Chapter 95:Grimm Vs Mechs
The night sky over the island as everyone was still enjoying their peaceful night of rest. But right now sprinting through the island was sangie as she was returning to her base with their last operative.
Already hard at work where her remaining nine soldier as they were pakcing everything up. While close by one of her soldier were hoping into a mechsuit. The suit slowly powered up as it was a 290 paladin battlesuit they stole from an atlas transport ship. Along with that on the end of it was a large flamethrower as the soilder tested it firing a spew of flames.
Asani was their with her tesla rifle out as she saluted the women"uhh captain rupal we've started to pack everything up as order."asani said as the women walked past her as she followed. The girl noticed the passed out zane on the soldier shoulder as she eyed the captain.
"I take it our mission is a success then?"she neoruvsly asked as they walked past the remaining soldier. They were placing suppiles into the ships some of them travels in. while some loaded the two airship they had with them that transproted them here. The captain eyed the girl for a moment scoffing.
"It is but that dam asset tricked us, has abiu returned to base yet?"she asked rather impatient.
"No ma'am he might have ran into a snag back at the house maybe. It was strange how none of them were at the house"she replied as the women didn't care. If they needed to they could just retreat with the one main objective then come back for the winter maiden. They walked over to a test tube as the operative threw zane into it.
Sangie walked over pressing some buttons for a bit before it closed trapping him inside. He was still asleep as she looked toward asani and the soldier.
"You two keep guard, i'm going to see about torching this dam town. The boss wanted us to get rid of their resistance then we will"sangie said as she walked straight on over to the other battlesut. The captain hoped in strapping herself in as she flipped some switches powering it up.
The hatch of the suit slowly closed over as she grinned at the new toy she had. she 'll probably head into town with this and destory as many faunus as she can. But unknown to her close by sneaking through the forest and close to the wall of the base was a raiding party for the base.
The party mainly consisted of summer, nadia,calida,declan, sun, fenix, blake and yang. The seven were ready as they had all their weapons at the ready. In sun hand he had a tablet as the dot kept blinking telling them the tracker was close.
"Alright guess this place is it, not surprised its by the coastline kinda"sun said
Summer flipped her sword holding it"lets just deal with them fast and quickly. The others already dealt with those other three teams. "She replied as they nodded in agreement at that.
"Besides what you got up their guys, got a nice little view of the place?"yang said into her earpiece glanicng toward a hill that was close to the forest. Because ontop of the hill where three certain snipers as may got in a comfortable postiiong her scope zeroing in on the base. She lifted her beanie using her prosthetic eye on the base counting the remaining soldier along with any noticable weakness in their defnese.
The sniper eyed a heavy cailber turret close to the main entrance as she quickly went wide eyed. She saw the two powersuits that were their as she groaned internally.
"Okay are you guys seeing thing or are those powersuits?"may asked the two other snipers as onxyia was kneeling looking down her scope. While verona had her sword out to watch their backs incase anyone sneaks up on them. But she had her spectral bat flying around the place as she narrowd he gaze slightly.
"Nope you aint seeing things kid, we got two atlas powersuits down their. Guess these mercs payed alot of dough for it"verona said as the blue haze from her eye disappeared.
Onxyia just frowned at that recalling the time at the construction yard as she hanged her head in disappointment. One was alot of trouble to deal with but two that are fully functionally pass their prototype stages just spelled trouble.
"You two didn't have to fight one of these before….oh this is going to suck"onxyia groaned reaching for her earpiece.
Back down below as they were waiting for them to respond soon sun heard something from his earpiece.
"Yo wolf ears what do you…"sun stopped mid sentence as a look of dread came over his face. They all looked at him weird for a moment because its like he saw a ghost or something. Nadia just laughed at his face for a moment.
"What kid don't tell me where dealing with some big and ugly in the camp"nadia jokeinlgy asked but the monkey faunus eyed blake and yang for a moment.
"Uhh do you guys remember how we dealt with that giant mechsuit back in vale"sun reminded
Blake ears flopped over slightly"don't tell us were dealing with another mechsuit like we did with ollie?"she asked as he regretfully nodded.
Yang just threw her head back covering her face in disappointment because last time it was very annoying having to deal with one.
"Oh that just great, this time it isn't a prototype we had so much trouble with the last one"yang replied in annoyance.
Fenix chuckled"come now children we can handle it, you got some pro huntsman here. Along with someone from the mighty team SRTQ one of the best teams around back in our day"he complemented summer who chuckled slightly at that as she readied her revolver at the moment.
