Kit wakes up happy, Surge wakes up feeling weird. Kit goes back to his job, but notices that Surge seems confused. Really confused. Kit approaches her.
"Surge?" Surge turns and sees Kit.
"Oh hey, Drippy, how's it going?"
"Good, you alright?"
"…Drippy, do you know what love feels like?" Surge's tone shifts, Kit begins to think of Tails and Charmy, before arriving at the obvious answer for the situation.
"Yes."
"Oh thank goodness, I have no idea how to do this drippy"
"Who is it?"
"Amy"
"Does she like you back?"
"She gave me a kiss on the cheek"
"She likes you."
"Crap and then she bolted! Drippy you have got to help me! How do I tell her I like her too?"
"Find her and tell her, easy!"
"You are way too smart kid" Surge leaves the room immediately to find Amy. Kit's glad he could help, and maybe he thinks he should take his own advice.
Surge eventually finds Amy. But she's talking with someone. Oh to whatever, she's going for it. She approaches Amy. But Amy noticed her before she could get to her. The shocked expression on Amy's face alerted the person who she was talking to, who proceeded to get in front of Amy and stop Surge.
"Hey what's the big idea?" Surge asks.
"Blaze!" The Cat turns to Amy, who notices her face, and immediately let's go.
"Sorry." Blaze says.
"Sure…" Surge replies.
"Oh um, Blaze this is Surge and Surge this is Blaze." Amy introduces the two.
"Nice to meet you." Blaze puts out her hand and Surge slaps it, thinking it was a high five. Surge smiles, while Blaze is confused.
"Hey Surge, sorry about…"
"That's what I wanted to talk to you about" Surge sputters out, which catches Amy and Blaze off guard
"What are you two talking about?" Blaze questions, Amy proceeds to blush a bright red. Which shocks Blaze for some reason.
"Oh are you two… dating?" Blaze asks with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"Not yet." Surge says.
"Oh, Good, Amy I have something to tell you then."
"Uh, can it wait B-"
"I'm in love with you."
"Wh-"
"Oh no you don't, I love her way more than you do" Surge says with lightning charging out of her fists
"Is that a challenge?" Blaze says with fire coming out of her hair.
"Wait! Please, wait… I like you both okay?" Amy says, attempting to stop the fight
"That's an option?" Surge says. Both Blaze and Amy turn to her in confusion.
"Yes?" Both Amy and Blaze say
"Huh" Amy laughs at Surge's stupidity while Blaze smiles at her
"So, um, girlfriends?" Amy suggest
"Sure, why not, she's hot anyways… wait does that mean we're girlfriends too?"
"…Maybe?" Blaze says "let's give it time. We only just met."
"Fair enough, so who are you and what are you here for?"
"I'm Blaze, the Princess of the sol dimension, I came here for vacation and to see Amy and also so that Marine can see… her friend" Blaze overemphasizes on the word friend.
"Wow, she only has one friend? That's sad" Surge says, Amy elbows her girlfriend for the comment, while Blaze chuckles at bit again at the girl's ignorance.
"She actually has a few, just one main one, who… she kinda has a crush on." Blaze lets her professionalism slip with the last comment, which Surge smiles at
"Tell me about it, she and Cream have been going around each other for forever, it's simultaneously cute and frustrating" Amy complains and Blaze laughs a bit
The trio continue talking. Eventually, even without Surge noticing they make it to Amy's house. It fits her. She and Blaze sit down next to each other.
"Surge was it?"
"The one and only"
"Yeah, so we're you…?" Blaze suggests that she knows of Surge's former ways.
"Yea, but as you can see, Amy taught me a better way" Surge say with a smile which Blaze matches
"She helped me change too, get out of my shell, she's great." Blaze tears up a bit, Surge pats her on the shoulder, Blaze smiles at her.
"I hope you two aren't bonding too much here!" Amy sarcastically says to the other two, and puts down some muffins she made.
"Always great, as usual." Blaze compliments Amy
"You've been keeping this hidden, this is great!" Surge says taking a bite out of her third muffin already, Blaze looks in shock as Amy attempts to stop her from eating a fourth.
The three continue to chat and do whatever for the rest of the day. When the day ends, they all decide to stay at Amy's. Surge tells Kit that she won't be there and he'll be alone and Blaze says Marine can stay at Cream's. The three have a sleepover of watching moving and hanging out. They do eventually fall asleep. Only to wake up in the morning.
Surge and Blaze wake up sleeping next to each other. Hands intertwined, they notice Amy is missing but hear sounds from her kitchen. They investigate to see her cooking breakfast. Blaze puts her arms around Amy while Surge admires the food.
"Surge, are you more in love with the food than you are with me?" Amy jokes
"Yes" Surge says back, her mouth watering from the food.
Amy serves breakfast to the two. Surge scarfs her down easily and asks for seconds which Amy graciously provides. While Blaze takes a more dignified approach. Amy is seemingly in the middle of the two, not as refined as Blaze but not as messy as Surge. That is not lost on Amy who looks at her two girlfriends and smiles. The three continue eating. Blaze and Surge leave both promising to see Amy later. Those two seperate soon after but they say goodbye to each other. Surge goes back to her bunk and Blaze takes Marine and goes back to her dimension.
As Blaze sits in her royal office she already misses her girlfriends, yes she's already considering Surge her girlfriend. As well as Surge who sits in her room missing her girlfriends. Amy is too excited about how well it went to miss her girlfriends yet. But don't worry, she misses them shortly after. Amy thinks she'll have to plan a day out again for the three of them soon. So that they can formally have a date. Well more like she can have a date with both her two girlfriends, right?
