Chapter 101:Delivery
The sun was still out as the skies was bathed in an orange haze right now. Though in the blair residents they were busy preparing for their guest that will be arriving at their house right now as katherine and her daughter were preparing dinner. While xander was already dressed up wearing a simple pair of tan dress pants with a light purple dress shirt.
With declan he wore a simple black button up with matching grey dress pants. But was struggling slightly with his tie because of what he was told early, that being what kai said. He kept grumbling to himself in anger.
"Okay can you stop grumbling to yourself old man. Seriously its on my nerve"akasha replied crossing her arms under her bust wearing a orange button up with brown dress pants. While ilia wore a brown sweater with a black skirk. Since the two are staying with them until ilia earns enough money for her own place for them.
Declan growled slightly"You try being calm after hearing some brat call your wife something horeznous"he spat slightly
"Calm down dad at least i socked him in his jaw. Pretty sure i cracked it my hand still hurts"xander siad rubbing his hands.

"I'll bet seriously even after that little fight they came to my clinic begging to be healed. Too bad my doors were closed"katherine said sweetly before helping her husband with his tie fixing it.
"Though lets enjoy tonight though still thank you for taking us in ma'am. Even though we've brought more trouble"ilia replied upset as kathrine motherly instincts kicked in.

"Dear just relax. It takes pratice for that sort of thing. But i'm glad still everyone getting along after the last week. Then we can relax till those ships for havan arrive then its a straight shot their."katherine cheerily said as a knock at the door could be heard.
"I'll get it"declan said walking over opening the door to reveal their guest. The first was nadia wearing a dark blue sleeveless dress that presented her bust, her toned arms and legs. While wearing some tan sandals. Next to her was zoey who wore an orange sweater with a black skirt with her tail sticking out with some black heels.

Velvet wore a black skirt that reached above her knees with black dress shoes. Along with wearing a brown wool sweater to match. "Ah your finally answered thought we'd be waiting out here all day"zoey replied as he opened the door and welcomed them inside his home.
"Well you were suppose to arrive at around seven for dinner but its eight right now"declan said
"I'm sorry were so late we ran into a small issue"velvet apologized
"Blame my kid, he was busy getting a welcoming gift for you since you've invited us to your lovely home"nadia replied to their surprise
"A gift? What exactly would that be…what is it another weapon. Let me guess a rocket launhcer "akasha joked earning a couple laughs.
"Aka stop it seriously. Though what exactly took you so long to find some housewarming gifts"ilia added but declan noticed him carrying two things that being another handcraved angel statute. Zoey groaned before pulling the objects from his arms.
"While we cleaned up my little brother made you another statue for your friend that passed. "Well I for one appreciate the gesture. Thank you dear"katherine thanked. Declan though picked it up with care this time examining it, admiring it because it was some fine the early gesture he was starting to like him now…which he didn't mind right now.

