And back once again people, hope you were looking forward to this one, because I sure was, as something very special happens here that I'm sure a lot of you have been looking forward to.
I won't say more, but the chapter title should tell you all you need to know.
Let's go!
Never Stop Fighting! The Galactic Ragnamon!
"Hopefully the other guardians got the memo from TyrantKabuterimon by now." Emerald said, sitting next to Norn as the two overlooked a computer, tracking Black's movements on the screen.
"They probably did." Morphomon spoke up from the floor "And if Black still finds the stones, then at least TyrantKabuterimon agreed to give us their general area."
"Hopefully he doesn't manage to destroy any of the others." Norn said with a frown, before wincing a bit as she rubbed her forehead.
"You ok?" Emerald asked her in concern.
"Yeah… just been having a bit of a headache recently." Norn told her "Nothing too bad though."
"Try not to push yourself." Emerald told her, a hand on her shoulder, earning a smile from Norn as she nodded, before the two returned their attention to the screen.
Over at another computer, Weiss frowned as she looked at the screens, showing warped waves moving around on a grid "These distortions are rather weak at the moment… but they're strong enough to be making tears between the Digital World and Remnant more common still."
"They don't seem to be making the world too unstable though." Oren frowned from right next to her "There has to be something we're missing."
"Maybe, but right now we've got bigger things to worry about," Gyro frowned, referring to BlackWarGreymon X who was still on the loose and there was no telling if or when he'd go for another Holy Stone. It was for that reason they were having some of their group standing by inside the Digital World to be a first response if anything happens.
"Aside from him, there's another thing we noticed," Weiss said.
"Oh goody, what else is going on?" Yang groaned.
"Lionheart seems to have gone missing," Weiss reported.
"Lionheart going missing while we're in the middle of dealing with distortions? That sounds REALLY convenient," Hawkmon said dryly.
"Definitely sounds like whatever he's been up to, he's made his move," Tentomon agreed.
"Any clues where he might have gone?" Agumon asked. As much as BlackWarGreymon X was their bigger priority, they didn't want to completely ignore other issues either.
"Annoyingly, doesn't seem like it," Oren frowned. "Maybe we could find more if we dug a bit, but…"
"Yeah, we gotta be ready to move at any moment. Not exactly good for hacking work," Biyomon sighed.
"Speaking of which, how's the ground team doing?" Terriermon pointed out.
"It is about time we made contact again," Lopmon mused, before Oren opened up the comms again.
"How's the situation on your end?" Oren asked as Ruby's voice came through.
"So far…not so bad. Thanks to the second stone being broken the weather's gotten kind of bad," Ruby said. "But at least he hasn't gone for another stone yet," she reported. "So far doesn-" she cut off.
"Ruby, did something happen?" Weiss asked.
"Not really, but I'm pretty sure he knows that we're following him," Ruby said and they could already imagine the sweat drop she was sporting, seeing as there was no way they weren't keeping an eye on BlackWarGreymon X…via a scope.
"Well…as long as he's not picking a fight with us, I guess that's alright," Gyro sighed. "Still, continue to keep an eye on him. Hopefully he won't go after any more stones but we can't be sure."
"Will do." Ruby said "See you guys later!" and they then closed the connection.
In the Digital World, Ruby put down her scroll. "Okay, so we're gonna continue keeping an eye on him. He knows we're here, but that's not gonna stop us seeing as we won't do anything unless he starts going for a Holy Stone."
"Here's hoping considering he IS getting into the area of one," Blake frowned as true enough they were entering a jungle area, and according to the data they were provided, one of the Holy Stones had set itself here.
"I wonder who's guarding this one?" Bemmon mused, a claw tapping his chin.
"We'll find out when we meet them I guess." Veemon said with a shrug.
"We might wanna mosey along then. Maybe get to the stone ahead of Black to be better prepared." Rusty suggested.
"Good call." Pyrrha nodded in agreement.
"And we can confirm that the signal has been disabled as well." Ren added.
"Alright, let's go then guys!" Ruby said with a grin, before the group moved quickly, heading into the jungle, using the data they had to locate the Holy Stone… and they soon found what looked like an ancient altar in the center of the jungle, the Holy Stone visible, floating in the center of it as it looked like a stone tablet with a holy ring embedded into it.
And standing in front of the stone was a large, knight-like Digimon dressed in white armor with golden highlights, the helmet on its head looking like it was wearing some kind of hat with two long streamers coming out of it, a large, blooming flower on its right shoulder, a cape covering its left arm, and a large floral-themed spear held in its right hand.
