Chapter 7:Welcome to the family.
Meanwhile back with the others at the ruined house they where sitting in immense silence right now. With them all waiting in awkward silence right now as joining them was sandra who was in the other room checking over the little girl named bambi. But with the others they where either standing or sitting right now with nick holding the little girl named josia in his arms as she kept shivering right in fear seeing them it seems.
Though in this awkward silence was nyx staring at the guy who bullied her entire family for years right now. But she was staring at him with the little girl very confused since he never mentioned having a sister. As right now yongshi was staring at him with an annoyed look on his face
"Kid i suggest you start talking right now because from what i've seen its quite obvious whats on her arms"yongshi said but he tried to play it off
"Its just some bug bites relax…just…just leave your trespassing on private property. If you don't leave im calling the cops"nick said but miu scoffed
"Says the thief. You literally stole from a supermarket your a crook and criminal. You should be locked up"miu coldly said but onxyia eyed her daughter for that tone as nyx scoffed
"Shes got a point i mean you could have just bought the stupid drugs or taken her to a doctor"nyx coldly said as he glared at her
"Kinda hard with my current living life bitch"nick spat as she growled digging her nails into the seat ready to beat him up. But immedialty it was stopped as onxyia whistles getting their attention as she glared at her daughter
"You two with me now!"onxyia shouted scaring the two right now as they were brought outside infront of the house. She slammed the door as the two saw a look in her eyes telling them she was mad right now. Their was some silence as the two guessed they where in major trouble
"Are we in trouble?"miu stupidly asked as her mother glared at her
"You are! Do you know how rude and insensitive that is toward someone. Do you?!"onxyia shouted with her ears straighten out as her tail thrashed back and forth as her daughter scoffed
"Really? Hes been rude to us most of our lives as kicks we should just return the favor"nyx said but from behind someone yanked hard on her wolf ears. The girl yelped turning around flinching as miu did as well. As right now standing their was cait along with mavuika as well. Though by their sides was a familiar face right now. That being an older looking zydra sporting the same attire she wore back in the day as she had grown her hair out just a little but she glared at the two right now
"I thought your mothers raised you all better than that?"zydra questioned as someone else was by her side
"I thought we did"roz said standing their coughing for a bit into her hands to their surprise she was here.
"Mom i…i you shouldn't be here right now your sick you need rest"miu said but roz put a hand up stopping her
"I may be sick but i;m not too sick that i can't come yell at you two for what i'm hearing"roz said as cait scoffed right now
"Same here because we were doing some shopping and getting her check out at a doctor to see if they have anything for her sickness. But…we were told what was going on"cait said as nyx rolled her eyes
"That the jerk who bullied my siblings is a thief"nyx said but mavuika glared at her daughter staring her down with a glare scaring her
"No we got told about someone abusing a child. We came with cops and child protective services to see their living conditions"mavuika said as a few guards where their with a sharply dressed man who stared at the house as he had a clipboard checking something off
"Well this place is already having several things wrong with it. Lets step inside please"the man said walking in with a couple of the cops as they closed the door but zydra scoffed for a moment
"You two better straighten the hell up for what you said and apologize to those people in their"zydra said to their shock
"What?! But hes been bullying us for years how is that even fair?!"miu shouted with her eras straighten out but cait sighed rubbing her face
"What did the house look like and those two little girls"she asked them
"Why bring that up?"nyx replied
"Answer the question truthfully what makes you think you have the right to call someone out on stealing something for their family. Medicine meant to help a sick little girl it seems and right now i'm sure has a terrible fever with how worried sandra looked inside"onxyia said
The two teens thought each for a brief moment on the complete state of the house right now. Along with that how those kids look nyx did get a good look at josia seeing her covered in dirt and bruises which was messed up. But as she thought about it hit her….she was being terrible to someone just because she wanted some small payback
"That we messed up….ughhhh were dumb"nyx said as miu blushed embarrassed right now
"Come on were not that dumb i…well…dang it were dicks"miu said as mavuika patted the two proudly on the head right now.