Ilia wiehged her options for a moment surprised being offered this much before taking it smiling before leaning over hugging him for a moment separating.
"Thank you for this…though in the words of katherine…whens the wedding?"ilia cheekly said making him choke on his drink as onxyia went flush at that as velvet covered her face. As nadia was laughing slightly as was katherine. As the two families with their guest talked through the night enjoyign themselves for the night. Until eventually it was over as ilia who had a bright smile was cleaning the dishes with katherine as the others were saying their goodbyes for the night.
"Well thank you for coming over tonight. After everything that happen it was nice to have this actually"declan admitted
"thank you for inviting us over, tonight has been wonderful maybe after havan done we could do this again"nadia said at the door.
"Yeah though how about next time your kids goes into that monster form of his we spar"declan said as he had bad news on that.
"Umm i actually lose a month of my lifespan letting the bug in control when i use it"he corrected to their shock as katherine was done washing the dishes. They all stared him down before nadia pulled on his ear tight with an annoyed look.
"That would have been useful if you told us before. Because i swear to god if i see it again your grounded for ten years"she threatened as he took her words to heart.
Onxyia crossed her arms disppaointed"same here because that will just have to be our trump card now. Though thank you guys for coming tonight"she sweetly said as they all bidded each other goodbye that night. But nadia stayed for some reason.
"Dear why are you still here?"katherine asked since xander, ilia and akasha retuned upstairs to prepare for the tomorrow. The women sighed heavily.
"Look…last night he…still crying in his sleep at times. I know this is going to be weird to ask, you mind spending the night before we leave for havan"nadia asked to their surprise.
Onxyia blushed at the thought"i…i could but…i'm guessing you don't want me to do that dad"onxyia said but he had an opposite answer.
"Eh go spend the night i aint going to stop you"declan answered to their surprise.
"Look i want to try and….wait what did you say?"onxyia asked surprised since he never acts like this. As katherine smirked because it seems the boy got on her husband good side.
"You heard me i'll allow it for tonight. Kid just gifted us a million lien which is very generous but also made a gift. Plus….kids earned my respect for defending you early. Go spend time before we leave for havan tomorrow"declan said as she stared at him with tears in her eyes before hugging him as her tail wagged in joy for a moment.
Then they bidded each other goodnight as they returned to the walker reisdnets with their guest as zane found this a little embarrassing. Since she was still in her dress clothes from early as velvet was too.
"Why is she here?"neo signed as she was in her pajamas still awake waiting for them.
"Well..um…i um wanted to spend the night…is that a problem?"onxyia asked mad blushing
"Can I spend the night too please"velvet begged as they all didn't mind really.
"Eh just take a quick shower everyone then where calling it a night. Because some of you still smell"nadia replied as they agreed on that.
Everyone took their shower for the night getting situated in their room for the night but zane was second to last but not before reading something the letter eria left. Which hurt seeing that but while he was waiting for the shower he spent time making some ideas in a journal. After his shower he got changed into some pajamas. After that it was onxyia who showered for a bit to clean herself up after today but had a problem she had no pajamas same for the rabbit. But it was solved by letting her borrow a pair of his. Him,velvet and nadia where waiting for a bit until she emerged out of the shower.
Onxyia was now wearing a pair of black sweatpants with a dark blue t-shirt that presented a bit of her clevage as he avoided not wanting to be teased more.
While for velvet she wore a black tank top that seemed slightly tight presenting her bust with a pair of brown panties on.
"Well since you three are finally back i'm going to bed. Because tomorrow were getting those dumb ships then its off to havan. You'll get to see your friends"nadia said returning to her room as they stared at each other.
"So umm which one is your room?"onxyia asked breaking the silence.
"Yeah it must be nice to finally have one"velvet added
"Oh uh um…its this one…still finding it weird how i have my own room now. "He replied, opening as she stepped inside a little nervous.
"It must feel nice to have one finally along with a place to call home"onxyia sweetly said making him smile slightly as he got under the cover. Onxyia hesitated to join but slipped under the covers with him before snuggling up close to him falling asleep herself. As velvet joined in too snuggling up against him already fast felt content placing an arm around the two admiring them falling asleep himself. Tomorrow is when those ships arrive, then their off to havan.

But right now in the walker residents everyone was waking up to start their day as in zane room he groaned slightly as he sat up.
"Seriously these dam nightmares are getting worse at times. I wish they'd stop"he muttered to himself as he tried to escape but someone arm was wrap around him. He looked down at the half awake onxyia who yawned sitting up with velvet slowly stirring awake
Onxyia yanwed slightly smacking her lips"what time is it? Because right now my body sore"she replied
"Try fighting miss walker…she is very brutal for her teaching lessons"velvet added

