Chapter 14 Blue:A Father Return
Its been five days now for everyone in the compound as they where doing their best to adjust to everything. Though it beens a struggle as vance ordered his military to search for any sign of the assassin that where identified by trish. Though he had no luck in these last five days making them all very paranoid when they may strike. But the plague was also a bigger issue
As in the last five days the people in the hospital where starting to drop like flies right now. With several of them dead as everyone in the compound was just worried making sure the sick got the cared and love they needed right now. As most of the grave siblings becoming unwell severely from this sickness as their mothers who were sick kept telling the others to treat them and that they'll be fine.
Though in these last five days nyx has been having some thoughts on the fifth form of her semblance. She keeps thinking about it wondering what it means and how she can control it. Lately shes been getting a few nightmares as of late from these dreams. All of them showing her attacking someone or killing them in that giant wolf like form. Though she been doing her best to keep an eye out for her siblings
As much as she liked to master her semblance she doesn't wanna lose her siblings who are sick. She not that shallow she was raised better as it was brand new day right now with everyone enjoying a nice breakfast for the day
With the meal consisting of some eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links and pancakes. As they all were eating but some of them where busy taking care of the people who are sick as simone sighed
"Ughhh grandma why did you have to make us train yesterday that hurt with that cheap shot'Simone said as they forced to train still as declan laughed for a moment
"It'll toughen you kiddios up for what comes your way next. Besides you get the day off to spend time with your siblings"Declan said with a worried look right now as everyone knew he was scared they all were
"Dec we are all scared right now for the others. That disease still hasn't even gotten a cure yet….no one even contacted us yet"fylod said as susan was patting hades on the back who coughed a little as he seemed to have caught it with the women coughing slightly
"And with all of us being around them i think where starting to get it now….it must be contagious"susan said with a scared look as the baby in her arms kept coughing scaring them as taking him was elm who gently held him in her arms
"It'll be okay sweetheart"elm said with a scared look as onxyia covered her face with some obvious bags under her eyes as joining them for their breakfast today was sun who sighed as he looked tired himself
"Dammit this entire plague is killing me….anyone else just exhausted from this crap"sun said

"I'm more surprised that rae hasn't contacted us or even portaled to us"cardin said
"And i can't really do it since mines got a shorter range than hers. Even if i'm near mistral on the patch i can't even do it"bombay said to a downside of her semblance copy ability with their being a brief pause between them for a bit scotty had a grand idea
"Hey why don't we see if the comms are back up"Scotty said as they all groaned right now as this has been going on for the last five days with him. He won't stop testing his scroll to see if he can call anyone from the other kingdoms
"Uncle give it a rest! For the last time the comms are still not working whatever those freaks did must have destroyed it"clem replied
"Yeah give it a rest all i know is that we might be losing more of our siblings"caveria said with tears in her eyes. But as the man frowned he began to type in a number right now into his scroll that being pyrrha as he scoffed
"Well let see if my red headed buddy can pick up"Scotty said pressing call placing her on speaker with arslan smacking her face getting up approaching him with a glare on her face
"Scotty i am gonna knock your lights out i'm trying to–"she was stopped before something happened suddenly as something came through
"Scotty…scotty?! Is that you…oh my god…oh my god comms are back up!"pyrrha voice came through making them all go wide eyed right now as they all stared at the scroll with wide eyes
As cardin walked over in shock"is this…uhhh pyrrha are…are you in vacou?"Cardin asked but she was laughing in joy on the other end
"No i'm not! I'm in the anima with the branwhen tribe! Oh my god…oh my god! Comms are up…jaune! Yang! Anyone get over here quick!"pyrrha shouted on the other end as they all shared some looks with each other right now
"Okay i think we are all going crazy right now for today"trey stated
"Uhhh we heard our aunt voice…no way that isn't real i mean it has to be her"jonah replied as they waited for her return
Their was immense silence right now for a moment waiting for the scroll to speak again. But maybe after five minutes soon enough a familiar voice came through on the other end
"Pyrrha if this is a joke i'm gonna punch you square in the jaw right now"yang warned but that made them all go wide eyed
