A duel idea by Merch22 who thought of a scenario of a duel between Shark post XYZ Dimension Invasion and Ushio on Worms.
So this is me just wanting to flex Worms with anime Future Fusion.
It changed for a while now, ever since the invaders came, bringing with them destruction, and a fate that could be said was worse then death.
They took his home, his territory, and worse of all, they took his heart, his sister, his reason to live.
All that was left was anger, and a predator with a keen sense of blood in the water.
The predator spotted its prey, a pack of hunters hunting on the defenceless as they ran amok, their once safe haven having been found.
No matter how far they get, no matter how fast they ran, that mattered little with the duel runners that they rode in with, making them easy prey regardless.
On his maroon machine, the predator started his hunt.
He'd received a distress signal from one of the bases, and while not a common occurrence, it was still something that he deemed he could handle himself, he expected it to be a raid done by the rebel forces of XYZ remnants fighting for their 'freedom'.
And he glanced down at the thing that he was riding, the maroon red aerodynamic single wheeled duel runner that resembled that of a shark's head, with its rider being dressed as if he was some sort of red caped crusader.
He'd at least get something out of this, was the thought that ran across his mind before he saw the teen accelerated on his machine, swerving and turning tail to run.
"Wha-! You're not getting away XYZ scum!" He roared as he accelerated his own duel runner, riding after the escaping duelist. "If you think you can just trash the Academia's base without getting anything in return, then you're dead wrong kid! Force Duel!" And activated the duel runner's hidden system.
Having essentially taken control of the futuristic city that was once Heartland, of course the RnD department of the Academia had done their best to reverse engineer their technology. Something that they had done for preparation to invade this dimension, was of course, a way to hack their system.

And fell right into his trap, for this was what he had wanted all along.
So the riding duel then began.

