Chapter 120:Finders Keepers
In the airs high above where the ships containing the faunus where that where well on their way to stop the assault on havan. They were all enjoying themselves right now but in the main bridge right now. Just to be sure blake was going over the plans for the defence with her parents and a few others right now. Mainly being zheng, sienna and summer along with arrastra who knows the area pretty well with vlad assisting them.
"So which path should we take to avoid any grimm activity or these thugs. Because we need to get their soon and not be delayed"sienna questioned
Arrastra and summer studied the map as the map blinked showing their current location right now. As they did for a moment the several cat spotted a path they could take.
"Right here"she pointed out a path where the mountains was on the map.
"This path will lead us directly to havan like mrs. rose said. It will be tough having to navigate through the cliffs. Last time i was their was a nest of garogyles their roosting a few months back"she added
"Gargoyles? What the heck are those never heard of them"Sun asked
"A flying type of grimm….their not too tough to deal with. But their quick and fast if were careful we could just avoid them all entirely. Along with that make sure that if they are their not to disturb them. Warn everyone about it when where reaching that area"summer replied
"Thats a smart idea we should arrive their by tomorrow. Then its a straight shot to havan where the others are right now"blake replied as they all agreed on that. As they continued to work right now though as they did sun glanced toward blake who was walking to the office space with her parents along with sienna and summer.
The monkey faunus decided to follow right now as they stepped inside the room. It was a simply room with a chart of the area. A desk was neatly in the middle with a shelf containing books on landmarks and geography of the area.
"So now that we have a course charted. We can just sit down and relax for the time being"kali stated
"Yes. it would also be benficla to make sure everyone is perfect shape for the assault we will face. "Ghira supported as summer cupped her chin deep in thought before nodding

Blake shook her head"no i'm fine. Just had a small attack with my prothestic is to serious i tried those exercise that nadia taught me. They worked"she argued though summer even joined in now.
"Actually your not…because your avoiding the question right now. If he didn't want to bring it up….he wouldn't be worried about you. Are you alright"Summer firmly aksed as the cat didn't like them psycho analysis her right now
"Look i'm alright okay. We need to schedule alot of things along with leading the tribe and our people to havan. Along with dropping those refugees off when we can to avoid them getting involved in this battle for havan"she said pacing around messing with her latch on her arm for a moment fidgeting around for a moment.
The panther noticed his daughter strife before guiding her to sit down gently not by force. Once she sat down he pulled a chair up to face her as the two stared at each other.
"Blake….i know the last month has been a bit of struggle with whats happened. But you shouldn't be hiding things that might cause further problems. What happened?"ghira asked in a claming voice which seemed to calm her nerve
The cat faunus stared at the ground right now seeing their was no use in arguing with them right now. She was mad how sun just threw her under the bus but she sighed crossing her arms thinking on how she should start until she spoke.
"Well i….last night i just had a nightmare is all which shouldn't really worry you at all"She answered wanting to just end it their but kali narorwed her gaze. Her motherly instinct kicked in
Immediately blake was pulled into a comforting embrace by the women who placed a hand behind her hand rubbing it in a circular motion. Along with that she pulled her in close wanting to hear her problem right now with a concerned look.
"Dear hiding something like this isn't healthy. Because remeber its a mother insitnct to know if something wrong. Your friend suffered from those nightmares herself along with a few of your other friends."she started as blake looked up at her mother face for a moment.
Kali stared down at her with a concerned look"you can't over exhaust yourself because if you let that happen. Terrible things will happen to you in the end. Please talk"she softly asked as the cat faunus looked down exhaling and inhaling a few times to calm her nerves
"Well um…i…i'm very worried right now that if we don't make it in time to havan. That….that everyone might already be dead"she said which caught them by surprise as kali squeezed a little tighter in her embrace
"Dear why would you even think that? Because we have someone monitoring the news broadcast for any sigh of havan being under attack"sienna asked with concern as the cat looked down with a worried look
"I…i…what if where actually too late…what if my teammates are actually gone. My leader….weiss…yang. Along with all my other friends their"She said with tears slowly forming as sun was a little shock wondering if the stress lately has been getting to her as she sniffed continuing.
"But…i…that nightmare i had scared me. Because what if….what if where being tricked right now"she said which caught them by surprise that she said that.
"What do you mean by if where being tricked?who would be tricking us right now?"sun questioned
Though the cheifitan stared at his daughter with his hands behind his back as he could theorize one person that she is scared that is betraying them. The boy he took in a long time ago as he closed his eyes.
"Your worried that tarrus is tricking your friends and teammates aren't you dear?"ghira asked making blake flinch upon hearing that because he hit the mark. The cat faunus ears flopped over completely as she gently nodded sighing with tears slipping away slowly.
"I…what if he just tricking us….because…he tricked me making me love him. What if he actually just betrays them if the fang arrive before us…i…he might actually kill my best friend. My teammates and my partner…what if hes tricking us right now"She said with tears slowing slipping away in fear because she worried that hes just trying to get on their good side to make them think hes an ally.
That was when kali pulled her back getting a better look at her eldest. Blake had some tears running down her cheeks right now as the cat whipped them away with a thump softly smiling rubbing her cheek
"Dear i understand your worried about that. Because when i heard from calida that he was with them when they arrived in argus. It scared me too wondering the same thing right now"kali begun as she kept gently rubbing her head.
"But at the same time i got curious deciding to talk to verona. Along with that yesterday talking to a few of the branwhen tribe members. Maybe at some point during our little travels you should talk to some of them"she continue which confused her right now why she would do that.
"Why should i even talk to them?"blake questioned
Sienna closed her eyes sighing"because at the same time i don't really believe he changed his ways. But that letter he gave you seemed to speak true. "She replied
"I can agee on that….right now i'm disappointed with whats happened with the white fang. Although once we get their we should see if he has really change. "I um really needed to hear that right now today….maybe i should go and relax right now for a bit. Might help my nerves"blake replied

