Here we are volume 5! I'm not going to lie this one I did take some time working on it, heads up its over the usually chapter amount of 20 seriously my brain hurts thinking of these scenarios and storylines. RWBY belongs to Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum. I own the OC's, AU. Hope you enjoy!
Chapter 1: New World
It was a quiet morning day in a small forest where there wasn't much going on almost like it was too calm though that quickly changed when a shot rang out sending the birds flying nearby as ruby came bursting through the trees firing something into the trees using the recoil and her semblance causing her to fly.
Then something came bursting through the trees after her as it was a large rock golem with a grimm face in the middle as it swung its rock arms at the young huntrese but it missed entirely.
"Everyone get ready!"ruby shouted as she was luring the grimm into a trap
"Were ready for it!"nora said in her earpiece
"Yeah red were ready over here with a surprise"mercury said in her earpiece
The grimm tried to swing at her again but ruby avoided the monster shooting at it even though her shots weren't doing anything to it as they bounced off its hard exterior. Ruby continued being the bait until they got into an open area where she could fight it but that wasn't her intention as she grinned.
"Nora! Rogue now!"ruby shouted. Suddenly bursting above the trees several grenades shells launched toward it. While a stream of fire shot into the grimm pushing the grimm hard enough to cause it to lose its footing falling onto the ground.
"Your uncle and ren!ruby shouted as qrow charged from the trees pulling out harbinger as he sliced at one of its arms freezing it on contact then it arm started to shatter on contact. Before it could react Ren used his new bow lotus notching an ice dust arrow back launching it into the golem, doing the same thing.
"Alright now it can't move. Merc goes for the killshot"rogue stated as mercury rushed forward as he jumped toward the grimm ready to finish it off. However the grimm senses the danger that was going to happen to it and used the other arm to block the attack from the silver haired boy and flung him back as mercury landed safely on his feet with a disgruntled look.
"Ughh seriously it still has some fight left"jaune groaned, annoyed about this.
"Are you kidding me just die already you piece of crap"rogue replied
This time the grimm saw one of the trees that were uprooted and without a thought used it by connecting itself to the tree trunk and used it as another arm. They all looked at this annoyed then looked toward qrow who shrugged his shoulders.
"Hey i told you my bad luck was apparent though nothing you kids can't handle"qrow said as he leaned against his broadsword.
"We can't let it reform. Otherwise it'll be much harder to deal with"jaune ordered
"Yeah anyone got any plans…not you nora"mercury warned
"Come on, my plans are great. I got the best plan ever,"nora said as they all looked at her deciding to just ask.
"Okay what is your plan nora?"ren simply asked as nora held maginhild in the air proudly.
"We hit it harder!"nora exclaimed as that was a good idea though ruby was trying to come up with another plan as the grimm took some of the rubble from around the area and reformed its leg that it previously lost. That when ruby got an idea even though it was risky as she looked to mercury.
"Merucyr! Skydive!"ruby shouted in which rogue and mercury went wide eyed.
"What?! Ruby are you crazy just like nora! That is way too risk!"rogue shouted disliking the idea
"Great you lost it just like nora over here!"merucry shouted as nora frowned at that because the idea was pretty bad.
"Do you guys got a better one cause thats probably the only thing i can think of that could work. Plus your team came up with alot of crazy strategies"ruby said to rogue who nodded because they were crazy at times.
"Uh you wanna share with us? What are you three babbling about?"qrow asked
"Oh ruby is basically going to use her semblance and get mercury as high in the air as she can. Then he throws her toward the target"jaune answered
"Why is that risky again?"qrow asked again
Mercury groaned"that the target can't move so i can kick it. Miss by even a foot and lets just say my legs might be scrap metal"merucyr added
"Well we can provide a diversion for you two while you two set it up"ren said presenting stromflower
"Yeah the power couple can district it!"nora said in glee as rogue hesitated for a bit before groaning.
"Ughh fine if you break my boyfriend your dead ruby"rogue warned
Ruby nodded"you ready merc?"ruby asked
Mercury groaned"alright but you better not miss shirt"merucry stated even though he didn't liek what was about to happen.