"We were but those mech are pretty hard to hit, take the guns first then we deal with the soilder. How many are their?"summer asked as the monkey faunus asked them that question. Then his jaw dropped at what he ehard as he looked at the group for a moment. They waited for him to answer as he put up some figner telling them how many their was.
All of them looked at presenting two finger which meant they were going to be in a heap of trouble right now. Blake just groaned covering her face not liking this situation alread. Yang just screamed into her hands to avoid getting to detected. They sat their for a bit as blake recalled someone coming up with a certain plan.
Flashback to early
Back at the house they were in the process of finishing up reviisng the plan as zane looked toward his mute cousin.
"For starters cousin here won't be helping us lure them into a trap. She'll be here pretending to be a certain little uras"zane said gesturing to piper as neo shifted to her appearance to the little girl glee. Then she began to chase her around for a bit as the others looked at him.
"Hmm smart idea they might come to the house to take her"sienna replied holding sorrel in her arms.
"That does bring a good question what about the kids? They might hurt them if they come to the house"calida reminded gesturing to all the little kids in the house.
Zane simply nodded as he looked at falk for a moment before clasping his hands together"take them in your ship a decent aways from the house. You have enough fuel to circle around for a few hours"he asked as falk thought for a moment he managed to repair his ship enough to make a decent fly by over the island. But if they ever wanted to get to havan he needed to make some major repairs to the ship to fix it up.
Falk nodded crossing his arm"yep i can take them around on a little tour of the island if you want"he said which caught piper attention immediately. The uras zipped over jumping in excitement, because she still hasn't gotten her airship ride around the island.
"Are we gonna go on the metal birdy?"piper innocently asked as some of them went aww when she did that. Eden chuckled picking her sister up holding her close.
"We are little sister, don't worry about anything right now"eden said booping her nose slightly making her smile.
Lavi seemed very excited to as she tugged at her mother shirt"can we go too? Because i wanna fly around like we did on our way here"she begged but bastet just gently picked her up joining the group.
"We will but we should still have someone stay with us incase were attacked. "Bastet replied as emerald offered her assistance along with naca and miyuki. Their group was slated to keep the kids out of harms way. But blake looked at the map at the possible hiding spot their base could be which was either the coastline or dunes. The dunes would make sense since its vast enough to keep a base hidden. But their soo much grimm their it might be impossible to keep a base hidde without drawing any unwanted attention.
"Okay though why should we even let them take you? Our entire objective is to prevent that from happening?"she asked
Zane then eyed his lynx eared cousin and cardin for a moment. Then zane made the moment he had jaws as the two clued in what he was implying.
"Oh right i forgot you can control that monster form of yours for a bit"cardin replied which made the group quiet for a bit. Some of them have seen said monster form and it wasn't pretty at all. Because some recalled their previous scufffles with it mainly yang because her head almost got bite off last time.
Aruna seemed invested"wait you mean that giant creepy grimm form the news showed? Bullcrap you can control it"she said as he looked at her for a moment sighing.
"Uhh for starters i can i rather not show it now. Because i can only control it for about fifteen minutes top if my auras at a decent percentage"Zane said looking at his current aura being at around eighty percent. It was a enough if he lets the parasite takes control. But he quickly pulled out some viles as he handed it to some.
"Just incase take one of these, rather not have someone put me down. "Zane said as he then began to explain the next part of his plan.
"We need to let them take me, use the tracker to find their base. Then i go all monster on them causing havoc and chaos. After that we just relax until the assault on havan. Simply and easy"zane finished as they eyed each other hoping this plan wasn't going to get them killed or blow up in their faces.
Present
All of them were standing their quietly freaking out amongst themselves at what they were dealing with. Even summer was slightly as she was deep in thought. While yang just kept pounding her head quietly against a tree in annoyance right now.
"Are you fricking kidding me that many mechs?"nadia whispered in annoyance tugging at her ears threatening to pull them out.
Calida nerovusly laughed"so you all and my daughter dealt with this before right?"she asked
"Uhh try our team and wolf ears with grimm boy, monkey boy here and his hydrophobic friend"yang corrected as sun thought about he wondered what neptune was doing right now. Maybe hes at havan or maybes in shade, he kinda misses his teammate right now.