"Sure thing….maybe even mai or midney could tell me if yang did anything stupid or something she likes."blake replied as they began to walk away to go enjoy some destressing activity though once they left sienna glanced at kali for a moment.
"Your going to punch tarrus in the face when we get their if they haven't attack yet. Aren't you kali"sienna asked as the women narrowed her gaze in her direction
"Isn;t it obvious i may have treated him like a son…..but i'm going to teach him a lesson for taking my little girl arm. Maybe snip off the branch he has"kali said with an eerie grin as summer chhuckled at that sighing shaking her head.

Although across the skies right now deeper in the mountain sides in an airship was abigal pyre. As the women was in her private office right now reaching for something that being a crystal ball. But close to her side was xi who stayed silent.
Then the women began to channel her aura into it to call upon her mistresses
"My queen i call upon you for an audience"abigal said before bowing before it as the dark orb started to have a dark red cloud slowly emerge. As xi bowed as well as soon their queen emerged which was salem.
"Abigal i take it you are completing your task well right now. Along with the assistance of our newest warrior"salem asked in a motherly voice
"Yes i am my queen. I've gathered some of my men along with flora transporting a few of our loyal followers to the cause. Don't worry i will make sure these faunus filth are halted before they reach havan"abigal said keeping her head bowed to her
Salem stayed silent for a moment before a small smile came to her face"good because our fall maiden is well on her way to the academy. Lionheart is cooperating well but how are you xi?"she asked motherly toward her grimm hybrid

