Chapter 46:Challenger
The skies where very quiet right now over the anima as deers got their drink from a nearby lake until suddenly several loud gunshots scared one as they ran off deeper into the woods to flee from it. Though all the way in the vallley right now a war was raging on bandits and protectors were squaring off for the battle of a lifetime. Because right now both sides were taking loses right now.
Though several bodies either layed dead on the ground or injuired with a few horses dead on the ground as well filled with holes by bandits providing cover fire from the wall. Along with weiss rushing forward diving from rock to rock to avoid being shot at not expecting for this to be part of her day. As falk joined her panting heavily from avoiding all that gunfire.
"Okay this is crazy because we seriously need to deal with those guys on the wall. "Falk stated
"I know…but how because it seems both sides are taking loses on each side right now"weiss replied as she fired a fire dust shot from her gunsword knocking a bandit back.
Vlad was close by as he dodged a couple bandits strikes as he elgnantly held his sword with one hand as he backhanded on bandits causing him to stumble. As a women tried to sneak up on him with a dagger but he expertly dodged her strike. Then he stabbed her in the leg immbolzie her as she cried in pain. While the other tried to stab him but vlad uppercutted him hard sending him to the ground as he joined them in cover.
"Do any of you have an idea? Because we need to clear out these bandits right now"Vlad suggested
That was when weiss thought of one thing to use before kneeling as she concentrated very hard as a different type of glyph was undenreath her. Then she placed her sword on the ground as the two understood what she was doing.
"Alright protect her because guessing she probably summoning a very big grimm"falk said as he dodged a bandit strike then he grabbed them by the wrist as he quickly snapped their wrist as they cried in pain. Then he began to provide covering fire shotting at nearby bandits who either got stunned by electricity dust shot or by shooting them in the arm or leg to stun them. Since some of them didn't have an aura it seems.
While this happened dravan was close by as he reeled his axe back swinging into some bandits launching them back. Then he concentrated his palm as he summoned a purple ball of energy as he threw it at the bandits. Before they even knew it it detonated on impact pulling about five of them into a large rock hard as they all slumped down groaning.
The jackal scoffed at them as he eyed one big brute who was squeezing the life out of a tribemember. But the brute eyed the jackal throwing the tribe member to the side deciding to deal with him.
"Little man your going to die for siding with that weak women"the brute said in cofndinece as dravan chuckle swinging his axe into the dirt bruying it, then he cracked his neck.
"She got alot more stones than your leader you gorilla"he taunted as the brute growled reeling his fist back to slamm him into a fine pace. But as he broguth them down as he was pretty slow dravan reeled his fist back upcutting the man below his jaw whipping his head back.
Before he could react dravan easily dragged him down to the ground as he reeled his head back headbutting him hard. Then he widned his fist up with a war cry as he socked the man hard acros the jaw cracking it sending him to the dirt. Vlad was busy dealing with another bandit huffing slightly.
"Impressive for my daughter husband, though i could have taken him easily"vlad said as the jackal joined them in protecting weiss right now as she was nearing the end of her summon soon.
"Alright old man though you two need some help protecting the heiress here?"he asked as tehy formed a defneisve permiteterd around her right now. although across the way right now another battle was going on that was more fierce.
That being the two leaders of the respective groups squairng off as vernal was firing several shots form her pistol toward raven who charged foward delfecting each shot back at her. As she had a wild look in her eye ready to deal some justice to this women. Raven lunged forward as the two blades started to clash with each other as people foguth around them.
"Well seems your going back to your oldself. Did i touch a nerve? Are you upset that i tortured that dam spawn of yours from your boytoy?"vernal tautned which made raven break their power struggled before sheathing omen a few times switching the color to fire dust.
Raven then laucnehd a stream of fire at her but vernal expertly dodged it then got in an offensive stance shifting her feet for a moment.
"Your going to pay for laying a hand on my daughter!"raven roared as her pink flame on her eye roared as she rushed forward as their blades clashed once again. This time sparks flew as the two kept swapping blows back toward the other taking good amounts of their aura away with every blow they delivere.
