Chapter 59:Onward To Argus
It was an eerie silence right now in the tent after what was just revealed to the group. That being that ruby rose wasn't the sister of yang but instead her cousin and that her uncle qrow was her father right now. They all stood their in complete shock right now as they still sat in that silence right now as yang was released as she knelt on the ground.
But tears were running down her face right now as she just quietly cried that she been lied to her entire life right now.
"Are…are you serious or are you messing with us right now? Because those two are sister tai is your husband"falk said which earned a look from syinin who kept her mouth shut but looked at her older sister
Raven soon gained her composure before approaching her duaghter"Sweetie…i…look i can explain….just please calm down and i can–"She was placing a hand on her but she threw it off her shoulder which revealed yang with tears staining her cheeks.
"You lied to me….you lied to me telling me that she was my little sister. I treated her like a sister for my entire life"yang cried starting to back up at that moment
"Little dragon please i can explain just….i…i…um"raven coudln't find the words as her only daughter just glared at her.
"You lied to me my entire life! I thought she was my baby sister since dad and you said you both were engaged to my step mom! But that was a lie because shes actually my aunt how could you lie to me my entire life! Including her does she know about this?!"yang shouted with tears streaming still.
"I um look kiddio their is a good reason for your mom and dad to do this"verona said making them stare at her.
"You…you knew about this?!"yang shouted heartbroken right now staring at her aunt who looked away as dravan even looked away from them making his niece stare him down.
"Uncle…do…do you know about this too?"eria asked as the jackal avoided her gaze at that moment. At that moment their were so many emotions going through yangs midn right now but one of them was just heartrbeak. Without a word she rushed out of the tent with tears viable running down her face.
"Wait yang don't go!"weiss called out to her teammate but it was too late as she ran away out of earshot. All of them just looked very shocked upon what they were hearing as raven sighed heavily walking over toward her bed sitting on it holding her head for dear life. Because she just revealed something she promised to reveal when the time was right.
It was just pure silence for a moment as no one spoke up at first but lazuli glared at her with a slightly scowl on her face.
"Did you seriously hide something like that from your own daughter?"lazuli said with a growl
Verona rubbed her arm as her ears flicked"look kid rae and qrow had a very good reason to hide that from their kids"she tried to ease into the topic
"Are you kidding me? What reason would you have to hide the fact that they aren't sisters?emerald argued earning a few glares from some.
"You have room to speak right now kid. Because my niece told me what you and that boyfriend of hers did. You dragged my other niece out to go kill people in the name of you friends"dravan growled as his tail rhashed as she glared at him with tears forming.
"I didn't suggest going out to kill people her dam sister did. She came to me and mercury and jaune saying we should go after them. Because those bastards deserve to pay for what they did"emerald spat back to the man shock his own niece went out to kill people
Immedialty dravan covered his mouth sitting down heartbroken his own niece wanted to go out and kill people. He can guess she hurt with the people she loss but to push her so far as to go out and murder people it hurts. Wiess gasped covering her mouth as lazuli flinched hearing that right now along with falk. This made them all pause of a moment in complete shock.
"I…i…t-their is no way she was the one to suggest. She isn;t the type to kill someone"weiss replied in disblief
"Snow angel right because that girl was all bubbly and cheerful. Their is no way she would want to try and murder someone"falk added
Adam sighed crossing his arm shaking his head"you don't know how much a bond means to you've known someone your entire life even it a even stronger bond"he begun pacing around guiding his hand on a nearby table for a moment
"What you go more words of wisdom bull boy?"lazuli smugly asked as he eyed her down
"I do because from what i've heard and seen from the hayley girl here. That nikos girl along with that mckay boy meant alot to her. Didn't they?"he asked directly to eria who looked down hugging herself crying a little hearing that again
Eria sniffed as she found her voice"they were…we got bullied for being related to a faunus alot…people kept making fun of us alot. Even a few of them harassed us"she answered as her aunt pulled her over in a comforting embrace at that moment shocked to hear her other niece would want to kill people
"But pyrrha was the first friend we made….we knew each other for so many years. Her parents and her were like family to us. Then when we got to sanctum….tanner and perun stopped some bullies harassing us. Then we all started to become friends"she continued as tears began breaking through again wondering if her sister already dead right now.
