Chapter 5 Blue: Family Secrets
It was soon another brand new morning over the kingdom of vacou again. As right now everyone was awake starting their day with some light training right now. As going back and forth with each other was sean and bullet who liked to fight with their fist. But they kept fighting back and forth with each other as others watched
"Man these two like to box don't they"rio commented
"Yep since my daughter wives decided to just teach them that. God seeing some tots creating a boxing championship was funny"xosha said whipping a tear off her eye finding it funny
"Your kidding right?"valentina asked but she shook her head
"We aint lying i mean one day we walked in on a bunch of tots playing boxing champion from what i recall. It was just them tugging and biting at each other till one of them cried. "Hawk mentioned with a smile seeming much older now from over the years with nyx still staring at her hands from yesterday clenching her fist for a moment
Which someone noticed that being bonnet who was with them today"hey kid you doing okay right now?"she asked as she glanced up for a brief moment
"You keep staring at your hands since this morning"miu pointed out
"Whats up you still confused how you don't remember whooping butt yesterday"trey asked but she didn't remember that at all all she remembers is hearing some guys voice then she slipped into some black void for a moment then she woke up with everyone on the ground right now.
"The thing is i don't remember that which is the weird part. Ughhhh stupid headaches…and…ummm…"nyx paused eyeing her new girlfriend for a moment with some of them staring at her
"What? Is something up?"desmond questioned as his tail swayed with her cupping her chin sighing heavily
"I dont know its just…i…i heard voices….i heard someone talking to me during the exercise yesterday"nyx said rubbing her head making them stare at her as close by nix was their staring at her
"Are you insane like your dad? Don't tell me you have some bug in your back"nix questioned but she shook her head
"No i don't just….well…some guy spoke to me yesterday someone in a jackal mask. He said let me show you how to fight. The same thing happened during the double round with some women. But…well…both of them kinda looked similar to someone"nyx said as they stared at her
"Like who?"trey asked as she held her head
"They looked liked anubis and kuroi graves"nyx said making her sibling look at her weird right now hearing those names

While having a modest bust size to her, the main outfit she wore was some light grey form fitting tights underneath a pair of purple booty shorts presenting her curves. "Sunita what are you doing here?"autumn asked
"Coming to say hi i have the day off from the family bookstore. Seems your going through bootcamp…ughhh i'm glad my parents don't make me do that"sunita replied as jingliu hummed for a moment
"Back to the topic at hand you said your hearing voices? Are you sure?"jingliu asked as her girlfriend nodded
"Yeah i mean it was weird…never had before till now"nyx said with miu having an idea
"Hey lets just go back to the house and check out the library to see if we can scrounge anything up. I mean after training we got nothing else to do."miu suggested as it sounded like a soldier plan
"Good idea besides if sis is you know what….i kinda wanna see how someone can control it"trey said with an eager smile as they continued training but right now bonnet kept a close eye on them just incase right now
Back at the house right now inside a secret part of the house that being a cellar was slade. But by his side was nadia, declan, gouken, miles and elm who was sighing rubbing her back right now for a moment
"God running around in this house to treat all those sick people is killing me. Especially with the little ones. God we need to find a cure soon…they all keep crying for it to stop"Elm said with a worried look making the tiger faunus bite her nails
"Stop it ederne your scaring me. I'm worried too god my wife is probably worried sick right now since i told them they got sick. I even begged her to stay in atlas to keep the others safe"nadia whined as her tail swayed
"Well were stuck keeping an eye training them but after yesterday i'm concerned. Because that girl took down eight trained guards in mere seconds after being tossed around"gouken pointed out as that was strange. Though slade coughed and hacked a little into his hand making miles stare at him

"I am kid just dusty in this place but well…my wife told me a certain secret before her passing something held with only a few of us mainly people within the council. And those who train the archangels from the notes we have"slade explained
"Let me guess that tammy women is one of them?"declan asked as he nodded
"She was the student of the previous one who did it that what her positon is now after the old one passed. That man was stubborn but we luckily convinced him to hold off on their training for a while. Though that women she just wants to get straight into training thankfully only some of them are here right now"slade said coughing again for a brief moment sighing
"Right how we have i don't know thirteen of them with the rest of them being spread around the world. Lucky us"nadia said as they have maybe only half of these apparent archangels with these children. As miles tapped his chin for a moment
"So why did you even call us here is it after yesterday little show?"miles asked
The old man nodded before walking over to something that being a small chest he brought. Opening the latches on it he revealed something an ancient looking tome but it was different. It had a symbol of a knight on it with their being the gravekeepers symbol on it. But what struck them surprised was it being colored pure white for some reason
"Whats this thing….its just a small book"gouken said seeing how small the page count was as the old man sighed eyeing the doors as he knows their locked up tight but he placed a hand on the book
"This is another secret we hide in within the family not many of us know about it. But its just a simple story a story of someone special with lucifer gift. You all recall how he had a white colored semblance?"slade asked as the only few who seen that nodded
"We have but why bring this up right now"elm asked as he opened the book revealing a small picture of lucifer as it seemed hand drawn but he pushed it forward gesturing for them to read the passage on it.
