Chapter 36:New Additions
Across the island right now was blake and company as mainly they were still at the docks right now talking with buckley about something. That being mainly whats been going on lately and how their trip back to mistral went. Along with waiting for the right moment to ask him a question.
Though the old sea captain was sitting down holding sorrel in his arms as the man had a finger near the bengel faunus who was trying to grab it. As he moved it closer to his face sorrel tried to grab it but buckley moved it away with a hearty laugh.
"Ah wee lad you need to be quicker than this."he taunted though the baby reached up yanking on his beard hard as he yelped but he giggled at him.
Cella the captain second in command laughed at that"captain you gotta be careful. Even the smallest people or in this case the youngest can beat yah. your case he got your beard"She said patting his shoulder as the old captain grumbled a little as sienna sighed amused
"Its still nice to hear that you all were safe on the rest of your journey. Though i take it you were successful in reaching argus?"Sienna asked
"We were though we did have to drop off mordercai and his partner back in argus"buckely said rocking sorrel in his arms peaking blakes cursitoy on some of the passengers they met during that little cruise adventure.
"Really? Let me guess their continuing with their huntsman work or did you kick him off for his drinking"The cat faunus asked but it was quite the opposite actually.
Buckley smiled as he bounced his knee for a moment"no actually once we were docking the lad asked for some time off. Mainly to head back to vale and visit his wife and child grave. Eliza accompanied her friend to make sure he got their alright. Though shockingly he didn't have a drop of liquor the entire way"he answered meaning might be seeking help for his lose
"Which is a god send in my opinion dumb sharpshooter couldn't shot straight if it was infront of him"Cellla commneted leaning against a small piece of wood sticking from the dock.
Sienna hummed trying to recall other"oh did help that couple get to where they were going safely? I'm sure a few people here would be glad to hear if they were safe?"she asked as cella nodded
"Yep from what i heard actually those two actually got the prosthetic from your friend. That women came back to the ship in tears gathering their things since they also lived in argus. Should have seen her face"cella added
"That sound wonderful. I'm sure jaki was overjoyed to hear some good news for his family. Although that poor man own daughters are both missing now"sienna said as blake thought about that for a moment. That couple for some reason her train of thought made her think of those two possible being the culprits in eria kidnapping as she was deep in thought as buckley noticed
"Something on your mind las?"he asked startling her a little
"He right the only time you do that is when your thinking. Your father does the same thing at times"sienna added as blake sighed regretting this
"Well…what if…those two actually helped kidnapped eria and weiss. I know its a very weird speculation but didn't they say they weren't well off. Are we sure they didn't take the two?"blake asked because the news said they were taken in atlas but they might have helped in it. Cella looked at the cat faunus strangely laughing
"Kiddio no way. The doctor on the ship even had to help her along the journey and bonafide proof her legs were crippled. No way she could have done anything and those two are not criminal masterminds in my opinion"cella said dwelling baleks worry for a moment
Though as they sat their talking for a bit footsteps could be heard on the dock coming down toward them. Until suddenly a voice called out.
"Excuse me are you sienna khan?"an older women said
Turning to the voice it belong to a women who was easily six feet tall. She is thin with fiar skin and grey blonde hair swept to the right side. She has lavender eyes with dark eyeliner. The women wears a dark blue jacket, white blouse, gold scarf, and matching knee length dress with black rights and hig heeled boots. She wears a silver pin over her ehart that is adorned with a triskleion emblem.
As several other girls were with her that had academy style uniforms on. The bengel faunus looked at her for a moment
"Yes that would be me. Why are you asking for something because if your asking for a trip to the doctor. That would be my husband"sienna replied
However the women just simply laughed at that shaking her head gently bowing to her as a sign of respect.
"No dear. I just know of your reputation as a huntress along with being the voice of faunus. Just surprised to meet a celebrity today on our little field trip to the island here"she replied
"Oh so your visiting our island. Well you sort of picked a terrible time to do that though you may need to leave by now"blake said
But this earned a very disapproaving look from the women and gave a disappaorivng grunt.
