Chapter 74:Serpants Den

It was a quiet and cold night in the city of argus right now. No one stirred awake right now as everyone seemed to try to stave off the cold night. Though expertly moving through the streets and nearby rooftops was adder. He quickly parkour his way through the rooftops avoiding any of the civlains down below, along with the police

But he stoped momentarily as he held his side, the snake pulled his hand up revealing a dark purple bruise. It hurt with each movement he made but needed to get to his hideout. Along with the glass shards in his come up with a plan on taking those factories down, along with that group.

"Gotta keep moving, i'm closssse to home"adder said to himself as he kept pressing on until eventually after twenty minutes. He arrived at his home which was a simply house in argus. It had two stories that was slightly shoved inbeween homes. But it had a small balcony on it leading inside for upper level access. Along with a starciase to the front door.

With a sigh of relief he made his way to the balcony as he produced a key from his pocket. Then he unlocked the door closing the door behind him sighing in relief.

The room he ended up was his room as it had a simple two person bed in their. Along with a desk with a holo computer to get his work done. But close by their was also a bookshelf that had books on a vast array of subject. Most of which seem to be assasination and combat handbooks. Along with that a coffee table in the center as the room was quite spacious. As he hoped inside he tore his mask off tossing it the the ground. Then looked at his side wincing slightly.

"Dam brat…nailed me when i didn't activate my aura"adder said to himself but soon someone respodned.

"Oh seems my little brother finally comes back wherever he went'a female voice said

The snake looked over toward the doorframe to see a women standing their. Inside the doorway stood a women who seems to be in her early thirties as she light tan skin like him. But her eyes were dark green and reptile like, but her hair was medium in length colored eminence purple. While her faunus traits was a pair snake scales on her arms.

What she was wearing was a pair dark brown pants with a purple long-sleeved wool sweaters. But she had a small pouch on her hip along with a pair of purple character shoes. But in her hair was a snake hairclip ready to strike.

Adder groaned internally who he was seeing his older sister whos been staying with him.

"Emie i thought you'd be assssleep by now. Guesssss i woke you up"adder said as he was in the process of removing his shirt. The girl known as emie boa glared at him for some reason.

"Stop it"emie said catching him offguard. Adder removed his shirt as he flipped light on to illuminate his room as he walked to his bathroom. Quickly opening the medicine cabinet grabbing some ipurofrn taking a couple, along with some salve, medkit. Once returning he sat on the desk.

"Ssstop what dear ssssister?"adder asked as he got forceps out along with some disinfectant. Along with a couple medical pads just incase. Emie the snake faunus walked over bonking him ontop of his head causing him to hiss slightly at her.

"Oh don't you hiss at me. You know what your adding an extra S when you sssay anything"emie pointed out as the snake faunus looked away for a moment.

Adder chuckled slightly"but itsss my thing ssssis you should do it m–"Adder was stop as she began to ball her fist up pounding at him to stop.

"Stop it little brother! Its fricking annoying that you do that"emie demanded as adder was trying to stop the assault from his older sister.

After a bit of time he relented sighing"fine, i'll stop adding extra s when i say anything. happy"Adder replied as the women gave a proud look like she just won a war.

"Very. though that looks like it hurts need any help?"emie asked as adder held his side wincing a little. Along with a couple glass shards in his forearm.

"I can handle myself. Done it just fine after we escaped from atlas"adder said trying to trying to grab the glass but felt a bolt of pain smacking the table hard grunting.

Then he looked at emie who was waiting for him to say it.

"Fine i need help…you know how to–"adder was stopped

"How to remove glass. Yes don't forget i was a doctor back in vale before you know"emie sadly said as she grabbed the forceps. She began to dig into his skin as he gritted his fangs to push through the pain. After a bit of time soon enough and some pulling she pulled the glass shards out. Then placed it in a small little tray near the desk as it clinked on it.

"I know…i'm still very sorry for the loss of your husband. I really liked krait"adder replied with a sadden look.