This didn't help with their moral anymore as they just looked at each other deciding to just this over with. Blake looked toward the hill flashing a small light toward them. It was their signal as verona only nodded. She took aim through her scope as she took a deep breath looking for something to shot. The bat faunus saw some barrels that were marked explosives, she fired her rifle.
Inside the camp the soldiers were just walking around loading up supplies but several explosives went off around them. Immedialty they tried to scramble to regroup for whatever was happening right now. The two mechs just turned around as they tired to get a guess where their attackers are.
"Who the hell is attacking us?"sangie shouted from inside the mech.
As the soldier were scrambles to deal with their attackers`from the front of the camp the others rushed in with weapons drawn. Calida rushed over tiwlring her bo staff as she leaped over the barricades as she whakced a soldier across the skull making them tumble to the ground. A couple fired at her but she quickly deflected them getting behind cover.
With declan and fenix the two huntsman rushed forward toward a few soldier as fenix used his semblnace to grow in size slightly as he quickly grabbed two soldier tossing them into a set of crate. They groaned but he quickly body slammed them hard into the crates knocking them out. While declan took some hits from the soldier that shot at him he quickly grabbed him smiling to the soldier cowaridnis.
The soilder laughed"hey look i only took this job to pay for my kid brother medical fees…spare me?"he asked
Declan looked at him before headbutting him knocking him out"their you only get a concussion"Declan said but he quickly retreated to cover.
With some of the others one of the two mechs started to approach them as it aimed its pulse cannon at them. Blake noticed this lookign toward the others as they were out in the open.
"Get to cover now!"blake ordered as they all scmrbaled to get behind soem rocks and crates. The mech fired at them as they ducked before covered to avoid become shredded to piece. The soldier were easily dealt with as from the ridgline may took aim at one.
The sniper lifted her beanie as she quickly found her target then shot her sniper a s apurple beam came from it. The soldier fell down hard groaning as she quivkly decided to try and take out another one. But then another gunshot went off taking that soldier out then the last one. May looked to her right at the smoking sniper in onxyia hands as she smiled.
May chuckled"guess you are the better shot eh wolf ears?"may replied as the wolf smiled
"I am though we gotta deal with those mechs quickly. Take out the powerback its disbale their weapons"onxyia ordered as the two nodded.
Verona looked through her scope trying to get a good angle but she couldn't as the mech was turned around which made dealing with it alot harder.
She groaned"can't get a clear shot on the dam thing, they need to make it move. The other ones just hanging back from the battle guarding the airships"verona replied
Onxyia looked at the one toward the airship then noticed the tube as she looked worried slightly"i think shes guarding their objective that being my boyfriend. "She said as she pressed her earpiece.
Back down below all of them were trying their best not to get shredded to pieces by the large amount of gunfire from the mech. While they did sun could feel someone talking to him in his earpiece as he pressed his figner to it.
"What wolf ears you got more bad news for us?!"sun shouted to talk to her from all the gunfire.
"No the captain seems to be guarding their precious cargo. But make the mech move so we can take out its weapon"onxyia said making him just not like that idea at all.
Yang ducked her head looking at sun as he turned toward all of them
"So what does our sniper wants now? To tell us they have about ten more of these darn things?"yang jokingly asked but he shook his head.
"No we gotta move that one attacking us so we take out its weapons. Then its easy to deal with"sun replied as summer peaked up from cover looking at their current situation. With her semblance she can draw its fire but with blake she can send some clones along with sun to keep it districted. The leader quickly nodded at what she was seeing as she looked at the others.
"Alirhgt so heres the plan i'll use my semblnace to draw its fire since i have the speed. "Summer said as she looked toward sun and blake
"Sun you use your clones to help keep it distracted along with you blake. With both yours clones hard at work it'll keep it distracted."summer siad as she looked as declan, fenix and calida joined them for cover.
"So whats the great leader of team STRQ coming up with now?"fenix knowingly asked because he heard part of their little plan thanks to his hearing.
Declan loaded a new round into his hunting rifle nodding"fen right it better be a good plan because i rather not be killed tonight"he replied
Summer just gave a small smirk looking at the remaining five"you five just provide covering firing for us so they can take out its weapon pack. Then we deal with the second one"Summer ordered as they all waited for summer to intact their plan. Within an instant summer leaped from the cover turning into a swarm of white rose petals as she quickly manured around in the air.
