Chapter 72: Schnee Siblings
Eria and her group raced through the streets of argus to a nearby clinic as they could. Bashira improvished a banaged for her neck but it stained in green liquid oozing from her neck as nancy carried her. Yang was panting heavily with sweat beating down her face.
"Dammit i can't believe she got posioned"falk said
"Your not wrong but seriously we gotta hurry. Girly here looking really pale"nancy reminded as yang skin was looking very pale from whatever was injected into her.
"how far are we from the clinic you know?"emerald asked as eria thought for a moment as they kept running. As they turned a corner she smiled.
"Where here"Eria declared as they arrived at a two story building that matched the rest of the city design. But it was in near an intersection of the city as the outside of it was colored purple. Along with their being a black rooftile with a sigh above it reading"Rhodes Clinic". But a nearby window showed a line of prosthetics legs and arms on display
The group rushed inside the clinic as at the front desk was a womne who is around 5'4 in her mid thirties. She had brown hair that was long with light blue eyes. She was wearing a black pencil skirt with black leggings to match while she wore a brown sweater over it with a cross pin on her right breast. Then she noticed the group shocked seeing some.
"What in the name of remnant-"She stopped immediately noticing the problem especially yang panting heavily with the bandaged on her neck.
"What happened?"she asked
"We were at the factory and got attack by someone, they injected venom into her neck."bashira replied. The women then nodded before guiding them to the back of the clinic. After some time they walked into the back room in the clinic that had a long hallway. But immedialty coming out of a room was a man.
He was around the women age with electric blue hair and a pair of green eyes. He currently wore a doctors outfit that is a white coat with a light blue dress shirt matched with tan jeans with simply black shoes. Though someone familiar was with him , that being whitley schnee.
Who was sporting a coat like the man now wearing a light icy blue longsleeve with dark blue pants with simply black shoes.
"Dear what the ru.."he was stopped before seeing yang current condition.
"Bring her in here and hurry"he ordered as they rushed inside as whitely didnn't seem to notice them. They brought yang into a room placing her down as the doctor examined the banagded seeing it removing it to relived the bite now having a red rash forming.
"It seems she been posioned with venom, alright whitley go get the case of antivenom"he ordered as the yung heir rushed to a nearby cabinet tearing through it pulling out a long box as he walked over setting it down opening it revealing several different bottles.
Eria was panicking slightly though falk glanced at whitley for a second but took a second glance going wide eyed
"Whitley!?"falk shouted startling him slightly before going wide eyed seeing the group with his eyes. But he focused on the task as he put some gloves on then grabbed a bottle of idoine twisting it open with his mouth.
"A surprise to see you here but we'll talk after were done, do any of you know what snake bite her?""whitlely questioned thinking for a moment but emerald had the answer.
"An adder snake, we washed the area out already but it keeps oozing venom"emerlad replied as whitley nodded as him and the doctor got to work. The doctor placed the iodine on a cloth and gently patted it down as yang cried in pain panting heavily. The wound classified slightly as whitley reached into the case pulling out the antivenom. Then quickly set up an iv drip then grabbed yang hand pressing it into her hand.
Soon after it began to drip the fluids into her as she sat their panting passed out. Then after some time her condition was stablized as the doctor wiped his brow walking over throwing his gloves away from a job well done.
"Well you got her here just in time, now leave while we perform some more procedures"he ordered as they left the room as eria silently prayed her friend was going to make it. The group waited in the waiting room for maybe about an hour. Though the women was asking one very important toward one of them.
"So dear, you escaped from your kidnappers. Thats great to hear when i saw the news i feared for the worst"she said directly to eria who nodded smiling.
"Well it was hard, but i managed miss rhodes"eria replied making the women laugh slightly.
"Please dear enough with the formatlies call me nicole"the women itnroduced herself as nicole rhodes which peeked bahsira interest a little wondering if this was that clinic ame mentioned to her back in havan.
"Wait is your daughter ame rhodes?"bashira questioned as ncole nodded.
"That would be my little girl, surprised you don't remember me since we did visit havan a few times. "Nicole replied as she prepared them some tea while they waited for whitley and the doctor.
Nancy drinked her slowly setting it down"well for starters how long until the kid is out?"She questioned
"Yeah because uh i rather not see red cry her eyes out"falk mentioned which made them worry if that would happen how would the silver eyed girl react.
"Don't say that you idiot"eria said smacking him behind the head as he whined rubbing the spot she hit. Though eventually from the back the doctor emerged along with whitley in tow who was staring at the group for a while. The doctor cleared his throat.
"I'm happy to say your friend will make it. We've managed to get the venom out in time before it caused a fatal reaction. She'll need to rest a day though, and compress the swelling with an ice pack"the doctor said making them all sigh in relief
"Thank you alex, seriously the best doctor we know in our little town"neptuen thanked the doctor known as alex rhodes.
