Chapter 35:Catch Up and Reunion
Over with onxyia right now she was very busy doing one thing mainly catching up with a very old friend of hers from her childhood. As her and sombra were at a coffee shop right now that was just a simple stall. But they both got their own respective cups as sombra ordered a black coffee while the wolf ordered a lattee along with a blueberry muffin on the side. As the two just talked.
"You have to be kidding me! You were in a huge foodfight and it started over some chick getting a pancake in her hair?!"sombra said laughing
"Oh it was something alright. Seriously it was a blast with rogue my teammate who that twin sister i mentioned kept throwing food from a giant pile of food laughing like crazy. While my leader at the time got a watermelon stuck on his head. "Onxyia said laughing taking a sip of her drink which felt refreshing getting this small boast of caffeine in her system right now, because she really needed it.
"Anything else crazy happen in your school while you attended?"sombra asked as the wolf thought for a moment chuckling messing with the necklace around her neck
"Well um…i..um actually got a boyfriend believe it or not."she said quietly though her friend heard it as it was pure silence for a moment until sombra screeched pulling her old friend over hugging her tight right now as her tail swayed around excited
"Thats such great news to hear! Bout time you found someone i knew someday you could do it you just needed to have cofndience in yourself"sombra congraulted but the wolf blushed even more because their was more.
"I um…also have a girlfriend…i was in a polymary relationship"she muttered with an embarrassed look to her friends amuzemnet as she grinned at her. As sombra leaned over grinning like no tomorrow hearing this
"My…my…my when did that shy wolf i used to know become so bold. You got two sweethearts fauning over you. I take it their here or somewhere in the world right now"Sombra asked but an upset look came to the wolf face right now looking down at her coffee staring at her reflection just trying not to cry again like shes done for a wee straight. Sombra noitced her on the verge of tears before she looked upset
"Oh…cousin what happened to you. Don't tell me they both…"She didn't finish as the wolf shook her head whipping the tears away from her eyes sniffing
"No…my um girlfriend is alive my boyfriend died during the fall of beacon. He stayed behind and all i…i managed to get a phone call from him on his scroll"onxyia started before gripping the necklace tight around her neck thinking about his last words as she visible shook as sombra placed a hand on one of hers as the wolf shivered
"He couldn't even breath….he kept struggling to..and…and i had to break the news to his own mom here. But…but….i've lost so many people right now in the last month. My parents are devastated right now"she cotninued confusing the girl for a moment why her aunt and uncle are hurt
"What are you talking about cousin? I got some mail a while back from my mom saying how xander ran off to join the fang. Though your not apart of it anymore but where is that little twerp. Pretty sure i could wrestle him like we did as kids"sombra said grinning but this caused the girl to break down crying before the cat realzied what happened as she covered her mouth pulling her friend over holding her close rubbing her back
Onxyia leaned into it heartbroken right now but was happy to see her friend though she was very devastated at the loss of someone she loved right now along with her own brother.
"I'm so sorry to hear that right now….i…god what happened to him. Don't tell me that he died in some stupid protest for those terroist"sombra said with a growl as onxyia shoot her head pulling herself away whiping the tears away again
"No..i…that spider faunus…ollie…he…killed him. That psycho killed my baby brother along with akasha a freind of mine. I swear to god i'm going to make him pay for what he did. Especially after that psycho took a baby holding him hostage"she said with a growl making sombra stand heir for a moment as her eyes twitched for a moment growling slamming her fist on the table shaking it
"That psycho did what?! Seriously uncle took that guy in when he had no where to go and this is how he repays him. Seriously next i see him hes going to be clocked in the jaw."sombra growled as onxyia laughed slightly for a moment as it was awkward for a moment. Though soon enough sombra decided to change topic hoping this will cheer her up
"Though heard you became a huntress and got into beacon academy. Along with being on a team how was it?"sombra asked because the wolf laughed because her friend always wanted to be a huntresses like her uncle diego, sombra father
"It was great i was partner with one of the twins on my team named eria hayley."onxyis started as her friend raised an eyebrow chuckling
"A fellow heiress that something to have two rich girls on your team. Though heard both of them are missing though you had a leader right.?"sombra asked as the girl looked at the sword on her hip sighing looking down nodding.
