Chapter 70:Gifts That Are unwanted
Over in mari house right now it was a quiet and relaxing even right now. Mainly because mari was given the day off right now doing one thing talking with her other niece. As right now joining them was bastet bringing her daughter lavi along with miyuki.
She will be staying with them since the women had one spar bedroom. Though that was given to fenix along with his family. Since they needed a place to stay and the belladonna hose was out of the question. She decided to take the couch but actually summer who still staying with them opted for it. Along with nacw who is sleeping on the floor which she didn't mind one bit.
But right now they were just talking as sitting on eden lap right now was her little sister who was all smiles right now.
"eden,eden, eden"piper kept saying over and over again with the brightest smile.
Mari chuckled slightly"yes that right sweetie. Its your big sister i understand your happy right now"she said with a smile herself.
Eden chuckled slightly"you don't know the half of it. Seriously..i've…i've missed her…along with you auntie"she said slightly teared eyed.

"Yes though i still can't believe what happened last night. I thought they'd accept my friend son like they did with my niece"mari said gesturing to piper.
Eden chuckled slightly picking her little sister up presenting her"who could be scared of this cute whittle face."she said as piper was smiling with a big grin as it melted the woman's heart away seeing this. "I know last night was…terrible. Seriously i understand everyone scared but right now this is an easy solution to fix."miyuki voiced her opinion
"Your not wrong about that i've ran into those other knights of grimm for the last ten years actually."summer suddenly said to their shock right now as they stared at her for a moment as bastet tapped her chin for a moment.
"Oh so those dossiers that we received are partial useful. Maybe that can clear our troubles up right now"bastet replied sipping her tea but summer choked on her as mari stared at her weird for a moment. Their wasn't anything like that from early.

Naca smacked her face"oh my…we forgot about the stupid dossier, maps and syringes that guy was carrying!"she shouted in annoyance as they all felt very stupid right now recalling this.
"Your right oh this is very troublesome. Maybe if everyone wasn't arguing last night we could have shown them last night. Then maybe things might have been cleared up and no one would be fighting"bastat said upset standing up walking around. As summer sat their surprised they have this information but eyed miyuki for a moment recalling what she saw yesterday.

"We kinda do..miss goodwitch told me to be very weary of those i trust. Though most of the group that came with us are trustworthy"miyuki replied
"I can see that since you seem to trust a grimm hybrid even. Which is something i need to question you later on. But i want to offer something"summer explained peeking their interest as naca kept guard still.
"That would be what?"naca questioned as summer gave a small smirk.
"Teaching you how to control your powers. Because you seem to understand them fully but their is alot more to them than meets the eye"summer offered to miyuki interest immediately since she has such a big responsibility.
"Deal, but you need to help us clear up this misunderstanding between everyone."miyuki said offering a hand to summer who nodded taking her hand sealing their deal as they quickly went their separate ways. But the women knew one thing that ozpin always had a plan for everyone.
An hour later over at the belladonna household right going through the halls of the home right now was kali. Along with joining her on this little trip was jazmine who was in a pair of crutches right now. Since they kept them along with zoey as the three were discussing something rational right now.
"Seriously sis is such a fricking jerk. Taking my leg thinking she protecting me…fat chance"jazmine grumbled loudly.
"I know what you mean at least you two are talking sense at least. "Zoey replied actually happy these two want to try and resolve things.
Kali sighed rubbing her eyes"yes i understand that we should lock him up for everyone safety, i do think he is dangerous"she replied before puaisng fixing her posture slightly.
"But me and my husband also know their is an alternative to everything. I know it didn't sound pleasant but it's all we could come up with on the fly right now. The faunus here did loose people during that tragic day"she added
The fox sighed understanding that they know their was no other way but after everything her family did for theirs. It made her anger because they were all so quick to take her little brother away after grieving for him for a while month again. "She talks about how much she misses him and how she wishes he was still alive. He comes back….and the first thing she does is treat him like dirt. I expected that…but…seriously to treat something she gifted to her. Like dirt..it hurts"she continued with tears starting to slip.
"Right now i'm hoping that those twins don't act like this if we ever see them again. If they even find him"zoey cried slightly choking on her words as kali wrapped an arm around her patting her back to console her.
"It'll be alright dear, we'll try to fix things but without evidence it makes things very troublesome. Though i need to clean the room your brother was in last night. Do you mind helping me dear?"kali asked as they reached a door that he stayed in last night.

