Chapter 30:How A spider and Bull Met

With the others back at camp right now they were busy right now coming up with a plan. Because they all where about a decent bit away from the main camp right now. As they were coming up with a plan on how to spy on their targets.

"So we gotta spy on uncle ryuu and aunt lilu"midney stated messing with an arrow twirling it between her fingers.

Mai hummed slihglty"yep as much as i don't like having to spy against our own. Its come down to this"she admitted sorrowfully.

"I agree its upsetting to hear that your own would do this to you. Though it seems everyone has a bit of greed in their heart."Weiss wisely said as her tail swayed around.

"Aww does your grandpas lesson teach you how to be wise"falk teased making her blush at his teasing. She would have half a mind to summon that arma gigas then send him flying into the sky until he comes falling back down.

midney laughed offering a highfive"nice one pilot boy"she said as he reutnred it as the two other stared the two clowns right now in their midst

"Alright cut the joking attitude right now because get serious"mai reminded as they quickly reofucsd on the task.

"Alright sorry mom so whats the plan. We just follow them around the place until they lead us to their spies or something"midney asked placing her arrow back in her quiver. Though mai had a different idea in mind since their warriors they brought may be apart of their betrayal as well making her think. How many of their own are spying on them right now to help that traditrious women vernal

"I don't think thats a smart move. Because look i'm just now realziing this they might have killed some of their warriors to hide the fact their traditors"mai suggested which didn't surprise them at the slightest

"That might be true so we should be wary of them. Maybe wait until their alone to see if their indeed the spy. Maybe follow them long enough to see if their meeting with their informant"weiss said

"I like the sound of that so who following who since we already paired up?'falk asked

"Well we can follow ryuu. I know where the guy usually likes to hang out see him at the daycare most of the time. Probably picking up haru slack since she got sick"midney stated which made weiss worry about her it seems which mai noticed.

"Hey you good over their ice queen. Because you look pretty worried about haru"mai pointed out as weiss slightly jumped from that but looked down rubbing her tail stroking it. It felt very foreign to her right now but it was relaxing slightly.

Weiss took a moment to respond"i..am….because in the last five days. She really looked terrible lately its starting to worry me. Because she keeps coughing alot and passing out i'm wondering if that fever might be something alot more worse"she answered concerned.

"I gotta agree with you on that. Seriously because if she goes it'll be pretty bad, but some rest may do her some good"falk replied reassuring her slightly.

"Though that leaves lilu we can follow her. I know she hangs around her wife right now with her kid probably being gone. Lets hope that rae sent some of the tribe to look for those three"mai said as they quickly split off from each other.

As with falk and mai the two walked through the camp like usually as everyone was preparing for the worst to come. That being them sharpening spear, making arrows since some carried bows. Along with some placing cartridges into magazine or clips just incase, as they all seemed to be preparing for a war to come.

Along with that their was even some of them forging metal in a large metal shop in the camp. It had several furnace to heat the steel to craft any weapon that suited anyone needs. Along with some making scrap metal armor as one removed a chest plate from a forge as it cooled down. Then as it did they painted on the branwhen tribe symbol in white to symbolize their side.

Falk chuckled seeing this"man its strange seeing everyone wanting to gear up for an upcoming war"he said

"This is nothing you should have seen when qrow and raven started a little rebellion with their dad"mai said to his surprise hearing that.

"Wait those two started a rebellion within in their own tribe against their dad?"falk asked as she nodded

"Yep you've heard it from a few of us already. Though i was still a little too young at the time and when i was starting to date my husband. At the time their mother morrighan was very ill she was suffering from cancer actually at the time. It was a shame she was a very nice women"mai replied

"I'll bet didn't they say that she was all for changing the way of their tribe?"falk asked as she nodded

"Yep their father odin wasn't born into the family but married into it actually"she replied which made him feel disgusted reminding him of another person who married into a family for their name.

