Chapter 57:Not Bloodrelated
It was a bright ne shining day over the island of menagerie right now. As everyone was in better spirits right now mainly because of last nights events. Though right now in the belladonna household right now everyone was slowling get up from last night. But they had to keep the girls from beatrix school who wanted to leave in the ship. While four of them refused to leave which got them locked up right next to carmel and beatrix in the jail.
But right now blake was in her room slowly getting up out of bed right now. As she just got a quick shower in for the day. Though she walked around her room relived that problem that was going on has been solved right now. Though she couldn't help but be worried about something right now. Mainly because of her sister almost being killed
"I need to get stronger to keep her safe. I can't lost her again its almost happened twice now in the last two weeks. Maybe i should head to the training field later."she thought as she eyed the ribbon in her hair smiling a little at it.
"I hope you and ruby are okay wherever you two are right now. I hope we can save you weiss from whoever took you away from your home"she internally hoped and promises and soon left her room to get her day started.
Heading downstairs mainly everyone was in the dinning room right now as joining them for today was onxyia and father with ilia as well. As only yahto was their along with sun with a few other faces their mainly being sombra, autumn and mavis with some of the others girls in more casual clothing.
As mavis just wore a simple tan skirt that reached to her knees along with light grey leggings and character shoes colored brown. As she wore a simple white dress blouse over it with some earrings on.
While for autumn the girl just wore some brown dress pants along with a warm colored wool sweater on with some simple tan boots to match. For sombra it was very different compared to the rest of them.
As the girl was now wearing a pair of black jean shorts that showed off her toned legs along with some fish next on her legs to match with it. While for an undershirt all she simple wore was a black crop top that showed off most of her midriff as she had some abs actually. Along with that she wore a dark purple jacket with the sleeves rolled up on the forearms along with white trim fur being on the collar unzipped.
While she had some pouches on her hips along with some armor on her shoulders colored silver.
Kali noticed her daughter smiling"Their you are dear i was wondering when you were going to show up today."She said as blake took her seat beginning to eat her breakfast
"She right because you were going to miss us messing with jaz and neo over here. I wonder why"aruna said with a toothy grin to the two who were both mad blushing from last nights events. As jazmine felt very horrfoied that she praticualry showed her naked form to everyone last night
Sombra snorted for a moment"You mean how her little sister decided to play strip poker last night. Without the poker part"she jokes to their amusement as they laughed at that as jazmine groaned bright red
"Shut up! Sorry my stupid semblnaces make me lose my clothes"she shouted flustered heavily right now.
"You can turn into a giant cat. Which i think is awesome seriously i'm so happy were finally free of that stupid school."autumn said in complete joy right now
Junior chuckled drinking some coffee for a moment sighing"well don't worry about that place. Though heads up that place will probably still remain open despite us even having evidence to shut them down"he said to their annoyance
"Are you kidding me? Why the heck wouldn't they shut down because all that stuff they did is messed up" sun stated his anoynace as mavis sighed messing with her food.
"Miss browning has connections with most elites in the world. Despite that she does have the right to teach girls that. It was hidden in part of their school as they did say they'd train us to defend ourselves. And become proper ladies"she said rubbing her forearm for a minute looking down
As sienna noticed the girls striff sighing before gently handing over sorrel to the girl who looked very confused right now holding a baby.
"I um…i..uh you really shoudln't trust me…since last night i um…"She was stopped as the bengel put a hand up
"Dear you were being threatened by a vile women. Look i'm sure mari is terrible mad at you for what you did to her sweet niece. But that little girl has been through too much pain right now already"She sadly said peeking some of their interest for a moment as ambroise leaned abc slightly
"Okay you keep being vague on that stuff….what exactly happened to this kid? Because all i saw last night was that women just telling her everything will be alright. For like two hours straight'he said because he counted for some reason

"Although i do take it you do have a request for me. I will need to take back these girls to their homes since most of them are from mistral. Your daughter and mentioned it when we met"he asked as ghira eyed the group for a bit gently nodding to the man.