As zoey was making the bed with kali help as they were on opposite side pulling the sheets over. While they did zoey checked for anything their her brother left but nothing not even his necklace was here. Something she hoped to find and fix for him.
But as they were fixing up the room kali hummed slightly before glancing to where her daughter was sitting but had a confused look which jazmine noticed titling her head at her.
"What..do i have something on my face?"jazmine questioned as kali shook her head.
"Umm dear look whats on the desk behind you?"kali advised as the panther turned around before going wide eyed at what layed before her. That being six folders with the words theta, sigma, zeta, tau, alpha and gamma. Their also sat a pair of dual pistols in their holster with a set of kodachi blades. Along with equinox neatly placed on top with a giant rolled up map on the table. Their also sat three metal cases and finally a note folded up sat in the center of it with a skull balaclava mask in the center.
Zoey looked over going wide eyed at what she was seeing walking over seeing all of this shocked right now that he would even leave all this.
"What…what is all of this?"zoey asked shocked right now.
"I..i don't know…but theirs a note here do you think its from him?"jazmine asked as the fox quickly picked it up opening it. But as she began to read it she had tears starting to well up not from sadness but with a mix of rage included as she growled right now because their relationship with the belladonna might be soured even more.
"Get everyone over here right now….get your dam daughter back to the house now"zoey demanded with anger as kali decided to gather the things with zoey help. As she also decided to maybe bring ghria and sienna up to speed on what they might have found.
But right now about two hours later was blake who was having a tough time right now. Because she was at the guard station trying to come up with an idea to bring the faunus together for the attack on havan. But now all of them are wanting to avoid fighting right now with a grimm knight being on their island. She been trying to convince thm to join up to stop the attack from the white fang.
To no avail as all the faunus here were afraid along with wanting vengeance for what happened to their family that they lost because of him. With him coming heres hes ruined everything they've worked hard for in the last two weeks for and she was pissed off.
With her was akasha, ilia and surprisingly sun who joined her trying to help quill her worries right now. As the cat faunus held her head staring at the map of menagerie with an annoyed look.
"So everyone is pissed off. This is just great seriously i thought we'd all be getting along not be at each other throats"sun sarcasticall said making blake growl at him as he flinched slightly.
"Can you not joke right now. Because right everything is ruin…ruined!"blake shotued throwing things off the table as it crashed to the ground as she held her head for dear life.
Akasha sighed as her wings flapped slightly"okay for starters cat ears i'm very happy your alive"she started before placing a hand on her shoulder.
"But second seriously not everything is ruined just chill out. We stopped those guys and defeated another twleve knights of grimm"she added but blake glared at her.

Ilia crossed her arms under her bust"hey she right look i held my tongue about it since onxyia cared so deeply for him. That isn't the case because him being here has caused more problems"she coldy said making akasha glare at her before grabbing her girlfriend by the arm dragging her outside to talk.

As blake and company returned to the house which took a while until they arrived back at the house with a strange sight right now. That being her father sitting in a chair with his glasses on. As kali looked troubled slightly as sienna had a file in her hands confused. As jazmine looked very mad about something.
"Whoa what happened in here someone die or something?"sun asked

