chapter 6:Journey Into A Mind
Inside the military camp at a certain part of the camp some of them were still recovering after yesterday. That mainly gwen, octavia, earl and ophelia. The four vacou students were discussing what they planned to do when they get back.
"So once we get back to vacou what do you guys plan to do?"earl asked as he was fixing his hair.
Ophelia was still hurt but rubbed her side"don't know probably rest from my injuries doc said i have four days till i'm all healed"she replied with annoyance
"Eh well you did defend a wall that got blown up"octavia reminded as she tiwlred her dagger in her hands.
"True but what are you probably doing?"ophelia asked again as octavia thought for a bit until something came to mind.
"Probably just relax until school back in session. Maybe check up on my moms grave"octavia sadly replied which hit a sore spot for some.
While it made gwen recall how octavia was originally from mistral but moved to vacou and raised their. If she recalls right it was due to legal troubles with her parents which caused them to relocate. Though she also recalled her talking about how her mother died at nine being diagnosised with cancer which took her life and it was her father who took two jobs to make sure they stayed afloat which lead to a lonely childhood for her.
"That sounds nice i'm sure she happy with the career you choose"Gwen reassured her teammate who smiled after hearing that. She hoped she was smiling down on her.
Earl rubbed his neck for a moment"eh well i'll probably just check up on our new teammate since our sharpshooter heading to menagerie"earl stated
"Oh i've heard about that he took therapy actually back in vacou."octavia replied
"Yeah hows he handling it anyway, still freaked out about that thing that took his legs?"gwen added concerned as the two just sat in silence for a bit. Ophelia rubbed her bandaged arm for a moment trying to think how to best answer.
In her honest opinion nolan was geting worse by the day, scarlet been helping keep him in check. But the biggest factor in his recovery has been may, those two where thick as thieves it seems.
"In my opinion pretty bad. Guy gets too scared to even walk on them at times. Sometimes i think he won't be able to recover from his loss of limb. I also know that mays pretty hurt about her two teammates she lost"ophelia begun but thought about their two teammates they lost.
If she recalls from her memorie they went on a mission seven months ago to deal with some grimm in the area. It was a simple expedition for them since they've done it over and over so many times it was engrained in them. But something happened.
Her partner lilo ran out of aura in the cave they were dealing with the grimm in. then out of a nowhere a deathstalker came in dragging him away. Them and their teacher with them chased it down but in the process they ran into a nest. Several baby deathstalkers were everywhere as it swarmed them but she watch her own partner get eaten by that large bug. For her other teammates partner earl her name was veronica. The girl got stabbed by its stinger killing her.
"It hurt when you loss someone you've spent so much time with. I..i was such an idiot for accepting that mission"ophelia begun as she didn't realize tears were slowly forming which caught them offguard. Earl just soften his gaze with an upset look.
"If i never decided hey let go clear out deathstalkers it'll be easy…w-w'eve done it before. B-but no instead we run into a dam nest of them i see my own partner get eaten by a grimm. T-then s-someone else i was suppose to protect gets killed. T-those two are hurt too we shouldn't have been put on a team with them. "Ophelia cried as some tears ran down her face that felt very hot. Before she knew it her other teammate pulled her into an warm embrace with an upset as he patted her back.
"Don't blame yourself…those two knew the risk of our job as huntsman and huntresses"earl said as he pulled back placing his forehead against hers.
"I miss vern and lilo everyday but i keep trying to look toward the positives. And we gotta support our new teammates and watch out for them. Just like we did before"earl added wisly. The dam broke as she leaned her face into his shoulder crying for a bit. This went on for a few minutes until she settled pulling back rubbing her eyes.
"You feeling better over here?"octavia asked as ophelia wiped the tears away.
"I am…being a leader is never an easy thing to live up to"ophelia sadly replied as someone spoke up.
"You don't know the half of it"coco said walking past them as they were slightly surprised to see her.
"Oh wassup Adel thought you be messing with your teamate"Earl teased as the girl hoped onto a nearby crate crossing her legs slightly.