Emie placed the glass in a sealed bag sighing"i know you did. But your nephew is still a little heartbroken about it."she said as she opened the disinfectant bottle dumping it onto a cloth. Then she gentle patted wound as he winced

"Oh him is he here right now or that friend of his place?"adder asked

Emie smiled slightly as the wound calcified as she gently placed a medical pad on it closing his wound up. Then he stood up picking up his ruined part of his outfit tossing it into the laundry.

"Hmm maybe he is or maybe hes.."before emie could finish soon a pair of hands wrapped around his leg. Adder looked down to see his nephew standing their smiling at him.

The nephew in question was ten years old, his eyes were bright red as his skin was lightish tan. His hair was medium green cut short. He wore a pair of black jeans with a green hoodie on, his faunus traits was a snake tail that was medium green.

"Uncle adder!"the faunus cheered as adder smiled slightly gently removing him kneeling down as he winced. But hugged him in a loving embrace close.

"Bazz i thought you'd be at that melody girls house tonight"adder asked

"No she had another concert tonight. But how did your trip go did you bring me anything?"bazz asked as his tail moved around the place. Adder sighed rubbing his head for a moment shaking his head.

"Not this time sorry kiddio. This job more close to home than usual."adder said disappointing him but smiled at hearing that.

"Does that mean your staying for a few days?"bazz asked

"I am for a bit then i need to head back to havan to meet my employer"Adder replied standing up as he winced slightly as he was about to crash on the bed. But emi cleared her throat.

"You know i just made dinner why don't you come down and eat. We are in your house"emie asked as he was about to argue but his stomach rumbled. Without arguing he joined them dowsntairs for dinner. It was a simple kitchen with some stairs that led upstairs. Along with that a rug sat in the center that had a serpent in the middle of it. Their was a couch with a medium size tv and a coffe table. As they sat down he looked at the dinner before him.

It was stir fried taulpi fish that had some pepper, salt and basil mixed in. along with some fried eggs with some water. The three began to dig into their meal for the night as it made him feel content being sent here.

Emie eyed him for a moment eating her dinner"So what exactly is this big job that you need to do?"emie questioned as he looked at his dinner.

"Just a simple sabotage. You know how those companies are with their rivals"adder simply replied as she sighed

"You know you could get a different job. I know its your choice but you co–"she was stoped as he slightly glared at her. That meant back off as she put a hand up backing off for now.

"Don't worry about it. I'm doing what i can for my family if it means…putting people to sleep. It'll be fine"adder coldy said which worried her but she just ate her food. The three ate their dinner until finishing as bazz returned to his room.

Emie returned to her as adder returned to his as he took a quick shower. Once he was done he slipped on some black pants with a dark green shirt. Then he eyed the bookcase close by. Walking over he pulled a fake book revealing a pressure plate. A click could be heard as it opened to reveal a large array of weapons. It had submachine guns, knifes, swords, axe, throwing knive. Along with some grenades in the mix, but he placed his khopesh blade back on its rack.

"Back where you belong, i'll probably need something more explsoive to destory those facorites"adder said placing the book back. Then it closed shut as he walked over to his bed collapsing, he wonder if his mistresses will be mad if he fails. If he does he hopes it'll be his life not his familys.

It was a bright new morning as the first to wake up was raven as she got up from her chair stretching popping her limbs making sure that she was flexible which soon followed by the others. But emerald blushed slightly embarrassed being held. Falk groaned cracking his back.

"Okay that isn't embarrassing at all"emerald said

"Morning everyone"raven said before looking toward the bed adam was sleeping on and noticed that lazuli was sleeping with him too as she had an arm on his chest with a content look on her face. Raven walked over to the two of them and shook adam arm which in turn made him flinch and woke him up which in turn woke up lazuli as their eyes fluttered opened.

"Wake up lovebirds"bashira replied

The two of them stared at each other as adam spoke first"morning"he greeted

"Morning too you too bull horn"lazuli replied as they both got up and out of bed as they both stretched out any stiff limbs with lazuli having some blush on her face.