"Keep making fun of us and i aint making breakfast"zane warned which made her back off
"Touche but hurry up, those ships are gonna be arriving by right now. Then tonight we'll do a bon voyage party to send us off to the academy"nadia eplied as the three quickly got up and change into their clothes.
Then after twenty minutes breakfast was mad as the house occupants were eating breakfast for the morning. Neo was eating hers with delight humming a little, colt had coffee in hand drinking it as velvet happily dug into her brekafast. Onxyia tail wagged in excitement bitting into her eggs as zane was finishing up cleaning the dishes.
"Man i'm lucky this place got a decent cook around here"vance said as his aunt stared at him annoyed.
"Hey sorry my kid knows how to make some decent food."nadia retorted

"Hey i've had alot worse not saying yours was bad. Try eating a grimm"zane added as he was in the process of joining them for breakfast but that made them stare at him weird.

But over in the belladonna household blake was overlooking the entire village right thinking how almost three weeks ago it wasn;t like this before. Though it also worried her as well not just the villager but whose helping.
She looked toward summer and yang and wonder how ruby would react to seeing her mother standing their alive. Her sister seems all smiles right now bonding with her aunt. Though she didn't know where her sister was probably hiding from her girlfriend wrath for yesterday. But she was also very happy that everyone was getting along right now. After their little spat they have a chance to stop havan with all the support their getting for stopping these terrorist.
But she exclsuivly looked at one person that being ilia who looked very worried right now. Probably for her girlfriend akasha. Who seemed down after losing the mobility of her legs.
"Yo blake. Remnant to blake"sun called out making her jump slightly as she sighed.
"What do you want sun?"she asked quickly.
"Nothing much you been spacing out again. Guessing your pretty worried about you know who"sun said as she was worried.
"Hey don't worry i'm sure everything is alright though whats eating you?"yang said close by joining them

Sun noticed two people"though uh hey its jaz. I guess she finally came out of hiding from blondies wrath"he said as jazmine approached them cautiously mainly because of her sister and her girlfriend. Yang gave daggers to the girl slightly

"I got got it…though i'm sorry still just thought you were joking"jazmine replied
Summer slightly chuckled"you don't wanna see her when she mad. Trust me she even punch tai when he tried cutting it"she replied to yang embarrassment

"Despite that your dad wants you by the docks. The ships should be arriving soon. We should all hang later before we all depart for havan"sun relayed and offered something.

It bolstered their spirted as they took pride in their work which made blake swell up inside with the same pride. Along with that they seemed to have accepted zane as a traditor of the grimm knight. Some still hate him which he told her hes fine with.
It was a rather long walk to the docks as they arrived to see people hard at work. But what she quickly noticed was something amazing several ships that sails bore something that made her smile, the old white fangs banner. It just made her she guided herself onto the dock to see a ship pulling up close.
But already their was her father, sienna and calida waiting for the ship.
"Ah blake their you are"ghira said ahead of the two
"Yes, we were wondering if you were going to be late to meet a certain someone"calida replied cryptyically.
"We wouldn't miss this for a second, its still very generous of you to do this for us"blake replied but the women shook her head.

Beatrix stepped forward waving her hand'yes though dreadfully awful in my opinion. "Try two of them, though surprised still to hear you had a child on a grimm infested ship"jaki replied as beatrix felt slight guilt form that but stared at the baby in her arms. She was lucky they didn't sink that day or this child wouldn't be here today.

"Thats enough. Now i take it you know of these knights of grimm but from what i heard hes on our side. Now as your boss I suggest you put those weapons away and start unloading the rest of the merchandise"jaki codly said as he covered his right hand in ice taking one of their pistol away.

"I'm terrible sorry about them. Though its still a pleasure to see both of you again. Along with you dear"jaki greeted to them.
Nadia chuckled"same here ice king"she said with a cheeky grin. As calida giggled slightly because that was a new one.

"Well I also have a prosthetic that I was outfitted with back in dryshore. I'm sure will told you about it,"Blake said, rolling up her sleeve to show her prosthetics.