"Yang!"sun called out as it got silent with laughter right now being heard on the other end as a holler and a cheer was heard
"Holy shit the comms are back up!"yang cheered on the other end
"The weird square said a swear"daisy sweetly said as yang groans of annoyance was heard on the other end right now making velvet laugh right now smiling before having an idea. Taking her own scroll out she began to call one person up. Slowly her scroll began to buzz for a bit as they answered
"Velvet…vel? Please tell me this is working and i am not hallucinating my sister in law calling me"courtney said on the other end as cera stood up smiling in joy
"My snuggle muffin!"cera cheered in joy as some stared at her for even saying that as miu gagged

"Courtney! Please tell me atlas found a cure…please…please!"velvet cried and cried for a bit as a long sigh was heard on the other end right now
"I ummm….i…i…umm…n-no i…i'm sorry but…we yesterday we spent the time working on fixing the comms network…the talon took it over i…i'm so sorry we haven;t found anything"Courtney cried on the other end
This stunned all of them as nadia covered her face growling in rage"dammit! God dammit! So what…all my grandkids are gonna die now! Is that what your telling me!"nadia shouted into the scroll scaring the nearby tots as on scotty scroll yang began to laugh right now making them eye it
"Why is she laughing?"kirko growled as her tail thrashed with emiko cracking knuckles
"Xialong if you think this is funny i'm going to end you right here and now"emiko said but she spoke up on that possible cure
"Uhhh sorry i'm laughing because the timing couldn't be any better like two days ago we found the cure for the plague"yang said making them go silent hearing those words slip out of her mouth that she managed to find a cure to this plague right now

"We found a cure. We dug up some old books that we had here from hazel he found a story about some herbs that grow here in the anima. Their so rare that it takes ten years for them to grow but we found a small batch of them. Its called aslcepius"yang explained as they didn't buy it
"Yang i am not in the mood for jokes we got people here coughing up blood right now"cardin said but close by yama cupped her chin for a moment
"Wait…wait a minute…i'll be right back"yama said running out of the dinning hall. As they waited for her she came rushing back in carrying a book on folklore as she slammed it onto the table. Immediately she began to skim through it right now as she went wide eyed
"Oh my god…shes right! That herb is a myth among others its rumored to cure any plague or disease"yama said but they where confused
"And how exactly are we gonna confirm this?"reese questioned but simone thought about something she recalled in the gas attack when they explored that gas pocket
"Wait a minute…mom when we were in the gas a cultist was walking inhaling that stuff like it was nothing"simone reminded her mother who thought about it going wide eyed
"Your right i forgot about that…the smoke was too thick i thought i was seeing things"may said as yang spoke up
"Hey the same on our end here. We saw one of them munching on one back here in the forest they tried to attack us with some gas. But with the herbs vomit boy junior and his group with jaune they manage to snag the leafs and we even cured the whole tribe"yang said as their was pause but declan laughed cheering raising his arms in the air
"We have a cure!"declan cheered as meg sighed in relief holding her chest right now
"Oh thank god i…wait…but…if their in the anima and they take a long time to grow how will we get them to the other kingdoms?"meg questioned but loki snapped his fingers still sitting in his wheelchair
"My wife! Anyone with a copy semblance or someone who can produce flowers but who do we know that can do that"loki asked as they thought about but june went wide eyed
"Carmine! First one to find her picks the food to celebrate tonight with!"june said before bolting away as bonnet glared at her
"Nuh uh i aint eating chinese again you brat!"bonnet shouted chasing after her as their was some silence as sun wheezed laughing right now
"Anyone game i could go for what june wants tonight?"Sun said walking backward as onxyia smirked at him
"Sure"onxyia said as they rushed off to tell everyone the good news right now.
But right now in the medical bay of the home right now everyone was doing their best to nurse the suck back to proper health. As they where doing their best right now it was a bit of a struggle with alot of the help getting sick as after some exposure the sickness seems to spread to the others that come in contact with them
As nova sat their right by her mother side right now wearing a face mask. With nebula laying on a bed right now looking weaker compared to before with her coughing up a storm right now as she gagged and hacked. Close by gwen sighed
"It'll be fine dear…they'll find a cure i'm sure….they will"Gwen said with a horased voice as she wasn't believing in this so called cure. Its been weeks and nothings come up now as her wife is getting worse by the day everyday now.