But also noticed the weapons and metal cases on the table confused
"What is all this? Where did you find all of this?"blake questioned
"She right that looks like a map of mistral with locations marked on it of havan"lila replied gesutring to the map on the table.
Kali sighed heavily"i was cleaning the rooms upstairs that was of which being the one your friend that got ran out of town was in"kali stated catching them slightly offgaurd as Blake sat down rolling her eyes.
"Okay so what? What is all of this attack plans or something on havan"blake codly asked receiving a look from her father which scared her actually. But before he could say anything the front door opened to the house as they turned to the see the blairs along with the taupes, nix and fenix who looked upset right now.
Declan was finishing rubbing it red and puffy eyes as he seemed to have been crying.
"Oh hey uncle what bring you here over here at this time of night. Let me guess…it was a perfect match"jazmine snarky asked making onxyia glared at her.
"Don't be rude seriously right now my dad and aunt family are hurt. So drop it"onxyia growled as her tail thrashed. But declan sighed walking in rubbing his eyes.
"Well…umm it was a match. It appears so that my old friend was alive and that sabyr knight actually it was a perfect match. We'll probably be having a funeral for him in the coming days soon."declan saldy explained with a very horased voice.
Nix thought noticed the items on the table confused"whats with all this crap on the table? Seriously you dig this out of a dumpster?"she questioned. This brought their cruisotiy but zoey lost it throwing the note down glaring at her.
"oh nothing! Nothing at all you ungrateful motherfuckers!"zoey shouted as her tail thrashed heavily. Saber then glared slightly crossing his arms.
"Kid calm down before i have to discipline–"he was stopped by her talking.
"Shut up! Because you all are so god dam ungrateful!"zoey cired with tears running down her face. But ilia noticed the one labeled tau reading it for a bit before going wide eyed at what she was reading.
"Oh my god….oh my god this is her"ilia announced as they all got a closer look seeing the files on the table. As nix eyed the one labeled zeta confused for a moment hesitantly picking it up as they stared at the chameleon faunus.
"Who the heck are you talking about right now?"sombra asked with her horased voice.
Fenix eyed the thing on the table scoffing"oh nothing that files is on subject tau also known as kiyo. The king tajtu knight. Along with subjects alpha, theta, sigma, gamma and finally….diego."he somberly said as nix knew what file that was picking it up flipping it open seeing a picture of her friend with a smug look but with bruises on his face with a swollen eye flipping someone off in his mugshot.
"Diego taupe also known as subject zeta. He was successfully capture with the help of conri gran and tyrian callows. Wait a minute these two are well known serial killers in remant"nix said in disblief right now as tears slipped away.

"That would be true…conri is a serial killer from long ago. I've ran into him and most of these grimm knights in the past."summer backed up to their shock as declan glared at her.

Nix continued reading it as she covered her eyes"those..those bastards fricking beat him until they broke his legs. "Screw you all and read the dam letter right now!"she deamdned with tears running down her face. Blake was close by picking it as she cleared her throat to read it.

Its not because i know i messed up, but since no one wants me here i won't cause problems anymore. Since everyone thinks of me as a monster and murderer..your right i'll just leave you island with the despardos. But i'm not soulless, the dossiers are on six of the knight of grimm, a map of havan of white fang cells with trifa and yuma help. For the weapons i don't care give that sword i made to or my ex teammate. Because effective immediately eria is our team leader since a monster can't fill the role. I'll leave to stop havan then head to atlas or…find someplace quiet to kill myself to make it easy for everyone"she finished reading the letter but others were shocked.
"What did you just say?"xander aksed shocked
Onxyia was shocked hearing that but didn't care how he was playing the pity act right now. As sun was very worried right now along with katherine being caught offguard by the mention of sucide so casually again. But zoey glared all of them.
"Are you all happy? Without even thinking about…you all instead wanted to murder my baby brother"zoey said with tears as she removed her armor throwing it to the ground as she wore a simple black longsleeve with blue jeans. Then she slammed her keys into saber chest.
"I'm done, i've served you loyally for seven years this is what i get in return. i'm using my vacation to find my little brother and i won't be coming back"zoey growled but not before glancing at aruna.

