Celestia the realm of the goddesses, a place only dreamed of by mere mortal minds. Once long ago this heavenly plane hovering over the lands of mortals was a peaceful place, a home. But in the following centuries it became host to a major conflict, one that has outlasted many of its immortal nigh unkillable participants.
*CLASH* the sound of blessed steel rang out across the celestial landscape, a familiar sound to only those who call this realm home. The once beautiful structures, places of worship, and living quarters now little more than white and gold rubble. The geography plagued by deep gouges, burns, craters, and many other signs of damage from the centuries of combat, what little vegetation remains are mere shadows of their former selves valuing survivability over fashion.
*SHINK* another sound, this of metal weapons gliding across each other as their users try to kill their opponents, with minimal success.
Purple Heart slid to a stop, her oversized katana leaving yet another deep gouge in the ground as she wiped a small trickle of blood from her lips. She looked up to see the white hired, teal eyed woman known as Black Heart, the one who had broken her defenses sending her sliding, was already in a weapon lock with another woman, on the shorter side with light blue hair and rageful red eyes, her name was White Heart. Purple Heart watched as a third and final woman started to fly down towards the engaged bluenette, a woman with green hair and royal purple eyes. White Heart noticed this as well, and to avoid getting run-through by Green Heart's oversized spear she slid her giant axe across Black Heart's blade so as to trap her weapon, before then using her superhuman strength to fling her enemy at her other enemy. The two goddesses collided with a solid thunk before falling to the ground.
Using her sword, Purple Heart got back onto her feet and readied her weapon in case White Heart decided to charge her, luckily for the purple haired woman her opponent was too busy watching Black and Green Heart haul themselves off the ground, giving Purple Heart a precious second to catch her breath.
"Ugh this is getting us nowhere, we're too evenly matched." Black Heart said with a huff as she dusted herself off while floating away from both Green and White Heart.
"So, are you throwing in the towel and accepting that I'm the one true goddess?" White Heart asked with a smirk, as she too floated away from them and turned to be able to see all three of her enemies.
"As if I would submit to someone as immature and underdeveloped as you White Heart!" Green Heart responded with a sneer that morphed into a smirk as she held up her plentiful bust with her arm. White Heart's own smirk disappeared as she growled at yet another one of Green Heart's jabs at her short stature and lack of bust, readying her weapon for another swing at the busty goddesses neck.
"Ladies!" Purple Heart shouted so as to bring the other woman's gazes to her. "Surely we can come to a peaceful resolution to this conflict." Purple Heart pleaded as she also floated away from them in such a way that left them all at the corners of an unseen square.
"The only way this ends is with all of you dead at my feet." Black Heart responded, shooting Purple Heart a glare before moving her gaze from one Heart to the next. Purple Heart wasn't surprised by this response; she has tried for centuries to make these three see reason after she herself grew tired of fighting over something so useless as a title. She had wished to stop fighting altogether and to shift her focus onto her people and city, but every time she tried one of the other goddesses would challenge her or accuse her of being weak, forcing her to once again partake in this pointless war. She sighed, she was tired, hurt, and more than a little dirty. She wanted to go home to wash up and crash on her infamously soft and fluffy bed. She closed her eyes and rubbed them with the fingers of her free hand, when she opened her eyes she expected the three ready to make another dash to rip out the others throats. But instead she saw the three Hearts looking around confused as if looking around for some invisible foe.
"Yes, the three of us combined could kill her, and that would be one less problem on my hands. Green Heart, White Heart you up for a temporary truce?" Black Heart said leaving Purple Heart rather confused, as if she missed an entire side of the conversation.
"Sure, if only to get this Purple bitch off my ass." White Heart said readying her weapon as both Green and Black Heart did the same slowly closing in on the purple themed goddess. Purple Heart felt sweat trickle down her neck as she silently gulped hard. She was a good fighter, but she wasn't good enough to fight all three of them at once.
"What are you three on about? Have you lost your minds?" Purple Heart asked as she slowly started to float away from her to be killers.
