Loud house reaction to Pokémon legend.

Greetings everyone, I had this thought on how the characters from the loud house and casagrandes would react to what it would be like if Pokémon was in their lives. And yes, the louds will get scolded for a while for their actions especially Lori, Lynn, and Lola.

Episode 12

Pewter city (part 2)

Pokémon center hotel room,

Lincoln was sound asleep until Pikachu came to wake him up with no process.

"Come on Lincoln, wake up," Pikachu said."

"Five more minutes mom," Lincoln said in his sleep."

Everyone especially Rita giggled.

"You always say that," Rita said."

Pikachu looked annoyed.

"Ok you ask for it, thunderbolt," Pikachu yelled zapping Lincoln."

"Ahhhhhh!" Lincoln yelled falling on the floor." (gets up with spiky hair) what was that for?"

"That's a good look for you Lincoln," Leni said."

"Talk about a shocking wakeup call (Laughs) Get it?" Luan asked."

Some groaned while some laughed.

"Because it's time for our battle dummy," Pikachu replied."

"Oh right, better get ready," Lincoln said getting up and getting dressed."

Lincoln meets up with misty in the lobby.

"Ok how do intend to strategize for your battle?" misty asked."

"Well, I know rock Pokémon have great defensive power, but they lack speed, so I should use my Pokémon for speed and break their defenses," Lincoln replied."

"Smart move," misty said."

"Definitely, using speed against them is a good idea," Lisa said."

"Indeed, it is," flint said as he walked up to the two trainers." if you want to Lincoln, you can check out the pewter city museum before or after your battle."

"there's a museum?" Lincoln asked surprised."

"You're that surprised?" Liam asked."

"Of course," flint said." it was mentioned."

"Alright. lead the way, flint," Lincoln said as he, flint and misty exited the Pokémon center."

later, in the middle of pewter city, the three of them arrived in front of a building that had the museum sign on top.

"We're here, flint said." I'll leave you to enjoy."

flint takes his leave.

"Wow, thanks flint," Lincoln said getting a wave in response."

Lincoln and misty enter the building. inside, it looked amazing with Pokémon skeletons, fossils, stones, and a rocket.

"Whoa, this place looks amazing," Lincoln said."

"No kidding, Pokémon have been around for millions of years," misty said."

'Wow, even along with the dinosaurs,' Lincoln thought.' Lisa will have a heart attack after hearing this.'

Lisa, David, and Carlos looked amazed seeing the museum.

"Indeed, I would brother unit," Lisa said."

"Amazing," David said."

"And the fact that they've been around for years along with the dinosaurs without them interacting," Carlos said."

"Hello there! (a man in a lab coat approached the two of them) I've never seen you two around here before, how can I be of assistance?" the man asked"

"Yes, my name is Lincoln loud, and I was wondering what you can tell me about these fossils," Lincoln replied."

"Of course," the scientist said showing Lincoln the fossils, one looked like a tetradactyl, and the other one looked like a giant mantis." this one is called an aerodactyl it's a rock and flying type and this is kabutops it's a rock and water type."

"Wait, a Pokémon that's both rock and water, that's weird," Lynn said."

Lincoln took pictures.

"Wait how can a Pokémon be both rock and water if water has the advantage?" Lincoln asked."

"That's a good question," Lynn sr. said."

"Simple, it gives trainers a hard time if they just focused on one type without focusing on the other as well," the scientist replied showing Lincoln a grey stone."

"This is a moon stone, some say it came from the moon itself while others say it came from mt moon because when you look at it it'll look like its pointing on the moon," the scientist said while Lincoln took a picture of the stone."

"That makes sense if trainers focused only on one type," Arturo said."

"And I've heard of moon rocks but not moon stones," Giggles said."

"Wow, these are awesome!" Lincoln said."

"Well, you should get ready to battle brock," misty advised."

"Oh, good point, better head to the Pokémon center to get everyone ready," Lincoln said heading to the center."

meanwhile, back at the outskirts of pewter city,

"That's all the rocks that're here! and still no sign of that stash the boss told us about!" jessie grumbled."

she and her cohorts had escaped the viridian forest earlier in the day, and had received a call from Giovanni, telling them about a stash of treasure that were left on the outskirts of pewter city. they were tasked with finding it and bringing it back to HQ.

