And we're back once again with another chapter!

Yeahp, this time we're continuing straight.

No shifting back to the main story, this is gonna be all Pierce until his quest is over.

So with that said, let's dive right in!

Miracle Quest - Part 2

"You know…when this all started I kind of thought we'd be having a harder time…" Annette sweat dropped. The reason? They were sitting in a house on the 10th floor. People barely had time to set up shops in the lower floors as Pierce and Veemon just kept clearing the road ahead with brute force.

The fact that the Boss of the 9th Floor had been a big Wendigomon hadn't fazed them either, they'd just kicked his butt without worry.

"Yeah, well, I'm straight up cheating, so unlike with SAO, we should be out of here in… I guess a couple of months at best." Pierce said with a sigh as he flopped down on a bed "Fuck I hope the others are alright… it's already been over a week… Yang's probably worried sick by now."

"Your girlfriend, right?" Annette asked him. She'd been… well, just a tiny bit disappointed that he was seeing someone already.

And then she found out just what his age was and she almost slapped herself since she was close to 30 herself. Still…she also admired him soldiering on despite the situation he found himself in. So she decided she'd stick with him. "Well…since we're on the 10th floor, we can start looking for the floor boss. Though…if I recall there was something else here too…" she mused.

"Hm?" Pierce and Veemon blinked, attention on her.

"Well…I recall that this floor has a Digimental Temple on it. If we can find it, then I'm sure the Digimentals in there will be helpful to us," Annette explained.

"Digimentals too huh? First Spiral Mountain and now those." Veemon snorted at that.

"Well, the game WAS designed based on more than one season. So it was a bit of a mish mash of elements from the entire series," Annette sweat dropped. "Though… on the subject of Spiral Mountain…"

"Yeah, you've been chomping at the bit on that one haven't you?" Pierce snorted, turning to her "Ask away."

"What were your Dark Masters like?" she asked quickly.

"Well, MetalSeadramon was a bastard that's for sure, killed Whamon and that triggered Ruby's Silver Eyes, the flash blinded him enough he crashed, and then he ended up facing WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Rosemon and Phoenixmon… he did NOT have a good time being ganged up on by four ultimates. Whamon DID come back though after Yggdrasil reformatted the Digital World to fix it up, and now he's KingWhamon."

"That's… dang you really trashed him then. All it took in canon was WarGreymon drilling through him." Annette noted.

"Yeesh." Veemon winced "Well, after that, it was Puppetmon, and he just warped us all around all over the place, Digimon and partners alike, until Ren managed to kill him… even ripped out some of his gears using his father's knife from what Wormmon's said."

"Man you guys really had it bad huh?" Annette noted.

"Yeah, doesn't help MetalEtemon popped up during all that too, almost killed Leomon too if it hadn't been for Jaune awakening his Semblance and managing to save him while they shattered MetalEtemon to pieces with a beat of freezing and heating." Pierce said, before frowning "After that… we had to deal with Machinedramon… bastard. We were hiding through a massive city, in a copy of Weiss's manor since the Digital World has data from Earth and Remnant, and her family is famous enough for that data to get pulled in I guess, and on top of that were running around trying to find medicine for Ruby since she was running a fever. Then we fought Machinedramon himself and he managed to kill GrandLocomon, and even just fighting him was annoying because he had an Adamantium coating, Pyrrha KOed herself ripping it off him with her polarity semblance."

Her jaw dropped at that "That's… holy shit! And that was Machinedramon… how'd you handle Piedmon?"

"With difficulty." Veemon sighed "First, Witchmon, one of Myotismon's followers, ended up actually working for Piedmon, and she evolved into LadyDevimon to fight us while we ALSO had to deal with Mephistomon, then Angewomon managed to delete her and absorbed her data, and after a bit of an accident, she evolved into Mastemon, kicked Mephistomon's butt, and Piedmon came out to face us. We rushed on in after a bit and things were going well for us… until he revealed that a stone that Myotismon had been carrying was actually a trap that stole data from him, and he absorbed it to slide evolve into BoltBoutamon and really gave us a run for our money until Patamon managed to warp into Seraphimon."

Annette was staring at the two with wide eyes "Holy shit… that's… yeah, you definitely had one hell of a fight."

"I'm guessing the Piedmon you know about was easier to face," Pierce chuckled.

