Chapter 87: cheering up
It wasn't a long walk to the jail in the faunus village, maybe thrity minutes as zoey and kali entered the jail. All the guards were hard at work as usually it seems making sure to keep their people safe from harm. But at the front talking a few guards was saber.
"Okay, you three head to the dunes to see anything about those grimm in the area. That settlement hasn't reported anything since, but we aren't taking risk with any more of those slavers around. "Saber begun as the guards intensively listened to their captain.
"Theirs also keeping an eye on the inhabitants here, but if any of those attacker remain. Your to either bring them in for questioning, if they attack you have permission to terminate them"saber finished as the three guards nodded then walked off to go complete their task.
The captain sighed setting his clipboard down grabbing a fresh pot of coffee as he poured it. But he looked up noitcing the two approaching.
Saber smiled"hey kid back in uniform, this place wasn't the same without you"he replied drinking his coffee.
"Yeah well I needed a break to watch out for my family. "Zoey replied
"Understandbale but what brings you two here today, here to talk to roland and his group?"saber asked taking another sip.
"Actually yes we are, along with releasing them today."kali replied making the captain eyes go wide as he spit his coffee into a trashcan.
"What?! But last night declan and the other said they tried to kill your brother?"he asked
"Thats extacty why, he begged for their release after waking up. It may also make happy as well. We need to get on those two good sides right now"kali replied as he wanted to argue but didn;t.
"Alright follow me to their cells"saber said as he guided them toward roland and his groups cells. They passed by several faunus locked up along with the attackers on their island from not that long ago. The crimson talon grunts and knuckldusters were all in blue prisoner jumpsuits since the jail had some. Most of which zoey locked up.
"You sure this is smart? Because the house could come under attack again"saber warned
"I know, i'd like nothing more for them to rot in jail. But my brother forgives easily."zoey replied as they got to the jail cell he was in. their were two in total fitting all of his hunters and the crocodile faunus himself. They approach roland in his cell as he growled getting close to the bars towering over them.
"What the hell do you want kali here to tell us where going to rot in here?"roland asked annoyed as his giant cordile tail moved around.
"For one show some respect to the chiefitans wife its quite rude"saber warned as roland just huffed slightly bowing then crossed his arms.
"And for starters were here to give you some good news on brother"kali said which peeked his and the other faunus hunters interest. They all assumed that their goal was accomplished.
"Oh let me guess the dumb freak bled out after i shot him"roland smugly said. This made zoey mad as with ease she pulled him down getting him on her eye level.
"You shot him? Your lucky i'm not here to rip your dam tail off"zoey threatened but he wasn't phased by her threats.
"Big deal? Why should i be scared of you again?"he mockingly asked but he looked at his faunus followers backing up the end of the jail cell. They tried to stay hidden or even escape like a grimm cornered them.
"What you all scared of some fricking copper?"he asked
"Ummm you do recall her mother is the savage huntresses as well. The best boxer in the women faunus boxing league and reigning champ…remeber"a female faunus nerovusly said as roland recalled that name. He totally forget this women was known to be very brutal in her fights not even getting in trouble for them. Instead just managed to knock out anyone but not before breaking one of their bones.
"Oh crap"roland said as his large tail flopped to the ground.
Zoey smirked"so you know of my mom rep…but guess what today your lucky day"zoey said as saber walked over with some guards. They unlocked both group cells as they began to undo their shackles to make sure they didn't attack each other.
"Why are you letting us go?"a faunus asked
"Last night you said we'd spend two years in a jail cell in mistral for attempted murder"a male faunus added in air quote.
Roland watched as kali cleared her throat announcing something shocking"well appernelty that boy you attack has persoanlly asked for you too be all released. "She begun as they looked at her not really believing it.
"Your lieing, your just trying to make pity your dam brat"roland said but kali continued
"No, in his words you were just getting penance for the family and loved ones you lost because of him. Saying how he deserves all the hate for even helping cause the tradgey"kali said as this shocked roland.
"Your lying right? No way we should believe a word you say"roland replied but the fox faunus just soften her gaze as she guided them toward the front of the jail.