Ren and rogue worked as decoys as they got the monster attention with with rogue firing at the grimm along with ren doing the same thing. Nora took out her grenade launcher providing aerial damage while jaune protect her with his shield. Ruby triggered her semblance and became a flurry of red petal before grabbing mercury turning him into grey petal as they zoomed off and then upward toward the sky as high ruby can get them.
They were maybe about two hundred feet in the air as she stopped but using the momentum from her semblance she spun them around a few times to gain momentum as ruby finally used all her strength to throw mercury down at the grimm below
Meanwhile the grimm was busy with the two below as it swung its trunk like arm at ren and trying to stomp on rogue at the same time coming to little effect. Rogue looked up and saw a silver grey blur came toward them and the grimm as rogue figured now would be a good time to get away.
"Ren get back!"rogue warned ren as he stopped away from the fight and that unbeknownst to the grimm it thought it had won the fight against the humans but it was short lived as mercury came down kicking the grimm hrd enough that it caused small dust cloud to form.
As the dust clear mercury was sort of okay but one of his metal leg was destoryed as he groaned in pain as ruby landed safely next to him examining his mangle metal leg. While rogue rushed over worried.
"Well that uh surpirngsly worked out"jaune stated
"Worked out? Mercury leg is messed up"rogue replied
"Heh sorry but we needed to hit it hard enough to shatter it into piece. Kinda figured that might work"ruby replied but before they could celebrate the grimm that possessed the stones appeared as it was a geist.
"So their the geist that was bothering the village huh"qrow said
"Yeah now lets smash it to piece!"nora said
The grimm noticed the huntsman and huntressed and decided to make a hasty retreat. However rogue wasn't going to allow that as she pointed inferno at the grimm as she lined up her sights then pulled the trigger firing a flurry of bullets. The bullets sorare through the air and direclty at the grimm as it looked back to meets its untimely demise as the gheist disovler into black dust.
"Welp the village chief will be glad to know that the grimm is taken care of"ruby replied but rogue isnepcted mercury destroyed leg as she glared at ruby.
"Taken care of my boyfriend leg is destory which makes a problem!"rogue shouted
Ruby though just thought of something that might make rogue happy"well uh if his leg is broken maybe you could fix it up for him. Maybe make an upgrade to it"ruby suggested
Rogue thought for a moment before her eyes lit up as she took her notebook out drawing something up. This made mercury worried that he might get a nuke strapped to his leg.
"Uhh please don't have her strap a nuke to my legs"merucyr begged as they all just looked at him shrugging his shoulder. It might be beneficial in the future.
"Oh c'mon it might be fun though why didn't i do it?"nora questioned
A few of them titled their head at her"why would we do that?"ruby aksed before ren pointed to nora large hammer. It took ruby a few moments before it hit her that nora would have been better suited for this.
"Oh no! I'm so sorry i just thought uh mercury would be better suited for this ughh i made a bad call"ruby groaned but qrow walked over placing a hand on her head telling her to relax.
"Relax kiddio you thought what was best, lets get back to the village and wrap this up. Then we continue onward."qrow replied as they all nodded in agreement returning to the village. Once they've returned the villager the mayor noticed them and confronted them.
"So the grimm has been handled?"he asked
"Your grimm problem has been handled sir. Their shouldn't be much more problem for quite a while now"ruby stated
"I thank you for your assistance. This'll make things much easier and the villager will be at ease now"the mayor of village thanked
"Anytime sir. Its what any huntsman or huntress would do"jaune replied
"Yep but we gotta keep moving from this little detour kiddio"qrow said
"Then i wish you all a safe journey"the mayor said before returning to his home.
"Okay before we head out rogue you check out your little boyfriend leg. Pinky and knight boy help me check my ride over for any fuel. Then lighting girl you just…be you"qrow replied as him, ren and jaune checked over the bikes. While they were doing that rogue went into their supplies and borught out a toolkit and some spare parts.
