Chapter 54:Bearnapped
It was still a quiet night on the island of menagerie right now as nothing stirred around the ship near the shore that was docked right now. No one expect right now in one of the luery rooms that beatrix had rented as most of the girls were in their that she had trusted. But right now the women was pacing around like crazy right now rubbing her face
As carmel looked very annoyed herself right now after the revelation she just got today that her daughter was actually alive right now.
"So this just dampens our plans right now. We managed to successful fool them to trust us. But nows its just completely ruined because of xiong. I'm even more surprised to see your daughter here"beatrix said baffled still
Carmel sighed"well i'm happy to finally found her after she was apparently reported dead. But it must have been those goons that snatched her away. Seriously associaitng herself with faunus filth like that disgusitng"She said as mavis simply laughed at that making beatrix look at her for a moment
"Something funny ?"She asked as mavis froze up slightly at that looking down clearing her throat
"I'm sorry miss browning. Its just well…i very much dispease this entire island right now. Mainly because my father was slain here by those white fang terrorist. The headmsitress walked over eyeing the eight girls out of the fourteen in their midst right now mainly because five of them weren;t allowed in here. "That sound like an excellent idea dear. But we need to distract them since i noticed they might be increasing their security with the spat we had at dinner"beatirx said as mavis and some girls stepped foward as she snapped her fingers then eyed a few of them for a moment.
"I want some of you to keep an eye on some of them and wait till the time is right. From what i've gathered that wolf girl is apart of that team with the freak that started the fall. I'm sure and the talon have a bounty on her head. Capture her as well if you can"beatrix said as the five girls and mavis bowed to her.
Though what they didn't know that eavesdropping on them right no was sombra along with another girl. Who wore the same uniform but had pale skin along with that she copper brown hair as her eyes were iliac colored. Along with that she had some freckles on her cheeks as she seemed to be about fourteen
"Oh no…their going after your freinds. We…we need to warn them"She said as sombr assigned rubbing her forearm
"I know we do autumn the quicker we leave. Maybe me you and the other three can warn them before they figure out where gone. Maybe even warn the ship captain"sombra said as the young girl known as autumn nodded
"Right lets…"She was stopped mid setencen before someone tackled her to the ground as sombra was caught offguard by that. As one of the other girls placed their knee on top of her as sombra growled ready to fight until suddenly the door opened as carmel stood in the doorway looking at her as the faunus froze up in fear
"Now dear….your breaking your curfew. And you can't be telling secret to the our enemies now can you. Grab her"She ordered as two of the girl rushed out and quickly grabbed the sabertooht faunus by the arms holding her in place as beatrix stepped out before grabbing sombra by the chin forcing her to face her.
"Now…now miss taupe i keep telling you need to stop misbehaving. For three years you've been at our academy and you think your little rebel outburst helps anyone. They don;t"beatrix said
"She right now your going to be a good girl and keep your mouth shut or else we'll…"Carmel was stopped as sombra bit hard on beatrix hand making her let go drawing a bit of blood as the older women back handed her across the face making her head whip.
"Screw you! I'm sick of this shit and i know a bunch of other people are too! I don't wanna be here anymore…i want to go home…your a real bitch"she growled back as beatrix looked toward mavis and the some of the girls sighing.
"mavis dear take her to where the other three are. Teach them a lesson that if they even leave their room tomorrow before we leave tomorrow night. One of the three girls looked startled seeing them"ummm what are you guys doing with autumn and sombra?"she asked scared now as one of them glared slightly.

You five are going to keep your mouths shut or else"one of them warned but one of the girl wasn't phazed glaring at them slowly reaching for a pistol close by on one of their dressors. But mavis noticed this before pulling out a throwing knife from her dress throwing it into the girl arm going through her aura
The girl cried in pain holding her arm as blood slowly seeped out of it as she chuckled"anti aura metal…i only carry one of those on me. Give it here"she ordered as the girl removed it throwing it as her feet as she whipped the blood off with a cloth as one of the other three helped treat her arm.
Though soon the other girl were now as two of them held sombra up by her armsa dn legs so she couldn't get away. Along with one of them easily holding autumn who was a smaller girl and very skinny for her age. As mavis began to pace around the two eyeing autumn first.
"Beat up her first then we move on to taupe over here"mavis said as two of the girls stepped forward as one prepared to hit the poor girl but sombra spoke up.
"Hey you bitches that scared of me! Because i whooped all of your butts back at that stupid acadmey like nothing. My dad taught me how to kick ass and take names. You scared i could beat you up even like this"she taunted hoping to dissuade them from attacking them as mavis eyed the sabertooht faunus scoffing.
"You know i'm getting qutie sick of your dam annoying behavior. I even covered for your previous idiocy as a sign of good faith"mavis said before grabbing her by the chin making her face her.
"I suggest you keep quiet i may be nice and let them take it easy–"she was stopped as sombra headbutted her making mavis stumble as she held her nose as it dripped blood a little

"Now you gonna keep blabbering because…i know you know that freak of a faunus. Tell me how to get to her?"mavis demanded as sombra spat out bood from her mouth

mavis then brought the anit aura knife grasping her tail"now your going to tell me where that girl is? You must know something. Tell me and i won't remove such a beautiful tail"she said placing the knife near the base of her tail as sombra struggled in their grips.