"But..i sould have talked to her more…i saw she was hurt…but i just wallowed in self pity everysince the fall. I know…s-she was hurt after that stupid sucide message we got…those two were partners"she continued beginning to sob into her aunt chest who patted her back to get it all out.
"Huh wouldn't blame blondie for wanting to go after them though. But seriously quit having a sob story for a freak"bashira stated earning another annoyed look
"Okay seriously what is wrong with you?! She still grieving for someone she lost i am too. Because right now worst parent of the year award goes to the mighty raven branwhen over here"lazuli said pointing directly at raven who glared a little.
"First place already belong to my dam parents then it was my baby sister parents who left her to freeze to death. The next belongs to her over their and heck even summer rose since she been on the run from those grimm knights when we found her after fulling that red cloaked girls request"lazuli said going into a rant but this made them pause staring at her right now hearing that ruby mom was alive.
This made raven stare at her with tears slowly forming at that moment as all eyes were on her right now.
"What are you talking about? What request are you exactly talking about?"eria questioned confused as lazuli eyes buldged out of her head she let that slip out.
"I..um…n-nothing i must have misspoke i meant my fox cousin parents. Yeah they were real pieces of work"she tried to disucade but weiss gave a look
"But miss walker said her parents are dead. They died in the slaver camp from what I recalled she mentioned while teaching at beacon"weiss corrected as lazuli started to mess with her necklace alot at that moment fiddlign with it.
Synin cracked her knuckles"kid you better spill right now. Because i'm sure my niece is very emotional but what is this request?"she demanded
"Well uh we rescued her brother after some of us found him injured while cleaning the city. Took him back to her dads place and ruby found out she was swan"emerald replied making them all pause for a moment glancing at lazuli for a moment.
"Waittttt your that thief known as swan?...awesome!"midney cheered as mai glanced at her then falk who was starting to sweat bullets at that moment.
"Wait….would that make you apart of her crew? Because the news said she runs with three others their codenames being hei bei, hawk and skyguy. Which means..."She didn't need to finish as he sighed heavily.
"Yep thats me….i'm the getaway pilot. Though i'm sure some of you guys figured that already"he replied as some nodded
"Kinda figured though i take it since your here and not out robbing any banks you got a good reason to be here"Dravan replied as he nodded but they turned their attention back to lazuli.
"And what exactly is this request that roman torchwick gave you?"weiss questioned crossing her arms under her bust.
Emerald rubbed the back of her head"that he said we could use a favor anytime we want. Before you guys came back from menagerie and argus. She suggested using it to find her mom which i guessed she used"She said eyeing the thief who didn't like the eyes on her but cracked wanting to give some good news.
"Alright…alright! Already just broke that promise I made to her guess i gotta tell you what happened during that trip to the patch"lazuli said sitting in a chair
"Why did you visit the patch?"bashira questioned as falk sighed rubbing his side
"Got rumors of someone who went by the name of the white ghost. Heard they slayed grimm left to right and vanished without a trace. No one knew who they were but they said they last saw her in the patch at some old hut"he started peeking raven interest

Lazuli sighed nodding"yeah we get their and it looks brand new like someone was living their. Before we knew it a bunch of grimm attacked us handle them for a bit till skyguy over here got attacked by one giving him that scar"she said as falk lifted his shirt up presenting his scar

"Sorry lied about that…though instead of panda ears saving me. Next thing we know a women in a white cloak wearing a grimm mask zoomed through slicing and dicing them down in seconds. With white rose petal being left behind her"he continued as raven interest was immediately peeked wondering if this was leading where this was leading
"Wait…wait does that mean…you found her mom?"bashira asked surprised
Lazuli nodded rubbing her face"we did looked like a spitting image of her. Had a prosthetic arm in place of her missing arm. But we promised her to not tell her about where her daughter was because…she..she was scared of someone finding her"she said shivering a little earning more confused looks.
"Scared of someone? What are you exactly talking about?"adam questioned
That was when one person crossed raven mind that witch"are you telling me that witch is hunting my sister in law down?"she asked with worry as ozpin shivered in oscar head.
"I'm not surprise miss rose would be running away from her. But lets wait till the right moment till we reveal ourselves alright"ozpin warned as oscar nodded keeping his silence for now.
"That might be her…kept talking about how she been on the run for years. Trying to keep her little girl safe…from her and…apperenlty…those grimm knights have been hunting her down. All over remnant"lazuli finished which shocked verona and raven hearing that their own friend was hunting down qrow wife.