"Were not…your lucky my brother forgives easily. But if i find any of you near him again…i swear to remnant i'll hang you all by the gallows. Got it"zoey warned as she pulled her kukri out pressing it against his neck as he looked at her studying for a moment until kali spoke.
"Roland dear…we've known each other for years. I'm sure your daughter would be ashamed of you trying to kill someone in her name"kali reminded as the man slightly went wide eyed. He scoffed slightly nodding he'll stay away. They soon gave them their clothes back but not their weapons as they left.
"So now what will you be doing miss vix?"kali asked as the fox faunus scratched her head.
"I'll probably head back to check up on my brother, might as well see how that speech is going."zoey replied as the women agreed as they walked back to the house.
Meanwhile in the market district right now onxyia and company were walking through the market district trying to get some stuff for their friend to cheer them up. Their group mainly consisted of her, sombra, sun, cardin, nadia, emerald, yang,neo. All of them were just chatting on what they should get.
"So what else should we even get the guy?"sun asked
Yang shrugged her shoulder"don't know maybe a book on puns or something"she joked receiving an annoyed look from them but he might like that.
Nadia tapped her chin for a moment"hmm for starters maybe some sweet may do him some good. "She said
Neo nodded at that"yeah maybe even stacy might give you more sweets like last time"she signed which got some interest.
"Umm whos that? What someone give you a bunch of free sweets because of short stack"emerald said gesutring to neo who narrowed her gaze.
"Nah try her being thankful he saved her kids from conri almost snatching them up"cardin corrected recalling that as they were slightly surprised. Although onxyia thought of something else, if he could play the guitar. It might make him happy if he had one.
"You guys go do that, we'll head over to a music store to see if we can find a guitar"onxyia said which made a few of them look at each other.
Sombra grinned getting behind the girl groping her chest"aww you hoping if you get one he'll play that love song for you like he did with your little bunny"she cooed making the girl blush as she got free covering herself up.
"I..i..kinda do but it might make him ha–"onxyia begun as she back pettled and bumped into someone. She fell down onto her back as someone behind her yelped slightly. The wolf rubbed her head slightly as the others were surprised by this.
"Hey you okay down their?"emerlad asked offering a hand recalling a certain scenario that happened when they first ran into each other. Onxyia took it being hoisted up.
"Yeah i'm fine but i think i ran into…someone"onxyia said turning around to see a girl laying on the ground groaning face down. But next to her was an LED mask that fell of her head. Asani groaned slightly as neo was surprised to see her here.
"Ow…ughh what the heck hit me"she said groaning as onxyia felt embarrassed as she quickly helped her up.
"I'm so sorry i wasn;t looking where i was going are you okay?"she asked as asani rubbed her head for a moment nodding. But she felt her head around for a bit freaking out as she started to panic.
"Ah! My mask wheres my mask"she said with worry to their confusion but sun was right next to it picking it up handing it to the girl. Asani quickly took it slipping it back on but neo noticed something, the birthmark on her right eye.
"Umm okay thats not weird at all"sombra muttered to herself finding this strange. But soon enough two faunus rushed over to the girl as the female faunus pulled asani over motherly holding her close while the male stepped forward.
"Oh i'm terrible sorry did our daughter run into you"he replied
Nadia shook her head"no she didn't our wolf friend did but she apolgized to her."she replied but the women glanced at neo and cardin smiling at them.
"Ah you two again its a pleasure to see you again"liz said offering a hand as the two shook it.
"You two know these guys or something?"sun asked as cardin nodded as he crossed his arms.
"We do ran into them a couple days ago while we went searching for our friend. Their new arrivals on the island and this is their adopitve daughter"cardin replied gestuirng to them as they all quickly exchanged plesanetries with each other.
But liz glanced at the group for a moment relizing what sangie wanted them to do early. Although their are quite alot of them here it seems. But sombra looked at the girl who looked very embarrassed as her mask displayed it.
"Hey nice mask did you make that yourself or something?"she asked as the girl mask displayed a surprised emotion then it showed a smile.
"I..i did..but um sorry if you find it weird"she replied nerovusly but the sabertooth waved her hand at that.
"Nah your cool but i'm guessing you wear it because of that little mark you got"she replied which made the girl upset as liz held her close glaring at the girl.
