I'd just like to say it's the 1st anniversary of Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken

Chapter 6: Unleash the Kraken part 1

Back on Sonic world, it took about a day to get it done, but it was a success, Tails built a portal machine gun, using the vile of green dust, to find Sonic.

"Now, all we need is to hook this to the Master Emerald, and we'll be able to track the location of the emeralds and lead us to Sonic." Tails said as he took off to Angel Island, where Knuckles, Amy, and Cream Cheese were waiting.

"What is taking so long? He should be here by now." Knuckles said impatiently.

"Tails said he be here soon, just a matter of patience Knux." Amy said.

"Are you still sure you wanna do this Knuckles? you how serious being the Master Emerald is." Cream asked.

"As much as I'd hate too, I'd do anything for a friend, of course to show he isn't stronger than me." Knuckles said feeling proud of himself.

"Nice to see your pride is still just as big as your lack of patience." Amy said with a sweat dropped.

"I Heard That!" Knuckles said with a vain on his head, soon Tails arrived with the portal gun.

"I'm here, Knuckles, you ready?" Tails asked as Knuckles nodded and started to stand in front of the Master Emerald, with his hands out.

"The Seven Emeralds are the servers of Chaos..." As Knuckles started chanting, the Emerald started to glow.

"...Our Hearts intensify their power..." He chanted more and more, as the Emerald shined brighter.

"...Which us Unified by the Controller of Chaos!" He finished as it shined more so bright.

"Master Emerald, heed my call, help us find the Chaos Emeralds, and our friend." Soon the Master Emerald's glow was reacting to the machine.

"Almost there." Tails said getting the signal to where Sonic is.

"Got it! Stand back!" He said as he shot it and opened a portal into the lake right next to the temple.

"Why did it open there? you weren't pointing at it." Amy asked.

"Hmm, I guess because it came from aquatic energy, it must be attracted to water." Tails said.

"So will this take us to Sonic?" Cream asked.

"That, and a 50% percent chance it could tear the user apart bit by bit." Tails hypothesized.

"You Mean You Didn't Test It?!" Amy shouted.

"Well we needed the Master Emerald's energy for it anyway, so I'll go first." Tails volunteered.

"Tails, are you sure?" Amy asked.

"Just to be safe for you guys, here's this." Tails giving one of his upgraded Miles electrics to Amy.

"I modified it so I'll be able to contact you if I made it, but have the portal ready in case I might need backup." He said as she nodded

"Good luck, Tails, we'll be wating." She said.

"We believe in you./Chao! Chao!" Cream and Cheese cheered.

"Stay strong, kid." Knuckles fist pumped, Tails nodded as he flew into the portal, and little did any of them know they were being watched by the same robot who was watching them before, in Eggman's liar, he was saw everything and grinning.

"Hang on Sonic, I'm coming." Tails said in the gateway to where it'll hopefully lead him to his best pal.

Speaking of Sonic, he was snoozing like a baby, until he started to feel crawling and licking on his face, he slowly opened them up to see a Baby Kraken and a Locc Ness on his face.

"Heh, you two certainly know how to be an alarm clock, without the noise." He said getting up with a yawn as Jake and Nessie hopped off with Jake riding Nessie like a horse, Sonic then stretched till he felt something strange, like his arms were... stretchy? with shock, he opened his eyes to his arms reaching the top of the ceiling, literally.

"Huh, that's new... and familiar?" He stretched his legs and saw they could stretch too.

"Yup, serious Deja Vu." He said hypothesizing, in his mind, that the power of a Giant Kraken can make him stretchy like any Cephalopod, even in a normal stage.

"Morning Sonic." Said Ruby coming down the stairs.

"Hey Rubes... You're cool if I call you that?"

"Sure, my friends call me that sometimes, other times it's Rub, Ruby-Doo, you know, all that stuff."

"Right. So, where's everyone else?"

"It's just us, you were out when everyone left."

"Then how come I just woke up by your brother and pet?" He asked as she turned to see Jake and Nessie playing together.