Ushio Tetsu: 4000LP
Shark: 4000LP
Out of the corner of the decrepit street of the destroyed city, the one who rode out first was none other than the scarred man, grinning all the while as his bike's machinery roared.
"Ha! That's the Academia's machinery for you! I'll go first!" The Academia enforcer shouted as he took the first turn, with his opponent seething all the while as he ate the dust behind him.
"I'll start by playing Worm Xex from my hand!" And he immediately played a monster from his five card starting hand, placing the card onto his duel runner's holographic duel blade, and the green X-shaped reptilian alien then emerged on his side of the field, gliding in the air as they raced on.
Worm Xex - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 1800/1000
"And I'll be using his effect!" He declared with an outstretched hand. "When this monster is normal summoned, I get to send a Reptile-Type 'Worm' monster from my deck to the grave!"
With practised ease he then took out a card to send to his grave. "I'll be sending Worm Yagan from my deck to the graveyard!" And then inserted the card to the graveyard slot of his duel runner's duel disk.
"Oh but I'm not done yet! Because I'll be using Worm Yagan's effect on the grave!" He declared as he looked back to his opponent, sending a grin his way that was returned by an angered scowl.
"If 'Worm Xex' is the only monster that I have, I can special summon this card from my grave in face-down defence position!" He shouted aloud, taking the card back from his graveyard and playing it onto the field face-down, right next to his face-up monster.
"But when it leaves the field, it's removed from play, but who cares about that." The man huffed out, revving up his motorcycle as he took out two more cards in his hand. "Now I'll set two cards from my hand, and I'll also activate the Continuous Spell, Terrors in the Hidden City!"
So he said as he set two cards face down, and activating the continuous spell in question, the card shining as its holographic projection appeared beside him, being shown right to his opponent that was behind him.
"With this card on the field, you can't target face-down defence position monsters I have with card effects!" He explained the card's effect that mattered at the time, a conniving smirk on his face all the while. "And then I'll end my turn! Go ahead! Beat it if you can!"
So Tetsu said as he then ended his turn, with two monsters on field and two set cards on his backrow, and a continuous spell face-up protecting his one face-down defence position monster from card effect, ending with no cards left in his hand.
"Hmph, then it's my turn!" He roared, revving his maroon machine as he attempted to catch up and pass his opponent. "I'll draw!" And began his turn with six cards in his hand.
"I'll summon Buzzsaw Shark!" He shouted, not wasting any time as he normal summoned a monster right from his hand, the mechanical shark appearing onto the field, the buzzsaws on its wing-like fins spinning as it swam through the air.
Buzzsaw Shark - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 1600/500
"And I will activate its effect!" He declared, waving his hand forward. "I can target a Water monster that I control, and special summon from my deck a Fish monster with the same Level as that monster, with a different name in defence position, but it can't activate its effect for this turn!"
With his left hand still holding the steer to his futuristic machine, he waved his right hand outwards and shouted. "I'll target Buzzsaw Shark! And I'll use the effect of Minairuka in my hand!"
With the blue haired teen's shout, revealing another card in his hand, he explained the monster's effect. "When a Water monster's effect is activated, as a Quick Effect, I can special summon this card from my hand!"
With those two monster's effects chaining in sequence, they all then were activated one by one. "I'll special summon it in defence position!" And summons out the cartoonish blue dolphin onto his field, his form a stark difference from the mechanical shark next to him.
Minairuka - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 1500/500
Then resolving the effect of Buzzsaw Shark that he chained it to. "And I'll then special summon the Level 4 Right-Hand Shark from my deck!"
He took out the card straight from his deck, and slammed it onto his futuristic motorcycle's holographic duel blade, and the bladed shark appeared, its many sharp fins resembling a human's right hand.
Right-Hand Shark - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 1500/1300
"I'll take the Level 4 Buzzsaw Shark, and the Level 4 Right-Hand Shark, and overlay them!" The dark blue haired teen roared, and the two monsters on his field screeched as they turned into blue pillars of light, and in front of him appeared a galactical vortex of black and gold.
"I'll make an overlay network with these two monsters! XYZ Summon!" And as they moved, the two pillars of light entered the vortex of darkness, and exploded into a pillar of light. "Howl, unknown roar! Rise from the darkness of the abyss! Bahamut Shark!"
And the XYZ Monster then gave a howl that shook the decrepit remains of the buildings that they passed, spreadings its many wing like fins on its back as it was surrounded by a torrent of water, two blue orbs orbiting the newly summoned monster as it flew in the air right next to him as they raced.
Bahamut Shark - Water/Sea Serpent/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2600/2100 OV: 2
"So that's your XYZ Monster huh, well too bad! I'll activate my set card!" The man in front of him said as he swerved on his bike, the Academia's prototype duel runner heeding his command as he turned and drove backwards, facing his opponent with his full grin.
"The Trap, W Nebula Meteorite!" All to flip one of the two set cards that he had on his field, the card's projection shining on the field before him. "This card changes all face-down monsters on the field to face-up defence position!" He said with a grin.
His hand back on the throttle, he swerved his motorcycle back as he waved his hand out towards his monster. "I'll flip Worm Yagan to face-up defence position!" He said with a grin, as the antennae alien reptile monster was flipped face-up, standing next to its brethren.
Worm Yagan - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 1000/1800
"But that's not all!" Tetsu said while sending a grin back to his opponent. "Terrors in the Hidden City increases the attack and defence of all monsters I have that were flipped face-up while this card was face-up on the field by 1500 points!"
"1500 points!?" Shark shouted with wide eyes, as he saw a golden glow surrounded the flipped monster, increasing both its attack and defence by a large margin.
Worm Yagan - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 2500/3300
"Ha! If you think that's shocking then get ready for this! Worm Yagan's effect!" The rider in front of him declared. "When this card is flipped face-up, I can select a face-up monster you have, and bounce it back to your hand!"
Once more he swerved his bike, hitting the brakes as he drifted into a corner and taking it as an opportunity to point towards his opponent. Or rather, his monster. "I'll bounce back your Bahamut Shark to your Extra Deck!"
Then he accelerated to disappear into the corner, all while his Y-shaped monster shot a beam of lightning from its antennae, sending back the summoned XYZ Monster straight to the Extra Deck.
Shark's rage howled even further as he followed his opponent, slowing down and turning to the corner of the destroyed and uninhabited city as he chased after his prey. Only to see that his opponent had gone farther, and he pushed his throttles as he accelerated to catch up.
All while he continued with his turn, still intending to defeat his opponent. "Since I control a Water monster, I can special summon Silent Sea Nettle from my hand!" He shouted, summoning out the monster straight from his hand, the jellyfish-like monster appearing right beside the remaining dolphin.
Silent Sea Nettle - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 800/1300
"I'll take the Level 4 Minairuka, and the Level 4 Silent Sea Nettle, and overlay them!" The dark blue haired teen roared once again, and the two monsters on his field let out a squeal and a screech as they turned into blue pillars of light, and in front of him appeared a galactical vortex of black and gold.
"I'll make an overlay network with these two monsters! XYZ Summon!" And he accelerated even further, catching on the slipstream that his opponent was making and using it to go even faster. "Return! Bahamut Shark!"
And again, the XYZ Monster returned onto the field, roaring loudly as it came back onto the field.
Bahamut Shark - Water/Sea Serpent/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2600/2100 OV: 2
"And I will activate its effect!" He shouted. "Once per turn, I can detach a material from this card, to special summon a Rank 3 or lower Water XYZ Monster from my Extra Deck! But this card can't attack for the rest of the turn! God Soul!"