"My daughter doens't like it when people point that out its a very sensitive topic for her"she replied irritated which made sombra just feel a little bad.
"Oh i'm so sorry, but hey despite that you should feel special. That little mark is what makes you unique"sombra reassured the girl who seemed to appreciate it as her mask displayed a smile emoticon. They kept taking for a bit as soon enough they decided to head their separate ways for the rest. But as the three got far enough away they slipped away from them in a nearby alleyway from prying eyes.
Once far enough august reached into his pouch pulling out some explosives as he began to plant them on a nearby wall. While liz grabbed asani by the arm threatening to break it as she winced in pain.
"What did we tell you about running off you dam brat?"liz warned in anger squeezing on her wirst.
Asani hissed slightly"i'm..i'm sorry the drone wasn't working…it was out of range"she argued but the women just kept squeezing.
"That might be true but you almost gave our cover away, how those explosives coming?"she asked as the oeprative placed the explosive in a secret crevices. He pressed some buttons for a bit as he soon armed the explosives as he nodded looking at them nodding. Then he pressed his figner to his ear.
"This is recon squad we planted another explosives in the market district"he said in his earpiece as someone talked to him.
"Good, you have a couple more to plant then renzeovou back at base"sangie said in the earpiece
"Got it, but we ran into the subjects allie do you want us to pursue?"he questioned as the women thought for a moment.
"No i already have yohi tailing those two and they grow suspicious of you. Continue your recon and stay away from them"sangie said as he nodded as they cotninued to do just that. Asani grabbed her remote control continuing to do her recon but she missed asher kindness. But luckily she knew something about those expplosives and she left them another surprise like she did back at that mining town. Though she hoped to talk to those people again maybe she should betray these mercs soon.
Back with the others they split off as onxyia, neo, sombra and sun where looking for a music store. But for nadia and her group they were hedging straight to stacy place. It didn't take them that long as they got their and already hard at work was the women. She was finishing up ringing up a customer as she handed them their order.
"Here you go ma'am theirs your sweet i hope you have a wonderful day'she said to the older faunus who nodded.
"Thank you dear, my grandkids will love this. Here you go for your trouble"she said as she handed the women a twenty lien tip. Stacy nodded as she placed it in her reigesiter as she bowed to her. The old woman began to leave as the dog faunus noticed the three approaching her stall.
"Oh your back again did you manage to give your son those sweets i gave you?"Stacy asked in anticpaitaion as nadia had some bad news.
Nadia rubbed her neck"yeah about that try my friends niece, right when we got back she took them. Sorry"she replied to the women dismay as her tail drooped slightly.
Stacy sighed leaning against the counter"thats fine but word is around town that your son was brought back. Is it true?"she asked as the tiger faunus gentle nodded. This seemed to make the women happy as her tail wagged around. Emerald noticed it guessing she was very grateful he saved her kids.
"You seem very excited that the guys back in town"emerald pointed to her wagging tail.
"Why wouldn't i? He saved my two kids who are very thankful if you want i can give you some more baked good?"she asked as the tiger faunus contemplated for a moment before nodding yes to her. Stacy nodded as she went to do just that walking to the back of the store. While the three waited cardin looked at a few items seeing if yumi might want something. As they waited emerald kept looking at nadia who noticed this.
"Hey kid why do you keep staring at me? Like what you see?"nadia said gesutirng to her bodie as the girl just looked at her weird shaking her head.
"Uhh for starters no i like boys, second its just um you knew amber right?"emerald asked as a somber look came over the tiger faunus face as she rubbed a comprament on her metal arm.
Then she flipped it open pulling out a picture showing her it, emerald looked seeing a faded pictures of her, a polar bear faunus, sienna khan and her friends mother.
Nadia chuckled caressing it"yep i did me and her got to know each very close back in the day"she said smiling slihglty as the red eyed girl thought for a moment. Then it came to her, the women dated her back in the day.
"Wait..you dated cinders mom?"emerald asked as the older women had a small blush form on her face. Cardin was close by as it peeked his interest a little as he walked over.
"Uhh what the heck are you two talking about? I thought you didn't have anyone since you were a single mom?"he asked as the old boxer had a look of embarrassment on her face as her ears tiwtched.