"We searched everywhere the boss told us to look. these are the exact coordinates he told us," James said looking at a tablet device."

"I hate to say it, but maybe someone already got to the goods before we did?" meowth theorized."

"Does that mean the rock I found belong to team rocket?" Lincoln said."

"Looks like it," Clyde replied."

"Hey, you didn't know," Kara said."

"Tsk, you may be right, meowth. we'd better call it in," jessie said as she took out her communicator, calling team rocket headquarters." this is operative jessie, calling in from pewter city."

"10-4, operative. what is your status on the mission?" a voice asked from the other side of the line."

"Unfortunately, it looks like someone already got to the stash before we could," jessie replied."

"Oh dear, Giovanni isn't going to like that. well, in any case, you my return to your previous mission of monitoring the American," the voice said."

"Roger that," jessie replied hanging up." well, we have our orders to resume our monitoring mission on that brat."

"Figures. well, we can at least go take care of our wonder trading?" James asked."

"Indeed. hopefully we'll get some worthwhile Pokémon to help ekans and koffing," jessie replied as they made their way down into pewter city."

"They're definitely getting a pay cut," Lola said."

"Yup," Carl said."

"Wait, I just thought o' something! the people down there may not let us use the wonder trade machine!" meowth exclaimed."

"He's right. we're criminals after all," James added."

"Well, then its lucky for us we found the balloon, and our disguise kit," jessie said smirking evilly."

"I bet their disguises are horrible," Miguel said."

at the pewter gym,

Lincoln and friends were standing before the rock type gym.

"Well, this is it, Lincoln. you ready for your first gym battle?" misty asked."

"Yes. I have everything planned out, so I'm good to go," Lincoln replied as they approached the gym doors." I challenge you to battle!"

"And I accept!" brock's voice echoed as the doors opened revealing a rocky battlefield, with the tall young man standing at the opposite end of the gym." so, you're ready for your first gym battle?"

"It's like they're in a cave," Lucy said."

"Lucky, Dante said."

"That's right! and this'll be my first gym battle since I started as a trainer!" Lincoln replied."

"I see. in that case, let's get this battle started," brock said as he and Lincoln took their spots on the opposing ends of the battlefield. misty and Pikachu took to the stands, while brock's siblings from yesterday all filled in." Forrest, care to do the honors?"

"It would be my pleasure!" Forrest replied taking his spot in the judge's box." the gym battle between brock from pewter city gym leader, and Lincoln loud of royal woods, Michigan will now commence! both trainers may use only use two Pokémon. the battle will continue until both Pokémon are unable to battle. no substitutions may not be by either side during the match! now then, if both trainers will bring out their first Pokémon?"

"Here's my choice!" brock said as he set out Onix a rock snake Pokémon."

Everyone shrieked seeing Onix.

"What is that, a rock snake?!" Kotaro asked."

"Yeah, it's cool," Lana said."

"Alright, as for me here's mine, pidgeotto!" Lincoln said sending out the bird Pokémon."

"Ok, pidgeotto vs Onix. battle begin!" Forrest declared."

"You got this Pigeotto!" Lynn said."

"You can have the first move," brock offered."

"Thanks! pidgeotto use steal wing!" Lincoln instructed."

"Alright!" pigeotto said as she swooped down at Onix, smacking it with metallic wings, causing a lot of damage."

"Yeah, that's how you do it!" Margo said."

"Stay strong Onix! use stealth rock!" brock instructed."

Onix fired off stealth rock, laying a trap.

"Heh, I had a feeling you lay a trap. pidgeotto, use whirlwind to blow away those rocks!" Lincoln instructed."

"These pebbles? easy peasy!" pidegotto proclaimed, as she flapped her wings, creating a powerful wind that managed to send Onix back to its pokeball replacing it with a geodude a rock type with a face and arms."

"Nice move," Paula said."

"But what is that Pokémon?" Polly asked."