"We need your help to stop an attack on havan academy. The white fang and several others are planning to attack the captial"he said eyeing some since cella did a test with a few of the people here saying how they don't give aay information. This caught some of them offguard as sombra choked on her food for a moment. While mavis dropped her utensil to the table as buckley went wide eyed with his stovepipe in his mouth now
"Are you serious?! Why haven't you warned the huntsman or the academy themselves their?"mavis asked completely shocked
Blake sighed"We can't because well we don't have deep range transmission. Although do you think you could transport us with you on your path to mistral?"she asked but the man sighed shaking his head
"I'm sorry lass but my ship wouldn't be big enough for all these people. Because some of the passenger on the ship need to head back to their homes."buckley sadly replied which just removed their only way to havan right now as they had no other options to get their now. As they started to lose that one glimmer of hope right now that was when jazmine had a thought cross her mind
"Wait i think i have a solution to our problem!"she declared gaining their attention now as her father was itnrigued bushing his beard a little
"What exactly are you implying right now dear?"ghir aaksed intrigued for his youngest as jazmine crossed her arms with a confident look
"We just send a small group of to mistral to talk to the others. Mom your friends with jaki hayley owner of a weapons manufactor. He can supply us ships and weapons in no time"jazmine said as kali eyes widden a little at that.
"I…your right it slipped my mind that my teammates might be able to help us. Jaki does have access to several ships in his factories and weapons. But he only has access and calida might only be their. Isn't he in vacuo?"she asked as that was when she continued
"Sun mentioned that but we can use that. Junior over has to have access to some ships in mistral at least. We could have him send a small party their to grab him and even ask the despardos for help. "Jazmine gave her idea as they thought about it for a moment as blake went through the details in her head for a bit
It wasn't a bad plan actually it might actually work they would get ships, weapons and reinformcents for the fight against the white fang and their allies.
"Actually you might be right….do you think you could take a small group of us their. We might actually get ships and weapons in…a week even"blake said smiling as ghira smiled at his two daughter right now proud of them
"That sounds like an excellent idea dear. Because we can kill two birds with one stone even"sienna stated which they wondered what she meant.
"What are you talking about?"yahto asked before the bengel faunus eyed neo for a moment and some others in their midst.
"Well i'm just saying if they head to vacuo. They could grab miss politicians brother who is staying their. Along with any other of your friends that are their, including and brother"sienna answered as onxyia went slightly wide eyed at that as her tail began to wag at the thought of that.
"Wait..can…can we actually do that?"She asked with hope as declan noticed her change in tone smiling a little glancing at his friend who shared a look

"That will be fine. If its alright with you sir could you take some people with you to gain help for our cause. Travel to vacuo to gain support to stop another kingdom from being destroyed"he asked as buckley chuckled tipping his captains hat to the group.
"I'll do it in a heartbeat. The ship should be repaired later in the day before we leave by tonight. We can take some of you along with dropping off miss carmel and browning in a jail cell hopefully"he answered as this overjoyed alot of them as neo zipped over hugging the cheifitna right now as the man laughed patting her head
"I assume your thanking me for allowing this dear. You deserve to see some family after the hardships you went through. Your real family"he wsiley said making the mute smile at that as verde soon sighed standing up
"Well if you all are going i'm going with you. I need to be back in vale right now"verde announced to wife and daughter confusion
"Wait but…dear what about us? Because if their actually hunting people down they might be coming after you. Their probably waiting for you at the clinic"sienna said with concern as her husband gently smiled at her
"I'll be fine dear. Though i may need an escort for the trip could you please accompany me their"verde asked as yahto froze up hearing that as he looked down rubbing his wrist for a bit.
"I um…sorry i promised feathers i would–"he was stopped as neo flicked his head shaking her head at him.