"Ughhh just like that bastard jacque…i swear once i get my hands on him. I'll ask aunt sarah to help me string that bastard by the neck. Then have her and her soilder buddies teach him a dam lesson"falk growled catching her interest.

"Let me guess your dad family were all military?"she asked he nodded at that.

"Yep that would be my dad family. My aunt sarah actually apart of something really special in atlas. Something not many people know about"falk said with a smug look peeking her interest a little.

"Oh let me guess its classified"she asked as he shrugged his shoulder

"Sort of she apart of some black ops unit that works with ace ops. Haven't seen her in a long time, wonder how she doing"falk replied as they kept walking for a bit until something came to his mind. That being the women who his friend was staying with mother. She must be devastated to hear her own mother was turned into some monster then she had to die right infront of her again. Not being able to save her from that dam chimera grimm.

But before he could question her soon enough mai whsitled to get his attention. Then she motioned to something happening.

That being lilu right now stalking a certain someone down that being a women from the looks of it.

The women was rather tall and seemed close to be twentie eight with silver grayish black hair along with rupal colored eyes. She wore a purple v neck style top with a light black pleated skirt over a pair of blue tight with a steel gray obi over it but left open to reveal her midrif. As she had a brown belt that hung around her hips. She wears black armored guanlents around her wrist that protrude outward and black fingerless glvoes. She wears tigh length boots that give off a scary look with black armor plating with a silver spalltered pattern on it with the branwhen tribes symbol on the pauldron

On her back appears to be combination of a bladed compound bow that is currently sheathed right now.

"Who the heck is that chick?"falk questioned as mai went wide eyed.

"That would be rae and qrow little sister synin."mai answered to his surprise hearing more about the branwhen siblings more today.

"Alright how many moe siblings do these guy have? Is qrow literally in a family full of girls only"falk jokignly asked as she chuckled slightly but gained her serious nature.

"No….vernal was the last one but i'm surrpied she even here. I'm guessing she just got here recently. I'm sure she might be looking for rae or qrow right now to get the deats."mai said

"But she following her might be trying to kill her we gotta follow them come on"she added

The two began to follow the scared women for a good long while as lilu followed syinin through the woods what felt like forever. As they did falk jumped quietly from tree branch to tree branch as mai used her semblance to keep up with his pace.

That being as she control the foliage around her as the tree branches moved around making a path with her. Her semblance is called garden allowing her to manipulate plants in a small radiace though it isn't the best at times.

As they kept following the two for a good while they soon stopped in an open field. But they were still close enough to see them as they both perched themselves ontop of a treebranch with some leaves perfectly hiding them out of sight.

"Alright she stopped here though why the heck are these two out in the middle of the woods"mai whispered confused

"I don't know but…"he stopped as they couldn't hear them but syinin noticed lilu greeting her as she did the same. It was unaudaible for a bit until they started to walk closer eavesdropping on their conversation.

"So i take it you told her?"synin asked catching the two surprised thinking that even raven own family might be against her leadership. Which pain mai alot to break that to her very good friend and aunt.

Lilu could be heard sighing"no i haven't yet just trying to find the best timing. I…i still can't believe hes gone"she said with sorrowful voice as they watched lilu holding her head for a moment. As syinin placed an arm behind her back rubbing it comforting her it seems.

"I know…but abraham in a better place. I still can't believe that you had to put him down"synin said making them go wide eyed. But trying to get a better listen to their conversation falk leaned forward too much as the treebranch gave way. Mai noticed this.

"Stop you…idiot!"mai said before the tree branch falling down below catching the two women attention at that moment. Immediately synin drew her bow at that moment notching an arrow at the two as illiu took her mace out swinging it at whoever was their.

"Who their! Show yourself or so help me i'll squash you!"iliu demanded as the bushes rustled for a moment. Before both falk and mai appeared as falk had a bird nest in his hair as mai had a couple twigs and leafs on her. Mai spat out a leaf before spitting her tongue out for a moment.

The two women lowered their weapons instantly as syinin chuckled walking over helping mai up as lilu helped falk up to their feet.