They all looked at some teenager holding some bricks and bottles. Three of them in fact.

The third one went to throw another brick at him as he braced himself from the impact but someone had a different idea. Instead of him it was caught by ghira who held the brick in hand before crushing it with just his bare hands.

Before i have to get involved or do you want to disrespect your chieftians wishes"ghira demanded before they knew it they turned tail and ran away before they tired anything else. Jaki for one was shocked that faunus would even be conducting the same thing their kind went through.

"Its not surprising people still fear him still. Alot of people still hold grudges for what happened but are you alright?"Sienna asked as he nodded visible shaking as he removed his hand smeared in blood as it streamed the side of his skull.

At the house right now in the living room was summer along with some others as they were enjoyign themselves right now. Something she hasn;t had in a long time but she knew bads things were going to happen soon enough.
But she just felt relaxed right now along with being very nervous right now for when they head to havan, she'll meet her husband and daughter after so long.
"Summer dear are you alright? Because you see rather tense right now"kali asked as it broke her out of her trance.
"Yeah seriously you've been starting at your tea for like ten minutes"verona added as she was laying on her side reading a book right now to pass the time.
The women sighed setting her cup down that got cold after so long, then she stared at her metal hand for a moment.
"Its just…i'm rather nervous when we head to havan actually. I'm just worried my daughter won't accept me after abaodning her"summer admitted right now sadly. Kali felt hurt hearing her old friend feel like but understand where she coming from.
"Dear i'm sure it'll be fine. Your niece was rather upset with you but a child love is most of the long lasting. "Kali reassured
"Along with your teammates those two will be happy to see you i'm sure."verona added but summer guessed raven might be mad with what she pulled.
"Perhaps your right, i just hope i can fix things with her. And be their for her the rest of her life"summer answered as the door opened from the front. As in stepped ghira and his group along with the blairs and fenix. Kali looked toward the door gasping slightly before a warm smile came to her face.
"Well this is a surprise. My old leader it seems your here with those weapons and ships we were promised"kali said walking over embracing jaki who returned it smiling himself.
"I did. They'll be ready by tomorrow for the march toward havan. But i take it you met my sister in law and niece"jaki said gesutring to verona as luna was on the ground teething on a stuffed rabbit right now. Calida noticed this picking her up tearing it away from the girl disgusted by the spit soaked stuffy dropping it to the ground.
"Sweetie we don't put nasty things like that in your mouth"Calida reprimanded as luna bleeped at her making the women immediately gush instead of scolding her.
"Aww your so cute"calida cooed sitting down hugging her as jaki and kali shared a look laughing slightly. They all took their seats as kali luckily set a tray of tea out for all of them right now.
"I forget that my wife finds cute and adorable things to be her weakness."jaki coldy said
"Oh cmon my daughter cute and adoabrle. Except for my husband who acts so dramatic every waking second"verona groaned
"You didn't see him back in beacon. Seriously him and port were like best friends like a mentor taking him under his wings."kali replied recalling those days. But jaki noticed one old face he hasn't seen in so long that surprised him.
"Wait a minute…summer?"jaki asked as summer turned to his direction sighing crossing her legs.
"I…yes its nice to see you old friend. Pleasure to make your acquaintance again"summer greeted
Jaki smiled"pleasure all mine though it seems what i heard from raven was true. That you live qrow will be happy to see you i'm sure."he replied making her feel guilt again but pushed it in the back of her head
"Yes though i'm sure he despises me still for helping take his leg. They'll be quite shocked to see me with a prosthetic arm now. I'm a terrible leader and mother"summer sombely replied. However she suddenly received a slap to the back of the head again from kali as she rubbed the spot she hit.
"Ow! Kali can you not hit me the back of the head!"summer shouted rubbing the spot.
"Like i said before stop sulking. Seriously your moopy do any of you recall the girl back in beacon. The happy smile, with the happy go lucky attitude, girl who was friend with almost anyone"kali said like before making summer blush slightly embarrassed
Declan claughed at that"oh man you have no idea what our days. Sometimes i still think it was just like yesterday"he said
"Try it being almost two decades ago. Seriously i'm starting to feel old despiste only being in my thrites"kahterine grumbled at how much time has past.
"Oh try me i think i've broken several of my bones over the years. The harsh climates of vacuo are killer"fenix reminded as he cracked his knuckles making loud pops.
Calida rolled her eyes pulling her pant leg revealing a long scar"try being bite by a grimm. Its the only scar i got from my time as a huntress luckily"she said as nadia chuckled at that.