"Yes…but we did go on an epxedition a while back together out first one. It was something after finding a grimm faunus and then stopping a invasion on the town that we helped stop with my other friends help. Along with that i see blake and and weiss coming in riding on a pair of uras. Uras funny enough. Granted i also survived a long sea trip on a grimm infested ship recently"onxyia explained taking another sip of her drink as sombra shivered
"God i heard about those grimm hybrids going around. Seriously from what i heard their are these thirteen knights of grimm. All of them are nutcases even that one that started the fall wasn't he at your school or whatever"sombra codly said but instead of agreement she was met by the wolf on the verge of tears again confusing her for a moment.
But then she thought about what she heard about that grimm hbyrids team how he was on a team with two hayley heiress which made it click with her.
"Oh…oh that thing was on your team? Don't tell me it tried to kill you"sombra asked worried but the wolf glared through her tears correcting her
"Don't talk about my boyfriend like that…he had no control….they…they used him. Please don't call him that"onxyia said hugging herself crying as the cat realzied her mistake just gently hugging her tight for a moment
"Oh i'm sorry…mind telling me exactly what happened? Because i'm the type of girl that wants to know something before i peg someone remember"she asked as onxyia quietly explained to her the events leading up to this point. Along with how her boyfriend was under mental suggestion surprising her as she told her story.
"Thats what happened….some psycho used mind control on him…and…and some snake faunus gutted him. But…"she was stopped as sombra put a hand up shaking her head
"Don't gotta continue i understand. I'm guessing you've been dealing with alot of stuff latly though you probably wondering where i've been"sombra replied as the wolf liked to change the topic now as she does recall how her friend she know since forever was sent away to some broaidng school or something. If memory serves her right it was because she got in alot of fights and her mother wanted her to be more ladylike
"I do recall that around three years ago you got sent away to some boarding school or something. Mainly because aunt lisa wanted you to stop getting in so many fights"onxyai replied recalling that
Sombra sighed taking a sip of her coffee rubbing her neck"yeah i got sent to some boarding school or whatever. Mom didn't like me being all boyish though its how i role. Though that school is well…."she paused at the mention of the school
"That is probably full of pompous jerks their"onxyia snarkyl asked as she nodded
"You are right about that though a few of them aren't so bad. But seriously all they make us do their is pratice etitque along with praticing to defend ourselves if the need arises. Though i'm just glad to be out of their seriously three years of this stuff has sucked on so many levels"sombra said but kept a straight face for some reason like she was hiding something
Onxyia giggled a little"well maybe you need to work on being more ladylike. Maybe then you could get a boyfriend yourself"she teased a little to her friends embarrassment who flicked her on the forehead as she rubbed the spot she hit.
"Shut up miss i had two lovers….though i bet your wondering why i'm even here."sombra asked
"A little bit. If your in some boarding school did you get kicked out. Because if you've been their for three years i'm sure you had perfect marks"onxyia replied as sombra avoided her gaze for just a moment on how to say it
"Well uh actually where on a field here since the headmistresses wnated to come here. Though since i live here i think shes going to talk to the chieftain here for a small tour of the island maybe. While i have to help with it…."she said before pausing tapping her chin looking at her friend
"Hey you think blake and jaz could help us maybe."she asked as the wolf thought about it before nodding liking the sound of that idea right now. But soon she decided to reveal something else she got
"Oh i got got this to help with my grieivng mom said it might help"onxyia said to her confusion before sticking her tongue out to reveal a tongue piercing.
"You got a piercing. Well aunt kali and sienna got a bunch might as well have one of us start"sombra as they sat their talking soon enough someone called out to the two faunus right now.
"Taupe! I thought the headmistresses told your suppose to stay with your assigned partner. We need to meet up with her later or it'll be our heads you fool"a female voice called out.
The two turned to see a girl who wore the same uniform as sombra from this academy she went to except she wears a silver pin on her hat. She had long black hair with a brown polish at the end. Her eyes color was bright cyan with silver eyeliner as she seemed rather annoyed
"Uh sorry i saw a very good friend of mine i knew since we were kids"Sombra said bowing to the girl as onxyia stepped forward
"Hello i'm sorry for taking her from…"onxyia started but she cut her off
"Just what that you freak of a faunus is trying to get us in trouble. Your very ignorant to be associating yourself with someone from a different class than you"the girl said rather rudely making onxyia hold her tail stroking it a little scared
"Can…can you not be so rude i'm rather self conscious about my traits. I just wanted to talk to my friend i knew since i was a kid"onxyia replied trying to calm the tension
The girl only huffed"well i Mavis whicnehster will not froget this ecnoutner. What is your name wolf?"Mavis said with ana uthroiative tone.