'What kind of Pokémon is that?' Lincoln thought, while taking out his pokedex and pointing a geodude.'

"Geodude, the rock Pokémon a rock and ground type. geodude normally found on mountain trails and caves. if you step on it, even by accident, it'll get angry," the pokedex explained."

"That's what it's called?" Sully asked."

"Yup," Mazzy replied."

"Ok, at least stealth rock is gone...,"Lincoln said." (he suddenly saw the stealth rock was still there, having not budge an inch) "wait what?"

"They're still there?!" CJ asked."

"Sorry to disappoint you but stealth rock can only be nullified by defog or rapid spin," brock explained."

"Dang it," Bobby said."

"Dang it. well, there goes that plan. at least geodude isn't intimating as Onix. pidgeotto, I know you would've wanted to face Onix, but do you think you can handle geodude?" Lincoln asked."

"Of course, I can! I am not a weakling! true, it's not Onix, but I can work with geodude," pidgeotto boasted."

"Ok then, use quick attack!" Lincoln instructed."

"You got it!" pidgeotto replied as she sped right into geodude."

the attack damaged and knocked back the rock Pokémon but not by much.

"That's one tough rock," Tabby said."

"You're really a rookie if you're calling a normal type attack on a rock type like geodude," brock said."

"Hey, I'm still new to this," Lincoln retorted."

"Yeah, I bet all rookies go through this," Lynn said."

"Fair enough. geodude, use defense curl, then into rollout!" brock instructed."

geodude then curled into a ball, strengthening its defenses, before rolling at pidgeotto at high velocity.

"Talk about fast," Sam said."

"Quick, dodge it, pidgeotto!" Lincoln instructed."

pidgeotto moved out of the way fast dodging geodude.

"Clever, but geodude will keep going until it makes contact," brock said as geodude used another rock to propel itself up at pidgeotto, who dodged once again."

"Ha! you suck at this! Pidgeotto taunted as geodude tried again, only to miss again." not that time either! and again, another miss, nope! and again, another miss, are you even trying?"

"Yeah, since she can fly," Lynn said."

"It looks like your pidgeotto is making fun of us," brock commented."

"Uh, yeah, she kind of is," Lincoln replied scratching the back of his head."

brock didn't say anything, but the look of irritation on his face said more than enough, as geodude was spent from using and failing to strike with rollout.

"Oh man, I'm beat. I bet you think it's funny, don't you, you overgrown chicken?!" geodude questioned."

"Oh yeah, this is a riot!" pidgeotto laughed."

"She definitely is like you Lynn," Margo said."

Lynn couldn't argue.

"Cocky birdbrain," geodude said."

"Alright pidgeotto, let's give steel wing another go!" Lincoln said."

"With pleasure!" pidgeotto replied as she swooped down and struck geodude with her metallic wings."

"Now, let's have another go with steel wings!" Lincoln instructed."

pidgeotto circled around and swooped down at geodude again with steel wing.

"Brace yourself geodude!" brock called out."

geodude was about to dodge, but he was to slow, as he was struck with steel wing, sending him into a stalagmite. this time, geodude wasn't able to get back up.

"Geodude is unable to battle, the winner is pidgeotto!" Forrest declared sounding disappointed by the outcome."

"Alright she won the first round!" Lynn said."

"But that was round one," Francisco said."

brock recalled geodude.

"You did great, geodude. take a good rest," brock said as he got out his next pokeball, which Lincoln knew it contained Onix." go, Onix!"

he sent out his Onix, who roared loudly.

"Steel wing might not be enough to take down Onix, so we'll need to use speed in this battle," Lincoln muttered to himself."

"Alright Onix, use rock throw!" brock instructed."

Onix slammed its tail against the battlefield, sending rocks flying at pidgeotto.

"Uh oh," Lily said."

"pidgeotto dodge it!" Lincoln instructed."

pidgeotto wasted no time evading the swarm of rocks being thrown at it, since rock type moves are super effective against flying types like pidgeotto.

"We need to make sure Onix can't hit us. pidgeotto use your super, secret special attack!" Lincoln instructed knowing it was sand attack."