With that explanation done, the XYZ Monster roared as it absorbed one of its two overlay materials, using it as a cost to activate its effect.
Bahamut Shark - Water/Sea Serpent/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2600/2100 OV: 1
Then he took out a monster card form his Extra Deck, and he slammed it onto his motorcycle's duel blade. "Appear! Number 17: Leviathan Dragon!" With the XYZ material absorbed by the monstrous shark, the monster roared as a galactical vortex appeared beside him.
From it appeared a gigantic blue thing that resembled a heart, only for it to uncoil itself to reveal the large serpentine body that the monster had, spreading all three pair of its wings as the winged dragon roared, the mark 17 shining on its curved horns.
Number 17: Leviathan Dragon - Water/Dragon/XYZ/Rank 3/Effect: 2000/0 OV: 0
"A Numbers!? That rare line of XYZ Monsters-! So you just cheat a monster like that straight from your Extra Deck!?"
But he was nowhere near done. "Then I'll take the Rank3 Leviathan Dragon, and with it I'll reconstruct the overlay network!" The dark blue haired teen roared out as he sped up, slowly getting closer to his opponent as they raced throughout the city.
The gigantic serpentine dragon then re-entered the galactical vortex that appeared under it. And created another explosion of light as it does so. "Rank Up! Armored XYZ! Appear! Full Armored Black Ray Lancer!"
The monster that came out was, however, entirely different, as it was one that was don in pure black armour with dark orange highlights, and carrying with it a spear of pure darkness, the armored xyz monster then floated right beside Bahamut Shark as they raced to hunt their prey.
Full Armored Black Ray Lancer - Water/Beast-Warrior/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2100/600 OV: 1
"What the-how did you-!?" His opponent shouted with wide eyes, almost crashing into a piece of rubble, but the auto-pilot on his advanced Academia duel runner allowed him to evade it without him even doing anything.
"Full Armored Black Ray Lancer can be XYZ Summoned by using a Rank 3 Water XYZ Monster with no material." He shortly explained. "And it gains 200 attack for each material it has!" So he said as the monster was engulfed by a blue glow, its attack increasing slightly.
Full Armored Black Ray Lancer - Water/Beast-Warrior/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2300/600 OV: 1
"Then I'll also take the Rank 4 Bahamut Shark, and reconstruct the overlay network with it too!" He declared, hot on his opponent's tail as his first XYZ Monster reentered the black and gold spiral that it appeared from.
"Rank Up! Armored XYZ! Appear! XYZ Armor Fortress!" And reappeared onto the field completely changed, for instead of the monstrous shark that it had once been, this newly summoned XYZ Monster was more humanoid in appearance, being that of a mechanised giant of black and gold with blue underlinings, carrying on its shoulder a gigantic rocket powered bazooka.
All while two bright blue orbs orbited the XYZ Monster, representing the materials that it has on the field.
XYZ Armor Fortress - Water/Machine/XYZ/Rank 5/Effect: 2500/1800 OV: 2
"Another one!?" His opponent hissed, eyes wide and worry beginning to seep as he saw his opponent managing to play through his interaction, and getting two whole XYZ Monster easily onto the field.
"XYZ Armor Fortress can be XYZ Summoned using a Rank 3 or 4 XYZ Monster that I control, and transfers its materials to this card. And I'll use its effect!" Shark shouted, spending no time for his opponent as he continued on.
"Once per turn, I can detach up to 2 materials, to add 'Armored XYZ' cards with different names from my deck to my hand!" With that, he waved towards the XYZ Monster again. "I'll detach two!" And both materials were absorbed into the giant cannon wielding XYZ Monsters weapon.
XYZ Armor Fortress - Water/Machine/XYZ/Rank 5/Effect: 2500/1800 OV: 0
"And add Armored XYZ and Full-Armored XYZ to my hand!" Then he added the card to his hand, showing the Spell card and Trap card to his opponent before placing it onto his hand, four unknown cards still in his possession.
"Now battle!" Shark declared as he revved up his engine, managing to use the slipstream to pass his opponent. "I will attack your Worm Xex with Full Armored Black Ray Lancer! Black Bright Spear!"
The armored XYZ Monster then materialised its spear of darkness, weidling it on a reverse grip before launching it towards the monster in question.
"Tch! Well Worm Xex can't be destroyed by battle while Worm Yagan is face-up on the field!" Tetsu shouted back, announcing his monster's inability to be destroyed by battle.
"So what! You still take the damage!" Shark roared back as the attack hit, creating a cloud of dust and shaking the duel runner that the scarred man was riding as sparks of electricity came from it.
"Tch!"
Ushio Tetsu: 3500LP
"Again! I'll attack Worm Xex with XYZ Armor Fortress!" The other heavily armored water monster then followed up with an attack of its own, launching the gigantic shark-shaped torpedo from the cannon that it hefted on its shoulder.
Which hit the attack position alien squarely on its x-shaped body, the attack causing shockwaves as rubble fell from the ruined buildings above them. "Darn!" The Academia enforcer cursed as he took manual control, wincing from the electricity that sparked from his duel disk as he manoeuvred to escape the falling rubble.
Ushio Tetsu: 2800LP
And though his monster remained still on the field, the same could not be said for his position. As with that battle, Shark had managed to pass him and was now ahead. Giving his opponent a condescending smirk of his own.
"You cheeky little-"
"I'll set three cards face-down, and I'll end my turn." And then sending three whole cards from his hand face-down, ending his turn with two armored XYZ Monster, three face-down cards on his spell and trap zone, and two cards in his hand.
Tetsu would have been impressed, if he wasn't facing XYZ scum that is.
"Don't get too cocky, kid! At the End Phase the effect of W Nebula Meteorite activates!" He shouted loudly, revving his motorcycle as he did so. "During the End Phase where it's activated, I get to change all face-up Light Reptile-Type monsters I control to face-down Defence position, then draw a card for each of them!"
And waved forwards towards the two monsters in front of him. "I'll set both Xex and Yagan back down! And draw two cards!" The two monsters alien to this dimension were then flipped down, allowing the Academia enforcer to draw two new cards.
"Oh but that's not all! Because after that, I get to special summon a Level 7 or higher Light Reptile-Type monster from my deck too!" He said with a grin, taking out a card straight from his deck.
"What-!?"
"Come! Worm King!" And summoned onto the field a gigantic monster that rivalled his opponents XYZ Monsters, a giant four armed bipedal alien with golden scales, the monster hissing all the while as it appeared galloping in the air as it invaded the field.
Worm King - Light/Reptile/Level 8/Effect: 2700/1100
"Then it's my turn again! I draw!" So the scarred man shouted as he drew for turn, getting a third card onto his hand. He glances down towards it, and could only grin, a plan forming in his mind.
"I'll flip up Worm Yagan!" He shouted, flipping up the monster that he had set back again, and the y-shaped reptile monster reappeared onto the field. This time flipped to face-up attack position.
Worm Yagan - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 1000/1800
And had its attack and defence boosted thanks to the effect of Terrors in the Hidden City.
Worm Yagan - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 2500/3300
"Now Worm Yagan's effect!" He declared with a sadistic grin. "I'll target your XYZ Armored Fortress, and return it to your hand!" The man shouted as he pointed towards the monster, and the antennaed alien fired its beam towards the monster in question.
"I'll activate my set card, the Trap, Full-Armored XYZ!" Shark chained to the monster's effect, flipping up the set card that he had added on the turn prior. "If an XYZ Monster is on the field, immediately after this effect resolves, I can XYZ Summon an XYZ Monster using monsters that I control!"
Then the dark blue haired duelist motioned his hand forward towards the targeted monster. "I'll take the Rank 5 XYZ Armor Fortress, and reconstruct the overlay network with it!" And the monster then entered the black and gold vortex that appeared right under him.
"Oh not this shit again-"
"Rank Up! Armored XYZ! Appear from the darkest depths! Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer!" And from the depths of the galactical vortex came a gigantic black armored monster, with giant blade-like fins and pulsing red lines decorating its armour. In its hand was a blood three pronged lance that it carried with mastery, all while the singular blue orb orbited the monster.

"Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer gains 300 attack for each material and equip card it has." So he said, as the XYZ Monster's attack was boosted by the singular overlay material that it possessed.
Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer - Water/Aqua/XYZ/Rank 7/Effect: 3100/1500 OV: 1
With the monster essentially evolving, Yagan's effect then resolved without effect, much to Tetsu's chagrin. "Tch, how annoying. Well I'll use the effect of Worm King!" The Academia enforcer declared as the gigantic golden monster screeched.
"I can tribute a Reptile-Type 'Worm' monster to target a card you control, and destroy it!" He shouted, waving a hand forward. "I'll tribute Yagan, to target and destroy that new XYZ Monster of yours!"
"Tch! Then I'll use the graveyard effect of Full-Armored XYZ!" The maroon duel runner's rider said with a click of his tongue, activating the graveyard effect of the trap card that he had just used. "I can banish this card from my grave, to target an XYZ Monster I have, and equip another XYZ Monster from my face-up field or graveyard to that monster as an Equip Spell!"
"You're going to do what?!" Tetsu shouted with narrowed eyes. "And what exactly does that-"
"I'll target Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer, and equip to it Bahamut Shark!" The XYZ Duelist shouted as he ignored the opponent that was racing closer towards him, and behind the black and crimson lancer briefly appeared the ghostly form of the monstrous shark.
"That Equip Spell gives the equip monster attack equal to that monster's attack, and if the equip monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, I can destroy this card instead!" Shark shouted aloud, revving his engine to try and gain ground as his monster was engulfed by a blue glow, empowered by the equip spell and its own effect.
Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer - Water/Aqua/XYZ/Rank 7/Effect: 6000/1500 OV: 1
"Wha-6000 attack!? No-but it's not staying for long! Worm King! Tyranny Colony!" Tetsu shouted, overcoming his shock as the chain of effects resolved, with Worm King's lower body opening to reveal a gigantic maw, consuming Yagan and turning him into a beam of energy that it shot towards the now empowered dark knight.
An attack that it survived, as the crimson lance wielder cut through the beam of light, surviving it at the cost of the equipped XYZ Monster that it had just been equipped with.

"So what if it survives. I can just do it agai-"
"Now Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer's effect!" Shark shouted as he moved, seeing the destroyed road in front of him split into two paths and jumping off from a giant piece of rubble, using it as a makeshift ramp.
His opponent stared at him in disbelief, while he roared. "If an Equip Card becomes equipped to a monster that I control, I can attach a monster you control to this card as material!"
And at the apex of his jump, right before he landed on the elevated broken road, he pointed towards his target. "I'll take your Worm King, and absorbit to Dark Knight Lancer! Dark Soul Absorption!"
The crimson lance twirled in the monster's hand as he rushed towards the gigantic king of Worms, impaling it straight through with the weapon, and turning it into another of its overlay material.
"Worm King!" Tetsu shouted with wide eyes as he saw it all happen, unable to do anything as his opponent's monster returned to its summoner's side, and the rider of the maroon duel runner landed on the road above him.