"You two looked like you slept great"falk asked almost teasing the two of them.

"Y-yes. It was comfortable"adam said trying to hide his blush.

"Alright. So…now what should we do?"bashira asked ready to start their day.

"For now we should head to the haylye reisdnets to regroup. Then i'm heading to the clinic to check on my daughter. We may be stuck here for longer"raven replied

'Okay then lets head out. The others should already be their"adam said as they geared up and headed out of the room toward the lobby to check out since they don't want to overstay their welcome. After paying for their room the five walked out and noticed it was rather cloudly with a slight chill in the air. Lazuli noticed that small snowflakes hit her face that were barely noticeable.

"Is is snowing already?"emerald said

"Yep its very light this time of year, but you'll be fine"neptune said surprising them slightly walking over.

"What are you doing here? Kinda weird how you knew when were leaving"emerald questioned confused

"Uhh actually i was on my way here. You guys aint natives to the place thought you might get lose"neptune replied but he might have had a different reason maybe.

"Hmm its been a long time since i've been here. But lets head to the hayley residents"bashira replied as they headed onward to their destination. But emerald wondered if the blue hair boy had a different reason for being here.

Though in the hayley household right now everyone was already up eating breakfast for the day. While jaki was still in his workshop still hard at work like usually it seems, working on his project. Everyone else sat down enjoying their breakfast.

Verona drank a nice cup of coffe sighing"man i've only had creamier in my coffee a few times. Might abandone the tribal life"She said as her ears tiwtched around.

"Your not wrong, seriously a nice cup of coffee is what i need to start my morning"Calida replied drink her own.

"I'll just settle for some tea thank you very much"nina replied drinking some because she actually had blood sugar problems, and needed to cut back on the caffeine.

Oscar was finishing up eating his breakfast already cleaning up his dishes as eria already cleaned up her. But was playing fetch with snickers tossing a ball to her as luna sat next to her. The dog returned it dropping the spit covered ball.

"Here now you throw it"eria said handing luna the ball who stared at it for a moment. Then she threw it as the dog chased after it grabbing it then return it panting.

"Fluffy bear"luna said reaching to pet the dog as the dog walked over licking her making the girl giggle a little. Nina found it a little adorable as dravan smiled a little seeing this. Because he felt proud that he finally started a family.

"Yes she is like a little bear. But your still very cute sweetie"nina cooed as eria wondered how her grandma acted when her and rogue were babies. Probably kept gushing over them though she still wonders if her sister is alright right now. Along with hoping that she isn't dead somewhere. But she pushed that thought behind her she can't always think of negative things.

"Sometimes i find it strange how i'm a cousin. Though its a nice feeling not going to lie"eria admitted

Calida smiled walking over joining them"well i'm also very happy this dumb idiot starterd a family. Thought you'd never find one since you talked like peter"She said

Dravan then smirked before putting his finger over his lip pretending he had a mustache to imitate the old huntsman.

"Well i peter port find your tone rude. Though i am a gentlemen at heart and i repsct your wishes. Though their was this one time i fought hundreds of grimm with nothing but a pebble"dravan said intimidating his best port impression.

Verona had her coffe in hand spitting in it laughing a little at it. While calida was laughing herself missing this time. Along with eria who was happy that her family didn't loose someone because the last few weeks have been a blessing in disguise.

"I forgot you'd try to impresnate him. He even complimented it saying it was a perfect lesson for the mastery of disguise"calida said recalling the good old days.

"Heh well i found his jokes to be very annoying at first. Seriously along with his tall tales about everything he would do"verona siad

Which made dravan stand up flexing his left arm posing slightly as he switched his tribal attire for something else. That being a simple pair of black jeans with a dark purple sweater like the void as his right arm sleeve was loose.

"But my tales are interesting stories. I may dabble in the words for a bit to make them sound even more exciting. I could talk about the time me, my brother and fur ears went on a missions when you got sick"dravans suggested

But that made calida have a thought pop in her head hearing about kali for a moment. The women probably would be crying her eyes out next time they see each other as she set her cup down.