"And where do you think you're going?"she asked as jazmine glared at her trying to break free but she held it. Ghira just stood up walking over removing his eldest from holding her as jazmine rubbed her arm as he eyed her.
"Dear, why exactly are you leaving?"Ghira asked, but he knew exactly why.
"I'm leaving because she's right, you're all ungrateful, i'm staying at swirl place then i'm helping her find her cousin. Then i'll consider coming back i'll grab my things tommorrow morning"jazmine said reaching the front door to leave but blake pulled her arm.
"I'm not letting you make a stupid decision li–"she begun but her sister pushed her to the ground hard as blake looked at her. Jazmine just looked disgusted right now.
"Screw you! Last time i listened to you..i….i….i lost my leg. And i'm not making that same mistake again. Bye!"jazmine said as she slammed the door leaving with zoey. As blake just sat their hurt right now as tears began to stream down her face as she hugged herself that her own sister blames her for her lose of limp. Because she was right, but she just wants to protect her.
As they sat in silence for a moment aruna held her nose as blood gushed from it.
"Heyya auntie can you heal my nose after that psycho busted it"aruna asked

Onxyia scoffed"so what, oh he made some dumb sword i'm happy eria our team leader now"She said coldly earning a glare from her brother.

Blake rushed upstairs laying on her bed crying her eyes out missing her little sister. "But what about havan? Are we seriously not going to help?"may asked concerned right now.

