Time to visit Great Lakes City and see what is happening, some good times to enjoy which will lead towards something else that they did not expect to happen and also a big surprise from Sid as well. Chapter 674: Bandits and Bao's…

(July 27. Somewhere in Great Lakes City.)

The car from Amanda Bright shows up and they are looking forward to a big event happening here in Great Lakes City called, the Chinese Culture Fair. "This is going to be nice" replied Michelle. "An awesome and amazing event where we can see, hear and taste some traditions that the Chinese community uphold with honor and respect. This is legit going to be fun."

Then Luna recalls something. "Speaking of China. I heard that there was something on the news, and it involved whatever is happening in China. What the heck is that all about?"

Amanda explains that one. "Alright, so China attempted a hostile takeover to every naval territory in Asia, but their plan failed and they got taken down and surrounded by advanced Naval Forces from FutureTech and then Japan led an invasion to China with the aid from the United Korea. The Chinese Communist Party and they're president attempted to flee to Russia, but it failed miserably."

So, Michelle continues. "They anticipated them to fall back there and surrounded them. For their attempts to hostile takeover and trying to rebuild Communism with Nazism, the Chinese Communist Party has been sentenced to death and same with their president. The Chinese people seem rejoiced and all thanks to FutureTech and they're tactics. At least The West Philippine Sea is now free of Chinese ships that harass fisherman, and something about a FutureTech Black Tortoise vessel watching over."

Lincoln and Luna are happy to hear this and are glad that it's been dealt with and still they believe that something must've happened in the other world to make FutureTech head over and stop the madness. Lincoln them gets a text message. "Jordan and her parents are at the festival right now and waiting for us. We should meet with them…"

Luna then sees something. "Look out!" Amanda swerves hard right and avoids the incoming street lamp and she stops right into a parking spot and they take this moment to calm down. "That was too close!" they then get out and see what is happening.

They then spot three folks in what looks like bandit costumes. A big guy, a short guy and a lady with an eye patch. This confuses them and these three bandit-looking folks are doing damage in town. "What the heck is going on here? Why are these guys dressed like this? Some kind of cosplay event?"

Lincoln speaks. "I don't think so, though then again it could be of something of tradition for the Festival? I mean, we don't know for sure, and it might just be…"

"Guys!" they then spot Sid, Adelaide, and Dennis the Breakfast-Bot.

Lincoln then asks them. "Sid, Adelaide, Dennis. What the heck is happening? Why are these folks causing damage?"

Sid takes a deep breath and then she explains everything faster. "Our dad told us a story about one happened hundreds of years ago in the village of our ancestors called Clear Water Village and then three bandits from the rival family showed up named Yi, Woo and Hui. But our ancestor stopped them with delicious food in the form of a goldfish-shaped Bao and it worked and they said it Delights the eye, fills the stomach and energizes the body and so the three bandits agreed to spare and protect the village."

"And so our dad wants Adelaide and me to make 800 Bao's for the Chinese Culture Fair but it was too hard and we kinda suck making them and so we got help from some of the zoo animals but that wasn't enough and so I modified Breakfast-Bot/Dennis to make more faster then he malfunctioned from a bowl of dough landing onto him and he sent electric bolts everywhere and then hit dad's story book and… well, as you see the bandits from the story have arrived." They watch the bandits go on a rampage.

Sid then asks. "Did you guys understand all that?" they all nod. They believe her since strange stuff also happen.

Then Adelaide speaks. "We tried an alternative to show them the food here. It didn't even work. Pizza, Hotdogs and an Ice Cream Sunday did absolutely nothing and…" Sid and Adelaide notice Metang. "What the heck is that?"

"We don't have time for that!" yelled Amanda. "We need to send these guys back to the story where they won't do any harm and make sure they follow what is supposed to happen."

Dennis then speaks. "When I got short circuited by the bowl of dough it caused what seems to be an anomaly portal in which they got out. Right now the portal that them through is still here." They look up and see the swirls of dark clouds and the portal.

"Huh, well that's super convenient" replied Michelle. "But how do we lure them through the portal and back to where they belong?"

Luna thinks about this. "The Bao's, that's what they need. Sid and Adelaide are the ones who know how to make them. They have to make some, but make them exactly as your dad showed you. You think you two can do that?"

Sid thinks about this. "I think we can do this and also with the help from Dennis and then we can come back with the book too. Well, if that will help with this issue."