"Woah… he looks pretty cool." Palmon said in slight awe.
Blake hummed as she activated the Analyzer "Apparently, that's BloomLordmon."
Digimon Analyzer: BloomLordmon
BloomLordmon. Vaccine Type. An Ultimate Level Fairy Digimon. A kind-hearted knight that fights to protect nature, none know what lies beneath his armor, though many believe him to be a plant based being. He can accumulate energy through a process similar to photosynthesis thanks to the flower on his shoulder, and is said to be powerful enough to rival even the Royal Knights in power. Special attacks are Sprout Rush, piercing the enemy with his spear in rapid succession, and Gran del Sol, firing a wide beam made of pure light from his spear once it finally blooms.
"The Chosen Children?" BloomLordmon said, noticing their presence. "So it seems my charge has the misfortune of being next."
"Well…not necessarily, but considering BlackWarGreymon X is in the area…we figured it'd be good to give you a heads up," Pierce said.
"We'd REALLY prefer it if he doesn't add another stone to his kill count," Wormmon sighed.
"Indeed, I have no intention of allowing my charge to be destroyed. Still there is no denying he is formidable, thus I trust I will have your assistance in this endeavor?" BloomLordmon sighed.
"You don't even need to ask," Pyrrha chuckled.
Meanwhile…
"A little bit here and…done," Nero smirked as he put the finishing touches on the device he was working on. "Not bad for a rush job," he smirked as he looked at the device. It looked like a car beeper of all things, yet he knew that if he played it right, it could well be the trump card he was looking for.
"So you really managed to isolate that signal?" Arukenimon mused.
Nero smirked a bit, before casually aiming it in a direction, and activating it for a split second.
"Yeowch!" came two shouts…followed by the sound of several things hitting the ground as his targets revealed to be Gazimon and Mummymon…who had been in the middle of a game of Jenga. Needless to say, both of them were glaring at him for messing up their game. "Hey, what was that for?!"
"Sorry, I needed a quick test and I volunteered you both," Nero snorted, before casually evading the block Gazimon tossed his way. "But in all seriousness, yes, I've isolated the frequency the Holy Stones emitted, and with luck, this may just be our key to putting that unruly Dark Tower Digimon to some semblance of good use."
"Okay, that's a good reason," Mummymon admitted begrudgingly. "But warn us next time at least."
"I would…but where's the fun in that?" Nero snorted, which earned him another block, which he once again evaded…only for the second 'shot' to bean him on the head. "Okay, I deserved that," he admitted. "At any rate, while he has been destroying the Stones for us, we can't assume he'll conveniently do so of his own volition forever. While a leash is a bit out of our hands for the moment…something to help point him in the right direction is a decent alternative."
"Plus those goodie two shoes Chosen keep trying to talk to him and make him a good guy." Gazimon added with an annoyed scowl "Betcha if you hadn't made me to be your perfect partner, they might have tried the same to me."
"Actually, I doubt that one." Arukenimon said "From what I know, at best they'd have just deleted you and hoped you would reincarnate without evil in your heart."
Gazimon was silent for a few moments at that, blinking "Well then…"
"Yes, my brother and his friends can be annoying to deal with, we know." Nero said with a roll of his eyes "Still, now that we can point a frenzied Black in their direction, things should get easier." he smirked.
At that moment, Raven came into the room, her cybernetic arms looking upgraded… and her outfit actually looked more battle practical now, though it still had a maid-like feel to it. At the moment a screen was flipped up on one of her arms, a small keyboard open in front of it as she tapped on it "Hey boss? I think you'll wanna see this." she said as she approached Nero, showing him the screen.
He hummed, one of his eyebrows rising… before he grinned when he saw Black to be approaching some of the Chosen… who were helping guard one of the Holy Stones "Well then… I do believe it's time for a field test."
Back with the group guarding the Holy Stone, now joining BloomLordmon was Rosemon, Seraphimon, and MetalGarurumon. Acting as an early warning system around the area was Ruby, Blake, and Rusty, all of them hiding amongst the trees in the perimeter, keeping an eye on if BlackWarGreymon X were to get too close, while Pyrrha was also using the radar to keep track of where he was.
The first to spot him was Blake, keeping quiet as she watched him just… walk aimlessly through the jungle, while talking to himself at that.