"I almost forgot about her! Oh she'll be very happy to hear your alive and that you have a family."calida sqeuaeld at the thought as the jackal faunus recalled his partner at his days in beacon. How he imagined it she probably smack him using that dumb shadow cat of hers, but then cry her eyes out gushing over his daughter and stunning wife.

"Oh she might, its nice to hear that our team is whole again. Just like you dear"calida replied smiling at her daughter.

"It is, shame my status as leader was short. Though where probably heading to havan and i really wanna see those two. "Eria replied because she really wanted to see them but had to make sure rogue was in havan at least.

Before they could continue the door was being knocked on as verona walked over allowing raven and her group to step inside from the harsh cold. Emerald was trying to warm herself up after making a stop to buy a coat which was dark green in color.

"Okay seriously i feel like my face is going fall off out their"Emerald said as her cheeks where slightly red.

"Hey you get used to the feeling of the cold here. Princess over here is a master of it"neptune said gesturing to eria who growled a little. Then if on instinct activated her new part of the semblance coating the entire room in a white out blizzard.

"Ah! I can't see anything why is their snow in the house?!"calida scrreched trying to find her way around before bumping into someone tripping to the ground.

"Ow! Who ever just bumped into me you better tell me"bashira replied as they all kept scrambling around the room confused on what was happening. Until eria soon deactivated that part of her semblance to reveal what happened. That being calida laying ontop of bashira while emerald was feeling up against a wall. As lazuli and adam just stood by each other, neptune was on the ground groaning a little as snicker was licking his head.

"What the heck was that?"neptune questioned still getting licked in the face by snickers.

"Yeah because i don't recall our house having a blizzard here"calida replied as she helped bashira to her feet as the two both dusted each other off. While eria tapped her finger together nervously laughing.

"Oh well uhh back in the anima. Apparently my semblance evolved i can create snowstorms in a short distance"eria answered catching calida offguard hearing that before squealing spritnging over pulling her into an embrace as her head was shoved into her bust.

"Thats amazing! Aww how did that happen did you get anger at someone in those woods"calida cooed making her daughter blush slightly feeling embarrassed.

"Yeah seriously i don't recall you being able to do that. You could like freeze stuff and summon ice or whatever"neptune replied surprised that she evolved her semblance. He wonder if his could evolve in a way which made him a little curious. But he doens't really like using his semblance everysince a certain incident.

Eria soon broke free of her mother embrace clearing her throat"back in the anima we ran into a women by the name of vernal. Along with rescuing a crashed ship that was attacked by those lancers"she explained

"Who is this vernal exactly?"calida questioned earning a growl from verona as raven had a disappointed look form on her face.

"Let just say she an old friend. The main reason our tribe been split in half, she convinced several of my tribe to join her. Force us to return to our old ways when we were bandits, father did mold her in a way since she was taken in"raven stated

Nina hummed at that"i recall you branwhen being bandits back in the day. Though its also had been very nice to hear you turned into protectors of the innocents now."she replied

"Same here though vern tried to kill me after me and my niece met. Traditor almost killed me but she saved my butt. Though were also lucky were all still alive after lee betraying us"verona said

Lazuli flinched a little at that looking away because part of her still feels guilty for what she did. She knows she had no choice but to defend herself, but lately she had a bit of trouble sleeping but its not that bad.

Oscar soon finished washing his dishes walking over but as he joined them the garage door was thrown open. All turned to reveal jaki in an iron apron with soot and smoke covering his wielder mask. Along with his gloves being cover but he held something under his arms. That being a long purple case that looked very heavy.

"Look like he crawled out from his hole. How you doing "falk greeted

The man lifted his mask as they flinched slightly because he looked very tired with some heavy bags under his eyes. It looked like he stayed up all night making whatever he was making. Which some of them didn't know since they kept it secret from the others.