As nebula laughed smiling as she coughed"you think? Besides once i'm better i'm gonna mess with my daughter and…"she stopped coughing again as worse for wear herself was star who was wheezing with each breath as her chest was slowly rising but close by ringing a rag out placing it on her head was juliet sighing as she coughed a little
"It'll be fine if were lucky carmine or atlas found a cure now"juliet said as on another bed was slade who laughed as he coughed a little
"Hey your not old but…dam….maybe if i;m lucky i get to see my wife again'slade said as helping him was his eldest daughter who placed a hand on her father face
"Dad it'll all be fine…it'll all be fine mom will see you when you pass. Not here surrounded by some dam plague"liltih said as he smiled at his daughter
"Maybe but…worrie for the little ones compared to me….they need the help more"slade said hacking as he coughed hard moving his hand back seeing a bit of blood as he looked down in shame right now. As nova noticed this staring at the door that lead to carmine office as she growled clenching her fist
Standing up she ran over before slamming her way into the room as working tireless on the cure was carmine, faith, haddock and hannah. As all of them where heavily exhausted as shizuka was gagging into a trash can puking as she caught the plague from them
"Ughhh i feel like hammered shit…i wanna die"shizuka groaned as she hovered over a trashcan
"Don't do that…you got my daughter and your other wives…stay strong for them"faith said groaning right now as they all caught the plague after being in so close proximity of it right now. With carmine looking up to see nova glaring at her as she sighed
"Dear were quite busy please leave us alone i.."Carmine paused coughing into her hands as she growled walking over grabbing her by her collar shaking her
"Wheres the dam cure!? You promsied a cure and my moms is dying! Are you even trying!"nova cried in rage as running in was gwen who tried to take her daughter off the women
"Sweetie don't bother them everything will be fine"Gwen said as nova growled being pulled back by her mother staring at the tired looking carmine right now
"Are you even close to finding a dam cure!?"nova cried out in agony right now as their was silence between them all right now. Nothing happened at first but slowly carmine began to crack as she began to cover her face beginning to sob right now as she looked up with teary eyes behind her glasses
"I…i…i..don't know…we…we aren't even close i…i've tried every remedy….herb…medicine…everything. I've tried everything and nothing is working against this virus i…i…don't know if their is a cure"carmine said making them go quiet as some of the others stared at her from the sickbay with a few of the sick staring at her but overhearing all this was someone
As running in panting was june who was suddenly tackled to the floor by bonnet as they stared at her
"Bon? What the fuck are you going?"star questioned couging right now as bonnet covered june mouth who growled at her
"We got some good news the comms are back on!"bonnet shouted to their utter shock right now
"What?"faith questioned in utter shock right now
"Wait…maybe atlas has a cure made…maybe they found something"haddock siad with a smile as bonnet grinned
"Nah because…owwwww!"bonnet shouted as june did something from long ago biting the women in the hand. Bonnet reeled her hand back that had blood dripping down it
"Yang and the others found the cure! Its a plant called aslcepius! Ha suck it! I get to pick dinner and i want chinese bitches!"june cheered with her tail wagging as stepping in was sun who cheered
"Nice! Winner winner uhh…fortune cookie…dinner?"sun said slowly as some of the others eyed him for that
"Boooooo"trey said but carmine stared at them with wide eyes for a moment. Immediately faith called someone up from the tribe that being tex as it rung for a bit before she got an answer
"Oh my god xiaolong wasn't kidding heyya mother in law you need something"Tex asked on the other end as faith thought her next words carefully
"Dear i…i..do you….did you find a cure for the plague actually?"faith asked as their was a moment pause for a bit before a video call gave in. as on the other end was tex pointing over at two people that being laffa and yuki who were in the middle of making out as yuki blushed red in the face
"Gah! What the fuck where in the middle of something here!"yuki cried in embarrassment as reva bursted into laughter pointing at them
"They were making out! Keep going pretend we aint here"Reva said with a grin but cardin looked at laffa as he recalled hearing from others she was sick
"Wait a minute uhhh that kid had the plague but…you look….healthy"cardin said as laffa realized what this was walking over smiling
"Yeah! That dumb plant they found cured it…i feel great! I aint coughing blood anymore!"laffa said on the other end as their was silence for a moment. With yama rushing in planting the book on the table showing a picture of the leaf right now
"Carmine can you copy this with your semblance?"yama asked as the women coughed for a moment seeing it as she sighed
"I don't have much aura left but i'll try"carmine said before beginning to focus into her aura right now. As she was beginning to focus for a moment suddenly around them from a nearby empty garden they had. Several fines of a golden leaf looking flower started to come from it as they stared at it with several of them starting to grow. With carmine grunting in pain as they saw this