The mech whirred up its weapons as it tried to shoot at the rose petals. It hit a couple but it kept dodging and weaving around it drawing its fire. Sun took this moment as he smacked his hands together as three gold clones emerged as they rushed forward. One of his clones jumped around as it leaped toward the mechs arms as it began to try and hit it. A second clone leaped toward the cockpit of the mech scaring the pilot a little.
The mech tried to swat it off but its arm coudln't reach as the last clone leaped around on the ground to get its attention. Blake took a deep breath as she activated her semblance summoning one fiery clone, one icy clone and one electrical clone. Yang looked at this a little surprised as she made the gesture for them to charge forward as they did.
"Whoa! When the heck could you do that?"yang questioned as blake gave a small smirk.
"When my semblance evolved after dealing with our ice creamed friend wicked mother"blake simply replied which made yang smirk.
The three clones leaped around drawing its fire while the yellow clone leaped toward it grabbing onto one of its arms. Then the mech moved around bashing that clone and one of sun clones into a nearby wooden wall they constructed. Sun clone disappeared but the yellow clone erupted in electricity as the mech left arm was disabled as it tried to move. But it failed to even move it in an inch.
Then soon enough nadia and the other emerged from cover as they fired their repscitve weapons at it. The mech was overhwleemd as the soldier plioting it was getting very annooyed right now.
"Dam pest hold still!"the soldier said inside the mech
Though on the ridgeline onxyia looked through her scope at the mech that was widley swinging its weapons around. The wolf took a deep breath to focus on nothing but the mech. Soon all she could hear was silence as she closed one eye swallowing nerovusly. She had to make this shot, soon she lined up her sights with the battery pack that was in the full view
Onxyia just closed her eyes as she pressed hard on the trigger as a loud gunshot went off. Time seemed to slow down as the bullet exited the barrel of the rifle. It went flying through the air as it passed a small bug in the air. Then it went straight above the camps walls as it was heading toward it target as it hit the battery pack.
The mech back exploded in a fiery explosive as the soldier rplioitng it was freaking out as the holo displayed told him weapons were dispalyed. He kept trying to fix it until the mech started to stumbled as it whirred with electricity crackling around it until it fell on its back. The hatch to the suit was blown off as the soldier scrambled out of it.
The mech blew up sending him flying to the ground as he groggigly looked up to someone infront of him. Calida looked at him playfully waving before cracking him over the head with her staff knocking him out.
Declan looked at the ridge smiling"nice shoot little cub!"he called out as on the ridgeline onxyia was amazed she even managed to do that. Verona and may looked at her rather impressed with that shot.
"Heh nice shot kid, took down a giant robot"verona complimented
May messed with her beanie slightly"dam the bigger they are…"she said offering a fistbump to onxyia who returned it.
"The harder they fall"She finished as they delta with one mech but their was still the leader of the group. Sangie just growled in her mech as she began to make her way over toward them. She aimed the giant flamethrower as she grinned evily inside the cockpit.
"Burn you dam beast!"sangie said firing a stream of fire at the group as they quickly rushed to avoid it. Then while she did that something bounced off the mech as she turned slightly toward the ridgeline. The women smiled as she aimed the mech other weapon that being a railway cannon.
The cannon started to charge up swloly in a blue hue as the sniper noticed this. Thinking quickly verona shoved the two down the hill as they tumbled down it for a bit. Then verona joined them sliding down the hill kicking some dust off. They got out just in tiem as the railway cannon fired at them as it destoryed the ridgeline they were at.
The three kept descending down the hill as may rolled down the hill on her side for a bit until reaching the bottom. Onxyia tumbled near the end falling flat on her face groanign while verona slide next to them. The two teen snipers glared at the women.
Verona shrugged her shoulder"hey a couple bruises aint gonna hurt anyone besides were alive"she said helping the two up may rubbed her side until feeling something as she winced slightly.
"Oh great i broke a rib…i'm going to feel that in the morning"may said rubbing her sore side.
Onxyia stretched her back cracking as a loud crack could be heard"same here ughh my backs going to have problem for a week now."she said as they quickly grabbed their weapons with them loaidng it as they rushed toward the entrance. But a thought crossed onxyia mind.
"Wait didn't zane said he was going to cause havoc in the base?"she asked
May nodded"yeah the only ones who caused any havoc has been us. What he sleeping on the job?"she replied
"Don't know kid might be trapped still, lets go grab the dumb grimm to deal with that mechsuit"verona said as they three quickly got into the base. Once inside they saw the others trying to attack the mechsuit but sangie punch fenix hard sending him flying into a wall as his aura shattered on impact. Yang kept firing several shot from emeber celica sialing or landing right on the mech.
