Hiccup and Astrid were still on the Navy ship making their way to Impel Down and were now enjoying lunch.
"I do hope the Marines don't find it unusual that you're asking for three times the amount of a normal person," said Astrid.
"I can easily tell them that I have a big appetite," said Atali.
"At least they've stopped trying to take a peek now," said Hiccup.
"Yes, it would seem as if they have finally learned their lesson," Atali agreed.
That wasn't necessarily true, as several Marines looked curiously at the cabin.
"She seems to be spending most of her time talking to herself, but I do find it a strange turn-on," said the Marine as he took notes. "But something is still fishy. Further investigation will be needed on this issue."
Meanwhile, on a very gloomy island within the Grand Line, Perona had taken residence in the middle of the island, where a huge mansion which was completely abandoned.
"Nope, still angry," she said through gritted teeth. "I am still mad about this. I know what I said, 'If I were to travel anywhere in the world, I would want to go to someplace dark and damp with a creepy old castle. And I would spend all my days singing songs of curses.' But…"
She then tightened the grip on her parasol as the thought of Kuma entered her mind. "Stupid Kuma! I did know the castle wouldn't have any maids! No servants, nothing cute, no bagel sandwiches or hot chocolate served to me in bed every morning! And a top at all of that isn't a single stuffed animal here!"
She then began to cry. "Where the heck am I? Oh, Moria. Oh, Treacle, I miss you. I want to go back to Breakneck Bog and…"
She then heard something crashing in the forest.
"What was that?"
She sat down in the deckchair, unleashed her astral projection form, and floated over towards the noise source.
"Yes, I know it!" she said excitedly. "Someone else's exiled here just like me. I hope it is someone cute, though I really shouldn't expect too much. Either way, goodbye crushing loneliness."
She arrived at the crash site, but her eyes widened when she realised that it was Toothless.
"No, is that… it is. It's one of the Dragon Riders," she said. "Kuma must have beaten him and launched him here." She then floated down to examine him and could see that he was pretty beaten up. "And he looks pretty dead."
Toothless then moved in, and she backed away from him in surprise.
"He's got all those bruises and stuff, but he's still alive?" she said, shocked. She then smirked. "It's only a matter of time, I guess. He'll be dead soon enough, serves you right."
She then floated away back to the castle.
However, she suddenly had a change of heart and took Toothless to the castle, where she attended to his wounds. He, however, remained unconscious for days, but then, one day, he began to open his eyes.
"I'm alive, but where am I?" he said, not recognising his surroundings.
He then remembered his battle with Kuma and then began to scream, which woke Perona, who had nodded off next to him.
It was then that he recognised Perona. "Wait, I know you. Where am I, and why are you here?"
"I can ask you the same thing?" Perona snapped. "Also, don't scream like that!"
Toothless then attempted to get out of bed, and it was then that he noticed that his swords were missing.
"What did you do with my swords?" he asked.
Perona quickly somersaulted backwards. "Oh, you won't be getting those back."
Toothless glared at her. "I'm warning you…" He got out of bed but was still injured and fell onto one knee.
"This ought to slow you down," Perona smirked. "Negative Hollow!"
She then conjured her negative ghost and sent it flying at Toothless, who was too injured to avoid it. The moment it passed through his body, he quickly found a slump of depression and fell down to his hands and knees.
"I'm nothing but garbage; someone should throw me away," he said.
He then collapsed, and Perona smirked. "Ha, you're not so tough. Rather, I'm super awesome.
Toothless finally regained consciousness and saw Perona standing in front of him.
"How dare you!" he growled.
"Don't you growl at me like that; it's not cute at all," she said. "From now on, you're going to be my servant. Do you understand me?"
This only made Toothless even more furious.
Then, suddenly, she approached him and placed her head against him. "Now, stop talking; just be cute."
Toothless had no idea what was going on, but he found the entire thing degrading. "What the hell? Stop that?! This is not okay!"
He tried to move about it incredibly difficult; he was still wrapped in bandages, but it was far more than necessary.
"I won't be lonely ever again," she said cheerfully.
"I can't, even though!" Toothless yelled in frustration.
He looked down and instantly saw why he found it difficult to move. Perona had stopped him in a giant teddy bear, which was similar to her servant Treacle. There was a hole for Toothless' head in the teddy bear's forehead and a place for his arms and legs, but the body was so bulky that it was difficult for him to move. To make matters worse, Perona was culling up next to him like he was some sort of giant pillow.
"This is ridiculous!" he yelled.
"Oh, Treacle," Perona smiled.
"You freak!" Toothless yelled. "What did you do to me? Get off!"
Perona narrowed her eyes at him and unleashed one of her negative ghosts on him, and he instantly fell to his hands and knees.
"I am sorry that I yelled at you," he said.
"Lesson learned, you're forgiven," she said.
Toothless then snapped out of it. "You little…"
She then had another negative ghost pass through him.
"I do apologise… Wait, no I don't…"
Another negative ghost passed through him.
"I'll call you mistress… Like hell it will…"
Another negative ghost went straight through him.
"Okay, seriously, I'm really sorry here."
Perona laughed, finding the entire thing amusing.
Toothless glared at her. "All right, I get it! That's enough!"
He then walked off. "I've wasted too much time here already; I've got to go back."
He then removed the bear costume and made his way to the door.
"Hey," said Perona.
