Ruby Rose POV

"Player One, WINS!" My console announces.
"Yes!" I shout, throwing my arms up in victory. "I aaamm the best!"
"Sure you are." Blake says as she sets the controller down. "Now, wanna play my game?"
"Sure, maybe then I can beat you there as well." I say happily. "At this rate Blake, you'll be looking at the leader of Team Silver by this time next year."
"Okay." Blake says as she rolls her eyes, getting up and heading to her dresser where she opens the bottom drawer, and pulls out a wooden board game.
"What do you think Weiss and Cyril are up to?" I ask as Blake sets the game down on the desk.
"I'unno." Blake shrugs as she unfolds the board. "Coffee shop, stroll in the park?"
Yeah, that sounds about right. Cyril is a calm guy so long as nothing sets him off. And Weiss is all about being proper and keeping image.

Cyril Leon POV
.
"This is highly irregular Mr. Leon!" Braun Nose says.
"I'm not sure you know what that word means." I say evenly as I rock back. "Irregular means, by definition, uneven, or not balanced. As you can see, I'm well balance."
I say as I lift my feet off the table. Balancing on the back legs of the chair. Giving the brown suited man a smirk.
These snobs are so uptight. They literally gasped when I sat down, and kicked my feet up on the table.
"Irregardless!" He raises his voice.
"Also not a standard word! It's an informal form of regardless." I point out as I put my feet back on the table. "Seriously man, read a dictionary. Or did daddy dearest forget to stock that in the family library?"
Ooh! Eye twitch! Never really seen that before.
"I assure you that I am a well read individual." He states before registering the situation. "That's besides the point!"
"Alright, listen here Brown Holes." I say as I stand up.
" Braun Holz!" He spits out, his face redder than his suit.
"Be glad I got it right the first time." I roll my eyes. "It's more than I cared to."
"Care to, Sir!" He stammers. "The Holz family name-"
"Yeah yeah yeah." I cut him off. "You're a guy who's gonna get a bunch of money from daddy who got that money from daddy who got that money from daddy and so on and so forth until you get to your great something or other who was wallowing in the mud digging up turnips. You're not special."
At this point I've gained everyone's attention on us. Standing up, it's plain to see that I'm actually an inch taller than Braun. Now that we're face to face.
"I beg your pardon!?" He demands.
"No, I beg your pardon. From this execution of boredom you've sentenced me to." I cut him off. "Seriously! This place is drab! No music, the decoration is cliché, the food is, well okay the food is decent. I'll give you that."
"Where you get off on making an uncivilized fool of yourself is beyond me ." He says in a heated breath. "Though I suppose that's to expected of Weiss's company ."
I'd pull a, and what does that mean? But we all know what that means. And besides, I doubt it'll get him angry. Weiss made one stipulation.
Don't get aggressive. Whatever I do, I cannot appear to take issue with what he says. I'm a Hunter in training. Me getting upset, can be taken as a genuine threat.
So, I'm just buying time for Weiss to reapply her makeup and put her clips back in.
"Ooh, first name basis eh?" I smirk. "You and her close? She didn't tell me that."
"Excuse you!" He says recoiling back as he's visibly offended. "You just, urgh, no!"
"Yeesh." I roll my eyes, not that he can see. "You'd think you didn't like her or something."
"My feelings towards, Ms. Schnee are not the concern right now!" He yells. "The concern is that the no name, uncultured heathen who I had the grace to allow into a gathering if his betters! Is currently making a mockery of my generosity!"
The crowd around us is in a real stint right now. All conversing in hushed whispers. Things like, animal, uncivilized, and I think I heard a, just what you'd expect.
'Bingo.' I think to myself as the crowd is now paying full attention to me.
Just in time too, as I see the balcony door open.
Time to put on the final act.
"No name, uncultured heathen is that right?" I say as I close my eyes and slowly take my sunglasses off. "Braun Holz, right?"
"Yes." He says with a huff. "And you'd do well to remember it. Especially after tonight!"
"Oh trust me." I say, still smiling as I open my eyes. "I will."