"Good job now where gonna make sure those two are safe and get some answers from that boy."mavuika said as they returned inside the home with the CPS employee examining the place with one of the officers asking nick and josia some questions
"Kid i think you better start speaking right now because if your in danger your safe now"the officer said but nick growled
"I said where fine! Seriously just leave us alone! I can handle taking care of my sisters myself!"nick shouted trying to shove the officer but fell to the ground panting exhausted it seems right now which the two teens noticed wondering how bad the home life of his was.
As their was some silence for a moment sandra came back out right now seeing the officers where here
"Good you called cops because right now that kid needs a hospital right now. "Sandra said
"How bad is it?"yongshi asked as she looked pissed off
"She has a severe fever along with that she keeps burning up! That kid could be dead within the next few days if she doesn't get treatment right now!"sandra shouted to their shock hearing that as nick looked scared as josia looked scared
"Is my sister in trouble"josia innocently asked as taika knelt down to meet her level
"No…no…we just gotta get here to a doctor and shes fine"taika said but nick shoved him back shielding her with a scared look
"Look just leave please i'll get in trouble with all of you here. Just leave please"nick begged and pleaded even though soon enough someone could be heard opening the door as laughing was heard as the owners of this home stepped inside
As it was a women who looked very skinny seeming to be in her early thirties with her sporting a set of brown hair reaching her shoulder. Along with having quite a modest bust size though she had a long down on that looked brand new colored red. Along with having a set of brown eyes and some heels on while she was carrying a bottle of red wine
Next to her was some man who had tanned skin with messy light grey hair with dark blue eyes in his late thirites. While he was tall with some muscular arms along with some very fancy looking dress pants colored black with a olive dress shirt in that showed his slightly toned chest right now. But he had a loose tie on
Though as they stepped inside the man looked at all of them scoffing"oh great the hell are the whores of that freak doing here"he said as zydra growled at him
"Shut the fuck spencer! This your place asshole?"zydra questioned as this was spencer all grown up spitting to the side as the faunus could smell all the booze and liquor on his bodie right now as he reeked of it.
"God you reek of booze…you drunk prick?"roz asked with a gag even as the women spat
"Keep your trap shut slut. Least i aint some whore throwing myself at one man and several women with shitty kids"she said as she glared at her with nick rubbing
"Uhh hey uh…umm..dad..and lyzza"nick said to the two as spencer stared at his son pushing past them pointing a finger in his face
"Thought i told you to call her your mom brat"spencer said scaring him as he looked away backing up clutching his side instivly
"I umm..just…well…she didn't give birth to me and…"he was stopped as the man growled at him but yongshi shoved him back as the man glared at the faunus who narrowed his gaze at him as sandra was walking out holding bambi who kept coughing and wheezing in pain as lyzza glared at her
"Hey! Put my daughter down bitch or you'll get beat to a pulp"lyzza threatened but the officers stood in their way as the CPS worker had some question
"Actually where were you two this house has several violations i can tell by smell alone. Along with that these children are completely covered in filth along with her being diagnosed with a high fever. Mind telling me where you two where?"the worker asked as spencer scoffed
"On a trip so what punk"spencer said but lilith gave him a good look right now
"A trip with what money? With the state this house is in it looks like you hardly make a living"lilith questioned as he walked over jabbing her in the chest
"None of your business whore…now kindly get out of my house or else i'll shoot yah with my gun"spencer threatened as having enough of this was onxyia who punched the man in the face as he cried in pain stumbling back with her cracking her knuckles stepping forward
"You know my husband may not be here right now. But you don't wanna mess with a women who ex-white fang. Because i may have done some terrible stuff…but atlas taught me a few ways to make scum like you break"onxyia threatened as the officers shared look taking a step back
"Ohhhh the dog bearing her fangs"saru joked as spencer glared at her trying to take a swing at her but mavuika caught it headbutting him to the ground knocking him out as roz coughed a little staring at the two kids here
"Lets head outside"roz said as they did with lyzza growling grabbing bambi by her arm squeezing it making the sick child cry in pain
"You aint doing that"lyzza said but gripping her wrist right now was cait holding it tight before lyzza let go crying in pain as the bare knuckle fighter stared her down
"Leave the wee las alone you cunt or else i'll break yah arm"cait threatened as she did with them stepping on as the officers dealt with them as the worker sighed
"Dear god thank goodness you called us. I mean the entire state of that house is in so much disrepair its not even funny."the worker said
"What will ummm happen to umm….me and my sister?"nick asked nervously as the worker sighed
"Most likely you'll be put into foster care but the closest one for the youngest one are in mistral while the one for you is here. The oprhanges are too full and that means these two will need to be shipped off to mistral by tomorrow"the worker said to their shock right now as nick looked scared with josia hugging him scared to be taken away.
