Chapter 118:Criminal Allies
Over in the courtyard right now walking toward on of the two CCT towers on the academy grounds right now was may along with mars for some reason. Though their was also ame who could help them boast the radio signal for vacuo. As they walked they made some small conversation long the way.
"So you actually have four different semblances. Still thats amazing to have that many types of semblances. Well compared to bombay who can copy any of them"ame stated
"Well its got its uses but man it makes you feel pretty tired. Seriously downside of it"he replied

"We got word the fang are moving for their attack soon. Auntie explained how you guys were preparing for it just incase it happens sooner. We were wondering if you can help us deal With their backup in the area."she started before pulling out a map pointing to the cell locations
"We found out they have five small cells in the area with white fang, talon and their working with the knuckledusters and unseen eye. Lil miss said to give you this to help us"she finished as barney examined the medallion before pocketing it nodding to her.
"This is one of her special favors. Saving her daughters will do that for you…okay i can round up some of the boys. We'll meet you at the academy to help set up, and deal with a few of the cells. I know those places one of them is gonna be tough"he said walking away from the group though the wolf had a question
"Wait….wheres uncle ambroise i thought he come here to warn you about the attack"onxyia question as junior got silent before motioing some to follow him. Quickly they reached the backrooms of the place but walked down the hallway reaching a room, he opened the door to something shocking
That being on a hospital bed right now in patient clothing was ambroise. Though he was worse for where with a bruises right eye and a slash mark on his forehead that was stitched up. Along with that his left arm was in a cast right now with a iv drip and heart rate monitor connected to him as he was asleep.
This shocked her"what happened to him?!"she shouted in shock as her tail straighten out.
Junior sighed crossing his arms"once we got back we sent him to warn your headmaster but he ignored him calling him crazy. About three days ago he was working with a few of barney guys to find any sighs of the fang"he started before eying the owl faunus.
"Next thing we know he comes back with one of them heavily injured. Along with him bleeding from the gut….said some mercs ambushed them. He'll live but it seems someone been gunning for huntsman and huntresses in the area"he stated making them confused
"What are you talking about?"jaune asked
"What i mean is that people have taking out huntsman and huntresses in the area. My guess those mercs and thugs…though i advise caution dealing with those places. Avoid one of them the speakeasy an underboss runs that place"he stated as they nodded taking their leave as junior eyed mars for a bit because he knows who his wife is.
Once outside they all gathered their taking in what they just heard as they all got their weapons ready at the moment.
"So whats the plan we split up and deal with the easier ones"may asked
"No we just deal with three of them. Their are maybe about five smaller ones and the last one is a tough one to takedown. We split in groups i'll take…the the knight guy, the shorter blonde, wolf girl ,hine and…the mute."mars offered
"Then i'll take xiaolong, princess ice queen, my niece. The rest of you head off with the spec ops over here."nadia said as they began to split off into their groups right now. Though following close behind them was someone who eyed mars down growling slightly before following them.
Although back in the academy right now in the forge right now was ruby along with asani and some others. As they were working on making some traps to use against the white fang as ruby was screwing in a dust caritage to a makeshift tripwire before tighten it tight enough.
"Their we go…though i find it funny how where making bobby traps for a academy"ruby commented as mercury was their doing maintenance on his legs. As velvet was working on checking over some of the supplies they have making sure they have enough dust.
"Well we gotta defend a huge academy from four armies pretty much. Gotta be extra careful"mercury replied tightening the bolts on his leg.
"Not wrong about that kid. Though still surprised to hear walker has another kid…we may have not spoken in a while buts it still nice to hear"diamona commented as asani helmet displayed an embarrassed emoticon.
"Well um..uh miss walker was very kind to take me in….i really had no where to go"asani sheepishly said as they were in an awkward silence for a moment before ruby wanted to ask something.
"Hey uh asani was it?"ruby asked making the girl look in her direction
"Yes?"she shyly asked
"Why did you help us back in deepwald? Because without you we wouldn't have been able to rescue all those people their without your help"ruby complimented making the girl mask display a blushing emoticon but turned away though diamona noticed it staying silent. The masked girl thought long and hard on her answer.
"I…i just wanted them to s-stop treating people terrible. I…i um…uh know how its like being a slave. They always would treat them terrible or….use them for the mines…then the…expeirments"she said stuttering at some words as ruby noticed that this might be a very sensitive topic.