"Read that"slade said with nadia staring down at the passage taking it beginning to read it right now
"This journal contains information detailing the information on our family archangel. But once every few hundreds year their have been three other archangels with one color that is very rare in the family. The color white of someone armor form symbolizes a great status within the family. They are rumored to be more connected with the archangels than any from the past just like…ozma in a way"nadia said eyeing that passage strangely as declan looked confused
"Why is it bringing up ozpin old name?"declan asked with the merc sighing
"You recall how that man had multiple lives right? Every time he connected with a new host he could show them his past lives?"slade asked as they thought about it for a moment
"Well he could do that yes. But….wait are you implying that girl is like him"elm asked but she was partial right

"The archangels sharing lucifer colors of his armor had figured something out. The first told others of hearing voices he was dismayed. But eventually his stories where told true showing the skills and abilities of the previous archangels before them. Being able to communicate with the previous archangel without the need for spilling blood. Like…a…ghost on their shoulder..talking to them beyond the grave"nadia said with a stunned look continuing to read as they listened
"But they also have the ability to take over the current archangels bodie but only with permission from them. Unlike ozma curse they don't take over their bodie over time. But the ones bestowed with that gift used it sparingly to seek guidance or assistance in dark times from the previous archangels"nadia explained aloud finishing it.
Their was a brief moment of silence between all of them right now as they heard this story. With declan cupping his chin in complete shock right now hearing this snapping his fingers
"Wait the tournament my daughter mention she acted strange during her double match saying a women talked to her in shinobi like attire. You don't think…"Declan stopped as the old man nodded

But as the old man was he kept coughing into his hands for a bit before pulling his hand back going wide eyed. As on his hand was some blood with him keeping a secret on him carrying this strange plague right now.
But right now inside of the house after their little training exercise nyx and the others decided to check out these weird visions right now. Mainly with her was nova, jingliu, sunita,rio, trey, miu, simone and desmond. With them was bonnet keeping a close eye on them right now as trey sighed stretching his back out
"Man its weird having to go to the dusty old library in the house. I mean the only ones in here are thaddeus and our nearby siblings"trey said as miu rolled her eyes
"Whats wrong with being just a little smart?"miu questioned as she was one to talk as ahead of them was keres who giggled at her
"Your not the brightest bulb in the draw sis"keres taunted but her tiger sister growled grabbing her by her hair as she whined from her gripping her hair tight
"If you think of some smart way to call me dumb keres your mince meat"miu warned
"Ughhh fine jerk!"keres shouted as she let her go soon enough they arrived at the library opening it. It was a simple room with their being shelves upon shelves of books right now with their being alot of subjects on history, science, fiction, fantasy and so many others right now. But their was someone in their right now seeming to be reading that being trish who was reading a book as by her side was erebus
"So your saying this story is about some traveling warrior who had a dark past. But then they found a purpose worth living for?"trish asked
"That the gist of it. Weird that you asked for help on reading i thought you'd read a few books"Erebus replied but the cyborg girl rubbed the back of her neck sighing

That being a lightly tanned women with dark blue eyes along with dark purple hair reaching her lower back. Along with sporting a pair of black form fitting jeans with a dark purple blouse top on showing some clevage along with sporting a pair of purple character shoes.