But raven focused on vernal for a moment as she rushed forward jumping forward to deliver a spin kick but raven dodged it before slashing as vernal back hard. This caused the women aura to drop a little but she growled scrapping her blades together ready to finish her adoptive sister off. That was when she began to fire a barrage of bullets at her as raven decideed to dive toward a rock as the bullet hit it.
Vernal stared at the rock as the sound of swords and gunfire could be heard all around them as she slowly approached it until from the side someone attacked her. As a familiar spear belonging to someone who was dead.
Mai lunged forward with her spear tiwlring it jjabbing it at the women who dodged it before reeling her fist back socking mai hard in the jaw.
"You know girl you would make a perfect killer….you could even be like your dead old mom."venral taunted as mai removed her hand revealing her with a bloodly lip as she growled at her.
"Don't talk about my mom! She isn't a killer she is a memebr of the brnawhen tribe"mai said in rage her name being said from her lips as vernal touched a nerve it seems.
"Aww are you mad that your dear old mom was turned into a monster. Because from what i heard she was the lancer knight"vernal stated readying her weapons to mai surrpsie she knew about that but readied her spear to strike as she lugned foward stirking at her but vernal quickly dodged her sloppy strike.
Then she whacked the back of her head with her weapon sending her to the ground hard as she had a bit of a blurry vision for a moment. She could hear ringing for a moment as she knew she activated her aura but guess she wasn't fast enough. Vernal walked forward grabbing her the hair pulling her up.
"You know girly i'm giving you one last chance to betray that women the same applies to some of you. Join the strong you'd make a great bandit"vernal offered a hand.
Mai stared at her hand before hocking back spitting in her face as a bit of blood was mixed in it. Vernal growled whiping it off as mai was a little fuzzy right now with that blow to her head.
"No way….i'm going to do what my mom would do…the right thing….long live qrow and raven branwhen. The true leaders not some urchin from the woos"mai taunted making anger boil as she reeled her fist back to attack her though from the side someone stop her as a pink flame shot back vernal far enough.
That flame belong to raven who had half of the spring maidens powers as she exhaled desummoning the power from within oping no one else saw. But she rushed over toward mai who was a little worse for wear.
"Are you alright can you continue to fight?"raven asked with worry as mai tried to stand up but failed.
"No…my head…she got me good….but i'm not going to let this stop me. I'm not going to lay down and die"mai said in confidence as raven chuckled at that annocuement.
"Your stubborn like your mother stick to the others. because…"Raven said eyeing something close by that being wiess who was finishing off her summon right now.
As from the glyph soon a large knight like figure stood proud and tall above the entire battlefield right now gathering the attention of the bandits right now and the tribewarriors. The arma gigas stared down at its foes as weiss panted slightly before pointing her gunsword forward at her targets.
"Deal with them please and please don't hit the ones on our side. Deal with the trash"Weiss ordered as the summoned arma gigas began to mop its way through the bandits by swinging its large sword into a crowd of them catching them offguard. Raven walked over with mai handing her off to them as some other tribe warriors joined them.
"Alright she hurt keep an eye on her for me alright. Rather not see her go"raven ordered as some tribe members formed a small protective barrier around her along with a few other hurt.
Vlad swung his sword into a bandit shattering their aura then he kicked them away looking at his leader.
"Raven we need to deal with those bandits on the wall somehow because their becoming an issue. Because sooner or later it might"vlad isnturected though falk glanced toward the camp with a confused look right now.
"Hey is it me or are those guy in the camp fighting something else inside their camp"falk pointed out as they quickly glanced at the wall seeing some fighting going on from inside the camp which caught them by surprise.
Draven chuckled"Well maybe it seem qrow started a little prison riot in that camp. Now we just gotta deal with vernal and her bandits and we can call it a day"he said as they all nodded at that beginning to continue the attack on the bandits.
Although early before the attack right now eria and comapny where in their cell right now discussing one thing. That being their plan on how to cause an uproar in the camp to escape from this place. But it was rather hard without their weapons since they were close enough but their were too many bandits to count.
