The Chimera was in front of the two boys as they two heads gave an evil, wicked smile on their tiger and goat faces. "Where do you think you're going?" asked the goat head.
"Anywhere but here!" Gumball said in a frantic voice.
"Look! There's a dead cow over there!" Pip tried to distract the three-headed monster. "Hmmm, hust smell that blood spilling out of that corpse,"
"Where?!" Said the three heads in excitement looking at where Pip was pointing. It gave both boys some time to try and escape the chimera.
"Do you think this is part of the Everfree Forest?" Gumball asked as he was panting.
"I have no idea." Pip admitted while also panting. "But we have to get as far away from them as possible."
"i'm there with you, buddy." Gumball agreed with his pony friend. Running on and on just to find some kind of safety or solace from this nightmare, they both found the main square of Ponyville in the glimpse of an eye. Yes, it was safety for sure, but then the chimera stopped them by jumping and landing in front of the boys again.
"Not so fassssst, boysssss." The snake said.
"Much as we like seeing our food and scream, we're starting to get tired of this." The goat head pointed. The three-headed monster walked up to the boys menacingly. The two kids just wanted this to end but that monster is persistent on eating them as their meal. And they were getting tired from all that running, and they both stumbled backwards on a loose root from a nearby tree. It gave the chimera the perfect opportunity to put it's left tiger paw on top of both boys and their claws on top of their faces.
"Looks like we got you right where we want you boys." said the tiger head.
"Oh gosh no." Gumball said. "I had a lot of plans in my life! becoming the best singer in the world, or the best gamer in the world! And i wanted to climb as much mountains as i can!"
"And I wanted to go to Canterlot university!" Pip said
"Aww, don't worry. You will not have to worry about those things anymore." the tiger head.
"Yes. You both don't have to worry about anything anymore." the goat head pointed
"Now jusssst close your eyessss and find your happy placccce." the snake hissed.
"And, we'll try to make it as quick and painless as possible." the tiger smiled evilly. She and her goat-head sister opened their mouths as they were going to single-handedly eat these poor boys with ease. Gumball and Pip closed their eyes as they were about to cry tears of fear and just waited for the worse to come.
"It was nice knowing you, Pip." Gumball said. "Even if it was for a short while."
"I can say the same about you, Gumball." Pip replied.
Just when the worse was seconds away, a voice called out: "Hey!" the Chimera looked over to where the voice came from and to the boys' relief, it was Fluttershy looking angry and ready to fight. "Get away from these boys!"
"Fluttershy!" Both Gumball and Pip exclaimed in joy.
"Well, what have we here?" said the tiger.
"You leave them alone. If you deal with my friends, you gotta deal with me!" Fluttershy gave them a scary look. At first, the monster was not amused and began laughing at her.
"Aren't you just an adorable pony." said the goat head with an amused look on her face.
"Yesssss, lookssss like a three-course meal for ussss." the snake said.
The yellow pegasus walked up to the chimera as they were still laughing at her. When Fluttershy was close enough to the beast, the chimera stopped laughing as they looked at her, then she gave them her signature "stare" to put them into submission. At first, the three-headed monster seemed indifferent, but after about four seconds, it grew terrified and the stare was too much for even them to handle. "What is she doing?" asked Gumball
"That's her signature stare. Make Fluttershy mad enough then she will do that to you. She stares into your soul with that." Pip replied. "It's scarier than when my mom stares at me like that if i do something really bad."
"Now, listen closely!" Fluttershy sounded like an angry mother now, "I have a good mind to tell your parents about this and make sure they give you a proper punishment! Now you leave these boys alone, or you will be sorry!" the Chimera was shaking in fright now like a scared puppy lost in the rain. "Do you understand me?"
"Yes!" all three heads replied in a panic before running away in fear without a thought to even glance back at her. Both Gumball and Pip got back on their feet as they smiled gratefully at the gentle yellow pegasus.
"Gumball, Pip, are you two ok?" said Fluttershy. "Did that monster hurt you?"
"Nope." Gumball said. "Thanks to you, Fluttershy."
"Yeah we would have been chimera chow if you didn't come along." Pip added.
Fluttershy smiled. "I'm really glad you're both ok, but what happened?"
"We were just playing out here in the woods abd then that monster came out of nowhere and tried to eat us." Pip explained
"You didn't go into the Everfree forest, did you?"
"No! You told me thay it's one of the most dangerous places in Equestria." Gumball replied. "I would never go into a place where i would let my handsome face. I'm too young and too handsome to die."
"OK. Well i'm glad you are both alright." Then she hugged the boys to show relief.
"Question though," said the blue cat boy, "how did you find us here? How did you inow we were about to be eaten by a bloodthirsty chimera?"
"One of my blue jay friends noticed what was happening and inmeduatley flew over to me to warn me."
"That makes sense." said Pip.