"Oh yeah, considering the version of the Chosen Children I saw only had two Ultimates. WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. Everyone else was stuck at Perfect level. Piedmon was basically taken out by being sucked into HolyAngemon's Heaven's Gate," Annette sweat dropped.

Pierce and Veemon both sweat dropped at that "The Chosen from the anime were basically playing on Normal while we got stuck on Hard."

"Yeah…sounds about right…" Annette sweat dropped. "So…want to start looking around for the Digimental Temple first?"

"Sounds like a plan," the two of them shrugged.

"Kind of funny how they shuffle the locales each floor," Pierce said as they walked through the urban environment, as this floor was modeled after Machinedramon's area.

"Well, Spiral Mountain only had 4 different areas…though a part of me kind of wishes they'd added more than just those 4. The Digital World is like…REALLY diverse," Annette chuckled.

"Yeah, I oughta know. I've been there after all. Plus Emerald went to Folder, and we're planning on checking out WWW one day since it's the territory of the Olympos 12." Pierce said conversationally.

"Ok, THAT bit surprises me." Annette admitted "In the lore we've got, the Olympos 12 are from a whole other Digital World called Illiad, and the WWW continent only ever existed in the older games."

"Other worlds are weird then," Veemon snorted. "Anyway, any ideas where the Temple is, or do you only know its supposed to be on this floor?"

"The Guides available DID go to the 25th floor, so assuming the Temple wasn't moved, it should be in this area," Annette said, pulling up a map. "Right around… there." she said, tapping a spot on her map, setting up a waypoint there, and since she'd made an official party with him, the waypoint showed up for both of them.

"Well, let's go then. What Digimentals will we find there anyway?" Pierce asked her as they started walking.

"According to the guides, Floor 10 has the Digimentals of Courage and Friendship. Entering the temple is supposed to trigger a quest that makes it so you can only pick one of them, so you're locked out of the other one." she explained.

"So either Gyro or Pyrrha's one huh?" Pierce mused "For Agumon and Gabumon it turned them into a raptor and a wolf respectively, both able to be mounts for their partners."

"Well… I know what they do to Veemon if you wanna know." she said "In the anime, the one that showed up there got to use both Courage and Friendship."

"Ooooh, tell us!" Veemon said with a grin, eager to find out.

"Well, Courage should turn you into Flamedramon, which is bipedal and about as tall as an adult man, and Friendship should turn you into Lighdramon, though it's sometimes been pronounced Raidramon, but recently the fanbase started using the first one because of another mon." she said in amusement "It's a quadruped and super fast, so that one could actually be used as a mount."

"Hm…definitely seems like Friendship would be the more useful one at first glance," Pierce mused. "Well, let's worry about that after we get there," he shrugged as they moved towards the waypoint. Along the way they encountered a few enemy Digimon, though those didn't prove much of an issue, with Pierce and Veemon even being able to leave some to Annette and her team, seeing as during their rapid ascent, Annette had taken the opportunity to tame a few more Digimon so she had more than just her Floramon, or rather Kiwimon as it had already evolved by this point. Either way, there was little to obstruct their paths as they made their way to the Temple. When they reached the waypoint…

"...why do I feel like my brother and friend have just been insulted?" Pierce said dryly.

"Because the 'Temple' is a ratty old apartment?" Annette guessed as true enough, the 'Temple' in question really was an abandoned apartment building, with the Crests of Courage and Friendship spray painted on the wall like some cheap graffiti.

"Yeah." he said with a sigh "Anyway, how do we do this?"

"Well, we're supposed to receive a quest by stepping inside that'll let us take one of the Digimentals." she explained, opening the doors and stepping inside with him and Veemon, not surprised when an alert popped up in her vision… but…

"No quest here." Pierce said "Might be because I'm not really a player and actually more like an NPC."

"I think at this point you're more like an out of the system AI," Annette commented. "Only you're trying to stop the Death Game rather than cause it."

"...was that a .Hack reference?" Pierce snorted.

"Pretty much yeah," Annette chuckled. "Still if you don't get the Quest then…I guess we just walk in and see what happens."

"That works," Veemon shrugged as they continued onward all the same. The inside of the 'temple' despite the urban decor was at least fitting its name. They had to deal with various enemies roaming around…as well as more than a few traps. Including a good old rolling boulder trap…which Veemon just headbutted to pieces. "Points for the classics, but do they REALLY think that's gonna stop a Digimon?"

"Well…technically the Digimon programs in the game can't attack anything other than players and NPCs…so you literally did what no other player would be able to," Annette sweat dropped.