"Well i'll be mai! How you been girl because guess who just got back today"synin said cheerfully as the girl glared at her.

"Oh really? Because for starters what the hell are you two doing out here. And what do you mean you put down abraham?"mai asked pointing her spear directly at lilu throat as the two women eyed each other for a bit. As falk drew his own sword pointing it at synin who stared at him annoyed.

"Get that outta my face kid"synin said pushing his sword away as he scoffed

"Fat chance you two are probably working with vernal on betraying your sister. Mad that your tribe isn't going back to the old ways"falk confronted but the women gave him a strange look placing her bow on her back.

"Are you stupid? Why the hell would i betray my brother and sister. Also screw dad because he was an asshole….also an alcoholic. "Synin said

"Guess big bro took his drinking habits"she muttered that part

They werne;t convinced"then what do you mean by putting abraham down did you kill him?"mai growled as unepectly lilu began to break down crying at that very moment which caught them offguard. The women was sobbing uncontrollable right now as synin soften her gaze making her sit on a nearby log.

"Hey it's alright look i'm sure you'll find a way to tell amara"synin shushed rubbing her back gently in a circular motion at that moment. As she did the two were very confused right now.

"What are you talking about? What are you afraid to tell your wife you killed him"falk spat making ilu glare at him with tears running down her face. Then she slammed him down to the ground hard placing her boot on his throat.

"I would never kill my husband you little brat! Its not my fault some psycho cultist, and some soldiers attacked us. Along with some grimm knight!"she cried out as they were caught offguard hearing she encountered one and survived.

"What did you just say?"mai asked shocked as falk tapped on her heel to let him go. Synin noticed this removing her foot forcefully helping him up as he gasped for air coughing at that moment to get air in his lungs. As they sat in silence lilu walked over to a tree sitting against it balling up hugging her legs tight.

"Alright what exactly are you talking about? Because that would mean another one is in the anima"mai questioned

Falk got his breath back rubbing his throat"yeah…do you know which one it was?"he asked as the women began to shake violently taking small rapid breaths at that moment. This was when mai took action taking her by the hands kneeling infront of her.

"Calm down alright, look take a deep breath in then out alright. Slowly."she instructed as she did that taking a breath in slowly then exhaled.

"Alright do it a few more times"syinin added as she did just that to get her nerves under control at that moment. After a bit she calmed down finding her voice soon enough.

"Thanks for that…but…but i don't know what to tell my wife or my kids even"iliu cried again as falk wondered if she probably say her own husband die. Which might have borken her heart seeing someone she loved die right before her eyes.

"Lets start with what happened, what type of grimm knight did you run into"falk questioned softly as lilu began to think about it for a moment.

"Well…i…i…at that village we were sent to. Everything was going smoothly like usually doing our rounds. Me and abe got…well a little touchy one night"she started with an embarrassed look as they didn't need to hear that part.

"Alright we aint hearing you two doing it. Please don't go into the details of you two love making"mai teased slightly to liven things up as lilu sighed with an upet look continuing.

"Well the next morning that day as we all having breakfast with the village chieftiss thanking us for protecting their town. Suddenly a bunch of the unseen eye showed up with those…crimson talon guys you guys mentioned. But something else was with them…one of those things"she continued trembling in fear hesiaitng to continue as mai gripped her hands tight to calm her.

"But…but…we tried to fight them off but those soldier were armed to the teeth. We began to evacuate anyone we could, but…as i tired to make him leave he…he went back for someone baby"she cotnineud with tears breaking through again as mai now hugged her comforting her as she leaned into it. Falk dreaded what might be happening next.

"He…he gave me the kid then ran back to look for more people. But then some…thing tackled him to the ground one of those grimm knight. It grabbed him shooting him in the legs with a pair of revovlers dual wielding them"she continued catching falk offguard hearing that, because a thought crossed his mind. His friend cousin sported a pair of dual revolvers.