Coco gave a smirk"aww i can't bother her right now shes a little busy playing nurse right now. Though she got her stuffed grimmy now"coco replied as she fluttered her eyes under her shades. It caused them to snicker slightly.
Gwen chuckled as she was doing some maintenance as she used a small tool kit. Mainly to make sure her knives could launch probably from the hatch on the arm.
"Funny though have you guys seens nebs?"gwen asked as the four thought for a moment before they all shook their heads.
"Beats me last i saw she was in the messhall this morning"octavias replied as she quickly sheathed her dagger.
"True but mainly everyone just doing their own thing. Heard they'll probably send some of out tomorrow to do patrols"earl replied after finally fixing his lushy hair he cared deeply about.
Coco placed her chin in her plam for a moment"eh well shes either probably training or in the barracks. What about your other teammate?"she asked looking toward gwen and octavia.
"Last i saw her she was hanging around that falcon chick"ophleia answered as gwen tapped the side of her head for a moment. Because for starters she looked very familiar but couldn't quite place it yet.
"Huh well maybe she knew her besides lets just to pass the time"coco suggested as they just decided to talk for a bit before they explaoed the camp a bit more.
But over near the training area was already hard at work trying to get back at full strength. Because right now cardin had a curlbar up as swet beated down on his bodie as his biceps buldged slightly. He grunted slightly lifting the bar with each rep.
While close by was vance as he was doing some pushup as he went but as he came up he clapped them together. He kept repeating this process for a bit as he wore a pair of running pants without a shirt on. It revealed his very toned bodie he had.
"Twnety seven…twenty eight…twenty nine…thrity"vance said as he stopped him before leaning back panting slightly.
"Come on your tired already?"zane asked as he threw his jacket off as he was doing some pullups on a nearby bar. His arms slightly shook as he had a belt around his waist with forty five palte attached to it.
"Okay…for starters *pant* i'm sore from yesterday"vance replied between breaths.
"Yeah well we gotta in top shape if we wanna help stop the attack in menagerie and havan"cardin said as he did one lest rep then dropped the barbell to the ground. He wiped his brow as from close by someone offered him something a canteen of water. That being his girlfriend yumi.
"You gonna keep keep staring at me or you gonna take a swig?"ymui asked as he chuckled taking the canteen unscrewing it then took a drink as water spilled from the edge. He gave a sigh of relief as he handed it to vance who took a drink.
"Ah that feels better thanks panda ears"vance thanked handing her it as she screwed it back on.
"No problem you three seem hard at work…but shouldn't you be reocvering"yumi said looking at zane who dropped down as his knees slightly buckled. But he removed the belt as he sat down panting heavily because his endurances wasn't the best right now.
"I'll..be fine…gotta get prepared and make up for lost time. Took a nice long nap"zane replied wiping as he sweated bullets.
Though may glanced at his hair for a moment seeing the white tips"though for starters your hair still dyed which is a little weird. What those guys dye it for you"may said but he shook his head messing with his hair.
"Nah i've always had this actually everysince i got to atlas actually"zane replied which confused them what he meant by that.
"Wait so your saying you didn't dye your hair?"yumi questioned confused as he nodded as he finally got his breath back.
"Yep apparently from my little time in that lab from all that trauma and stress. My hair turned white or whatever. Fits my grimm look now"zane replied
"Huh thought you always dyed it back at beacon. Though uh question….that wolf kid actually her brother right?"Cardin asked nerovusly it seems
May scratched her head"uh yeah why what about it you scared of him?"she questioned which was the truth.
"Oh hes just scared because he picked on their entire team"yumi said pointing toward zane but only three member actually.
Cardin sighed before he spoke"yeah…well i regret what i did. Especially to her she was just looking out for her brother. Its something siblings always should do but when i saw her..talking to that akasha chick"he replied
"I thought she meant bad news but i was wrong. Started to rethink alot of things after that"he added
"Like your views on faunus"zane stated
"Yeah kinda like that. I sort of…put myself in their shoes. Espeicallys vel. Cant even hide your ears and constantly get picked on. That would be a nightmare for anyone."cardin answered
"Forgot you stopped picking on her after a few days after you posioned my partner"zane added
"Yep. sorry for that again. Even after escaping beacon had to watch out for her alongside coco. Same goes for lynx ears. Though if my sister was their it would've been different"cardin said which suspried them.