"Yeah, what is it?" Toothless asked, looking back at her. "Unless you tell me where you hit my swords, I don't care."
Perona just stood there twiddling her fingers. "Are you leaving now what?"
"It's none of your business, so get lost," he said as he walked off.
Perona looked surprisingly upset that he was leaving.
Toothless made his way down the corridors, but he was still badly injured, and it hurt every single time you took a step. He then stopped when he came face-to-face with Perona, who had grown in size so that she was filling the entire corridor.
"You won't get away from it that easily," she laughed. "…because you see, I've been lonely for far too long."
Toothless then spun around and saw a large negative ghost flying straight towards him, and he screamed.
Meanwhile, on a ransacked island somewhere within the Grand Line, a cult was performing a demon ritual.
"We call upon you are great Lord," said the cult leader repeatedly. "We pray to you, powerful one. Bring a red Terror upon our dreadful enemies. It is in your name that we make this wish. We call upon you, Lord of darkness, we call upon you to answer us. Come, Satan! Grant the wish of those who praise you."
"Praise Satan," said the cultists repeatedly.
The candles blew out one at a time, and suddenly, they all felt the ground shake. Then, suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck the house, and something crashed in the middle of their magic circle.
The cultists immediately looked up, shocked, surprised that their chanting had done something. They watched in anticipation as the dust began to settle, and their eyes widened as they saw Skull standing there.
"I-is this the devil?"
"Our magic incantation actually worked?" said the cult leader. "What a dreadful-looking creature."
"No kidding, it's not of this world."
"This is what we've waited for. Our prayers have been answered. We will have our revenge at last."
"We don't have anything left. The Long-Arm Tribe took everything."
"The bastards laid claim to everything we hold dear."
"Oh, great and powerful Satan," said the cult leader as he lowered his head. "Please grant us our wish; in exchange, we prepare to offer our souls to you."
"Leave them bloodied and begging for death!"
"Praise Satan, King of the devils!" the cultists chanted in unison repeatedly.
"What is this place?" Skull asked, confused. "How far have I been carried away from all my friends. More importantly, what in the world has happened to them? Whatever their plight, I must aid them. I'll return to meet the others at once."
The cultists just stared at him.
"Wait just a moment! Please don't go back to hell yet, Master Satan!"
"Quickly, men, we need to stop him," said the cult leader.
"We need to offer him more."
"What can we possibly offer Master Satan?"
"A sacrifice? Some blood?"
"What should we do?"
"I'll give up anything to have our wish come true."
Skull just looked around, confused. "What have I landed into?"
Meanwhile, Hiccup and co-were still making their way to Impel Down, but the Marines were getting suspicious.
'Something stinks, and I'm getting to the bottom of it,' said a Marine.
"The food was good, but not to Ragnar standards," said Hiccup.
"Who is to his standards?" Astrid laughed.
"Please be quiet. Don't forget the two of you are stowaways," Atali reminded them. "If you don't keep it down, you'll be discovered."
They then heard a knock on the door.
"Excuse me, are there other people in your room with you?" a Marine asked.
"Damnit," Atali cursed.
"Lieutenant Stalker, are you certain about this?" a Marine officer asked.
"Yes, sir," said Stalker, saluting. "I definitely heard voices, and one of them belonged to a man."
Atali then stepped outside, pushing the tray of empty plates.
"Is something the matter?" she asked coldly.
"Some of my men have been reported strange voices coming for your cabin," said the Marine officer. "They claim that one of them belongs to a man."
Atali looked at him questionably. "Do you honestly think I would let a man into my cabin?" Her eyes then turned to the marine statues nearby. "Look what I've done to your peeping Toms?"
"No, you bring up a good point," the Marine officer admitted.
"And as for me having three times the amount of a normal person, I just have a huge appetite; I am a growing woman after all," she said.
"That's putting it mildly," a marine muttered.
"What was that?" Atali glared.
"Nothing!"
Hiccup and Astrid remained in the cabin. Astrid looked out the window, and Hiccup looked at Ace's viva card.
Back in the Navy HQ, things were getting tense, especially with all the guard ships being destroyed by Stoick the Vast. Already famous Marines from all across the world were gathering at Mainford for the execution of Ace and to battle to the death against the Hairy Hooligan Pirates.
It was apparent to every single one of them that this was not going to be a mere battle but rather an all-out war and one they had to win in the name of justice.
The Warlords had gathered at Meridian, and the Marines who watched them were tense. Although they had been summoned to a meeting to discuss their role in the upcoming war if Stoick attacked, they all had little taste for the discussion. As such, any hope of teamwork or cooperation was quickly dashed.
At Impel Down, Ace was locked up in the deepest, darkest cell of the prison, chained to the wall, and all he could do was sit and wait for his upcoming execution.
He then looked up and saw they had a visitor. "Old man…"
Wrinkly just sat there in front with his arms folded. "Huh, how can you still be alive with all those horrific wounds? Huh, Ace? Because of you, Navy headquarters… no, the entire World Government is a mess."
He then laughed.
"Just kill me," said Ace, looking at him in the eyes. "Do it. Kill me now."
"So you want to die, huh?" said Wrinkly. "You damn fool. Nothing can be done now; everything is in motion. Even if you were to die right now, that won't stop Stoick from fighting. There's nothing that can stop that any more, son. Seems like the Navy has made the King of the Sea mad as hell."
Ace looked to the ground, and tears began to pour out of his eyes. "Father…"