I enjoy the look of his face. Going from constipated anger, to soft frustration, to realization, to the 'oh fuck' wide eyes everyone knows and loves. Mirroring the gasps of those behind him who can see my face.
"Cyril!" I hear Weiss shout as she cuts through the crowd.
Her makeup is back, mostly. She's just covering her scar at this point with it. And her clips are back and holding her ears down.
"Oh, hey Weiss!" I wave to the irate girl, turning and earning more looks of surprise and concern from those seeing my face.
"Don't you hey me!" She says with a huff as she turns me around and pushes me towards the door. "We're leaving!"
"Okay! Okay! Hey!" I say as I move.
"I am so sorry Mr. Holz." She says as she takes my place and bows. "I'll take responsibility and return him to Beacon."
"It's, alright Ms. Schnee." The man recovers quickly. "It was a mere disagreement. I'm sure we can-"
"Too late!" I shout as I press the elevator button, the other guests having parted for me without so much as a word. "I'm out losers!"
"Cyril!" Weiss shouts after me before addressing Braun. "I'll talk to him!"
Stepping into the elevator, just in time for Weiss to make it. I lean against the wall as she goes off.
"Cyril you promised you'd be on your best-" She shouts, red-faced and angry as the door closes.
Of course the moment the door closes, Weiss latches onto me and pulls me into a kiss.
"Mmmmph!" She moans into the kiss as I hold her, my hands on her back as her tail wraps around my right arm before she separates with a gasp. "Don't think you can distract me! What you did there was over the top and uncalled for! He was the host Cyril! You couldn't have picked the hussy that was hitting on you?"
Disregarding the obvious. I cock a brow curiously.
"There was someone hitting on me?" I ask.
"Don't change the subject!" She demands.
"Hey, a scene you wanted, a scene I made." I smirk at her red face.
"Wipe that dumb smirk off your face!" She says with a heavy breath before pulling me back into a kiss.
The elevator stops, and Weiss pushes off of me and composes herself. Frowning with a glare as she marches forward the moment the door opens. Her blush only serving to make her look angrier as her heels click on the tiles of the hall.
This is too fun.

Weiss unlocks the door, marches into the room, and heads straight to the bathroom. Having remained silent the whole way back. Playing the part of the upset friend the entire time.
Ruby and Blake look up from their game of, is that Nine Men's Morris? They're playing the game at the wall desk. Ruby looks over worriedly as Blake just looks confused.
"Did, did it not go well?" She asks.
"Aside from the opera and the very end." I say as I close the door. "Pretty uh, unenjoyable is the best word for it."
"What!?" Ruby says, petalling over to me. "What happened? Maybe it's just a big misunderstanding! I'm sure it's-"
I place a hand on her head, earning an eep that lets me know I hit the reset. Good to know it still works.
"It's fine Ruby." I say softly. "It was a bad date, it happens."
Of course, this just causes Ruby to become more worried.
"B-b-but, you and Weiss, me and Weiss, this team we, and Blake!" She stutters out she gestures wildly.
"Okay what?" Blake pipes up, giving the excuse me face.
"Ruby it's fine." Weiss says as she comes out of the bathroom. Now, devoid of heels, hair clips and makeup. "Cyril is just an uncultured letch. It's not his fault he can't enjoy higher society functions. There'll still be more dates, I just have to keep in mind his, vulgar nature."
"Pfft, okay yeah." I laugh as I walk past a very confused Ruby. "Pin it all on me. Everything was my fault."
"I'm glad we agree." Weiss huffs and crosses her arms.
"I, you, but we, I uh, haba and it's just!" Ruby continues to stutter out.
"Just because the date was bad doesn't mean we don't intend to continue courting each other Ruby." Weiss says as I now stand in front of her.
"Huh?" She asks.
"The date was bad, they're still going out." Blake explains in Ruby words.
"Why didn't you say so!?" Ruby whines as she petals over to us. "Weiss! Does this mean we're still good for our date!?"
'Okay what?' I think as my mind blanks.
"Yes Ruby, we're still on for our date." Weiss says plainly, causing Ruby to glomp the shorter girl. "H-hey!"
"Yes!" Ruby cheers. "Don't worry Weiss I'll take care of planning everything! You won't have to lift a finger and we can just enjoy ourselves!"