"Child the adult are talking right now. Please be queit and show some manners"the women replied rudley making blake glare slightly. As sienna crossed her arms with a glare
"Dear your talking to the current chieftain eldest daughter right now. You need to show her a sign of respect. She has a right to voice her opinion and don't talk to like that again"sienna said already not liking this women right now
The women looked stunned a little bowing"my depest apologies for acting rude to you miss. Its just proper eqtitque for my school to let the adult speak while the children wait their turns"she replied as blake still really didn't like her
"Though this would be beatrix browning. The owner of lady browning preparatory academy for girls in vale."buckley introduced the women who bowed to them.
"What is this academy of yours exactly?"sienna asked as the woman smiled
"I am the founder of the fine academy. My girls here are from elite families all over remnant actually. We mainly focus on proper mannnerism and social etiquette to properly prepare them for the harsh and cruel world of ours. With the inclusion of those awful grimm knights"beatrix replied as someone was walking over right now mainly being aruna who found two others with her at that moment mainly being Mavis and sombra. As the bengel kept talking to her old friend
"Oh man i can't believe your back in town. Man i haven't seen you in years"aruna cheered as sombra nerovusly laughed
"Yes it has been quite a long time. Though i'm quite busy right now because i need to meet at the docks with our headmistresses"Sombra replied before they got over as beatrix eyed the two down at that moment clearing her throat.
"Miss taupe and winchester. Where in the name of remnant where you two, i thought we said be here back at the docks by 4:00pm sharp its…"she paused pulling out a pocket watch
"Its three minutes past 4…what were you two off to?"she added but blake turned around eyeing the cat faunus as the two stared at each other as blake smiled walking over hugging the girl.
"Sombra! Oh i haven;t seen you in years how have you been?"blake asked excited as sombra hesitated to return it but did as hey tail swayed around in joy before separating bowing slightly
"I've been fine but…"sombra paused before her eyes went into her skull seeing her friend with a metal arm instead of her normal hand
"What the hell happened to your arm?!"sombra shotued as her tail straighten out as beatrix shot the girl a glare making the sabertooth look down in shame right now. Most of the girls mumuttered between themelsve right now as they snickered at the girl as some of them looked worried.
"Miss taupe. I suggest you kepe that harsh langauge out of that. Because your on thin ice for being late here and i quite frantically have half a mind to destil detention on you for your misbehavior"she said as sombra flinched but aruna gave the women a side eye
"Hey lady my cousin over here is freaked out my other cousin lost her arm. She got a right to freak out buzz off"aruna spat back making her give another disapproving grunt.
"How rude. Your parents should be ashamed for how you behave. Because quite frnaitcally you need to learn proper eqttitque"beatrix warned as sienna stepped in line right now crossing her arms
"Lady that my daughter she can be an idiot at times i'll admit. But for starters don't tell me how to raise my own kids. That girl is quite shocked by my dear friend daughter loss of limp during the fall of beacon."sienna stated but warned as beatrix sighed bowing again
"I'm sorry but why were you two late?"she asked
Mavis bowed slightly"were sorry ma'am we were late because we ran into a situation that needed our attention. An elderly women needed help and as proper ladies we helped her. It would be improper to not act and ignore it"she replied a sbeatrix studied the two for a moment smiling
"That will do girls. But if you may do you know where your father is dear. We would like to take a small tour of the island."beatrix asked as blake thought for a moment nodding
"He should be at the house follow me"blake said before guiding the group toward the house at that moment. It wasn't a long walk to the house as they arrived as everyone was still hard at work rebuilding the house. As faunus were nailing in boards on the destroyed section of the house along with a few of them even moving building equipment.
Though right was ghira who was talking with junior along with kali and nadia their as well. Mainly because they were just talking about their next steps for the house and mainly what they been doing.