Alex chuckled slightly"it was nothing thank my new assistant who i'm sure you all know from a certain company"he said but whtiley walked over hugging falk for reason as he patted the heirs back. But the pilot felt a couple tears on his chest.
"Its nice to see you again…its been a long time"Whitley greeted as the pilot returned the gesture patting his back.
"Same here, though….shouldn't you be in atlas?"falk questioned the obvious which caught them all offguard seeing him here. This made eria wonder if this was this so called medical school jacque sent him to which didn't make sense. While whitley rubbed his eyes hiding his tears.
"Oh well i'm actually here staying with my….uh older sister winter. Mother wanted me to study medicine in a professional environment. "Whitley replied
"Well its not a fancy general hospital. But miss thank you for identifying that venom so quickly. You must be an expert"alex thanked emerald but this made them curious how she knew about he venom. Falk and eria recalled early how she knew what that gas was like she seen it before. Along with saying a snake faunus immediately when yang fell down.
"Hold on how did you know what the venom was?"eria questioned as emerald slightly went wide eyed rubbing her arms for a moment.
"I'll explain when we get back to the house. Because now we gotta prepare for how blondie mom will react"emerald replied as they all dreaded that because ravan may not be such a happy mother that he daughter got posioned.
"Ohhh right… is going to kill us"bashira replied peeking whitley interest immediately recalling that was his sister teammates. Then he wonder if his dear sister was with them.
"That is troubling though is it fine if i go with them . That girl in their is on my other sister huntress team. If its alright with you"Whitley asked before hand as alex thought for a moment nodding to him.
"Thats fine, your shift and training is over in ten minutes. I'll let you leave early but be here tommorrow morning early. "Alex replied as whitley hung his coat up leaving with the group. As they were making their way back to the hayley house to regroup while nancy went off to the police department to question those thugs from the factory.
After weiss,raven and winter ifnromed cordovin about the situation she was more than please but the three informed her that some of the tracks were damaged due to an encounter with a grimm that desotyred most of the track. However cordovin said that it wouldn't be an issue to fix the tracks on the train and make sure that everything would be operational come the next day.
So with nothing better to do they regrouped back at the hayley residents after a long day. They entered the house to be greeted by mostly everyone except for eria and her group. As already making dinner finishing it up was dravan, osar and thetis preparing for a small feast.
"Their you three are wondering if we lost the ice queens and the might branwhen"lazuli joked as she was playing with snickers throwing a squeaky toy for the dog. As it just enjoyed the plastic bone making the noise, luckily it didn't hurt the faunus ears.
"Well it was pretty long since along the way winter kept pestering her sister"Raven said smirking slightly to wiess embarrassment as her tail wagged around. The entire way back winter kept teasing her while carmen went off somewhere else.
Winter chuckled placing her hands on wiess shoulder"sorry that i wanted to mess with my younger sister. I'm not as cold as i was back in the day"she replied
"Hmph thats an understatement. I recall running into you a few times with a very cold chip on your shoulder"calida replied holding luna who was just sitting their plating with some toys that verona brought for her. Though stepping inside winter glanced toward the kitchen for a moment if she was seeing things.
Dravan was stirring a pot before glancing in her direction"What are you staring at? Because if your asking if i'm single i aint."he replied as he was stirring some gumbo with the ingredients he had.
"And his wife is over here, pleasure to meet the eldest schnee"verona said with a small bow as they all took their respective seats but weiss immediately noticed the others haven't arrived yet, along with jaki being missing.
"Wait where are the others and where is ?"weiss before they could the sound of loud banging and the clanking of metal could be heard from the garage. Which just answered her question guessing he was working on a project.
"Frosty just busy working on another project of him. As for the others we don't know probably still at the factory"calida answered which made raven start to worry a little. It was across town but they should be back by now.
"Thats strange, here i'll give skyguy a call"lazuli said picking up her scroll pressing the call button. But right as she did the front door opened as they all looked over at falk holding his scroll in hand as it buzz.
Falk answered it"uhhh where not here…please leave a message after the beep. Beep"falk joked making weiss laugh slightly as lazuli rolled her eyes. The group walked in the room but noticed one new face and one missing.
"Whtiley?"lazuli questioned catching weiss offguard before a pair of arms embraced her curiosity of her brother whitley.
"Your okay! God we were all worried sick what happened to you"whitley cired in joy as wiess retuned the embrace as her tail wagged in joy to see her brother again safe it seems. She had tears of joy holding him close.
"I'm so happy your safe…but winter told me about mom and wren"weiss replied sadly confusing some but something hit whitley side as he glanced down to see his older sister with a tail.
"Why do you have a tail?"whitley questioned
Neptune stepped inside confused before seeing her with a tail"uhhh whats with the acceesorry. Man people have weird fashion trends nowadays"he said touching it making her shiver slightly as his face went pale. It felt very real.

