Time for the May Music Festival, and to see once again what new song that Luna Lewis and Sam Sharo came up with, and this is a first for the new local wildlife living in town. I wanna say thanks to "Marvelomac1010" for the concept to this chapter and many more to come. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 596: May Music Festival…

(May 10. Ketcham Park. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

This is where the Royal Woods May Music Festival is being held and once again there are a lot of food stalls and some which are not from the town and state. There are different kinds of food trucks and the Pokémon wildlife seem quite interested in the event and wander around without causing any trouble.

The Loud's are already here. Lana with her Sewaddle and Lucy with her Shuppet. They then head off to meet with their friends. Lynnard then readies his cowbell. "Alright. Time to go and meet with the band. The Doo-Dads are back in action!" He then heads off.

The rest of his family is so confused. "Dad does know that his band has never even done other gigs since the last time they performed" replied Lola.

Rita sighs. "He just thinks they're a good band. But yeah, they haven't even performed anywhere else lately after they formed their band and the previous musical festival. Luna and Lincoln were right. A midlife crisis thing."

Lisa sighs. "Sounds sad. But let us not try and reason with father and his… idea." They then head off and check out the new food trucks and even one from Great Lakes City is here.

Meanwhile, Backstage is where we see Luna Lewis and her girlfriend Sam Sharp. They have their musical instruments prepared and ready. They then spot Lincoln, Amanda and Michelle headed towards them. Luna then embraces them. "Thanks for coming here and giving us some support family."

Lincoln chuckles. "We wouldn't wanna miss you and Sam going on stage. We will be watching from the audience and see what this new and special song is."

Amanda then speaks to Sam. "You're mom and little bro Simon are at this food truck from Great Lakes City. They'll be watching you perform on stage later."

Sam chuckles and nods. "Sounds cool, and when this is all done we have got to check out those food trucks."

They do spot Lynnard Loud and his band, The Doo-Dads composed of Kotaro, Harold McBride and Rodney Spokes. They do their weird thing which makes the other musical contestants back up ands steer clear of them. Michelle is confused. "At least LJ doesn't do that stuff anymore at sports."

They then see Chunk head towards them. "Hey you lot. Mayor Davis told me to tell you guys that the show will begin. This is gonna be another smashing gig girls."

They nod and the Lewis' head back. But Lincoln goes back to hug Luna again and she hugs her brother and kisses his forehead. They then break from the hug and Lincoln follows Michelle and Amanda. Luna smiles and she feels confident and ready for this.

Lynnard sees this and he's happy to see Lincoln and Luna still being the best of siblings and the support Luna is getting from her family. Deep down he is still concerned about one person. 'I hope my dad doesn't try and come into town and do something. He doesn't understand or even see the issues here, the issues which we caused.' He then goes to his band and he helps Kotaro out with his keyboard issue.

Meanwhile, Mayor Davis is on the stage. "Hello and Welcome everyone to this year's Month of May Music Festival!" everyone cheers hearing this. "We have a large line up of musical Performers who all wanna show off what they can do and for the grand prize…." She hits her keyboard which plays a drum roll. "A free desserts pass at Jean-Juan's!" everyone cheers hearing this and the contestants at the back are shocked.

The whole musical event begins! Sully and Mazzy doing an amazing performance as a rock n' roll duo, Rusty Spokes on the piano and his dad didn't even know he was gonna perform, Tabby doing some wicked DJ stuff on stage, and even Hope and Gretchen performing on the harp and violin. The Doo-Dads also perform and it's alright to everyone, but Rodney didn't have to smash his drums.

Then we see on stage are Luna and Sam. They have their gear ready and Chunk prepares the speakers. Luna and Sam see their families watching this and this makes them smile and have confidence they begin their song. Luna and Sam whistle, thus starting the beat.

The song is over and everyone cheers and even the Pokémon watching this are amazed and liked the song as well. Luna and Sam take a bow and then Mayor Davis goes on stage. "Well, looks like with this loud crowd and applause, it looks like the winners are Luna Lewis and Sam Sharp!"

Everyone cheers and claps hearing this. Luna and Sam hug each other and share a small kiss. The other contestants clap and cheer for them, and even though they didn't win Lynnard is proud of them. They are confused why Rodney is upset that they didn't win but maybe it's perhaps he smashed the drums after their song.

Then the Lewis' and Sharp's go on stage and hug them and congratulate them for the win. Luna smiles from this. 'Looks like we did prove that we're an amazing musical duo, now for tomorrow… Mother's Day.'

A/N: And once again Luna and Sam have nailed it and won, with another amazing song. As for tomorrow, well it's something special. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