"Are you telling us my mom was hunting down my uncle wife?"mai asked in complete shock
That was when adam theorized something"that might be what those grimm knights are also tasked to do. Hunt down anyone with silver eyes…probably to kill them"he said as that was when bashira laughed slightly.
"Ha! I knew that guy wasn't to be trusted probably sent their to kill ruby. Man you guys are idiots becuase seriously i keep saying he shouldn't be–"She was stopped as a blinding speed came at her that being lazuli with tears breaking through as she socked her in the jaw then pressed a knife to her throat.
"Shut up…shut up…shut the hell up! I'm getting sick and tired of you saying my cousin was some spy!"lazuli cried in rage as the girl rolled her eyes.
"I don't care if you think he was your family i'm happy one of those freaks are dead now. Because we don't gotta worrie about them attacking another academy"she said with venom though soon someone deicded to speak up.
"Ummm miss benkei i'm pretty sure that is rahter rude to say about someone who is dead""oscar spoke up catching them offguard now seeing him here. Because they didn't even know who this young boy is even.
"Okay whos the kid?"adam asked
"And how the heck did he know her last name?"eria added poitning as bashira who looked confused as raven had tears of joy on her face right now. Mainly because her brother might actually be very happy to hear that summer is actually alive but eyeed him down.
"Um…thats rather difficult to say. Early he introduced himself as oscar pine and well lets just say he wanted to see you"mai said pointing at raven

Oscar remained stoic for a moment before glancing at eria metal leg for a moment.
"Hm…it seems miss hayley must have lost it during the fight of beacon"he voiced his thoughts to oscar
"Um..this might be a little sensitive but…how did that happen? I mean i know i should introduce myself how did you lose your leg?"oscar said making eira give a puzzled look.
She seemed a little bothered by it but decided to pity him for now.
"I lost it during the fall of beacon…rosemary cut it off but i've gotten used to it. "eria softly answered

"Really dravan? Even after you and your brother got into several fights back in beacon. Though over time after a mission where he shielded you and got horrible injuried. It made you two form a brotherly bond and became best friends. You and port would go on limericks all day and week together"he replied
What he said surprised dravan because not many people know about that since hes never really mentioned it not even to his niece as his tail drooped

Weiss and eria were both familiar with it being one of blakes books she read on her free time but that made raven just stare in complete shock as some wonder if the story was true.

"Then theirs miss schnee surprisingly with a tail i see. The faunus heart i assume a very old relic though you did visit argus. Reasoning being that you wanted to prevent jaki hayley being kidnapped by "he coninuted
Weiss eyes slightly widden."but..i..uh how?"weiss asked
"I'm happy you asked? Because still very surprised i'm sure to hear of my return already. How long has it been"he asked raven who smirked a little hsaking her head
"So you've reincarnated finally. Been only a month now and you show up on my doorstep after i just reveal a secret and hear some good news. Now i get even more"raven said earning confused looks.

"Well lets just say i'm surprised you haven't recognized my voice yet. Former headmaster ozpin"oscar/ozpin stated
This claim made them all go wide eyed upon hearing he was the former beacon headmaster that died during the fall of beaocn which caught them offguard.
"How?! Because the news said you were dead"emerald proclaimed
"Yes. my body died however my soul is another matter. Whenever the body my soul processed dies my soul exits the body in order to locate another host. Unfortunately it was this body that it found"he said as bashira went wide eyed in shock
"I..i…i'm so sorry…i that how you knew about my family history. That why you knew the tune from thisite music box and about naca old ancestor killing his brother. And my old ancesotr being a hunter…your the man with two souls"She said in complete shock
Ozpin chuckled"i do though do no blame yourself for what happened to miss nikos. She did what she could she died as a true huntress"he replied but eria looked shocked right now but glared at this so called ozpin realziing something he knew about everything. And he just let her big sister die just like that for his plans.
"You…you convinced her to do it…you made pyrrha become the fall maiden…you…your a monster. You got my sister killed"eria cried walking over punching him square in the jaw making ozpin stumble.
"Hey settle down their kiddio relax"verona said pulling her back as tears ran down her face as she tried to break free.