'Hot.' Is all I can think as Weiss blushes through her frown. 'Wait, I'm dating two bisexual girls who are more than okay being a throuple? Yes!'
"And what's that dumb smirk for?" Weiss glares through her blush.
"You two are adorable together." I say, earning a squeak from Ruby and huff from Weiss. Both blushing.

Setting my toothbrush down, I spit into the sink and finish my oral hygiene routine. Finishing up with mouthwash and putting the toothbrush in one of those plastic caps.
It's as I finish this, that the door opens behind me to reveal Weiss.
"So, is you just, walking in on me in the bathroom going to be a normal thing?" I ask as I turn to face her. "Because depending on the circumstance, that might end poorly."
Not dignifying my words. Weiss coughs into her fist, closing her eyes as she speaks.
"I'm here, to apologize for my earlier behavior." She says professionally. "It was, uncalled for of me to pin the poor outcome of our outing all on you. I should've communicated better to insure the day would be to both of our preferences."
She's using that as an excuse to see me in a more private setting.
"That's it?" I ask with a smile, leaning against the sink as I cross my arms. "Weiss it's fine. I already told you this."
"Be that as it may, it is only proper that I apologize for my behavior." She says as she scoots forward, just past the doorway. "Seeing as my actions may have painted you in an unfavorable light towards others."
"So that's what it is?" I say, not believing her for one second. "I thought we already established that I don't care about what's proper or what other's think of me."
"Yes, you've made that quite clear." She says, not moving from the doorway. "But, I do. And I felt it simply needed to be said. To avoid any miscommunication."
Deciding to just, go along with where this is obviously going. I walk forward, taking a step and putting her right in front of me. A blush appearing on her face as she takes a deep breath and leans forward slightly.
I'm still about a foot away from her. And it's obvious she's trying to lean into me without making it obvious.
"So are you just going to stand there or?" I tease, causing her to snap her eyes open with a massive blush.
"R-right." She says as she steps back. "I'll, see you in the morning Cyril."
Taking a larger step forward, I wrap my arms around her. Causing her to flinch, before taking a deep breath and relaxing against me. Her shoulders going slack as her tail starts to sway.
"Not gonna hug me back?" I ask teasingly.
"Since you're forcing me." She says stubbornly before raising her arms to return the hug, her tail swaying faster.
"Yes, I'm the roguish brute, forcing you into heartwarming acts of diabolically wholesome affection." I tease.
Weiss looks up at me with a soft blush and sleepy eyes. I don't understand just what she finds so relaxing about hugs. I get that she's touch starved, but just how touch starved can one person be?
Oh, she's trying to push herself up and kiss me. And failing, so I meet her half way.
"Hmmph!" She squeaks as our lips meet. Stiffening slightly before going completely slack as her tail wraps around and pushes our waists together.
Weiss holds me tighter and tighter as her breathing gets heavier. Before she finally separates with a gasp. Her tail twitching against my back as she catches her breath.
"Better?" I ask the blushing girl.
"Hmph." She pouts, smacking her forehead to my chest.
"Something wrong?" I ask knowingly.
"I-it's nothing." She lies before separating from me. "Have a good night Cyril."
She walks off to her bed. Leaving me confused as to what got her upset, then I see it.
Ruby, just ducked back under her blanket.
We were being spied on the whole time. And Weiss composed herself immediately as soon as she noticed the little voyeur.
.
.
-Beacon, SLBR Dorm, 09/21 7:30am-
.
.
"I blame you." Blake says with a glare.
Weiss, has been in the shower for almost half an hour now. Blake is glaring, and Ruby is red faced as she pretends to not know what's going on.
"You'd blame me for inflation if I bought a balloon." I cut back, which got a chuckle from Ruby.
'Ah, she actually got that one.' I think amusingly.
"Fuck it." Blake says as she sets out her combat clothes. "I'll just volunteer in combat class and take a shower then."
"Good idea." I say as we finally hear the water shut off.
Five minutes later, Weiss walks out. Looking much the same as she ever does. Ignorant to our stares. Or, just good at acting.