Then with a flick of her wirst the bombs acitvated and epxloded causing a small smokescreen on the mech. It blindeside the mech slightly as blake was panting after sending two more clones to try and stun it but as they leaped toward the mech. It barely scratched it for some reason. Nadia kept firing her revovler at it growling at the women in anger.
"Dam coward come out and fight us!"nadia shouted in anger as she kept fiireing. Sangie just laughed inside her mech as she fired another stream of fire at the group.
"Nope! Because i'll kill you all then torch this entire island to the ground!"sangie declared evily as she kept firing and trying to punch their group. Verona decided to help them as onxyia and may sprint past the mech to where asani and the soldier was. The soilder riased his rifle firing at them as onxyia delfected the shot.
May lifted her sniper up to fire at them but as she did the soldier soon erupted in an eletrical current. The two were suspriesd as they fell down to look at asani aiming her tesla rifle at them. The masked girl and the two looked at each other as she gently waved at them.
"Umm i..i don't mean any harm alright"asani said stuttering.
May smiled slightly slinging her rifle"seems your not so bad kid, let me guess your one of their slaves aren;t you?"She asked as the girl masked displayed a sad emoticon as she gently nodded telling them yes.
Though onxyia rushed over to the tube to see the still sleeping zane as she narrrowed her gaze. She quickly saw a handprint scanner on the keypad as she grabbed the soldier limp bodie. Then she placed his hand on it as the tube scanned it for a bit before opening.
The tube opened as steam came from it as she pulled zane limp bodie out. She snapped her figner a few times to wake him up to her annoyance.
"Ughhh you dumb grimm hybrid you come up with this plan and you don't even do your part. "Onxyia said as she tried to think of something to wake him up. As she did asani just walked over placing her finger on him zapping him a little.
Zane jotled awake from the sudden shock as he rubbed his neck"ow! What the heck…i was having a decent nap for once"he said yawning before looking at the three as may narrowed her one eye.
"For starters you came up with the plan to take this camp down. Now we need you to go monster to deal with the second giant mech"may said pointing toward the small battle going on behind them. Zane was surprised to be dealing with a mech again like last time but he quickly got up as he removed his bracelet tossing it to onxyia.
Then he slowed his breathing down as he let the grimm parasite take control as is eyes shifted to crimson red. Immediately he felt pain in his bodie as his breathing became erratic but he just smashed the ground with one hand. Spikes started to pop out of his back to some disgust, then he grew talon like claws from his hands. He screamed a little because it was rather painful at times but soon he started to grow in size as a large tail emerged from his behind.
After a couple minutes he soon let out a monstrous grimm roar which got some attention as nadia looked over at her son being a grimm like monster.
"Okay now i'm very worried if he's going to kill us"she said since she was close to them nerovusly laughing.
Onxyia held the syringe in hand just incase he tried to attack them but to their shock the grimm like creature just got on all fours like a dog. Then it just scratched its back of its head with its hind leg.
May was very surprised about this"whoa, thats what this monster form of his is. I'm just gonna say it this will do some damage"she said as the creature making a cracking noise before to her surprise it spoke.
"Agreed"it said as they covered their ears from it because it sounded like nails scrapping against a chalkboard.
"Arghh! My ears seriously its sounds like you ate a bunch of nails"nadia replied as the creature chuckled at her in a distorted laugh. But soon it looked toward sangie in the mech as she smacked away yang as she lunged toward it with a war cry. The blonde went flying into some tents as blake looked worried.
"Yang!?"blake called out rushing over to her aid moving the tents around to find her. Until eventually she did to reveal the sort of okay blonde. Because she had held her side in pain as she was hoisted up.
"I'm fine kitty…though…that fricking hurt"yang replied holding her side as blake pulled her up wrapping an arm around her shoulder to help keep her blance. The mech suit pilot just kept laughing like a manic as she kept firing a stream of fire at them.
"Run while you can after i'm done here my paycheck will be–"Sangie stopped midsentance as something tackled her to the ground. The mech rocked around as she luckily was strapped in. but the women narrowed her gaze before something appeared in the mech window. She looked seeing a grimm like creature growling at her as it roared at her.
The women tired to make the mech move but the creature used its tail to wrap around one of its leg. It squeezed hard with it putting enough pressure on it to smash it in half. Then she tried to burn it but the creature bent nozzle as the barrel of it glowed red it blew up destroying another one of its weapons.