"You got it! eat dirt, you overgrown worm!" pidgeotto exclaimed as she kicked up her sand attack, sending it right into Onix's eyes."

Onix began to struggle trying to get the sand out of its eyes.

"Nice, using sand attack gives you an advantage," Rusty said."

"Hey, that's cheating! throwing sand into Onix's eyes like that!" one of brock's younger siblings called out."

"It's a perfect legitimate move, you little shit!" pidgeotto snapped."

"Yeah, it's not cheating," Carl said."

"And that Pokémon needs to watch her mouth," Myrtle said."

"Watch your language, bird! there are children present!" Onix roared glaring at pidgeotto in irritation."

"What's the big deal? they can't understand me anyway!" pidgeotto snarked back at Onix."

"And that's supposed to make swearing acceptable?!" Onix asked."

"Pidgeotto does make a good point," Lola said."

"That doesn't matter, she shouldn't say words like that," Rita said."

(Looking at the Pokémon arguing) "Uh, is it me, or does it look like our Pokémon are arguing with each other?" Brock asked."

"You're right about that. my pidgeotto kind of has a swearing problem," Lincoln replied."

"That's one way to put it," Sharon said."

"I see. well, in that case, Onix teach that pidgeotto a lesson about using bad language around small children! use rock throw!" brock instructed."

Onix once again fired off rock throw, but with the sand in its eyes, the rocks only flew around pidgeotto, some of them striking the pipes up above.

"Aw geez, that's going to come out of my gym leader salary for sure," brock groaned."

"I wonder how much," Hector said."

"Sorry brock, but the sand in my eyes, it's hard to aim," Onix said."

"Ha! man, you suck!" pidgeotto mocked before turning to Lincoln." hey, cool if I show off a new move I picked up after kicking that geodude's ass?"

"A new move? well, if you're sure it can help, then go for it," Lincoln replied."

"A new move, I wonder what it is," Paula said."

"Awesome! watch and be amazed! brave bird!" pidgeotto yelled as she flew towards Onix turning into a blue flame hitting Onix sending it back a few feet."

"Whoa, that was awesome! what was that move?" Lincoln questioned pulling out his pokedex."

"Information: brave bird: a flying type move. the user charges at its target at full speed while ingulfed in flames. the side effect of this move is that it damages the user as well, the pokedex explained."

"That's an awesome move!" Lynn said." but the downside it hurts the user."

"I think that move should be a last resort," Francisco said."

Lincoln noticed that pidgeotto looked injured.

"Not good, mental note use this as a last resort," Lincoln muttered."

"See," Francisco said."

brock noticed pidgeotto's state.

"This is our chance. Onix, use smack down, directly in front of you!" brock instructed."

Onix fired a smaller rock at pidgeotto, who was too tired to move.

"Pidgeotto, dodge!" he's...," Lincoln couldn't even finish his sentence as pidgeotto was hit with the rock, sending her down to the ground, sending another rock attack your way hitting pidgeotto."

"About time I got a hit in!" Onix chuckled."

"And that takes care of pidgeotto's ariel maneuvers," brock said."

"Dang, she got taken down," Stella said."

"Say what now?" Lincoln asked before consulting his pokedex."

"Information: smack down: a rock type move in which the user hurls a rock projectile at the opponent. if a flying Pokémon is hit with this attack, it'll fall to the ground," his pokedex explained."

Lincoln looked a pidgeotto trying to get up.

"It's clear that pidgeotto won't be able to hammer out any more attacks. I suggest you forfeit this round to us before any serious harm comes to your Pokémon," brock advised."

"He might as well, she can't take another it," Margo said."

"Don't you dare! I can still fight!" pidgeotto yelled trying to fly but doesn't have the strength."

after seeing pidgeotto suddenly turn into a vision of Lynn with no other options, Lincoln relented.

"I forfeit the first round," Lincoln said."

Lynn sees herself as Pigeotto.

"Lincoln made the right choice," she said."

Everyone was surprised hearing her say that.

Pidgeotto got upset and started jumping and pecking at him.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow," Lincoln said."

"What the hell dud?! I told you I can keep going!" Pigeotto yelled angry that her trainer took her out of battle."