"No…no…no…fuck. Oh no that guy can not be alive, no way hes dead. They can not have brought him back from the dead"falk said panicking now confusing synin

"The hell you talking about kid you know this grimm knight that tried to kill her husband"syinin asked as mai guessed what he was implying.

"Crap you thinking that blackburn girl cousin called omega from the fall"mai suggested but she had a different designation.

"Thats not what it called itself, it kept calling itself subject Xi. It also had a pair of wings on its back like some reptile"lilu stated making him sigh in much relief hearing that. He rather not have to kill a friend. Then she continued.

"Though that thing…it grabbed him as i looked at him through someone rifle. He looked in so much pain and i didn't want him to suffer. I…i…"she coudlnt' finish sobbing right now as mai held her close consoling her the best she could. After a bit of time it passed letting her go. After some time it seemed she might not be their traditor after all.

"I guess you aint the traditor i'm assuming"falk asked as the women glared at him with tears still on her face.

"I would never betray our tribe. I may have butted heads with rae and qrow in the past. But…i respect with what their doing. Instead of fear people actually respect us…it might not survival of fitness or the strong kills the weak. But seeing people who can't protect themselves thanking us for helping them. It…feels nice"lilu admitted as they decided to part with them for a bit as they might need to talk to raven about this development later.

Although with weiss and midney the two were busy waiting outside the daycare right now for ryuu. The two seemed to be waiting their forever right now as they been staking it out for an hour now. It felt like nighttime right now even.

midney groaned loudly"when the heck is he gonna leave literally i'm going to die of boredom out here"she whined loudly and annoyed

Weiss groaned herself having to deal with this"look its not that simple you have to be patient on these sort of things"she replied

"Oh really miss huntress. Let me guess youv've done these sort of things before in the past i take it"she asked

"I did when one night we had to stake out a white fang rally. Along with fighting an atlas mech that was in its prototype phase"weiss answered catching the girl interest now.

"Really? You guys fought one of those big mech i heard about them on the news. Saw them too on a new article too on my scroll when the fall happened. Didn't someone hijack them or something?"she asked as a somber look came to weiss face.

"Someone did…that would be lazuli father roman torchwich"she answered catching her a little offguard hearing that girl father was a criminal but noitced her upset look.

"Let me guess the guy scarfieced himself to keep her and those siblings she mentioned safe"midney asked as she nodded. In a way weiss could relate to her she wants to keep her two brother safe no matter what. But she doesn't even know where they are now probably in jacuqe custody as we speak.

But part of her felt free being away from him and atlas being in the woods. The last week has made her feel relaxed along with her new apendgaed. It was an interesting experience getting used to have a tail now. But with everyone support and help she gotten used to it.

"Yes. apparently from what i heard from falk a bit ago they tried to head to the ship he was on to save him. But the escape pods were launched and the doors were sealed. He rammed the ship into a nearby building to shut the bots down to save some people"she started as her tail drooped to the ground.

"It also seems that her cousin was doing the same thing…i know eria doesn't show it. But she feels guilty about his death"she continued

"Why would she feel guilty for him dying?"midney asked

"Because he went looking for her from what my sister told me and perun. He kept coughing blood up alot…but he did one thing a leader should do i guess. Protect their teammates…which i hope to reunite with soon"she said smiling as her tail wagged at meeting those sister soon wherever they may be.

midney sighed patting the girl on the back as it made her stumble a little but caught her balance quickly.

"I'm sure you'll see those two soon. I haven't seen that dumb weapon nerd sister of hers in like three years"midney said earning an icy stare from weiss.

"That dumb weapon nerd is my parnter…remeber"she codly warned as midney backed off plaicng her hands up. But then she noticed something or someone leaving the daycare right now that being a very tired looking ryuu. As he was waving someone goodbye.

"Well seems our little conversation sped up his shift hes on the move"midney said as weiss nodded

Quickly the two began to follow him sneakily as they joined in random conversation between some tribe members. Along with keeping an eye on him the best they could as they noticed him walking toward a specific part of the camp. As he did they saw him looking around to see if someone was around.