"Would these stones even give me a purpose if I destroy them?" he said, eyes narrowed in consideration "They said that if I destroy them all… it would be suicide. That I would destroy both the world and myself with it. Do I… do I really want that?"
Blake frowned a bit. It seemed that Black was in fact thinking about what they'd told him, and at this point it seemed almost as if going after the Holy Stones were a desperate plea for SOME kind of meaning. She couldn't help but feel like they really were starting to get through to him. Still, for now with the Holy Stone nearby, she didn't want to draw attention just yet. From the looks of it, Black was figuring it out well enough on his own.
Black continued to mutter, clearly having second thoughts here and there, but before he could come to something akin to a decision…
"Well now, funny seeing you here," came Nero's voice as he came out from behind one of the trees.
"Great…he's here," Blake frowned, quickly sending the message to the others. They'd be ready for trouble at least.
"What do you want?" Black glared at Nero who held up his hands disarmingly.
"Definitely not to pick a fight with you. I'm not stupid after all," he chuckled.
"Naw, we just wanna have a little chat." Gazimon said, suddenly leaning out from behind his partner's leg as he grinned.
Black glared at them, but the fact he didn't try to smite them then and there was basically telling them to say what they wanted to say.
"Well, we were in the area, and we figured you ought to know, there's a Holy Stone around these parts." Nero said with a grin.
"And you did such a wonderful job destroying the first two, we figured you'd like to keep the party going with another one!" Gazimon added with a grin.
"And what exactly makes you think I want to continue doing that?" Black growled. He didn't care much for his so-called creator one bit.
"Oh, probably that signal the stones keep sending out. They don't care much for people like us after all," Nero smirked a bit, his leg idly nudging Gazimon as if by accident. A moment after it did, both of them grit their teeth as they felt pain go through them, while Black also shouted in pain.
"T-this…!" he gasped.
Blake's eyes widened as she saw what was happening, before she quickly checked. The Holy Stone wasn't giving off its defensive signal, so there should be no reason for this to happen…and yet it was somehow. Something wasn't right here.
Back with the three, Black continued to roar in pain, before his eyes went feral as he took off sprinting towards the Holy Stone.
Gazimon groaned "Can we stop it now?" he muttered.
"As much as I want to, better not to in case he snaps out of it." Nero said with a frown, even as he winced, before holding up what Blake saw was an object that looked like a car beeper.
Blake's eyes narrowed at the sight, but she couldn't do anything about it right now…not while Black was making a beeline for the Holy Stone. She moved quickly yet silently, not wanting to draw Nero's attention if possible. Once she was far enough… "We have a problem. BlackWarGreymon X is coming your way. We're gonna have to fight, since it seems Nero's pulled another trick out of his bag," she quickly reported to the others.
The reactions she got from the others could be easily summed up as "Well, fuck!" as she ran faster once she was sure Nero couldn't hear her. The sound of fighting soon reached her ears as by the time she reached where the Holy Stone was, the fighting had already started.
Seraphimon, Rosemon, and MetalGarurumon were already helping BloomLordmon in trying to stop Black's progress, but as always…it wasn't easy. Taking advantage of the time they were buying though, Wormmon and Veemon quickly Warp Evolved into GrandisKuwagamon and UlforceVeedramon as they soon joined in, while Bemmon Armor Evolved into Vanguamon, allowing him to move around the battlefield quickly, while still staying within range of the Holy Stone, if nothing else to try and slow down Black in the event he broke through.
Likewise, their partners weren't idle either. Even if their shots weren't going to do too much damage, Ruby, Rusty, Pyrrha, and Pierce had already taken positions to try and shoot at Black, perhaps distract him just enough to give their partners an opening. Blake didn't hesitate as she quickly weaved into the fight, taking the chance to open fire on Black, the frenzied Digimon reacting on instinct…and giving Seraphimon an opening to give him a punch in the cheek. Who knew an angel had such a right hook.
Quickly rejoining the group, Blake took her position to help with the defenses.
"What the heck set him off?!" Pierce growled.
"You can thank Nero for that one," Blake said. "He was holding something that looked like one of those things you use on cars," she reported.
"So a car beeper?" Ruby blinked.
"Considering the Holy Stone hasn't done anything AND its Nero we're talking about, that's VERY suspicious," Pyrrha frowned.
"Got it, shooting the car beeper out of his hand first chance I get," Ruby nodded.
"Shooting his hand in the process is allowed too," Ren deadpanned.