"You have a sister? You didn't tell me"yumi said
"Yeah. Mavis winchester my twin. Apparently she went to some prep school called lady browning academy for girls. While i sighed up for beacon. She was pretty mad and has a cold demnor toward faunus"cardin said
"Huh…guess she won't like your girlfriend then"may added. But both yumi and vance groaned hearing that school name.
"Ughh not that school seriously i hope it burns to the ground"yumi groaned loudly.
Vance had a look of rage across his face cracking his knuckles"oh if i see a certain person that attended their. I'm clocking carmel vanille. "He said with malice
"What that women cross you or something?"leon questioned
"Try that bitch leaving my baby sister abandoned in the cold of winter"vance growled which caught them off guard.
"Wait…your saying neo was abandoned by her mom?"cardin questioned shocked that happen to her. Zane was too hearing that about his cousin.
"Yep, though your sister went to a bad school. That places trains girls in elegance and becoming assassins"yumi answered which made cardin jaw drop, now he was worried for his twin sister.
"Okay thats just great….though this thing is–"zane stopped as he messed with his collar until he light up in electricity to their surprise.
"Don't mess with the collar inmate. If you tamper with it you'll be shocked"picto said with a remote in hand releasing the button.
Vance only scowled wanting to break the man jaw"shock my cousin again jerk and i'll teach you a lesson"he warned
"Same here the things probably uncomfortable so give him a break"yumi added but the captain wasn't fazed as zane stood up keeping his composure.
"Fine i won't mess with it let me guess i'm going back to my cell"zane asked but it was the opposite as approaching them was glynda with her group.
"No i've asked the captain here to remove that collar of yours. Which hes suppose to be doing right now"glynda said glancing at picto who returned a glare at the women.
"No offense miss. But that thing should have it on at all times. It can go another killing spree maybe that why it wants to head to menagerie"picto said as this made some annoyed.
"Uhh or because our family is their jerkvance corrected because that was one main reason along with saving the faunus.
"Which is a honorable action at best. But we come to bring good news on those pesky mental suggestion"port annouced which got all their interest immediately.
"Wait but i thought last night fish eater said their was alot of them."yumi reminded as someone decided to explain to them what they came up with. That being nezumi who kept avoiding eyecontact with one person because he was still shirtless.
"Eh well for starter…celeste here got a semblance to enter his mind. Find the memorie of the thing erase it then your free kid. Simply and quick"nezumi said which brought a smile to vanve face as he hugged her catching her offguard.
"That great! Ah man thanks spdiey"vance thanked making the women slightly blush as both leon and celeste eyed each other snickering.
"No problem kid..b-but…please let go you stink"nezumi said as he let go because the three did smell.
"Why don't you three go take a shower real quick. Then meet us at the medical tent"glynda ordered as they walked off. But as they walked off celeste gave a teasing look at the spider faunus.
"So you looking at the eye candy or what?"celeste teased making the women slightly flush as she pulled her hat over her head.
"S-shut up…be focused this is a military base. If you'll excuse me…i'm heading to the medical tent"nezumi said walking off with celeste chasing her. Merlot joined but as glynda walked over port clear his throat getting her attention.
"Yes peter is their something wrong?glynda asked
"Indeed their is, it seems the cooks are refusing to serve the young lad, and gave him spoiled provisions. Someone should talk to her"port clued in as glynda sighed hearing that.
"I'll talk to her later. If she still refuses to serve him just give him some of your rations"glynda replied as he nodded. Then they went their separate ways.
At the showers it was a simple set up with some stalls along with a roof over them. It wasn't the best but the three got shower supplies that was given to them.
"Alright lets get cleaned up then get rid of those mental suggestion"Cardin said adementdaly.
"Yeah because once those are gone. You don't gotta worry about trashing some bot again Z"vance said
"True still can't believe she was a bot. She looked so real…guess my guilt got the best of me"zane replie since they told him yesterday. He didn't buy it but the article convinced him.