"Okay i don;t know where that little girl lives! But i um…i know my best friend uh…dated that grimm hybrid guy along with a rabbit faunus named velvet scarltina"sombra said with tears for a moment peeking mavis interest stopping slightly as she cotninued
"But i don't know if you even get close to them! Seriously uncle declan and his team are here! And believe me their tough to fight"she said with tears as it satifieesd mavis who removed the blades as the other dragged sombra to a nearby bed tossing her onto it as she coughed blood up slightly.

"Where are you swirl"She grogigly said sitting up using her nightvsion that thanfkully was very useful right now. As she quickly found neo in one part of the room right now mainly being the bathroom was open. But she could hear someone crying in their.
Getting out of bed she walked over to the bathroom flipping the light on to find neo in the bathtub. She had one since she sometimes had a hard time cleaning her metal plate their and asked for one. The mute slowly looked up at the cat with very red eyes along with tears cosntiosunly streaming down her face
"Heyya swirl you doing okay over here right now?"jazmine said before joining her in the tub as neo balled up her knees hugging them close. The mute was about to nod her head yes but shook it several times no
Jazmine sighed"let me guess that your pretty hurt having to deal with your…pardon my friend bitch of a mom"she said but neo giggled a little shaking her head
"You don't have to apolgize for that…she is a real bitch"she signed as jazmine giggled a little at that sighing as she sat their trying to figure out how to comfort her. They just started going out but she wants to be their for her because she might do the same for her.
"Look swirl…i know your very emotional right now after last night. But look everyone here won't let them take you away. Because that women seems like a terrible parents compared to your dad i'm sure"She reassured as the mute appreciated it
Because her dad was just some common crook at times but he did so much for her lazuli and vance. She was so happy to have someone who appreciated her for who she was letting her choose her own path in life. But hes gone now and she doesn't even know where her siblings are.
From whats she heard her sister apparently is going around trying to find team BRAS or watts. She evasdropps on her aunt and him talking one time as he explained to her where she was and last saw her. Which hurt her and hearing that her own brother is starting fights over their dead cousin. She missed him deeply right now but also is very worried for her cousin and aunt.
After some time neo decided to tap jazmine on the shoulder before signing something to her.
"Do you wanna hear how my dad found me?"neo signed as jazmine was startled by that as she thought for a moment before placing a hand over the mutes on her lap.
"I'd love to maybe text it though your hands might get tired waving them around"jazmine suggested as neo nodded grabbing her scroll beginning to text away on it showing jazmine occasionally on how she met her new family. The best thing to ever happen to her in life
Eleven years ago
It was eleven years ago in the cotneint of vale right now as it was a very important day. Mainly being that is was snowing like a storm right now it was december in the once proud city that fell long ago. Though everyone in the street were doing their very best to try and stay warm right now. All of them spending times with their families right now trying to stave off the cold right now.
Though right now wandering the streets right now was a very young neo who was just trying to survive the cold right now. Mainly because for two weeks she think she been out in the cold all by herself. For some reason her mother and father sent her in a car for some reason with the family butler. But she saw her mother hand him a large stack of papers.
Then he drove her into the city telling her that she going on a trip. Though once they got to a small little courtyard as he took her by the hand. He just dropped her off then and their next thing she knows he tell her to wait their for her parents. But she was still in her pajamas at that time along with a small winter coat and stuffed uras plushie in her arms.
The girl just kept waiting and waiting till it got too cold as she tried to find her way back. But she didn't know where her house was since it was so hard to navigate the city in the current weather codnitions. But what she didn't expect was that everytime she tried to ask someone for help they brushed her off telling her to scram.
But right now the little girl was just trudging through the thick snow in a pair of dirty pajams and slippers. Along with that she had on a dirty looking blanket with an old wool hat she got from a nice man who said she needed it. Though he soon went to sleep from the cold, as she kept walking around soon enough she saw the light from a nearby window.
The younger neo peeked inside to see alot of people in a restaurant right now enjoying themselves. But she eyed one thing mainly being the food they were all eating as her stomach rumbled a little as she held it in pain for a moment
As she stared inside seeing the delicious food drooling a little until a bell rang close by as the manger stepped outside
"Beat it you dam waste of space. Get the hell away from my restaurant or i'll call the cops on you"the manager warned earning an upset look from her as she shuffled over trying to get inside.
But the man pushed her down into the ground as she yelped slightly rubbing her arm that hurt a little right now from that. The man hocked back spitting in her face as he glared