"I'm not letting them use my favor for lil miss. They'll only get my help when they realize their mistake and fix this r–"she was stopped by the sound of someone knocking at her door. It confused them since it was pretty late at night as she walked over opening it revealing her daughter with a guest.
Zoey sniffed rubbing her eyes"can we come in"she asked as she nodded letting them in as neo was surprised to see jazmine here titling her head at her.
"What are you doing here?"vance growled before she put her hands up.
"Hold on fish boy. I'm not here to start trouble someone at least knows how to be grateful. And well…can i stay here?"jazmine asked as the houseowner thought for a moment sighing walking toward her room.
"You can…i'm heading to bed to cry my eyes out and not break something"she said with an upset tone returning to her room. The rest did the same thing as jazmine got changed into some pajamas as neo sat on her bed. As the panther just sat on the bed with a heartbroken look which neo noticed before wrapping an arm around her hugging her close as the two drifted to sleep for the night.
At the blair house right now declan retreated to his study to plan out the funeral for this week. While katherine and the rest where in the living room. As they sat their xander walked over to a sword rack placing equinox on a rack as onxyai growled.
She walked over ripping it off throwing it to the ground dirspsecting it again as xander kept picking it back up. This kept going on for a bit until she got very annoyed before snatching it tearing it off the wall before throwing it into a closet slamming the door.
"Stop putting that stupid sword on the wall you idiot!"onxyia shouted as her ears straighten out.
Xander had tears forming in his eyes"stop disperecitng it…seriously….your being rude. How can you not care about your leader?"he asked as his voice cracked as katherine wondered why he was so upset about how that sword was treat.
Onxyia scoffed"Eria is my leader which i'm happy about. He can be dead for all i care right now which i hope is the case. Vel an idiot for siding with them"she codly said to their shock as akahsa glared at her.
"Wolf ears you better stop before I knock you upside the head. Your brother is right to treat that thing with respect"akasha said to her confusion.
"Shut up aka seriously i'm not in the mood. If I see that stupid sword on the mantle again I'm breaking it '' Onxyia warned, stomping off to her room with each step. As xander just clenched his fist in rage as tears dripped down his face.
"Sweetie is everything alright…why is that sword so…"She was stopped as he ran off upstairs to his room with tears running down his face as he shut his door tight. Then katherine and ilia eyed akasha who looked trouble.
"Aka…i'm guessing that sword meant alot and…is that what you were going to tell me early?"she asked but the falcon shook her head.
"I was…look i'm very tried. If you wanna know more about it…ask him about it tomorrow. Alright"akasha softly said as katherine nodded as they returned to their rooms for the night.
But in onxyia she got changed into her pajamas before flopping onto her bed anger right now. She very glad that eria is their team new leader he can suffer for all she cares. As she thought about that part of her asked herself why is thinking that. But the wolf kept pushing that thought back because she just wanted a day without worrying about that idiot.
Later on in the night everyone on the island was sound asleep right now but right now for onxyia she kept tossing and turning in her bed for the night. While sleep alluaded her as she had a nightmare that night, probably something worse.
Dream
Onxyia found herself walking the streets of menagerie as it was night out right now as she just walked the streets being led by eria with rogue beside her with velvet holding her hand. As the four made their way through the streets of the island just enjoying themselves
"Can't believe were all together again its been so long"Rogue said with a smile
"Yes i've taken the mantle of leader pretty well"Eria codly said like always
Onxyia giggled slightly"yeah i'm happy you did better than a certain someone"She replied
"Well i'm happy where back together maybe even go on a date again"velvet sweetly said
But as they kept walking through the streets the lights flickered for a moment until they suddenly where replaced by several torches lining the confused her right now as she noticed the twins gone and her girlfriend from her sight right now which worried her.
Then she tried to call out to them but nothing happened as she opened her mouth as words weren't coming through which illuded her. She decided to search for the two as she ran through the streets of menagerie looking for any trace of them. But as she did she could hear faunus in the distance shouting for something.
"Kill the dam thing by hanging it by the gallows!"a distance voice shouted
"Burn it for all the people it killed a monster doesn't deserve pity!"another shout came as more comments like that came.
The wolf kept running for what seemed like minutes until she found something that just scared her for some reason. That being a crowd of anger faunus surrounding something with torches and weapons in their hands. As they were surroudning something as she was about to push through but they opened the path for her.
Following the path for a bit she soon found something troubling that being rogue cradling zane dead body with his neck snapped in half. As eria was sobbing standing over his corpse but turned to her direction glaring. With velvet sobbing over his corpse
"This all your fault!"she cried making her visible back up not finding the words to speak but rogue still held her partner bodie glaring at the wolf with daggers.
"You guys let him die like it was nothing! We're all teammates, we watch out for each other backs!""rogue cried at her
"Its all your fault! You couldn't just listen instead of letting your emotions control you"velvet cired as she found her voice soon
"Its..its not my fault he got what he…deserved"onxyia replied but glanced down at her hands seeing blood on them right now which scared her. Then she looked up seeing his corpse hanging from a tree being burned then she looked in her hands seeing the lever and torch in her hands.
"Awww wolfie feeling guilty for loving a monster…suffer you freak of a faunus"a dark voice said behind her as she turned to be met by a dark version of herself stabbing her in the throat as she opened her mouth to scream
Dream end
Onxyia shot up awake panting for air holding her chest right now feeling herself up for a bit seeing everything was their. But then calmed her heartbeat because she thought these nightmares stopped for a bit after zane and velvet came here. Their different now but why.
Though that nightmare was strange as she shook it off before getting dressed for today. As she made her way downstairs noticing it was morning already but once in the kitchen she noticed the current atmosphere. That being her father benign absent as her mother was fisnihing up making breakfast.
As xander was messing with his food with akasha mising from them as ilia remained. Katherien noticed her daughter.
"Oh morning sweetie you sleep alright?"she asked as xander eyed his sister with a glare which she noticed but ignored him.
"I slept okay…i take it dad preparing for the funeral for uncle?"onxyia asked as the women sighed nodding.
"He is, but sun texted me this morning thinking of consoling sombra right now. You should go check up on her or…"she paused slightly as she knew what she was going to suggest.
"I'm not helping search for him, like i said last night i'm standing by it"onxyia said but actually wanted to say something else. Xander scoffed heavily before placing his plate on the counter.
"I'm heading to the clinic since you asked for my help. Unlike my sister i know when to be kind"xander codly said to her shock right now as she stared at her food. It was an eerie silence for a bit until ilia broke it.
"I'm heading to check up on blake…good luck um checking on sombra if your doing that"ilia said taking her leave leaving the mother and daughter. As they sat their kahterine sighed as she turned the sink off staring at her daughter with a worried look.
"Sweetie…you should go help your fri–"She was stopped as onxyia slammed her hands down.
"I'm not helping them. They can keep searching for a fruitless effort…that thing isn't my leader anymore..and vel isn't my girlfirend"onxyia replied hesitating taking her leave as she left the house. As katherine felt hurt right because she just wants everyone to get along before things escalated like this.
It seems that blake own sister hates her guts now for how shes acting and now living with her girlfirned. While zoey quit her position as captain of the guard. But it seems they might have a chance against the fang though the nightmares are coming back for onxyia but their different now, why? Thanks for reading!