Rogue gently lifted mercury leg up but quickly noticed they didn't have the necessary parts needed for it. Which mean they need to make a pit stop and the village here doesn't have a prosthetics shop.
"Man an entire week exploring the anima for the others. Why did we do that again?"nora asked
"Because we had to make sure they didn't get captured by bandits. Though we did run into several problems"rogue replied recalling the ludicrous situations qrow bad luck got them in.
Soon ren, qrow and jaune returned with the jeep in tow though qrow had a concern look on his face.
"We got about half a tank of gas so where going to be careful to not get sidetracked ot aking any detours"qrow said
"Their any gastations around here close by?"merucry asked
"Not for miles so were going to have to push it""qrow stated
"Okay but we need to repair mercury legs we don't the supplies needed for it here"rogue replied
"That will be a problem we can't have anyone injured"ren added as qrow sighed heavily rubbing his eyes.
"That will be a problem but lets check our supplies then come up with something"jaune said
"Okat we head our in ten minutes then come up with a plan"ruby replied as the group nodded
After checking over their supplies and making sure they have plenty of ammo in case of any grimm activity were to come their way. Luckily the CCT tower wa still active in the Anima so they could bring the map of where they need to go as jauen opened his scroll as they peered at the map gathering the others around.
"Okay were currently here"qrow said pointing out the small village they were at.
"And we need to get to here the main capital of mistral. But with metal legs down were in for a long ride ahead of us"he added
"From the looks of it were on the west side of anima so our best bet is to go through hinki forest"ruby pointed out
"Yes but thats in the mountains that were going to go through as well"ren added
"That aint all either we may run into vernal and her men out their. If sis moved camp she might be their"qrow added
"That great hey maybe yang and them are already their"nora replied with hope.
"Maybe but we need to find a town close by to repair mercury legs"rogue said again though jaune took a look at the map for a second. Then he noticed a village about a few hours away that he recalled someone he knows that lives their.
"Here what about this place we can go here"jaune said excitedly pointing to the town that was about a few hours away called deepwald. They all looked at him conufsed because he seemed excited
"Why should we head their?"rogue questioned
"Yeah plus you seem very excited to go their why you know someone their?"ruby asked
Jaune proudly crossed his arm"for your information you guys know how i have seven sister. Well one of them lives their and we could crash their while we fix merucry legs"jauen stated as they forgot he had seven sister kinda.
"Hmm that could work it might take us until nightfall till we arrive but it might be our best bet. "Qrow stated as they all nodded in agreement at this. They all piled into the jeep deciding to depart as jaune guided them to their destination as qrow took reins on his ride while they speed out of the village.
Though elsewhere on the continent right now where said village was. It was a simple village with brick, stone and wooden structures around the town. It seemed old fashion like a western like town but in the woods with the signature mistral artchitecture. Though it also seemed to be a old mining town.
But infront of a big house that seems to fit several people was a women with fair skin who seemed to be in her thirties. Her hair was long and wavy that reached her back colored blonde and she had dark blue yes. She was wearing a white t-shirt underneath a red wool sweat. Along with a pair of light black pants with some red lining it, she wore a pair of black boots. Around her right hand was a silver wedding ring with a poppy flower in her hair.
She sat on a swing as the sky above her was setting with an orange haze around it. The women admired the view as she swung on the swing for a while. Though soon enough someone spoke up.
"Dear you gonna be out her all day?"a man asked as the women turned
The man in question was close to her age and had light tan skin with dark green hair medium in length. He wore a long sleeve sirt colored light green with a tree embrood on a right breast pocket. He wore a pair of dark brown trousers with a pair of light black hiking boots. He had a golden wedding ring around his figner.
The women sighed"no i won't just that i got a feeling is all"she replied as the man sat on the wing next to her.
He laughed slightly"let me guess you think something or someone is coming to our lovely little mining town?"he asked
"I think so though i wonder how my little brother been doing?"the women replied
"Oh i recalled we got mail from my sister in law saphrone. Didn't he lose a few friends during the fall poppy?"he asked poppy arc who nodded
"He did graz..oh i hope he doing okay right now. "Poppy said worried as the man known as graz wrapped an arm around her.