"I'll be fine ingram. Because besides you can meet us in havan with everyone else. Along with that you can check up on your sisters back home. Do me a favor please…you promised to protect me for my sister. Please go get my brother and bring him home"She signed with a pleading look as the boy sat their stunned

"I'll do that for you ice cream hair. Who knows maybe your brothers got a girl or something their finally."yahto said overjoying the mute as they began to clean up dinner to start their day.
As blake and some others left the house at that moment as their group mainly consisted of neo and jazmine. With sun, sombra, aruna, onxyia, autumn and mavis joining them. As the group just walked around town for a bit actually appreciating the beauty as a few of the academy girls were walking about free of their chains right now.
While they walked for a bit sombra took a deep breath of a air exhaling stretching her arms out.
"Mans its so great to be out of that stuffy outfit. Seriously i felt like a doll in that thing"Sombr asiad in relief as sun chuckled
"Well you are kinda like a doll then. But come on even tough girls can look like"Sun compleimtned as this made the girl blush from the sudden complement eyeying him for a bit but hide her blush succefsully from the rest to keep her tought girl act up.
"Well tell that to my dad. Seriously that guy would always wanna try and buy me dresses. But i asked for a different style of stuff"sombr said confidently as mavis sighed a little hearing that right now rubbing her neck

"We have very good reason for leaving i…i was forced to do recon missions on village tricked into thinking we were doing peaceful protest again. I…i got tricked because i felt like an outcast among my own kind. Because of my traits"onxyia started as blake eyed her metal arm for a moment sighing
"I mainly left getting sick of the blood shed….though i used to date the old leader adam tarrus. I'm happy we broke things off…it scares me that hes still running around remnant somewhere right now"blake said shivering at the thought as adam flashed in her head a little at that moment. Though ilia swallowed hard hugging herself as she fought the tears
"I..um wanted to leave because i…god dammit"ilia said before suddenly running off before they could stop her as blake noticed her in the midst of crying right now. As this startled them a little

And if you want answers about your dad i suggest asking mine or saber. Thye've been here the longest"blake said before running off after ilia as they stood their for a bit continuing to walk to whenever they were planning to go.

Aruna was laughing at her for a moment"oh…oh thats just priceless well their was this one thing i heard and–"She was stopped as she was chi blasted into the ground as the girl groaned a little. Before onxyia decided to divert the attention glancing at the nearby orphanage
"Hey lets go help out their today! Maybe go see if mari needs any help and then we can do something else later"she said quickly zipping over as they were just confused as they decided to just follow her into the orphanage.
But with blake she was busy chasing after ilia as she rushed through the streets of menagerie in a full sprint. As she did her best trying to keep up with deciding to use the rooftops to catch up with her. The cat kept jumping from rooftop to rooftops
"Where are you going right now ilia"she thought chasing after here
After some time she soon reached the beach as she stoof perched on a rooftop to see ilia turn around down on the coastline of the island. As she hoped down deciding to give chase again as she got to the spot walking down the coastline as the waves crashed against the snad.
Though after some time she soon arrived somewhere that being a very small alcove with a tarp pitched over a small little campsite. Their was even a campfire along with a sleeping bag with a set of binoculars right now. As ilia sat their with a very downcasted look right now as she was quietly crying into her knees.
Blake walked over to sit next to her as the girl glanced up noticing she was here as she buried her face into her knees.
"You didn't need to follow me right now. I want to be alone right now"ilia said not looking at her
"Well i can't because i'm very concerned for my friend. Look i know you've been through so much right now. But their are people here to help you"blake said
"No…i'm fine..i…i really don't want to be pityed right now. We got alot to worry about…my dumb…life isn't really worth it"She said with a cold tone
Blake narrowed her gaze not liking the sound of that one bit"ilia don't talk like that. You are worth being looked after right now. Because i know your very hurt about akasha being–"She was stopped as ilia stood up glaring at her
"Shut up! At least you actually have someone! For the frist time in my life i had someone who cared about me and didn't use me!"ilia cried outloud as as it clicked with the cat. She doesn't want to feel used or owed to someone right now.