"So the house is coming along nicely right now. Though it will take us a few more days to finish it up"junior said
Ghira bushed his beard for a moment"that is quite a problem. No matter i'm still waiting on news from my daughter and sienna on the arrival of the ferry"he said as soon enough someone called out
"Well we have the ferry along with that we know the captain of the vessel. Though we have some uenxpected visitors here today"sienna called out as they turned to the group. But nadia eyed down beatrix for a moment along with junior as the two shared a concerning look with each other right now. Kali noticed a face as she suited it going wide eyed
"Well if it isn't sombra. Oh how have you been dear i ahven't seen you in the last three years"kali said hugging the girl who returned it
"Hello is a pleasure to meet you again"sombra said lady like to her confusion slightly
"Well it seems that where your mother sent you off. A school to be raised like a proper heiress i take it"she asked as the girl nodded looking away which junior and nadia both noticed. Though beatrix soon stepped forward bowing to the man as did the rest of the girls as she snapped her fingers at them to do it.
"Its quite a pleasure to be in your presence here today sir. I take it your wondering why my school has decided to come visit your lovely island today"beatrix asked
"I do but you came at a terrible time right now miss. Were quite busy and we can't have any tourist here right now. I'm sorry to say this but you may need to leave our island for your safety. Were dealing with quite an emergency rigth now"ghira said as buckley studied the house for a moment humming for a moment
"Seems your home is in quite a mess. Though if you want i can spare a few of my workers on the ship to assist with it. Were stuck here anyway"buckley stated which made them curisou
"Wait what do you mean by your stuck here exactly?"aruna asked making beatrix side eyed in complete disgust
Cella sighed rubbing her shoulder for a moment"mainly we ran into some repair issues. Few sea grimm attacked us on our way here and damaged the engine. It'll take us at least a couple day of repairs to get it in working order. Were unfortunately stuck here"she said as this put a dampin on their plans right now as kali liked the sound of her house being repaired quicker
"Hmmm how about this you repair our house and tomorrow we can give you a lovely little tour of our island. And then have you all over for dinner tomorrow because your school seems well kept"kali replied as nadia slightly went wide eyed scratching her head
"Nah we shouldn't it would be too much for them"she argued
"Nonsense it won't be much of a problem although….dear someone is behind you"ghira said to sombra as suddenly someone pulled her into an embrace shoved into her bust that being her mother holding her daughter close to her.
"Oh my previous little girl…i've missed you so much sweetie. What are you doing here?"lisa said sweetly to her daughter embarrassment but had tears on her face before burying her face into her chest crying a little.
"Huh guess the kids pretty happy to see her mom after three years. Though you've gotten quite big last time i saw you were short"decan said as the girl hugged her next with an upset look sighing
"I ran into onxyia early…i'm so sorry for your loss uncle"she cired a little as the man just returned it a little as his tail wagged seeing her as katherine looked at the group for a moment confused
"Who are all of you exactly?"she asked until soon enough kali noticed jazmine walking over with someone else right now mainly being caramel next to her with neo their. But she just kept staring at caramel with a hurt look right now.
"Beatrix their you are dear. I was wondering where you were right now because this place is quite spacious"Caremal said as beatrix smiled at the women
"Ah their you are my star studnet. This right here is carmel vanille top of her class in everything and the most exceptional in her skills"beatrix introduced as carmel bowed but nadia eyes began to twitch clenching her fist in complete rage but kept her composure at a minimum. As kali noticed her daughter as she smirked at her which the cat faunus noticed
"Don't you dare say it…we'll talk later"jazmine said
"Yes though i must say thank you to your daughter she helped me find my way here. I take it you asked them if we can take a tour of their lovely island"She asked as ghira nodded
"You may but you will be underwatch for your protection just incase. Come by tomorrow in the afternoon to have the tour after lunch time. Then at night we will have a small feast and just talk"ghira said as beatrix nodded as her and her girls left with smiles still along with caramel but as sombra was about to leave she was stopped
"Oh wait sorry to ask this dear. But could i steal my daughter from you so we could talk and catch up"lisa asked as sombra fidgetted for a moment
"Sorry mom i have to return back to the ship to have a meeting with the headmistresses"sombra said but Beatrix thought for a moment
"I'll allow you to talk to your mother for now tonight dear. But I expect you to be back before nine tonight. If you don't arrive back at the boat you will be unexcused for tommorrow activity to reflect on it"she warned as sombra was surprised but bowed
"Thank you ma'am I'll do that"she said as they walked away for a moment though kali noitced neo with a very hurt look which worried her thinking the date went bad
"Dear are you alright did something happen?"she asked as neo was about to sign but stop shaking her head
Nadia noitced it sighing"my niece is properly upset that women ruined their date. Besides let eat up and talk because we might get the house fixed tommorrow"she said as they nodded in agreement walking inside. Though colt glanced at nadia and junior as the three knew who that women and that school is.