"Huh…lucky us then," Pierce chuckled as they continued onward, till they reached what was obviously the doors to where the Digimental was being held. The reason they knew? The Greymon and Garurumon guarding the door that were clearly a dual boss.

"So… how are we doing this?" Veemon asked.

"I've got Garurumon, you guys handle Greymon? I think I've helped you grind enough levels you can do it with some support from Veemon." Pierce said as he looked to Annette.

"Sure thing." she said, loading her party from her in-game digivice, releasing Kiwimon, Parasaurmon and Kuwagamon.

"Now then…" Pierce started, grinning as he drew Pandora X, before leaping at the Garurumon "Heel boy!"

"Seriously?" Annette said dryly while Veemon snickered as Pierce hit the Garurumon on the head.

Meanwhile…

"This is ridiculous!" came the voice of Akiyoshi as he was standing in a nondescript room, several 'holographic' monitors and keyboards floating around him as he worked on them, bringing up various images from throughout the game server. "Nobody should have reached the 10th floor until the month was over, but somehow someone's been clearing the floors once per day!"

"Even the beta testers shouldn't have been this fast dammit, I raised the HP pools on the bosses so the fights would be longer than what they remembered!" he added in annoyance, before starting to tap on one of the keyboards "So who is it dammit?!" He went over the records, and saw the image of the Players who had defeated the Bosses on each floor…and noticed that indeed they were all done by the same party, but based on the recordings…it was the male player that was doing the heavy lifting. Quickly trying to find their player ID though…

"The fuck do you mean 'No Data'?!" Akiyoshi said incredulously "He's right there! I should be able to scan him to get his player profile!"

With that he tried again…and again…and again. All came up zilch. "The heck is going on here?! I programmed this entire system, there shouldn't be any players that are unregistered!" he growled.

And then his eye twitched when he noticed one of the pictures of the player defeating the Floor 9 boss "And how the hell does he have a Veemon?! I didn't program them into the game, they're too freaking OP with all those possible evolutions!"

He kept grumbling a bit, before he noticed an alert "Huh? Ah, a quest triggered at the Digimental Temple… along with a bug?" he said in confusion, before getting a live feed… and his eyes widened at what he saw "You've gotta be shitting me! He's there now?!"

And on the live feed, he saw the mystery player utterly trouncing the Garurumon of the boss pair, while the other player, whom he identified as a woman called Annette Greenfield, was fighting the Greymon with her party… and the mystery player's Veemon.

And the mystery player was…

"Come here fido! Play dead!" he shouted as he slammed the bottom of his naginata on Garurumon's head, causing it to hit the floor in a daze "Good boy!"

He was being VERY annoying in his own opinion. "Okay that does it, I don't know who this guy is, but I'm done with him messing up my game!" Akiyoshi glared, before he started working on the console, modifying the parameters of the two Bosses.

Back in the fight, the Greymon and Garurumon suddenly glowed brightly.

"Are Bosses supposed to do that? Some kind of phase change?" Pierce asked, quickly jumping back a bit from Garurumon.

"Uh… only when they evolve… which I really hope they aren't." Annette said in worry, only to sigh in relief when Greymon and Garurumon only got a bit bigger. "Okay…that's not so bad…but they're still not supposed to do that…"

"Guess we've been thrown a curveball," Pierce shrugged, though what he didn't say was that he had a feeling that the one behind this sick game had caused this. After all…he highly doubted he'd take kindly to them messing up his 'game' with how fast they're clearing floors. "Same plan as before or switch it up?"

"I think we can handle it," Annette said, checking her team. They were all still in good condition. "Let's do this," she said as her team charged forward again. They all opened fire on Greymon, and while Greymon WAS taking damage…it wasn't as much as it was before. Greymon of course didn't seem to care much for that, and countered with a powerful swing of its tail, hitting her team and knocking them back. "It's gotten a lot stronger!" she gasped as her teams' HP were dropping rapidly.

"Same with Garurumon!" Pierce reported, having faced Garurumon and found that yes, the Digimon was stronger than it was before. However, that just meant he had to end this quickly. Quickly kicking off of Garurumon, he landed a short distance away, making sure to keep Garurumon's attention on himself and not letting it focus on the others who were busy fighting Greymon. Good thing these things didn't behave like real Digimon and actually had a tendency to focus on a single target, or at least targets based on their AI. That was why it was easy enough to bait it into a spot, Pierce quickly dodging a Fox Fire, and using some shots to bait the Garurumon to charge at him, allowing him to jump up, before rebounding from the wall, going straight for Garurumon…and plunging Pandora X right into its forehead. The moment he did, the Garurumon froze up as its body glitched and promptly burst into data.

