Sort of an aftermath from what had happened the other day, but also some hang out time with their superhero counterparts, and also something they wanna try and test their companions and how they are amazing, awesome and powerful. Chapter 675: A Pokémon battle…
(July 28. Tall Timbers Park. Royal Woods Michigan.)
Something intense is happening…. A battle is in motion and we see Sprigatito leap into the air and land on her feet and she growls and hisses. She dodges the incoming attack from an Arcanine and then Arcanine uses flamethrower but Sprigatito dodges again and then uses razor leaf.
Arcanine leaps into the air and then uses flame charge but Sprigatito surprisingly digs into the ground and dodges this. Arcanine looks around but before she can react, Sprigatito pops out from below and tackles Arcanine at the belly sending her upwards and then she uses vine whip to grab Arcanine and slam her to the ground.
But Arcanine doesn't give up and goes in for quick attack and Sprigatito does the same but Arcanine stops and uses flame charge and this surprises Sprigatito and she dodges but Arcanine is in front of her and nails the tackle hard. Sprigatito is sent flying towards Sid Chang and Sprigatito is out of the fight.
Major Rosato looks to Sprigatito and sees her dazed look and then she calls out. "Sprigatito is unable to continue the battle. The winner is Linka Spellman, and Growlie the Arcanine."
Linka hugs her Arcanine, she has gotten stronger and they see Sid tending to Sprigatito with the help from Becca and Adelaide. Linka then goes towards them. "For all it's worth. She put up one heck of a battle. I didn't even think she knew dig."
"I honestly don't know how to do much with the moves" replied Sod. "This is still kinda new to me. But this was pretty cool." She then looks to her Pokémon partner. "And you're pretty cool too little Sprig." Sprigatito smiles and she hugs Sid, to which she hugs her back.
This touching moment makes Stanley take a photo of this. Becca manages to tend to Sprigatito and also there watching this are Lincoln, Luna, Jordan, Luna Frost and Commander Freezer Burn and with their Pokémon with them as well.
"Now that was awesome and intense" replied Jordan. "I didn't think it would turn out into something like this. Still, Sid's Sprigatito did an awesome job in combat." She then pets Fidough and she feels worried about letting her battle against these stronger Pokémon.
Lama and Lucy are here as well with Banette and Sewaddle, but Lana is not sure about letting her little grass worm Pokémon in this battle. Lisa is also here and she is just observing but she does take notice that Neil Austin Spellman is here and he has three Pokéballs. Lincoln then asks. "So, who wants to go on next?"
Neil stands up "Anyone here wanna go and face a dragon type player?" Adelaide steps up with Froakie. "Well alright. Someone young and filled with fire, er water and ice. Let's see if you can be as determined as the Adelaide from our world with her Poliwrath."
They see Adelaide looks ready and same with Froakie and they both do some karate stances. "My Froakie is ready!"
But Neil smirks. "Is he now?" Now they know Neil has a Garchomp and Salamence, but he has a new Dragon Type and he's going to show it now. He throws the Pokéball and they see what it is… A Fraxure.
Fraxure.
Axe Jaw Pokémon. Dragon Type.
Their tusks can shatter rocks, they're territorial battles can turn pretty intense and many have been told to steer clear from mountainous areas where they reside. They must be careful with their tusks, for it will not grow back should it be broken, and so they sharpen their tusks with rocks near the river and with durable armor like skin, they prefer the tactic of tackle and stab. Evolved from Axew and evolves into Haxorus.
Adelaide is shocked to see this but her Froakie doesn't seem intimidated, and so Fraxure charges, but Froakie dodges the tusk attacks, and then uses bubble beam, which kinda blinds Fraxure and makes him lose focus, then Fraxure looks around and is struck by a tackle from Froakie, but he doesn't budge and grabs Froakie by the leg and slams him to the ground.