As the hours ticked away through the day walking toward the hill right now was onxyia along with ilia. As well with zoey and akata with sun tagging along. Though right now walking with them was mari with her niece. Though right now akata was gushing over the uras faunus surpsingly
"Awwww look at you. I forgot how despite your little white skin you still look adorable"akata cooed as her tail swayed around nuzzling her
Piper laughed"pretty white fox lady"she cheered cutely making their hearts melt as akata kept gushing over her. Onxyia found it a little surprising that she so used to her appearance. Though whats more surprising is who she is.
"I'm a little surprised your used to her appearance. Though i'm more surprised that you have a girlfriend actually"onxyia said to the fox who rolled her eyes.
"You guys never asked me about it. Seriously i'm not the only one here who fancies girl"zoey said in confidence as ilia and onxyia both eyed each other. Though sun just had his hands behind his head chuckling at that cracking his knuckles
"Then theirs me….the one guy who digs girl only. But yet no other girls who dig me seriously they scared of me because i'm drop dead handsome"sun said with a smirk as they all stared at him
"Monkey boy is really ugly"piper bluntly and sweetly said to his annoyance but they began to laugh at him that he got destroyed by a mere tot.
Mari covered her mouth laughing a little"my own niece just said your ugly….oh that must be so shameful for you . Better start cleaning up that face of yours"she teased
"Yeah seriously because i'm just finding this hilarious that a little kid just destroyed you"ilia added laughing as sun rolled his eyes not really bothered by it.
"Hey she had a good comeback to my joke. Though nice one piper"he said offering a highfive as piper just lightly tapped it not really understanding the gesture. They all kept walking up the hill toad their desiantion for the night though along the way they saw someone standing outside at the front door seeming to be waiting for them. That being summer who was just leaning against the wooden door of the home.
"Oh miss. Rose what are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be inside for dinner tonight?"mari asked as akata glanced at the women but her tail drooped to the ground in complete shock who was infront of her. But she immediately was starry eyed
"Wait a minute…aren;t you summer rose from team STRQ!?"akata asked excited as her tail swayed around setting piper done. Summer wasn't expecting that type of reaction it seems like she has some fan.
"I um…well..yes..that would be me the old leader of team STRQ. probably its ex leader right now though. You are?"summer asked as akata waved to her
"I'm akata blizz and uh this one girlfriend over here. I'm a mistral huntresses actually"akata quickly introduced herself to zoey slight embarrassment at that moment.