Taking the chance, I get up and rush to the bathroom, only for Ruby to cut me off. Petalling into the bathroom with her semblance.
"That's cheating!" I shout as I hit the door.
"All's fair in love and war!" Ruby shouts. "And this is a battle of the clean!"
"Cyril if you turn around I will stab you." Blake says.
"Why didn't you just change in the bathroom!?" I demand to know as I stare at the wooden door.
.
.
I ended up copying Blake's plan and just wear my combat clothes. Intent on volunteering for combat today.
Taking our usual seats at the front of the class. I notice Team CRDL is still here. Though, Cardin is sitting a row down from the rest of his team. And the green one seems to keep glaring at Cardin.
"How are they still here?" I ask my team.
"We signed NDA's and cannot discuss the details." Weiss says automatically before Ruby can talk.
"Well that's a load of bull." I huff as I lean back. Blake sideyes me, but doesn't comment.
Hey! Progress! I'll take it.
Also, Weiss is pressing herself next to me. And wraps her tail around my waist. All the while sitting prim and proper, not even aware of what she's doing.
"Alright!" Tai says as he claps his hands together. "First thing's first! Ruby Rose!"
"Eep." Ruby squeaks, flinching at having her name called.
"My cologne. That stuff's expensive and I use it for date nights." He says with a flat look, staring directly at her. "Return it during free period, alright?"
"You could've texted me!" Ruby whines, embarrassed and causing a bigger scene. "Th-this is unprofessional of you!"
"Take it up with HR." He dismisses her. "Alright! Cologne thief addressed, today we're going to work on Hand to Hand!"
Ruby whines more at that. Sliding down in her seat on the bench. Ending with her on the floor as we all stare at her.
Looking up, Tai just has a smug look as his chest trembles. Clearly holding in a laugh.
"First up!" He calls out. "Pyrrha versus Cardin!"
"Shouldn't you be using the automizer!?" Cardin pipes up, clearly not feeling up to fighting the Mistralian gladiator.
"When I feel like it." He shrugs.
I like this guy.
.
.
"I'm out!" Cardin cries as Pyrrha has him on the ground. Chicken winged with a hand to the back of his neck. "How are you so heavy!?"
After seeing the fight and Tai's reaction to it all. I can only conclude that Tai has to know about Pyrrha's semblance. And he pitted her against a fully armored opponent. Yeah, he knows what Cardin did, and this was nothing but petty.
"Maybe I won't be called?" Ruby whines. Still flat on the floor. "Hey Cyril, how likely do you-"
"Ruby and Dove!" Tai calls out.
"Aaaaaaaaannnnnn!" Ruby whines.
As Cardin and Pyrrha return to their seats. Dove heads to the locker room as Ruby whines and keeps going. And going, and going, and she takes a breath.
"Ruby you have three minutes or you get homework." Tai says, no longer amused.
Ruby disappears in a burst of petals as Tai just shakes his head at her behavior.
.
.
"Stay still!" Dove shouts as he throws a punch.
"Ah!" Ruby squeaks as she petals away.
"Oh my gods." I groan into my hands.
She could just grab him, petal and make him nauseous as fuck. Easy win!
"Ruby you can't keep running!" Tai calls out.
"Watch me!" She counters as she ducks away from a grapple.
"Cyril." Weiss says. "You have proficiency in hand to hand, correct?"
"I'm no expert but I have the basics of unarmed self defense." I answer simply.
"We are training Ruby." She says. "Blake will help."
"No argument here." I say as I watch the embarrassing display Ruby is putting on.
Not even Blake has anything to say. She's too busy covering her eyes and looking away.
.
.
Ruby managed to run out the clock. Almost impressive, for the sheer fact that she did run forever. Or at least, as long as she needed to.
Much to Tai's shame and disappointment.
The next few matches were Nora and Blake. I asked Blake what she'd want written on her tombstone and she said Fuck you. So, currently deciding on whether or not to italicize that or not.
She lost.
Next was Jaune and Sky. Sky actually won, but just barely by kicking Jaune in the nuts by accident. At which point we learned Tai is firmly of the, all's fair just don't kill each other, school of teaching.
Now, it's me and Ren.