The others regroup looking at the creature easily dealing with the mech as they stared in confusion and amazement at this.
Calida panted slightly"So…that what…you all meant by him turing into a grimm..creepy"calida said panting still
Sun panted too"yeah but…dang…he can do some damage with that? He took down a mech within minutes' 'sun said amazed they have a grimm on their side.
"At least you didn't get your head almost bitten off by him."yang said recalling that night because she hopes it doesn't happen. But nadia looked at declan who had a wild grin on her face as onxyia noticed it to. The wolf groaned guessing what her father wanted to do with him.
"Please don't tell me you wanna fight him while hes in that form"onxyia asked as the older wolf just maybe had that crazy idea in his head.
"Oh you think he will? Because this will be an interesting fight bear handed!"declan cheered in anitcpation if he could fight the kid like that. Fenix chuckled at that leaning against a box exhausted right now.
They watched as the grimm like creature opened it maw tearing off the other arm slowly. The arm was slowly being ripped off until eventually it was as it spit it too the side. Then it smashed open the cockpit tearing out its occupant who struggled in its hold
Sangie pulled out a combat knife stabbing it in the hand"let me go you dam beast! If you don't i'll fucking kill you!"she screamed in rage as the creature rolled its sort of eyes. Then as a joke it licked the women covering her in spit. But it began to gag before throwing her toward the others.
As she was thrown to the ground her bright green aura shattered in a hue as she groaned looking up. She looked up seeing nadia staring at her as she cracked her tiger faunus lifted her up grinning at her.
"Hey hows it going their? Not so tough without your little mechsuit now are you?"nadia asked but the women wasn't fazed as she hocked back spitting in her face. She wiped her face off as sangie just laughed.
"You don't scare me…you mad that i broke some dumb kids b–"sangie couldn't get a word in as nadia punched her across the face. She threw her to the ground as she started to wail on the women. The other backed up scared slightly as the creature looked scared even whining a little. The tiger faunus kept punching her hard as she kept doing it her hands were soon soaked in blood.
Summer noticed this walking forward placing a hand on her shoulder"Thats enough! The women had a enough she might have info on the attack on havan"summer said but nadia threw her hand off as she kept contiusoly plummiling the women. Declan walked over tearing her off the women to reveal sangie heavily bruised and beaten face. The women coughed up a little until she coughed a tooth up.
Nadia took a few deep breaths to calm down as she spit on sangie face"that what you get you bitch"she growled as the creature soon turned into a pile of goo soaking a couple of them. Calida just pulled some goo off in disgust as sun wiped his eyes from it.
"Okay seriously that nasty"sun said as onxyia walked over shifting through the goo pulling out the sleeping zane. They all looked at each other for a job well done as they decided to return to the house.
Early at the house on the rooftop of the belladonna home an intense battle was going on. Mainly because on the rooftop was a panther as it roared at yohi who kept trying to slice at it with his armblades. But a couple explosion went off hitting him knocking him back a bit. Neo glared at him as she ready hush for another attack. The other soilder layed down on the roof groaning as ilia glared at the assassin
"Your going to pay for hurting my girlfriend"ilia declared as yohi grinned at her scrapping his armblade together as small sparks appeared.
"Awww your mad that i paralyzed that dumb faunus…she got lucky"yohi grinned evily bringing out his maw as neo looked disgusted by it.
"She lucky i didn't tear her limb from limb, the feeling of slicing off someone limbs. "Yohi said in bliss it seems because he loves the feeling of slicing off someone limbs while their still alive. Ilia just gripped her whip tighter in hand glaring at him.
The panther growled a little as it lowered itself to pounce as it pounced toward yohi. The assassin blocked it strike but the panther swiped at him sending him flying into ilai. The chameleon faunus cocked her fist back punching him sending him flying to the side of the house. But he quickly dug his armblades into the side but his aura finally shatter in a dark green hue.
Yohi panted severely as he placed his hand on his radio"rupal evac now! Dam bastards are making this tougher than it has to be"he said but no one respond yet until someone did.
"Uhh yeah about that that chick kinda beaten to a pulp"sun said on the other end as the other heard this. Neo smirked at him because they won as the assassin just glared at them. The three slowly surrounded him ready to take him in.
"You have no where to run i suggest you give up"ilia stated crakcing her whip but yohi just stood up as he began to laugh manically for a bit. Then he eyed the edge as he just placed his arm up then to their shock he leaned backward falling.