"You don't need to continue. I'm sure it was nice to do some good and now you have a loving family"ruby said sweetly making the small girl blush even more turning away nodding thanking her. Though as they continued to work someone called out to them.
"Oh their you all are…i was wondering where you were sweetie"meg called out as velvet eyed her mother slightly
"Oh hi mom just working on making defenses for havan."velvet replied since they explained to her whats going on with some details out.
"Yeah what you here to mess with her for having three lover"mercury joked as velvet puffed her cheeks up jabbing him above his metal leg as he rubbed the spot she hit. The women bite her lip for a moment.
"Oh well i guess just…dear are you sure the company your keeping is safe?"meg asked again as her daughter narrowed her gaze slightly
"Mom. i told you early that everyone here is fine. None of them mean harm and if you start saying break up with my boyfriend. Thats a no"velvet firmly stated as the older rabbit sighed
"Look…sweetie i'm just worried about you okay. I…i know you said you loved your…partner but how are you sure they aint using you"meg said as close by someone spoke up
"Hey cut the guy some slack. Seriously we removed the dumb mental suggestion and i'm already still feeling crappy at times for the stunts i pulled in beacon"cardin said walking over
"Right i sometimes forget you were a big bully…though you changed your tune now which is great"ruby replied
Meg sighed as her ears slightly flopped"sorry i'm just a bit paranoid after everythings thats happened. My daughter was bullied by several people for who she dated"she rudely reminded though her daughter narrowed her gaze.
"Mom….i'm making my own decision. Because i was mad for what he did to me making me go through mourning his death along with my teammates. But i know he would apologize to me someway and…"she paused eyeing close by seeing that bofyriend of hers right now. As zane was at the forge right now gathering parts for something as she knew what he was doing.
"He did something no ones ever done for me before"she added confusing her mother
"What would that be?"meg questioned
"Sang her a love song on the way to menagerie"cardin answered making velvet blushed slightly embrassed which surprised meg hearing that for a moment eyeing her daughter for a bit. Shes just worried for her safety is all but sighed crossing her arms.
"That sounds sweet….but…look i'm just worried about you need me i'll be helping the others"meg said walking away as they kept working though the women eyed zane wondering if he would hurt her daughter.
Although across town right now was mars and company as the six of them soon arrived at their desintaiton. That being a small warehouse like building as outside of it right now where two thugs smoking some cigerettes near a large gargae door. As they were behind some cover since it was close to the edge of the capital borders
"Okay so whats our plan exactly? "Zephyra questioned
"First we deal with the guards. Then hope we don't got too many to deal with inside the place, your ups shorty"mars said as neo nodded before changing into an illusion shifting her appearance to a taller women with a very revealing shirt and jeans. As she walked over toward the two thugs as they took noticed of her before one tap the others shoulder.
"Uh miss you shouldn't be over here this is private property"the guard called out though neo just playfully waved to the two catching their interest as she presented her bust. Then she motioned with a finger to follow her as the two eyed each other before winking. The two gullible idiots followed the mute close enough before she leaned forward presenting her bust slightly giving a toothy grin. This excited the two.
"Oh so you wanna get frisky i mean the guys wouldn't mind i'm sure"one said setting his weapon down though in a swift motion. The mute quickly spin kicked one down as she punched the other in ther groin making them wince. As jumping from cover was onxyia who dropped kicked him knocking him down, neo dropped the illusion.
"Perverts. Lets get this over with then we can regroup with the others"onxyia said as they apporahced the door as jaune peeked inside the window peering inside the place
"Well how many guys do we have in their?"rogue aksed as he turned toward them
"About seven of them. Two of them look to be in military gear while another two seem like white fang members. The rest look like their apart of the gang here"jaune replied as they nodded quickly getting close to the door as mars exhaled slowly.
Then in an instant he reeled his footback covering it in a thick rognaic material. Then he kicked the door in denting it as this surprised the enemies inside though quickly they all rushed inside to deal with their opponents right now.
As zephyra charged up a gust of wind in her hand as a thug and fang member rushed at her with swords in hand. But she soon released a gust of wind tossing the two into some boxes and crates destroying them as they both got knocked out from the impact.
