Chapter 734: Leonard Loud…
(September 25. Camp Mastodon.)
Vanzilla arrives along with Lori and Leni's car and Luna's car as well. All of them come out and they do not look happy. Michelle looks to everyone and she asks. "Is everyone here ready for this stupid thing?"
All of them don't respond because they don't even wanna be here and deal with whatever Leonard Loud wants. They got the letter, even the Loud's and they even contacted Lori and Leni to come and now all of them are here, and would rather not be here.
Amanda looks around and she does some hand signals to Pidgeotto and the Bird Pokémon flies off, Serperior takes to the trees with Metang and Swadloon following and Banette stays close to Lucy to keep them safe.
Rita sighs. "Alright everyone. Let's go and see what Leonard has to say this time." They all head to the Campsite and ignore the sign and everything else. 'God, if he starts ranting again, I am punching his face.'
They arrive to the camping ground and there they see Leonard Loud and he just finished breakfast. The old man smiles seeing everyone. "Hey there gang. Welcome back to-"
"What the hell do you want from us this time, you old geezer fool?" asked Michelle sternly.
Leonard Loud can see that all of them aren't in the mood to even be here. He also knows that Lori and Leni would have better things to do than be here and listen to him. "Guys, I know you all hate me. But I just wanna know the truth, what did cause Lincoln and Luna wanna leave the family and what did my son and his wife even do?"
They all remain silent. "That's it, this is stupid. I'll be waiting in the van." But Michelle stops Lola from leaving. She looks to Luna and she glares at the old man and she tells him everything and she doesn't miss every detail about how it all began and the day they met Michelle Lewis and changed everything.
Even explaining that all of this that Lynnard Loud is, is all because of how Leonard Loud fathered his son and it made Lynnard think that's how he should raise his kids, favoring those with talents that make sense. Thus causing Child Neglect onto Lincoln and causing Luna to take action and rise up.
Rita and Lynnard even tell him about the many times they have tried to force Luna into Rock n' Roll which she doesn't want to and causing her to become furious and fight back. Because all that mattered to Luna was her little brother and she would never fall in line like the others. Because Luna is Lincoln's Legal Guardian.
Rita and Lynnard both feel bad about what happened long ago, both filled with guilt and a long road to total redemption. Then Michelle Lewis arrived and she changed everything and made changes that were all for the better and improved the Loud Kids and became a mother figure to an actual mother to Lincoln and Luna.
The hard choices and changes and many improvements and lessons so that they don't act up into chaos, and then came the adoption of Lincoln and Luna from Loud's to Lewis' and they're new home and Amanda Bright joining in and also seen as a mother towards Lincoln and Luna.
Luna then continues with one final thing. "Another reason why we didn't see those two as our parents, was when Rita Loud got into a heated argument with our mom because she was better than her and it is true, Michelle Lewis is better than Rita Loud and then she spoke… hurtful words to her, and we haven't forgotten."
"We are happy with what we have now and the new life ahead of us. We're improving and changing and looking through the moments that make things better than how we have lived when those two kept meddling with us and we're happy with our mom and her soon to be wife."
Hearing that one makes Amanda and Michelle blush. 'I haven't even proposed to her yet.'
Leonard Loud is surprised to hear all of this and now he understands. "Guys… Michelle, I am so sorry for my meddling and constant complaints and ranting. I never should have done those thing's, but I was blinded by my own beliefs and stupid choices. I thought the family was happy with what they have, I didn't know things were turning sour and bad for Linc and Lunes."
This surprises them and then Lana asks. "Why the change of heart now?"
Leonard explains. "The 18th birthday of Luna-"
"You followed us" replied Michelle with her arms crossed. "We know and you also tried to sneak into the party but left and then got beaten up by FutureTech assigned security and then forced to leave. I made that countermeasure against you."
The others didn't know about that and Leonard sighs and he continues. "I saw how Michelle was treating Luna and how much she loves them both and makes them happy, and that proved she is a good mother to them and I was wrong-"
"She's always bee a good mother to them!" yelled Leni.
"We literally said that to you back then too" replied Lori.
"Heck, Michelle is a good mother figure to us as well" replied Luan.
"I question how you forgot those words" replied Lisa. "But then again, you are old and a stubborn fool to even recollect previous conversations, or it could be old age Alzheimer's kicking in." That one makes Lincoln smirk. Because Pop-pop doesn't have Alzheimer's.
Leonard Loud feels like he just got roasted there. "I wanna make amends and fix what I have done. I'm sorry for all that annoying stuff I kept sending and talking and also the other dumb plans I had which could've gone too far."
They are all uncertain about this. But then Michelle intervenes. "Leonard Loud, you have caused us so much annoying trouble that it's pretty much in parr with Rita and her bitching towards me." They cover the ears if the younger Loud's. "But, I am willing to forgive just as I did with Rita." That one shocks them.
Then Michelle grabs Leonard by his and raises him up. "But I swear if you ever try and do something else to my family and the other's, then I will send you back to the Bearing Sea in a wooden box going down the depths where the sun doesn't shine. Are we clear?!"
Hearing this scares Leonard and the others did not see this coming and they question how strong is Michelle Lewis. She drops Leonard and he nods. "Y-Yes. I promise." The others also sorta agree to this, but Lincoln and Luna remain silent and glare at the old man.
They all take their leave. But Lincoln does speak. "It'll be a long time before any of us see you as our grandfather." Then Serperior lands down next to Lincoln and hisses at the old man and Metang comes down and looks miffed.
Leonard is surprised to see this and Lincoln walks back with the others and his Pokémon following. Pidgeotto swoops down and Leonard ducks and the Bird Pokémon lands on Amanda's shoulder. The old man watches then drive off back home.
Leonard Loud sighs and he sits onto a log. 'I gotta figure out how to fix things with the family. Man, I screwed up big time on the deck.'
A/N: Looks like they're all going to give Leonard another chance and yet it will be long and hard. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter guys.