"Your…your worried about being used by us? That your feeling don't even matter?"blake asked shocked as ilia frooze up sitting back down burying her face into her knees as she let a quivered breath out.
"I…i..already lost the only two people i considered family a long time ago. But i want my parents back…i..missed them so much. A dumb human tried to mug us and my dad tried to protect me and my mom. He just stabbed him in the chest and my mother looked horrorifed as he tried to steal her purse. But then their partner stabbed her in the throat."she started as she let tear beginning to form on her eyes
"But…no one even offered to help me…i kept begging for someone to help my parents. They just ignored me…like i was just nothing but a useless little girl. Then i get put into foster care and then i thought i'd be in a loving family. No…they used me as their own maid for their stupid family"she continuing trying to fight the tears as blake sat next to her waiting to provide comfort.
Ilia sniffed choking on her next words"i…i was so happy to have help from my neighbor. But…then ireturn the kindness she gave me by joining the white fang. Their i…um..actually met you…at first i um…"she said blushing slightly with tears as she rolled her eyes.
"Kinda obvious that you had a crush on me back in the fang. Though i'm taken…you can continue"She said making her feel embarrassed slightly but continued
"Though um…when i met onxyia…and jae they helped akasha ask me out. It made me so happy that someone actually cared for me. I thought she was messing with me at first but she actually cared about me"she continued about to smile but stopped at what happened next sighing
"But i was dam coward…i should have gone with them when they wanted to leave the fang. I…let my girlfriend walk into her death…along with jae…xander and so many others. I should have helped them…we were suppose to meet. but.."She paused glancing at the ocean infront of her as tears flowed down her cheeks.
"I was met by ollie and he told me what happened…how he killed them….how her last words were that she loved me"ilia finished crying her eyes out as blake looked down
Gently pulling her over she wrapped her arms around her hugging tight enough that she was comfortable enough.
"I want her to come back! Why did she have to die and why not me! I'm a uselss person who only use is to be a dam tool! I don't want to be a buren on anyone anymore….i don't want to be a pitiful mess!"She cired and cried as blake rubbed the back of her head in a circular motion.
"Look…you need to clam down i know you've been through alot we all have. But their are people here for you that share the same problems. You are not useless and i'm sure katherine and declan don't think of you as some sort of burden. They took you in because they are worried about you. You've made it this far right now but finish it for her and them. Your strong and you just need to keep on looking ahead instead of behind"blake said wsiley
Ilia stared down at the sand for a moment sepeartating as she whipped the tears away fro a moment laughing
"God..you sound just like your dad now. Whats next you gonna grow a beard?"ilia joked
"No because i wouldn't look the best in it. Jazmine might since she could use her semblance though it might result in her being in her birthday suit"blake replied making her laugh a little.
"True though…maybe later we should all spend tonight together or whatever. Your place?"she asked as blake had a different idea
"Lets go to sombra she has a pool their along with a nice little garden. Then we can enjoy tomorrow off"blake said as she nodded in agreement at that as they began to head back to the others wherever they are.
Though with the others right now early they were busy arriving at the orphanage right now. As the workers were in the process of rounding up the kids inside for a meal it seems. While mari stood outside with someone else by her side mainly being sumer. Because piper was running around the silver eyed women surprisingly like she impritned on her.
"Well this is just funny seems my niece really like you despite those eyes of yours"mari stated
Summer sighed smiling a little"yes though she remind me a bit of my daughter actually. Who will probably hate me next time she sees me"she sadly replied
"Look i may not be a mother but i've helped raise the kids here for six years now. But you need to stop being so depressing on everything. Because for starters for two years i thought i lost my two nieces and my sister and brother in law. I…did lose them."she said pausing before smiling at her niece
"But i still have one of them and fully intend to be their for the rest of her life. Make sure she gets what she needs to enjoy her life to the fullestes. I know you want to visit that girl of yours and apoligze to her i assume. I'm sure she missed you alot dear"she softly finished as summer took those words in for a just a moment.
