For Serene, the "few" minutes ended being ten whole minutes in the restroom, but it was better to be safe than sorry in his view. However, by the time he exited the restroom, he could hear a joyful female voice talking and laughing. It soon became clear to him that the "cosplayer" was still in the shop at a table, and yet, somehow, she seemed much happier and more energetic than before. If he had to guess, it was probably because of the coffee she was drinking. Serene then decided to leave without buying anything, but once he walked past her, he could overhear something a bit disturbing from her: "Well, where did she do it this time?... His left arm!? Ohohoho, well at least that's not his dominant one…." Serene baffled by her words, in his mind he spoke, "Wait, is she talking about that huge guy with the knife stuck in his left arm? What the frick is going on in that house!?... You know what… never mind." Not wanting anything to do with it, Serene continued towards the door but also felt like being cheeky towards the demonic looking "cosplayer" as well. Once he opened the door, he said the words, "God bless" before completely leaving.
As Serene walked his way back home, he looked behind to see if the "cosplayer" was headed towards his direction, and to his relief, she was nowhere to be spotted, though he certainly wished he had his car with him. However, once he almost completed walking one mile, Serene heard a voice call out to him from behind. "Excuse me sir! May I take some of your time?", the voice said, prompting Serene to turn around. Eyes wide open, he witnessed the very same "cosplayer" he was trying to stay away from, still seeming quite motivated. Feeling the need to respond quickly, Serene replied, "Oh, well sure… what did you want to discuss?" Despite trying to play it cool, Serene entertained the thought that he was in a dream or hallucinating, as not only was he surprised by the encounter, but also because he had no idea as to how she managed to catch up with him in such a short amount of time. Before he could think about it more, the "cosplayer" introduced herself with a polite smile, "Good to hear, my name is Pandemonica, and I would like to discuss customer related matters with you…" Serene, curious about her vagueness, replied, "Do you happen to work for the grocery story I usually go to?", prompting Pandemonica to clarify, "Not at all, I work for Lightbringer Inc., the greatest producer of sin for this world. You yourself seem quite dissatisfied with our products, but I assure you; we can change that very soon…"
Serene could not believe what he was hearing, leading him to come up with the idea that it was all just a joke. As such, he provided a more confident reply to her, "Sorry, but no thanks, I get that you're playing a character and all, but my faith and beliefs are genuine." Pandemonica slightly tilted her head to side, raising an eyebrow, responding with, "Believe me sir, I'm being quite genuine as well." While she stood still, Pandemonica's 'tail' began to rise to her right side, causing Serene to lose some of his newfound confidence, but still believing that it was all fake. "Ah impressive, that tail must be… mechanical… well it was nice talking to you, Pandemonica, but I really have to get going." After saying this, Serene motioned to leave, but not before Pandemonica offered him one last thing, "Oh, but before you leave, would you at least be willing to have one of our business cards? I understand your faith might suggest incompatibility, but there certainly is potential for an agreement." She pulled a card out with her left hand and offered it to him. Serene, despite showing slight hesitation at first, took the card, much to Pandemonica's delight. "Thank you for your time, sir, I look forward to hearing from you soon". Pandemonica, having said her final words, walked away, presumably towards the house where Serene saw the huge man run out from. Unnerved and wanting to get to the comfort of his own home faster, Serene decided to jog his way there without rest. Once he finally arrived home, he went to the kitchen to grab some ice cream that would help calm his nerves. With his curiosity piqued, however, Serene observed the business card given to him by Pandemonica. The card was mostly pitch black in its coloring, with Lucida Fax-style words and numbers in white coloring: Lightbringer Inc. 666-052-020
