As the newly emerged Grimm from the mountain flies over Vale dropping pools of Grimm everywhere it goes, Bleu continues her search for team ARID while Ivan and Sky start to clear the landing dock of the Grimm.

Ivan punches a Beowolf, sending it off the cliff as Sky stabs one of his sai into a Beowolf and throws another at a passing Griffin Grimm. Ivan pulls the sai out of the Griffin and tosses it back to Sky as he catches it.

Sky: Looks like we cleared the landing zone for now.

Ivan looks to the sky to see the Generals carrier crashing into the city but then catches sight of someone falling but they were gliding with an umbrella.

Ivan: Hey, isn't that the girl that left the White Fang hideout?

Sky looks to see the girl gliding through the air as Griffin try to get her.

Sky: Those Grimm will kill her if no one helps her.

Ivan: You go help her. Make sure she's alright. I'll go look for Bleu and team ARID.

Sky: Then who will hold this landing zone?

Crimson: I'll hold it.

Ivan and Sky look to see Crimson Vane holding his weapon Pegasus in sniper form.

Ivan: Thank you for coming.

Crimson: No thanks necessary. I will always be here to defend my home. Go find your friends, Ivan.

Ivan: Right. Sky, come back here as soon as you can.

Sky nods as he takes to the skies to rescue the girl in the sky and Ivan heads for Bleu.

Sky

As a Griffin opens its jaw to devour the girl in the air, she closes her eyes only to hear the sound of something piercing through flesh and reopens her eyes to see a winged Faunus pulling a double-edged staff out of the Grimm as it falls into Vale. The Faunus carefully puts his arms under her legs with one arm and the other around her back as he slowly descends to the streets. She folds up her umbrella as he gently sets her down. She then gets into a defensive stance.

Sky: Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you.

The pink and brown-haired umbrella girl lowers her arm and tilts her head in confusion.

Sky: Are you hurt?

The girl shakes her head but doesn't say a word.

Sky: Well, you're safe now. Just find your way to the evac site and you'll be safe.

Sky takes to the skies and the girl starts to cry when a familiar bowler lands next to her.

Fang

Shot after shot can be heard as Fang takes down so many White Fang soldiers. As Fang reloads Justice and Equality, a single White Fang soldier is crawling away until Fang flips him over and places Justice on the soldier's forehead.

Fang: I'm gonna only ask you once and you have ten words to explain to me why is the White Fang bringing Grimm into the school. And if I don't like what you say, I will feed you to that giant Grimm that is circling us now.

White Fang Soldier: You don't have the faintest idea what is going... (punched in the nose)

Fang: Alright that was what... nine? One more word.

The White Fang soldier says nothing and is punched again.

White Fang Soldier: (grunts) Ahh! Adam... Adam!

Fang is angered and grabs the soldier's collar.

Fang: Where? Where is he?!

Suddenly a female scream is heard and Fang knocks out the soldier, then heads for the source of the scream only to see Blake on the ground while holding her teammate Yang Xiao Long. She looked scared as Fang then sees Adam Taurus slowly walking towards them and pulls out Narcissus and Echo.

Adam: You need not run anymore my love. I'll make your death quick when it's your time.

Suddenly Adam is shot in the shoulder as he sees an angered Fang Sanguise charging at him with his fur on fire and his red eyes glowing. Knowing he can't fight Fang and Blake, Adam retreats while still being shot at by Fang. Fang grunts in anger until...

Blake: Fang, help me. Please!

Fang turns to see Blake crying and holding her side while trying to pick up her friend as blood pours out of Yang's arm. Fang rushes to them and realizes that Yang's arm is missing and blood was leaking out.

Blake: Please, I don't have anything to stop it.

Fang thinks of what he could do to stop the bleeding and notices his Semblance is still active.

Fang: Blake, hold her arm and get ready to cover her mouth in case she wakes up. This is going to hurt.

Blake holds up Yang's severed arm as Fang places his flamed-up fur and starts cartelizing the wound. Yang slightly whimpers as Fang rips off a piece of his shirt and bandages her arm. He then picks her up bridal style and looks at Blake.

Fang: Come on, we need to get everyone to the landing dock.

Blake: Ok.

Fang and Blake head to the landing pad.

Bleu

Bleu: Azure! Diane! Ian! Ron!

Bleu looks around the broken debris from the school and suddenly starts to hear someone crying. She moves closer to investigate and finds Azure holding Diane in his arms while Ron and Ian are lying dead next to him and Diane. Bleu covers her mouth to see that Diane is dead in Azure's arms.

Azure: Come on Diane please wake up. Wake up.

Bleu: Azure?

Azure: Bleu! Please help me. She won't wake up.

Bleu looks to see Diane's eyes are closed and notices the slash mark across her chest that had her blood coming out.

Bleu: Azure, I'm so sorry. But we need to go.

Azure: No, I won't leave her.

Bleu: Azure-

Azure: I won't!

Bleu cups Azure's face in her hands and makes him look at her.

Bleu: I will carry her, but we have to go.

Azure continues to cry as Bleu pulls him away from Diane. Bleu leans down to pick up Diane's body until the sound of massive footsteps can be heard, followed by a deep growl.