Neptune sat in his chair leaning"yep another creepy knight dead good ridances"he said which just made raven glare at him. Verona pushed him out of his chair as he landed hard on his back.
"Don't talk like that about meli. She ddin't have control that stupid parasite forced her to do horrible things"verona growled with tear forming which caught winter attention immediately. Then she made sure the door was locked crossing her arms under her bust.
"So i'm assuming you all know about the chimera grimm?"winter asked nodding which got weird look from whitley and neptune. They've never heard of such a grimm existing.
"What are you talking about?whiley questioned as the atmosphere got tense, lazuli eyed them all pulling the picture from her bag placing them on the table. The two looked to see a grimm inside someone back with its torn open. Neptune gagged rushing over puking into a nearby trashcan.

Whitley tapped his chin"i'm guessing this is what in each grimm knight. If my medical knowledge is corrects is a parastic organism"he said as they nodded at that.
"Ding you hit the mark. Seems that these guys aint in control of their body."falk replied
"Though how did everything go at the factory, along with that where is my daughter?"raven demanded with a stern look. The group got quiet for a moment thinking on how to best explain to her what happened to yang. Bashira gulped nerovusly ringing her hands together.
"Well we stopped some sabtours from destroying the factory i guess. Your husband gotta do ID checks seems your sbatours are on the inside"bashira explained pausing slightly which raven didn't really like.

Eria rubbed her porthsetic knee"we got an attacked by some man in a body suit. We dealt with the thugs but she chased after him. Though he…bite her injecting venom into her body. But don't worry shes safe at the rhodes clinic"She answered nerouvsly.
Raven stood their for a moment gripping omen handle tight not trying to blow up right now but was very worried for her daughter. She exhaled a few times to compose herself then opened her eyes having a calm look.
"I take it the doctor their saved my daughter?"raven asked
Whitley nerovusly rubbed his arm"uhh well me and did. All she needs is to rest while her aura recovers"he replied as she walked over placing a hand on his shoulder nodding to him.

"It was no problem"whitley replied but falk had to question what they were planning to discuss early. But not before telling them the train will be repaired tomorrow.