"Oh yeah Well, my Dad's still here, he just owns a shop below the house, comes up on breaks to check on these two, so anyway, what is your plan again."

"Simple, I find the rest of the Chaos Emeralds, and I'm outta here." He said spinning the one of the Emeralds he already has.

"Right, and I know just who can help us, let's go." Ruby said leaving for the door with Sonic following.

"Ok, where are we going?"

"To see my Grand-" She then stopped by two things grabbing her legs, she looked down to see Jake and Nessie having puppy eyes.

"Guys, let go!" She said as they still wouldn't and then she sighed and got down on their level.

"It'll be ok, I'll be fine, I've dealt with serious stuff before, remember, we're mighty Kraken, can you two be mighty for me while we're gone?" She requested as they both nodded and hugged her.

"Aww, I'll be back, ok?" She said hugging them back, Sonic was touched to see such beautiful sibling relationship, she then left for the door, Sonic soon then got down on one knee to both of them.

"Don't worry, as long as I'm around, she'll be safe, I promise." He said hold out his fist, and Jake and Nessie copied and the three fist bumped, soon Sonic left after Ruby with Jake and Nessie waving.

Later on, Ruby and Sonic we're walking on the docs, Sonic looking down at water, lots and lots of water, stretching out into the ocean, leaving him with a huge gulp.

"So... where exactly are we going?"

"To see my grandmother."

"Right, and that is after we visit the docks?"

"Yup, Just this way." Sonic looked to see nothing but a dead end of the docks, stretching out into the massive part of the ocean.

"But there's no house here."

"What are you talking about?"

"Doesn't she live here?"

"Oh no, she'd never even think about living on land."

"Wait, what?"

"She lives in the ocean, which is exactly where we're going." She said as the Camera zooming on Sonic face having a serious expression on his face, his eyes widened, pupils shrinking to the size of the tinyiest crumb.

"As in... water? Like, in the water?"

"Exactly."

"Huh, that explains alot."

"Are you alright?" She asked as he inhaled through his nose.

"Listen kid, don't take it the wrong way, but Water and I... don't get along very well."

"Ok, what do you mean?"

"You're gonna laugh if I tell you."

"I give you my word, Sonic." She said as he sighed.

"Ok, I... Can't, Uhh... I can't swim." He said immediately going into a ball, while Ruby raised her eyebrow.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Waiting to be laughed at."

"Oh, so that's it?"

"Wait, you don't think it's funny?" He got back up.

"Not at all." She as he sighed in relief.

"But seriously I can't do this!"

"Why not? It'll be ok, it's not like it'll hurt you." She said as he still looked nervous, she then walked closer to the edge of the docks.

"And hey, if it goes side ways, I'll be here to help you out." She said standing on the railing, then jumped, diving into the ocean. Sonic got up jogged over and looked into massive amounts of water with a sigh.

"Ok... yeah, after all, I'm Sonic The Hedgehog, I've dealt with crazy stuff like this, no problam-o." He hopped into the railing, and looked down into the sea, still feeling terrified, but also confident. He then took a deep breath, and finally, he jumped off and into the ocean, going deeper and deeper into the dark, and there was silence.

"Sonic?" He heard Ruby's voice, and opened his eyes slowly, to see Ruby, but different, she was... Purple and had 3 legs.

"Ruby?" He asked as she nodded.

"You don't have to hold your breath if you can talk, you know." She said as he then exhaled.

"How do you feel?" She asked

"Uhh... good."

"You feel giant?"

"Why you asked that?" He scratched his head, but it started to feel different, he looked at his hand and saw it was fully blue with tentacles, he looked at his other hand and it was the same, both started to glow reaching up his arms, soon he came out in his Kraken from fully glowing, same with Ruby.

"Whoa! So going in water is how I turn into this?" He said as she nodded.

"That's how it works when being a Giant Kraken."

"No kidding. It's kinda cool."