Since I was already in gear, it was just him who had to change. I just had to leave my weapons with Ruby.
"Alright, you two ready?" Tai asks.
"I'll, not use my semblance." I say. "No offence but, this is about hand to hand."
He nods before bowing. Fist to palm and all.
"I'm ready." He says.
"Go!"
Ren immediately takes a martial arts stance. One hand down with the palm facing the ground. And his other arched back with the palm facing me.
"I'm going to lose, aren't I?" I sigh as I get into a boxing stance.
"Do not admit defeat, before a victory is certain." He says.
"Victory is decided, before the battle." I counter, earning a small smile from him.
We actually stay still for a while longer. Problem here, is that both of us are reactionary. I fight by waiting for an opening, or learning how my opponent moves and taking advantage of any slips.
Ren? I have no clue. Just that he's apparently a patient guy.
"Um, fight?" Tai says.
Getting bored, I rush in and throw a right cross. That Ren deflects by bringing up the arm that was pointed to the floor, and batting it away.
Activating my semblance, I see he's moving his leg forward. Almost putting it between my feet as he brings his other hand forward for a kidney shot.
Deciding to not let that slide, I throw myself to the right and roll out of the way. Getting to my knees just in time to see him correct himself and turn to me. Charging at me as I stand.
I see him wind up a right hook, unusual for him. But I see his left leg plant. He's actually going for a leg sweep.
Turning, I plant my right leg forward. Stopping the sweep as our shins collide. He then twists on his hands, and brings his left leg up to kick me. Where I catch his foot.
"Tap out?" I ask as I cut off my semblance.
"Yes." He says from the floor before slapping it.
Good, because fuck me my shin hurts!
Letting go of his leg, Ren catches himself and stands up as Tai calls the match.
"You led me into a false confidence." He says with a bow. "It seems you were right about victory."
"In your defense, I genuinely thought you'd kick my ass." I say
"Hmm." He hums as I pat him on the back. "More to think on I suppose."
"Don't think too hard." I say with a smile. " I don't. And you see where it got me!"
Ren stares at me with a blank expression. Blinking once before adding.
"Do not take this the wrong way." He says softly. "But I am grateful that you are not on a team with Nora and I."
I laugh as he walks back to his team, while I turn around.
"Still getting that shower." I say as I head to the locker room.
"Um, why?" Tai asks in confusion.
"Your daughter used up all the hot water." I say as I pass the door.
"Lies!" I hear Ruby shout as the door closes behind me.
.
.
-Free period, SLBR Dorm-
.
.
Opening the door to our room. I see it empty save for Ruby. Currently hanging off her bed. Face against the floor, legs on the bed.
"So, what's this?" I ask as I squat down next to her.
"Mmmm bored." She mumbles into the floor.
"Yes, the floor has boards." I say. "They're actually called floorboards."
"Hand me the bottle." Ruby says as she holds her hand out.
"Um, how about a no." I tell her.
She lets her arm fall with a slap. Staying there as I think of something.
"Wanna do something?" I ask.
"Nothing's good to do." Ruby says.
'Don't do it.' I scream in my head to not make the obvious joke.
"We could always hit the gym." I offer her. "Work on your hand to hand."
"Noooo." She groans.
"Alright." I say with a grin. "Hey, I know what'll put the pep in your step."
"What?" Ruby asks, turning to look at me as I smirk at her.
.
.
-Beacon, Emerald Woods, 1:30pm-
.
.
"This is awesome!" Ruby shouts as she cyclones, slicing through a pack of beowolves while I decapitate a creep that pops out of the ground.
"Told you!" I say as I pull the trigger, adding force to my slice.
"Aaaah!" Ruby squeals in excitement as she laughs innocently. Bisecting Grimm one after the other.
We're right next to the cliffs. So if anything happens, it's a quick petal out of here. I don't know what it is. But I just find killing Grimm, fun.
Maybe I'm just an adrenaline junkie and never knew? It's possible.
.
.
-1 hour later-
.
.
I ended up calling to cancel my tutoring session with Velvet. Me and Ruby lost track of time in the forest and there was no way I was making it back on time.