"Tch! Why you little-!" Tetsu clicked his tongue, rage filling him as the engine of his motorcycle roared, its sounds filling the dead street of Heartland. "If that's how you want to play it then fine!"
The two continued to race, even with Shark taking the overpass above him, Tetsu knew a way to make the XYZ scum get down to where he belonged. "I'll activate the Continuous Spell, Future Fusion!" He roared.
And slammed the card right onto the holographic duel blade in front of him, the card's holographic projection appeared in front of him, and on the screen of Shark's duel runner for him to see.
"When this card is activated, I can Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck using monsters from my deck as fusion materials, and equip it with this card! But it can't attack or be tributed this turn!" He shouted aloud as it shone in front of him.
And right in front of him, multiple projections of skyscrapers littered the road, their lights shining as their forms seemed to distort time and space itself. "What the-" Shark mouthed out.
"I'll fuse Worm Apocalypse, Worm Cartaros, Worm Hope, Worm Jetelikpse, Worm Xex, and Worm Yagan straight from my deck!" The scarred man said with a manic grin, sending six whole monsters from his deck as they all appeared, littering the distorted landscape.
"Six monsters?! From the deck?!" Shark shouted with alarm, eyes wide as he saw the card's effect began to resolve.
"That's right! And I'll fuse all of them right here and now!" Tetsu shouted with glee as he raised his hands, as all the monsters forms distort along with the skyscrapers, time and space itself trembled with the card's activation.
"Oh originator from beyond! Invade this accursed land and bring your kind glory!" He chanted as he clasped his hand. "Fusion Summon!" And brought it down, the gigantic skyscrapers breaking as if it was glass.
"Appear! Worm Zero!" And now, floating high above the sky, oozing an unknown something to the road below, was a gigantic thing whose form almost resembled a human skull. The pulsating mass floating, following its summoner as they raced.
Worm Zero - Light/Reptile/Fusion/Level 10/Effect: 0/0
"What… the hell…" Shark said, eyes wide and the breath knocked out of him with the gigantic thing's appearance, briefly snapping back as he hit a bump from the broken road, taking his focus back to the riding duel. All while keeping an eye on the looming mass behind him.
"This before you, XYZ scum, is your doom!" Tetsu said with a grin. "Worm Zero gains 500 attack for each fusion material monster with a different name that was used to Fusion Summon it! Meaning with six materials, it now has 3000 attack!"
The looming gigantic thing then glowed with an ominous golden glow, its attack points rising, but not enough to rival his own monster.
Worm Zero - Light/Reptile/Fusion/Level 10/Effect: 3000/0
"Now I'll flip up Worm Xex!" He said, flipping up the other monster that he had, the x-shaped alien reptile was again revealed onto the field with all of its four eyed glory.
Worm Xex - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 1800/1000
"And with Terrors in the Hidden City, its attack and defence increased since it was flipped face-up!" he said with a grin, and Shark watched from above as the monster's attack and defence increased significantly.
Worm Xex - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 3300/2500
With that amount of attack, it could even trade for his Dark Lancer- "But I'm not done yet!" The scarred Academia enforcer said with a grin. "Because I'll activate the effect of Worm Zero!" He declared.
"Because Worm Zero gains effects according to the amount of different named Worms that I used for its summon! Since I used six monsters, I get to draw a card!" He said with a grin, drawing another card straight from his deck as the looming monster pulsated.
"And I'll use another one! Since I used four materials, I can remove from play a Reptile-Type monster from my graveyard, to send a monster on the field to the grave!" The man shouted aloud, raising a hand upwards towards the gigantic mass in the sky.
"What-!?"
"I'll remove Worm Jetelikpse, to send that Dark Lancer of yours to the grave!" The man said as he accelerated on his motorcycle, the gigantic mass high above him pulsing as it shot out a pillar of grey gooey flesh towards his armored XYZ Monster, sending it straight to the graveyard without even targeting it.
"Dark Lancer!" He shouted, clicking his tongue as he saw the monster being easily removed from the field.
"Oh but we're nowhere near done! Because I'll use the effect again!" Tetsu said with a howl. "I'll remove Worm Hope from my graveyard, to do the same for your Full Armored Black Ray Lancer!"
And the same happened to his remaining XYZ Monster, with a pillar of grey flesh being shot from the gigantic circular mass in the sky, sending the armored Beast-Warrior straight to the graveyard.
"And since I'm at it, I'll activate the Spell that I just drew, Snake Rain!" The man said with a grin, activating the card that he had just drawn off of Worm Zero's effect. "Which lets me discard a card, to send 4 Reptile monsters from my deck to the graveyard!"
Then showed one of the two cards that he had on his hand. "I'll pitch Worm Queen from my hand, to send another Worm Hope, another Worm Jetelikpse, another Worm Cartaros, and Worm Victory!" He said, discarding the monster and sending four more from his deck to the grave.
"And I'll use another of Worm Zero's effect!" The man said with a grin. "Since I used two or more materials for its summon, I can select a Reptile-Type monster in my grave, and special summon it in face-down defence position!"
Then he took out the card as he let his motorcycle's auto driving do its work. "I'll summon back Worm Victory! And set it face-down!" So he said as he freely summoned the monster, its six armed form briefly shown before it was set face-down.
"Battle!" The man declared with a wild grin, pointing forward with his hand. "I'll attack you directly with Worm Xex!" And the empowered green alien flew into the air and spat out an acidic goo from the centre of its body.
"Then I'll activate the Trap, Poseidon Wave!" Shark responded from his elevated position, glancing back to the offending monster as he flipped up one of his two remaining set cards. "When an opponent's monster declares an attack, I can target the attacking monster, negate the attack, and inflict 800 damage for each Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monsters that I have!"
"But since you have none you deal nothing then." His opponent said smugly, calm even as he saw the attack being negated, and he ended his Battle Phase. "Then I'll set another card, and end my turn."
And Tetsu set the last card he had face-down, ending his turn with a gigantic Fusion Monster, an even stronger flipped monster, a face-down one, two cards in his backrow set face-down, along with the Continuous Spell that made his flipped monsters stronger.
"On the End Phase, I'll activate the Trap Card!" Shark declared, flipping up the last card that he had as he accelerated. "XYZ Revive Splash!" He shouted the card's name as it shone.
"XYZ Revive Splash lets me target a Rank 4 or lower XYZ Monster in my graveyard, and special summon it! If I do, its Attribute becomes Water!" He shouted out, taking out one of the legal targets that he could use it on.
"I will target Full Armored Black Ray Lancer! And summon it back onto the field!" And with a wave, the armored XYZ Monster made a return onto the field.
Full Armored Black Ray Lancer - Water/Beast-Warrior/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2100/600 OV: 0
"Then it's my turn! I draw!" With the turn passing back to the dark blue haired duelist, he drew a card for turn, starting back with three cards in his hand to start his comeback. And he starts off as the elevated overpass once more intersected with Tetsu's own path, the two riders now once more racing on the same track.
"I'll start by using the effect of XYZ Revive Splash in my graveyard!" The teen declared, waving his hand outwards as he did. "I can banish this card from my graveyard, then target a Water XYZ Monster I control, and special summon from my Extra Deck a Water XYZ Monster that is 1 Rank higher than that monster by using it as material!"
And waved towards the only monster that he had. "I'll target Full Armored Black Ray Lancer, and use him to reconstruct the overlay network!" The armored monster let out a screech as it was consumed by the galactical vortex once more, turning into a giant pillar of light.
"Rank Up! XYZ Change! Appear! Valiant Shark Lancer!" The monster that took its place was its evolved variant, with giant fins sprouting from its armour as it swam it in the air as they raced throughout the city, carrying in its hand a more futuristic lance as it was summoned onto the field.
Valiant Shark Lancer - Water/Beast-Warrior/XYZ/Rank 5/Effect: 2500/1600 OV: 1
"Another XYZ Monster?! Do you just not run out of those?!" Tetsu grimaced from behind him, yet that expression didn't stay for long as it was replaced by a grin. "But that thing and its measly attack won't be enough to defeat my monsters!"
"I'll summon Lifeless Leafish from my hand!" And again, Shark ignored his useless ramble as he used his normal summon for the turn, summoning the skeletal fish onto the field.
Lifeless Leaffish - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 1500/1300
"And Its effect activates. When it's summoned, I can send a Fish monster from my deck to the grave except 'Lifeless Leaffish'." The dark blue haired teen explained as he took out another card from his deck.
"I'll send Crystal Shark from my deck to the graveyard. Then activate its effect!" So he said as he passed through more and more of the decrepit remains of Heartland. "I can target a Water monster on the field, special summon this card but its banished when it leaves the field, and halve that monsters attack!"
With the monster's graveyard effect explained, he waved his hand towards the target that he would choose. "I'll target Lifeless Leaffish, and special summon Crystal Shark!" And with his opponent not responding with any of their own cards, he summoned forth the majestic yet terrifying crystal-like shark from the depths of the ocean.
Crystal Shark - Water/Fish/Level 5/Effect: 1100/800
All while halving the attack the monster that he had targeted.
Lifeless Leaffish - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 750/1300
"Now I'll take the Level 4 Lifeless Leaffish, and the Level 5 Crystal Shark, and overlay them!" The teen who rode ahead shouted, the two monsters turning into blue pillars of light as a black and gold vortex appeared beside him as they rode.
"What!? But those two don't have the same levels?!"
"Crystal Shark can be used as a Level 3 or 4 for the XYZ Summon of a 'Number' monster. With these two monsters I will construct an overlay network! XYZ Summon!" And with that extremely short explanation, he began to chant.
"When slumbering powers of sea and earth weave, the light of new life bursts forth!" The two pillars of blue light entered the dark vortex, and created an explosion of light that lit up the desolated city. "Awaken, Number 37! Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark!"
And from it came a new XYZ Monster, one that came from the darkest depths, with multiple white and purple fins that protrude from its back, and a gigantic pair of claws that made it resemble a spider, a giant red mark of 37 shone from its right claw as it roared announcing its arrival.
Number 37: Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark - Water/Sea Serpent/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2600/2100 OV: 2
"Another XYZ Monster! And a Numbers at that-!"
"And from my hand, I'll activate the Spell Card, Armored XYZ!" He declared, playing the spell card that he had added on his previous turn. "Which lets me target a face-up monster I control and an XYZ Monster in my grave, equip that monster from my grave to that monster on the field as an Equip Spell!"