"So any of you kids got a plan to bust us out of her or what? Because their are a bunch of a bandits here"bashira pointed out.
"Yeah we know that the only problem right now. Without weapons were not going to do much here"tock added
Eria cupped her chin thinking for a moment"well we could just try to distract or get the guard attention somehow. Maybe call them over saying one of us is sick"she suggested as it did sound possible.
"Maybe though…last time i did use my semblance to distract them though they kinda became wise to that now. "Emerald replied as that shot down a possible escape plan.
As they sat their for a bit eria was just a little curious about emerald why would she even care so much about amber to consider killing someone in her name. She still very mad that she would even consider dragging her sister along on some sort of murder quest right now. As she wanted to know.
"Hey sustari quick question for you while we take a mental break"eria codly said with venom.
Emerald sighed rubbing her eyes"we don't not have time to do this right now hayley. Because look i'm sorry alright. I'm sure your sister is alright with the others"she said trying to divert the topic but she wasn;t taking no as an answer.
"I don't think I will because for starters i'm wondering why you even dragged my sister on some murder quest"eria started pointing at her while she sat on the ground as emerald stared at her trying not to blow up.
"Stop it alright i'm sorry"emerald said again
"Oh your sorry that rich? Because my own sister might be dead because of you. I mean i understand you were very close to cinder but seriously. Are you that selfish to drag my own family to kill someone"Eria said grabbing a rock hucking it at emerald knee as it slightly bounced off her not even hurting.
"Kid stop trying to mess with her on this, we got other things to worry about other than your drama"tock warned trying to stop her but she ignored her as she had tears forming.
"My own sister might be dead because of you! Do you think cinder would like that your trying to kill someone in her name!"eria said poitning at her as emerald stood their absolute frozen still not wanting to talk and trying very hard to not lose her cool. Because she wasn't the one who suggested it.
"Princess ice queen chill out because seriously your going overboard right now. We.."bashira was stopped as she was shvoed back by the girl surprsignly.
"Shut up! I don't wanna hear anything from you either! Because all you've done is bad mouth my leader like everyone else!"she cried with tear starting to form before giving emerald an icy glare that pierced her very soul
"You two will burn in hell for foricng my sister to go kill people"eria codly said with hate as this just sent emerald over her breaking point at that very moment.
"I wasn;t the one that suggested we go and hunt them down! Your dam sister was the one who suggested we got out and kill people to avenge everyone we lost that day!"emerald shouted in rage with tears herself
This made eria flinch hearing that catching bahsria offguard hearing that recalling that because she assumed that girl was always happy from briefly meeting her. But this just broke eria hearing her own sister would suggest something so awful for the people they lost. Their friends, their leader and their sister figure as the two stared each other down
Before long eria began to hick and started to ball her knees up crying now hearing her own sister was the one who wanted to go out and kill people in the name of their friends. Because tanner would find that heartbreaking hearing she would do that, along with her leader probably scolding her for the few times he got serious.
Then pyrrha who would be very devastated she would try to kill someone in her name as the cold girl began to hick and sob into her knees. As emerald realzied what she said smacking her face.
"Crap…i um look eria i…um…you see…"She coudlnt' find the words as eria just ignored them at that moment. Tock sighed grabbing the girl making her look up with teary eyes at that moment right now. They kept streaming as she whipped them off her cheek that moment
"Kid look i need you to calm down. I don't really have any sibling but i'm sure that would be very hurtful to hear"tock slowly talked as eria sniffed with an upset look.
"No…my…my own sister was the one to suggest it….i should have watch her better. I..i.i'm a terrible leader. My own sister is dead now…along with my parnter…i'm all that left"eria cried heavily right now contosuily sobbing at that moment as the gator faunus sighed before embracing the girl stroking the back of her head gentle rubbing it as eria leaned into it sobbing still as she soothed the girl.
"Take it easy kid i know its hurt buts things will get better i'm sure of it. Breath in"tock advisted as eria did that slowly choking on a few tears.