"Alright then, follow me." She started swimming out to sea, Sonic started to run, but forgot he's underwater so couldn't move.

"Oh yeah, no biggie, time to do the kraken way." He started getting into position, and took off like he was in a super from flying.

"WOAH!!" He was getting closer to Ruby, but having a hard time keeping up, so he did it one leg at a time, soon he went on all 5 and started to go off again, catching up to Ruby.

"Hey, you made it." She said as he was barely.

"Yeah, guess this isn't so bad."

"So... wanna race?" She asked with a smirk.

"Heh, you read mind, kid." He said as she started going at super speed, leaving Sonic to grin

"Ok, Let's see if I can kick it up a notch." She said with a smirk and blasted off, more than his average top speed

"Whoa-Ho-Ho!!" He blew past Coral reef, heards of fish, and other creatures, eventually catching up to Ruby.

"Later!" He went passed her.

"No fair! you already had super speed, that can't count." She chuckled as she tried to keep up, the two were enjoying the moment, Sonic was really getting the hang of it, as if he doesn't care he's underwater.

"This way." Ruby said as She and Sonic went deeper and deeper into the twilight zone.

"Wanna see something cool?" She asked as they approached a current of light, first Ruby went inside, the Sonic followed.

"Whoa! Whoa-ho-ho!" He said as they then exited on the other side, Sonic was till spinning crazy till he slowed down and ended on a balance.

"And he sticks the landing." He said.

"So, how do you feel now?" She asked.

"Sweet, as much as liked to run, that was crazy!"

"Hey kiddos! You made it!" Said an unknown figure, with a fimilar tone, and it was Brill popping from outta nowhere.

"Uncle Brill? What are you doing out here?" Ruby asked.

"I was just about to come get you, like your Grandmother ordered." He said as Ruby reacted with bit of a frown.

"I told her about yesterday, and since then, she's waiting to see you, blue, but now that you're here, this way." He said as Ruby and Sonic followed him, with Sonic thinking what kind of Mother would "order" around her own son, till he saw a bright light up ahead and it revealed to be a giant castle, henceforth, the Kraken Kingdom.

Sonic starred at the palace in awe, for a second, he quickly dashed forward catching up to Ruby and Brill, the entrance opened, they went inside, into the hall of Krakens which was even more graceful and amazing.

"Whoa!" He starred being more flabbergasted.

"Impressive right? Royals just love keeping their titles." Brill chuckled.

"Hold on, you're royals?" He asked.

"Yeeeup." Brill nodded

"So, Ruby... are you like a... Princess?"

"Took ya long enough." Ruby said.

"Whoa... that really makes alot of sense now." Sonic finally processing this wacko world, soon after, Kakens started to come in the hall, getting crowded.

"Is that the new Kraken?/It looks weird?/Why do one of it's legs look different?/What are those pointy things on the back?" Sonic could hear nearly every one of them questioning about him, as if this isn't awkward to him.

"She made a big outta this, didn't she?" Ruby asked to Brill.

"Oh yeah." He replied, while Sonic was thinking about everything right now.

"Ruby's a princess... that means her grandmother is a-"

"Fellow Krakens...!" Before Sonic could finished his thought, there was said an unknown figure, they all looked up, and came down the Kraken Queen, which by the way Sonic was about to say in his head.

"Speaking of." Brill whispered to Ruby.

"At long last, our prayers to the sea gods have been answered, It is time to Welcome..." She stopped as she finally looked at Sonic, who was not at all what she expected, Sonic then grinned a bit, the Queen then looked at Ruby who shrugged, this became seriously awkward as there was silence, the Queen the cleared her throat.

"To Welcome... this Kraken, from what we thought was loss, but is now a miracle." She improvised as the crowed then cheered as a welcome for Sonic who looked at Ruby and Brill who made faces as they was just as confused as him, soon later, the crowed left leaving the Royals and Sonic alone.

"And with that done, I have a surplus of questions, starting with... WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" The Queen shouted as the room shook by the sound of her voice, with Brill hiding being Ruby, her highness then started to calm down, remembering her "Away Rage" therapy.