Until suddenly the other walked over as quickly piper rushed over hugging onxyia around her legs staring at her.
"Doggy"she cheered as onxyia smiled picking her up hugging her as she nuzzled her.
"Heyya sweetie. Are you doing alright after last night?"she asked as piper looked down hugging her tight
"I had a nightmare…the scary man in the trenhcoat was their. "Piper sadly answered as the wolf held her close as mavis looked away with guilt as mari noticed her glaring a little.
"Well if it ins't the girl who threaten to kill my niece. Let me guess your here to apologiz for harming a little girl. Because of you she had a severe panic attack last night"mari growled in malice as mavis looked away with guilt sighing before bowing
"I'm sorry..i…i was just scared…but that doesn't excuse what i did to her. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me."mavis apolgized softly as her took her words in for a moment before nodding closing her eyes.
"Your fine but for how you can apologize to me is simple. Any of you know how to fix a sink. Despite being pretty well off we have a tough time with maintenance"mari asked as mavis raised her hand
"I know a bit….fixed a few things with my father when i was younger."she replied as they led them inside as they all split up to do their own thing.
As mavis was led to a large kitchen area with onxyia and jazmine joining her. It was a large kitchen that had a table to fit maybe twenty people their without wasting a single space. With a large kitchen sink and dish washer on the side for large loads to handle. Plenty of cabinet space for bowls and plates and for utensils that enough for the kids. As james was their in the middle of cleaning some stuff up.
"Oh uh hey guys you here to help out again today?"he asked
"They sure are though this one here will help you with the sink. I'll be off keeping the kids distracted"mari said walking off taking piper but james eyed her for a bit as he kept staring as jazmine looked at him
"Ohhhh so you fancy the bear faunus here hmm…oh m–"she was stopped as he covered her mouth bright red in the face
"Kid do me a favor and keep your trap shut. I do fancy that women for her kind heart but if either of you tell her. You'll regret it"he wanted as mavis opened a cabinet getting to work with some tools as she found the pipes that lead to the sink.
"Okay from the looks of it…might be an internal component failure. It might be messing with the water let me check it out"She said taking a wrench from a tool box and starting working on the problem.
After five minutes she was able to remove the line connecting the faucet as she looked underneath it and found the problem immediately. The cartilage valve control the flow of the water was broken.
"Found the problem. The lever on the cartilage valve is broken which means water isn't getting through. Got an extra comepont should be an easy fix?"mavis asked as james opened a draw grabbing the spare tossing her it. As she placed the competent back in regulat positon securing it making sure it doesn't move. Onxyia tested the water as it came out strong on the other end.
"Problem solved anything else you guys need help with we need to kill time. Might head to the training field later"onxyia replied
"I wouldn't want to impose but what the heck. "Hame kidnly said as they got to work
What turned into a small visit was turned into more of their group helping around the oprahnge today. After handling the water issue mavis along with sombra got to work putting new shingles on the roof since a few went missing. While sun and neo kept the kids entertained doing some tricks for them. With aruna and jazmine making sure everyone was well fed as they god some food ready for them.
Though onxyia was busy right now sweeping the front of the orphanage with mavis right now as three hours passed by just like that. With sombra their taking a water break as onxyia felt relived with the works she doing feeling happy to do this. Though as she kept working their for a bit soon enough sienna walked over.
"Well here you all were i was wondering where you went off too"She said as they greeted her as sombra took a big drink of her water.