As sunita flinched"mom! I umm…i thought you were at the family bookstore today?"she asked as the women sighed
"Nope! Because its on the bad side of the capital right now covered head to toe in some grimm and well a few cultist. Pricks are probably burning my new items in stock i bought before the festival"yama said in anger as bonnet sighed
"It'll be fine kid though question any idea what your cousin daughter is on about?"bonnet asked with yama humming tapping her chin shaking her head
"No but maybe if look at some of the notes from previous archangels in journals they wrote. They should be over their"yama said gesutring to something that being a very heavily guarded looking case covered with heavy metal chains and id scanner on it seems. "Its for a good reason these are the journals of the archangels from the past. All of them have detailed notes on their journeys, important moments and life and their teaching. Like the main family book their important. But they don't have all the secrets you can read em since well…dear god an archangel"yama said to the wolf faunus who was still giddy about that
"I know right i'm so happy i can talk about in the houses its so cool. But i hate having to wear this dumb bracelet"nyx said but bonnet slipped up
"Well if you went into your archangel form you might tear someone arm and leg off like your dad did as a kid…..oh shit"bonnet siad realizing she opened her big mouth as the teens stared at her in shock right now as nova nervously backed up
"Ummmm did…did that really happen?"nova asked as someone close by spoke up
"Ohhh it did but your father hasn't lost control in years since that day"miller said walking surprised to see him here right now
"Wait uncle cho what are you doing here? I thought you left for the patch"miu asked but the man sighed staring at them for a moment sharing a look with bonnet who looked away
"I was just sent to check over schnee and the others their. Besides good news that daughter of ruby is on her feet and kicking right now"miller said making the wolf faunus confused to hear that about her cousin
"Wait did rosa get hurt?"nyx asked as they shared some looks
"Ummm sis she was in a coma for a couple days"simone explained to her sister shock hearing that she was in a coma. But that was a little hurtful to hear hoping that cousin of hers is okay. They had their own little spats before but she glad shes the team leader because now she can focus on this rather than being worried about being responsible for their team status and strategies.
"I didnt know that sucks to hear…but….ummm did…did that really happen with dad?"nyx asked with a scared look as the two soldier swapped some looks as bonnet sighed
"Look your pops never had control of it back then. I..i can't tell you much kiddios but all i can say is that when we found your dad. All we found was a scared having no idea where he was or who he is. He accidentally took that women arm and leg but he learned to control it after well…maybe close to a decade"bonnet said making he wolf not like the sound of that just a little right now.
Though yama eyed the bookcase walking over placing her hand on the scanner as it light up before turning green letting her know she was accepted access

As she scanned and skimmed them she spotted one as she grabbed it pulling it out walking toward them. In her hands was a old looking journal seeming to be made of bamboo and string with mistral decor on it. But the name on it read "kuroi graves"
"You know i wouldn't usually do this but i heard you all passed the test wanna hear one of the stories from the book if i can find it. Maybe it can help her with her weird voice in her head problem"yama said making miller look confused on that for a moment.