"No! Because its his fault pyrrha died for making her become some stupid maiden! And its his fault for letting everyone else die if he maybe told the miltary! Then our friends would still be here along with tanner….pyrrha and my leader!"she cired as bashira looked annoyed

"Miss benkei I suggest you stop disrespecting the dead. I gave you and your team the task on prtecting our two maidens. But I will not stand here listening you disrespect the dead since some people here view them as close friends or family"ozpin said to her shock
"And was just a pawn in her schemes. Tried to remove those blasted mental suggestions over the years but their were too many to count. Shame he passed would have made a model huntsman"he continued as bashira stood their for a moment sighing deicidng to stay silent the rest of the time.
"So you're saying that ozpin soul is in oscar body. Thats is a lot to take in"Adam stated
'Yes. however their is something i wish to know from you "ozpin replied firmly
"And what would that be?"he asked
"What is your intention? A member of an anti-human organization suddenly traveling with my former students. One of them being a schnee along with some of them who i'm sure depsie you. But yet here you are with an ally of mine"ozpin said firmly
Raven sighed rubbing her arm"oz…he…he did something for our tribe none of us could do…he put melissa out of her misery. She was a grimm knight"she answered which disheartened the man hearing that.
"As for me i have no intnetnion of hurting anyone here or using wiess for anything. I have a different goal and that is to stop the attack on havan academy. Plus…realziing that an old friend of mine was just a deranged lunatic…i caused too much bloodshed in the name of my people."adam said as he glanced at lazuli as she blushed slightly at him.
Ozpin looked at adam for a minute almost like he was trying to guage his conviction as adam only stared back with his one good eye. Ozpin only simled a bit before he nodded.
"Very well. You're conviction is sound. Now if you'll excuse me but i'll take my leave"ozpin said as he lost the green glint in his eyes as ow oscar was back in command
"Umm..sorry if that was a little intense for all of you. Epseiclaly after the bombshell he kinda dropped on you"oscar said
"Its fine. Because were used to getting figurative bombsehlls dropped on us"eria added
"Okay but um…what abut yang is she doing alright?"weiss voiced her worries as raven sighed eyeing the exit of her tent
"We'll discuss a plan later right now i need to console my daughter right now. And explain to her why we hide something from her and her sister. Something i'll explain to you all later over dinner…and what our next step"she said leaving the group to process what they all just heard that the former headmaster is alive.
Outside of the camp right now raven was searching for her daughter in her raven form right now. As she kept flying around the place looking for her daughter because she knows where she is right now. Somewhere she went as a child to cry her little eyes out when she got upset.
As she kept flying around for a bit she soon enough she found what she was looking for. As she soared down to the ground she immediately reutnred to her human form as she found a small path with a sign on it. That being a small board with a red rose painted on it along with a emblem her daughter emblem.
The women sighed"guess you wanted to go to the little spot you two had here when you came to visit"she said walking up the path as she followed the dirt path for a long time
It was a good ten minutes of following the path for a moment until she reached something that being the little alcove. Their was a few small chairs in the place along with a table their with some wooden walls and old looking tarps nailed to them creating a makeshift wall. Along with a few things being their that seemed like old kids toys along with a few modern looking things.
Their was a small workbench their with some tools tha thad some dust on them from not being used. Along with their being a small little tent their near the cliffside but sitting their crying her eyes out right now was yang. The women didn't say a word as she walked over taking a spot next to her daughter who glanced her glaring.
"What are you doing here? Here to drag me back to the camp to tell me more things you've hidden from me?"yang growled with a very horased voice suggesting she been crying for a while
Raven simply shook her head"no sweetie i wanted to come and explain to you why we hide it from you and your sister"she said earning a glare from her
"She isn't my sister she my cousin. I watched over her for years….years!"yang shouted shoving her mother slightly who didn;t flinch at that moment but stared at her with a somber gaze.
Their were so many emotions going through yang right now as she had tears forming"you hide it from me my entire life. I thought parents weren't suppose to hide something like that from their own kids. Because you've lied to me my entire life telling me she was my little sister."she continued choking slightly as tears slowly streamed down her face
"Are you even my mom or is that just another lie or is dad not even my–"she was stopped before being pulled into a lovingly embrace from her mother hurt she would even think those thoughts. She placed a hand the back of her head and one of her back slowly rubbing it pulling her close.