"Carmine stop its enough you don't need to to keep going"elm warned as she tried to stop her but carmine shoved her back panting right now crying a little in pain as it hurt her aura doing it for this long. But soon enough her aura shattered as the women groaned falling to her side panting in complete pain
As she did they looked at the large spread of petals right now as shizuka moved them from her face
"Sooooo how did you take it exactly?"shizuka said as laffa gagged on the other end
"I had to eat it be warn that stuff is sweet and sour…it taste like heaven for a bit then its awful"laffa warned as wanting to test this immediately nova tore a few leafs off. As she rushed over to her mother in the other room
Others watched as nebula saw her daughter shoving leafs in her face"kiddio what are you doing?"she asked
"Don't question it eat it!"nova demanded as their was minor hesitation for a moment as nebula took it placing it in her mouth slowly. As she began to chew on it with the others watching she hummed for a moment before she swallowed it then her eyes bulged out of her head as she gagged
"Ughhh why did that taste sweet then like…burnt steak my wife cooks one night…ah crap"nebula said as gwen glared at her for that
"It was one time!"gwen shouted as they waited for a brief moment for the cure to work as they did slowly the color began to come back to nebula face right now. As before her lungs felt like they where on fire but now they felt clean as she took a breath of fresh air feeling herself over
"Whoa…i feel….good"nebula said as quickly juliet began to examine her for a brief moment as she did tex sighed
"The effect will work instantly but their gonna need an hour for it to actually work"tex said but slowly nebula slide to the side of the bed standing up as she moved around a little. Deciding to get ballsy she used her semblance doing a flip launching herself high in the air before landing back down smiling right now
"It…it worked…it fucking works!"bonnet cheered as immedialty some of them began to dsitpute this leaf to everyone right now finding it weird but carmine was helped up by miller who smiled patting her on the back
"Cured everyone doc your a miracle worker"miller said as the women smiled at this right now as things where going their way now for this tragedy
Meanwhile with conri and his group as his base he was busy trying to come up with a plan right now for the vermin. As all hes done is begin planting his troops into the city slowly supplying them with the plague they made along with a cure they made for it. They had to keep it incase their soldiers got infected by the plague
But by putting them into their place he plans to fully destroy the city. Everytime hes died he been too quick to act not waiting and watching his prey. Even with his new bodie parts he still can be killed. Despite watts bringing him back from the dead he warned him that his wounds can still hinder his fighting skills.
In the room with him was envy grumbling in rage to herself while sloth was fast asleep close by in a chair. Then their was wraith looking outside on the desert dunes before them seeming in a trance.
Yurena tapped her foot on the ground"god this is so boring having to wait for them to have some stupid funeral right now. I wonder why your dumb boss cut the global comms"she said as turner scoffed
"Shes got a dam point gran. I mean all you've done with these seven are having them cause some brief issues with the military and killing some of their patrols"turner said hobbling to a nearby chair
"Its all apart of the plan. With the comms down it makes it hard for them to communicate with the others in the nearby kingdoms. Besides chizoma….kiyo….and abigail should succeed in their goals right now"conri said but as he did suddenly a soldier rushed in making sloth yawn as he woke up
"What is it? I was enjoying a nice nap"sloth said tired as the soldier panted
"Sir! We have a problem!"the soldier shouted making them eye him as the robotic mutt growled
"What problem is that?"conri growled for a moment as he panted for a brief moment before presenting a scroll as someone came through
"Gran…i need good news right now….because i am not in a happy mood"scar said on the other end startling them on how hes able to call them on that

Not without the brave scarfieces of some soldiers but we even got a call from the atlas general winter schnee herself. Who this morning got a call after the repairs stating they have found a cure for those infected by this gas from the attack on vacou"the news women said making conri eye slowly beginning to twitch as a news anchor laughed as he smiled at the camera
"Seem everything is going well again despite the last time we had a crisis like this. Though still we lost alot of people that day. Though i'm sure all five of our kingdoms can pull their efforts together to find the location of remaining unseen eye and wipe their cult out for good"the news anchor said
Immediately conri roared out in rage grabbing the tv before reeling it back throwing it straight through an open window. Their was some minor silence as the man snarled in rage roaring slamming his fist destroying a table as turner and yurena got scared but wraith placed a hand on the man shoulder with conri snarling at them as they simple titled their head toward him
Conri scoffed staring at the scroll the soldier had taking it turning on the hologram to reveal scar looking mad right now.