Onxyia wasn't liking this girl right now though that last name sounded familiar making her curious if she was related to someone who bullied her back in beacon. She still holds a bit of a grudge toward him actually.
"Do you want my full name or in partial?"she asked a little annoyed by her rudeness
"I prefer your full name or is that too hard for you to say girl?"Mavis said almost mocking her
"Okay. onxyia blair i'm apart of team ZERO"onxyia introduced herself as the girl interest was peeked but scoffed
"Well onxyia blair. I will most certainly not forget your face along with that team reputation right now. Come along now taupe we must be going"Mavis said walking off as sombra looked at her friend sighing
"Sorry Mavis a little uh…rude she really is a stuck up girl sometimes. But once you get to know hers she swell though gotta go talk to you later"sombr asaid leaving the wolf to process this encounter as she was curious about that encounter thinking maybe next time to ask her if she related to cardin.
Although over at the blair house right now it was a rather dreadful scene as right now at the home was katherine who just woke up from her cry session early in the morning. As the women was right now in one part of the house that she kept the way it was.
That being her son room as it was a very simple room with a singular bed in the corner of the room. Their was a dresser that had several knicknacks or soruvenirs her son has collected over the years. Along with that their was a catcher mit along with a pair of binoculars on his dresser with some framed photos along the dressers. As some of the draws where slightly opened with some of the clothes being messy or unfodlded inside it.
While around the room it was dotted by some posters of some bands or movies her son loved to listen to or watch in his free time. With even a few huntsman posters telling people to join the fight to stop grimm. While their was also a desk with some books on the table. Mainly books on how to fight being a few of them and some survival books. But those looked barely touched whil several medical books seemed used right now with several postage notes and notes inside the book making the women find it poetic.
How their eldest daughter found a love for hunting and asked her husband to teach her the ways of tracking and survival skills. While her son recently got interested in medicine to treat his friend ben who got bullied sometimes since he was an easy target at times. But that made the women also think of that poor boy family because they also lost a loving son long ago to the same spider pained her that she even took that little brat into her home and cared for him like the son she never had.
But she did take in that ilia girl which she found strange and was thinking it might be like him all over again. Though the girl has been trying to make herself useful around the home the best she could by helping with chores. Along with trying to find a job which is hard for someone with her previous background. Right now katherine was just staring a photo of her son with his sister from long ago. With blake and jazmine next to them along with a certain bull faunus adam tarrus but with his right eye covered by an eyepatch with ollie weaver their with an arm wrapped around xander and ben smiling in the picture.
Katherine growled looking at him"miserable little brat i took you into my mom and all you do is cause misfortune for my family"She said gripping the picture frame in her hands tight as her ears twitched like crazy.
"But no all i get return after treating you like my own son is using my daughter. Forcing her to join some terrorist cell and tricked her into helping torch towns. She cried for a whole seven months because of you. Then you trick my son into helping you…you get his best friend killed then…you get my baby killed. Because he wanted to leave your dam deranged group."she said setting the picture frame down holding her head for dear life
"I swear to god if i ever see you again i'm going to defang you and string you by your neck by your dam threds."She growled though someone from the doorway called out to her chcukling
"You'll have to beat me to it kath. Because i'm very mad that boy killed someone i considered a nephew"lisa said in the doorway as colt was near her as the wolf rubbed her eyes sighing
"You heard everything didn't you?"she asked as the two nodded as lisa walked inside the room taking a seat on the bed with the women placing a hand on her shoulder. Because she can tell she still struggling to sleep from the small circles under her eyes.