"Oh hey uh miss khan…what brings you here today right now?"sombra asked as the women looked down
"Just came by to well…check how things are going and well…have you seen your mother dear?"sienna asked the wolf who thought for a moment
"No not really. Early this morning she said she had to go do something though i don't know what."onxyia replied as akata walked past them with some garbage throwing it in a trashcan.
"Well i heard from foxy your ma went to vist hers. Probably consoling her…because uhhh colt told me she was up most of the night crying."akata answered concerning them right now.
"Why would she be crying? Did something happen to her last night?"mavis asked as sienna sighed rubbing her eyes
"She lost her son. And she just got him back a long time ago after thinking he died in a fire eight years ago. That women does keep her tough girl act pretty good"sienna saldy answered as onxyia looked down hearing that sighing.
"I'm going to check up on her maybe…later see his and xanders graves"she saldy added as sombra looked down but stared at her
"I'll come with. Might as well make sure your okay because it'll be nice to see his final resting place. "Sombra offered as she nodded as they were beginning to walk over until sienna said something to them
"If you do ask her about that arm of her how she lost it. It might take her mind off things"sienna called out as they nodded. The two eventually reached the house as they didn't even need to knock as it was left open. Stepping inside the house the sound of someone crying could be heard inside as the wolf dreaded this. As sombra admired the pictures on the wall for a bit
"Man can't believe this chick is a world champion….though she sounds terrible"sombra quietly said as she nodded
The two stepped into the living room to reveal nadia crying her eyes out yet again like she done for two weeks now. As on the table was malice and mercy along with a photo album as kahterine was doing her best to console her.
"Dear i know it hurts that hes gone…i miss my little boy as much as you. But you need to stop drinking and get proper rest. You need to relax"katherine insutrcted as nadia sniffed rubbing her eyes
"How can i? Seriously…i…god i just want my baby back. But no…the same people who fucking took him killed him. And now…i…don't even know if i can recover this time. "Nadia cried and cried as the doctor noticed the two here gently smiling
"You have a couple visitors here"she softly said as nadia looked up at the two as onxyia took a seat next to her as sombra took one close by but stayed silent. It was pure silence for a bit as the tiger just stared at the weapons on the table with an upset look
"Let me guess….here to tell me some bad news…or to just get over it…because i can;t. "Nadia cried
Onxyia shook her head"no…i just wanted to come by and see if your doing alright. Do you wanna talk about anything?"she softly asked as the women rolled her eyes booping her head up and down suggesitng she didn't get sleep
"About what? That i'm a terrible parent…i do everything i can to raise those two. Worked my tail off in my gym to give them a decent life. But that doesn't even matter because i was so stupid…why did i leave him home alone. Why didn't i just him on that dumb errand"nadia cried as onxyia palced a hand over hers for a bit as katherine looked down
"Dear…what exactly even happened that night? Why would you even leave him home alone?"she asked confused
The tiger sniffed rubbing her eyes looking down at the floor"i only left him home alone because…because…it was his birthday and we were trying to surprise him"She cired with tears flowing to their shock that she lost him on his birthday as onxyia gasped covering her mouth
"I…so…he got taken…on his own birthday?"She asked hurt as she nodded continuing
"When i got their after grabbing his dumb birthday gift…and some food for the night. I…we came back to the place on fire"she said beginning her small tale on that tragic day the fire happened.
Eight years ago
In the city of vale right now it was eight years ago as the night sky was out with the snow dotting the ground right now. But their seemed to be nothing stirring not even a mouse faunus. Though walking down the street was nadia as she held a bag of groceries and other items it zoey did the same but had her scroll out on speaker as she carried a small present in hand
"Hey uncle ray you and those cousins of mine arrive yet?"she asked
"Not yet we're leaving right now with colt. Remeber your uncle is very popular with the police"Roman replied on the other end
"Well you do have a weird way of making business ray"nadia added
"Hmph you aren't arguing with that gift I got you all those year"Roman replied as he obviously meant nadia prosetheitc arm
"Yeah well can't thank you enough for it…though I wonder how my little boy is back at the gym"nadia said which confused roman right now
"Wait you left him by himself?"he asked on the other end
"Don;t worry we were gone for two hours and its his birthday. And i wanted to surprise him"nadia reassured
Though as the two faunus turned the corner something filled their noses. It smelled like smoke right now and they looked around where it was coming from. They both were shocked to see said gym in flames as nadia looked scared right now.