"Huh, glad to know Fatal Strikes work on Bosses too," Pierce mused.

"Good to know! Can you do one on Greymon too?!" Annette gasped as she evaded a Mega Flame, her Digimon nowhere to be seen as they'd taken too much damage and retreated to her Digivice, with Veemon running interference, keeping the brunt of Greymon's attention on him.

"I got this one!" Veemon said "Pierce! Pass!" he said, running towards Greymon with a hand held up.

Pierce grinned, before throwing Pandora X towards Veemon, who caught it, spinning it around a bit before slamming the bottom into the ground, launching himself in the air, over Greymon's head before slamming it down, the blade managing to pierce through the helmet as Greymon froze, glitching a bit before he disappeared.

"Holy shit what's that thing made out of?!" Annette asked in shock.

"Chrome Digizoid." Pierce said as Veemon passed it back to him when they high fived.

Annette stared at him in shock "You have a chrome digizoid weapon?! That's something that, in-game at least, shouldn't be available till after Floor 50 if people are right!"

"Yeah well, perks of not being from around here." Pierce said with a chuckle "Everyone in the group has a chrome digizoid mechashift weapon back home." he said, demonstrating as he turned Pandora first into a shotgun, then into a flamethrower, before going back to normal as he put it on his back.

"...by the standards of the anime, your team would be overkill," Annette deadpanned.

"No kill like overkill!" both Pierce and Veemon shot back with amused looks, earning a chuckle and shake of the head from Annette.

"Well, now that that's taken care of, we should get the Digimental," Annette said, the group soon moving into the next room. Like the rest of the room, it was…an urban take on a temple, with a pair of rough pedestals, sitting on them were the Digimentals of Courage and Friendship. "According to the data, even if you clear a temple, you're only allowed to take one…but with how weird things have been with you around…I honestly can't say for sure," Annette added.

"Yeah…" he said with a nod, staring at the two digimentals, identical to the ones Gyro and Pyrrha had, before he turned to Annette "You pick first, just in case me doing it removes them or something."

She blinked at that "Oh yeah, good point." she said, stepping forward and thinking for a few moments, before eventually reaching towards the Digimental of Friendship, a blue light leaving it and entering her "There we go. No clue if it'll work on any of the mon I have… and I doubt it can just make original Digimon either." she said "Your turn."

He nodded, stepping forward with Veemon next to him, the two sharing a look, before they grinned, grabbing the two Digimentals at the same time and pulling them off their pedestals "Yoink!" they said, earning a snort from Annette, before she watched in surprise as the two Digimentals glowed before turning into light, flying into Pierce's scroll as he pulled it out "So… digimentals become apps on your smartphone basically?" she asked as he gained two new icons, one with the crest of courage and one with the crest of friendship.

"Basically. It's the same for all of us really. Let's us store the Digimentals easily. Plus we tested, and we don't need our Digivices to be anywhere nearby to trigger an armor evolution, so this SHOULD work even though it's broken right now." he explained, looking at his Digivice which had healed at least a little bit in the last week.

"Glad to hear that," Annette nodded. "Want to test it out?"

"Sure, let's get out of here first," Pierce chuckled.

"You have GOT to be kidding me! That was NOT in the program!" Akiyoshi growled, seeing Pierce take two Digimentals rather than only one. "That does it, I don't know who this guy is, or how he got into the game, but he's going to be going out of the game one way or another!" he glared as he began typing away, the systems starting to generate something.

"Right, let's see what these can do." Pierce said as they stepped out of the 'temple', Veemon hopping in excitement.

"Trust me, I think you're gonna like them." Annette said in amusement.

Right before Pierce could press on one of the new icons though, something crashed into the ground just a bit ahead of them, kicking up a large dust cloud and causing the ground to shake.

"What is that?!" Annette gasped in alarm, while Pierce and Veemon were immediately on guard. The dust quickly settled and…

"Shit! Annette, get out of here! This is going to be WAY too dangerous for you!" Pierce shouted, as the figure soon revealed to be a BlackMetalGreymon, and even he and Veemon could tell this wasn't something that should be here out of the blue. If it was, someone would have definitely said something and Annette would have spoken up.