"Tch! So it gives it all the same effects like last time?" Tetsu scowled as he revved his throttle, going even faster in the act of catching up to his opponent, contemplating whether or not to use the cards that he had.
"I will target Valiant Shark Lancer and XYZ Armored Fortress, and equip them to one another!" And briefly the silhouette of the cannon carrying mechanical monster appeared behind the lance wielding XYZ Monster.
"While equipped, it changes the equipped monster's attack to this card's attack, the equipped monster gains this card's Attribute." Shark said, mentioning the important part of the card's effects that currently took place. "But as both are the same, nothing changes."
But that declaration instead made him even more suspicious, Tetsu narrowing his eyes at the activated effect that resolved. But still holding onto the card that he had.
"Battle!" Shark declared as he did the same as his opponent had before, swerving on his motorcycle to drift and turn towards the man that was catching up to him. "I will attack Worm Zero with Valiant Shark Lancer! Valiant Spear!"
And spinning the weapon in its hand, the armored Beast-Warrior swam up to the sky, bearing its weapon towards the gigantic mass of flesh that floated high above them all.
"Are you stupid or something kid? If you haven't' checked, my Worm Zero has higher attack than that flimsy XYZ Monster of yours!" The scarred man said with a hefty laugh, revving his engine as he attempted to catch up.
But instead of turning back to drive further, the XYZ duelist ahead of him instead revved his engine, driving straight towards him. "Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark's effect!" He declared aloud.
"What the-!?"
"When any player's monster declares an attack, I can detach one XYZ Material from this card, to reduce the attack of all monsters you control by 1000 points until the end of the turn!" So he said as the spider-like monster absorbed one of its two materials, using it for its effect.
Number 37: Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark - Water/Sea Serpent/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2600/2100 OV: 1
And from its claws spun a web of water that it splashed towards all of Tetsu's monsters, reducing their attack by a whole 1000 points.
Worm Zero - Light/Reptile/Fusion/Level 10/Effect: 2000/0
Worm Xex - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 2300/2500
"Tch!" He grunted as he took manual controls again, all to avoid the darned XYZ scum from crashing right onto him, both of them locking eyes as they missed one another by a hair's breadth.
And that made him miss the chance to interact with his opponent. He craned his head upwards as he stopped his motorcycle, watching the gigantic mass of flesh that was his Fusion Monster meeting its end with the attack of Valiant Shark Lancer.
With a flash of light, lance met flesh and a flash of light occurred, a giant explosion that covered the sky as a result of the battle.
"Gah!" Tetsu shouted as sparks alit from his motorcycle, the Academia enforcer crouching closer to the bike to protect himself against the resulting explosion, as he struggled to keep steady and not fall off from his vehicle.
Ushio Tetsu: 1800LP
And narrowed his eyes as he revved his engine again while looking at the amount of damage that he took. "What? How did I take 1000 damage-"
"I'll activate the effect of Right-Hand Shark! If I have no monsters and this card is in my graveyard, I can summon it back from the graveyard, but it's banished when it leaves the field!"
"Monsters equipped with XYZ Armored Fortress deal double damage towards you." The dark blue haired teen explained as he continued forward, a smirk on his face as he saw Tetsu shaken by the 'duel' that he initiated. "Then I will activate the effect of the Equip Spell! I'll send it to the graveyard to allow Valiant Shark Lancer to attack again!"
With that declaration, Shark then sent the equipped XYZ Armor Fortress, and once more allowing his monster to attack again, the lance wielding Beast-Warrior already preparing to strike once more.
"Tch! Fine then! I'll flip up my Trap Card!" Tetsu roared as he hit full throttle, riding as fast as he could to catch up to his opponent. "Trap Trick!" He shouted as one of the set cards was flipped face-up.
"This card lets me banish a normal Trap from my deck except another one of it, and if I do, I get to set a card with the same name directly from my deck! That card can be activated this turn, and I can only activate one Trap Card for the rest of this turn after this resolves!" He shouted aloud, taking out another card from his deck and revealing it.
"I'll banish a second W Nebula Meteorite, to set another one straight from my deck!" He shouted, banishing, revealing, and setting the card straight onto his field in that exact order, setting the third and last copy of the card.
"And I'll immediately activate it!" The scarred Academia enforcer shouted aloud, flipping the set trap card immediately. "And with it, I'll flip up my face-down defence position monster! Rise! Worm Victory!"
The gigantic red six armed monster then was flipped face-up, revealing its monstrous form for all to see.
Worm Victory - Light/Reptile/Flip/Level 7/Effect: 0/2500
Then the effect of Terrors in the Hidden City took effect, strengthening the monster even further as it was flipped up.
Worm Victory - Light/Reptile/Flip/Level 7/Effect: 1500/4000
"Worm Victory gains 500 attack for each Reptile-Type 'Worm' monster in my grave, so with Worm King, Worm Queen, Worm Xex, Worm Yagan, two Worm Cartaros, Worm Hope, Worm Apocalypse, Worm Jetelikpse, and Worm Zero, I have ten whole monsters in grave! Giving Worm Victory 5000 points of attack!"
The giant six armed red alien shone with golden light, its strength rising through the roof as it roared with power, reaching attack points higher than anything else that had graced the field so far.
Worm Victory - Light/Reptile/Flip/Level 7/Effect: 6500/4000
"6500 attack!?"
"But that's not all! I will use Worm VIctory's Flip effect!" He declared as his motorcycle came closer and closer, using the slipstream left from Shark's maroon machine to catch up. "When Worm Victory is flipped, I get to destroy all face-up monsters on the field except Reptile-Type 'Worm' monsters!"
Shark's eyes went wide, before they narrowed as he growled back. "Then I'll activate the effect of Valiant Shark Lancer!" He shouted, waving a hand outwards while the other steered. "I can target a monster you control, detach one material from a monster that I control, and if I do, I can destroy that card!"
And once again, he took a corner break to drift and see his opponent clearly, pointing towards the target of his effect. "And this effect is a Quick Effect if I control another Water XYZ Monster! I'll target your now face-up Worm Victory, detach the material on Valiant Shark Lancer, and destroy it!"
With that declaration done, he accelerated again, going off to the corner as his XYZ Monster swung its weapon of choice, consuming the one and only overlay material that it had to
activate its effect.
Valiant Shark Lancer - Water/Beast-Warrior/XYZ/Rank 5/Effect: 2500/1600 OV: 0
The chain of effects then resolved, with Tetsu following Shark into the corner, the armored Beast-Warrior launching its lance and stabbing through the six armed alien's body, destroying it.
But from the monster's remains a giant explosion was released, one that destroyed all but one monster that was on the field.
The cloud of dust soon passed, with only Worm Xex left on the field on Tetsu's side of the field, and both of Shark's XYZ Monsters were destroyed through the effect of Worm Victory's flip effect.
But the board state would not stay that way, much to the Academia enforcer's chagrin. "I'll activate the effect of Hope Woven Spider Shark!" The dark blue haired XYZ duelist roared out as he rode out of the cloud of dust.
"When this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the graveyard, I can target one other monster in my graveyard, and special summon it!" He declared as he drove further into the decrepit city of Heartland, with Tetsu following not far behind him.
And he took out a monster card straight from his graveyard. "I will target Buzzsaw Shark, and special summon it back! Spider Tornado Last Resurrection!" And through the Number XYZ Monster's floating effect, the saw finned shark then was summoned back onto the field.
Buzzsaw Shark - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 1600/500
"And I'll use its effect!" So the dark blue haired teen declared as soon as he moved forward from his Battle Phase to his Second Main Phase. "I'll target itself, to summon another Level 4 Fish monster from my deck!"
Then he took out another monster from his deck that fit that requirement. "I'll special summon Lantern Shark from my deck in defence position!" And summoned on a monster that's similar to the buzzsaw finned shark, the mechanical monster that resembled the velvet belly lantern shark then appeared onto the field.
Lantern Shark - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 1500/900
"Then I'll activate the effect of Silent Sea Nettle in my graveyard!" The dark blue haired teen declared as he waved a hand outwards. "I can banish this card from my graveyard, then target up to three Water monsters in my graveyard, and shuffle them into the deck!"
And declared the three targets. "I'll target XYZ Armor Fortress, Number 37: Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark, and Valiant Shark Lancer, and shuffle them all back to the deck!" So he said, choosing three of his XYZ Monsters that were in the graveyard and sending them back to the Extra Deck.
"I'll activate the effect of Abyss Shark in my hand!" Shark roared as he revealed the last card in his hand, showing another monster card whose effects he could activate as he rode ahead of his opponent.
"If all monsters that I control are Water, I can special summon this card, and if I do, I can add one Level 3, 4, or 5 Fish monster from my deck to my hand, except another copy of itself!" So he said, explaining the monster's effect on his hand.
And it was then summoned, the dark blue and golden finned mechanical monster appearing to the field as it swam in the air as its summoner rode on his maroon motorcycle, right beside all the other sharks that he had on the field.
Abyss Shark - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 1200/700
"Then I will add the Level 4 Fish, XYZ Remora to my hand." The shark duelist declared as he added the card to his hand, glancing back to see his opponent slowly but surely closing in on him.
"Now I'll take the Level 4 Buzzsaw Shark, and the Level 4 Lantern Shark, and overlay them!" He shouted as he raised his hand, the two monsters turning into blue pillars of light as a vortex of energy appeared once more, all while Tetsu could only watch.
"I'll construct an overlay network with these two monsters, XYZ Summon!" And said vortex of energy exploded into a pillar of light. "Appear once more! Valiant Shark Lancer!" And he summoned back the lance weidling XYZ Monster that he had returned back to his Extra Deck, the monster twirling its weapon of choice as it reappeared onto the field.
Valiant Shark Lancer - Water/Beast-Warrior/XYZ/Rank 5/Effect: 2500/1600 OV: 2
"You used two Level 4 monsters for a Rank 5!? That's-"
"Both Buzzsaw Shark and Lantern Shark can be treated as a Level 3 or 5 for the XYZ Summon of a Water monster." The shark duelist said as he glared back to his opponent, all while he avoided the rubble on the street.
"Then I'll use the effect of XYZ Remora in my hand!" Shark declared, revealing the last monster that he had just added earlier. "I can special summon this card from my hand by detaching two materials from monsters I control, and when summoned this way, I can target 2 Level 4 Fish monsters in my graveyard, and special summon them in defence position!"
And waved his hand forward towards the XYZ Monster that he had just summoned. "I will detach the two material from Valiant Shark Lancer, and summon XYZ Remora!" The two glowing orbs on the lance wielding XYZ Monster then disappeared, used to pay for the summon of the monster in his hand.