"Yes! Please let it be something cool!"keres begged as she chuckled flipping through finding something right now
"Okay picture this kiddos"yama said beginning to read the journal entry
"It was a long night when i was sent out to deal with a small cluster of those loyal to mistral emperor. We made camp but at the time we ran into someone who was loyal to the emperors queen that he followed with a whim. But once we arrived the filth was executing a whole town of people"she started
'And this got weird and sad"trey joked as bonnet rolled her eyes

The rarest one being a set of siblings born on the same day. The one called yin was very annoying as she seemed rather childish about being told her true heritage to the family. While her brother was calm and collected the entire time. We made campfall before we decided to strike at night."she continued
"Wait…do you have share the position of archangel if their are multiple of them"miu questioned with a curious look as yama nodded
"Your going to have to especially you kid. But after that little pause says here they made a strike on the camp. Making sure to get rid of any enemies that stood in their way before finally assassinating their target. But it came with a terrible cost of well kuroi being poisoned by a deadly form of venom. He forced some vial down her throat which was well a deadly toxin that broke her body down slowly. But didn't stop her from making a little code that she always lived by"yama said about to say but in nyx head something echoed in her mind
"We live by the shadows and strike quickly to kill our foes. No one will see us coming neither grimm"nyx said but her voice sounded like someone else was talking briefly as they stared at her
"You good kid?"miller asked as she held her head shaking it with yama quickly locking the book up placing it in their as she stared at her
"Well…guess i know what you mean by having someone else talk thats creepy. How'd you know that?"yama asked
"I..i don't know"nyx admitted
"And this got creepy…okay i'm heading home i need a nap"rio said as they left the room but walking down the hallway was onxyia who looked over smiling seeing them

"Ummm are we in trouble right now? Because if we are i blame keres she always drags us into thing"trey said as keres spat her tongue out at him but the women smiled as she was carrying something a dark blue case right now as close behind her was lilith who sighed
"Dear don't run ahead of me. I know you wanted to try and let her see it before my nephew comes back but please wait that case means alot to me and my siblings"liltih said
"Wait what is it?"nova asked but onxyia smiled at her daughter for a moment walking over as they stared at the case. But the grave siblings recognized the case seeing it was none other than nightshade with nyx placing a hand on the case
"Wait dad weapon he left it?"she asked but was corrected
"This is actually your grandmother by blood your grandmother hel. Who was your father blood mother who gave birth to him. This little weapon belonged to her"onxyia said as they stared at it for a moment but was curious why she had it
"But why do you have it?"miu asked as the wolf faunus chuckled staring at her daughter
"Well i don't know where that gift your father made for you is because you know him he has his secret little workshop hidden somewhere. Full of weapons he made over the years some meant for some of you i'm sure. But well the weapon he made for you functions like your grandmother weapon. Me and lilith found it in the main bedroom me and your mom share and well…i thought it would be nice for you to get some practice in with it"onxyia said
This made her daughter by blood feel very honored gently holding it with some care eyeing it down for a moment before smiling holding it close
"I…i'll make sure i don't bust it before dad comes back…could i maybe try it tomorrow"nyx asked as she humed
"How about at Saru place that little dojo your aunt is running rio. It'll be less chaotic and besides i'm sure lilith here wouldn't mind showing you how it works"onxyia said as the women chuckled
"I may not dabble in weapons but i stuck around her long enough. Come along now where preparing dinner for the night join us"lilith said as they walked away but the young faunus stared at the weapon of her grandmother with pride but had a nervous look on her face about her new form of her semblance
Meanwhile in another part of the house as in the medical ward right now. Everyone was working very hard to try and provide for the people here in the room giving them proper medical aid for their current coniditons. But it was proving rather hard as some of them where at different stages with this strange new plague from this gas
As doing their best to try and help where they can was wanda and harper along with caveria. As the three of them where bringing medicine to those in needs right now along with some food. With caveria right now fluffing the pillow of a younger sibling who was coughing hard groaning in pain as she sighed
"I know little sister i know it hurts. Just lay down we got you"caveria said placing a rag in a bin soaking it before taking it out. Ringing it out the water dripped into the bucket as she placed it on the little girl head who coughed hard wheezing a little
"It hurts…i don't feel good"she cried as her sister rubbed her head with a worried look sighing but close by someone spoke up
"Your doing a good job sweetie. Just keep focusing on your siblings we can ride this out"shelly said coughing right now as she was in some pajamas consitng of an olive shirt with a pair of black sweatpants on. But close by dina coughed for a moment sniffing with a running nose
"Shut up shelly your just as sick. But she right keep looking out for your siblings kiddio…they need the help more"shelly said but harper sighed shaking his head
"Mom you need help too don't tell us not to help you. You raised us better than that…except for mom over here she was a little pervy when we got older"haprer said gesturing to riley who had a cheeky wave
"You know it"riley said before going into a coughing fit wheezing harder and harder with each cough. But elm was their with some medical gloves on before gently pushing the women to lay back down as she sighed
"Lay down kid you need the rest"elm said but close by laughing going into a small cough was star who got moved here as the women laughed at her a little
"Funny elm…you saying their kids your not that much older than them. Besides…you haven't had this for almost a month..ughh…my throat"Star said with a very raspy throat as juliet walked over to her making her lay down as the women sighed
"You need to rest as well dear. All of you do…god right now this is just a entire shelter for sick people"juliet said but close was eve who laughed sitting in a light blue top with a pair of fluffy pink pants ont.