"Considering what he's done…yeah, that's definitely on the table," Blake said dryly. "But for now, let's focus on stopping him."
"Right!" everyone nodded as they refocused their attention on Black.
Back with the fight, the Digimon were…actually holding Black back fairly well. While it was clear Black was stronger than them, after clashing with him several times, they'd started to get a good feel of how exactly Black fought, especially now that he was running on feral rage. They weren't really trying to fight him head on. They were instead using his power against him by shifting and adjusting momentum to generally keep him away from the Holy Stone. It helped too they had an experienced Digimon helping.
"Sprout Rush!" BloomLordmon declared as his attack struck Black, pushing him back following UlforceVeedramon and Rosemon grabbing him from two sides, holding him down for a moment. BloomLordmon's more methodical style of fighting was proving complementary to the strategy they were going for. The previous two fights made it very clear they couldn't beat Black going about it the normal way, so they had to play things smarter.
However, even then Black wasn't backing down. He kept fighting, and fighting, and if anything…it seemed like he was fighting even more viciously.
Thinking quickly, Ren took out his scroll and checked for odd signals. "I think Nero's turning up the force of his little invention," he frowned, seeing interference on the radar. "This won't end unless we do something about that."
Ruby frowned at that, thinking for a moment, before she nodded "I've got an idea." she said, grabbing her weapon, extending it into it's sniper mode as she ran out towards the nearby GrandisKuwagamon "Toss me! As high up as you can!"
GrandisKuwagamon blinked at her in surprise, before he nodded "Got it!" he said, holding a hand out as Ruby jumped onto it, before he tossed her skyward with as much strength as he could.
Once Ruby felt she was high up enough, she flipped around and spread her limbs out, slowing her fall as she looked around quickly, her eyes roving all over the area until-THERE!
She didn't hesitate, aiming Crescent Rose X towards him. It was tempting to just fire at something vital… but now wasn't the time, instead aiming for his hand where she saw the beeper-like object, the button held down, before she pulled the trigger, and was rewarded with seeing the object suddenly blow up in his hand, clearly shocking him as he jumped away as it did.
As soon as it did, Black's feral roar of rage stopped, the sanity returning to his eyes. With that done, he realized where he was and for a moment disengaged from the group, seemingly ending the fight. He looked around, noticing the Holy Stone and glared a bit. "So it seems my 'creator' was pulling tricks," he said, putting 2 and 2 together.
"So it would seem." BloomLordmon said "Now… shall you stop this fighting?"
Black looked down, seemingly considering that…before he raised his Dramon Killers in a way that was ready for battle. "No, I don't believe I will. Prepare yourselves," he said, and that was the only warning he gave before he charged forward, BloomLordmon quickly raising his spear, and catching the weapon, even if the force still pushed him back.
"Hey, what gives?!" UlforceVeedramon shouted in annoyance as he rammed into Black, sending him skidding away. "I thought you were having an epiphany or something!"
"I'll admit you were right about one thing. The Stones may not give me a purpose," Black said…before he charged forward again, quickly evading out of the way of a barrage from MetalGarurumon, before being temporarily stopped by GrandisKuwagamon who met his charge and just barely managed to slow it down.
A whip lashed out and pulled Black away from GrandisKuwagamon, before a Cocythus Breath covered him in a layer of ice…for now. "If you're done with the Stones, why keep fighting?!" MetalGarurumon growled.
"Because this is all I know to do!" Black roared as he shattered the ice with ease. "This is the only thing that gives me any modicum of purpose!"
Rusty grit his teeth, before he stepped out of his spot from behind a tree where he'd been taking potshots earlier "Then we'll keep pushing you back until you finally just stop!" he shouted up at Black "If all you care about is fighting, fighting and more fighting, then we won't stop until you finally just give it up! It's our duty to keep the Digital World safe, and if to do that we gotta put down a battle maniac, then it's what we'll do!" as he shouted up at him, he didn't notice his crest starting to glow in his clothes, the glow spreading over him as well "Because we'll never give up, until this world finally has the peace it deserves!" the light around him finally hit its peak, exploding into a pillar of bright light as his tag floated out of his clothes, before it shattered apart, the crest itself flowing into him before the light all gathered into his hand as he stared at it in wonder. "What the…?"