"Dear have you not been sleeping alright because i know its hurts that your son is gone. But…"she was stopped as katherine growled at her
"Of course i'm fine! Not like i just lost a piece of me or anything right now"katherine said as her ears straighten out as she stood up pacing around the room. Colt looked hurt seeing this because he was dealing with two women now who lost their only son. It seemed naida and her shared that though luckily that women was very busy helping her niece dress up for a date she has tonight which distracted her from drinking thankfully. He even heard mari was helping her real quick since aruna went off to do something
Katherine paced around like crazy"you at least still have your child. But me…i only have my little girl….who sometime streated like an outcast by our own people. For what having another trait…when i had her i was overjoyed to see that i had someone so unique be my daughter"She said trying not to let the tear slip away as her throat closed up as she swallowed
"But…i was so happy to have my baby boy. How…he got interested in medicine like me…i was hoping for when he got older i could teach him or mentor him. Maybe him and kai that dumb peacock could have bonded since he was actually like an older brother to him. But no….ollie just had to use my kids for his own gain"She said as tears were slowly slipping out of the edge of her eyes
"Everything is terrible…why…why does this world hate my babies..wh–"She was stopped as lisa pulled her into an embrace sitting down with her on the floor as the womens leg layed sideways. Placing a hand on the back of her head she gently petted it
"I know it hurts dear….but your not alone don't ever forget that. "Lisa softly said as katherine sobbed leaning into it slightly crying into her chest as lisa patted her back to get it out
'Get it out dear…just let it all out"lisa soothed softly as katherine just cried and cried for her son she lost right now. After some time she got her emtoions under control as she pulled away looking down on the ground sighing
"Thank you dear…i needed that"she thanked
Lisa smiled"no problem you were their for me when i lost my husband years ago on that mission of his. Declan was devastated more than anyone but i'm sure he'll get through this eventually. Were here to help you through your grief"she said with a cheerful tone as the wolf appeircted it
Colt smirked at this cracking his back with a loud crack being heard"though if you want heres a suggestion. This might sound upsetting but maybe along the way to havan you and walker could talk with each other. "He suggested confusing the two faunus.
"Why would she do that exactly? I understand she lost her son as well but why"lisa said as the boxer eyed her for a moment as she relaized she said it.
"Oh….i get what your playing out. That might be beneficial for you dear to talk to someone whos gone through it…twice now it seems"lisa said as katheirne liked the sound of that right now nodding before they returned downstairs. As they got downstairs they were confused to see the front door opened right now as colt got a defensive.
"Do you know if your husband or daughter came back yet? Or left to do something"colt asked riaisng his fist up ready for an attack. Katherine thought for a moment shaking her head because she doens't know where they are.
"No…no not really…my husband might have left to talk to ghira. My little girl might be visiting his grave or training"She said as colt slowly walked downstairs on the defensive right now as lisa pulled out a taser hidden in her purse. As the two were ready to attack who was ever their as the floorboards creaked at that moment.
Right as colt turned the corner he swung his fist into someone punching them in the gut. Then he tackled them to ground getting ontop of them struggling for a moment placing their arms behind their back pushing their face on the ground.
"Okay buddy if your some white fang assassin or robber you picked with the wrong guy to mess with right now"colt warned but beneath him was ambrosie who grutned and groaned from the sudden attack
"Ughhh dec….be a doll and tell this man right here to get off me. I may like it rough sometimes and swing for gentlemen. But you didn't tell me i'd be attacked"amrbosies whined to his confusion as both lisa and katherine stood their surprised right now seeing the two faunus their as immediately katherine screeched hugging the nearest person being nix pulling her in
"What are you two soucnrels doing here right now?!"katherine screeched in joy as nix chuckled returning the embrace
"We just got done with a mission back in mistral actually. We were in the neighborhood and decided to come for a visit. Though…abrorise got his ass handed to him like the good old days"she teased making the man growl at her slightly.
"Oh go suck an egg you dumb cat….oh wait you like fish"he retoted as the women rolled her eyes. As colt realzied the current situation before helping the man up before dusting himself off for a moment
"Sorry my bad been paranoid everysince that psycho pider faunus did something to my friend leader."colt apolgozied as amrbosie shook his head
"Your quite alright. I didn't mind a strapping man like yourself getting on top of me. Though i usually have someone ask me out for dinner first before i go that for"he joked as colt chuckled
"Funny….though dec who the heck are these two exactly?'colt aksed as the wolf was smiling right now as his tail wagged around in joy wrapping an arm around the two pulling them close.
"Oh lets just say my two old teammates from my time from beacon came by to visit. Which is the best thing to happen right now in the last week"Declan cheered in complete joy as katherine was happy for her husband right now since it seemed to make his mood become alot less sour and rage fuled. But she dreaded about telling the two the terrible news that befell their family
They all got sat down as katherine along with lisa quickly got some drinks and snacks made for them mainly being some riceballs. Setting the tray down katherine to pouring out some drinks for their friends as they began to talk.
"So how was this mission you two went on. I'm sort of the resident huntsman here on the island we faunus call home"Declan asked sipping his tea.