"Yeah because that creepy guy seemed like an assassin"neptune added

Adam nodded"i have back then when i was…in the mines"he replied clenching his fist at the thought of it. Nina noticed his trouble look guiding the bull faunus to sit down picking up snickers placing her in his lap.

"I do back in the mines if i recall two weeks when my parents…were executed."adam begun making whitley feel sour hearing that especially winter. Because their family company was ruined by that devil.

Although we did seem to become friends in a way sharing our shared trauma. But one day i heard him fleeing from the mines with his older sister emie. But his other sister…."he paused before emerald finished.

Winter sighed rubbing her eyes"look i'll ask the police deparmtnet to do bacgkround check on most of your workers. If were lucky we can stop this sabotage."she replied

"Great need help?"bashira asked as she nodded as the two left the house to take the malachite twins to her apartment. As they all began to sit down for dinner for the night as they caught each other what happened. Though emerging from his den finally with soot all over his arpon.

"Nope for starters you gotta eat, rather not have my little brother go hunger"dravan firmly stated which caught neptune offgaurd. He was eating for a moment staring at him like he seen him somewhere before.
"What are you talking about? The twins said their uncle was dead"neptune said in mid bite.
"Oh in the anima instead of finding my sister we found my uncle who been alive for the past five years"eria simply replied eating her food causing him to choke on his pounding his chest. Whitley was a little surprised by that.
"Wait your their uncle? I'm sure the news back then said you were dead?"whitley asked
Verona sighed as she was wiping luna face off with some stew on it with a wet wipe. She hasn't really been in a modern home every because this was a little foreign to her.
"Hmph my husband thought he killed his other niece. Though as of late he finally came out of hiding"verona said making neptune jaw drop even more but smile for the hayley girl tapping her slightly on the shoulder.
"Hey that great. Oh man when your sister see him i'm sure shes going to cry her eyes out in joy"neptune stated as eria knew that it'll exactly happen, but she smirked at something else.
"Along with my alive leader who as of late yesterday went to menagerie"eria dropped another bombshell making him go wide eyed. The blue hair boy chuckled taking their word for it.
"Oh right my clown of a cousin….and i'm still very worried whats going on over their right now"lauzli admitted as of them were worried. They all ate dinner as whitley was a little curious what she meant by that.

"It was yesterday. I'm sure the news would report the island destruction. All i hope for is that…blake and her family are safe"adam said. He was worried for his ex family since they took him in after the mines. Lazuli had a small teasing look appear.

The map of mistral had several symbols dotted around the place mostly white fang and knuckeldusters. Eria for one was shocked he even managed to do all this examining it with shock and awe.
"Are you telling us he made all this?"emerald questioned surprised herself as falk studied the map raising an eyebrow.
"Hold up those are prime KD spots in mistral. Those are theirs rackets and business they run in the city lower levels"falk added
Adam nodded"and these are cell locations we had in mistral. But the only ones that have that knowledge are me…ollie, and our enforcers"he replied which made weiss think of who gave him this information.