Then he was talking with someone out of sight at the moment but they evasropped on their conversation.

"So i take it you got what i requested?"ryuu asked

"I did i'm sure she'll love the little gift you got her. I'm sure she'll reward you with something if things get better"a male but familiar voice said as midney and weiss eyed each other as both pulled their respective weapons out. Then sneakly midney nothced an arrow toward ryuu head.

As weiss plunged her sword to the ground contracting as a glyph appeared below her as soon enough something emerged from it. That being a manticore she slayed alongside mercury and emerald that night rogue went out to kill grimm in the morning. The summon manitcore roared catching ryuu offguard before quickly hiding something behind his back.

"Alright ryuu and whoever your mysteiorus friend is. Both of you hands up because we got some questions for you"midney ordered as the mysterious face peeked around the corner to reveal vlad standing their to their confusion.

" what are you doing over here. Are you actually betraying your own daughter"weiss presseed pointing her gunblade at him. The bat huffed as he flapped his wings.

"For starters I would never do that to my little girl. My wife may be gone and she all i have except for my grandaughter. And….dravan"he said with a annoyed look on the jackal name.

Midney kept her bow focused on them as the summoned manticore prowled forward on the defensive incase they try anything.

"Then explain to us what you meant by she'll reward you when you get better. And whats behind your back"weiss demanded as ryuu looked at them for a moment before pulling something out from behind his back. That being a bottle of sake with a couple of pink petals detailing the bottle. Along with him holding a box of chocolates in his hand, this confused the two girls heavily.

"Okay…you two are trading…candy and booze. What the hell is going on here?"midney questioned

Vlad sighed"well as you may know i'm a family man myself. But when i was in mistral for a bit ryuu asked me since he needed to be stationed somewhere. To grab him a few things for him and harus anniversary"he answered to their surprise as weiss found that confusion.

"Wait are you implying their married? Your alot older than her which i find very strange"weiss pointed out as the man sighed holding his head.

"Look…i…i love her alright..but…she..i wanted to make our last anniversary together special"ryuu said which confused them again as weiss unsummoned the manticore.

"Your last anniversary…what are you talking about? Are you saying that your going to break things off with each other?"midney asked confused as the man just held his head as vlad looked at the two with a sorrowful look.

"Dear you know how that cough of hers keeps getting worse. Its because shes dying"he somebrly answered as it hit them like a truck that she was dying. Which made sense to weiss how she kept passing out and struggling to keep up lately.

"But…but…how? Why would she be dying is it probably something she caught. Their is medicine to treat certain sickness and diseases"Weiss said

Ryuu sniffed rubbing his eyes"not when she amlyoidsis"he replied to her shokc but to midney confusion.

"Amly what? What the heck does that diesease do?"she questioned as weiss looked heartbroken since her mother and klein mentioned it before.

"Its a rare diasesd caused by the build up of proteins called amyloid. It makes it difficult for certain organs and tissue to work. Without treatment the disease is fatal in five years, due to heart failure. Chemotherapy works but….its usually fatal"weiss answered shocked right now as ryuu nodded

"Yep, been doing what i can for the past few years to make her life special. Please don't tell her i wanna keep it a surprise."Ryuu begged as they both looked at each for a moment nodding.

"We will but please join us because we need to talk to "weiss aksed as he nodded joining the two as they left ryuu to speak with raven.

But right now raven was rather busy right now herself because she was somewhere else right now. That being guiding lee along with verona who was holding luna in her arms through the woods. The man was very cautious of this right now because he had the perfect moment to strike. But couldn't since raven praticualry outmatches him in strength.

After their silent walk for a bit he decided to ask"alright rae what are we doing out here anyway?"he qeustioned

"I mean you tell me to follow you into the woods after discussing on how to deal with vern. I'm getting a little scared"he added as the two women eyed him down as verona sighed with an upset look holding luna very close to her as the tot held her stuffed uras in her little arms for dear life.