"Okay miss i'm just like her son. Because if i recall back in beacon you and amber would always be near each other. Seriously me and diam found those two praticuarly making out everywhere back in beacon. "Sienna said as nadia face went flush after that as she chocked on her drink coughing as they laughed at them slightly.
"I forgot about that. Seriously i can admit myself your team was quite strange three faunus and one human. But interesting to say the least"jaki replied as kali rolled her eyes recalling something that the hayley brother did.
"Alright though you and drav got into several fights back then. Seriously even over the simplest things…one time over a cookie i think"kali threw him under the bus making him stand up straight as his pale skin went bright red. Verona started to snicker at him pointing at him.
"Oh…oh thats hilarious. Got any embarrassing sotries about the twins never heard much about their time at beacon?"Verona asked eagerly as declan tappd his chin recalling one time.
"If i recall one time me and qrow got into a sparring match. But i remember winning that match though jerk yanked on my tail"declan explained as katherine shook her head smiling.
"Alright though you and diego did get into your fair share of trouble. Remember the time you two along with dravan, mulberry ganged up on summer since you four thought she couldn't beat anyone twice her size"katherine reminded as the wolf cleared his throat as his tail began to wag. As summer laughed recalling that day since some people underestimated her back in the day.

Jaki thought thought of that sabertooth"though i take it you gave a funeral to taupe i take it."he asked as they got silent for a moment as the man nodded.

"Beatrix milbourne ex SDC board member of that devil jacuqe schnee. Now apart of the hayley board of directors for faunus and human relations"betrix introduced herself with a bow which caught kali attention hearing she was apart of jacque board of directors.
Kali huffed slightly"you better not be some spy for my teammates company. If you are i'll claw your face"she said as she summoned her shadow cat as it sat on her shoulder hissing at her. But the women scoffed being accused of that.
"Please i rather be apart of a company rather than his. I may have been good friend with him back in the day but i won't associated myself with someone who whips his own kids as a punishment"beatrix answered but this just confused them all for a moment because she thought all of them knew. Sienna eyes went wide as she was in mid sip, as fenix jaw hung open slightly hearing that. As ghira himself had a narrowed gaze right as nadia eyes began to twitch in anger.
"Excuse me?"nadia questioned as the old women realzied her mistake.
"What do you mean by that man whipping his kids? Did…did that man abuse his own childrens?"katherine asked as her ears straighten out.
Calida noticed their looks sighing as she made sure the coast was clear, checking for any guards. Closing any windows as verona did the same helping her for a bit. Until after ten minutes they made sure the entire place was firmly secured from anyone eavesdropping on them.
They sat in an eerie silence as calida held her head"look…i take it you know how we…told you how weiss kidnapping was faked correct?"she asked
"We do but what do you mean by him whipping his kids?"declan growled as his tail thrashed around in anger as they stared at the calm hayleys and beatrix.
Calida sighed at this"i guess we can't hide this forever even here. You deserve the right to know"calida said regrettable facing all of them.
"We hide the fact she was kidnapped because willow begged lazuli to take her away. But i don't want anyone to freak out about what i'm about to say. Just let me explain okay"calida replied which only confused them as she began to explain with verona and beatrix help.
Throughout the explanation ghira remained quiet with a stoic look on his face while kali had a mix of emotions still hearing this anger mainly being sadness. While katherine for one was shocked to even hear this happened to those two heirs. As declan sat their in complete rage right now finding that man even more disgusting. Sienna for one was hurt hearing that even happen to someone so young. Nadia for one was absolutely fumming in rage but looked upset hearing that happen to her. Summer as well wondering how her daughter would react to her own partner suffering through that.
"And that why we faked their kidnapping. Were making sure she and her siblings never go back again"calida finished explaining
Ghira was the first to speak"it…seemed that girl along with her sibling faced many trials to get to where she is now. For starters i would never do that to my children"he firmly stated