"Why are you so excited to meet her? We get it her team is infamous in beacon or whatever"sun asked as the arctic fox realized what she was doing at that moment before standing up straight as her tail swayed slowly
"Oh uh…..sorry they were really cool back in the day i heard. You guys were like the huntsman and huntresses you see on those posters. Why are you here the news said you were dead?"she asked as the silver eyed women thought for a moment signing
"I'll…explain another time because right now lets go enjoy dinner. Though um…you might want to keep that niece of yours close. Their might be people who are startled by her appearance"summer warned as mari held piper close as they stepped inside
Once they were inside everyone was already sitting done for dinner right now. As kali along with sienna made some dinner tonight with lisa help. Their dinner mainly consisted of some ham, a pot of soup in the middle. Their was also some sushi rolls with some porkchops in the mix as well. Along with a wide array of food as everyone was enjoying themselves right now. While they did sienna noticed them
"Their you all are i thought you'd be late for dinner. What were you all up too"Sienna said as they took their seats
"Nothing much just busy doing some stuff at the orphanage. Though walker your daughter brought a special guest"mari called out as the tiger was eating but glanced back before the warmest smile appeared on her face walking over hugging the fox
"Oh akata dear what brings you here? I haven't seen you in oh what was it…four weeks"nadia asked as the fox smiled
"That would be right i had to get my job done in mistral for my career. Though i see a few new faces and ones i haven't seen. Colt is that you?"she asked as the man smiled seeing her
"Heyya kid. You still continuing your little career path to support you and your griflriend here"colt said as akata grinned leaning against zoey as the two tails coiled around each other as she nuzzled against her
"I sure am though its great to see some new faces and old faces."akata said as they all sat done as blake ate her dinner for a moment glancing at her. She was a little surprised to hear she had a girlfriend she recalls her mother mentioning it before in the past. But it never really came to her.
"Yeah surprised to see you here fox tail…let me guess you and shorty over here gonna prank someone"yahot asked peeking some interest as ambroise chuckled taking a drink from his glass
"What this chick over here a trickster or something"he asked as akata grinned before suddenly pulling out a talisman like object then she slapped it on her body. Then suddenly a puff of snow appeared which confused them for a moment as it settled for a moment. Until suddenly standing right infront of them was a pure white arctic fox that peeked over the table.
Sun eyes widden slightly"uhhh what the heck she turned into a fox?!"he shouted as the arctic fox made a small noise before jumping around then got on one person head mainly being zoey. The fox sighed petting the fox on the head slightly
"Alright snowny….turn your dumb semblnace off because you share that with cousin over here"she said as the fox jumped off her head turning into a puff of snow as akata then took her seat.
"So that whats he meant by you two sharing a semblance. Pretty cool all i can do is….summon rocks or whatever if i touch the ground"Aruna replied eating her food as mainly her semblance known as geoforce. She can summon rocks from the ground by touching it but she has a tough time controling.
Though eventually as they began to eat nix glanced over at piper for a second then took a double take before jumping up reaching for her knives
"What the hell is one of those grimm freaks doing here?! Why haven't you killed it?!"nix shouted in fear as piper flinched covering her head shaking at that threat. Immedialty mari pulled her niece ove rholding her very close petting the back of her head glaring at her.
"Gah! What the heck is with her…seriously blake has a metal arm. And now i see some freaky looking grimm hybrid"sombra said in shock though soon enough summer stood up as she quickly grabbed nix by the arm and then disarmed her at that moment. Then flipped her onto her back onto the ground ina s wift motion placing her foot on her neck.
But the snowleopard looked shocked seeing her"now nix….i would suggest you steady your hand around the child. She doesn't mean any harm"she warned but both ambrosie and nix were in complete shock
"Okay we'll get to that but how the heck are you even alive right now? The news said you were dead in atlas?"ambrosie asked as nix grunted under the small women foot
"Seriously…i even heard from someone saying all they found was your arm…what the heck is going on here?"she asked as kali moved summer off the women helping nix up as she held her throat rubbing it for a moment. As katherine sighed forgetting to tell those two about her.
"Don't worry about little piper over here. Despite her appearance she quite docile shes been here for more over than two months now. She hasn;t harmed anyone since"She said as jazmine laughed slightly
"I mean duh shes a little kid what harm can one little kid do?"she asked as onxyia ate her food tapping her chin
"You know she can control uras right? And she has a semblance as well from what i heard…shes very loud for her age"onxyia said surprising them just a little for a moment. As nix stared down at the little girl for a moment sighing rubbing her throat
"Okay this isn't weird to see. Sure you will tell us at some point whats up with her. But seriously didn't the scar watts kid say that their were thirt-"she was stopped as piper gasped covering her neck beginning to shake at that very moment again with tears beignning to form right now which confused her.