Nix groaned"if you count that i got assigned with some rookies in my opinion. Seriously i had to babysit some new fresh huntsman and huntresses while they were on a mission. "She said in annoyance
"Oh really? What happened because i recall back in the day how you all went on a wide variety of missions back in the day"lisa reminsied as ambrosia laughed at her for a moment.
"You mean how our first expedition led us to your fathers dye plantation back in vale. How you were all being harassed by several bandit attacks at the time. Along with that you were very different back then. Very snobby and bossy toward us despite being close to your age"he spat back as the sabertooh eyed him before plucking one of his feathers making him hoot as he rubbed his wings for a moment.
"I still am the old me sometimes you dumb owl."lisa warned placing the feather down as the other laughed at her antics as declan sighed remembering that day very fondoyl right now. Mainly because his dumb best firend hes know his entire life since they were kids seemed to work his charm. Him and diego knew each other as kids and their parents knew each other as well which made them hit if off. Though he passed long ago during some mision around eight years ago and all thats left was the jewled tooth he would have on his person at all times.
Nix chuckled leaning forward"i do also recall how a certain leader of ours managed to peirce your snobby little heart."she teased making the women blush at that clearing her throat for a moment
"Yes well…depsite his antics i truly loved my husband for his kind heart. That man did alot of good no matter what not because he had to. Because he wanted to…i…still miss him at times"lisa admitted somebrly as amrbosie sighed
"Same here though…at the end of that missions didn't you gift him that dumb jeweled tooth he had. After welll he saved you from being thrown into some machinery but he managed to chip his tooth causing him to lose it"amrboise recalled that day as katheirne chuckled
"God that man….always wearing that stupid tooth of his. Though wasnt it stolen recently by the thief known as swan"katherine asked making lisa growl as she clenched her cup in hand cracking it slightly slamming a hand down
"Whenever i get my hands on that dam thief. I'm going to string her up by the neck and make her pay for selling that tooth my husband cherished. Luckily i still have his spear…but if she comes here to take that…"lisa paused before dragging her figner across her throat as both colt and declna eyed each other. Mainly because they both know that thief is the niece of nadia along with being the daughter of roman torchwich
They got into a small spat about learning about that truth but settled it quickly. How they did that was him and a few others explaining how they stole things to get by. And actually she never sold it because the buyer said she'll give her twenty thousand line for it but she knew it was worht alot more than that meger amount. If he recalls she still should have it.
Katherine hummed drinking her tea for a moment as nix eyed the women looking down sighing before leaning over hugging her suddenly
"Dear why are you hugging me all of a sudden"katherine said setting her cup down but the women just lightly squeezed hugging her
"Dec told us what happened to your son…i'm so sorry….i'm so sorry hes gone kath"nix somberly consoled as katherine froze up on that moment fighting the urge to cry but couldn't again as she was just as emotional like her duaghter burying her face into the women shoulder crying again. Nix just held her for a bit as they let a moment of silence past till she released her.
Declan looked at his wife who just stared at the ground as he was still very hurt that son of his is gone. Because he wasn't a better parent by just leting him run around and not displcining him more when he was younger. Amrboise sighed rubbing his face
"Same here sorry to hear that little guys passed. Hows your daughter handling it right now?"amrboise softly asked
Declan collapsed his hands together breathing out"shes been managing it i think…but shes also in pain right now. Mainly because she well actually got a boyfriend."he said to his two teammates shock as nix laughed for a moment tapping him on the shoulder
"Hey congrats dec. now you have an excuse to be nosy toward your eldest guess that guys been helping her through it."nix said but she was wrong as colt sighed
"Actually no…that kid…i uh well viewed him as a nephew. He um…passed actually and that poor girl had to hear his last words, along with taking his last breath."colt sadly corrected making the two faunus pause for a moment worried how their teammate is dealing with the grief and worried for that girl.
"Oh…dec your girl doing alright because i know your hurt man. But…seriously that just upsetting"amrboise asked concerned
Katherine grabbed a tissue close by rubbing her eyes sighing"well my little girl is handling it sort of….though her other partner who is her girlfriend. Has apparently been getting harassed back in vacuo for who their little boytoy was"she replied with a slight horased voice making the snow leopard faunus looked confused but with shock
"Wait…your shy daughter. Who was so self conscious about her traits and eyes. Had two partners….god dam shes got your charm then dec"nix said trying to liven thing up as katherine laughed slightly
"If you count the charm of him asking me out after he broke his arm. Then stared at me before suddenly one day asking me out on a date after breaking a rib"katherine teased slightly making them laugh as declan tail swayed around for a bit as he grabbed it stopping it. He does agree hes happy for his daughter but is worried how she is handling all of this right now.