"Okay again and do it slowly this time"she added as eria took a deep breath in slowly then ehxaled as she repeated this a few times to control her emotions. But just balled up at that point as eria stared at emerald who had a hurt look even uttering those words.
Eria swallowed before deciding to ask something"why would you even wanna kill someone for cinder and amber? Why didn't you stop my siter"she asked teary eyed still as the mint haired girl sigh sitting down collapsing her hands together.
"It was a very long time ago back when i lost my parents. I was in vacuo in the time until i was scooped up by her and amber one day."emerald said beginning her tale on how she ended up meeting the two fall maidens from long ago.
six years ago
It was six years ago as in the cotneint of vacuo right now mainly being the capital mainly as everyone was minding their business right now. As they did their best to survive as people roamed the streets trying to avoid the local cultist known a sthe unseen eyes annoying perching. Although right now their was a younge emerald who was around ten yers old.
Right now she was wearing a tan sleeveless top with mint green shorts. She had a small pouch on her hip that possible contained her things. Along with that a small little crudely made sack on her back that looked rather worn. But right now she was doing her best to do one thing avoid any unwanted attention.
Because about a few months ago she lost both her parents to a bandit attack as she luckily got away thanks to her father holding them off. But she missed both of them deeply right now because she was so hunger right now. As she held her stomach as it loudly grumbled.
The younger emerald whined in pain"i miss mommy and daddy…why did those mean men have to take them away"she cried slightly continuing to walk through the streets for a bit. While she did a few people eyed the girl close by being a women with two men as the women had a wicked grin.
"Well seems like their a lost lamp here in the city. Do you think we should take her in?"the women asked as the two men eyed her for a moment.
"You think that girl would be worthy to join our cause. Because all i see is a weak little girl that will prove nothing"the man replied as the women had a wicked grin still on her face.
"Then we take her in for our speaker, if she can not pass the trails then we offer her up to the all seeing one. "The women said as these three were members of the unseen eye cult as they decided to follow the younger emerald.
As she was doing one thing that being pickpocketing mainly since she unlocked her semblance recently. She didn;t know much about it but figured out it can make people see things she wants them to see. But it hurts her head alot using it for a very long time sometimes.
But right now she was choosing her targets as she mainly eyed one person that being someone in a cloak right now. The little girl thought she was easy pickening as she shuffled her way through the crowd slightly bumping into some people as she bumped into a very large man who stared her down.
He was wearing some blue jeans along with a tan tanktop along with that wearing some black glvoes on his wrist.
The young emerald bowed sllgihtly"sorry mister i didn't see you their"She apolgized as the large man chuckled before patting her head.
"Your alright kiddio watch where your going. Though where are your parents?"he asked very concerned seeing none in sight as emerald was about to answer until someone spoke up.
"Oh their you are my munchkin i was wondering where you angered off to. Your father and brother were getting worried sick where you went"the women and the two men approached her as emerald eyed them because they were not her parents.
The large man eyed them down heisantly"are you sure because no offense i don't think you are. You don't look like her at all"he argued as he began to move her behind him as one of the men stepped forward.
"Sir that is my little sister because she just loves to run off. She adopted though i still love her like my own"he said kneeling down getting on her level offering a hand to her.
"Come along now dear little sister and join your family"he asked nicly but actually ordered as the younger emerald hide behind the man for dear life now that she never meant.
"No…you aren't my mommy and daddy….your strangers"emerald argued as the three cultist were getting rathered annoyed as was the man who eyed them down.
"Well if this little girl doesn't know you i suggest you three back now or you deal with me"the man warned smacking his fist together at that moment. Then one of the cultist slowly reached behind their wasit for a dagger as the women was reaching for a revolver she hide behind her back.
As the other man stepped forward grabbing emerald forcefully grabbed her by the wrist hard as she wicked in pain.
"She just being a baby because we refused to buy her ice cream. Come along now dear we rather not get in you trouble"he said as emerald kept fighting back with all her might at that very moment refusing to even be taken by these strange people.