Sombra looked confused"why…is she crying? What all she said was that guy on the new name or whatever. watts"She said again making piper start to cry at that moment balling up right now as mari looked worried pulling her over rubbing the back of her head gentle in a circular motion
As she shsuhed her"its alright he isn't here…hes not here to take you. Just calm down…think happy thoughts"she shushed and soothed but the little girl kept crying into her aunt chest in complete fear as nix flinched seeing that glancing at her teammate who shot a glare.
"We don't say his name around her nix. Seriously she gets terrified and then closes up when she hears it. That psychopath who did that to her should be punished"declan growled as kali sighed walking over before bending down to get near piper face.
"Sweetie look at this…"she said before she activated her semblance. As from her hands appearing from mid air was a shadow like creature but it seemed to resemble the form of a common black cat but with glowing yellow eyes with no pupils. The small shadow like cat leaped from her hands before going around piper who stopped crying for a moment then petted the cat.
She didn't feel any fur but the shadow like cat purred a little nuzzling against her calming her down a little as she laughed
"Shadow kitty"piper cheered as mari whipped the tears off her face nodding appeciraitng her doing this. As blake chuckled recalling that being her mom semblance which allows her to summon shadow like cat to aid her or claws if she recalls. Though eventually they got to eat for a while until at a certain point sombra glanced at the time
"Oh no i…i need to get going right now miss beatrix will be mad if i'm late for curfew"she said getting up but her mother stopped her
"Nonsense i'll explain to her tommorrow that we disucssed business or something and maybe donating more to her school. Since she sent me some mail saying your doing fantastic their"lisa said making sombra flinch slightly rubbing her arm as nadia narrowed her gaze a little
"I think she should get back as soon as possible because she may get in deep trouble."nadia supported
"Come on it'll be fine. Beside i havent seen one of my other best friends in three years we need to catch up"onxyia supported as reculatinly the sabertooth stayed which made nadia, colt and junior look very worried right now. They kept eating dinner for the night until eventually calling it a night.
As sombra walked back to the ship as it was a half hour past the time she was suppose to be back. Though as she walked through the ship toward her room she reached for her door to open it. Until someone cleared their throat behind her at that moment
"And where extalcty where you dear? Your a half hour late for curfew"carmel voice spoke up with beatrix right next to her as the cat froze up in fear staying silent
Beatrix found this annoying"well we don't have all day you better have a good excuse for disbeying the rules. Because i would hate to have to displicne you again"She said tapping her foot as sombra closed her eyes.
"I..i just wanted…to talk to mom and friends…is..is that much of a pro-"she was stopped as carmel slapped her hard against the face leaving a mark as she shook her hand
"It is…because we told you to be here at this time to disucss things. And you missed it and right now your going to be punished for it"she said before she grabbed the girl dragging her by the arm into a room as beatrix followed her in. as the two women closed it as they were going to discipline the girl for her misbehavior.
Although in the middle of the night right now all was quiet except for a small little house that is a bit away from walkers orphanage. That being a small house belonging to a specific bear faunus that being mari. The house had a light green paint job to it as the inside was pretty simple
Their was a living room set up with a cloth couch colored grey along with a small coffee table. Along with a chair with a small desk and lamp used for reading. Their was also a decently sized tv their along with several photos of the bear faunus sister and her family. Along with a very normal looking piper in some of them with her sister eden. Their was also a kitchen close by with most neccsiites needed to cook a nice meal.
But right now a certain silver eyed women was approaching a certain person room with her weapon in her hands. As summer carefully made her way into a room labeled"piper room"with flowers on the door that were pink. Slowly opening the door she peered into the room.
It was a simple little room that any little girl would have with a small bed for them to sleep in. along with several different toys and dolls strewn around the place. With some stuffed animals on the bed as well as a small lump was in the bed moving around. The women narrowed her eyes walking over as she slowly raised her sword placing a hand on the sheets
Though before she could do anything the racking of a shotgun could be heard turning around seeing mari their glaring at her.