"Don't you dare say something like that because…you are my daughter along with being tais. You were one of the best things to ever happen to me in my life"raven soothed as yang cracked a little leaning into it sobbing a little as she petted the back of her head.
"But…but you lied to me….about ruby being my sister…that would mean she my cousin"yang cired but her mother had shocking news.
"Shes still your sister by blood my little dragon"raven softly said but she heard her
"What do you mean by that?"yang asked as raven pulled her up seeing her with very red eyes as she whipped them away with her thumb smiling a little.
"You two are still sister their no changing that because your still related by blood sweetie"raven answered again but this made yang look confused
"But…but how? Because that doesn't make sense that would mean you and….don't tell me you and uncle did the nasty"yang slightly joked as she had a disgusted look
"If you mean by your dad being a supplier for my brother since he was infertile and he helped my sister in law have a daughter"raven eplained as yang listened to her letting her continue
"When i first got married I was so happy to be with your father. Then when I had you it was tough for the first two years but i was happy to have you. After a couple years qrow and summer wanted to try and have a kid themselves. But…what my brother didn't expect was to be infertile and unable to produce a kid"she continued looking down
"Summer was heartbroken and so was he but tai offered something to help them. That being a surrogate donor for them as we thought about it for a bit until we allowed it. Nine months later your baby sister was born…you two have the same father but different mothers. You two are still sister by blood"she continued which shocked yang taking her words in for a moment that ruby was still her little sister. That her uncle is still her uncle but is actually her sister dad this brought soo many questions to her head right now.
"But…but why did you hide this from us?"yang asked with tears slowly forming again as she wiped them away.
Raven sighed"you know how your uncle semblance gives him bad luck"she asked as it clicked with her immeidialty.
"He was scared of something happening to…sis"yang heisated for a moment but still said it.
Raven smiled hearing that still"he was you know about her eyes. He was scared that with him being around her that she might be found by that…witch"she said shierivng at the thought of her as yang held her mother hand to comfort her.
"So he told me, my husband and summer to hide it from you two. To protect her from being found by that witch but it seems that bad luck caught up eventually. Summer was gone and we began a chase to find her for ten years"she conitneud as yang sighed looking down
This was alot to take in hearing that ruby wasn't her sister but hearing this from her mother mouth did make sense for a moment. Because even after all these years together she still viewes her as her sister but hearing this relieved her alot right now. But was also a little mad at her.
"Yeah guesisng that why you and uncle can't find each other….your bond broke. Over finding my aunt whos probably dead"yang replied but their was some good news
"Actually no sweetie because…summer is actually alive…your little sister mother is alive"Raven said with tears of joy with the brightest smile as yang looked shocked before lunging at her mother for a hug.
"I..i..h-how? You guys couldn't find her…torchwick coudln't even find her after…"she paused before eyeing her mother who nodded as yang growled in rage as her hair erupted into flames as she roared punching a nearby tree hard making a dent.
"Those two petty crooks lied to my baby sister! Oh when i get my hands on them their dead you hear me dead!"yang said about to leabe to knock some skulls but her mother stopped her.
"Calm down sweetie those two had a very good reason to hide this from you. Summer begged for them to keep her status as alive hidden. To protect your sister"raven said as yang shimmered down before standing their stunned for a bit.
"Ohhh….you better explain this to me when we walk back to camp. Because i got alot of bombshells dropped on me today"yang said as their would be many more. But an idea came to raven instead of walking
"I got a better way of walking because i hide something close by for a quick getaway if the camp came underattack"raven said before leading her close by to this little alcove. Soon enough she approached a metal crate as she pulled the doors to reveal something inide
That being a black and red vichale inside that was a two seater that it is steamed lined with black armor plating a medium sized tire that seemed meant for climbing up mountains trails. Though it looked like a motor bike as yang jaw went slack by the look of her moms bike.
"Is…is that yours?"yang asked
Raven nodded"where do you think you got your love for bikes kept this here in storage just incase. Not i got an excuse to take it for a spin"raven said as they quickly got onboard riding it back to camp as yang was a little relieved to hear her mom do this for her.
Hours later right now the tribe was having a small little going away celbration for someone right now that being haru who was at the head of the table. While right next to her was ryuu as they had a big feast right now with everyone smiling and enjoying themselves right now. As the rest of them were being told about yang and ruby little situation in amazmnet.