"Eh well back in the day me and my teammate kinda got close. Me and that girl got crazy at times to our partners annoyance. "Nadia said as the two eyed each other, it seems she just like her son in a way.
Emerald chuckled"funny you know she did mentioned she loved someone but was very vague on it always"She said which confused nadia a little but it hurt hearing that since she was dead.
Cardin leaned against the counter"yeah though if you two dated what the heck happened, you two seemed like close friends back in the day since you raided some slaver camp together?"he asked as the boxer just rubbed her arm placing the photo back inside it.
Nadia just looked down recalling something that amber told her before she never saw her again"for starters we were happy for a long time heck after we rescued those orphans. We still dated at the time but ummm i never popped the question. I visited vacou one day about to do it but before i did she told me we should break things off."nadia begun as she looked down upset.
"I didn't know why, she gave me some bullcrap reason saying she needed to go on a mission and she might not come back. But she screamed at me saying she didn't love me anymore and hated my antics"nadia finished with a sad expression but emerald knew the real truth. She must have gone on the run because of her fall maiden powers and didn't want her involved. Soon enough stacy came back with their baked goods as they bidded her goodbye. They soon went off to look with the others.
Back with the others they continued to walk for a bit until they stopped at a small music store. It was a simple music store that had an open garage like door for it. The instruments were on display right now ranging from trumpets, guitar, and drumkits. A few faunus were in the shop pursuing the place. They wanted to but him a guitar to see if it could cheer him up.
Neo zipped around in awe of the place at the variety of musical instruments here. She eyed a violin for a moment as she picked it up examining it which sun took noticed of.
"Hey you play the violin or something?"sun asked as the mute nodded, she did learn to play the violin or was forced too. Her so called parents made her pratice at a very young age to make her their perfect little girl. The mute grabbed the bow as she wanted to play it a little but relaized she might get in trouble. Neo put it back as they began to pursue the store for any guitars they might have they could buy. Sombra kept glancing at sun who examined a small trumpet as he looked inside it. The sabertooth faunus kept looking at him which onxyia noticed as the girl smirked slightly.
"So…you fancy the mischievous sun wukong don;t you?"onxyia whispered to her making the girl blush as she pulled the tall girl down to her level.
"Don't you dare say that outloud, seriously i'm just trying to find a way to ask him out"sombra replied quietly to the wolf sagrin because she found it funny how her old friend fancied the monkey faunus. He was quite mishciovus at times but he can be wise as well.
"I won't but maybe you'll have better luck than me with my relationship"onxyia sadly replied caressing a few of the instrument on the wall. Sombra soften her gaze looking at her because she seemed upset after hearing what her so called ex was going to do for her.
Sombra just walked over as onxyia kneeled down looking at instruments as she leaned her head against her shoulder"hey don't worry i'm sure your little chew toy will accept your feelings again. Your rabbit seems to still love went on and on how much you loved him before he came back from the dead"she reassured
The wolf faunus smiled at that messed with her hair near her eyes"i did…even despite my little deformity he told me my eyes were cute. "She said smiling as her tail wagged a little.
Sombra smiled"yeah you always were teased about it by that jerky weasel faunus"she said as someone close by cleared their throat behind them.
"Oh you mean the guy you clocked you bitch"seth voice said behind them as the two were caught off guard seeing him here. Both stood up immeidlty but onxyia internally groaned recalling something about this store, his family owned it.
Sombra scoffed crossing her arms under her bust"hey jerk kinda rude to talk to your customers like that"she retorted as he just stared them down.
"Hey is this your family store? Because for starters i'm still pissed that you clocked me for just messing with the freak here"seth replied as onxyia visbaled backed up from that. But close by yang was looking at some guitars and overheard them. She narrowed her gaze glaring at him.
Yang walked over pushing him away from them"hey buddy pretty sure you don't talk to your customers like that"she warned as neo and sun walked over glaring at the faunus.
Neo nodded as she pulled her scroll out texting then walked over pushing it into his face"and another thing don't call our friend a freak got it"her text warned with an anger face and knife emoji.