That was when the man got invovled shoving the man away then reeled his fist back punching him hard in the jaw as he cried in pain. Then he removed his hand revealing his nose was gushing blood.
The man growled in rage grabbing a pistol pointing it at him"You dam vermin! Who do you think you are to interfere with our work!"he shouted in rage as soon from the side someone spoke up close by that being the women in the cloak early. With another person right next to in a similar cloak.
"Colt…what the hell is going on over here because right now…i'm very busy."the women said with a slightly hroased voice as this was a younger colt lawson who huffed.
"These cutlist are trying to take this little girl. Saying their with her, find that hard to believe you psycho usually take kids off the streets thinking their easy prey"colt said smacking his fist together then used his kncukkles to crack his neck.
The women cutlass scoffed pulling revolver out then fired a shot off causing the crowd to scatter at that moment as several people were screaming trying to get away from the fighting. As the cultist then aimed exclsuvily at the women who stood their as her cloaked blowed in the winds.
"Step away you vermin because were taking that little girl no matter what. "The women said before eyeing the girl next to the claoekd women.
"Maybe even her as well after we kill you t–"she was stoped as from the women claok she pulled out a spear like staff as she jabbed at her sending her back a bit. That was when he hood fell off to reveal it being amber who had some puffy eyes for some reason.
The other two cultist lunged forward as one tried to stab colt with their dagger but he got in a boxing stance doging it. Then he reeled his fist back delvieirng a righthook to the side of their skull as his fist connected with the entire side of their skull. This caused them to be easily knocked down for the count.
Then the second male cultist shot at him as his aura shimmered a little from it. But the giant wasn;t really phazed as he placed his hand atop his head as the cultis struggled to break free at that moment.
"Let me go you vile pest! Or the all seeing one will have you head for this"he demanded as the boxer sighed before kissing his fist then punched the man hard with a loud crack being heard sending him to the dirt. As he dislocated his jaw as the man groaned in pain on the ground.
With amber she tiwlred her spear knocking back the female cultist close to someone that being the younger emerald who stood frozen in fear. Before she knew it she was sntached up as a cold metal barrel was placed next to her head at that moment.
"Nobdoy move or i'll shoot this little brat where she stands!"she shouted making the two freeze at that moment putting their hands up as just arriving where a few of the local miltia in the city. Though they all stopped assessing the current situation themselves.
"Put the little girl down right now, you are surrounded and their no where to go"a miltia ordered
The women scoffed"no…no i don't think so because your all stopping our goddess rightrious message from being spread. You all will pay for that insolent demon that killed our priot speaker"she said sounding crazy now as all of them looked rather annoyed.
Amber scoffed stepping forward putting her hands up"drop her right now you deranged lunatic. Because your done for all you'll be worshiping now is your god in a cold dark jail cell"She demanded with venom but she wasn't bduging as the young emerald looked very scared.
That was when suddenly the cultist stared down confused seeing that she was holding nothing in her arms catching her offguard.
"What the…where the hell did she go?!"she shouted confusing them because they all could see the little girl in her arms still but the cultist undid her hold confused as emerald fell to the ground kicking dirt up. But this deactivated her semblance to the cultist shock and rage as she growled.
"You little brat die!"she shouted aiming her revolver at her head but as the shot went off the women was knocked to the ground by amber. As she restrained her before letting the miltia take over.
After that little incident they rounded up those cultist as they were questioning the four right now. As emerald sat on a bench nerovusly right now wondering if they'll put her in one of those homes. Because then she might have a family who will treat her like garbage.
"So sir from what i gathered this little girl over here bumped into you. And those three psycho claimed to be her parents"an officer asked
Colt nodded"that seems the gist of it though…"he paused before getting down to her level as her red eyes met with his eyes.
"Where are your parents sweetie i'm sure their worried sick right now"he added softly as emerald got a candy bar from one of the milita when the office arrived as she stared at the ground.