"Oh no…no…no"nadia said as she dropped the grocies in hand as they fell to the ground
"Oh no, crap uncle get here now!"zoey shouted into her scroll as she was running over
"What happen? Is everything alright?"roman alsed worried on the other end
Zoey looked scared right now hoping something bad hasn't happen to her brother.
"Theirs a fire, I …we gotta find zane. Call the fire department"she ordered hanging up hoping he would call them. The fox faunus looked to see her mother kicking at the door repeatly. With each kick a metal bang went off as she had tears welling up in her eyes
"God dammit…open you piece of shit!"she shouted as she switch to her metal hand. Nadia punched the doors hard with her metal hand leaving a dent. Zoey rushed over as they looked at each other before rushing into the door together
"Ok, do it now"zoey said as the two bashed the door. Then they did a few more times as zoey shoulder was a little sore. But nadia was worried if her only son was still alive in their. Soon enough he door swung open as nadia rushed in
The tiger faunus coughed a little as she covered her mouth. Their was smoke everywhere and several small fire could be seen. Along with a few beams from above on the grounds with the boxing ring being smashed
"Zane baby where are you?!"she called out hoping he was okay. She stepped toward trying to get in further but the burning wood blocked her path
Though zoey looked around but she could hear the creaking of wood. She looked up seeing one of the rafters above was slowly coming undone. Then immedialty it fell down as she rushed foward pulling her mother back
"Mom watch out!"zoey said pulling nadia back but as she did the flames were getting even bigger
Nadia tried to go foward but a large flame stopped her from pursueing any further as she went wide eyed. She started cry in anguish right now trying to get inside for her son. But the fire was too much as zoey had tears starting to stream down her face
Soon enough the fire department came to the scene along with a couple swaud cars. Firefighter rushed toward the building as they began using water dust to pu the fire dust out. While some of them began to make their way into the building
"Come on their could be survivors!"a firefighter said
"On it!"another said bringing the axe down on the burning wood
Though a couple of them noitced nadia their reaching foward into the building. She had tears streaming down her face as she began to ugly cry
"Not my baby…please not him"she cried as the firefighter started to guide the two away.
"We'll get him out ma'am don't worrie"a female firefighter reassured
"Yeah well get your kid out"a faunus firefigh r added as nadia hopes they did. She couldn't lose him, but that small bit of hope may be gone.
After about twenty they put the fire out finally. Nadia sat their covering her eyes crying right now. The police officer their were trying to ask the two what happened. But nadia just kept crying while zoey kept looking toward the burnt out building hoping they can find him.
"Do you know when the fire started?"the officer asked calmly
"Because from the looks of it this may be arson"another officer added
Nadia just kept crying covering her face"I don't know…god dammit why did I leave him here by himself"she cried as a blanket was wrapped around her to comfort her
Zoey just covered her mouth praying he made it out.
"Hmm well from what my guys found it was, someone in the back started it. Found some fire dust back their"the firefighter captain said
"Are you saying some bastards torch my mom gym for what!?"zoey shouted in rage as a younger officer placed a hand on her shoulder
"Easy miss, we don't know if it was an accident or not. But…why did you leave your kid here?"he softly asked
"He ain't my kid he's my dam brother…and he said he could stay home by himself. We were gone for only a couple hours. Please tell me he made it"zoey begged
Though the officer looked at the firefighter captain who had a somber look on his face. Though nadia ear flicked as from the burnt out building. A couple of them declared something
"Captain found someone!"one yelled as nadia and zoey looked over with some hope in their eyes.