"Whoa you look like you died and craweld out of a hole"bashira said

Calida sighed placing a hand on her cheek"Thats just how my husband usually looks after he had a successful project.. Which i think i know why your here"she replied knowingly with a warm smile.

Jaki laughed slightly stepping forward"i am because i…got it done…though*yawn* i've schedule your visit early this morning. At.."he stopped yawning again wobbling a little from his lack of sleep. As he did adam qucikly caught him as he stumbled forward groaning a little but laughed slightly.

"Oh great my dad went crazy. I'm guessing you made a new weapon you wanna show off or whatever"eria coldly said

But jaki laughed at that as adam hoisted him up helping him get out of his clothes real quick revealing him in his usual attire. Then he guided him over with neptune help to sit on the couch but the blue haired boy noticed the structure of the case piercing it together.

"Ummm i think it isn't a weapon"neptune stated which made eria wonder if her father made something as she glanced toward her uncle with wide eyed.

"Wait…don't tell you.."she was stopped as he presented the case in hand that was made of wood with a dark purple varnish on it. With golden latches on it with one thing engraves on the front"property of Dravan Hayley"it said as dravan was very curious right now. The jackal walked over gently taking the case from his brothers hands holding it for a moment.

"So can i take a look at it or what?"dravan asked with a smile as his tail began to wag in a fluid motion.

"Sure…though if your wondering alex got that plate done. Your schedule to head to his clinic for a quick surgery."jaki said exhausted as he leaned against calida with heavy eyes as she sighed patting his head smiling happy he did this.

"Just get some rest frosty, then we'll head to the clinic to see how it went"calida replied as that sounded nice as if immediately he passed out snoring peacefully leaning against his wife.

Dravan stared at the case in hands swallowing nerovusly as he carefully sat down undoing the latches. As he opened the case to reveal the contents within which revealed a muscular looking prosthetic arm to match his muscles. While it was in a dark purple material with black lining it along with the joints. Though their was a circular piece on the palm which made him curious. But he noticed something engraved on it reading it.

"Dravan Hayley my dramatic brother"he read aloud as he had tears beginning to stream down his face. Verona covered her mouth actually very happy right now wondering if he could actually have his other arm as she had a warm smile. Raven felt a little content seeing that as calida had tears running down her face smiling.

"This is amazing…oh i'm so happy for you dear…you'll get to hold your little girl with both arms"Calida cried, presenting luna who bleeped a little reaching for her mother. Verona took her smiling holding her close.

"I guess he will, though we should start heading over their to meet up for this surgery"verona said but as they were gathering their things getting ready. Oscar could feel a presence staring at him right now as he looked toward the source. That being nina holding snickers in her hands with a leash on her neck.

""Umm miss do you need something?"oscar asked as nina leaned forward placing her hands together with the dog still on her lap.

"No. just surprised for our family oldest ancestor close friend to pick someone so young to reincarnate in"nina suddenly said to them all.

"Well oscar is very young….what did you say?"eria questioned surprised right now. Raven was too though she recalled something about the infernal guanlent being in this family guessing she might know about.

"She right uhhh lady are you senila or something"neptune questioned earning a jab in the side from eria as he held his side rubbing it for a moment.

"Vasilla has a point. Dear is your old age finally catching up with you maybe you should see a doctor"calida said earning a smack on the wirst from her mother law as she rubbed her wrist.

Nina huffed"no. Just that frederick left in our family notes about someone who went by many names. I'm a smart women because its surprising to beacon former headmaster alive again"She said

All of them were caught off by her saying that she even knew about his reincarnation.

"How the heck did you know?!"falk proclaimed pointing at her as lazuli dragged him down covering his mouth. As neptune blinked looking very weird at them as calida looked very strange at all of them. Jaki was still sleeping peaceful on the couch as his wife tucked him in with a blanket.

"Thats crazy no way hes the headmaster of beacon that guy bite the dust in beacon tower. Your crazy"neptuen said. As in oscar head ozpin thought of one thing that might give the women clarity.