"Get her." was all Green Heart responded with before the goddesses flew towards Purple Heart, their intent to paint Celestia with her insides written across their faces. She only had a split second to raise her weapon to catch the tip of Green Hearts spear. She managed to shift the force of Green Heart's attack so that her weapon slid off to her left causing the greenette to fall into Black Heart's path of attack, causing her to halt her attack or risk cleaving through her temporary ally. Purple Heart again had precious few seconds to duck an axe swing that was aimed for her neck. This process of Purple Heart dodging or blocking attack continued, even with her being outnumbered. That is until the fatigue of constant fighting and holding off attacks caused her hands to start hurting and her weapon to be effortlessly thrown from her hands by another powerful swing from White Heart. A slash from Black Heart forced her to the ground with a stumble, and a stab from Green Heart sent her sliding across the ground on her stomach several feet away. She got back up to her knees and looked up to see the three making their last charge at her. As one last hopeless attempt at defending herself, she crossed her arms over each other in front of her face, closing her eyes and waiting for the end.

…
It never came. She slowly opened one eye, then another, she looked up to see a navy blue themed woman standing between Purple Heart and her enemies. The woman had short, spiky, navy blue hair, wore some kind of black sleeveless combat vest with blue details, as well as a pair of black short shorts with a blue hexagonal pattern, and futuristic black thigh high combat boots. She also wore some kind of mask that hid her eyes and nose but left her short hair exposed. In her right hand she wielded a simple but sharp broadsword. The woman appeared to be slightly taller than White Heart and looked to be in her mid to late teens. As Purple Heart stared at the newcomer, the woman appeared to "glitch" but instead of hard and sharp geometric shapes one would associate with a glitch, she glitched with soft and organic shapes, almost as if she were melting into and out of their reality. The mystery woman pointed her sword at the three goddesses before running full speed at them, despite appearing to be only human. Purple Heart could only watch on in surprise then growing horror as the woman not only stood her ground against three heavenly beings but actually started to draw blood. A lot of blood. What started as an uneven fight slowly turned into a complete slaughter as the woman's blade started to hack through the famously durable goddess flesh. Purple Heart starred eyes wide and mouth slightly agape as she watched her enemies get turned into red bleeding messes before her very eyes. She jumped up and recalled her sword to her hand before taking her own charge at the woman. She wouldn't call her fellow goddesses friends, not even frenemies, nor would they consider her anything less than a bitch that needed to be put down, but that didn't mean Purple Heart was gonna just let them be murdered. Even if they have tried to kill her many times over the centuries she considered them as sort of battle sisters, fellow celestials trying to achieve the same selfless goals as her, and people she wished to be friends with. By the time she reached the blue woman she had stopped her assault, as there was little to fight, with the other goddesses lying in pools of blood on the ground. She brought her katana up and then down to strike, only to find her attack intercepted by a blood covered broadsword. She struggled to try and push back her enemy only to see said enemy effortlessly keeping her weapon in place. She stared at the woman's mask, where her eyes should be, the two holding that position. Purple Heart knew she wasn't getting out of this unscathed.
Purple Heart was by no means a doctor, but over the course of her extended life she picked up the basics of first aid. This skill was coming in handy as she used her teeth to tighten the makeshift tourniquet made from one of her gloves, around the upper part of her right arm. She hissed as the fabric started to squeeze so hard it hurt, which is what she wanted, using her teeth and left hand she managed to keep the tension and tie it off. She could feel warm blood cascading down her left cheek as she forced her left eye closed as hard as possible. She was starting to feel light headed and dizzy, looking down at herself she knew why, she was bleeding heavily and was probably about to pass out from blood loss. Acting quickly she opened up her HUD and opened her contacts, she quickly looked through and found the number she was looking for, and pressed call. Instantly a picture of a purple haired woman in gothic style attire appeared with the word "calling" under it. It took less than a second for the woman, Maia, to pick up.
"Lady Purple Heart are you alright?" came the monotone voice of a woman, but Purple Heart could hear a concerned edge to her voice.
"Maia, I'm hurt and I need emergency medical treatment, I'm opening the portal to Celestia now." Purple Heart didn't need to say another thing before the call ended and she collapsed onto her back and her HDD gave out. A few seconds later a portal opened up a few feet away from Neptune, and out rushed several heavily armored paramedics as well as a woman with purple hair and eyes, dressed in a black and purple gothic dress. Maia and the paramedics quickly rushed to Neptune's side trying as fast as possible to stem the bleeding. But with her vision tunneling she swatted at some of the paramedics.
"Go save them too." Neptune managed to croaked out before gesturing to the other goddesses, their HDDs also given out. The paramedics shared a look before looking to Maia for her approval, she nodded and all but one of the paramedics got up and went over to help the other goddesses. The last thing Neptune remembers before blacking out was saying something to Maia.
"I knew you had a heart." Neptune whispered with a smile before her world turned black.
