Jaune Arc has always dreamed of becoming a Huntsman, but with no formal training and little support, he's had to fight for every step forward. An apprenticeship offers him a path to his goal, but it means leaving behind the only home he's ever known. Jaune Arc died. Dying was the easy part. Waking up in a village infested by Grimm. A little more challenging. Now he was a man on a quest to achieve the mythical. Get good, beat the bosses, get the girls, and try desperately to make sure that this game's ending wasn't as depressing as the other games in the genre.

When Yang falls, its quiet. Calm. She did what she had to do. When Ruby and Blake fall, it's a jolt, a cold shock of horror that they didn't quite make it. When Weiss falls, it's almost with relief. Living or dead, she'll see them again. When Jaune falls, he thinks of his team, of one more letter knocked off of Team JNPR. When they wake up, they're at Beacon. Fix-it fic after V8.

If there's anyone in the world who Blake absolutely cannot date, it's Detective Yang Xiao Long. Yet that's exactly what ends up happening. As Yang shakes Blake's views not only of the world but of herself, Blake must decide who she really is and who she wants to be. Has she strayed down the wrong path? The Blacksmith, in all fairness, did tell them exactly what was about to happen. Qrow Branwen was a man filled with regrets about the past. The last thing he expected when Tyrian Callows poisoned him was that he might have a chance to go back and fix those mistakes, and maybe to make a few more along the way. Hunstmen and Huntresses in RWBY are effectively bulletproof, wield enormous weapons, and can react faster than you can blink. By all accounts they are practically demigods to a normal person.