"Strike your Digivice with it! It'll let Bemmon Warp Evolve to Ultimate!" Pierce shouted at him, snapping him out of it as he nodded before doing just that, holding his digivice between his hands as the light flowed into it, causing it to change into a D-Crest just like the others, a moss green grip on each side as he held it in his hand, Vanguamon approaching him as he returned to Bemmon, the two looking at each other before sharing a smirk.
"Ready partner?" Rusty asked him.
"Always." Bemmon nodded, before he took a running start and leaped upwards as Rusty aimed his brand new D-Crest at him right as it started to glow.
(Play Brave Heart)
The image of the Crest of Determination appeared on the glass covering of the D-Crest, before a massive blast of light shot from the D-Crest, sending the Crest flying into Bemmon, his body turning into the same color as the Crest.
"Bemmon, Warp Evolution!" Bemmon called out as he did a backflip, followed by a beam of light shooting out of him. The beam soon revealed Snatchmon, who turned and released another beam of light revealing Destromon who soon did the same, before a new form was revealed. A giant serpentine dragon flew through space, going straight for a high tech gleaming white space station ahead of him. As he approached, the station broke apart, before the pieces aligned over him and started to attach to him, becoming a sort of armor, with several cannons and other artillery visible all over it, including one giant cannon in the center of his chest, while a shuttle floating through space flew to him and attached over his right arm, a set of large pincers coming out of it now, while the tip of his tail flashed by, appearing almost like a high tech spear of some kind, the Crest of Determination visible on it, as his lone eye appeared on a black screen attached to the helmet covering his head. "Ragnamon!"
"Huh? Where'd he go?" Pierce asked as when the light subsided, Bemmon had seemingly vanished. Then the shadow started to fall over the battlefield, and everyone looked up and well…
"Wow…big…" was all Ruby could say at the sheer size of the new Digimon.
Digimon Analyzer: Ragnamon
Ragnamon. Virus Type. An Ultimate Level Unknown Digimon. One of the largest Digimon due to containing data from a space station, he possesses a variety of satellite weapons that are powerful enough to burn away vast quantities of land. Most of these weapons however require too much energy for him to operate on his own, requiring an external power source to truly unleash his full power. Special attacks are Gimlet Gun, piercing the opponent with his extremely fast tail, and Ragnarok Cannon, essentially the same attack as the Juggernaut Cannon of his previous form, but much more powerful.
Black looked at Ragnamon and narrowed his eyes. "Interesting. Perhaps you will prove a worthy battle!" he said as he charged forward, lashing out with his Dramon Killers. However, Ragnamon quickly raised his arm and stopped the attack seemingly with relative ease.
"Sorry, I'm not here to entertain you. I'm here to make sure the troubles you're causing this world end one way or another," Ragnamon growled before he pushed back, and forced Black back briefly.
Black stopped himself in midair, before flying ahead again with a roar, eager for battle, as Ragnamon moved his tail about quickly "Gimlet Gun!" and suddenly rained down an onslaught of rapid thrusts at Black who dodged and weaved through most of them, taking several glancing blows.
"Dramon Killer!" Black snarled as he lashed out with rapid strikes. Ragnamon quickly blocked them again, but Black wasn't just blindly attacking, allowing him to land a few hits, which Ragnamon felt even with his larger size and armor. Proof that even with this Evolution, Black wasn't one to be trifled with. However, for now he weathered the assault, but the moment he saw an opening, he lashed out with another Gimlet Gun, taking advantage of the range they were at the land several strikes on Black, one particular strike cutting rather deep, forcing Black to back off while holding the wound he'd just been dealt. When he pulled his hand away from it, black blood seemed to be seeping out of the wound.
"Well… that's freaky." Rusty said with a grimace.
"Eh, I've seen worse." Pierce said with a shrug.
"You're kidding." Pyrrha said incredulously.
"I'm REALLY not. When you've seen some of Junji Ito's works, you've seen some really messed up shit." Pierce said with a nervous laugh.
"Okay, uncomfortable topics aside, shouldn't we help him?" BloomLordmon pointed out.
Everyone looked at the fight again, just in time to see the two clashing again…and from the looks of it Ragnamon was holding up pretty well. "...let's wait and see first," GrandisKuwagamon said. Mostly because Ragnamon was holding his own well enough, and joining in would probably work better If they did so at a better timing than this.
As for the fight, indeed the two were going more or less toe to toe. Black was faster, but Ragnamon's size and armor made it harder for Black to deal significant damage. "What is this power?" Black growled as he was forced back.