"Yep dating some rabbit girl or whatever. Though um…you know how her team reached the final round in the vytal festival. Made me proud that day for that win she got in that round"declan said as nix scoffed a little leaning back in her seat
"You mean how that thing was playing for whoever those terroist are. Because i mean seriously how did that school even allow a freak like that in. did it try to kill your kid because i heard its dead. Which thank god that thing is–"nix was stopped as colt growled reaching over grabbing her easily by the throat lifting her up in the air slamming her against the wall glaring
"Whoa take it easy their big boy and set her down"amrboise said pulling out his weapon pressing a button as from the top of it emerged a long blade that was curved as he pointed it at him. But the boxer ignored him pointing a finger in her face.
"Don't you dare talk about little z like that. I watched someone i consider my best friend raise him and her daughter like they were their own. Not my dam fault some psycho kidnapped a little kid expeirmenting on him. "Colt warned as nix pounded on his arm to let her go as declan sighed walking over gently moving him away dropping her to the ground
Falling to the ground she hacked and cough for air in her lungs rubbing it as it left a vsibale handmark. It felt like her throat was in a tight vice that was constricting on her throat. Though the two were confused for a moment.
"Why the hell you defending some murder? Because that thing was one of those thirteen knights"ambroise said but katherine walked over slapping him across the face to his surprise as she glared slightly
"Don't talk about my daughter leader and boyfriend like that. Especially around her or his mother and sister….their devastated that hes passed on."katherine warned to the two shock as ambroise slowly hosltered his weapon.
As they decided to explain to them why their so adamant on this grimm hybrid. Going into brief summary on the events that happened and what they've heard. They discussed how appernelty someone used mental suggestion on him and colt added in something he heard from blake. How immediately that kid tried to shoot himself when the match was over as declan and katherine didn't know about that part. After a bit of time they finished their explanation as the two faunus sat their taking it in for a moment until someone spoke.
"So…your telling us your daughter fell in love with some grimm. But was very different since some people say they have bleached skin?"amrboise asked as they nodded
Lisa sighed"apperenlty yes hearing this was ridiculously when i heard it. Though this is just my opinion he did help kill people"She said making colt glare at the women
"You better not say that around my friend or anyone else. Because right now she is devastated to lose him again. She does go back to the bottle but i've worked my ass off to make sure she hasn't"colt warned as she continued
"Just my opinion dear. Though anything else interesting on that little boat ride from mistral"She asked as the two faunus smirked at each other for a moment
"Well…lets just say a certain someone daughter is back from boarding school. Who might help cheer up a certain wolf daughter who was her childhood friend"nix sweetly said to the blair parents shock especially lisa who just smiled upon hearing her daughter was back in town jumping to her feet in joy
"My little girl is back in town! Oh that wonderful news we should invite her over for dinner tomorrow with everyone. Does that mean her boarding school is here"lisa asked as ambrosie nodded
"Yep lady browning academy for girls"ambroise answered to the faunus surprise but keeping a straight face was colt. Who actually knew about that school but kept his peace now as he might need to talk to someone later as he pulled his scroll out texting someone about this possible problem.
Although a couple hours had past at that time as someon was still in the process of getting ready for something at that moment. Mainly being jazmine as helping right now was her mom, ilia along with aruna. But jazmine wasn't enjoying it at all right now.
Mainly because she took a shower real quick because her mom suggest she smell extra fresh for tonight. As her other clothes were being dired and washed right now. As she just wore a towel that wasn't exactly ideal for her right now. While kali was busy shifting through several clothes for her daughter to wear.
"So could we hurry this up because my date is at like three and its 1:30 right now since we decided to grab a light snack before dinner tonight"jazmine asked crossing her arms so the towel doens't slip off to reveal her naked form
Aruna giggled a little"oh come on cousin it'll be fine besides….kinda funny how were helping you plan a date while worryinging about a terroist attack"she said as kali hummed at that grabbing some clothes
"Well we earned a day off from all the hard work we've been doing for the last week. Though that fire was quite a mess….i do hope our home is restored soon"kali said as ilia sighed rubbing her neck
"Your lucky ollie didn't go with his first option for attacking your house"ilia mentioned making them just a bit curious what he was going to do.