"I'm sure hes fine though lately me and some of the people here thought of something"graz replied as poppy looked down knowing what he meant.
"Graz sweetie we can't risk attacking those thugs they could torch our town. Especially with that adbomination with them"poppy warned
Graz looked down"i know but we can't let them continue taking people from town. Pollax sister been missing for months now. She worried sick as well as everyone else. "Graz reminded but poppy wasn't going to let it happen.
"No we need to play it safe i know your the town mayor. But we can't risk it not with our little girl here. We just need to wait for help to arrive"poppy reaffirmed as graz thought for a moment because his wife was right. He sighed in defeat nodding.
"Okay dear we'll do that but we may not be able to hold out any longer"graz said as the two sat their hoping help will arrive soon. But the help they might get will be more familiar to them.
About five minutes from the town right now was qrow jeep as they sped through the forest. They encountered a few grimm as qrow jeep got some hits to his annoyance. But they were making good time since the sun was starting to set. Jaune kept guiding them with the map in hand.
"Ughh how far are we from this town"nora said annoyed as she waved her arm through the air
"Yeah knight in shihing armor because sunshine won't stop bugging me about possible upgrades for my legs"mercury said slightly annoyed but very much appreciated it. She kept suggesting several useful ideas as did ruby.
"Oh c'mon i'm just saying elemental dust shots could add alot to your arsenal. Imagine blasting away someone with a kick freezing them on impact"rouge stated as he like the sound of that.
"It could prove beneficial for our journey"ren simply added
Ruby nodded"i agree i can help to sped up the process for um breaking them"ruby offered as mercury nodded allowing it to rogue disppoinemnt. She wanted to work on them herself for something they could do together.
Jaune looked at his map for a bit but instead of show them he decided to tell them."well if you look straight ahead we'll be at my older sister lovly town known as…deepwald"jaune stated but went wide eyed at what he was seeing. They all looked forward in shock right now to see a very similair car drive past them bearing a certain symbol. The crimson talon.
Immediately some of them ducked in the back as it sped past them into the distance. But ruby looked at the back of it seeing large amount of supplies in the back of the truck. They all looked at each other shocked right now.
"Are you kidding me talon here?"rogue said surprised watts personal mercenary company was here.
"Yeah that doesn't bode well for your sister town kid. We may have found a big problem"qrow stated as jaune just gripped his seat tight.
"I know, okay if we keep following this road it'll lead us to my sister place. Their we can check up on her, uncle graz is town mayor here. "Jaune said
"Okay though i think it was a great idea now to bust mercury leg"ruby stated because they might be able to save jaune older sister town from these mercs. The other thought for a second before nodding in agreement at that.
"Eh your right kiddio whats saving one more town gonna do. Though once we get to your sister place take it easy on asking her about what going on here"qrow reminded as they nodded in agreement. They continued to drive through the town as some people were awake at night still. Though as they did they noticed some of them staring at them and hide inside buildings or alleyways.
"Weird why is everyone so freaked out?"nora questioned
"Proabbly scared of us, if those mercs are here. My bet they've been harassing the town for a while now."merucry replied
"Lets hope not though lets also hope we don't run into any grimm knights out here"qrow reminded as that could be a possibility out here.
After about a short drive through the town they arrived at a large house that was white in color that seemed to have two stories to it. Their was a large porch in the front of it along with a small garage close by. But infront on a swing right now was poppy who looked toward the car. While graz did too getting up putting an arm up to protect his wife.
"On no don't tell me that women is back"poppy said with worry
"I don't know dear stay behind me i'll handle this"graz said as he reached for a pistol under his shirt. Though the floodlights of the jeep soon turned off as the occupants soon emerged. Graz narrowed his gaze stepping forward.
"If you dam mercs came to discuss on releasing my people. You better have a good dam reason to come here"graz warned as he was ready to aim his weapon at them until someone spoke up.