The three rushed to the edge as they looked over seeing his body sprawled out as blood poured
beneath it. They looked disguted by the sight as they quickly reentered the house with the unconcsioi soldier. Once inside kali was waiitng for them as the panther walked forward as she petted it to its annoyance.
"Aww don't be annoyed you look so darn huggable like this"kali cooed as the panther soon started to revert back as the tail slowly dipspeared as it shrunk in size. With quick thinking neo threw a blanket over it. Then jazmine poked her head out holding it tight to cover her naked form.
"For starters i know i am, second that assassin killed himself"jazmine replied
"Thats a shame, he might have valuable intel on him. No matter lets round up these soldiers then call a night"sienna replied as they began to gather up all the soldiers and operatives.
An hour later they all gathered up as guards were sent to dismantle the camp. While some others were loading up the soldiers and operatvies on a ship they had. Lisa provided it along with some guards while nix volunteered to take them to vale. Sangie though was pretty messed up for some reason, but they sent her with them.
All of them were at the house as a few of them where making dinner for the night. While they celebrated their successful victory.
"Oh man you should have seen us fighting those two mechs. It was something"sun replied drinking some tea.
Sombra laughed leaning against him"i'll bet can't believe you guys have fought atlas mech those things are tough"she replied but eyed her mother who looked at the two for a moment, she looked very disapproving of the two but gave a small smile.
"Its about time you found someone dear, if your father was here he probably ask him to wrestle"lisa said offering a hand to sun who took it.
"Don't worry ma'am i'll uh make sure nothing happens to your daughter"sun replied as he felt her squeeze his hand very tight making him wince.
"Oh you better, if you hurt my little girl i'll rip your tail off"lisa emphaized with an eerie grin as sun nodded. Once his hand was released he rubbed his very sore hand. Sombra nerovusly laughed hoping her mother wouldn't kill her new boyfriend.
Close by though was sienna, nadia and kali along with a few others looking at asani. The poor girl felt very nervous being oggled at because for starters they were trying to come up with an idea what to do with her.
"So from what we gathered you were a slave that was owned by those mercnaries correct?"sienna softly asked
The young girl nodded holding her helmet"i..um..yes..look i can perform most household duties. How can i–"she was stopped because they weren;t going to do that.
Kali placed a hand on her shoulder making her jump slightly"dear for starter we don't like using people like their some sort of tool. Their are faunus here who are ex dust mine workers, for starters where are your parents"she asked
But this just mad the girl mask display an anger emoticon as she hugged herself shaking in rage"they…they can go die for all i care…their the ones who sold me to them"she said which just shocked some of them that someone own parents would do that.
Calida glared hearing that as she held piper who was still very excited after her airship ride around the island. She was playing with the girls hair for a bit doing some pigtails.
"That terrible, for starters were not taking you back to them."calida reassured
Sienna nodded drinking a cup of tea setting it down"yes though how long ago did you say you were in their clutches again?"she asked
"I..i was sold at the age of five..i think i'm…fourteen now"asani nervously replied because shes never been showed this much kindness before. Asher showed her some kindness but it felt nice actually she was being treated like this. Nadia just soften her gaze looking at the poor girl as she had a small thought cross her mind.
"Hmm you know i could just take you in? I've always wanted another daughter"nadia stated which surprised some including her daughter who choked on her drink. Zoey pounded her chest as neo stared at her aunt for a moment.
"Wait are you actually considering adopting another kid?"neo signed with a surprise face
"Yeah no offense mom but uh why do you wanna adopt another kid?"zoey asked but kind understood already. She wanted to give her what she gave her and her brother a family, and a loving home.
Nadia just reached over gentle to the girl who flinched but she just removed her mask to reveal her face. It was a simple face but asani covered the birth mark on her eye. She was expecting the women to find it disgusting but nadia removed her hand from her face.
"You don't need to hide behind some dumb mask, for starters i want to show her the same kindness i showed you too. "Nadia said before pulling the girl over hugging her close as her head was shoved into her bust.
"And she looks so darn huggable"nadia squealed as sienna chuckled at her partner because she always did find small and cute things to be her weakness.
"Alright we won't tell you no but how will your son react to this"sienna said as if on cue from the kitchen zane, cardin and bastet emerged with dinner. It mainly consisted of some fish, rice and steak along with some alfredo. They set the plates out as they began to set dinner up but zane interest was peeked.