"Though uh one problem. You gonna remove the collar or what?"vance asked looking at picto who had his hands behind his back. He stared at them for a moment before walking over to the eyescanner. It scanned his eye until it made a mechanical noise which meant it was unlocked.
"You can remove it during this time but if you try anything. Everyone here will not hesitant to kill you"picto threarned gesturing to a magnum on his hip. He understood as they slipped into their repsctive shower.
Once inside he stripped then turned the handle as cold water came out making him shiver slightly. But waited for a bit as it adjusted to warm temperature. Then once it was at a stratified amount he began to scrub his bodie down with the warm water. It felt refreshing to get cleaned up after sleeping in the dirt.
He began to get everypart of him first with a bar of soap, then once he rinsed that off. Beginning to use some shampoo to scrub his hair for a few good minutes until it got soapy. Zane titled his head forward scrubbing his hair whistling slightly. But some hisses could be heard which still startled him.
"So you excited to finally get rid of these mental suggestion"bane said in his head.
"A little but don't startle me. Rather not start looking like a crazy person talking to myself"he thought because he wanted to avoid looking crazy.
Bane chuckled in his head"alright, though are you alright? Because you seem like you had trouble sleeping last night"he pointed out because he did have small circles under his eyes. Those nightmares he had during the coma, their happening again just like before. Last night he probably got six hours of sleep, but he can handle them like before
"I can handle them like the lab nightmares i–"he stopped mid thought as he looked down as his hands as his vision went red. He saw blood which made his heart start to beat faster as he slowly looked up. Immediately fear sunk in seeing pyrrha their with a large chest wound as blood seeped from it.
"Its your fault i'm dead. Your a monster that needs to die"pyrrha said as her voice became dark as he backed up hitting the stall door as he took small rapid breaths.
"No..i..i'm sorry..i..i-"he quietly said to himself but the vision just laughed at him as she had a crooked grin.
"You ruined the best thing for jaune, i thought you were friends. He'll hate you for the rest of your life"pyrrha said before he knew it her eyes turned red as she lunged at him screaming he yelped slightly as immediately the stall door knocked.
"Hey you good in their? You fall or something"cardin said on the other side. Zane blinked for a moment seeing the vision was gone as he slowed his breathing. Guessing his minds deciding to mess with him now.
"Y-yeah. Slipped slightly i'm good"zane replied.
"Alright. Hurry up lets get this stuff done then we can head off to menagerie"cardin said
"Got it be out in a few"zane replied as he walked away as he let a sigh of relief. Then he began to wash himself down cleaning himself off. Once he got down and changed back into his normal attire he was placed in cuffs since the water could kill him from the eletricity.
"Rather not have our prisoner die. Get moving"picto ordered as they walked to the medical tent.
It wasn't a long walk to the medical tent but once their already hard at work was xander. The young wolf was busy helping ross treating a patient that seemed to just come back from patrol. A swat officer was laying on the table as their pants leg was torn. With fresh blood being seen.
"Alright now i want you to tell me how we should treat his wound?"peach asked
"For starters we should remove his pants either with surgical scissors if an emergency or simply take em off"xander said as he used the scissors to cut off part of his pants.
"Whats next?"peach asked
Xander grabbed a bottle of disinfectant taking the cap off with his teeth then grabbed a cloth. He quickly dumped it then screwed it back on.
"This will sting sir so be prepared"xander warned
"Kid i've dealt with alot of tough things this wo–"the officer stopped as he placed the cloth on the wound making him grunt in pain.
"You were saying tough guy?"Xander taunted making the officer chuckled slightly patting him on the shoulder. Before peach could instruct him next he grabbed a gauze as he began to wrap the leg wound once it calcified. Then once done he placed a pillow under it.
"Their you are officer. A couple days of rest will do you some good. You'll have a scar but you won't lose your leg"xander said as the officer nodded thanking him.
Peach shook her head"it seems your becoming a proper doctor. Looks like kath will be pretty mad i'm teaching her son."she said kwnoingly.
Xander placed a clipboard down as he began to wash his hands down"mom won't be too mad. But she'll be happy to see me i guess, i just hope dad won't hug me to death"xander said with worry dreading that.