"Oscar allow me to take over"ozpin replied. Oscar went stiff like before as his eyes glowed slightly as he had the same green tint in his eyes. Nina noticed his changed in poutre with the tint of green in his eyes confirming her theory.

"Its no trick strange how you say this. After you team ZERO, RWBY and your leader fought a mechsuit one night."ozpin replied which made adam frown at that night.

"Don't remind me of that night. Still surprised we even managed to steal an atlas mechsuit that night"adam replied but eria glard at him a little.

"You also cut my leader hands up…remeber"eria codly said earning a stare from lazuli which made him turn away from her gaze feeling the disappointment.

"Uhhhhh how did he know about that?"nepune asked

"Oh my god this is funny. Funny joke you all who put this up because for starters i'm not laughing"Calida said thinking this was a joke as ozpin thought of something.

Ozpin chuckled"it simply no joke. If you want i can prove it because i recalled one day back in beacon academy."ozpin started glancing toward calida who was a little creeped out right now.

"That you and kali had gotten in a scuffle with glynda long ago. If i recall it was over a small little wager on who was the most flexibility. Which in result kali won with you tearings your hamstring and glynda unable to place her leg behind her head"explained catching her very much offguard that he even knew that. She never told anyone that except for her husband and her cat faunus friend including thetis.

Calida blinked for a moment shocked"how did you even know about that! The only people who knew was me, kali, theits, glynda and professor…ozpin after he caught us"calida siad realizing who was infront of her.

Raven sighed slightly"i'm guessing your family had known about this for a very long time"raven replied

Nina nodded as she placed her hands together"i have for a long time. A trade secret in our family about how that immortal relative of mine knew of a wandering knight who saved her only child that survived a fire. "She paused before glancing toward raven who noticed this wondering if her ancestor caused this family harm. Weiss noticed this to.

"Wait don't tell us that…one of ancestors was the jealous blacksmith"Weiss asked scared as eria was very caught offguard hearing how one of her friend might have caused her family harm.

But ozpin declared the opposite"try taiyang xiaolong family. If memoeire serves me right kaiyang xiaolong was the one who did it. Trapping her in that glove…and killed her family right infront of her"ozpin stated catching them all offguard.

Lazuli was caughtoffguard to hear that yang ancestor was the one to kill someone long dead ancestor. Eria was also shocked hearing that yang actually hurt her family, she doens't really hold any grudges since it was long ago. Raven placed her hand on omen.

"If your seeking vengeance then your going through me"raven state firmly ready to brawl.

"Oh i don't hold any grudges to you. Its just a warning…watch out for that women. She depises the xiaolong family."nina warned with worry it seems.

Neptune blinked rubbing his eyes picnhign himself all over to see if he was dreaming right now but yelped because he wasn't.

"Okay we aren't dreaming….because seriously how is that guy still alive?"neptune questioned pointing to the headmaster occupying oscar bodie.

"Every hear of the man with two soul?"bashira asked as he nodded

"Thats your simply answer because for starters we could explain the rest of it. But…its kinda of a need to know thing. But we'll give you bits and pieces if the headmaster is fine with it"bashira replied

Ozpin stepped forward with his hand behind back"it'll be fine , who knows maybe i'll even check on the crosby family or even the rhodes. I've met their ancestors long ago"ozpin stated which caught their attention a little.

Eria especially to hear that he knew perun ancestors which made her wonder, who else ancestors has he ran into over his long life.

"Wait…whos ancestors have you ran into over the years?"eria questioned which made them wonder if hes met their.

"She right, did…did you meet one of mine?"falk asked very intrigued they haven't brought this up yet.

Ozpin shook his head"i can explain later, for now we need to make haste. Because for starters i'll be coming to the rhodes family clinic. They hold something that i may need"he said releasing his hold on oscar as he lost the glint.

"I'm not going to get used to this am i?"oscar asked

"Probably not, but we should get going because i wanna check on my daughter. Once that done we'll make our next move"raven said as they all nodded in agreement heading off to the clinic for that.