"We aint reading anymore of that rather not learn yet what happened to my cousin"lazuli said closing the journal. Jaki though also decided to mention what their planning on doing in shade and what happened. Raven sat back down rubbing her slightly sore hand.
"I'm very mad right now, but at least we have information on half of them. Along with this map it'll prove beneficial when we get to havan"raven state firmly. But eria noticed her father current expression.
"I'm assuming you have more to tell us?"She asked as he nodded
"I do because back in vacuo staying with fenix and his family. The unseen eyed tried to kidnap them and take them to havan"jaki replied as raven thought for a moment nodding.
"I'm guessing to use his daughter bastet as ransom. Did they take them already?"Raven asked as he thought for a moment with a little bit of puzzled look.
"No we rescued them on time their heading to menagerie. Thanfkully well…this will make me sound crazy. Two people with semblance resembling your leader were their"jaki answered catching them all offguard hearing that. Eria was confused hearing that his semblance was inherite.
"Wait…are you telling us that guys semblance is inherited?"neptune questioned surrpsied
"Guys right because for starters you sure you weren't seeing things old man"emerald added but he pulled his scroll out. Then he pulled the picture up from those two mysterious figures as they all looked at the scroll. To their shock it showed two people with similar semblnaces to his but in purple and green colors. Eria eyes widden with shock after hearing this all today.
"Holy crap….they look exactly like his semblance. Freaky"falk said surprised
Weiss though thought of one thing"wait if they have the same semblance as him wouldn't that make them his family?"She asked surprised as lazuli was caught offguard herself hearing her cousin actually had living family. But she found it strange.
"That shoudln't be possible…auntie couldn't even find any of his relatives"lazuli recalled but in oscar head ozpin hummed at that.
"It seems my theory was correct. The gravekeepers are alive they must have been hiding for the past four to five hundred years"ozpin said
"What are you talking about?"he said aloud earning weird looks for a moment.
"Uhh that her aunt coudln't find his family your ears busted or something?"neptune asked as they thought if they should tell the two, they all kept their peace.
Oscar rubbed his neck"Sorry yeah i was focused on something else"he replied but nina eyed him for a moment wondering something. The older women decided to question the boy tomorrow. Though her youngest son decided to announce something shocking.