Shark then slammed the monster card onto his duel runner's holographic duel blade, and the green hammer headed shark then appeared onto the field.
XYZ Remora - Water/Fish/Level 4/Effect: 800/800
"Then I will special summon back both Buzzsaw Shark and Lantern Shark that I had detached!" The dark blue haired XYZ duelist then summoned forth the two monsters back onto the field, the two sharks roaring as they returned onto the field.

"Four whole monsters now!?" Tetsu hissed from behind him, trying to cut through and pass the teen, only for him to always move in front of him and prevent him from doing so. "Why you-"
"I'll take the Level 4 XYZ Remora, and the Level 5 Abyss Shark, and overlay them!" Shark shouted again, the two monsters being offered as materials for another XYZ Summon. "With these two monsters, I will construct another overlay network!"
The two pillars of light entered a galactical vortex that appeared beside him, and a giant pillar of light exploded from it. "XYZ Summon!" He shouted.

"Again XYZ-ing with the wrong levelled monsters-!"
"Abyss Shark can be treated as a Level 3 or 4 for the XYZ Summon of a 'Number' monster." The dark blue haired teen said with a glance, turning off on another corner suddenly to try and trip his opponent, only for his auto-duel function to track and copy the move.
He clicked his tongue in annoyance, but continued nonetheless. "Next I will take the Level 4 Buzzsaw Shark, and the Level 4 Lantern Shark, and overlay them!" He declared aloud, with the two mechanical sharks roaring as they turned into bright blue pillars of light.
"Another one-!? How many XYZ Monsters do you even have!?"
"With these two monsters, I will construct an overlay network! XYZ Summon!" He raised his hand as the two pillars of light crisscrossed one another, and both entered the black and gold vortex of energy that appeared before him.
So he began the summoning chant. "Fallen soul hidden in the asylum. Arise from the deep abyss and exterminate all!" And an explosion of light filled Heartland's desolate streets, and Shark's newest XYZ Monster took form.
"Take flight! Naphil Asylum Heth Knight!" And the monster appeared in its fullest, taking the form of a gigantic white and purple ship, with glowing red lines and golden accents decorating the vessel, fin-like blades helping it fly across the sky as if it was in water.
And two glowing blue orbs surrounded the XYZ Monster in question, representing the overlay material that it possessed as it was face-up on the field as it protected its summoner in defence position.
N.As.H. Knight - Water/Aqua/XYZ/Rank 5/Effect: 1700/2700 OV: 2
"And I'll end my turn." So he said as he passed his turn, ending with three whole XYZ Monsters on his side of the field, two of which having materials while one does not, no cards in his spell and trap zone and none remaining in his hand.
"Tch, then the effect of W Nebula Meteorite continues!" Tetsu roared from behind him, still looking for an opportunity to pass ahead of the XYZ Scum and defeat him. "I will set Worm Xex face-down, and draw a card!" He declared, setting the one remaining monster on his field face-down, and drawing an additional card.
"Then I will summon the second copy of Worm King!" And summoned out another one of the gigantic bipedal four armed alien, and the monster hissed out a screech as it appeared right into the field.
Worm King - Light/Reptile/Level 8/Effect: 2700/1100
"Fine then! It's my turn! I draw!" And with Shark's turn ending, Tetsu's turn then started, with him drawing a card for turn and getting back to two cards in his hand.
And before he even entered his Main Phase, Shark decided to use one of his cards. "I will activate the effect of Valiant Shark Lancer!" He roared, waving out to the XYZ Monster without any overlay material on his field.
"I will target your Worm King, detach a material from Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark, and destroy it!" He shouted aloud as the lance wielding armored XYZ Monster spun its weapon in hand, entangling the spider-like Sea Serpent's overlay unit to use it for its own effect.
Number 37: Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark - Water/Sea Serpent/XYZ/Rank 4/Effect: 2600/2100 OV: 1
"It can detach another monster's XYZ Material!?" Tetsu shouted in shock.
"I've already explained it earlier, you Fusion trash." The dark blue haired teen said with a scowl, spinning his duel runner to face his opponent as he drove backwards. "I'll destroy your Worm King!"
And the armored Beast-Warrior threw its lance towards the gigantic golden invader, the alien letting out a death screech as it was impaled, destroying it and turning it into golden particles that dissipated in the air.
"Tch!" Tetsu grunted as he held out an arm to guard himself from the cloud of dust that the monster's destruction made, and finally entered his Main Phase. "Fine then! I'll fli[ up Worm Xex!" And flipping the monster he had set earlier back face-up, the x-shaped alien's screech heard throughout the city as it came to being.
Worm Xex - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 1800/1000
And with Terrors in the Hidden City being face-up, it grants an additional boost in its attack and defence.
Worm Xex - Light/Reptile/Level 4/Effect: 3300/2500
"Then I'll activate the effect of Worm Yagan in my graveyard! I'll special summon it again!" And used the effect of the monster that had been sent to the graveyard with Future Fusion on his previous turn, as he only controlled Worm Xex on the field.
"Fine then! How about this XYZ Scum?! I'll activate a second Future Fusion!" Tetsu shouted as the card's art shone, and the tall structures formed once more.
"Tch! A second one!"
"This time I'll send the last copies of Worm Xex, Worm Yagan, Worm Cartaros, and Worm Apocalypse, and fuse all of them!" He declared, sending the four monster cards straight from his deck, and their distorted forms appeared above him.
"Oh originator from beyond! Return and invade this accursed land and bring your kind glory!" He chanted as he clasped his hand. "Fusion Summon!" And brought it down, the gigantic skyscrapers that Future Fusion had summoned broke as if they were glass.
"Appear! Worm Zero!" With the chant completed a second copy of the monster then took from high above the city's skylines, the gigantic skull-like monster looming over them all as they raced.

"And since I used 4 differently named monsters as materials, its attack goes to 2000 points!" Tetsu shouted as the monster was engulfed by a golden glow, its attack points rising high as it was summoned onto the field.

"Then I will use N.As.H Knight's effect!" Shark declared as the Fusion Summon resolved, glaring at the opponent that was behind him. Remembering what the opponent's Fusion Monster could do with 4 materials under it and intending to remove it before he had a chance of even using it, a plan already forming as he took in his surroundings, accelerating and creating distance from his opponent.
"During the Main Phase, as a Quick Effect, I can detach two materials from thai card, attach one 'Number' XYZ Monster from my Extra Deck to this card as a material that has a number between '101' and '107' in its name, then attach another face-up monster to this card as material!" He shouted, explaining the monster's effect.
"What!? That kind of effect-"
"I will detach both materials from N.As.H. Knight!" The dark blue haired duelist shouted as he raised his hand high, the two orbiting materials of the gigantic vessel being absorbed to its hull as the red lines that ran across it shone bright.

"And I will attach Number 101: Silent Honor ARK to it as material!" Then took out a card straight from his Extra Deck, showing it to the opponent that was behind him, and placing it under the XYZ Monster that activated its effect.

Only to once more swerve, turning a full 180 and meeting his opponent face to face, launching another head to head duel as he then accelerated again. "Not this again-!" The Academia enforcer cursed, readying himself for another clash.
"I will attach your Worm Zero to it as material!" Shark roared as right before both of their duel runners could crash, he used another piece of fallen debris as a ramp, jumping over his opponent who could only gape.

"Fine then! Then I'll go to the Battle!" The man roared, pointing forward towards the monsters that he had. "I'll attack that XYZ Monster of yours! Worm Xex, attack N.As.H Knight!"
With a screech the green invader obeyed its master's command, leaping into the air and shooting out a green toxic spit from its maw, one that hits directly towards the gigantic vessel that was Shark's XYZ Monster.
Only for it to do nothing, not even dealing damage as the monster that he attacked was in defence position.
"What!?" Testu shouted as he almost leapt out from his vehicle. "How is it not destroyed?!"
"Hmph, N.As.H. Knight can't be destroyed by battle while a 'Number' monster is on the field." The dark blue haired duelist said as the spider-like dragon shark that was on his field roared, the one Number monster that was on his field, preventing it from being destroyed.
"Why-you-Damn you XYZ Scum!" The scarred Academia enforcer shouted with gritted teeth, moving past his Battle Phase and moved on towards his second Main Phase. "Fine then! How about this!?"
He took out one of the last card in his hand, and slammed it onto his duel runner's holographic blade projection. "I'll use the Spell, Polymerization!" He shouted, as the spell card's projection appeared before him as he turned around to try and catch him again.
"I'll fuse both Worm Xex and Worm Yagan in my field!" He shouted as he raised both of his hands, letting his duel runner's auto pilot as he restarted the summoning chant for the third time of the duel.

"Appear once more! Worm Zero!" And for the last time, the gigantic monster took force above them, this time being summoned in defence position instead of attack as the skull-like monster loomed over them.

"And since I used 1 differently named monsters as materials, its attack goes to 1000 points." Tetsu grimaced at how low the monster's attack was, a notion as to why he summoned in it defence position in the first place.

"Then I will use its effect!" Yet he was not without vigour as he roared out, waving a hand out as he declared the activation of the monster's effect. "Since I used two monsters for its summon, I can select one Reptile-Type monster in my graveyard, and special summon it in face-down defence position!"
Done with explaining the monster's effect, he took out a monster from his graveyard to summon it back onto the field. "I'll summon back Worm Victory in defence position!"
And slammed the monster card onto his duel blade projection that was on his duel runner, summoning back the six armed crimson alien which let out a screech, before it was then set face-down, Terrors in the Hidden City giving it protection while it was face-down.
"Then I'll end my turn." The Academia enforcer said with a scowl, ending his turn with no cards in hand, a single set card that he had had since the first turn still set on the field.
"Then it's my turn, I draw!" Shark roared as he took on a card for the turn, having one card in hand to start off. He glanced towards the card, and immediately play it. "I will activate the Spell, White Mirror!"
With playing the spell card on his duel runner's duel blade, the card's effect then played. "White Mirror allows me to target one Level 4 or lower Fish monster in my graveyard, special summon it, then I can add one monster from my deck to my hand with the same original name as that special summoned monster!" He shouted, explaining its effect.
"I will special summon back Minairuka, and add another copy of it to my hand!" He shouted as the bright blue dolphin returned onto the field, letting out a squeal as it was summoned, and its summoner adding another copy of itself to his hand.