"One problem guys." Adelaide looks to the three bandits still doing damage everywhere. "We need to keep them still. We need time if we're gonna finish this."

Lincoln smirks. "Leave that to us!" Lincoln stands tall and same with Amanda. They have Servine, Metang and Pidgeotto. Luna didn't bring Revavroom with her and chose to let him rest. They are ready to neutralize the bandits but then two Pokémon from above come down and stand next to Sid and Adelaide. This surprise them and Lincoln knows who they are. "Sprigatito and Froakie?!"

Sprigatito.
Grass Cat Pokémon. Grass-Type.
Its fluffy fur is similar in composition to plants. This Pokémon frequently washes its face to keep it from drying out. The sweet scent its body gives off mesmerizes those around it. The scent grows stronger when this Pokémon is in the sun. Evolves into Floragato.

Froakie.
Bubble Frog Pokémon. Water Type
It secretes flexible bubbles from its chest and back. The bubbles reduce the damage it would otherwise take when attacked. Its happy-go-lucky look is an act intended to fool its enemies. It will suddenly drop the façade and overwhelm its foes with its blinding speed. It utilizes its extraordinary jumping abilities to flummox its foes, throwing springy bubbles at them from above their heads. Evolves into Frogadier.

Seeing these two Pokémon surprise them and then Dennis recalls. "I have seen them before. The others didn't notice them but I did and they also helped make Bao." They did not see this coming. "They started following them since late of May."

They did not see this coming. Sprigatito uses razor leaf and the female bandit is pinned to the wall. Froakie uses bubble beam and the smaller bandit is covered in bubbles and he can't move or escape. But the big bandit roars in anger. "You will pay for this strange animals!"

The large bandit charges at them but Sprigatito uses Stun spore to slow him down, then vine whip and tie him up following by Froakie using aqua jet and tackling the large bandit and he hits the wall Froakie uses ice beam and the man is stuck in place but his head not frozen.

The three bandits are confused by what just happened, but this makes the others smile. Sid and Adelaide are shocked and look towards Sprigatito and Froakie. "That was awesome!" cheered Sid. But then she realizes. "Wait, we need to make the Bao now!" Sid and Adelaide head back into the apartment building along with Dennis and Sprigatito and Froakie.

Leaving the others to watch over the bandits, and the bandits are trying to break free, and so they have their Pokémon help watch over them. This could take a while. Lincoln then decides to message Jordan, that they're going to be a while and they need to help Sid and Adelaide with something.

(Moments later.)

We now see Sid, Adelaide, Dennis, Sprigatito and Froakie come back with baskets filled with Bao. "We did it and it took us a lot of time" replied Adelaide. "We managed to make more than 500 Bao." She then sees the bandits still trying to break free.

Adelaide then had an idea and Froakie can tell what it is. They toss a basket in the air and then Adelaide and Froakie leap into the air and they kick the Bao towards the bandits and enters their mouths and they feel satisfied and happy.

"It delights the eye!"

"It fills the stomach!"

"It energizes the body!"

The large bandit speaks. "That is by far the best thing we have ever tasted. You two girls have an incredible talent with cooking. That tasted incredibly delicious!"

Sid and Adelaide smile and then Sid speaks. "Well there is a place where there is more. It's called Clear Water Village. Go there and keep the village safe guys."

This confuses the three bandits. "Wait, what? What do you mean? How do you know that?"

Before they know it, Servine and Sprigatito use vines and grab the bandits and toss them through the portal and it closes. They are all glad that it's now over. Michelle looks towards Sid and Adelaide. "I hope you two learned something from this."

Sid nods and she speaks. "Yeah we did. Always do something by yourself and never ever use a device or robotic system to make or bake, otherwise it could end horribly." Dennis is glad to hear that one, and Sid then pets the head of Sprigatito and she likes her.

Adelaide pets Froakie, and Froggy 2 sits on Froakie's head and croaks, and they like each other. "At least the bandits are gone and we have to make more Bao before dad comes back." Sid nods and she goes back to the apartment with Dennis, Sprigatito and Froakie.

The Lewis' and Amanda Bright are still stunned by what had happened earlier. Lincoln then asks. "Shall we go to the festival now?" They then head towards Amanda's car to meet with the Rosato's at the festival and then explain to them what happened.

A/N: Well, that happened and they managed to resolve the issue and send those bandits back and now Sid and Adelaide Chang have their own Pokémon. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