Eria codly laughed at that sighing"Are you telling me my dumb leader actually family apart of some dumb cult or something?"she asked but thetis snapped her fingers for a moment before recalling an old tale she heard.
"You know I think theirs a story on something known as that. I have a book at my house"theits said as some of them traveld with the women to her house. It wasn't a long walk as they walked toward a reading room. Their was a small fireplace with a chair to enjoy some light reading. Along with a wide collection of books on the shelfs.
Falk whistles slightly"these are alot of books you must like reading?"he asked
Thetis was looking through the shelves for the book"i dabble from time to time. But i mainly used this room to read stories to my daughter"she said before having a somber look appear. Weiss looked down at that guessing pyrrha loved this room alot.
"i guess she loved this room alot"weiss said trying to cheer her up which brought a small smile to her face.
"She did, even at her age she would spend her free time reading. Despite being a huntresses she enjoyed reading the most finding it relaxing. Probably telling stories to peleus right now."theits replied finding the book she was looking for. It was a dusty book as she blew the dust off as they coughed from it. "Ah, here we are. The gravekeepers are a family who were rumoured to have a second skin emerge from their body, coating them in an armor like material.. Says here they had four forms in total as their family vowed to slay grimm which earned them their title. "She started to explain
"Along with their four forms representing something, protection, warrior, animal and finally it says here they disappeared over five hundred years ago for some reason. All of which presumed dead or went into hiding in fear."she finished presenting a picture.
It showed four figures in strange attire from the looks of it. One of them had what resemble bat wings on their back. While another showed someone with a shield replacing their entire arm. Another was a female in appearance with a pair of blades for arms. Finally it showed someone resembling a dragon with the head of one, tail and wings.
All of them were processing this for a moment as lazuli looked very puzzled right now.
"Okay so….one of our friends is apart of some family lineage that vowed to slay grimm. Neat"neptune said casually
"Neat is an understatement, this is pretty surprising"emerald replied
Weiss was shocked herself"i know what you mean. Surprised to hear his semblance was inherited."she said but with eria she just stood their very shocked right now. But knew one problem that will arise from this.
Eria groaned holding her head"hes going to make stupid puns about inheriting his looks from his family. Someone please tell me i'm dreaming"She begged as the laughed at her plee for a moment before deciding to call it a night. At the hayley house it was eria with oscar along with her uncle family. While at the hotel was falk, bashira, adam, emerald and raven. But across town right now was weiss.
Who was in her sister apartment which was simple fitting about a alot of people in the room. Their was a simple kitchen in the room with a living room that had a couch and lazy boy along with a TV. But right now whitley was finishing up checking over mealnie as miltia stood their neoruvsly.
Milita was wearing some black sweatpants with an icy blue shirt since she borrowed some from winter closet.
The young man placed a cold rag on her head along with placing a small humifditer in the room. Which made the fox have an easier time breathing it seems.
"So how is she? Is my sister going to be alright?"miltia asked worried as whitley stood up clapping his hands together.
"She'll be fine, smart idea moving her here to someplace warm. Her condition might have worsen but with the medicine and the humidifier. "He begun before gesturing to her since she was sitting on a bed with new bandages.
"You'll head to the clinic tommorrow to get those wounds check out. They could get infected"he added which made her seem nervous.
"Are you sure their faunus friendly?"miltia asked as her tail swayed.
Whitley nodded smiling"positive i've only been their for a short time but alex is a nice soul. He has a policy not to turn anyone away in need. Faunus or human otherwise"whitley replied making her feel reassured. Lazuli was their to check up on her sort of cousins.
"True but smart moves on coming here mil. Rather not lose anymore family"lazuli replied
Miltia slightly chuckled"yeah still congrats on hearing your brother and sister are in menagerie. Hope everything okay over their"She replied since they explained what happening in menagerie.
"I'm sure it'll be fine. Though still finding it weird that your a faunus now"carmen replied as weiss was in her pajamas. Carmen consisted of a black sports bra with tna boxers which broguth out her figure and curves. Though it showed the ten pointed snowflake brand on her hip.
Whitley blushed slightly avoiding looking at her"i find that strange myself. I wonder how mother would react. Wren might pull it"he joked
Weiss sighed slightly"he might. Mom probably would be fine with it although jacuqe on the other hand. He might…"she didn't wanna finish as winter noticed her pause walking over guiding her to to the living room as they followed leaving mealnie to sleep.
"I'm not letting him do something like that. I've requested tomorrow off from the base to spend time with you before you leave for windpath"winter said before hugging her in a protective embrace making weiss feel a little safe.
Whitley nodded"she right because i'm not letting someone hurt my sister"he affirmed
Weiss smiled claming down now"thank you, though how are things with those detectives? Have they found anything to put him behind bars"she siad with hope catching milita offgaurd slightly.
"What are you talking about exactly?"miltia questioned as they stood in silence for a moment. Weiss shook a little hugging herself as winter held her embrace. Whitley looked down upset sighing as he removed his shirt making carmen turn away but glanced slightly. Because despite his size he actually had a toned body.
"Because our father is quite…abusive"whitlley siad turning around to her shock revealing several deep and old scar on his back. The fox looked upset for a moment sighing.
"Explains why your with feathers over here. "Miltia replied as he put his shirt back on as lazuli though noticed carmen blush having a teasing look.