"Is my baby okay?"nadia asked getting up with tears still on her face. Though a couple of the officer and firefighter tried holding her back.
"Man step back from the crime scene"an officer warned
"Yeah look just sit down and —"the firefighter started but she pushed her to the ground. Then she rushed foward as the two firefighter were brining something out. But she stopped dead in her tracks as she looked at what they were bringing out
A giant white sheet on a small stretcher laying on top of something. The tiger faunus looked down as her heart felt like it was torn into pieces. Soon enough more tears started streaming down her face as her legs gave out as she collapsed to the ground.
Zoey was walking over as she just covered her mouth shaking her head as tears escape her eyesThough nadia just started to cry in anguish right now seeing that her son was dead. Soon the firefighter that she pushed down walked over wrapping a blanket around her. Because she just lost her son
Present
Finishing the story as she was still crying as onxyia was now hugging her to comfort her but looked troubled hearing this. As katherine just held her hand over her chest as sombra jaw was slack.
"Thats…that what happened…god…why does this world hate me"She said ugly crying as onxyia hugged her tight thinking of what sienna said early.
"Hey….how did you lose your arm?"She asked to their surprise
"Why are you asking about my arm kid?"nadia replied trying to whip the tears away as the wolf shuffled in her spot for a bit.
"It might take your mind off him for a bit…something nice to talk about"she suggested but the tiger gave a strange look
"Girly…i lost my arm the day i found my kids in that bandit camp"she corrected to their shock she lost her arm that day.
"You lost your arm do a bandit raid…let me guess a bandit sliced it off"she asked as the tiger chucked sighing as she rubbed her prosthetic hand for a bit.
"No…not really a grimm took it though to keep it short i um. That night me, fen, bastet and amber with some others got word of slavers taking a bunch of innocent people. We found them with torches help but uh…god those sickos. They…they were burning a bunch of innocent peoples body"she started as they listened as she gripped her arm tight.
"And they were celebrating about it….about killing women, men, the eldery and even kids. So…that night…we decided to stop them permanently"she said codly as they slightyl went wide eyed
"You….you killed them? Why?"sombra shocked kid
"Killing isn't right dear why would you even consider something like that?"katherine asked as the tiger looked down
"I didn't care….they deserved it we killed each and everyone of them for what they did. That why i was so heartbroken when i saw him smash that bot…i knew he must have been going through alot at that moment"She said hugging herself sighing smiling slightly
"Though uh soon enough i actually found the leader and he was holding a little tot hostage. A two year old. Next thing grimm started to show up and well he threw him toward them. I dove in and caught him then well that grimm tore my arm off that night."she continued
"I guess after that happened thats when you met my boyfriend"she asked but shook her head
"Try the opposite he was that little tot…scarfied my arm for him. Then i tried to find his parents…his dad died from sickness. And well…i found his mother with a bullet hole in her head. Then i found zoey and vance then well the rest is history"She said eyeing a photo album that showed a younger her holding a tot in her one arm with a young fox next to her looking rather annoyed. though sombra eyed another photo album beginning to laugh
"Oh man did you do this as a baby cousin?"she asked before presenting a picture of a young wolf holding her tail in her hands sucking on it. As onxyia went flush
"Gah! Don't tease me were trying to have a touching moment here"She pleaded as katherine chuckled messing with her eyes.
"But you always did that as a baby…it was so adorable. "Kahteirne cooed to her daughter embarrassment as nadia sighed rubbing her arm
"Hey why don't we go see everyone off then go to the onsen here."she suggested as they nodded in agreement at that deciding to enjoy themselves for a bit.
Yes this chapter is very long i wanted to cover certain things in one chapter. Though we got the backstory on how nadia lost her arm and how that terible day happened. But it seems things are getting interesting with some of them leaving to warn the academy and get some help. Thanks for reading!