"I don't know…some mean men came and took them…but i;m fine by myself"emerald sweetly said as the officer didn't like the sound of gently taking her hand.
"Well we aint having that come along now dear. We'll get you somewhere safe and find you a loving family to take you in"the officer said beginning to take her away but she began to fight back not wanting to go trying to break his grip on her wrist that wasn't that tight. But she wasn't that strong either.
"No! I don't want to live in a home! I don't want a mean family!"Emerald demanded with tears as the officer tried his best to be patient with her but was reaching his limits even.
The officer grutned"Sweetie come on it'll be fine. We can get you some cleaner clothes along with some food. I'm sure you'd like the sound of that"he said grunting again as she held a nearby bench with one hand refusing to let go at that very moment. Until suddenly someone spoke up.
"Hold on officer look i can take her in. i'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem will it"amber offered to some surprise as the officer eyed her for a bit sighing letting emerald go as she hugged the bench still.
"Lady that might be fine but you'll need to fill her paperwork out to do that. We can go down to the station to do that. But it'll…"he was stopped
"It no problem i ran an orphanage in town here. But I have some paper work on hand if you want to see for yourself. It'll save you alot of trouble and work"Amber said pulling out of her pack revealing some papers as the officer skimmed it for a bit nodding in approval.;
"Alright this seems legit, you folks have a good day right now and well do our best to keep these psycho off the streets"he said walking off as they left them as colt eyed the women for a minue.
"So your taking another kid in for your orphanage. Though why you packed up, you seen that girlfriend of yours yet?"colt asked as amber looked down upset sighing.
"I um did…though i'm very busy right now. Though sweetie are you sure you don't have anyone else. Because i can drop you off somewhere and.."she was stopped
"No i wanna go with you…you seem nice"emerald innocently said making the two heart melt a little as the cloaked girl tugged on the women cloak.
Amber glanced at her"yes cinder what do you need?"she asked removing the hood to reveal a younger cinder fall next to her mother.
"Mom is she coming with us on our adventure?"she inncontly asked as amber thought for a moment before sighing then nudging her daughter forward.
"Sure why don't you introduce yourself. Maybe you can become best friends even"amber said as the two young girl stared at each other as cinder offered a hand as the younger emerald took it.
"I'm cinder fall…who are you?"Cinder asked as the young red eyed girl thought for a moment.
"I'm emerald s…s..susatari…nice to meet you"she introduced herself which might have started a very lifelong friendship. But also something that might end in tragedy with the lost of the two.
Presnt
As emerald finished her story she had some tears for a moment whipping them away at that moment. This surprised them for a moment but it surprised eria the most hearing that right now. Understanding now why she would have so much rage directed toward one person who took a friend and mother figure away it seems.
"That why…i want to kill bonnie and the rest of those psychos. They took two people that looked after me like i was like their own family"Emerald said with an upset look.
Bashira rubbed her neck"thats some heavy stuff…taking a guess you guys travled with each other before she died"She asked as she nodded
"We did eventually i met merc at one point who joined our little group. Then after that bandits attacked us as amber scafied herself saving cinder from one of them trying to shoot her."emrald finsihed as they sat in compelte silence as eira sighed heavily rubbing the tears from her eyes.
"Look…i..um…i'm sorry for–"She was stopped
"Don't be i get it your pissed. But lets hope if blondie is still out their somewhere that she doens't find out. Because if she does it'll be my head on a stick"emerald said
As they stayed silent for a bit until the sound of loud gunfire rang out through the camp along with the sound of a battle going on outside of their cell. Bashira rushed up seeing several bandits rushing by them rushing toward the front gate beginning to fire down on someone it seems.
"So it seems that someone is here and the entire camp is in a mass panic"bashira said to them surprising them.
"Wait what?"tock asked getting up surprised seeing what was happening.
"I can't believe it maybe the tribe finally found the camp and their attacking the base. Which means we might actually be saved"tock said overjoyed right now which meant they needed to entact their plan right now.
"Okay we need to do something about this right now anyone got a plan?"emerald asked as eria sat their for a moment before one came to her as she grinned a little.