Seth just pushed the scroll away glaring at the five"mind your busy who i call you blonde bimbo"he smuggly retorted making yang eyes flicked to crimson red for a moment. She wanted to clock him so bad but didn't wanna start something. Seth just crossed his arms looking at them.
"So what brings you here to my family store exactly?"seth smuggly asked seeming to show some kindness but onxyia knew that wasn't the case. He was just messing with her like he always does.
Sombra sighed deciding to pity him"for starters were looking to buy a guitar got anything like that for sale?"she asked as he tapped his chin shaking his head.
"Sorry were out of those come back another day when we get them back in stock"he smugly said as close to him was a large rack of guitars ranging from different sizes, colors, types that have a vairtiy of styles. But one stuck out to neo because it reminded her something. It was an electric guitar that was dark blue in color with the neck of it colroed jet black, the strings where colored white. But something reminded her of what their family has it was a decal of a cackling skeleton that had four pairs of cards in hand. They all match the ones her father gave them as kids along with being all aces.
Yang eyes twitched in anger"Are you kidding me? Theirs a whole rack of them right their you jerk!"yang shouted in rage as someone from the back overhead them. They were slowly coming from the back as three other people were their that were looking for the group. But the weasel faunus just rolled his eyes walking away.
"Sorry they aint for sale, now get that freak of a faunus out of my parents shop. Now"seth ordered as the wolf had small tears forming right now as she held her tail stroking it. Yang noticed this as her hair erupted into flames as she grabbed him.
"Listen buddie, quit being a jerk or do i need to throw you through the roof"yang threatened cokcing her fist back as some faunus stared at them. Neo noticed this tapping her on the shoulder gesturing to them.
Yang took a deep breath calming down letting him go"good luck with that, do that and you'll probably be locked up. Besides heard that monster is back in town that freak should be locked up with him"seth started as he had an evil grin looking at the almost crying wolf.
"Besides i overheard you two saying some guy loved her. Who the hell would love an abnormaital with two traits their disgusting. Might make you unique but those eyes too..who'd ever love you"seth taunted grinning as they were getting real sick of him. Onxyia had tears threatening to break because she just wanted to get zane something to cheer him up.
"Just…just stop it please…i just want to buy something. Can you please not do this today. Please"she begged but he didn't care rolling his eyes.
"Nah its fun messing with you because i mean no one and i mean no one will ever love a freak like you"Seth finished his small taunting session as the wolf just let the tears lose. Sombra hugged her consoling her as sun and yang glared at him. Neo was ready to scrap with him until someone decided to speak up.
"Excuse us we have a question for you"a male voice spoke up as they turned to see cardin their looking exclsuivly at seth with a disgusted look. Seth decided to change his tune as he greeted them.
"Oh hello their, yes how can i help you today sir?"Seth greeted but cardin just tapped his scroll in hand staring the faunus down with hate.
"Hmph for starters don't be rude to your customers, i saw the whole thing be a shame if uh everyone got wind of how you treat your customer"cardin said as seth narrowed his gaze.
"What? Thats suppose to scare me human?"seth asked as the former bully smirked presenting his scroll waving it around. Then he decided to play a small video he recorded of their little conversation. This just made the weasel faunus eyes sink his head for a moment trying to snatch the scroll but cardin pulled it back.
"Ah, nope heres the thing jerk, quit picking on someone with a set of unique traits. Along with that i wanna speak to someone else rather than some snobbish jerk. Also pretty sure that guy shes dating loves her for those traits and would beat the crap out of you saying that. Along with her girlfriend, that right she dating two people who find her attractive i'm sure."cardin said as he grinned with a taunting look. Because hes seen and used this tactic before.
"Now i'd like someone else to serve us or else we'll press charges"cardin finished as seth growled at him until someone came forward with a look of hate.
"Seth go to the back right now, i told you to stop picking on customer you have one more warning"a female said as he tried to argue but she glared at him as he retreated to the back.
The women in question had some weasel ears on her head along with claret colored hairs. she looked to be maybe twenty three and had a slender build to her. Also her eyes were dark gray as she wore some black jeans and a dark red wool sweater with red heels.
"I'm so sorry about him, my dam brother doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut"she replied
Emerald scoffed"Thats your brother seriously guys got some issues. He needs to learn a lesson"she stated as the women sighed
"I know but heyya kid you doing alright over here?"she aksed onxyia who sniffed rubbing her eyes as she got rid of the tears.