"And I will summon another one of it!" So he shouted, summoning a second copy of the bright blue dolphin which he used his normal summon on, filling all of his monster zones with monsters.

"And I will use its effect!" He declared, still continuing on. "I can banish one face-up Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua monster that I control, then target one face-up card on the field, and negate its effects until the end of your turn!"
"What!? An effect that negates a face-up card on the field?! But what would you even-"
"I will banish the other Minairuka, and negate the effect of Terrors in the Hidden City!" And the two blue dolphins danced with one another, with the one that was summoned first turned into a ball of water, which the other then slapped with its tail, shooting it towards the Continuous Spell, negating its effect until the end of the next turn.
"That's-!?" Tetsu shouted in alarm, now knowing what his opponent was aiming for, for now that it had no protection from targeting, the card that was his last resort, Worm Victory, was now able to be targeted.
"Then I will take N.As.H. Knight, and use it to reconstruct the overlay network with it!" The dark blue haired teen shouted again, raising his hand as the gigantic vessel was then reabsorbed into the galactical vortex that appeared below it.
"Another one-"
"Rank Up, Chaos XYZ Change!" But unlike all the other chants for him reconstructing XYZ Monsters, the chant was different, as a giant pillar of red light then shone. "Fallen guardian of souls, become the dark knight and exterminate the light!"
And he roared out as he finished the chant. "Appear! CXYZ Naphil Asylum Chaos Knight!" The gigantic vessel's form had changed as the pillar of light subdued, with it changing into a gigantic spear wielding warrior, one coloured purple and black, with lines of glowing red, multiple wing-like fins decorating its armour, along with a golden crown on its head.
It was certainly, the fully evolved form of the XYZ Monster, the vessel's true form having taken in the power of chaos.

"And I will activate its effect!" The shark duelist shouted as he accelerated even further. "I can detach one material from this card, to special summon from my Extra Deck, one 'Number' XYZ Monster that has a number between '101' and '107' in its name, using this face-up card that I control as material, but it is destroyed during your next End Phase!"
And with a wave of its spear, one of the three glowing blue orbs of the giant XYZ Monster, absorbing it into itself to use its effect, leaving him with two left.

The XYZ Monster then raised its now shining spear, as a crimson glow shone from it, one that then engulfed the entirety of the XYZ Monster's form. Guardian of souls that have yet to mature, become the dark knight and crush the light! Appear! Chaos Number 101: Silent Honor DARK!"
And it then reappeared with a changed form, one whose armour's shape was extremely similar, with only the colour being different, coloured with black and shining red lines, along with a shining blue 101 in a piece of their right armour, carrying with it a crimson spear.

"And I will activate its effect!" He shouted aloud. "Once per turn, I can target one special summoned monster that you control, and attach it to this card as material!" He said, explaining the effect.
The dark blue haired teen then swerved on the road once more, setting the pace as he turned around a corner and pointing towards the one monster that he would attach. "I will target your face-down Worm Victory! Dark Soul Robber!"
The black armored XYZ Monster's chestplate then shone, along with all the red lines that it possessed on its body, as it then raised its spear, shining crimson light towards the face-down monster, the red six armed monster briefly flashing on the field before it was absorbed and turned into a overlay material.

"Darn it-!"
"Now, battle!" Shark shouted out, raising his hand as he moved on to the Battle Phase. "I will attack your Worm Zero with Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark!" And the giant spider-like shark roared, swimming up towards the sky and slicing the gigantic lump of mass in twine.
"GUAGH!" He screamed as the explosion rattled him, almost causing him to lose his grip on the motorcycle, the autopilot mechanism allowing him to avoid the many rubble that fell aw well. Though he didn't lose Life Points from the battle, it still left him with no monsters left in his field.
"Now finish this! Silent Honor DARK!" He shouted as he looked back and pointed towards his opponent, and the spear wielding XYZ Monster complied as it readied itself to strike.
"Kuh! FIne! I'll flip my set card!" The man declared, flipping up the card with a roar. "Necro Fusion!" And the trap card's card art shone on the field, shining in all of its glory.
"Necro Fusion lets me Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck by banishing fusion materials mentioned on it from my graveyard face-down, but it can't attack this turn!" The man shouted out, and declared the target for its effect.
"I will banish three copies of the Level 10 Worm Zero, and fuse all of them!" He shouted as all three gigantic skull-like monsters briefly appeared above them, only for their forms to distort as they became fused into a single being.
"The three become one, thereby awakening the ultimate spell from the horizons of space-time! Fusion Summon! Come forth, Phantasm Emperor Trilojig!" And with a flash of black and blue came a whole new monster, one that took the form of a gigantic creature that dwarfed over Shark's XYZ Monsters, clad in purple and gold, and watching down as if all was beneath it.

"And then Trilojig's effect activates!" He roared out. "If this card is special summoned, or if another monster is special summoned from the graveyard to my field while I control this monster, I can target one face-up monster you control, and inflict damage to you equal to half its original attack!"
Then he pointed towards the monster with the largest monster on his opponent's side of ethe field. "I will target your Silent Honor DARK, and burn you for half of its attack!" He declared, as the gigantic Fusion Monster, raised its hand, power gathering within it.
"Then I will activate the effect of Valiant Shark Lancer! I'll target your Fusion Monster, detach a material from Silent Honor DARK, and destroy it!" And he responded with the effect of his own monster, the lance wielding armored Beast-Warrior detaching the Chaos Number's overlay unit to activate its one effect.

And the effect soon resolve, and the gigantic Fusion Monster was impaled with the thrown spear like all of the others before him, but not before it shot a pulse of power towards the darkly dressed XYZ duelist, who grit his teeth as he received the damage.

But nothing essentially changed, for the Academia enforcer's field was once more barren, and Shark still had monsters to attack him with. "Finish it all!" He roared as the Number monster redeclared its attack, striking the scarred man directly.
"GUAAAAAAGH!" And the strike sent him flying off of his chosen vehicle, landing him harshly in the destroyed remains of Heartland as his motorcycle crashed into the decrepit building, creating a cloud of dust while its rider tumbled harshly on the ground below.
Yet even so, the titular chime of his Life Points reaching zero could be hear.

With his prey now defeated, Shark slowed down his ride as he soon then stopped right in front of the fallen man, stepping down from his maroon machine as he looked down at the Academia enforcer.
Who in turn, glared back up. "You… XYZ scum…" He groaned out.
"The same could be same to you, Fusion trash." The teen growled as he detached his duel disk from the duel runner, placing it on his left hand before pointing it towards him.
Having been on the other end of this, Tetsu's eyes went as wide as it could. "Wha-Nonononono please-!"
From the ruined remains of Heartland, a light shone in its once bustling street.
And the predator continued to hunt its prey in what once was its territory.