But Froakie gets back up and uses bubble beam and then hydro pump, but Fraxure uses his tusks to deflect these attacks, and then he uses dig, and so Froakie leaps into the air and right on time, Fraxure emerges, and so Froakie grabs onto the back of Fraxure, and he panics and tries to get his foe off of him. But Froakie doesn't let go, and tries to have Fraxure lose balance.
But Fraxure thinks fast, and slams to the ground back first, and Froakie takes the impact. Fraxure gets up and sees Froakie is gone, but then he looks up and sees that Froakie leaped into the air, and he nails the ice beam, which is the weakness of Fraxure and he is frozen solid. Froakie sees his chance, and he learns a new move, mega punch and this surprises everyone.
Before Fraxure can even break the ice, he is struck to the face and Fraxure is knocked out and everyone is shocked seeing this and even Neil. "No freaking way!"
Major Rosato sees Fraxure is dazed and unable to fight. "Looks like Fraxure is unable to battle. The winner is Adelaide and Froakie!" Adelaide cheers hearing this and she hugs Froakie, Froakie himself could not believe what he just did and he too is happy.
They see Neil send Fraxure back into the Pokéball and he smiles and nods. A sign of respect. "Keep getting stronger, kid. You're Froakie has a strong aura, and is bound to become stronger with you." Adelaide has high hopes hearing that one. But then she wonders, what does Froakie evolve into.
Luna Frost then speaks. "I am surprised that you guys handled that bandits issue from the other day, and with the help from you're Pokémon buddies… But seriously though, don't let that crud happen again."
Sid and Adelaide understand, Sid goes over and she is proud of her little sister. Then Lincoln gets up, and Servine nods and backs up, to let Metang handle this. "I am ready for this."
They see Commander Freezer burn, but he is not going to use Absol, he's going to use Sandaconda. "This is going to be fun. Alright, Lincoln Lewis. Let's see what you're new Pokémon buddy can do." But he is surprised from what he was told. 'All this time, they had two Beldum's in their house?!'
Lincoln and Metang start the fight and Metang takes off to the sky and then comes back down, and he does something they did not see coming. He channels his focus blast to his claws, and shoots them like small laser rounds, and they hear this Star Wars TIE Fighter shots, and this shocks everyone.
Lincoln is confused, and then Commander Freezer Burn asks. "Did Beldum watch Star Wars?"
Sandaconda digs into the ground and escapes this new move, Metang then flies around and waits for Sandaconda to emerge, and sure enough he does but with a sand storm and this renders Metang unable to see, but then he spins around the sand storm and makes a sand tornado.
This causes Sandaconda to be caught in the middle, but then he stands upright and spins the other direction and makes the tornado spin with him and now Metang is caught into the spin and can't control himself, and then he is struck by Sandaconda with a tackle.
But then Metang grabs Sandaconda, and then spins him around and slams Sandaconda to the ground but instead he digs, and so Metang avoids the ground level and then has a new plan, he hovers around at low level to the ground and waits, and then Sandaconda comes out to attack.
But Metang uses telekinesis and makes Sandaconda float and thrown into the air. Metang goes in with quick attack and lands an iron claw to Sandaconda, and then he grabs Sandaconda and sends him own with one powerful body slam. Metang remains floating and they see Sandaconda is dazed.
Major Rosato is surprised, and so is everyone. "Whoa! Sandaconda can't continue, and so this win is Lincoln Lewis, and his partner Metang!" They all clap and cheer seeing this, and even Servine is impressed at what happened. But then again, she saw it coming and knew Metang would win.
The others go over, and they talk to Lincoln and Metang on how awesome that battle was. Then Commander Freezer burn shows up, and he has Sandaconda back in the Pokéball. "Kid, that was intense, and awesome. Also, that move Metang pulled during his first attack…. That's new and different. I think, you should name that move."
This surprises everyone, and so Lincoln thinks about it. "How about…. Strafing Blast?" They all liked that name, and they can add that to a new move for any type of Pokémon who can turn their focus blasts into something more.
A/N: Now that is what I call an epic Pokémon battle, and who knows when they will do this again, and test their Pokémon's might! I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