Beatrix noticed the girl appearance going wide eyed'oh my god….i..i..shes a grimm hybrid. But she looks very young"She said with shock. Jaki for one was surprised himslef as his daughter told him about her but never expected her to be that young. Katherine was close pulling the poor girl up as she gently soothed her rubbing the back of her head.
"Its alright. That women is gone now and heading to jail for what she did."katherine said soothignly as piper buried her face into her chest crying viable shaking as she stroke the back of her head motherly.
"I..i..d-don't wanna get hit…i don't want to take another test"piper cried quietly but the women just comforted her right now as it soon passed as she cried herself to sleep. Jaki looked upset seeing someone so young get abused as he clenched his fist.
"I take it she that little faunus girl my daughters mentioned. I'm surprised to see someone so young going through whatever those awful experiments were"jaki sadly stated
Ghira nodded"the people here have gotten used to her appearance. Though rest assured when we arrive in havan we'll stop these grimm knights"he firmly stated on that objectives.
Beatrix sighed as sorrel was snoring peacefully in her arms as she rocked him"well your very lucky that willow and her son are staying with coucnilman wilkins. Along with having captain cho and his spartans watching over her"she said but this caught some attention as nadia recalled hearing that last name from the letter.
"Wait…she with councilman wilkins. If i recall he's the only faunus on the atlas council correct?"Sienna asked but someone had a diferent question
"Although dear his first name wouldn't happen to be miller correct?"katherine asked confusing the old women for a moment since most people don't know about that black ops group except for some of elite. She only knows since she is friends with their commander.
"Why yes, he's Artemis, second in command for their entire unit. Me and her go way back since she was in my son's unit. Before he perished honorable "Beatrix answered but this made Nadia shimmer down before laughing to herself like she was crazy.
"Oh my god…why is my kid so weird? He actually saved a commanding officer in some black ops unit"nadia said like she was crazy right now.
"You don't have two daughters on of which is very cold the other a branic but acts very childish at times"Calida added
"I'll do you one better, my daughter forming a little marriage pact with the leader of the branwhen tribe"kali teasinly said making them laugh at that.
Declan huffed"at least mine normalish. Except for her having a fascination with cuddling people"he said as they laughed at that but nadia had a thought about her old flame, that wasn;t here anymore which made her heart ache for that women she fell for all those years some more chatting kali clapped her hands to get their attention.
"Well since were probably leaving tomorrow for havan. I need help preparing for dinner later could some of you help me set up?"kali asked
"Sure thing it'll be nice to have a proper send off for tonight"fenix replied
"Same here i've relaxed long enough. It seems were heading off to havan though some of you can't really come"calida replied gesturing to those with kids.
"Don't worry i plan on hanging here to keep an eye on my daughter."fenix replied
"I'll join you since you need someone with clearance to get close to the capital. Being my fathers daughter does have its perks. "Bastet added
"That fine we can also discuss tonight plans for tonight when we have dinner. Its been a nice last couple weeks"summer said as they began to prepare for tonight for a proper send off before they went to havan to stop the white fang and reunite with some old friends.
Seems that zane earned declan respect for whats he done for his daughter it seems. Along with that some faunus still harrasing him but with the ships finally delivered they have a chance to stop the white fang and their allies for good. Thanks for reading!