"I have a suggestion and it requires for all those comments you said about my leader"eria said as bahsira wondered what crazy scheme she was going to involve her in right now as she explained her plan.
About maybe ten minutes of fighting going on two guards where close by guarding the cells close by. That was when bashira groaned at what she was told to do as she didn't want to alert the others. But she needed to gain their attention as she really didn't like the idea eria came up with as she unzipped her vest slightly to show off her clevage.
Then she decided to crying in pain at that moment as she rushed over to the exit of the cell holding the bars.
HEY! PLEASE I NEED SOME HELP!"bashira called out catching the two bandits attention at that moment.
"Whats wrong you dam slave because were in the middle of something right now!"the guard said
"I..i don't feel good. I feel hot all over. I think i'm experiencing something could you two help me"bahsira cired hoping they would not shoot her. Though the two guards simply looked at each other before looking at bashira or more like her chest region as they gave each other a silent wink at one another. They lowered their rifles and proceed to unlcok the cell pulling her out only guiding her as the sound of fighting could be heard behind them. With them wrapping their arms around her shoulder but she could've sworn both of them groped her.
"Then lets get you somewhere safe while the boss teaches these traditors a lesson"he said
"Oh thank you both"she said sweetly trying to ignore the hand on her breast. Though as they got ear enough from the camp where the guard station was as all the bandits where very busy right now. As she did she passed by zaff cell as his son was in one next to him. The girl passed him as they eyed each other as she winked to him making him eye her with a hopeful look. Though soon they reached the station
"Here we a little bit of privacy miss to help you out"one guard in the process of unizzping his pants
"Oh really well you both earned a reward"she sweetly said ignoring the other trying to sneak their hand into her shirt. Though what they didn't expect was her to in a swift motion kick one guard in the nuts making him keel over. Then she elbowed the other before bashing his head into a nearby wall knocking him out. Bashira then kicked the other before zipping her vest up to cover her chest before glaring at the two unconscious bandits.
"Fricking pervets"bashira said rushing over grabbing the keys then began to try a few until unlocking zaff cell. Then unlocked the kid cell as the large man walked over overjoyed holding his son right with tears.
"Papa"the boy cired as zaff held him close.
"Ceilo your safe my son…thank you so much"zaff thanked as bashira she quickly rushed into the large tent where her and the other weapons where. As she qucikly walked out but handed zaff the keys as he began to unlock several of the other cells that had prisoners in them quickly with his son hiding somewhere else.
Once bahsira rushed over she had her sword on her hip already while carrying a pair of cutlass swords and for some reason in tock possession a large stopwatch. Along with most of the guards being distracted she opened the cage with a smirk.
"Plan work princess ice queen, though you suck for making me do that"bashira said as she walked down with eria prohtseitc leg placing it on her as she had both feet.
"It worked didn't it? Because these morons were so gullible to fall for something like that. Beside you had the curves to pull it off"she codly replied which confused her if she was teasing her.
"Alright enough joking get this dam muzzle off my face"tock begged pretty much
Bashira pulled out a key before placing it on the muzzle unlocking it as it fell off tock face as the gator chomped down with her metal teeth for a moment. Then she grabbed her cutlass along with the stop watch as all of them got their repscitve weapon getting armed.
"Whats with the giant stop watch?"emerald questioned as finally some bandits noticed their prisoner starting to escape.
"Prisoner are escaping everyone we need help rounding them up before the boss figures out!"a bandit ordered as tock grinned before pressing down on the stopwatch as a sixty second timer went off. Then she activated her semblance that gave her temporary invicibility but only for sixty seconds.
The gator lunged forward as she quickly stirked the two bandits attacking them as she delivered an uwpard slash at one stumbling then. After that she reeled her head back after doging one of their strike then she head butted them back busting their nose.
Before the bandit knew it she punched him in the face to the ground then spin kicked the other to the ground. Then she stared at the others along with whos behind them that being a few of the captives armed with weapons from the armory.