"Hey, knock it off! I don't want to see you getting hurt anymore!" Lincoln retorted trying to block his bird Pokémon's pecking."

pidgeotto did stop attacking him, surprised by his compassion, but was still sore about the forfeit.

"Yeah, he knows when to stop the battle," Leni said."

"And not wanting to see his Pokémon hurt too much," Jackie said."

"Eh, whatever. just return me to my ball," pidgeotto grumbled in a sulking manner."

Lincoln did so.

"I can tell she's grateful but doesn't want to show it," Paula said." Just the problem with pride."

The sisters mostly Lynn winced.

'She really is like Lynn,' Lincoln thought as he swapped out pidgeotto's ball with poliwag's." alright poliwag, you're up!"

He sends out the little tadpole Pokémon, who upon materializing on the battlefield, looked up at Lincoln.

"Hi Mr. Lincoln! is there something you want me to do?" poliwag asked only to get struck by the stealth rocks from before," ow! who left these rocks floating here?"

"So, that's what stealth rock does," David said." Impressive."

"Sorry about that, poliwag, but there's something I want you to do for me and it involves this battle," Lincoln replied."

"Sure! what am I... (poliwag cut himself off when he saw the towering rock Pokémon above him) AAAAHH!" he yelled as he hid behind Lincoln's leg."

"Wow, what a chicken," Carl said."

"Can you blame him, it's his first gym battle," Carlota said."

"Is your Pokémon alright?" brock asked."

"Yeah, he's still young, and I think Onix is the largest Pokémon he's ever seen," Lincoln replied as he knelt down to talk to poliwag." hey, if you don't want to battle, I won't force you. I can just use fearow."

He offered to the tadpole Pokémon, who got over his fear of the large Onix.

"N-no, I'm alright now. I don't want Ms. fearow to take over just because I'm scared," poliwag replied nervously looking back up at Onix." though, that is big and scary looking."

"Such a brave Pokémon," Lynn sr. said."

"I know what you mean. when I saw that thing, I was a little rattle too. but I know you can take it, especially with me by your side," Lincoln replied."

"You really think I can win?" poliwag asked."

"I know so. this your time to shine, poliwag. plus, as a bonus, you'll grow more if you battle it. besides, pidgeotto kind of softened him up for you," Lincoln replied."

"That's true," Shane said."

"Well, if you say so, then I'll give it a try," poliwag said as he went back to the battlefield, still shaken at how much larger Onix was compared to him."

"I can tell you're a compassionate trainer to your Pokémon. most trainers I've seen often send out different Pokémon even if the one they sent out don't want to battle," brock observed."

"Let's just say it's an experience with helping kids feeling scared," Lincoln replied remembering how he comforted Lana and Lola during the blackout."

"So, trainers even force Pokémon to fight even if they don't want to? that so mean," Leni said."

"Totes," Jackie said."

Everyone especially the twins smiled at that memory.

"What was that memory about?" Lance asked."

Lincoln explains the event in left in the dark.

"Wait, so you used our likings to distract us so you can watch your show?!" Lori asked."

"Yeah, because you guys would fight over the TV all the time," Lincoln said."

The sisters get mad.

"Well, you were the one who caused the black out," Lola said."

"I was hooking up dad's old TV in Lucy's room," Lincoln said." how was I supposed to know it would cause a black out?"

"That's true, and he did comfort the twins after hearing something in the basement," Lynn sr. said."

The sisters felt bad.

"Heh, looks like you and I have something in common then. but regardless, we have a battle to finish! Onix, rock tomb!" brock instructed."

"What they have in common is that they look after their siblings," Lance said."

The adult's nod.

Onix fired another rock tomb, sending the boulders at poliwag.

"Alright poliwag, use protect!" Lincoln instructed."

"On it! poliwag said as a green barrier formed around him, blocking the rock tomb."

"Alright, he's safe," Lana said."

"Now, let's follow that up with a water gun!" Lincoln added."

poliwag then fired off water gun with its eyes closed, with luck it strikes Onix's body, causing it to bellow out in pain.

"Direct hit despite his eyes closed," Kayla said."