"Uhh actually no its uh your brother in law…jaune"jaune called out stepping forward as graz went wide was surprised to see her little brother here. Immediately the women rushed over pulling him into an embrace as his face was shoved into her bust.
"Oh what are you doing here little brother!?"poppy squealed as jaune failed his arms around like crazy. The other watched in amusement to actually meet one of jaune many sister. Though mercury and rogue have met spahrone back in argus before.
"Uh dear let go of your little brother your suffocating him"graz warned as poppy relzied her mistake letting him go as jaune gasped for air because she suffocated him for a bit.
Then she just let go smiling then just looked at him then the group he was to her surprise.
"Well this is quite a surprise you come to visit to visit your sister and you bring friend. What the occasion?"poppy asked
"Oh nothing much ma'am our friend here got hurt and we need to repair his legs"ruby replied as ren carried mercury on his back as he waved. Though nora didnd't like it as she kept her eye on him.
"Yep though uh sis these are friend of mine from beacon"jaune said as he gestured to the group.
Poppy just walked over shaking qrow hand with a smile"pelasure to meet you all i'm poppy koda arc. This is my husband and town mayor graz koda arc."poppy introduced herself and her husband.
"Well if introduction are away i'm qrow branwhen"qrow introduced himself to their shock while the other did the same thing.
"Oh i'm mercury black the guy with the busted metal legs"merucyr itnroduced hismelf
"I'm rogue hayley"rogue itnroduced herself.
"I'm ruby rose nice to meet you!"ruby squealed before jaune looked toward his teammates smiling.
"Uh these are also my teammates from beacon nora valkyrie and li ren"jaune said as nora excitly walked over hugging poppy as ren gave a simply wave.
"Its nice to meet you two"ren greeted as nora then hugged graz tight as a crack could be heard.
"Ah its nice to meet more of our leader family"nora said excited as she let graz go as he cracked his back as a loud crack could be heard.
"You got a tight bear hug on ya kid though nice to meet you all. But you said your name was branwhen correct?"graz asked with hope. Qrow just crossed his arms smiling nodding to the man. This result in graz giving a sigh of relief as he hugged poppy kissing her head.
"Oh finally guess you were right that we might be seeing someone soon. And your brother brought help to deal with those mercs and grimm knight here"graz said as the group went wide eyed that one of them was here.
"Uh..one of those freaky twelve knights of grimm are here?"ruby questioned nerovusly as poppy raised an eyebrow at that. Because she knew for a fact the news lately said thirteen of them. But something was itching at the back of her head trying to recall something.
"What are you talking their are thirteen of them"poppy corrected but the group looked at rogue who glared at the eldest arc sibling. The blonde then prodced to jab her finger into poppy chest.
"Their are fricking twelve of them if i hear you call my dam partner one i swear on remnant i;ll burn you"rogue threatned as graz pushed her away slightly. Though poppy then remebered what saffron letter also said how her brother was friends with the one who started the fall and had no control.
"Listen here kid that thing that arrived with those mercs has caused my town here nothing but trouble. I don't care if–"graz begun before poppy placed a hand on his shoulder shaking her head.
"Graz remember what saphs letter said that my little brother was friends with one of them. "Poppy remind her husband who closed his eyes nodding.
"I'm sorry for that though i'm guessing you will wanna know what happened here?"poppy asked as they wanted to ease into the topic but guess they might as well get some answers.
"We do, we can take this inside were can we park our car?"ruby qeustioned
"My garage over their once you get it in their we can discuss what happening right now. Maybe see your niece if she still awake"graze said as they agreed on that. They quickly brought qrow jeep into the car as they unloaded their bags. Then they went inside on of the house to be met with stairs that led upstairs colored dark brown in color.
Off to the right of the house was a large living room like area while to the left was a dinning room that seated several people. The living room had two cloth couches colored light red in color along with a fireplace close by. A fire was lit as above the mantle several pictures could be seen of poppy family and some with her siblings. Their was also a few framed pictures of the town it seems of its previous mayors.