"Yes, though i'll discuss it with you tommorrow along with meeting with them. But i want to discuss something with you and "winter suddenly said
"Why can't we talk here exactly?"weiss asked
"Mainly because i'd like to discuss something private with you two. Also carmen your coming"winter demanded as they found it strange but relented deciding what she wanted as they got their coats on quickly to not freeze.
Exiting the apartment winter lead them soemhwere as they walked for ten minutes into view of the park. Along the way winter grabebd them four hot drinks in a case as she quickly made them before they left. Their was an orange glow in the sky as winter and weiss sat on the bench. While carmen stood their sipping her drink as lazuli leaned from behind the bench drinking hers.
All four were silent before winter looked up at the sky as she spoke up
"Nice night. Isn't it"winter replied as weiss looked up as well getting a look at the sky with the stars shining above them. Lazuli admired it a little too thinking of some good times with her family. Carmen stood their silent staring at it.
"Yeah….it most certainly is"Weiss replied before she stared at the memorial statute of pyrrha standing their like a guardian watching over the city. Lazuli stared at it for a moment too wondering how her cousin handling hearing his friends that died.
"Its not your fault weiss"winter said catching weiss offguard by the sudden mention of that.
"What?"weiss said meeting her sister gaze
"Its not…your fault she gone…and for your friend losing her leg"winter repeated. Weiss stared back at the statute understanding what this was and shook her head.
"I'm not blaming myself. I've known pyrrha long enough at my time at beacon. At first i was going to make her sign a deal with our company but i refused. Instead i saw how popular she was like she was a celebrity but after getting to know her"she started smiling a little at the statue.
"She just like everyone else….wanting to be a huntresses. Someone that protect people no matter who they are faunus or human. And my cold friend doesn't blame me for her loss of limb she blames rosemary. I know its not my fault"Weiss finished
"She knew the risk of what being a huntresses was and it costed her life for it"Winter replied as the four took sips of their drinks.
"Yeah she was a prime huntresses from what i saw. She did some good before she passed"lazuli replied proudly.
"So winter…i know we've talked while here in argus but you haven't told me about you?"weiss replied
"Well i'm the military obviously. But right now i'm here making sure argus is defended the general was against it but i insisted to stay here. Hoping you will cross paths through here"she spoke glancing at her.
"Which i was right, though if your wondering about mo…mom and wren. Their staying with coucnilman wilkins and his family"winter replied
"Thats great to hear"weiss replied smiling since her mother knew the coucnilman when they were kids.
"Though i'm happy your alive. Had us worried when the hayley chick didn't arrive in argus after leaving atlas"carmen said with a happy smile
"Well driving a airship crash wasn't easy. Mastering my summoning took some time along with slaying a lancer queen. Participating in a bandit war"weiss replied
Winter smiled"it seems you have some tales like our grandfather. Maybe that will be your legacy in the future"she said
"Maybe it could. Took me some time to understand how faunus truly felt actually. Talked to a few learning about how their treated nowadays. Makes me understand grandpa nicholas even more"weiss said as her tail swayed under her coat.
"Sure it was fun roughing it in the woods"carmen replied as the four chatted for a bit as they were heading back toward the apartment. The hotel was in the same direction before the others got worried.
"Though mother may ask when she'll get grandkids"winter teased again making wiess blush bright red.
Lazuli was snorting laughing slightly"oh man she got you their….ohh i can't believe your dating him"she said before a smirk came to the girl face deciding to mess with her.
"At least i don't have a crush on adam"she teasted making lazui face heat up as she was obviosuly blushing.
"I..i don't have a crush on him hes my prisoner!"lazuli shouted. The three coudln't resist going into full blown laughter.
"Oh man denial is such a clicher. You love the one eyed bull"carmen said to her making lazuli turn away from them.
"I'm going to the hotel. Rather not stay out until i'm dragged back to the hotel by raven"lazuli said as the three only smiled walking back to their apartment.
On the walk back toward the hotel lazuli had thoughts running through her head more importantly her thoughts about adam. Sure they share a bit of a similar past being both orphans while he saved her from drowning. Along with fighting the wendigo and helped her deal with the guilt of killing someone. Plus she kinda had to admit he was rather good looking and was quite gentle despite his reputation.
Lazuli stopped for a moment allowing her thoughts to catch up with her and that was when she relaized that they were actually right. She has a crush on adam and she had it bad for him. After ten minutes she reutnred to the hotel and immediately headed toward the bedroom. She opened it to see the light where turned off as everyone was asleep. As raven took a chair while bashira and emerald shared a bed. Emerald layed their as bashira had an arm wrapped around her. While adam took the other and falk slept in a chair.
Lazuli shook her head as she removed her jacket placing it on the rack. She took her shoes off before carefully laying down on the bed where adam was sleeping on his back with his hands on the back of his head with his eyes closed. She smiled at him watching him sleeping peacefully before she actually snuggled up close to him before she fell asleep herself.
Adam opened his good eyes as he felt something snuggle close to him. He turned his head and notice that it was lazuli perfectly content with snuggling with him. He smiled a little taking in lazuli form admiring her as he closed his eyes falling asleep.
Seems that yang was saved on time but they ran into whitley who is studying his doctor degree in argus. While jaki told them about someone semblance being inherited along with seeing lazuli and adam slowly gettting closer. Thanks for reading!