"Onix, use tackle where the water gun is coming from!" brock instructed."

Onix shook off the water gun, and slammed right into poliwag, sending the tadpole Pokémon into stalagmite.

"Ok that hurt," poliwag groaned trying to stay standing."

"That really hurt," Ashley said."

"Are you alright, polwag?" Lincoln asked."

"Yeah, but I don't think I can handle another attack like that," poliwag replied."

"That means we got to finish this battle as fast as we can, Lincoln said."

"I agree," Kristen said."

"It would be best to forfeit, because it looks like your Pokémon reached its limit," brock advised."

but Lincoln didn't even get to share his thoughts when poliwag piped up.

"Don't back out now, Mr. Lincoln! we can still win this!" Poliwag said."

"You sure you want to keep going? Lincoln asked."

"Yes, I am. I want to help you win this battle even in the condition I'm in now!" Poliwag replied."

"I admire his fighting spirit," Lynn said."

"Well, if you say so," Lincoln said as looked up at brock." poliwag wants to keep going, so the battle is still on, brock!"

"Suit yourself. Onix, lets finish this quickly with...," Brock said until a drop of water cut brock off, as he looked up in confusion." water? but where did this...?"

the damaged pipe answered his question, as it burst open, spraying everywhere. everyone began to complain about being wet, while Onix bellowed in discomfort.

"I guess Brock helped out," Skippy said."

"I agree," Adelaide said."

"Why's everyone bent out of shape? this feels just like home!" poliwag chirped as he was enjoying the water."

"Yeah, to him," Shiloh said."

that's when Lincoln thought of some with the water looking like rain.

"Poliwag use water gun again full power!" Lincoln instructed."

"Ok! I'm not going to let Mr. Lincoln down," poliwag said as he thought he was charging up for a water gun until it turned into a ball of water, and fired at Onix, striking with tremendous force, causing it to fall to the ground."

Forrest went over to inspect Onix, only to find it unconscious.

Everyone was surprised after seeing that.

"What the heck was that?!" Carl said."

"No idea," Punguari said."

"Onix is unable to battle, poliwag is the winner! therefore, the match goes to the challenger, Lincoln loud!" Forrest said sounding a bit disappointed at the outcome."

"We won?! Lincoln asked ecstatically."

"Indeed. you raised some pretty great Pokémon, especially for someone who's just starting out. so, it's my honor to present you with your boulder badge, as well as the TM for the move rock tomb," brock replied as he presented Lincoln with the badge and the USB stick."

Everyone cheered.

"He won! Lincoln won!" Clyde said."

"Isn't that great, poliwag? we won!" Lincoln said."

"Don't forget Ms. pidgeotto! she helped out too!" poliwag replied."

"Ah, that's right!" Lincoln exclaimed as he sent out pidgeotto."

"What's going on out here? did we win?" Pigeotto asked curiously."

(flashed the boulder badge) "see for yourself, Lincoln replied."

"Haha! I knew I was the right bird for this job!" pidgeotto proudly stated as she began to do a victory dance, and a very bad one."

"She was right, and she can celebrate," Lynn said."

Lincoln turned to brock.

"Thanks for the battle, brock. but I must say poliwag's water gun really got a power boost, but it felt a little easy. no offence," Lincoln said."

"Don't worry about it. it's all part of the gym badge system and that move wasn't a boosted water gun it was the move water pulse," brock explained."

"Water pulse, badge system? I don't get it," Lincoln said."

"Say what now?" Lynn sr. asked."

"First, gym leaders are able to take on challengers to make it as challenging as possible. the team you battled was for rookie trainers just starting out. as for water pulse is a special water type move water Pokémon can use, but seeing your poliwag already has it, poliwag will be a lot stronger with enough training," brock explained."

"Oh, that makes sense," Lynn sr. said."

"I see. so, I need to choose my team carefully as I challenge more gyms," Lincoln said."

"Precisely. so, where do you plan to head to now?" Brock asked."

"Truth be told, I have no idea," Lincoln replied."

"How about the next gym," Lynn said."

"Well, there's a gym in cerulean city. it's just on the other side of mount moon," brock said."