"Lee…just…just be prepared what your going to see alright"verona said trying not to cry to his confusion.

"Where are we going rae?"he questioned again as she didn't answer but instead they soon reached the top of a hill. Once they did it overlooked the valley below them as it showed the trees in the distance along with a large open area with a stream down below. Along with the distant mountains. But the sun was starting to set over the valley right now.

Though standing infront of them under a tree was a gravestone with a wooden cross planted over it. Which faced away from them as figured it out, he may hate them for the way of things. But he surpsignly hurt to hear his old friend was alive.

"This is her grave i thought you'd like to see it. Buried her facing the sun so she could always see the sun set and rise"raven said before placing a hand on the wooden cross with a somber look. They just stood in silence for a moment for respect as some footsteps could be heard behind them. Verona was suddenly embraced by her father as she leaned into it sobbing a little.

"Its alright dear, i know you knew each other a long time. But shes at piece now"vlad softly soothed as luna hugged her mother with all her might. Raven noticed the others here as mai looked down at her mother grave.

"Guess you get to meet mom uncle…before…before she was gone again"mai said choking for a moment. Lee sighed rubbing his face.

"Guess i do…still a dam shame to hear she was alive. Wish i was here to see her one last time"lee admitted as he wiped a tear away. As a moment of silence passed raven stepped forward.

"I take it your search went well?"raven asked as they nodded beginning to explain what they found. How apparently lilu was with synin which surprised raven hearing her sister was here. Along with that hearing how she ran into a different grimm knight. Though they said ryuu was just planning him and haru anniversary to vlad annoyance.

"So that what they were doing…and abrahams dead. Well i never expected that they lost their son and husband. Jeez"lee said shocked

"Yes that is quite upsetting. But…a grimm knight with revolvers you don't think.."weiss was stopped

"Uhh news flash she said it had wings. Do you remember that guy being able to fly plus remember their still looking for his corpse"falk reminded which didn't help. Raven guessed that witch is making more of them but how many.

"Thats not surprising look we'll pick this up tomorrow. They may have alibis but that doesn't remove them as possible suspects."raven said as they regrettable agreed on that before deciding to turn in for the night.

It was the dead of the night as midngith came as in their cell emerald, bashira and tock were exhausted from today. Mainly because they were put to work in the mines all day long doing mainly labor in those mines. Which didn't really help them with their current bedding.

"I can't believe we keep working in some stupid mines like forced labor"emerald groaned laying down very exhausted

Tock panted slightly"Well lets just hope*huff* we can come up with another plan. Because i rather not fail again then we all gotta fight zaff. Last punishment was pretty brutal"she said

"Yeah though…where the heck is eria?"bashira asked until suddenly their cell down could be heard opening. As shay was dragging someone with two bandits behind him as they glared at him.

"Morning ladies guessing you got worked hard today. Because guess what we got a prize for you"shay said sultry.

Tock scoffed disgusted gagging slightly"were not going to see your little baby carrot your packing down their. I should know i pity dated you for a day"she smugly said to emerald and bahsira sagrin even the bandits laughed as shay looked very anger. He growled stepping forward pistol whiping her in the back of her skull sending her to the dirt.

"Shut it bitch, just returning the heirness though she may be a little jumpy"shay said as the bandits threw eria in without her leg. But she had tears straining her face as she was crying still.

"What did you do to her you sick freak"bashira growled as he laughed at her expression before walking back out of the cell.

"Nothing much just that vern taught the brat a lesson. Who know someone her age would be scared of a little bit of a dark. Too bad she didn't have a night light"he mocked as the bandit laughed at him leaving the girl. As quickly emerald went to check on her.

"Hey are you okay?"emrald asked concerned as eria was still sniffling right now but seemed asleep right now. Which tock noticed sighing.