"What exactly was he going to do at first?"jazmine aksed neoruvsly as ilia skin turned green and blue saying she was neoruvs herself as she sighed
"Plant bombs all over the island and distract you then plant one in the main house."ilia answered as they were glad that didn't happen at all during it. Though soon enough kali found the perfect outfit for her daughter
"Here we go how about this?"kali said as she hoped it would match her daughter beavhior and quirks.
That being a simple black sleevless wool sweater with a matching scraf colored purple with gold lining it. Along with a simple pair of blue jeans and pair of black dress heels with a golden buckle.
"Hmm this looks nice you sure this will work?"jazmine aksed neoruvsly
"Yes i';m certain now get dressed up and–"kali was stopped before suddenly zoey walked in with that mysterious arctic fox by her side holding her close as the women was still crying. As sun walked in but blushed looking at jazmine who scrreeched covering herself up
"Gah! Knock please! Go away and get your perverts eyes away from me!"she screeched throwing a shoe at him nailing him in the head.
"Sorry! I didn't know you guys were doing this seriously!"sun replied as he aovided his gaze as after ten minutes soon enough she got dressed in the outfit but felt embarrassed right now as was sun. though zoey was sitting down hugging the women with her for dear life crying into her shoulder.
"Okay who the heck is this chick exactly? Because fox tail over here is hugging her awfully close"aruna said
"Yeah because….why is she crying exactly let me guess someone said something about her brother"ilia added making zoey hug the women tiger crying at that as the fox shushed her.
"Its okay foxy….look for who i am. Names akata blizz mistral huntress and for how i know her. I'm her girlfriend"the women introduced herself but that made a few of them freeze up hearing her relations with her
"Shes your girlriend!? How the heck didn't i know about this since you let me room here?"sun asked as kali laughed slightly
"Theirs literally a picture of the two over their dear"she said pointing to a nearby picture that showed zoey and the same women as she was kissing akata on the forehead. As sun felt stupid for not seeing that, though after some time zoey stopped crying as akata pulled her back whipping some away with a thump
"Feeling better?"she softly asked
Zoey nodded"yeah i…just heartbroken that my baby brother is gone again. Its…nice to see you again…snwony"She said with a very horased voice as akata petted the women head slgihtyl
"I know…i got that mail from you a while back telling me the good news. But i take it now their bad news since i noticed the news has been slandering the guy lately. Our little home getting attacked by faunus or something?"akata asked
"No my husband made sure to do a little speech as some people figured out after the fall she was related to him. After their little reunion when they visited though he explained how she was taken from her years ago. And had no clue about his involvement in it which they believed thankfully"she said as zoey growled as her tail fluffed up
"People are still descrating his grave! I keep having to make sure they don't destory every few hours because they thought it be funny"zoey growled in rage but akata petted her head for a bit calming the girl it seems as ilia laughed at that.
It reminded her of akata when she would get stressed out she wrap her in her arms holding her close telling her to calm down and everything will be okay. Though after some time sun wanted to aska question
"So uh….why can she call you that nickname?"sun asked
Akata grinned as her tail swayed around leaning against zoey"you mean how i'm a special case on getting to call my foxy that little nickname"she cooed making the women blush at the teasing because she hated it being done to her.
Kali laughed slightly"that just adoabrle although…junior told us how your brother called you that. It must bring back terrible memories"she softly said as zoey decided to reveal something linked to that nickname she got.
"Actually back then i…i really hated him for a year stragiht. I found that dumb nickname he gave me to be so annoying"zoey admitted as aruna chuckled
"Try wolf ears earning that nickname he gave her from a plushie"aruna joked as they looked at her for a moment as ilia laughed for a moment covering her mouth
"Thats just cute….aka called me her little ilia…rhymed with my name."lilia said with a slight downcasted look on her face but kept her spirits high still. As zoey sighed chcukling continuing
"Though uh used to call me that name alot hated it so much that uh…one day mom left to grab dinner for one night. Told me to watch him, i decided to read a book i loved as a kid though he climbed up on the couch. I looked annoyed since he wanted a hug which i refused and well…he…"she paused for a moment
"What did he yank on your tail or something"Sun joked as she nodded
"He did step on it. Making me push him off making him cry his eyes out, mom comes home worried what happened. We get in a small argument saying how hes my baby brother and well i blew up yelling at her saying she wasn't my mom."she said with a nervous smile as kali rolled her eyes
"I'm sure that hurt that women dearly but seeing your still calling her mother. You fixed it?"she asked as the fox smiled remembering what happened next
"Yeah…she came to my room telling me how she had a choice to just drop me off in some orphanage. But no gave me a chance of a lifetime raising me like her own…then he comes in with some dumb muffin saying sorry with my real name. Then i called him my brother that day"she finished smiling as her tail swayed around at the thought missing him dearly right now still. But soon enough jazmine looked at the time
"Oh i gotta go so uh see you guys!"jazmine said zipping out the door as they just talked for a bit to pass the time
After succefsully making it into town looking for the ice creamed hair girl as it was a bit of struggle for a bit. Until eventually she spotted her thanks to her hair though noticed what she was wearing right now.