As their was a moment of silence someone spoke up"what if someone takes them in"nyx spoke up to their surprise as the man stared at her humming
"If someone where to take them into their home they would need to pass a inspection to see if the home is liveable. But i know of your family reputation you pass those safety checks with flying colors always….why?"the worker asked as the wolf stared at the bully of her family thinking about what her dad would do in this situation
"Becauses its the right thing to do….dad would do it i'm sure"nyx said making her mother stare at her as the worker nodded
"Then their in your hands. We'll notify the authorities of this household and to send tier documents of their birth to you"The worker said leaving but nick stared at her in utter shock right now
"Why? I…i..messed with your family…theirs no way your family will accept me"nick said with a nervous look as the wolf faunus crossed her arms for a moment sighing
"Look my dad taught me to always give someone a second chance. I mean look you were a jerk to us but now seeing this. I mean….no one deserves to be split up between their siblings besides…"nyx paused with a grin
"We can get payback by drawing on your face and pulling pranks on you for oh i don't know a week or two"nyx added making taika roll his eyes
"Ehhhh i aint gonna help i'll warn him….maybe"Taika said making them laugh right now though lilith scroll rung seeing who it was
"Ah its my brother lets see what he…"lilith paused as she answered the scroll getting a horrible message
"Sis get back here now and don't tell our nephew wives! But we found maybella trying to hang herself!"lazeruz shouted on the other end as lilith jaw dropped in complete horror right now with the womens wives all going wide eyed
"What?!"all shouted as he heard them with yongshi taking the scroll from her
"Laz we'll be their in a bit but we got a surprise for all of you"yongshi hanging up as they booked the nearest shuttle back to the house with that surprise in tow right now.
Early right now with the others exploring the gas pocket. They where deep within the gas exploring the area as ahead of them now was an anger nebula grumbling and growling to herself with naca sighing
"Man she is pissed about octavia…i don't blame her that guy that did it was a total psycho"naca said as simone stared at her mother thinking about it as she heard who did it some grimm knight named jack the same one her dad killed long ago in self defense
"You mean the umm…grimm knight dad…killed"simone said as they got silent with may glancing at her daughter with a shameful look but cardin scoffed
"That prick your dad put down wasn't human and he still isn;t"cardin said as they eyed him
"Uhhh uncle C. that guy is still a person i'm pretty sure i mean we only study like the original thirteen in class. He wasn't one of them right?"trey asked as mazon tapped his chin
"Nope! But uhhhh weird hearing that your guys dad killed someone i mean my dads a huntsman and my moms a huntresses. They talked about killing like one person and it was some guy trying to kill them in that war"mazon said mentioing his parents killed someone very casually

"That most of the people on the side we fought were deranged psychos. Like the guys now"mazon blunlty said with cardin sighing looking down recalling that day in havan
"Kid look that freak jack was a serial killer most of the dam grimm knights where. He went by the name of the mistralilan ripper"cardin explained
"The mistrailian who now?"trey questioned with nearby soldier piping up on that topic
"Shit do not remind of that day. When i went to havan that psycho was ripping and tearing people in half. I mean i saw that guy gut someone infront me and then eat their organs"the soldier said making riko gag a little

"I'm going to be sick"riko said before she almost took her mask off as cardin stopped her

"Their your family. But when your with people who you never met or aren't even blood related to. The stuff you go through and the things you see it'll form a bond between you. Even in all your hardship and struggles your teammates are their for you. You watch each backs out their like their your own flesh and blood. I…lost three teammates over the years and it still hurts at times their gone. But i know that they gave their lives to save the many"may said as her daughter listened to that liking that
"That sounds nice…hey you never mentioned your teammates before where they nice?"simone asked as her mother smiled under her gas mask