"Wait…wait so your saying that blondie and the shorty are still sisters?"lazuli asked as raven nodded
"That her uncle was infertile and supply summer who then had ruby. Which means their still sister since he coudlnt' get it up"falk bluntly added making wiess jabb him in the side for his disgusting remark
"Can you not be so disgusting with how you phrase it"weiss said as he stared at her before kissing her on the cheek making her tail start to wag
Yang snikcered a little"that got her to shut up because seriously still surprised you two are a thing. But yeah where still sisters"she said caressing a photo of her and ruby when they were younger with their repseictve parents by their sides.
Dravan sighed in relief"i'm glad we told you kiddio though the worst one to tell would be your little sister. She'll ball her eyes out"he sadly reminded
'Don't remind seriously she was a emotionally little girl. Though guess things are going to be hard when we don't even know where qrow and the others are now"verona replied but that was when emerald glanced toward a thief.
"Wait a minute lazuli your dad and aunt had connections everywhere right?"she asked as lazuli gave a puzzled look
"Dad did…he owed a mercenary captain a favor which means he got alot. Though used a bunch hunting down any intel on the twleve knights of grimm and watts for what he did to my family"lazuli replied epxcting bashira to say something but the girl kept her peace.
"Whats with you not going to say a rude remark about my leader?"eria codly asked glaring at the girl sighed rubbing her neck
"Uhhh no…uh the headmaster told me to stop so uh yeah i'll listen to him. Sorry"bashira said with a forced smile as they didn't really buy it but let it happen
"Well next time don't talk ill of someone loved ones. It hurt seeing my mom like that…at least she finally at peace"mai slightly cried as oscar ate some wild game right now since hes never had much as ozpin sighed in his head
"Its still a shame that women died. I hoped we could save the seven who were forced into it….only four of them remain. May those three be at peace"ozpin said somberly as raven noticed oscar deep in thought.
"Let me guess he said something about melissa?"she asked as it startled him for a moment as he nodded listening to him for a moment
"He did….saying it was upsetting she couldn't be saved. Atlas did try at first but overtime they gave up…because the general was a little paranoid"he answered as they turned back to the previous topic
"Though why did you ask about if she had connections?"weiss asked
"Well if she has connections and your dad was friends with the head of the spider gang. Maybe we can ask for their help"emerald suggested making lazuli and the other pause for a moment liking the sound of that.
"Hey…thats not a bad idea we could just head to windpath since their based out of their. And lil miss knows mistral than anyone"falk said
"Uhhh but what about your ship?"eira pointed out as he forgot about that.
"Oh right….my ship only got enough fuel and is repaired enough to make it to argus only. Which sucks"he replied but that was eria had an idea
"The we head to arugs take the argus limit to windpath. After that its a straight shot to havan then we can meet the others"eria said as it sounded like a solid plan
"That sounds nice but–"yang was stopped before haru began going into a violnet coughing fit before coughing up blood that spllatered onto the table shocking them right now as charlie rushed to her as she layed her head down weakly breathing.
"Hey…is…is it time doc?"ryuu aksed as charlie looked at him somberly nodding to him. That was when raven walked up gently picking her up as she sighed heavily.
"Please leave us alone….you can all say your goodbyes. Are you ready dear?"she asked as haru nodded smiling a little.
"Y-yeah…it was nice meeting some of you…but i guess its time huh rae"haru weakly said as they returned to her tent which was a simply bedding with some flowers their along with several bouquets for her. As all of them got to say their goodbyes as the most hurt was ryuu as all that was their was raven and haru.
The two sat their in silence as raven held haru hand as she weakly returned it panting for every breath struggling to even breath at that moment. As she had a cold rag on her head as the two just kept talking for a bit and bit. Though slowly haru closed her eyes at one point as soon raven closed her before finding herself somewhere strange
Opening her eyes inside her mind raven
was somewhere else entirely right now. She didn't know where but she opened her eyes to find herself in a white void. As she looked around she could hear birds chirping around her and it felt warm like spring.
"Where am I…am I dead?"raven thought to herself.
But she soon looked forward looking at a giant cherry blossom tree in front of her. Several petals fell from it landing on the it sitting below it was haru with her hood down smiling at raven. Raven looked at her as she walked over to the girl.
"Hello raven…its nice too see you"haru greeted as raven stood infront of her.