"Ugh." I huff as I fall onto my back at the top of the cliff. "That was fun."
I let out a wheeze as Ruby falls onto my stomach. Laying down across, gut to gut.
"Yeah, that was awesome." Ruby says happily.
"Ehem!" We both hear and look over to see Weiss and Blake.
Blake looking bored as she leans to one side with a hand on her hip. And Weiss, is Weiss with her arms crossed over her chest as she taps a foot.
"It was Cyril's idea!" Ruby shouts before petalling away.
"You rat!" I shout as I try to get up, only to have a black glyph appear under me, making everything heavier.
"Don't even-" Weiss starts before I just, roll out of the glyph.
"Kyne's winds!" I shout. "Wuld Nah!"
Oh yeah, we worked out a few key words using my 'gods' and sayings based around them. I struggle not to laugh every time.
.
.
Weiss Schnee POV
.
"What just happened?" I ask as I uncover my ears.
"He ran." Blake says.
"I saw that. I meant, how did he get out of my trap?" I clarify for my partner.
We both stare at the fleeing duo.
"Maybe he was just stronger?" Blake suggests.
"Blake, that was gravity dust I used." I point out.
We're both silent as Cyril and Ruby disappear into the distance. Left wondering how he moved, let alone rolled out of the field.
"Poor quality?" Blake suggests. "Maybe you should try switching brands?"
"Hmm." I hum as I point Myrtenaster at Blake's feet. A glyph appearing and consuming my gravity dust.
"Ah!" She exclaims as she collapses.
"As you can see the quality is not what's in question here." I correct her.
"As soon, as we get back." Blake grunts. "I'm getting, the water bottle."

Ruby Rose POV
.
'Come on!' I say impatiently to myself as I peek at Weiss and Cyril. 'Kiss!'
I have my camera ready and everything! Weiss doesn't have her heels and her tail is swaying as Cyril returns her hug.
Oh she's just so cute! I'm so jealous! Of her, and Cyril. He needs to pet the floof! It's right there!
Of course, Weiss once again gets cold feet. No pun intended. And leaves as soon as she spots me looking at her.
'Darn it!' I curse the camera shy girl. 'I just want a picture for the scrap book! Is that so much to ask!?'
Cyril is, understandably confused, and a little frustrated at Weiss's cold shoulder. But goes to bed without much more than a look. Not wanting to push Weiss into anything she's not ready for.
'Arrgh!' I curse internally. 'I have a girlfriend who won't do anything without an excuse, and a boyfriend who is entirely reactional!'
How do I speed things up? Hmm, think, think.
Idea!
Flipping through the black book under my pillow. I find the scene in chapter seven. I mean, I doubt it'll get that far. The end result is what I'm going for.
And besides, Cyril's asleep! Nothing'll happen.
.
.
-SLBR Dorms, 09/22, 7am-
.
.
Waking up with a yawn. My ears flick and stretch as Cyril's breathing remains steady.
Weiss is right. He is warm. That was one of the best sleeps I ever had!
"Ruby!" Weiss cries out.
"Hmm?" I open my eyes as I hold Cyril's arm to my chest. He's a natural cuddler. "Hey Weiss."
"D-don't just hey Weiss me!" She stammers. "W-what do you think you're doing!?"
"Waking up." I shrug.
"I-in Cyril's bed!?" Weiss stammers.
"What?" I ask. "We're dating. And it's not like we did anything. Just cuddle!"
"That's beside the point!" Weiss says as Blake walks past.
"I'm getting the first shower." She says before entering the bathroom and closing the door.
"Hmm?" Cyril groans as he wakes up.
"Hey Cyril!" I say, craning my head back to look up at him.
"Ruby, what are you doing?" He asks plainly.
"Just enjoying some innocent, nothing to be ashamed of intimacy with my pre-established romantic partner!" I say, hoping Weiss gets the message. "Because there's no need to be shy about it!"
"And, you didn't think to get my input on that?" He asks.
'Oh crud.' I think to myself. 'This is not how it happened in the book!'
"Ruby!" Weiss shouts. "You snuck into his bed!?"
'YOU'RE ONE TO TALK!'