"Poor kid tuckered herself out probably. Look let her get some rest we can discuss a new escape plan or something tomorrow."tock said laying down using her hands as a makeshift pillow. Bashira layed down using her jacket as a pillow as emerald hesitated for a moment. But relented since they'll need their strength

But hours later in the night as emerald struggled to sleep for a moment she just layed their thinking about their current situated. She wants to tell eria that her own sister suggested the murder idea. But she didn't want to break her heart, but as she layed their her ears weren't on par with faunus but she heard something.

"I'm sorry….we should have stayed together…its my fault your dead."someone muttered turning to the source revealing it to be eria. An upset look came over emerald face before walking over sitting next to her beginning to pet her head whipping the tears away. Rogue isn't here but she might as well watch out for her.

But on the otherside of the woods right now as with their makeshift campsite set up right now was yang and her group. Though as they were all eating some of the jerky that lazuli had in her pack jay was finally up but felt rather sore after being shot in the gut with an arrow.

Though he was more than happy to see yang"man i can't believe your finally here blondie. How long has it been since you last visited the tribe."he asked as his tail swayed

"Bout two years i think. I think we did a surprise visit for uncle when him and mom birthday came up. He got too busy and we got worried, so dad set up a little surprise for him"yang replied eating some jerky.

Bert chuckled"you mean how his second in command baked him a normal cake then…a mud cake"he said shivering at the thought.

"Well i still can't believe that you didn't know the twins uncle was your uncle second in command. Kinda obvious when that blondie kept mentioning him alot back in beacon"lazuli added as yang thought about that for a moment.

"Must have slipped my mind, although…"she paused before smacking saxon hand away as he was trying to reach for one thing their provision.

"Keep your hands off me girl i'm starving and i requie nourihsment. Because i'm alot more important all of you here."saxon smugly said again to their annoyance. Roxy growled before pointing her dagger at him with a glare.

Roxy roared before tackling him to the ground brining up her dagger to stab him but quickly lazuli restrain her pulling her back. As she disarmed her as she kicked and screamed trying to break free.

"You killed him you bastard! You shoved him my brother down while that thing tore him to shreds! You should have died instead of him"roxy said crying her eyes out as adam glared at the man right now upon hearing him do something so dispecabel. He may hate humans but he knows how wrong it is to kill someone he may have done it before. Buts its a path you should never travel.

"The girl right so do us a favor and keep your dam mouth shut. "Bert supported to the suited man annoyance.

"Oh shut up. Sorry that i'm far more important than some peasant sorry that your brother got in my way. Well at least he now where he belongs in the worst part of our world. Hell. you two were probably hoodlums before those bandits caught you. "Saxon smugly said with a shit eating grin as yang glared at him. Standing up she smacked her fist into her palm as her eyes flicked to crimson red.

"Buddy keep your trap shut because if you don't…"she said before punching without her gauntlet hard into a tree. As it left a very noticeable dent from her sudden punch as saxon gulped very nerovusly seeing that.

"If you don't i'll knock your lights out"she added as the man scoffed before retreating to somewhere close by. As roxy got up walking away from them but still visible enough for them to see her. Once yang sat down all of them were rather annoyed.

"Okay why is that guy here seriously. Is he from atlas or something aren't their borders closed?"jay asked

"I don't know back at the camp he said he was a travlering company man or something"yang replied grumbling slightly but lazuli tapped her chin feeling like she heard that last name before but couldn't qutie place it. But as they sat in silence for a good long while yang stared at adam for a bit as he noticed it.

"If you have a question please just ask it, or are you going to ask if i feel guilty for hurting blake. Because i do"he said again but she had a different question.

"No…for starters how you and that spider faunus even met. You two seemed very buddy buddy from what wolf ears and blake told me"yang asked as he looked down hearing that placing his hand over his eyepatch sliding it off to reveal his SDC brand. As yang noticed that it blindly his entire left eye.

"Jeez that looks like it hurt"bert said as lazuli felt rather somber seeing that recalling what he told her.

"It does but it was also the day i got my branding along with my parents being executed. Then i met ollie along with his sister kuma"adam begun his tale on how he met that lying spider.