"I'll tell you about it sometime okay focus up"may said walking ahead as they kept walking through the gas filled section of the city
As they kept walking soon enough they found where the flashing light was as they approached it. Peering inside of the room a soldier spotted something inside seeming to be a silhouette of someone
"Got eyes on someone"the soldier said as a couple miltia members slowly opened the door. Once they did they made their way inside to see what the flashing light was that being a portable lamp but vance stared at it deciding to investigate that as nebula saw the figure the soldiers mentioned sighing
"Fuck were too late"nebula said as they saw the figure as sitting in some chairs in a circle where about nine people all in a circle. But blood ran out of their mouths and eyes like they died a painful death as riko held it back again
"Dude this is…this is just messed up"mazon said
"Welcome to how the unseen eye deal with their victims kid. They torture them and leave their bodies out as warning signs these people are messages for us"nebula said but naca examined them closely seeing their wrist where bonded together
"They left them here to suffocate to death to the dam gas….asshole"naca said but vance kept examining the lamp which a soldier noticed
"Heyya cap why you staring at that lamp?"they asked as the faunus kept seeing the model recognizing it as a remote switch model
"Shit…shit its a trap!"vance called out before from the ceiling something dropped down onto a miltia member. Shining their lights a cultist was on their back as the miltia tried to get them off. But the cultist began to gag before spitting acidic vomit on their face as their screams where muffled cries of pain startling the teen
"Holy shit!"trey shouted out as the soldiers opened fire onto the cultist shooting them dead to the ground as they layed their unmoving
"God that scared the life out me…i think i peed my pants"riko said but skully sniffed the air growling right now toward the outside as grimm seem unaffected by this strange gas as cardin stared out the window seeing some small piece of movement out their
"Contact i don't know how many though"cardin said as they all got behind cover as may blinked for a moment as her eye switched to infrared. As she scanned through the red cloud she saw alot more of them than their are with their group
"Oh no theirs probably about fifty of them out their"may said to their shock
"Are you kidding me? I did not prepare to fight that many….shit"vance said but nebula scoffed holding her cross bow tight before deciding to fire a few shots toward them trying to nail a couple as she hit a figure knocking them to the ground
"Got one!"nebula shouted as the figure where slowly their before they started to come at them faster as it revealed a horde of husk screaming toward them as immediately cardin slammed the front door shut with some of the grimm banging their way on the door. As one smashed the glass grabbing a miltia member by the mask tearing it off as they gasped inhaling the gas
"oh…no..no..wait…wait…no…i..i…."the milita member said before gagging and puking up blood falling straight onto the ground as simone yelped backing up in fear right now.
"Shit we need a new exit right now before where overwhelmed"vance said as mazon scanned the area seeing a neon sign out the window seeing it looking like some bottle that was being opened as he smiled
"Wait i know where we are! Where near the brew bros"mazon said as cardin held the door back with husk banging on the doors
"The fricking what?!"cardin shouted back as he looked around seeing the back door of the house. Running over he kicked it open revealing an alleway as he smirked
"This way we can make it out through this alleyway"mazon called out as they stared at him with nebula firing an arrow into a husk
"The kids right that alleyway leads back to the entrance we were at. Follow him"nebula said as they decided to follow after him as cardin grunted holding the door back just for a bit longer before giving up. Once he did the husk began to pile out screaming and screeching chasing them with a few cultist in the mix firing at them but they hit cardin shield instead.
Quickly turning a corner they began to run with riko panting right now fogging up her mask as she spotted a grimm infront them. Aiming her rifle she fired a couple shots killing them dead as they fell to the ground turning into dust.