"I am…thank you clare, i just wish he would stop being so rude because of my traits"onxyia replied as the women known as clare and older sister of that annoyance nodded.
"Well seth a certieifd idiot, but you guys need help looking for a guitar. Because i'm guessing your getting something for your lover"clare said pointing to onxyia who blushed slightly.
Sombra chuckled"yeah she is, guess she proved your dumb brother wrong by getting two of them"she replied as she nodded but onxyia hoped she would still have a boyfriend today.
"Besides that what are you looking for we got acoustic and electric guitars right here for your musical interest"clare said presenting the rack as they looked at it. But neo then tugged at her aunts sleeves to get her attention as she looked at her.
"Yeah whats up, what you wanna buy something too?"nadia asked but neo shook her head as she pointed to the guitar she saw early. Nadia looked at it smiling slihglty as she smirekd seeing that. It looked like the perfect instrument for her kid to use. The tiger faunus whsitled at the wolf as she gesutred to it.
Onxyia looked at it for a moment relaizing it was perfect"umm i'd like to buy that one over their please"She said pointing to it as clare nodded. She produced a key unlocking the case it was in pulling it out as they walked to the register to pay for it.
"Alright this is usually three thousand lien but i'll knock it down to fiften hundred lien for dealing with him. Shame part of his allowance will go missing"She said grinning as they didn't seem to mind. Onxyia though ears flopped over because that was still quite alot.
The wolf looked embarrassed slightly as she looked at her wallet seeing she only had five hundred"umm what if i say i'm very short on cash"She said to their dismay but neo came to the rescue handing the girl a lien card.
"Here take this, if this will cheer our cousin up you can borrow from the family. But you gotta pay it back in interest"neo signed with a cocky grin as nadia smirked patting her head.
"Eh she doens't have to do that, just take it as a gift kid"nadia corrected as onxyia smiled nodding as she payed for the guitar. But clare showed a nifty feature on the guitar that being it can fold up for easier carry access. Along with it functioning as both an electric and acoustic guitar. Once they were outside onxyia looked at cardin before suddenly hugging him.
"Whoa umm this is kinda sudden don't you think"cardin replied shocked by this as yang snickered at it.
"Hey relax wolf ears your cheating on your boyfriend and girlfinred with a really ugly guy"yang teased making cardin stare at her but the wolf let the embrace go.
"I..i just wanted to say thank you…and i'm sorry for calling you out on your bullying back in the day. I know you.."before she finished he put a hand up stopping her.
"Relax i know you were just mad that night. I don't blame you for how you acts alright, i did hurt most of your team back then. All except for eira"cardin said as emerald tapped her chin chuckling slightly.
"Hey when we get to mistral just steal that metal leg of hers."emerald said as he rolled his eyes considering it but not really.
"Despite that lets continue the search to cheer the guy up. Then meet back with the others later at the house"sun stated as they nodded in agreement heading off into the island to gather more items to cheer their friend up. But they also wondered what the others were up to right now.
Meanwhile in an open area that miyuki has been training with summer at lately. The current winter maiden was waiting for what summer wanted to show her early while naca kept guard for any oncoming danger that may attack them.
"Ok so now what? You wnated to show me more of my powers"miyuki replied
"Yes but you won't need your weapons. This time i'll show you something your maiden powers can do"summer stated as miyuki unholster her weapons and placed them to the side. They walked to the center of the area.
"Okay now i want you to draw out your power again. Grasp hold of it and show me it"summer stated
Miyuki only nodded as she took in a deep breath before letting it out slowly closing her eyes. She felt deep inside that power again was still their as it rose through her body. She then opeend he eyes as two blue flames surrounded both her eyes as her winter maiden power came to life. Summer smiled as did naca seeing this power.
"Alright. You've been able to create snowstorms and ice shards but their more to that. You can manipulate the power to your will more importantly try manipulating it toward your feet"summer replied
Miyuki gave her a confused look"why should i do that?"miyuki asked
"True me. You'll like what happens next"summer added. Miyuki did as she was told as she closed her eyes and concentrated her power toward her feet though she didn't know what the purpose was for. She felt the energy build in her feeling something coming toward het feet. Suddenly ring sof fire surrounded them as they ignited underneath her which lifted her gently in the air.