Though right now in the tanin household adder was in some casual attire. That being a pair of black jeans with a belt with a serpent belt buckled golden color. While he wore a green long sleeve shirt underneath a dark blue coat. The snake glanced outside at the snow hissing in annoyance.

For starters he cold blooded but he lucky the clothes he wears has been woven in fire dust which was very costly. But right now he was going to make a call to a certain someone right now as he made sure the door was locked.

Then he walked over to the bookcase pulling the fake book to undo its pressure plate. It opened as he stepped over grabbing one thing that being an orb.

The snake faunus began to channel his aura into it to call his employer and his queen.

"My queen. I call for an audience"adder replied

The ball glowed a dark red and black as smoke came out of the ball and before long a pale figured appeared before her in the smoke. It was salem.

"Ah Tanin what do i owe the pleasure, i take it you were successful in what has asked of you?"salem asked motherly as adder bowed on one knee hoping his family didn't hear this.

"A thousand apologies my mistresses. But…unofrtunaly i've ran into a snag after four days of my task"Adder paused making salem pause for a moment.

Then an unamused look came to her face that looked very disappointed as he felt her disappointment as he hoped she won't kill him.

"Adder, you were tasked to stall those factories or destroy do you not want to honor our deal. What i offered you?"salem asked knwoignyl

Adder flinched at that because he really did want what she offered him a chance to kill the schnee family for what they did. Branding him like hes some sort of property along with taking his older sister who took care of him and emie in those mines.

Adder hissed a little"no…no its just…i received severe injuries right now. And i may need time to heal from my wounds"he replied hoping she wouldn't kill him right now.

Salem thought for a moment as she let out a disappointed sigh in the orb.

The snake thought for a moment nodding"yang xiaolong, daughter of one of the branwhen leader but i injected her with my venom"adder replied which peeked salem interest very much as she chuckled which confused him.

"I may actually forgive your mistake, because had gotten word of raven being our spring maiden"salem replied catching him offguard slightly that she wasn't mad which made him feel very much relieved.

"A-a-are you saying…i…didn't fail you?"he asked heasitnly as a warm smile like a mother came to salem face.

"No you haven't. But if their here i want you to find out where their going. You could capture her yes, but she has more allies. Selket already succeed in giving us more grimm knights"she begun peeking his interest hearing their were more of those freaks.

"But for now figure out where their heading and tell me. You may spend time here in your home to rest, then head immediately to havan to regroup for the attack"Salem ordered as he nodded.

"It shall be done"adder said as salem vanished from his sight. Adder felt very relieved right now that she wasn't mad as all he needed to do was find out where their heading. But soon a knock came to his door as he closed the hidden passage up.

"Addy where heading to the park for today, why don't you come with?"emie said on the other side as he thought about it nodding.

"That sounds pleasant i'll come"adder replied deciding to come up with a plan as he spent time with his family that he needed to protect.

Though across town right now raven and company were walking over as the women was particularly bee lining for the clinic. Already waiting for them outside was weiss and carmen as the schnee greeted the group.

"Oh hello raven, i take your here to…"she was stopped as raven walked right past her into the clinic. That was rahter rude but she guessed she wanted to see yang.

Carmen huffed as her tail flicked"well that was rather rude, whats she in a rush for"she replied

"Probbaly being that her daughter is inside. Along with us coming here for surgery"verona said as the two noticed their group but it peeked weiss interest hearing surgery be mentioned.

"Wait surgery…you don't mean…"she said as eria nodded before dravan opened the case presenting the prosthetic arm in hand.

"That i'm getting a new arm!"dravan cheered smiling as his tail wagged in a fluid motion.

"Yeah though i'm guessing whitley already inside right now"lazuli asked

"Yep he is, probably checking over miltia right now to treat her wounds. Though…it'll probably be pretty crowded in their"carmen suggested but swayed her hips a little for a bit. Which made lazuli wonder something as calida shared a teasing look.