They turned a corner hard running down into a more open market section with a soldier spotting their exit
"Exit over their!"the soldier called out running forward but as they did suddenly something from above was shot into their back. That being a metal spike as suddenly they where tore up into the sky as they followed the source. As it led to a cultitst carrying a harpoon gun with another slitting the soilder throat dropping them to the ground with a loud thud killing them
"Fuck run!"vance shouted out as they began to run away right now to their exit. As they where running right now nebula turned back growling firing off more shots toward the cutltist and grimm right now. She nailed a grimm dead in the head as she pierced a cultist in the arm with a bolt as they cried in pain hiding behind cover with her laughing
"Come and get some you freaks! Your all mince meat when i'm through with you!"nebula shouted back firing at them as staring at her was simone who grabbed her by her hand
"Lady come on and stop shooting at them!"simone said as nebula growled bashing her elbow into her face at that moment knocking her to the ground before a loud crack was heard. As nebula froze looking down seeing that simone mask was starting to crack scaring the poor girl who began to hyperventilate right now. Staring at what she did quickly nebula dragged her behind cover slightly panicking
"Crap….crap…kid…i'm so sorry…i'm so sorry"nebula said as simone was panicking clutching her mask in complete fear
"no..no….i don't wanna die…i don't wanna die…i wanna see my baby siblings..i don't wanna die"Simone cried and cried for her life. Seeing what she did to her mask and seeing how far the exit was nebula growled before suddenly she did something as she tore off the girl mask making simone gasp slightly.
But swiftly nebula tore her mask off slipping it on over her as simone tried to stop her. Though nebula forced her hands their before holding her breath picking her up starting to full blown sprint to the exit right now. As she was running for her life right now doing her best to hold her breath.
The others where on the other side with back up but as nebula came sprinting out she gasped for her life coughing and hacking slightly inhaling that gas. As vance looked down the alleyway seeing the cultist retreating with the grimm by their side slowly backing up
"Guess it was a dam trap"vance said but simone tore her mask off in shock
"No…no…no…please be okay ma'am…please"simone said as they stared at nebula without her mask on gasping and taking in fresh breaths of air right now with naca tearing her mask off checking over her
"Oh no violette! Your wife and daughter are going to kill me…please be okay"naca asked but nebula panted for a brief moment before sighing in complete relief
"Feeling fine right now vincent…oh man…ohhhh kid i'm so sorry for elbowing you in the face. My bad"nebula said as they where skeptical by her reaction at first
"Are you sure your okay i mean that stuff just killed a guy. If my leader hears her moms dead shes gonna tear me a new one"mazon said but the women stood shaking her head right now
"Eh i feel fine besides…i wonder how things are at the house"nebula said but someone infront of them cleared their throat that being mavis as they stared at her as cardin smiled at his sister
"Sis we made it. Your kids favorite uncle is still kicking how are things at the house"cardin asked as his sister stared at him fighting the urge to cry as she covered her mouth but by her side was sun who stood their staring at them with a hurt look
"They found maybella trying to hang herself back at the house"sun said to their utter shock deciding to hurry off to the house to check on the poor women.
As they took a shuttle to hurry back to the house as they where arriving the other group was just arriving which cardin noticed wondering if they know as he tried to play it off
"Hey guys nice to see you here right now"Cardin said with a forced smile but mavuika stared at them
"Shut up! Right now we need to hurry inside and check on maybella!"mavuikia shouted slamming the door opened as they figured out they knew. They didn't spot the others as they rushed inside to see most of the family their right now but no sign of maybella with velvet covering her face horrified on whats happened today with a few of the wives of the family freaking out themselves
"Why the hell would she even do that?! I mean…we lost some kids but dear god…i…i…."nia said unable to form any words with rosari pacing back and forth
"God this is…god why"rosari cried and cried with brooke sobbing into her hands but noticing them was ivy who covered her face
"Dear what happened? What happened while we were gone?"naca asked with tears on her face as the women looked away shaking her head with the children of the household still in shock right now
"Dude…why would our mom do that"a teenage girl cried
"I..i..don't know…i…we lost some siblings due to medical issues but not like this"Another cried as elm was their sighing

"Upstairs with a few of your wives dear along with fester keeping an eye on her. We…we found this upstairs on the dresser near her"chie said handing a note to onxyia who took it beginning to read it aloud