"Cerulean city, huh? then I guess that's where I'm going to go next," Lincoln said remembering misty talking about cerulean city."

"You know, I envy you, Lincoln. you're pretty lucky," brock said."

"What do you mean? I hope you're not implying that I won because of luck," Lincoln asked with a hint of irritation in his voice."

"Yeah, he better not," Rita said."

"No, nothing like that. I mean that you can travel all over kanto, following your goal of trying to win the Pokémon league. if it weren't for the fact that I need to stay here and take care of my brothers and sisters, I would love to travel the world, trying to become the world's Pokémon breeder. I honestly get more joy from raising Pokémon, rather than battling with them," brock explained."

"That's a nice dream," Frida cried."

"Then you should go out and chase that dream," the gravelly voice of flint said as he and a woman with curly brown hair entered named Lola the gym."

flint took off his hat, and his beard, revealing him to look exactly like brock.

"Whoa, he looks like Brock but older," Dana said."

"Flint? and who's the woman behind you?" Lincoln asked."

"They're my parents," brock replied coldly, causing his parents to flinch."

Everyone was surprised.

'Talk about family resemblance,' Lincoln thought.'

"Brock, we understand you're upset with us abandoning you and your siblings to chase our dreams of attaining the championship in the Pokémon league, but now we want to make things right," flint replied."

"Please, brock, just give us a chance to make things right with you and your brothers and sisters," Lola pleaded."

"They did what?!" the parents yelled."

"They abandoned their kids to chase their dreams," Leni said."

"No wonder Brock's angry with them," Becky said."

brock was still unsure.

"Hmm, what do you think, Lincoln?" brock asked."

Lincoln thinks for a bit.

"I'd say you should hear them out. professor oak told that holding grudges won't solve anything and it's better to let go of those grudges, even if it takes little time," Lincoln replied remembering that he promised the professor to talk things over with at least Lisa, lucy, and/or his parents."

"That's a good idea and advice," Rosa said."

brock took a moment to think over, before he came to a conclusion.

(Checks out brock's mom) 'brock's mom looks like she can have more kids with her figure, I can tell mom would be jealous if they ever meet, Lincoln thought.'

"I guess I would be seeing her," Rita said." (thinking) 'I am envious of her figure.'

"She must've worked out a lot," Maria said."

"Very well. I'll give them one last chance to be proper parents to us. I'll meet up with you guys at the Pokémon center. I need to go over some things with my parents," brock said."

"Got it. we'll see you over there," Lincoln said as he, Pikachu and misty left the gym."

later, at the Pokémon center,

having dropped off both pidgeotto and poliwag with nurse joy, Lincoln slumped down in one of the lobby chairs.

"Man, what a day Pikachu. we manage to win our very first gym badge, and we have a plan on where to go next." Lincoln said eyeing the boulder badge, as it was now sitting in his badge case."

"And don't forget, beedrill, butterfree and I want in on the next gym battle," Pikachu declared."

"Right, just as soon as we make it over mount moon and to cerulean city, it'll be your guy's time to shine," Lincoln said."

"Yeah, I can't wait to see them fight," Lana said."

his thoughts then went back to his two sisters and parents.

"Something wrong?" Pikachu asked noticing the uneasy look on his trainer's face."

"I was just thinking about what I said to brock, about letting go of grudges. and I was thinking that it may be time for me to call home," Lincoln replied."

"It does seem a bit hypocritical of you to say all that stuff and keep having a vendetta against your family. so, I take it you're going to call them?" Pikachu asked."

"That's the plan, but I'm worried that things will go sour," Lincoln replied."

"Well, would it help if I was with you?" Pikachu offered."

"Yeah, I would like that. thanks buddy," Lincoln said as he got up, and went to the video phones," let's get this over with."

"He's calling home, I'm so glad," Lucy said."

"Let's hope it goes well," Lisa said."

That's chapter 12, next will Lisa and lucy earn back his trust, we'll wait and see. I also decided to give pidgeotto brave bird because have Lincoln learn when it's time to use it. I'll save the battle club for later. I'll continue after Christmas.