Rogue rushed in with her submachines gun lighting up one of the soilders but they deflected the shots with a tactical sword because he was a member of the claw. As the operator dashed forward slicing and slashing at her a few times chipping at her aura. Then rogue decided to try something as she blocked a strike with her arm shield as it made a dinging sound as the operator growled
"Pathetic vermin you will die in the name of our queen"the operator said as she glared back heating up one of her hands in magma.
'Fat chance. Eat this"rogue siad before gripping the mans sword and in an instant it started to melt down as he jumped back. Though this resulted in his sword becoming deformed as he ditched it unsheathing a knife lunging toward her to stab her. But rogue raised her shield pushing him back
This resulted in the soldier being shoved into jaune path who knocked down a white fang member with his sword. But he saw the soldier coming his way as he raised his blade as the operator landed right near him. Though before he could react jaune smacked him hard with the handle end of his sword knocking him out.
Mars had a sword in hand with a golden handle and maroon lining it as the blade gleaned silver. He was dispatching another thug as he stabbed them in the leg imbolizing them. Though soon enough they dealt with them rather easily.
"Alright good work kids….now lets see what these guys are protecting"he said walking over to a desk shfitng through it. Though neo looked to as she glanced around it before something caught her eye. She picked him it up tugging on jaune shirt
"Whats up you find something?"jaune asked as she presented the document as he quickly read through it.
"What did she find out about this place?"Zephyra questioned
"Nothing much this seems to be a depot for them to recon the area. This must serve as a hideout for them to find potential targets or rest up"jaune said as it wasn't that useful. Quickly making a call to barney after maybe twenty minutes soon enough some of the spider gang came to help control the place for now. Though they were walking away right now.
"Are we sure we can't just hand these guys over to the cops or something?"rogue questioned
Zephyra shook her head"no because their might be some under their payroll. We shoudln't take the risk we should regroup with the others"she said as they contineud to walk. Though as they did onxyia ears flicked for a moment before eyeing a nearby alleyway ahead of them. But she stayed silent as they kept walking, but as they passed it she reached inside the alleway grabbing someone
"Hey! Let me go you mutt!"a girl voice said as onxyia threw her into a wall plantain her forearm where the girls chest was.
"No way. You've been following us the entire time i noticed it a few minutes before we arrived to this warehouse. Who are you?"onxyia questioned though zephyra went wide eyed with a glare seeing who it was.
"You! Your that girl who tricked me and kidnapped me while at office!"zephyra shouted as it was julia who laughed at her slightly
"Aww what you fell for my little pity act? Don't be dumb next time you spoiled brat"julia spat as the heiress growled at her though someone else confronted her.
"Julia what have i told you about working with these guys. I thought i warned you to stay away from them"mars said to their shock he knows her.
"You two know each other?"rogue questioned pointing at the two though julia scoffed spitting to the side glaring at him
"Shut up. Your not the boss of me all you ever do is tell me what to do. Go gush over that dumb brat you love so much"julia coldy said as mars soften his gaze.
"Sweetie do not call your brother that. Hes your family and me and your mother are just worried about you"mars replied which caught them offguard hearing she was his daughter though julia growlwed slowly reaching into her pocket.
"That bitch isn't my mom! Either let me go or my real mom will break your dam legs! Because sorry i disappointed you everysince i was born"julia spat back but the wolf wasn't letting go very confused to be holding her boyfriend cousin down.
"Okay….so shes your daughter. We need answers later when we meet up again but we aren't letting you go"onxyia firmly said but soon julia dropped the device on the ground as they all stared at it knowing what it is.
"Cover your eyes!"rogue shotued but it was too late as the bright light appeared blindly them as onxyia was shoved to the ground. After some time they opened them to see that julia was gone now as rogue groaned
"Come on! Why does every badguy do that to us!"she whined but some eyes were directed toward mars at that moment as he looked away.
"Mind explaining to us why your daughter is with those thugs? Are you against us or something?"zephyra question very annoyed as he sighed
"Look i can explain later once we come up with a plan and meet up again. It'll be easier to tell you….though uh yeah that was my eldest. Come on lets see how the others did"mars said as they walked off because julia was far away from them running back to someone she considers her family.
It seems we just ran into julia yet again who is actually mars daughter. Along with that may was succesful in contacting the others in vacuo for their help. Though yang also learned how her own ancestor killed her friends ancestors. Thanks for reading