"I didn't want to do this but the pain of losing a child is too much. I can't stand the thought of never being able to meet my own child because some manic took him from me. I wanted to bring a new piece of life in the world but it never happened. I just wanted to finally have a child after so long…and now i want to meet them…oh god"onxyia said struggling to even read this as it was heartbreaking to even read or think about this right now. Their was some silence between them as immediately vance grabbed his scroll which they noticed
"You doing some fish boy?"ramirez asked
"Calling up celeste for a therapy session tomorrow she going through one weather she likes it or not"vance said but as he called it a ringing was heard as he followed the source to see that women was already here right now sighing as she apporahced him taking his scroll hanging it up for him as she placed it on a nearby table
"I already got told and i plan to do a little therapy session with her and a few others"Celeste said as their was some silence but quinn glanced to the group for a moment seeing sandra holding bambi who kept coughing and coughing concerning her
"Hey why do you have a random kid?"quinn asked getting all their attention right now but sean eyes widen seeing one face growling
"Its that prick nick! Why is he here?!"sean shouted making all the older siblings stare directly at him as he just stepped right into the lion's den right now. With autumn and nila cracking their knuckles in unison. While reva glared daggers at him approaching him with merle growling as he approached him
"Your dead meat for coming here asshole"merle said ready to punch him but stepping in her sibling way was nyx glaring them all down to her family shock
"Sweetie move we need to integrate the little intruder you have"electra ordered as moxie scoffed staring him down
"That little brat bullied you and your siblings why the hell is he even here"moxie asked but nick froze up as josia shivered hugging his legs in fear as she asked something
"Are the mean people going to hurt me"josia cried with a few of the women noticing her for a moment seeing the current condition she was in with ahri looking stunned seeing how dirty she looked but noticed all the bruises on her before staring at them as nyx scoffed
"Shut up! Right now we have some news for all of you because guess what we have new siblings….deal with it"nyx said making them all eye her for those words as the other women who knew the extract reason smack their face in unison hearing that. As their was silence an uproar of anger was heard refusing that immediately especially viola who eyes twitched as she growled going into her aerial form stepping forward
"Their is no way we are having that jerk be our sibling! He needs to leave and head back to whatever hole he crawled out of now!"viola shouted in rage but her sister grolwed shoving her sister back in complete anger as her tail thrashed
"EVERYONE SHUT UP!"nyx shouted as her words echoed in the hall getting them quiet as she stared them all down
"Your going to deal with it! Take a dam good look at the little girl coughing and hacking right now because one thats his sister and so is she!"nyx shotued pointing at the two little girls making her sibling look at her weird
"No way he has a sister"one of her sister called out but she growled before walking over toward nick staring at him as he looked down but onxyia placed a hand on his back making him flinch
"Just tell them its fine we can explain"onxyia said as he hesitated right now with taika scoffing stepping forward right now
"Okay look i get you all don't like the guy. But sorry we caught him trying to steal medicine for his sick little sister. His dirt bag dad and step mom i guess left them home alone for a while. Along with that the little girls clinging to his leg has a bunch of bruises and cigarette burns on her arms. So how about you opened your dam eyes since some of you are adopted and were taken in from bad homes. Show some dam compassion you jerks"taika said as the entire room got silent for a moment but pushing through was ahri but as she got close josia flinched hiding behind her brother shivering in fear right now. But she put a hand up
"Hi sweetie umm..can i…take a look at her arm?"ahri asked nick who gently knelt down moving his sister forward. As she gently took her arm as josia flinched shaking she examined her arm with most of them seeing the bruises and burns on her arm as some stared at the others who brought her as cait sighed
"Aye we got CPS involved their staying here."Cait said as they thought about it for a moment with some of the women relenting
"I'm making dinner for tonight someone go get a spare room set up"hex stated walking away with ling cupping her chin
"I'll go get a bath started right now because these two really need it."ling said walking away as juliet approached sandra as she placed a hand on bambi head who coughed and panted in pain but she felt very warm
"Dear god…okay i need some fluids because she actually burning up"juliet said walking away with her as their was some silence before they decided to get some of them cleaned up
"I think you need to go take a shower kid"zydra said