"I guess this is how a maiden chooses their successor or when one of them die i take it"she questioned
Haru frowned a little"i guess so…which means that i'm actually dead now I guess"haru replied as replied as raven looked down in saddeness. The women sighed heavily as she looked at the girl she has been training for years who was like a daughter at this point.
"Haru…i'm so sorry i couldn't give the life you wanted….i wish we–"raven begun but haru stopped her as she stood up and walked over embracing raven. Raven was surprised by this but slowly wrapped her arms around the girl.
"Its fine…i knew this would happen due to my disease but you have nothing to be sorry for"Haru stated as she let go of raven who had a sadden expression toward the girl.
"But i have a purpose right now that i wanted to run away from all those years ago. You showed me what my purpose was i was just scared what role i was selected for in life. But I had someone who cared for me like their own daughter despite barely getting to know my parents"haru continued as raven clenched her fist letting a few tears escape her eyes as they slid down her cheeks
"I'm…i…you were like another daughter…i'm sure if you didn;t have this disease you could've been"raven said trying not to cry
"I'd like that…but you let me choose my own path. The tribe life was hard at first but…I quickly adapted to it. And now I have a choice to make"haru stated as raven looked at her waiting for her to finished. Haru smiled as a small pink glowing butterfly appeared by her as it landed onto raven shoulder.
"I'm giving you the spring maiden powers…guard them well. And thank you for everything"haru thanked as raven stood their letting tears stream down her face. While haru smiled as a bright light shined engulfing the two.
Opening her eyes in real life soon she felt something cold in her hands as she glanced at haru who had her eyes closed smiling as she passed on peacefully. Soon they had the funeral right after as in their tribe they did something that most of their tribe requested. To have their ashes spreaded to the highest peak or buried on their favorite spot in the anima. For her it was a lone cherry blossom tree close to the camp as they did a small eulogy for haru as some wept for the girl who just passed. But soon they retired for the night as they had a plan
It was a new morning already as everyone was getting prepared for something that becuase raven rounded up who she can to fight for havan. As some tribe warriors where getting prepared for a march as most of them were at the cackling gull.
"So i take it i'm incharge sis while you check up on our dumb brother"synin asked as raven nodded
"You are but i'll need someone else to lead the charge for our troops for havan. We need to get their asap"raven replied
"Who would that be?"mai aksed before the tribe leader stepped forward to her before placing a hand on her making the girl eye her.
"That would be you dear. I know your going to say your not a leader but…during that assault on vernal camp you lead the charge like a true leader. And your mother would agree with me as well…you will lead the charge for our warriors to havan"raven annouced she just stared at her teary eyed before lunging for a hug as she accepted it
"I'll…i'll do my best auntie…i'll make you and my mom proud"mai cried in joy as close by liliu and falk where finishing up repairs on the ship as the women whipped her hands down with a rag.
"Alright ships fueld up and repaired enough to make it to argus. If you want to travel any farther i suggest getting some parts to fix it up"she suggested
"I'll do that but….you should tell your wife and kids about your husband"falk said making her freeze for a moment as she eyed amara who was with jay as the two were saying their goodbyes since he was joining them on the march
"N-no….i can't tell them…t-they'll be heartbroken…they'll hate m–"she was stopped
"They'll hate you alot more if you keep hidding it. Go tell them what happened to him…and it'll take time for it too heal. But their are people here to help you heal don't bottle it up because i've seen it and experienced it. I know it hurts"falk wisley said as she thought for a moment sighing walking over as he watched her talking with the two. Then amara covered her mouth before lunging at her wife hugging her as jay joined in the embrace as he knew she did it. Lazuli was next to him watching.
"Shame what happened to him…hope they can manage…hope auntie doing alright"she sadly said holding her necklace close
"It will be….I know it hurts to lose a father. But it'll be fine i'm sure their are people helping your aunt through her grief"adam said making her smile hearing that as they all soon boared the ship as joining them was emerald, bashira, weiss, yang, raven along with dravan and his family. As eria saw the ramp slowly closing as she was on on her way home right now to see her parents. She didn't find her sister but someone alot better all she hoped for is that she alive and that onxyia is doing arlight. That she'll find them and become their team leader for zane.
It seems ozpin has been revealed to the group along with raven claiming the other half of the maiden powers needed for havan vault. Along with that their on their way to argus to hopefully get their on time. Thanks for reading