"What happened?"Conri growled as scar scoffed
"I managed to save my wife after they found out she was working with us. But for the others i haven't gotten any word from abigail because that rose women invaded the station we controlled. They took back control of the station and abigail failed me in destroying schnee manor she died. The news reported it and chizome that bastard went into hiding somewhere…and kiyo"he paused eyeing the man who glared at him
"Let me guess some of them failed"conri asked as he scoffed
"That pathetic excuse for a warrior meena died with kiyo being killed again! Oh and let me not forget nell being a failure herself got i got rid her after she begged for me to give her more enhancement after failing to kill rose on the way to atlas. But how are you….are you failing me"scar asked as their was a pause as conri scoffed with a confident look
"I've been planting the others in the city while activating your assassin you gifted me. Though…i got word this morning a manta was spotted rentering an airship want me to strike soon i assume"conri asked as scar thought for a moment scoffing
"If you find that failure bring him alive to me if you need to cripple him do it. I've been having fun torturing his brats….they might make good grimm knights one day"scar said disconnecting the call as conri smiled right now as he cracked his knuckles as he prepared for another hunt for the gravekeepers
Back at the compound right now laughing and running around with a smile on her face was zia who looked much better. Alot of them where better with most of the siblings hanging out as squealing in immense joy hugging one of her kids was crystal as she laughed
"Oh man i feel like a million bucks"crystal said as reggie sighed close by
"You still need rest come on. You and the others had enough hugs for your kids"he said as riley whined right now

"Wait…ummm what about the others i mean if we decide this without them it'll be very rude"ohuki said as quickly valentina took a picture of hiyori making her blush as with the comms she can do this. Suddenly in a multicall was chikao, hanya, natasha and finley as a groan was heard
"Whats going on? I'm busy nursing my head after getting thrown around"finely groaned on her end

Before she let go then balled up blushing mad red in the face right now as jingliu blushed right now
"Are we stuck with this weird family charm now"jingliu said as the scroll call was cut as someone scoffed instead of laughing
"Get your dam lips away from her you dam brat! Actually all of you away from her now"tammy ordered with her having some acolytes by her side along with the rest of the council backing her as in the room laughing at her daughter getting another girlfriend was rupee who groaned

"What the hell is up with her?!"sean questioned as nyx growled with deacon kicking her off as she flipped going on all four narrow her gaze at him as he flinched realizing who presnace was here
"Oh shit…oh shit…uhhh heyya…d-des…i umm…"he paused as nyx stood up cracking her knuckles as she snapped her jaws at him
"Deacon….deacon…deacon….to think the spiny little pest that voted to have my youngest killed does this to my great grandchildren. I'm going to show you what it means to mess with them"desdemona said through nyx voice but tammy reached around driving a taser into nyx who began to shake as she light up before screaming as she fell to the ground right now.
Seeing this immediately rubee walked over slamming her bag against her as tammy blocked her hits. With deacon kicking her to the ground as daisy glare at him pounding his fist against his leg
"Don't hit momma!"she shouted but in his anger he growled slapping her across the face to the ground as she began to cry. As they all were ready to fight but all of them stopped as cohen noticed their pause
"The hell up with all of you"Cohen asked before he felt something wrap around his neck right now. As right now he began to tap on someone arm as the group on tammy side looked over with wide eyes as staring at them was zane who swiftly choked out cohen kicking him to the ground
Then he eyed the others down scaring the acolytes as deacon put his hands up
"Kid i…i…ummm…i…i…"he was stoped as zane punched him in the stomach as he grunted in pain. Before he elbowed dropped the back of his head knocking him down as he eyed martha as the old women shaked seeing his eyes filled with anger
Then he stared at tammy who smiled at him"i…i…umm…welcome uh back dear…how was your trip"tammy said but he stared at her for a moment tilting his head as he walked forward making her backup as her acolytes stepped to the side as he snarled at her popping his knuckles as he backed her into a wall. Tammy shivered in fear right now as he grabbed her by the throat raising her against the wall slamming her against it making her cry in slight pain

With that the father returns to the family after a long trip but it seems comms and a cure has been found for this plague now. Though it seems that tammy may be on thin ice with zane for everything shes done lately. thanks for reading!