It was a Silver Tooth Grimm and it smelled the blood of team ARID as it sniffs the air. Bleu slowly backs away from Diane's body and reaches behind her for Azure but keeps her eyes on the Grimm. Azure grabs her hand as she pulls him close and whispers to him.

Bleu: I'm gonna distract it, and you are gonna grab Diane's body and run. Understand?

Azure nods as uses her Semblance to transform her human legs into cheetah legs and whistles. The Silver Tooth spots Bleu as it begins to chase after her. Bleu uses her cheetah legs just to stay ahead of the Grimm as it chases her around the courtyard. She looks to see the Grimm has stopped chasing her and starts sniffing the air again. Bleu immediately knew why it stopped. Diane must've died recently, so her blood would still be fresh. The Grimm starts walking toward Azure as he trips and falls to the ground with Diane's body on top of him.

Bleu: Azure!

As Azure tries to get free the Grimm is practically above his head as it goes in for the kill until...

Bleu: NOOOO! (GROWLS)

Ivan

Ivan is seen running through the courtyard as he suddenly sees the Grimm from Mountain Glenn smash into Beacon Tower.

Ivan: Damn it. Bleu, where are you?

He then hears a roar through the smoke and heads toward it to find Azure on the ground with Diane's dead body on top of him and helps him up. Ivan looks over Azure to find any injuries and finds none.

Ivan: Azure, are you alright? Where is Bleu? Have you seen her?

Ivan looks to see Azure's eyes watering up and hugs him.

Ivan: I'm sorry, kid. Have you seen Bleu?

Azure points to where the corpse of a Silver Tooth Grimm evaporated into black smoke to reveal Bleu lying on the ground. Ivan rushes to her and sees that a small section of her hair has turned blue. She opens her eyes to reveal her glowing blue and silver eyes. She then passes out and Ivan picks her up as Azure picks up Diane's body.

Ivan: Come on. Let's get to the landing pad.

Landing Pad

Ivan and Azure arrive to find Fang with Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna, Sky wrapping a bandage around Velvet Scarlatina's head, and Crimson helping Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Ivan sets Bleu down as he suddenly hears someone.

?: PYRRHAAAAAA!

Everyone turns to see a bright light emitting from atop Beacon Tower and the loud screech of the Wyvern Grimm. As the light dissipates, Ivan turns to Crimson.

Ivan: Call an airship.

Crimson pulls out his Scroll and calls an airship while Sky looks to see Qrow Branwen arrive with a girl I'm his arms.

Sky: Qrow?

Qrow: Hey, I know you.

Fang: Airship incoming!

Everyone looks to see the airship lower onto the landing pad.

Ivan: (picks up Bleu) Everyone up. And help the wounded aboard.

Fang picks up Yang Xiao Long as Blake follows him, Sky helps Coco Adel with Velvet, and Crimson helps Azure with Diane's body.

Hours Later At Vale Hospital

Bleu stirs awake as she then touches her forehead until her eyes widen.

Bleu: Azure! (winces)

Bleu's head starts pounding until she looks to see Sky sitting in a chair in her room.

Bleu: Sky?

Sky: (jerks his head up and rubs his eyes) I'm awake. Oh, Bleu, you're awake.

Bleu: How did I get here?

Sky: Ivan carried you here from Beacon.

Bleu: Azure, is he-

Fang: He'll be alright.

Bleu looks to see Fang standing by the door holding his hat in his hand.

Fang: He's just gonna have a rough time with all that's happened.

Bleu: I honestly was hoping that all of that was just a nightmare.

Sky: We all wish that.

Bleu: Wait, where is Ivan?

Fang and Sky look at each other before turning back to Bleu.

Fang: We don't know where he is at the moment.

Bleu: But you said he carried me here. So where-

Bleu is cut off as her father can be heard calling her name down the hallway.

Henry: Bleu! Bleu.

Fang: Over here, Mr. Falls.

Henry appears at the door as he looks at his daughter in the hospital bed and rushes to her. He hugs her gently as he begins to cry.

Henry: My baby girl.

Bleu: Dad, I'm fine. Just a headache.

Henry: I'm just glad to see that you're ok.

Crimson: I'd hate to ruin this tender moment, but may I speak with the members of team SAFF alone Mr. Falls?

Fang: (angrily) It can wait, pal.

Fang's eyes start glowing as Crimson reaches for his weapon.

Bleu: Enough!

Everyone looks at Bleu as Fang's eyes return to normal.

Bleu: Dad, can you check on a kid named Azure for me, please?

Henry: Of course dear. We'll talk later.

Henry leaves the room and Crimson closes the door only to be pushed by Fang.

Fang: Do you have any semblance of decency in that thick head of yours?

Crimson: I'm sorry if this takes priority.

Sky: The girl just woke up and you're already bugging her-

Bleu: Boys. That's enough. Now, what is this about Crimson?

Crimson: (pulls out his Scroll) Ivan sent me a message moments after I saw him leave. It says that it's for all of you.

Crimson hands the Scroll to Bleu as Fang and Sky stand beside her. Crimson walks to the door to leave until...

