Dream back again, and this is going to be something both Michelle and Amanda did not expect and it has something to do with Luna and something she is feeling within for a certain blonde best friend. Chapter 650: Dream, Luna and a question…
(B. Lewis Residence, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods Michigan.)
Michelle and her wife Amanda are both in the living room and Michelle is checking on some paper work and she sorts out the rest. Amanda is going through her own work which involves her photography job and she smiles at the impressive shots that she got of herself/Lady Ace.
Michelle then sees the paper work for her kids. "It's almost time. The kids will be headed back to school next week, well that one is for Leni and Luna. But as for Lincoln, this is his first time in kindergarten and it'll be something new and good for him."
Amanda then speaks. "They head back next week and change is a good thing for our son. He is growing up and I know he'll have tons of fun and learn a lot. Heck, U wouldn't be surprised if he was an ace in classes with his grades as he climbs up."
Michelle nods and she sighs. "Yeah. I just still can't believe how much they have grown with us. It feels like yesterday that I was changing Lincoln's diapers and seeing his cute and happy face."
Amanda scooches closer. "I understand what you're feeling Michelle. It could get pretty lonely in here when they head to school, we do go to work but at times we are here at home. But at least we have each other to keep company and also the pugs."
Michelle chuckles hearing that one. Just then someone comes down the stairs and it's their daughter Luna B. Lewis and she goes towards them and asks. "Mom's can I talk to you about something?"
Michelle and Amanda nod. "Of course. Come over here sweetie." They allow Luna to sit between them on the couch and they do hug her and this makes her giggle, she knows that they're happy her going back to school and it will get kinda lonely here, since Lincoln will be going to kindergarten.
They depart from the hug and then Michelle asks. "So, what is it that you wanted to ask us sweetie?"
Luna seems nervous about this, but then she musters her courage and then asks. "How would you know if you have a crush on someone?"
Amanda and Michelle remain silent and they didn't think she'd ask them about that one and they know what this means, Luna has a crush on someone. Amanda then asks. "Why are you asking us about this Lunes?"
Luna feels nervous. "I don't know why I asked about this. I guess I am just curious."
But Michelle and Amanda can see right through this, that Luna is hiding something that they might know. Michelle then speaks. "Well, how do you feel when you're around this person?"
Luna explains to them. "I feel warm and really happy and it makes me feel really red all over my face, and I feel my heart beating really fast like it's going to come out of my chest. Is that normal?"
Amanda and Michelle smile hearing this and they answer. "That's how we felt for each other."
Michelle then continues. "It's okay sweetie. It's alright that you have a crush on some and totally normal to feel that way about a boy or a girl."
Luna nods, and then she asks something else. "Are there other couples just like you mom's?"
This confuses Amanda and Michelle. Amanda then asks. "What do you mean by that Luna?"
Luna then speaks. "Couples who are girls and like each other. I know the McBride's are boys who like each other, and I have seen other boys who like each other but are there others like you two mom's?"
Amanda and Michelle did not see this coming and so they both explain to Luna about the LGBTQ community and that they are an alright community. Thus fascinates Luna and she didn't know about this and now she respects it.
Just then Michelle and Amanda realize something. Luna asking about crushes and feelings about within the heart, and then asking about same gender relationships could mean one thing and then Michelle looks towards Luna and she asks. "Luna, do you have a crush on a girl?"
Luna looks down nervously and blushes, and she looks away and she seems kinda embarrassed and seeing this answers their question. They're daughter Luna likes girls. Michelle then asks. "Is it Sam Sharp?" they see Luna's face blush red and that is another answer to them.
Amanda then speaks. "Luna it's alright to have a crush on your best friend and completely normal too. A lot of folks have gone through this before, heck I even had a friend who had a crush on his best friend and right now they're living happily ever after in Florida." Michelle did not know that one.
Luna understands, but then she nervously speaks. "I don't know if I should tell Sam about how I feel about her, and I don't want her to freak out because I don't wanna lose my best friend. I don't even know if she also likes me too, because I don't know if she likes girls as well."
Michelle and Amanda can see that this is making Luna concerned and also bothering her thoughts. So Amanda speaks to her daughter. "Luna, you may never know until you try. Also, I have been through that before when I met your mom Michelle Lewis. I was afraid of how she'd feel about me when I told her, but the surprise was mostly onto me."
Michelle then speaks. "Because I like her too. I still remember the day we talked and then asked each other out and understood how we felt and what we saw in each other." This makes Amanda blush and she remembers everything of when they started.
Michelle then looks to her daughter. "Luna listen. If Sam doesn't feel the same way about your feelings to her, then you can both find some common grounds and just be friends, and nobody will get hurt from that one. But if she does share the same emotions as you, then it's going to be something great."
Luna thinks about this. "Yeah. You're right mom's. I can't let these thoughts cloud me, and can't get out of my head until I tell her and know how she feels about me." She then hugs Amanda and Michelle. "Thanks for the advice mom's!" Amanda and Michelle smile and return the hug. They then depart from the hug and they watch as Luna heads back upstairs to her room and begin her plans to tell Sam about how she feels.
Michelle and Amanda feel proud for helping Luna and they can see that she is growing up quite well and already having her own crushes and on her best friend Sam Sharp. "We are dang good when it comes to romantic advice" replied Amanda.
"Darn right we are" replied Michelle. "Though, we need to be ready for when Leni asks that, and most importantly Lincoln." Amanda agrees and she knows what she means since Lincoln and Jordan are best friends. Michelle and Amanda return to the papers for the kids return to school.
But both Michelle and Amanda did hear about this family in town. 'We don't have any other information about this McCann family that moved into town days ago. If their kid is trouble then we need to tell Lincoln and the others to be careful and to not get involved with that kid.'
Though, Amanda has a better idea. 'Perhaps, I could ask Jessie Hiller if I could do an interview about the McCann family, or better yet, this could be a risk…. Ask Katherine Mulligan if she might know, but I will need to make some kind of excuse for that one.'
(Reality.)
Michelle Lewis wakes up and she looks around and sees that she's in the dining room and her paper work are all packed up and done. 'I guess I dozed off.' She does see a blanket on her and she smiles, she knows her family placed this onto her to keep warm. She then picks up her bag and then she turns off the lights and heads back upstairs to get some sleep on the bed.
Michelle Lewis does smile and remembers what's coming next month. 'The vacation to Loch Loud is going to be something, I know that everyone else is super excited for this. But we gotta watch out, because Morag is still there.'
A/N: Looks like Luna B. Lewis has a thing for her best friend and thanks to some motherly advice she now knows what to do and soon, Loch Loud will be inbound for this summer start. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