"Hmm what are you suggesting dear? That we all go grab a bite to eat?"calida asked

Though the horse had a different idea"nah we can grab a bite after that guy surgery is done to celebrate. Theirs a park close by it might be relaxing to enjoy some hot coco taking a walk. Helps speed up time"she suggested as some of them thought about that.

"Sure i'm down kinda wanna explore argus haven't visited in a long time"bashira stated peeking neptunes interest immediately.

"Oh i'll come i'm pretty much a native of the place"neptune boasted volunteering with a smirk as eria smirked herself.

"I'll come too i may have to keep a hood on. But it'll be nice for some fresh air anyone else?"weiss asked as most of them wanted to go inside to check up on yang. But emerald, lazuli and bringing luna along to the park. Nina came as well bringing snickers as the dog was in a bright orange sweater.

It wasn't a very long walk about five minutes until they arrived at a park. It was a simple and decent size park with a couple trees covered in light snow. Their was also a small playground with kids running around it with a sandbox covered in snow. Along with a few small building that may be recreation areas. In the center of it all was a gazebo standing their making it feel like a slice of a snowy paradise.

Weiss took a deep breath in exhaling"this is nice. I can't remember the last time i was outside just enjoying the snow"she said

"Hmm about two years ago if i think about it."carmen recalled as the heiress did recall that when she mentioned it. They went on a small trip with her family enjoying the park building snowman together and snow angels. But jacque came their as if on coincidence but he knew they were their as he did some dumb PR stunt to make himself look like a caring family man. That will be the day.

"Man you can't beat the scenrayr here. But seriously is it always cold here?"emerald asked again for the hundredth times because she felt like a popsicle out here.

Neptune shrugged his shoulder"hey you get used to it out here. Because try being here in the middle of a blizzard"he replied

"Heh try living in atlas during cold nights in the…mines"Carmen said as her tail drooped a little. Luna was with bashira right now as the bat faunus was trying to make a mini snowman but was failing a little at it.

Lazuli noticed ther trouble look recalling something she used to be an SDC miner back in the day. But now served the SDC family as a loyal friend as she thought of something to distract her from her upset past.

"Well maybe you could get warm….maybe even ask out someone named whitley schnee"lazuli teased making carmen face turn red hot as her tail began to flick around like crazy. Emerald and neptune both shared looks for a moment piercing it together she likes him.

"Wait…you like that scrawny guy?"neptune asked making the horse faunus snarl slightly at him.

"The guy aint scrawny! Hes got a alot of guts for taking those punishments from that devil jacuqe schnee"carmen said before covering her mouth in shock hoping no one heard her luckily no one was close by. But neptune looked very weirdly at her for a moment than glanced toward weiss who was visible shaking not from the cold but from something else.

Then he narrowed his gaze"is that why you guys ran away from atlas? Because i may be dense but i'm also a friend"he reminded which made feel weiss slightly safe. They stayed in silence for a moment as the arctic faunus sighed.

"Look we can explain later but–"weiss was stopped as someone accidentally bumped into her causing her hood to come off from the blowing winds. They felt small as she didn't know her hood fell off.

"Hey you good ice queen?"emerald aksed

Weiss rubbed her side"oh i'm fine because i think someone…"She stopped as she turned around to see who it was. She went wide eyed to see bazz their sitting on the ground rubbing his head in the snow for a moment.

Nina handed snickers to neptune as he held the small dog wriggling in his arms for a bit. Then she helped him up to his two feet.

"Are you alright dear?"nina asked softly as bazz grunted slightly but emerald looked at him for a moment feeling like shes seen him somewhere before. Though the rushing of footsteps in the snow could be heard as someone scooped him up as Adder had a scared look across his face. But also a glare keeping it directly toward weiss as he hissed at her, but emerald went wide eyed.

"Adder?"emerald said catching them all offguard all on the defense now wondering what this is leading to.

Seems the return of bazz along with his mother emie are relatives of adder tannin. Though it seems that nina figured out oscar is ozpin since their family were long friends with him. With dravan also getting a new prothestic arm cursitiy of his it seems they encountered adder again. Thanks for reading!