"Who is this stranger? What is it even supposed to be?"

"Well, when I said this guy was from outta this world, I meant literally." Brill popping out from behind Ruby to explain.

"Grandmamah, this is Sonic the Hedgehog." Ruby introduce her Blue Friend.

"Hedgehog? Aren't they those Tiny Spiky creatures that curl into a ball, which is a useless defense, for no reason?" She asked offending Sonic, on behalf of his stereotype, without a single remorse.

"Wow, you never even stepped on land to know how that works, have you?" Sonic with the comeback with Ruby gasping and Brill being more afraid of what his mom will do to him after talking back like that.

"Well well well, you have quite the serious attitude, don't you?"

"You're one to talk, your highness." He said with another comeback as Ruby covered her mouth.

"Ohh I can't watch!" And Brill was closing his eyes, with fear about what will happen, Sonic and her highness gave each other the stink eye for a second, then the Queen then started to chuckle.

"I like you." She said, Ruby then sighed and Brill wiped his head off with relief.

"Ruby, why didn't you tell me he had such a way with words?" She asked as Ruby rolled her eyes smiling.

"Heh, right back at ya, Queeny." Sonic nodded with respect.

"By all means, call me Grandmamah, a friend of Ruby is a family of mine." She said as Sonic looked a Ruby who shrugged.

"I'd roll with it." She said.

"Now, let's start over, Welcome Sir Hedgehog, to our world."

"By all means, Sonic is fine."

"I see, but I must ask, how did you become a Giant Kraken?" She asked.

"I'm still figuring out the same thing." He replied.

"That's why we're here, we thought maybe you could help us." Ruby added.

"If that's the case, so be it, but first I like to know how this all even begun, you must tell me everything." She said as the scene goes dark.

Meanwhile, on land in a forest, a portal opened in a pond, and out came it was Tails, who fell on land, and had his eyes closed, he then opened them to see he made it.

"Yes! It Worked!" He said as he got up and pulled up a tracking device.

"If these readings are accurate, he's here, I found him, just hope I'm not too late." He said opening his Tails and took off in the air, just around the corner, Triplets Sam, Max, and Zac, were riding on a skateboard, still thinking about their blue visitor.

"Man, Sonic is so cool!" Sam said.

"Yeah, but I bet we could Beat him at around of dodgeball." Max added.

"No way, with his speed, he could easily knock us out, with out us even knowing." Zac said.

"Yeah, let's agree never bet on it." Sam said as they all nodded.

"So anyway, all he has to do is to find more of these "Chaos Emeralds" and he'll leave?" Max Asked.

"That's what he said." Sam said.

"While we're out here, maybe we can find one." Zac said.

"What are the chances we'll just happen to find a mystic gemstone out here?" Max said as then Sam spotted something shiny and stopped the skateboard.

"Guys look!" He pointed as they saw it, and it looked like it could be an emerald.

"Well I'll be a Pufferfish's Uncle." Max said as the went towards it, with Tails, on the search for Sonic, he was able to also locate a Chaos Emerald nearby.

"Hey, there's a Chaos Emerald nearby." He said as he followed the signal to the location, with the Trips they were getting closer, Tails was getting closer, soon, they found a Blue Chaos Emerald.

"Here it is!/Here it is!" They said as they grabbed it and pulled it, but it stopped them, so they pulled on it harder and harder, till they looked, and Tails and the Trips saw each other and both were holding onto the Chaos Emerald.

"AAAAHHHH!!!/AAAAHHHH!!!" They all startled each other and letted go of the Emerald.

"Who are you?!/Who are you?!" They asked at the same time, then danger was yet to happen, they saw the formation of a tornado of glowing green dust approaching them, and emerged from it was a huge tentacle like creature, that let out a huge roar.

"WHAT IS THAT?!" Tails and the Trips asked at the same time, What was this massive beast, and will the young fox and Kraken Triplets make it out of this?