But their was also a small coffee table infront of the couch along with a tv close by that was one. Though on the couch right now watching it was a girl who was ten years old with tan skin and platinum colored eyes that shined bright. She wore a skirt that reached her knees colored silver in color along with black legging as well. Along with wearing a black blouse with plantinum lining it as she had dirty blonde hair. She also wore a pair of glasses colored platinum as well. The little girl was hanging upside kicking her legs watching tv.
"Tina are you up sweetie? We have a surprise for you"poppy called out to her daughter as she sat up peeking over the couch. Then looked at the group entered then saw jaune hoping over rushing over hungging him.
"Uncle jaune!"tina exclaimed as the other just looked at jaune who was slightly embarrassed. But he just hugged his niece as she let go.
"Hey tina its been too long since we've seen each other. You got uh taller"jaune replied
Tina nodded"yeah its been about six hundred and seven four days since you last visited with auntie saphrone and terra"tina said as they were amazed she kept track that long.
"Uhh okay is this kid lying or what? No way she kept track that long"merucry said as ren sat him down on a couch as he propped his leg up.
Graz chuckled ruffling his daughter head"nope our little girl got great memory and pretty smart as well. Though sweetie why don't you head to bed tonight its late"graz said as tina groaned at that.
"But i wanna say hi to uncle and his friend"tina argued
"You can say hi tomorrow sweetie we need to discuss the situation about those men here along with that….women with the deathstalker stinger and mask"poppy said as tina quickl nodded. Tina quickly rushed upstairs toward her room as everyone took their spots on the couch. But mercury just look scared hearing what grimm knight is sat in silence for a bit as poppy kept messing with her ring.
The atmosphere was tense right now as the two weren't really compliant on divulging any information just yet it seems. Though soon enough qrow decided to ask the apperent question. What extactly are these mercnarcy doing here and grimm knight.
"Okay time to break the ice how long have you been dealing with these thugs?"qrow qustioned with concern for the town it seems.
Graz sighed heavily rubbing his wife shoulder with one hand"its…been almost a few months now. Those men in military gear if you haven't seen them yet just strolled into our town one day. They told me their here to protect us from grimm attacks. But i didn't but it"graz begun as he looked sadden by what he was going to say next.
Jaune took noticed of this softening his gaze for his brother in law.
"Uhh did something happen when they came?"jaune softly asked
"Yeah because you don't need to say if its something terrible"ruby reminded as the man slightly smile at that.
"Its quite alright its just we refused their help because we found them to be suspicious. We turned them away though after a few days they came back with…it"graz said as he shivered too tightening her grip on her husband in fear which was a surprise for jaune. He was his oldest sister and she seemed very scared right now.
"Your talking about the grimm knight aren't you?"rogue asked messing with her cloth.
"Yes a women who called herself sigma when she first came but soon she introduced as selket callows."poppy said which just made them all wide eyed. Because that was the last name of a specific last name belonging to a serial killer.
"Umm guys isn't that last name of that psycho we ran into?"nora asked scared
"You mean how her last name matches up perfectly with that serial killer. Tyrian callows"qrow replied until mercury spoke up.
"I..i…we need to get everyone out of here right now. Your town should evacuate that women is someone you don't cross."mercury said scared right now as they all looked at him. He seemed on edge like he just heard a wicked evil was here.
"Kid calm down before you blow a fuze. I understand that you've ran into the people who made those knights. But…"qrow stoped as he turned toward someone as they all looked at rogue. Rogue gulped nerovusly knowing what he was going to say.
"Uhh you think she wouldn't know that i took his stinger right?"rogue neoruvsly asked
"What are you all talking about? Tyrian callows was declared dead a while back"graz replied confused as was poppy. Because she didn't like how her brother tangled with these things before.