"Yeah all we need is the patient that harasses the hot nurse…pinch"eve said pinching her on the hips making her blush as she almost dropped a tray full of some bottled water and juice. With some of the teens right now snickering at her along with some of that women wives as juliet glared at eve who smiled back
"Stop it you. Once your all better we plan on having a grand little feast together besides…how are you three doing?"juliet asked with harper sighing as he rubbed his neck for a brief moment
"Good right now wouldn't mind a break for a few minutes"harper said as star coughed for a moment sitting up rubbing her head for a brief moment
"Well i wouldn't mind stretching my legs maybe go see if carmine needs one. Women been working around the clock i heard in that mini lab she has here."star said but elm tried to stop her
"Just lay down star you don't need to keep on moving around so much"elm said but star scoffed pushing her away stumbling slightly but she began to walk toward the women office as wanda stared at her confused
"Is she going to be okay?"wanda asked as juliet sighed
"I don't know sweetie. Could you three help us get here back into her bed for some proper rest"juliet asked as they chased the women down. But star was stumbling over to another room right now close by opening it as inside was carmine with a couple others
Mainly being shizuka and by her side was tamaska doing some light research into the native wild life around the world. With their being emiko doing heavy research on herbal remedies and curves right now. Their was a makeshift holo computer set up for their research with some science tools spread out around the place. Along with that some testing equipment such as test tubes, beakers and several different chemicals right now
Though the entire place was littered in used coffee cups and chinese takeout boxes. With their being crumbled piece of paper all over the place as shizuka groaned slamming her fist on the table
"Dammit! I can't find anything on this dam gas! Nothing from any disease or anything!"shizuka shouted in rage as tamaska sighed closing another book it seems throwing it into a large pile
"Me reading a bunch of books on poisonous plants isn't helping haven't even found a lead on one yet"tamaska said with another familiar face walking around in the form of faith and haddock the parents of angel who wasn't here while haddock was astrid father.
"Well not having contact with my daughter makes this very hard. I'm hoping will and the others are having better luck with this right now."faith replied with haddock sighing rubbing his eyes
"And i'm spending time looking into grimm that might be it but nothing yet"he said but star scoffed walking into the room
"So what…where all gonna die"Star said making them look over at her as carmine looked up with very tired and red eyes like she hasn't been sleeping right now. But the women walked over as star panted leaning against a wall for support seeming to be in pain
"Dear that won't happen everything will be fine just get some rest"carmine said but the grunt growled with juliet walking over placing her hands on her shoulder
"Come on lets get you some rest"juliet said but star threw hands off her
"Get off me!"star shouted shoving her back as she fell on the ground with star panting heavily on the ground coughing and wheezing in pain. As the women layed their for a moment before quietly starting to break down crying on the floor right now. It made them feel awakrd but they understood she was scared right now
"Hey i know its scary but come on lets get you back to your bed to rest up"tamaska said helping star up but the women covered her face shaking her head
"No its not…i'm..i'm probably going to die…i'm going to die with tubes…and….needles in me…i'm going to die because of some dumb gas"star said crying as elm seen her tired look as she instead guided her to a nearby couch clearing it off as some books where on it as she sat her down kneeling to face her friend.