"Don't worry i'm sure you'll survive"vance said behind him as he turned smiling at the group.
"Oh hey guys you here to get some medical assitance?"xander asked as his ears slightly twitched.
"Nah try us removing the guys mental suggestion. They told us to meet them at the medical tent"cardin answered which got his interest and someone else close by.
"What let me guess you got someone who can erase his memories"nebula spoke up from the side which susrprsied them she was here. Because right now her head had a small banagded on it slightly stained in crimson.
"Uh yeah though uh what happened to you?"zane asked gesturing to her forehead.
Ross clipped the bandages off"nothing too serious, some workers tool fell on her head early. She lucky she doens't have a concussion"he replied as she hoped off the table.
"Sorry sir but i didn't want that little girl with those group of survivors to get hurt. "Nebula said proudly since some of the survivors are still here from the safehouse. They plan to take them to vacou since most of them are residents of vale.
"Eh well its still very sweet you made sure she didn't get hurt. Though the others are in a private room. Follow me"peach said as she gestured for them to follow her which they did. While they did both xander and nebula joined them.
After a short walk they emerged into a small room with a few empty cots. But waiting for them was glynda, merlot and nezumi along with celeste sitting in the middle of the cots. Though the girl sat in a circle painted with candles lit.
"So uh what exactly is this some sort of senance? We gonna call the dead"zane joked earning a shove from the soldier to keep moving. He just wanted to do a little joke is all.
"Not exactly because for starters we've already told you early that her semblance allows someone to travel inside their mind. Correct"merlot asked as some nodded.
Xander titled his head at them"Wait thats what your going to do? Travel inside his head to find those mental sugestion"he said as from the side someone spoke up.
"Or thinking very dirty thoughts of your older sister and bunny here"coco seductivly said from the side. It caught them offguard as xander looked horrified. But zane went slihglty flush which made the wolf just step far away from him. As velvet blushed slightly hoping that wasn't the case.
"Seriously? Why do you always have to have such a dirty mind"velvet groaned as her ears slightly tiwtched. It surprised them the two where here in the first place.
"What are you two doing here?"cardin questioned.
Coco looked down for a moment"for starters early we asked those gusy what they were doing"she replied gesturing to the four.
"And when they did we told them how we were planning to remove your mental suggestion. Already we got a volunteer to help on the matter"glynda said as the volunteer in question was velvet. Which surprised him she would do this.
"Wait you wanna go inside his head."vance asked confused but was curious actually if their was another motive.
Velvet tapped her figner together"well i know a thing about the mind since i studied medicine. Yatsu…told me a bit..since his semblance allowed him to forget people memeorie"velvet sadly replied which just pained zane even more.
If he never went to beacon all their friends might still be here. He didn't wanna show it but he felt immense guilt for starting the fall but decided to keep a mask up telling them he was fine.
"Thats fine…but i'm sure its also for anothe reason you preventing that snake from killing your girl. Thanks for saving my teammate"coco thanked as he nodded.
Vance scoffed hearing that snakes be mentioned"forgot about him for a bit. Did a crappy job at killing you but left another scar"he said pointing toward his cousin. This begged the question why did he not finish the job.
"Actually thats a good question why didn't he finish the job. Because for starters some studnet told me they saw your body. Sent some guys to retrieve it but they coudln't find it"nezumi said as he told them something surprising.
"Uh well…got a phone call from wolfie, which made him stop in his tracks"zane answered which peeked xander interest. But it also made him think that she must have thought he died and she was the last person who spoke to him. Velvet was surprised but felt relief hearing that
"Really? Huh guess he pityed you though you better make this up to my sister"xander warned again pointing his figner in his face as he nodded. Because he hopes their still together when they see each other again.
"I will already said sorry to vel over here…but i'll do something for you after where done"he replied
Velvet smiled at that"that sounds nice hope its something sweet"She replied
"Can we get this show on the road we don't got time for your love life kid. Hurry up"picto said impatient as the next person to volunteer was the lynx obviously.