"Well umm uncle and our group ran into him back in kuroyuri. He tried to kill someone but she took his stinger off"ruby said but qrow slightly avoided her gaze when she said that. This was taken noticed by poppy but decided to ask another time
"Ok though why don't we ask a few more questions before we go to bed. What did she look like?"rogue questioned
Graz cupped his chin because he had a few meeting with this freak of nature and the researcher with her."like i said early she looks like a deathstalker judging from that mask and tail. Along with uh giant deathstalker pincher on her hand"he answered
"So where dealing with a giant scoprian who might have a grudge against us"jaune said scared because this was a problem
"Yes but why are these men here?"ren questioned
"We don't know they took over the mine here when they took the deed to it. After that they came into town every week taking people away. We never see them again and everyone in town has become worried sick for them. My guess is that their putting them to work in those mines our town owns"graz replied
"That means their using your town for slave labor…i;m going to regret this. But we'll help you guys out to deal with these slavers and grimm knight. We can discuss this tomorrow okay"qrow look at him like he was talking crazy, but didn't argue for now.
"I agree i'll lead you to our guest room we have. some of you may need to share a bed"poppy said as nora just stood to ren immediately opting to do it. Ren noticed this slightly smiling patting her on the head.
After they brought their luggage in poppy led them upstairs to a hall of rooms. Their were three doors on each side of the hall, the one on the far right was poppy and graz room. While the one across from their was tina with her name on the door. The one close to poppy room was the bathroom. While the other three rooms were the guest rooms.
"Okay so how are we going to do this?"rogue question since their was seven of them.
"Oh well me and renny are bunking together obviously"nora said snuggling against ren as he simply nodded at that.
"Okay you two will be over their near the bathroom then"graz said as the two then picked up their luggage walking into their room for the night. Though some hoped ren will be okay for the night.
"Alright metal legs you and knight boy are sharing a room"qrow ordered as they decided to make the two bunk mates. They were annoyed by it at first but got used to it after so long.
"Guess where bunking again don't worry i won't kick you"merucry said as graz carried him on his back. They removed his prothestic legs so they could work on repairing them for tommorrow. If they were gonna deal with those mercs and knight hey needed to be at full strength.
Jaune shurgged his shoulder a she carried his and mercury things"I don't mind though I'm sure this room has two beds"jaune said as they walked over and he was right. Two beds were in the room which left the two weapon needs having to share a bed
"Okay so that mean we have to share a bed…this is gonna be weird"Ruby stated but rouge shrugged her shoulder
"Eh we'll be fine not like any of us hugs anyone in their sleep"rouge said meaning her faunus teammate.
"Yeah though I'll just crash on your couch for our stay. Then tommorrow we work on dealing with your town problem"qrow said as they agreed on that. Soon enough everyone situated themselves in their room for the night. They were all relived to sleep on actually beds for once after traveling on the road for so long.
Though not too far from town the crimson talon truck carrying supplies was returning to the mine. It returns to a large fenced off with watchtowers watching the perimeter for any intruders. The truck pulled up before the driver showed a badge. The checkpoint operator nodded letting them in.
It drove through a camp with several people with collars on. Along with several guards patrolling the place, but their was also a few grimm locked up in cages. But watching over the camp from a small command center towering over the place was a women.
The women in question seemed to be in her mid thirties as she had ghost white skin. She stood tall as she had crimson red eyes like a jewel. Along with that she had a slender body but her body look strange. Because her entire left hand seemed to resemble a deathstalkers claw ready to claw its prey. While a large detahstalker stinger protruded from her waist as it glowed slightly. Her hair was golden brown that reached her back.
But for her attire she wore a kalarisis dress that reached the ground colored jetblack in color. Crimson red lined the dress as it was torn in the back to reveal her stinger. While she also wore a linen shawl over it colored crimson red with a scorpion embedded in it colored black. But in her hair was a golden scoprian hairclip . She wore a pair of coiled sewn sandals that were jet black in color.
Alongside her was another women who wore a researcher coat who seemed to be in her early forties. She wore some simple blue jeans and a medium purple shirt underneath her labcoat. Her hair was light blue as she had dark green eyes. Another person was off to the side but the grimm knight known as selket callows.
The women seemed to be on edge about lover stinger being torn off. And she plans to take it out on this little town she's taken over. Whenever she get her clutches on that girl she'll tear her limb from limb.