"We don't do charty work for you dam gutter trash. Get out of here and head to those crappy apartments. Go live with the other gutter trash you mistake"the manger said slamming the door shut on her as neo stood their beginning to go into a small coughing fit for a moment
Glancing toward where he pointed she saw a building in the distance as she slowly made her way over. But as she did a very cold wind blew through the air as she shivered from it as she saw a nearby alleway. Shuffling slowly over she just sat in the alleyway right now as she just layed on the very cold ground hugging herself beginning go into a coughing fit wheezing at that moment.
As she did soon enough the sound of a door could be heard being open though she started to black out before a man with bright orange hair and a white coat saw her.
"Oh my….god dammit walker we gotta head to the hopsital right now!"a male voice called out before rushing off with her as she blacked ou.
Eventually she awoke again but looked very confused seeing she was inside in some hospital room. As she saw herself in a set of very clean clothes mainly being a very warm sweater and pants with a thick sheet over her. But she still coughed a little as it hurt right now.
"Heyya kiddio your awake? You doing okay over here?"a person asked. Looking around toward a nearby chair she noticed there was a man with bright orange hair and a white coat. But she jsut stared at him which made him look at her weird.
"Well this isn't weird though my name is roman torchwich. Whats you name sweetie?"roman asked as neo stared at him blinking again to his confusion
"Okay kiddio if your throat that messed up from being out in the snow. Don't talk let go grab the doctor here"romna said though soon enough a nurse walked in with a tray seeing the two.
"Oh shes awake. Hello sweetie i know your very confused where you are but don't worry your somewhere safe right now. This man here found you outside in the cold"she said before placing a tray infront of her mainly being a bowl of steaming hot porridge and some sweet tea that was steaming. Along with some toast with butter of course as the young girl drooled a little seeing that as her stomach rumbled loudly as she held it in pain
Roman noticed this before grabbing a spoonful of porridge offering it to her"here kiddio your still a little frostbitten from the cold. Eat up"he said as she eyed it for a moment before taking it and swallowing it feeling alot of relief as the girl began to have tears well up as he kept spoon feeding her.
After a bit of time he stopped as she looked relieved as the nurse gesuted for her to move as she shyly did. As she rearranged a heating pad underneath her as she layed back down.
"Alright now thats done we have a couple questions dear. Whats your name?"the nurse asked as neo didn't asnwer again
"So doc mind telling me whats with this kid i found? Because she keeps staring at me"roman asked before the mute pointed to her throat to his confusion
"What your throat sore or something?"he asked as the nurse snapped her fingers
"Sir her voicebox might have not developed when she was born. "She stated as the man looked surprised before grabbing a nearby pad and paper handing it to her gesturing for her to write. The girl did the best she could and presented surprisingly cursive writing and her name.
"Neopolitan…well its nice to meet you sweetie. Nice penmanship you got their your ma and dad teach you"roman asked as neo stared at him with an anger expression but was on the verge of tears which he noticed gesutring for the nurse to leave. As he gently turned her to face him as he had a serious look
"What happened to your parents? Why were you out in the snow?"he asked firmly as the young mute looked down writing slowly fighting the tears as it dripped onto the pad. Until eventually she finished it as he read it.
"Momma and daddy told the man in the suit to take me away their were alot of papers in his hands. He dropped me off and i ovehreard them say one time they didn't want me anymore that i was a mistake"he started pausing clenching the pad in hand continuing
"I don't want to go back with them….i don't want to go back in the cold again. Why did you help me?"he finished as the mute stared at him with tears slipping away as he whipped them away in an instant chuckling petting her head
"For starters i don't like bad parents and you needed help. But don't worry your not going back to them."roman said to her confusion as tears still streamed down her cheeks as he took his chance to continue. But then the door to the room bursted open as in the doorway was nadia holding two people far apart from each other that being vance and lazuli in another spat
"That was my candy bar and you took it"vance said swiping at her
"Nuh uh that was mine you dumb fish eating cat. go eat a fish bar"lazuli retorted as the two got into it as the tiger groaned loudly.
"Torch tell your dam kids to shut up. My daughter is going to have her head explode while well my son kept egging them on"nadia said as a younger zoey stepped into view sighing holding someone in her arms that behind a younger zane holding a wolf plushie in his hand swearing a puffy dark blue jacket.
"Uncle tell them to stop and my annoying brother won't stop egging them on"zoey said as the younger zane smacked her lightly in the face with the plushie to her annoyance. Roman sighed nabbing his two kids by the ears

"Breakfast is ready you two. We came to grab you but didn't bother you so you can talk"kali softly said
Jazmine felt a little embarrassed"oh um thanks mom so we gonna discuss a game plan on how to deal with these guys?"She asked as the women nodded

It wasn't long as she carefully walked down the stairs to the cargo hole to mainly find her boyfriend doing one thing. That mainly being swinging equinox around in the hold as he pretended an opponent was in front him