"I'm going obivosuly to help my cousin."vance said in confidence wrapping an arm around him pulling him close. They waited for another volunteer as slowly nebula raised her hand to their surprise.
"Why do you wanna go inside his noggin?"cardin question as the girl paused for a moment contemplating her answer until giving it.
"I wanna help out after all the stuff my team did over the last month. And well maybe pay you back for saving my butt. "Nebula reminded as he recalled that.
"Alright then if you all wanna join. What do you want us to do?"zane questioned as celeste motioned for them to lay on the cots. They all did as she tapped each of their forehead making a star appear that glowed like a star. Then she start mediating in the circle as her tattoos glowed on her arm.
"First just relax. You'll be put into a deep slumber. Once you fall sleep my semblance will activate. Then once inside we head straight for the memorie containing those mental suggestions"celeste instructed as if immmedialty they all felt a sense of sleepynesse over them. Slowly vance yawned before closing his eyes, then velvet fluttered her before slowly passing out. Nebula just passed out on the spot as she snore slightly.
With zane he slowly closed his eyes hoping to not see something too bad in his head.
Once they were asleep soon enough he woke up in a water like void as he opened his mouth. But to his surprise he wasn't drowning as he guessed this was like before. Looking up he noticed a bright light like before as she kept swimming up with all his might.
Soon enough he breeched the surface as he coughed up some water as he dripped with water. Following close behind was vance as he shot up panting for air. Velvet followed second as her ears were soaking wet while nebula pulled herself out quickly with wide eyes.
"Thats how we get in here, through a giant lake?!"nebula shouted as she began to ring her shirt out from the water.
Vance shook him off launching water everywhere"seems so but man i thought we were gonna drown or something"he said moving his hair slightly back to fix it. Velvet ears drooped slightly but she wiped the water from her eyes.
"Well it seems we made it. Though uh where exactly is ?"velvet pointed out as the sound of footsteps could be heard. They all looked to see a glowing figure that was colored like the night sky with glowing star tattoos and a witches hat.
"Right here kiddios. Seems you made it through to the otherside of this kids head"celeste said gesturing to zane who shook off slightly. But noticed something that was very apparent the room they were in. several mirrors dotted the places along with statues that seem to resemble people. All of them glowed ommisolcuy while some of them were black out and shattered it seems. This was strange because he thought they be in the dark void like last time.
"Huh weird look guess this is how your semblance functions?"vance asked as she nodded.
"Percisly though uh heads up i aint gonna be able to help you in here. When we run into those nightmares."celeste reminded
"What exactly are these nightmares? You didn't tell us we'd be fighting stuff in here"nebual questioned as someone had some bad news.
"Along with dying if your not careful in here"celeste replid which made the four just stare at her for a moment. Because they weren't told about that before they came in here.
"What?!"the four all said in unison
"Are you kidding me? So if we mess up inside here we could actually die"vance said with worries as his ear kept twitching like crazy.
Velvet kept pacing around like crazy holding her ears for dear life.
"I..i didn't know about that…is it really that dangerous in here"velvet said with worrie.
"Look their not that bad mainly they take of grimm or umm some other things"zane replied looking away rubbing his arm. Because he recalled all those fakes he ran into while in here. It was terrible seeing those, he hoped he'd have a chance to make it up to them.
Celeste nodded"kid right i've dealt with them plenty of time their easy picking. The one we gotta watch out though is something known as a terror."she said which made them worry even more. Last time he was here he didn't run into something like that.
"What exactly is a terror?"velvet hesitantly asked.
Before she could even answer that question someone else decided to reveal themselves to the group in all their glory.
"Oh a terror terrible thing image the deepest dark aspects of oneself. Praticu–"bane couldn't even finish as they all screamed by his sudden appearance. Velvet leaped to the closest thing that being her bofyriend for safety. While vance was on the ground panting trying to calm his heartrate down. With zane he just stared him down with annoyance mainly.
"Wondering when your were going to show up. The bug in my back"zane said with malice. Though he quickly noticed he was wearing his current attire. Guess they shared the same fashion sense.
"Come now you would have learned the truth eventually. I wanted to try and ease into the topic"bane said which begged the question. How?