Bleu: Crimson.

Crimson turns to Bleu.

Bleu: I think you should see this too. If Ivan trusted you enough to send this to your Scroll, then you are meant to see it as well.

Crimson smiles as he stands next to Fang and Bleu presses play on the video and they see Ivan looking at the camera.

Ivan: (message) If you're watching this, then you already know that I'm not there. I wish I had time to explain why I left, but with the CCT tower down and all global communication out, I have to be sure. I'm heading to Mistral to check on something. I know that I have no right to ask this of any of you. But I hope that when you are all well rested, you come to find me. After I finish with what I'm checking on, I'll be waiting at Haven Academy. I promise that whatever questions you may have for me, I'll be ready to answer. You all had my back when I needed you. Good luck. See you soon.

Two weeks have passed since the Fall of Beacon as Bleu walks into Azure's room where he was staying in her home. She looked to see him lying on the bed with his back turned towards her. She steps out of the room and walks into the kitchen to see Fang helping Henry with the generator.

Fang: Ok, third time's a charm.

Henry: Here goes nothing.

Fang flips the switch as the generator starts up and for the first time in the whole week, it hasn't blown up.

Fang: Yes!

Fang and Henry laugh at their victory causing Bleu to smile. She then realizes that she and the others will be leaving for Mistral soon and she heads out to the city. She arrives to see Glynda using her Semblance to repair a building but as soon as she reforms it, she collapses to the ground.

Bleu: Glynda!

Bleu rushes over to Glynda and helps her up.

Glynda: Bleu, thank you.

Bleu helps Glynda to the cafe and sets her down. Bleu decides to make some tea for Glynda and herself as she sits with her.

Bleu: Here. (hands tea to Glynda)

Glynda: (takes cup) Thank you, dear.

Glynda takes a sip and then looks down at the table in sadness. Bleu sees this and sets her cup down and wraps her hands around Glynda's, causing her to look up.

Bleu: You know that I'll be heading to Mistral soon. But I need to know that you'll be ok.

Glynda: Bleu-

Bleu: Ever since you took me under your wing by bringing me and my dad to Vale, I've felt as if I owe you the same courtesy. But in all the years you trained me, I've seen you not just as my teacher, but you are like a second mother to me. And I don't want to lose you too.

Glynda's eyes widen as tears begin to form until Bleu moves closer and hugs Glynda close. Glynda starts to cry as she hugs Bleu.

Glynda: I will make you a promise. I will keep fighting so you may have a bright future, but as long I get to see you become the hero I've always seen the moment you walked into the general's office. Deal?

Bleu: Deal.

After Bleu hugged Glynda, she started to head back to her home to gather the rest of the team when she was stopped by Avyana and Koba.

Avyana: Hey, Huntress! You're the one who talks with Azure Aoi, right?

Bleu: Yes, I am.

Avyana: Is Azure okay? We heard what happened to his teammates.

Bleu: (her expression softened) He's still pretty broken up about it.

Koba: Can you tell him that we are sorry for his loss? Let him know that if he needs anything, we're here for him. All he has to do is reach out.

Bleu: (gives a small nod) I'll tell him.

With that, she continued on her way back home.

Upon arriving, she found Sky waiting.

Bleu: Is everyone ready to go?

Sky: (nods) Yeah, we're good, but... what about Azure?

Bleu: (sighs) I'll talk to him. You go ahead and gather the others. Meet me at the ferry to Mistral.

Sky spread his wings and took off while Bleu made her way to Azure's room. She hesitated briefly before stepping inside, finding him still turned away from the door.

She approached quietly and gently sat on the bed beside him, placing a hand on his arm.

Bleu: Azure... how are you doing?

Azure turned toward her, his red-rimmed eyes filled with sorrow. Without a word, he threw himself into her arms, his body shaking as he sobbed.

Azure: I miss them, Bleu. Ian, Ron, Diane... I miss them so much.

Bleu held him tightly, running a soothing hand down his back.

Bleu: (softly whispered) I know, Azure. I know.

Azure: If only I was better. If I was faster, then maybe-

After a moment, she pulled back slightly, looking him in the eyes.

Bleu: Don't do that. Don't do that to yourself, okay? What happened isn't your fault.

Azure: But Bleu-

Bleu: No. Don't you dare blame yourself for what happened. Everything was happening so fast and we did all we could to try and save Beacon.

Bleu wipes the tears off of Azure's eyes.

Bleu: We're heading to Mistral to search for Ivan. I want you to come with us.

Azure hesitated, fear flickering across his face.

Azure: I... I don't know if I can.

Bleu squeezed his hands gently.

Bleu: You're not alone. We'll be with you. No matter what.

Azure took a deep, shaky breath, nodding slowly.

Azure: ...Okay.

Vale Docks

As Bleu, Fang, Sky, Crimson, and Azure leave on the boat to Mistral, they all look back at the city they fought for and then see Henry, Oobleck, Port, and Glynda waving goodbye to them as they wave back. In the background behind the members of team SAFF, a large figure can be seen in the shadows with several lights emanating from his body light he was wearing a suit of armor.

?: (laughs) That's right children. Lead me to your fearless leader.