Eight to nine years ago.

It was a cold day in the atlas mines as the workers cotninued working tirelessly through the day and into the night as it was time for them to sleep but their sleeping quaterts where rather cramped and cold. As walking through the place crying right now was a younger adam, who wore a tattered red shirt with a pair of black sweatpants. Though he was scred, cold, tired and not sure how to handle anything now since today he lost his parents.

He can't even see out of his left eye now because they placed a piece of hot metal on it. As he finally got to the resting area where it was less cold but still cold none the less. He soon collapsed on the ground nestling himself in a corner crying with his one good eye.

"Mom…dad…why did you have to leave…please come back"the younger adam cried for his parents. But soon someone answered.

"Hey you doing alright over here"a boy voice spoke up startling him as he looked toward the sore.

That being a younger ollie weaver wearing a tatter brown oversized shirt with tatter black pants. As he seemed rather dirty but with a bright smile on his face like he didn't mind where he was.

The young adam shook his head"no…i'm not my…p-parents are…we just want to go home..i have no left"he said with an upset look. The young ollie looked hurt before tapping him on shoulder before offering a hand.

"I'm ollie weaver…my parents are gone to. But my big sis kumo told me to keep on looking toward the positives. "The young ollie said as he hesitantly took his hand shaking it.

"I'm…adam tarrus"he introduced himself sheepishly as the two boy stared at each other until someone came over.

"Dang it little brother their you are i was worried sick"a female voice said as the two boys turned to the source. That being a female girl with tan skin herself as she had green hair that was long and reached her back. Along with that she sprouted a green sweater that looked rather torn but still warm. As she sport a piar of blue pants with ruined shoes.

But she was a spider faunus herself with web sac on her wrist along with fangs in her mouth. This was kumo weaver ollies older sister.

"I was just saying hi to a new friend i made sis"he innocently asked as she chuckled joining the two sitting down.

"Really well then i'm sure his parents are worried about him"kumo said before this caused the young adam to break down crying. As if instinct kicked in she pulled him into an embrace hugging him as he cried himself to sleep that night missing his parents deeply

Present

As he finished his story on how he met ollie it was rather shocking to hear that right now. Yang herself could admit that just sounded very upsetting.

"So…you met him after your parents died. Thats upsetting"jay said

"Yes though it wasn;t long after until his sister was gone as well. One day she was showing him how to use his threds. A guard caught her then…used her own threds to hang her by the neck. It broke him that day…shortly after that we escaped atlas"he finished his tale as they sat in complete silence for a moment. But as they did a cry could be heard as they turned to the source. As luckily lazuli packed a few flares in her pack before twisting it tossing it to the direction of the screa,

Once the flare light up it revealed something that being roxy in the wendigo grasp as it chewed into her neck. Immedialtty bert dossed the fire out as they all dove to hide as he helped jay into a nearby bush. Then yang, adam and lazuli ducked into a log as saxon jumped into a bush.

Soon the wendigo finished its meal as it tore a chunk off roxy flesh swallowing it. Then it started to prowl toward the campfire that was slightly lit before it began to make a cracking sound as something strange happened.

"Qrow ''it spoke in raven voice to their shock. As it kept calling out in raven voice it soon stepped right infront of the hollow out log as lazuli was about to gasp but adam covered her mouth shushing her.

The wendigo kept prowling around the place right now as it soon spoke again"kill…yang…branwhen"it spoke in a distorted voice before it titled it head in an opposite direction roaring dashing off toward the source. Once it did they all emerged with confused looks.

"Okay is it me or…did that thing just say your name?"jay asked peeking out from the bush.

"I..think so, but why would it wanna kill me?"Yang asked as they only wondered why it was after her for some reason.

Seems we figured out what is wrong with haru that she is dying from a diesease. While we met qrow and raven little sister synin it seems. Along with that it seems the wendigo is hunting down yang to kill her. Thanks for reading!