"How the heck where you going to do that?"vance questioned.
"Telling someone they got a grimm inside them isn't extacly easy to tell the "nebula pointed out the obvious
Bane chuckled as he began to pace around them"i know its a hard pillow to swallow. Though we weren't expecting guest here this place is filthy"bane said gesturing around them.
Because the place in question was abosultue a mess because it was a mixture of random places. Their was beacon academy standing proud but the tower was fractured as debris floated into the sky. Along with part of it resembling menagerie along with the vacou deserts. Their was also the soltias and atlas command from the looks of it.
"Whoa, this place is messed up. Its like everything out of place from the looks of it"vance said in awe of the place
Celeste hummed at that"hmm probably because the kids got amnesia. Judging from all those blacked out statues and mirrors. Their one you lost"she said which peek some interest.
"So your saying those are one he lost?"vance questioned
"Wait could i retrieve ones i lost maybe? Because i got bits and pieces coming back sometimes"Zane asked but that was shot down immedialty.
"Nope we don't got time for taking a tour kid. We have one simply job that to find the mental suggestion memorie then get rid of it"celeste remind their main objective.
"Though ummm back to early what is a terror?"velvet questioned neoruvsly.
"Ah that pretty much image the personification of someones works aspect come to life. What we don't like to reveal to other something usually what your ashamed about or embarrassed about."bane begun as he looked toward zane with a smug look.
"Maybe we'll see a very timid or girly side of him"he finished with a grin as he recalled one thing he got his jokes.
"Forgot you got my jokes, you gonna be cryptic like last time?"zane asked as he shook his head.
"Look lets get a move on check your gear to see how it works in here. The mind can mess with it sometimes"celeste ordered as they all brought their respective gear our. With zane and bane the two had the same weapons as they were very normal. Although for the others it was a very different story.
Nebula held her sword out as it had a trigger on a handle as she aimed toward the floor. Pressing the trigger from one end fired a bolt from it as a small knob was on it. Twisting it changed the tip as she fried an ice bolt.
"This will do though not how my normal sword functions"nebula said sheathing her weapon.
"Hmm alright but my camera looks very weird"velvet said presenting her camera but it looked all glitchy with its color scheme all messed up. Then with a press of a button a copy of ember ceila came out but it kept glitching around like crazy but seemed to work.
"Well you got my rope dart right though…"vance said as he tested it throwing it into the distance as it went for what seemed like minutes. Until eventually it stopped a she gave it a good tug retrieving it.
"My ropes got extended reach which is pretty nice"he added
"Seems everything in order though one problem. How we gonna tell those two apart?"cleste said pointing toward the two perfect clones. Bane just stared at them before snapping his fingers them the colors on his jacket shifted to a new color, crimson red.
"Better can you tell the good looking one from the ugly one"bane smugly asked
"Well i know hes my boyfriend, you just have his face but not the persoanlity I like"velvet replied
"I can tell because red eyes is pretty ugly"vance retorted which made bane have a sour look. The others laughed a little but zane didn't because he was an extract copy of him.
"Har har we get it onward to my memeorie. Please don't tell anyone what you saw in here"zane begged but celeste actually had some bad news on that.
"Actually uh bad news when we interact with certain memories. In the real world an orb plays it out for the others to see"celeste said as the color from his face drained color. He really hoped they wouldn't see anything to embarrassing.
"Ohhh lets not find anything too embarrassing or everyone will have a show in the real world"nebula jabbed as they chuckled at that as zane was freaking out internally at if they saw something.
"If you all touch anything embrassing i swear to remnant you'll pay"zane warned as they nodded in agreement. Soon enough they began their journey into the mind to see what they can dig up. Unknown to them a figure in the distance followed them grinning to itself.
"Hmm seems i have some new prey. Good i was getting bored time to hunt"the figure said in a dark voice as it pursued them. They though hoped to find the memorie quickly.
Seems they are traveling inside the clown of beacon head to remove these mental suggestions. Though we got a bit of backstory for earl and ophelia along with that cardin has a twin sister, fun. Thanks for reading!