"Well I wouldn't call it sneaking and it's not like well, we were any and um you, well it's just some harmless ack!" I bit my tongue!
"Ruby." Cyril says in a low, husky, almost angry voice. "You know what happens, when a boy and girl, sleep in the same bed, right?"
'Th-that sounds like something from the book.' I think worryingly.
"Well we were just -eep!" I squeak in surprise as Cyril pulls me in and rolls over on top of me. Hovering over me as he stares me down.
"Were you perhaps, hoping something would happen?" Cyril says in a low tone as I look to Weiss, who is peeking through her fingers, her tail straight and puffed out as she stutters something incoherently.
'Don't just watch this!' I cry out as my heart thumps.
"Hey now." Cyril says as he taps my chin, moving my head to meet his gaze. "It's just you and me, that's what you wanted, right?"
'This is too much like the book. Too much like the book!' I cry out. 'I'm not ready for this! I haven't had a shower, we haven't even had our first kiss yet!'
"Dy yo ahh haaii ya." I protest.
"This, is on you." He says with a smirk as I feel him shift in weight, my stomach burning as his knees rest against my hips.
I close my eyes. Resigned to my fate, I brought this on myself. Besides, there are, worse ways to have your first time. Just ask Uncle Qrow. And, I'm not entirely opposed to having it this way. I just, wish it was more romantic. And special. But, if he really wants to then, I-
"Thank you Weiss." Cyril says, causing me to snap my eyes open.
Cyril takes the water bottle from Weiss with a smile as he aims it at me.
"Bad!" Cyril says as he spritzes me. "Bad Ruby!"
"It wasn't suppose to be like this!" I scream as I cover my face.
This is nothing like the book!

Cyril Leon POV

Laying my head down and cursing everyone and everything in existence for existing. I take a deep breath and relax. Getting up and heading towards the comic book section for a nap.

Weiss Schnee POV
.
That lazy lout! He's just laying there, sleeping in a library!
"I have half a mind to kick you awake." I mutter out as I stare at him.
But that would be uncalled for. He's had a stressful day I'm sure. And, it would be, remiss of me to leave a teammate alone.

Cyril Leon POV

"And, I win." I say as I take Blake's piece, leaving her with two.
"How!?" She finally snaps.
This is our sixth game of Nine Men's Morris that I've won. In a row.
"I'm just good at the game." I shrug.
"You just learned how to play!?" She accuses. "This is bullshit!"
"No I didn't." I say with a raised brow. "I used to play this game all the time back home."
"But this is a Menagerian game." Blake stresses. "Who could've taught you?"
"A pirate captain named Edward Kenway." I shrug. "For about a year I played with him."
Blake just looks at me. Utterly baffled as to what I just said.
"A pirate captain." She says.
"Yes." I nod.
"I don't believe you." She says. "What's the name of his ship?"
"The Jackdaw, named after a pet bird he had as a boy." I answer.
"Who's his helmsmen?" She asks.
"He was his own, he preferred it that way." I say easily.
"What's he look like?" She tries further.
"A little taller than me as I am now, dirty blonde hair, lightly tanned, blue eyed, had a stubble, and a scar under his right eye. Blocky features." I answer her easily.
"Where's he from?" She asks.
" I couldn't tell you." I chuckle. "I was twelve."
"So, you just, know a pirate captain?" Blake asks.
" Knew, a pirate captain." I correct her. "His tale has, long since ended."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Blake apologizes.
"It's fine." I wave off. "He lived a full and interesting life."

A/N And thus, volume one is coming to an end. Next chapter, Monkey business.
.
Weiss has been trying to get her kisses in, every night. Problem is, Ruby is a light sleeper, and Weiss is still half way in her shell.
.
The funny thing about Ruby, is that she's always cheerful and confident, until something happens. Then she just collapses like a house of cards.
Like how she was showing off clothes for Cyril. She was all "I'm cute, I know!" Until he turned it around.
.
Daddy Winchester basically struck a compromise. Cardin receives mandatory therapy and is locked into graduating at half the Hunter grade he actually gets. Assuming he gets that far. Anymore incidents, and Team CRDL is disbanded.