"Ummm react to what exactly? What does wanna fight me in my monster form?"he asked gesturing to declan who cracked his knuckles
"Oh only if your offering, it might be some fun"declan said grinning as his wife groaned hoping he won't fight the giant grimm monster.
"Please don't start a fight in the house, i'm sure kali doesn't want to repair it again"katherine warned puling her husband tail as he yelped slightly. Nadia shook her head as she still held asani who was caught off gaurd by the embrace because it felt nice being held like this.
"No for starters, your now the middle child. Because this girl right here is your new little sister"nadia said which made him go wide eyed hearing that news. Zane stared at the girl for a moment as the two looked at each other.
He just smiled as he fixed her a plate of alfredo handing her it"well guess i gotta get used to that. Thought eat up little sis"zane said accepting his new role as an older brother already. Asani looked at the food infront of her for a moment picking up her utensil. She hesitated to eat it for a moment then she did. Her eyes lit up as she let a small tear escape.
"This is really good, thank you"asani cried hugging him but he just patted her head as they all began to eat dinner for the night. They talked about what they might be doing next which would be waiting for the ships jaki will be providing. Calida told them they should be arriving in a day then they can begin the march on havan academy to stop the white fang. After dinner was over all of them returned to their homes but for zane he went to his mothers house.
Once they got their he actually never been inside it as he looked at all the photos on the wall. Along with how nice it looked along with asani who looked confused being in a house.
"So umm is this where i'm going to live?"she nerovusly asked as nadia nodded rubbing her head.
"You are i do have two extra rooms but uh.."nadia said looking at cardin and yumi but the two already had their stuff packed up.
"Your good ma'am we can go crash in flyboy ship until we depart for havan. "Cardin replied as yumi nodded
"Hes right, you've been a great host but we can give up our room for a bit. I slept in worse place his ship pretty nice"yumi replied as they were about to leave but cardin looked at zane for a moment worried if he still thinks he killed their friends. The former bullie walked over tapping him on the shoulder.
"Umm uh yeah what up?"zane replied but received an embrace engulfing him which caught him offgaurd.
"Just wanna say it again…it aint your fault my teammates are gone or our friends. Don't forgot that"cardin reassured him as he nows that now but he felt guilty still for even helping cause the fall. He just returned the embrace sighing.
"I..i know…it felt nice to get that off my chest. But i just miss them"zane replied sadly
"Same here, but lets head to havan to stop the attack. For them"cardin said offering a fistbump as he smiled slightly returning it. The two then soon bidded them goodbye as nadia escorted asani to her room. The girl found it very foreign to her as she hoped onto the bed feeling it as it felt so softy.
"This..this is my room?"asani asked innocently as nadia just nodded smiling at her.
"Its is though…you need a last name. If i'm going to work on getting some documents set up you need a last name."nadia replied as the girl thought for a moment before looking at her now new so called mother. She maybe thought about taking her last name.
"Umm how about asani walker?"she asked which caught her offguard but the tiger faunus just nodded telling her that was fantastic. She left her to her room as the poor girl finally got to sleep in an actually bed which brought tears to her eyes as she drifted to sleep.
But she then guided her son upstairs to the empty room she had set up for him. Nadia looked at zane for a moment before smiling as she opened the door to his room. He stepped inside to a simple room with a queen size bed in the corner along with a dresser and desk. But he noticed a few things that begin some pictures on the dressor and a weapons rack. Along with the trunk full of some of his things from atlas.
He walked toward the dressor exmaing the pictures seeing them, one was him being congrulted on going to beacon. Another was him playing the guitar infront of robyn homeless shelter, one was him with marrow doddling on hariet face. But one stood out amongst the rest that being his team picture as he picked it up.
"I thought once you got back to town me and some others decorated it a little. Its not much but i.."nadia could't finished as he just hugged her tight burying his face into her chest crying.
"Thank you…thank you so much…i love you mom"he cried as her lips quievrred into a smile as she returned the embrace.
"Its nothing sweetie, you have someplace you can call home now"nadia cried as the two held it before she returned to her room for the night. Zane just hoped onto his bed after getting change smiling he actually had his own room that wasn't a jail cell. But he thought maybe soon they should head to havan to cause no more trouble on paradise
Seems they fianlly got rid of snagie on the island along with having to deal with two more mechs like long ago. Though it seems that nadia adopted a new daughter to show her the same love and compassion she showed her other kids. But sooner or later they need to leave the island. Thanks for reading!