"I knew it…i fucking knew it. Your here to kill my niece you deranged psycho. Step back because i'm going to call the others here. You'll be locked up for trying to kill my niece"mari warned getting closer as summer noticed her current predicament
"Look i…i just need to make sure she doesn't have it"summer said which made her look crazy
"It? What are you talking about what that dumb scar on her neck. Because are you worried that psycho put mental suggestion in my big sister daughter?"she asked with worry as her hands shook as summer slowly set her sword done to make her not look like a threat as she reached for piper sheet as mari pointed her shotgun at her head
"Don't you dare touch my niece. What are you exactly doing right now?"mari questioned demandily
Summer sighed looking down"look…i…i can explain but you need to calm down and–"She was stopped before piper shot up slightly screaming as it startled summer for a moment. But mari flipped the lights on to reveal her with very rapid breathing as tears streamed down her face. Mari knew what was happening right now.
"Oh no…sweetie please calm down…its okay i…get away from her now"mari said as summer was but sudddnely as she did piper lunged at her hugging her to the women confusion. But she could feel tears on her chest as the little girl hugged her for dear life. Gently placing a hand on her head she began to rub it.
"Its okay…no one here to hurt you…just be calm. Your safe"summer shushed the girl who kept crying her eyes out quietly as she eventually just passed out in a few minutes. As she did mari still held her shotgun out before summer held piper as she lifted her shirt up to mari confusion seeing just a plain looking back.
"Why are you lifting her shirt up?"mari qeustioned as summer sighed placing piper back in bed tucking her in before grabbing her weapon leaving the room relieved right now before eyeing the bear.
"Sit down and i'll explain"summer said as mari ehsianty did siting on the couch as she sat in the chair as the two sat in silence for a moment.
"Okay…do you mind explaining to me why you were about to stab my niece?"mari asked still anger as she sighed looking down regretting this
"I was checking her for a spine scar…more exlcusilvy a chimera grimm"summer answered which earned a shocked look from her staring at her.
"What…what are you talking about? Theirs been no grimm called that before…nadia son had that spine scar. But why does that matter?"mari asked as summer might regret this but she has the right to know
"That type of grimm is in everyone of the knights of grimm. Over my travels i have met several of them and they even tried to kill me. But that particualry grimm is a parasite…one of them known as epsilon or the wyvern knight. Her real name was dracona…she fought for control agains this parasite"She started as mari listened but her eyes slowly widden with every word.
"That grimm is implanted inside someone body and will hijack all their motor functions and brain functions. Because over my travels i've meet five of them who struggled for control to not attack me. Even a few were friends i knew…but the rest of them their deranged killers. The reason i wanted to stay with you is mainly to see if she had one. But she deosn;t"she continued before sighing at the next part
"But walker son did…that thing might have been in the process of controlling him. If hes dead…theirs no chance of him harming anyone now"she finished as mari processed this all but covered her mouth in complete shock starting to cry for her good friend
"Are…are you telling me my friends son was going to be controlled by some parasite. She needs to know the other they–"she was stopped
"No they shoudln't. I can see some of them care about that boy but telling them this now might just think of him as some monster. Let that women think of her son as himself….and she doesn't need more guilt. Alright"summer advised as mari thought for a moment as she didn't want her friend and boss to experience that heartbreak sighing nodding in agreement. Soon they returned to their rooms to get some much needed sleep for the night.
As morning came to the academy blake was the first to wake up as she and jazmine shared a room with each other. Though right now she sat up noticing one thing that was apparent the two still very much asleep. Mainly being a little pink and brown ball curled up near a certain panther faunus. As jazmine was curled up ontop of neo purring in her sleep. Blake internally laughed a little at the teen and her sister because it looked absolute cute right now as she glanced at her scroll
Blake sat up picking it up before taking a picture of the two laughing slightly to herself
"God this is priceless this is even worse than the bed incident back in beacon"she whispered to herself until someone snuck hup behind her
"What is this bed incident dear?"kali whsipered startling her eldest who yelped from her mother sneaking up behind her. As this started to make the two girls below them wake up at that moment.