"Alright you all lets show these bandits what happens if they mess with us. Then were all home free!"tock said as they all gave a war cry before charing into battle with each other as the bandits were not dealing with an insdie threat inside their camp which might cause trouble.
However right now raven and vernal where locked in a power struggled right now as the two were facing each other off yet again. While weiss summoned arma gigas was moping through the bandits in the area at that moment. With dravan joining in as he was laughing tossing bandits left to right with a bright smile on his face.
Because they were winning right now with whoever was causing a ruckus inside the camp.
"Alright we should be good because were pushing these guys back"falk said as he knocked another bandit to the ground.
"Yeah but…i;m getting very exhausted right now with all this fighting"Weiss admitedd panting heavily right now from all this fighting summoning a glyph launching another bandit back to the ground.
Raven though was still in a power lock growling vernal as the two soon broke free as she slid in the ground kicking some dirt up but dug her blade into the ground stopping herself. As vernal kneeled for a moment then had a smirk.
"Your weak rae….i heard from someone…you hesitated to kill a grimm knight. Whats wrong…you siding with monster now?"vernal taunted as raven growled in rage.
"That women was melissa! Sorry that i find it very hard to kill someone i've known my entire life!"raven roared in rage redy to strike her down until from the skies several flares went off catching all of their attention as the arma gigas summon was stopped. Weiss panted looking toward the source of the flares before swallowing going teary eyed who she was seeing on a nearby cliff hill.
That being yang holding a flare in hand with something strapped to her back as by her side was lazuli, adam and jay. Raven looked shocked before a warm smile came to her face at that moment as vernal eyed her so called niece down.
"She…she…she alive…their alive"weiss cried in joy as falk noticed them with tears starting to flow. As if their entrance made the fighting stop yang and company slide down the hill as jay stumbled a little but some tribe members rushed over taking him.
"What the hell…i…i thought you were dead blondie"shay said as the blonde glared at him.
"Shut up because guess what i call for an agna kai!"yang shouted out which made vernal pause a moment lowering her weapons as raven was caught offguard by that.
"You sure you wanna do that kid? Because the only one that can call that are tribe leaders or people who proved themselves"vernal smugly asked as raven had so many emotions but had a bit of worry.
"Yang if your declaring that i can handle that…we can talk later"she argued but yang reached behind before pulling out the skull of the wendgio presenting it making all the tribe members and bandits stand in complete shock and awe.
"I just killed the wendigo so yeah i think i've proven myself auntie"yang smugly said as vernal was in utter shock as raven smirk at hearing this.
"So dear sister…will you accept the challenge or are you too scared of a teenage girl taking you on"raven mockignly aksed as vernal glared at her.
"Fine i agree on that but don't expect your daughter to come out of this in one piece"vernal smirekd as they all began to prepare for the fight as weiss and yang stared at each other before the two embraced each other with tears running down their faces.
"I've missed you so much"weiss cried in joy as her tail wagged around as yang chuckled.
"I did too though…"she paused seeing her teammate with a tail catching her by surprise.
"Why do you have a tail? Are you dressing up as a faunus or did you lose a bet"she added cheekly as weiss huffed crossing her arms as her tail swayed.
"No but…i'm sure the others are close behind you"wiess said as yang had to explain that to them later.
"They might though hey mom guess who just slew a two hundred year old grimm"yang said still presenting the wendigo skull as raven just chuckled walking over embracing her daughter close with a warm smile.
"I'm happy your safe, but i'm very worried about what you just declared. But if you can handle fighting that thing vernal should be easy. Don't hold back because she scratched your bike"raven replied making yang eyes flick red eyeing vernal as the two faced each other.
"Don't expect me to go easy on you. I'll make this quick so you won't feel a thing."vernal stated as she readied her pistol. Yang got into a fighting stance prepared to fight for not only herself but for her friends, family and her tribe so they couldn't waste anymore time.
Seems that yang has chanleenged her so called aunt to a dual for the tribe war to be settled. Along with that a bit of emerald backstory on how her and cinder met long ago. Thanks for reading!