That being a brown skirt that reached below her knees along with a pair of black stokcing a sshe sported a white dress blouse with a pink interior with pink lining the collar and cuffs of it as well presenting her modest bust size. Along with wearing short black heels making the cat blush seeing that.
Neo stood their antsy but noticed the cat waving to her to come over as she did as they were at a local sushi restaurant.
"Oh uh hey neo you look great"she compliented which make the mute slightly blush a little as she signed to her
"Thank my aunt for this…she made me try ten different outfits"she signed slightly annoyed as they took their seats
"Try mine playing dress up with me for the entire morning. But just teased me nonstop same for you i guess"jazmine asked as the mute nodded as soon enough someone came by smiling at the cat.
"Well heyya jaz you come by for your usual?"shawn asked with a notepad as the cat realzied where they are her favorite sushi place wondering if her sister told the mute about this place
"Uhh yeah though um i brought a date"jazmine said embraced slightly as neo meekly waved blushing as the gecko faunus chuckled before taking their order. After five minutes they got their respective orders as jazmine got a small bowl of rice with some rolls. While neo got some rainbow rolls and a small bowl of rice with beef. As they began to eat.
"So….how are you doing right now like mentally. Not to make things sound aweful"jazmine quickly replied as neo smiled slightly as she thought for a moment
"I'm doing better now. Its been a little troublesome back in auntie place since all i hear all night is her crying her eyes out. At least its not like before"she signed
"How bad was it before i think you mentioned it before?"jazmine asked
Neo fidgetted with her necklace for a moment"well if you count from when i heard from dad and sis. She almost got herself hurt with binge drinking since she only did it for special occasions. But when she upset…she resorts to that"she signed sadly as jazmine didn't like the sound of that
But glanced at the girl necklace for a moment as neo covered her chest up rolling her eyes"this is our first date quit oggling at the goods."she signed as the cat went flush by that accusation
"I…i wasn't staring…okay maybe a little. I was just curious about that necklace did your dad gift you it?"she asked as the mute nodded presenting the necklace proudly like a scared object
"He gifted it too me and siblings along with my cousins so we could always find each other. Though right now thats a little hard….though i hope wherever sis is she fine. But for my brother…i kinda wish i can visit vacuo right now to stop him"she signed with an upset look as jazmine tapped her chin snapping her fingers
"Hey doesn't yahto have sisters or something in vacuo?"jazmine asked as the mute nodded with a confused look
"Well just saying he wants to head back home to check up on them let them know hes alright. Maybe he could stop their grab your brother. Along with that grab some of your friends and cousin girlfriend. Bring him over here to help us out"jazmine stated as neo smiled at that idea because it sounded wonderful as she clapped her hands overjoyed to hear that which made the cat smile. The two soon payed for their meal as they stood up until someone bumped into neo sending her to the dirt. As a voice piped up
"Oh i'm so sorry i wasn't paying attention…are you alright dear? A women voice said as the two looked toward the source but neo flinched seeing her. That being a women in her early froties with brown eyes and short brown hair. Her outfit consists of a long pink dress with pearls around her neck. With a pin of some academie on it.
"Your fine miss though i'm jazmine and um…you are?"jazmine asked as the women shook her hand bowing
"Carmel vanille. Pleasure all mine say do you know where the chieftain is i planned to meet with him. Since beatrix had to escort some of the girls for our academy"carmel asked
"Oh your talking about my dad. If you want he should be at the house i can show you where he is"jazmine offered as the women smiled at that following the cat but right now neo just stared at the women the entire time. Because that was someone she was very familiar with.
Seems that neo had a wonderful first date but it seems she had to run into someone from her past...her mother carmel. But we also got some backstory on sombra slightly along with her and declan two teammates hearing about their loss. While akata my own oc is the girlfriend of see what the next chapter will be!