Neo slowly stirred awake for a moment as her pink and brown eyes flutteered opened as her hair was slightly poofed up. While jazmine yawned before doing a cat stretched as she held someone in her arms for a moment but gathered her current situation before going flush at what she was seeing.
That being as she was beind held by neo right now as her face was very close to her bust. As the mute wore a simple white shirt and pink pants that presented her bust. As jazmine wore black shorts with a simple purple crop top
"Ummm i…oh no were going to be teased now….please end me"jazmine cired in embarrassment as neo noticed the current sitauton before the two separate blushing mad. While kali grinned at the two of them.
"So my little girl and you cuddled with each other. So…did you two give me grandkids now?"kali asked sweetly making the mute go bright red in embarrassment as jazmine ears flopped over growling as fur slowly covered her arms and she grew some whiskers on her face
"Tease me like that again mom and i swear to god i'll go all panther on you!"jazmine shouted as her mother just laughed
"Come on i'm just having fun teasing you. Because hurry up we need to have breakfast real quick because junior has a surprise for us. Since buckley and his crew assisted in the building efforts. This peeked their interest for a bit until they decided to get dressed. But as they did blake noticed neo with a slight upset look making her curious as she couldn't help but worry.
"Hey neo you doing alright over here? Are you dreading the fact that my mom will tease you?"blake asked as the mute paused for a moment shaking her head
"Nothing just…thinking about stuff is all…its nothing important"She quickly signed before the sister could ask her she bolted out of the room to change. As jazmine looked very concerned now.
"Okay i know we just started to date…i think. But thats just weird even for her…you think somethings up?"jazmine asked her sister who thought for a moment
"I don't know lets get dressed up and see what they have for that surprise"blake said as she nodded as they did just that along with having breakfast. Eventually their group with some others soon got to the main house with junior their waiting for them along with buckley as the blairs and nadia family was their along with their friends being their. As they were part way down the hill enough to not see the house.
"So whats this surprise exactly because we gotta give a dumb tour later. "Aruna said
But kali seemed rather excited right now"well i'm sures it something nice because i've missed living in my house. No offense miss vis but i'd like to not burden someone with our problems"She said but zoey shook her head
"Hey i was raised to do the right thing no matter who they are. Mom was a good teacher for life lessons and well fighting"zoey joked slightly as junior chuckled as they soon reached the top
"Well that favor you used walker was for a good cause since we fixed a few of the houses here as a downpayment. But here we are your home has been restored"he said presenting the mansion of the belladonna home as it looked brand new even. They were in awe of the sight a little right now.
"Oh wow….its actually fixed up. Man this is just amazing i thought it wouldnt be fixed for weeks"sun said amazed
"Your telling me because this looks like the same old house. "Colt said stepping in as the living room was the same but expanded upon slightly as some stairs where their with a tv their as well. Along with a small trunk in the corner of the room along with the floor being the same. But compared to the dinning hall it seemed to have got a slight upgrade as it had an expansion as well. Though their was also the fact it had some chairs close by with a small coffee table. Everything else in the house remained the same along with the game room they had in one part of the house. But kali was just happy to finally have her house back as she hugged junior
"Thank you for doing this . You may be a crook but it seems your a saint"she said happily as ghira chuckled
"Yes it is nice to have our home back. Though we must thank you for that nadia….you've done alot for our people right now for doing this. We should discuss after miss browning and her students leave for dinner tonight our next step"ghira said as the tiger nodded though junior eyed kali for a moment sighing
"Guess your gonna wanna show some of them what else you added to the place?"he asked peeking their interest right now
"Wait…did you have him add something sercreative to the house mom?"blake asked as her mother smiled
"I'll show you and we have time before the tour. Because i promise it'll be fun your all welcome to join but be prepared for a surprise"kali said as some of them deicced to join her on this so called surprise. As they wondered what type of remodeling this women had junior do to the house.
Summer revealed to mari why she was so weary of piper and begged her to not tell nadia which she agreed to. Though it seems beatrix is on the island with her school which worries neo and some others why their here. But the belladonna household is now fixed up!