Summer gave a smile as naca jaw slihglty dropped as summer spoke up"okay you can open your eyes now"summer said
Miyuki opened her eyes and she immeialty saw what was happening. She looked down and saw summer and ance looking up at her. She was floating in the air

"Yes, the maiden powers can give you the ability but only if you concentrate hard enough. You can also manipulate weather which you've done but it takes alot of energy. Take your time learning your powers and pratice"summer said
Miyuki nodded as she praticed her newest ability and began to fly about making sure she would see summer out of the corner of her eye incase anything went wrong. While she was in the air she felt free almost completely undrestrained almost like she fly forever if she wanted to. She kept doing to for a bit but from the tree tops nearby a black blur lunged at her but she dodged it.
The two below quickly grabbed their weapons out as miyuki stay in the air flying around. Summer narrowed her gaze as the tall grass moved a little to reveal their attacker. It made her go wide eyed to see a man with armblades coming out of his skin.
"Ahh their you are winter maiden, time to come back your my boss property"yohi said pointing his armblades toward miyuki who gulped nerosuvly.
"You aint getting ehr you freaknaca stated in condifnece as summer nodded as both drew their weapons. The man just smirked at them before he was the frist to attack them to their susprise. Yohi quickly lunged forward delvieirng several slasheed at the two who eeofrtsly blocked his attack. Summer tried to stab at him but he fliped over her slashing at her back dealing some damage to her aura.
Then before he knew it naca rushed in with her uzi and tonfa as she swung at him cracking him in the leg. His knee buckled but he cocked his fist back clocking her in the jaw making her head wipe back. But she wasn't down as she sprayed a hail of bullets into him chipping at his aura several times. Then to their shock he undid his maw to their disgust as he tried to bite down on naca but she dodge it.
Once far back he retracted his maw"aww you don't wanna give me a kiss?"he creepily said as miyuki gagged a little as she kept flying around but could feel herself getting exhausted from flying for too long.
"Blegh heck no ugly"naca said twirling her tonfa as she quickly rushed forward sliding under a slash of his. Then she delivered a strike to his side a few time but soon he dodged out her way. After she tried to strike him again he side stepped her grabbing her wrist disarming her. Then in an instant he snapped her wrist making her cry in pain. Yohi kicked her away as he grinned at summer who used her semblance to get airbourne. Then once she was far enough she dived forward trying to drive her blade into him but he dodged it.
Once she was back on the ground naca held her wrist as it looked awkward as she stood guard to defend her. Summer presented her blade as she stared him down.
"How many of you are their? "Summer demanded as yohi just retracted his armblades before reaching into his pouch. He just wagged his figner grinning at her because he managed to do something.
"Plenty more you silvered eyed vermin, but shame that miss vincent here is hurt. You lost a protector"yohi said as summer was about to rush in to attack him. But miyuki finally touched the ground exhausted panting right now as summer got in a defensive stance as naca held her uzi with her one good arm. Yohi just slowly backed up into the woods disappearing without a trace but not before saying something.
"I've done what i needed to do, tell that science experiment sangie says hello. "Yohi said before he soon disappeared from their point of view. Summer wanted to pursue but looked at the exhausted miyuki and naca. The silver eyed women walked forward looking at naca arm as she quickly grabbed some sticks.
"Okay bite down on this"summer said placing a piece of cloth in the girl mouth. Naca bite hard as summer placed the two sticks on her arm. Then with another cloth she tied it around her arm tight as the girl cried but it was muffled. Soon she finished her makeshift splint as she nodded.
"Alright we need to get back to the house now, then discuss this with the others when they come back"summer ordered as naca nodded picking herself up. Summer helped miyuki up hosting her onto her shoulder as the three ran back to the house hopefully to come up with a plan.
With miyuki honing her maiden powers it seems that salem knows of her identity as the winter maiden. Along with that it seems onxyia had gotten something for her possible still boyfriend. I wanted to cover also on nadia and amber actually being a thing so mother like son I guess. Thanks for reading!