"This is the power we get from never giving up, fighting for what's right. We're never backing down from doing what we have to!" Ragnamon said, pushing him back further.
"Is that so?" Black glared. "In that case, show me just how far that takes you! Hades Force!" he roared as he gathered a great deal of power, ready to hurl the fully charged attack at Ragnamon.
Ragnamon glared at the attack before countering. "Ragnarok Cannon!" he called out as the cannon on his body charged up and fired. The two attacks met head on, both fighting for supremacy, while the shockwaves the clash was creating were shaking the area. Everyone braced to avoid being knocked away, and in the chaos nobody really noticed how the clashing energies were getting greater and greater…before it hit a critical point.
(End song)
The energies started to go out of control, and in that split second before it hit the tipping point, everyone finally noticed…and their eyes widened. However, right as the explosion came, the Holy Stone suddenly glowed. The explosion that followed was violent and lit up the sky with a bright light and deafening noise, while the force and flames washed over the area, with the ones at ground zero being thrown back, with Ragnamon finding himself smashing into what felt like a wall, which he realized was some kind of barrier. Though he couldn't think further on it as the force was still happening, and it was his level and armor that stopped the worst of the damage from getting to him. Still hurt like heck though. As such, when the explosive force finally ended, he ended up reverting to Bugmon and fell through the barrier…which was breaking apart.
Rusty was quick to catch his partner. "You okay, Bugmon?"
"I'll live. Never want to do THAT again though," Bugmon groaned.
"Speaking of which, what was that barrier?" Pyrrha asked.
"That is another function of the Holy Stone," BloomLordmon said. "Both to protect itself and the area its in," he explained, before he frowned. "However…with that force…" he trailed off as he looked to the stone. At first it looked alright, but as the barrier broke down, cracks started forming on the stone, and right before everyone's eyes, it crumbled by itself. "...it truly was too much for my charge," he sighed sadly.
"I… that's our fault." Rusty said with a frown, his hat shadowing his eyes, while Bugmon's lone eye closed sadly.
"Hey… what's going on right now?" UlforceVeedramon said as he reverted back to Veemon alongside the other Digimon, the group looking up to see a heavy distortion in the air, as if a tear in space was opening up suddenly. A form became visible, revealing a large mechanical-looking being that seemed to look like a floating white robe made purely out of metal, the head bearing a strange red visor on its 'face' with large shoulder pads jutting out from next to it.
"What's that?" Palmon asked, having reverted from Rosemon.
"Why is Lord Yggdrasil's combat body appearing here?" BloomLordmon said in surprise.
"Combat body?" Gabumon blinked, before remembering the last time they saw Yggdrasil. "Guess having a body for battle would make sense," he frowned.
"Though…doesn't it seem like he's in pain?" Wormmon said, as true enough while the body was rather expressionless, its movements seemed to imply it feeling pain for some reason.
"The distortions…it has to be because of them," Ren frowned. However, before they could think of it further, the tear closed, as Yggdrasil's combat body vanished from sight.
"Hopefully that didn't hurt him too much." Ruby said with a frown.
"Lord Yggdrasil should be able to handle it." BloomLordmon said, before he looked over at Black, who was still floating in the air, staring at where the tear used to be "Still… we'll have to make sure he can't destroy any other stones." he added, as Black turned and started flying away.
As he did, he kept thinking back on Rusty's and Ragnamon's words, eyes narrowed in thought "To fight for what is right… but what IS right for me?" he wondered while flying, before he remembered the tear, and the being he saw within "That being… they seemed powerful… maybe… finally…" he said, before his eyes gained a determined glint as he started flying faster.
Back with the group, they'd started walking out of the jungle after BloomLordmon left to group up with some of the other guardians, and as they left the trees behind, they paused as Pyrrha's scroll started ringing and she pulled it out while putting it on speaker phone when she saw it was Weiss. "Hello?"
"Guys! It's Norn! She just collapsed all of a sudden!"
Yeahp, finally time for one of the new Ultimates to appear and what an appearance it was.
Considering how big Ragnamon was as the final boss of World 3, we felt it should be fitting that this Ragnamon also be utterly massive, to the point that Black can't push him around as easily as everyone else.
As well, the third Old Chosen partner has debued, BloomLordmon.
We've actually got a bit of a theme we picked out for the old chosen partners, I wonder if you'll all figure it out?
And, of course, that final bit at the end there.
If you know, you know.
Anyway, we hope you enjoyed, because...
The Adventure Evolves.