Annette gasped, but quickly regained her wits as she turned tail and ran. She didn't feel good leaving Pierce and Veemon alone…but she also knew that this…this wasn't right. This was definitely beyond what she could handle. She just had to trust that the two of them could handle it.

With her gone, Pierce and Veemon looked at the BlackMetalGreymon which looked down at the menacingly. "I think this just about confirms the guy running this show doesn't want us around," Pierce frowned.

"No surprise there. We've kind of been messing with his game," Veemon snorted. "Not that this is gonna stop us of course."

"Damn straight," Pierce grinned as he took out Pandora X as well as looking at his Scroll. "Time to test this out! Digimental Up!" he called out, pressing the icon for the Digimental of Courage.

(Play 'Break Up')

The familiar black void appeared as the Crest of Courage spun, before moving back as Veemon and the Digimental appeared, both spinning around as well before the three settled into a triangular formation. "Veemon, Armor Evolution!" Veemon called out as the three came together, before Veemon burst into flames, the flames covering him and soon shifting into a taller figure while behind him a faded image of Agumon appeared before being replaced by Greymon, then MetalGreymon, and finally WarGreymon. The flames quickly parted, revealing the new Digimon. Much like Magnamon, his body was clearly that of Veemon stretched out to the height of an adult, covered in red armor with a flame pattern on his torso, knees, feet, hands and head, three large claws coming out of each extremity, while a horn came out of the helmet just above his snout "Blazing Courage! Flamedramon!"

Digimon Analyzer: Flamedramon

Flamedramon. Vaccine Type. An Armor Level Dragon Man Digimon. A Veemon that evolved through the power of the Digimental of Courage, granting him natural control over flames. Digimon that don the power of this Digimental find their fighting abilities rising like a blaze, being able to fight enemies with powerful abilities. His special attacks are Knuckle Fire, punching out fireballs from his fists, and Fire Rocket, coating himself in flames as he rushes at the enemy.

"Looking good, Flamedramon," Pierce grinned.

"Feeling good too," Flamedramon grinned back before both of them quickly evaded a trident Arm from BlackMetalGreymon. "Let's see how well this form works! Knuckle Fire!" he called out, firing several fireballs which impacted BlackMetalGreymon, causing it to recoil a little, but ultimately still seem fine overall.

"Armor's pretty tough. No surprise there," Pierce frowned as he opened fire on the BlackMetalGreymon, causing it to briefly shift attention to him. The moment it did…

"Fire Rocket!" Flamedramon called out, igniting his body and ramming into BlackMetalGreymon right in the chin, causing it to reel back from the impact as Flamedramon flipped back and landed next to Pierce. "Liking this form so far. Definitely landing some good hits," he grinned…right as BlackMetalGreymon roared in anger.

"Unfortunately it doesn't look like we're landing good enough hits," Pierce frowned. "Try to aim for a Fatal Hit!" he added as the two of them quickly went on the offensive. They took full advantage of being smaller and faster to pepper BlackMetalGreymon with shots, aiming for various vital spots, but each time they hit, while they WERE whittling down the HP Bar, they weren't landing any fatal hits. At the rate things were going, they were going to be at this for a while. "Okay, time for a change of strategy! Time to try out the other Digimental!" he decided, before quickly firing a flare right at BlackMetalGreymon's eyes, causing it to reel back, stunned by the sudden flash.

With that opening made, Flamedramon quickly reverted to Veemon, allowing Pierce to bring up and select the Digimental of Friendship.

"Digimental Up!" Pierce declared again as the Digimental activated.

The void appeared once again, this time with the Crest of Friendship spinning in the void, followed by Veemon and the Digimental of Friendship. "Veemon, Armor Evolution!" he called out as the three joined together, before a bright flash followed by electric blue energy appeared, in the background was a faded image of Gabumon, before the image was replaced by Garurumon, then WereGarurumon, and finally MetalGarurumon, before the energy receded, revealing the new form. Unlike Flamedramon, it was a quadruped, covered in black armor almost everywhere save for its tail, neck and the lower half of its head, a lightning bolt shaped horn on its snout, and three large jagged spikes on its upper back "Thunderous Friendship! Lighdramon!"