"Come on star we've been through much worse crap. You survived the fall of atlas and a giant monster chasing you down in a house. A war and a dozen other stuff heck even survived a date night with me and the girls"elm said trying to cheer her up but star covered her face sobbing into her hands
"Stop trying to cheer me up…i'm going to die…i've had it the longest god…i know why harp hide his dam lung cancer! He was scared of this…he was scared of this"star cried and cried but the harper here looked a little curious hearing that name

"No but well…we weren't really told much about him…the only one who knew him alot was cynthia"emiko said as elm stared at star for a moment as the women saw what she was doing
"Soooo who is this harper guy?"caveria asked with the adults sharing some looks with carmine sighing as she softly smiled
"He was a soldier in the miltary a very kind but childish at heart soty of man. He was a member of the spartans unit but long ago well he sort of cared for your three father. Back then atlas military saw a child to be a monster but him all he saw was a scared child. He didn't like him at first but he earned his respect becoming like a brother to him. Though he lost his life helping him and the others involved in transporting the winter maiden to atlas. He hide the fact he had lung cancer and….he died doing one last good act in the world. Your father respected that man alot"carmine said making the teen boy feel honored to here that but someone ruined
"Might mess with him for having alot of wives…also ask who top or bottom….i bet most of them are tops"star said with a laugh and cough making the women married to the hybrid blush
"You..you…shut up i am not a top! Wait a minute…dang it!"emiko shouted as shizuka was beginning to laugh right now as she sighed with a smile on her face
"Ohhh that cheered me up lets get you back to your bed you kidder"shizuka said helping star get back to her bed. But wanda stared at all the sick people before her right before a sharp pain came over her head right now
Slowly her vision shifted for a bit to show her through someone eyes sobbing by someone bed side who layed their looking sick. As they where crying soundling like a women as she coudln't recall what she was saying but she seemed to have lost a loved one. Looking over at her was carmine seeing her having tears slip away
"Dear are you okay?"Carmine asked as wanda looked over shaking her head for a brief moment rubbing it
"I don't know…i just had a headache…i kinda wanna lay down"wanda said
"Go do that kiddio you two as well don't know if this stuff is contagious still"haddock said as they left the room to wash up. But as they left wanda held her head wondering if that women was her mother or someone else right now.
Though as the night kept going on and on soon enough it was time for dinner with everyone enjoying a nice night together. A few though stared at nyx who was still enamored with the weapon of her grandmother as lazeruz sighed
"Really? You gifted our sister weapon to her granddaughter…our nephew gonna be mad sis"lazeruz said as lilith rolled her eyes toward him
"Calm down laz it'll be fine besides my sisters son made a copy of her weapon for his daughter. He did make alot of them for most of his kids"liltih said making some feel jealous as simone sighed
"Great sis gets a new weapon and i don't. Kinda unfair"simone whined as may eyed her daughter having an idea form in her head
"If you want we could go out tomorrow for a little hunt right now. Were still working on clearing a few grimm nest right now. "May said peeking her interest

Gripping she twisted it unlocking it before something happened. The weapon shot out turning into a large hammer that slammed onto the table. All of them looked over seeing a large hammer that had a screaming skull in the middle with a nervous faunus.
"And that why we keep weapons off the table…and i'm holding onto this till we pratice with it tomorrow"onxyia said taking it as her daughter whined as they enjoyed a nice night of dinner.
As they did far off still flying in the manta right now was zane missing home right now. With him staring at the journal right now in his hands as close by his side was pana who noticed him looking down
"It'll be fine dear once were their we can zip in and leave then head back to the house to check on everyone else"pana reassured but he had an itching feeling something was wrong
"I know but i'm just probably being paranoid feel like something bad is coming our way"he replied as bane scoffed
"Your always like that but thats why you asked your little friends to help keep an eye on your kids"bane said as the man sighed leaning his head back praying that everything is fine right now for everyone.
With that we close another chapter off in the volume as someone is looking for the goddess. While nyx might be training with the weapon of her grandmother but in the next chapter she might find something strange.