Digimon Analyzer: Lighdramon

Lighdramon. Vaccine Type. An Armor Level Beast Digimon. A Veemon that evolved through the power of the Digimental of Friendship, gaining power over electricity thanks to it. Digimon that don the power of this Digimental will gain the ability to manipulate electricity in all its forms, as well as become far more agile than they were before. Special attacks are Lightning Blade, firing a blade shaped blast of electricity from his horn, and Blue Thunder, firing off a powerful electric shock from the spikes on his back.

"Okay, this might work," Lighdramon grinned. "Let's start with this! Blue Thunder!" he called out, firing the attack which hit BlackMetalGreymon as it was recovering. Unlike with Flamedramon, this attack was doing notably more damage as evident by the health bar lowering more.

"Huh, its working better than before," Pierce blinked…before he facepalmed. "Oh. Of course. Cyborg Digimon…electricity…of course it's more effective."

"Yeah…we probably should have guessed that sooner," Lighdramon sweatdropped. Of course neither of them could dwell on the little oversight as they quickly had to get out of the way as BlackMetalGreymon used its Giga Destroyer. The two of them avoided the worst of it, but the shockwave from the explosion knocked them back further than they intended. BlackMetalGreymon quickly focused its attention on Pierce, causing Lighdramon's eyes to widen before he dashed over. "Grab on!" he called out as Pierce saw him and quickly did as he was told.

"I see what Annette was talking about," Pierce couldn't help but say as he quickly got on Lighdramon's back, noting a pair of indents on the armor which were perfect to grab on to.

"Just hold on tight!" Lighdramon said as they were evading more and more of BlackMetalGreymon's attacks, the Perfect tearing up the area quite badly at this point. Lighdramon peppered BlackMetalGreymon with more attacks, but like before, they were still going to take a while.

However, as the fight went on, Pierce was keeping an eye on BlackMetalGreymon's pattern so to speak. Being an NPC, it had to have some kind of pattern, and he was quickly formulating a plan. "Okay, hit it one more time, then get around it and hold still for a bit," he said.

"You got a plan?" Lighdramon checked.

"A bit of a crazy one, but if it works, we'll beat it for sure. We're gonna hit it right before it uses Giga Destroyer," he said, readying Pandora X. "And I just got a really cool idea how to do it," he added as he shifted it to its drill spear mode, then whispered something into Lighdramon's ear.

"Okay, we HAVE to do that," Lighdramon grinned.

"Knew you'd agree with me." Pierce grinned widely as he started pumping aura into his weapon in preparation.

Lighdramon continued moving, quickly striking at BlackMetalGreymon a few times when they got close, whittling away at its HP bar. The more damage they did the better honestly. Eventually, they bounded off of BlackMetalGreymon and got to a distance, the enemy glaring at them as they remained tense and ready.

As they were expecting, BlackMetalGreymon opened up its chest compartment for a Giga Destroyer…and the two were ready.

"Now!" Pierce shouted, as Lighdramon grinned and charged up some lightning, before releasing it… right into Pierce's weapon as he pumped more aura into it, creating a large, spinning blue energy drill projection at the tip as he started running straight at BlackMetalGreymon.

The two kept pouring energy in, making the drill projection grow bigger and bigger, and before long…they couldn't help themselves. "Giga…Drill…BREAK!" they roared together, as the giant drill rammed right into BlackMetalGreymon, drilling into the opening and hitting as well as destroying the missiles while still in it. The end result…doesn't need to be said, especially when the strike was so well timed…Pierce and Lighdramon proceeded to drill right THROUGH BlackMetalGreymon, ending up behind it before it exploded into a mix of fire and data.

(Theme end)

Akiyoshi slammed a fist into the console as the screen was glitching uncontrollably from the backlash of the BlackMetalGreymon's destruction. "WHAT IS THIS BULLSHIT?!" he roared. That…that should have been impossible. He'd made the BlackMetalGreymon to be stronger than the normal parameters, meaning it should have killed them, but not only did they defeat it, they did so by way of a technique that was definitely NOT in the system. That meant only one thing…

"This guy is a hacker. I don't know how he did it, but he HAS to be hacking into the system and changing the codes somehow," Akiyoshi growled. "Well I'm not going to let him have his way. I didn't set all this up just for some jerk to come in and ruin everything!" he glared at the image of Pierce and Lighdramon.

Well, somebody's clearly not happy.

Yeah Akiyoshi's gonna get a migraine at this rate.

And, the best part, Veemon gets his two other canon armor evolutions.

You can tell Miracle Quest is us having fun with that a bit.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this chapter, because...