I stood up bowing with his hands and head'of course mother i will.."he stopped for a moment as this caught abigal attention. Then the grimm hybrid held his head panting for air before crying out in pain as someone else was in control.
"Get out…get out of my head! I…your not my mom….your not my mom you creepy bitch!"the host of xi cried out which made salem looked rather annoyed. Though abigal stood up before producing a stun baton.
Then she jammed it in his side as he light up in electricity crying in pain a little. As his skin sizzled and smoke she backhanded him hard before gripping him by the collar
"I thought you said you had that host of your under control. I mean seriously hes just a dumb kid….keep him in check. Now"she ordred as soon enough xi host began to cry in pain before he was back in control exhaling heavily rubbing his head
"I thought you had control xi….if you aren't then maybe you should be brought back home. You'll need more time"salem said but he went wide eyed upon hearing that.
"Mother no! Please i…i can do it! This dam meat suit is just fighting for control more as of late. He was so easy to control after two weeks which was better than the others who struggled for control"xi argued as salem studied her grimm knight before her before speaking again
"You better be telling the truth. Because if you do fail me and manage to survive you will be torn out of that host. Then placed into a new one since i let you pick which one you wanted."salem warned as he noddes several times before the orb dispepared from the smoke

"Sorry about her…you know how she is. Mina keep that on the down low now because we got a job to do"he warned as she nodded before keeping her silence.

That being a man with tan skin seemined in his mid forties as he had dark green eyes. Along with that he had a scar over his right eye which made him blind but seemed to manage it well. Though he also had a msucualr build to him with light brown hair kept short.
For his attire he mainly wore a pair of brown pants along with a black tanktop underneath another shirt. For his overshirt it was a tan jacket with frills on the arms along with a mistral airship patrolman patch on the right should embedded into it. Though around his neck was a dream catcher necklace
Though he was actually a faunus as for his traits was a big pair of wings on his back of a falcon colored tan.
As she approached the helm he glanced at her but kept steering the ship as she stood by him. The two stood in silence for a moment before she eyed him down
"Defalco its quite rude to not greet your employer right now. How is the ship fairing right now"abigal questioned the ship captain known as defalco who swallowed nerovusly.
"Uh…um where going steedy on the course ma'am. Our boys down below are working very hard on keeping the ship in working condition right now. Along with that we should be arriving on the target soon enough actually. Then we could board them and rob them"he said with a neorvus smile
But as he said that the womens stared at him before drawing out a knife then she pressed it near his wings. Though he kept a firm grip on the steering wheel as she glared at him.
"You don't give the orders here boy…i do your lucky that we kept alive this long right now. Because the only reason your here right now is because of your piloting skills. Were not robbing them where going to destory that ship carrying those faunus"she demanded removing her knife which made him go wide eyed
But she kept he peace placing her hands behind her back eyeing the others in sil team"marton and khaki i want you to go fetch some of the boys for something"She said making them step forward with marton being the brute and khaki the other women.
"Something you want us to do boss?"marton asked with his club out
"Let me guess want us to round up the boys to attack the ships as a scouting party"khaki asked but she had a more sinister look on her face.
"No gather them up. We have a few small airship and xi will help you with this. I want you to make a deliver to them tonight before we begin the attack tommorrow on them. He'll know what we need"abigal said as the two nodded following the grimm knight out to do that.
The gang leader plans to leave a surprise for these faunus to make her queen proud by slowing them down. Shes already tasked sil and his team to kill some of the huntsman and huntresses in the area. But she'll slow these pest down before going in for the kill.
Although with deflaco he had a stunned gaze right now swapping glances with a few of the other hana guild members. Because they weren;t here by choice as around his wrist was a modified explosive device that would be set to go off if he tried anything right now. Though the man just wished after the past few years to just see two people. His loving wife and daughter.
Meanwhile back in the airship right now with zoey and company. They were in the bunks they were staying at right now. As the fox faunus was staring at the ring right now in hand from what bastet just told them. While they discussed this possibility on who these refugees are.
"So wait your telling me that these refugees we picked up. Might actually be that weird grimm guy that lazuli chick says is her cousin"jay asked as they nodded
"That his semblance is inherited from them and that their possible his blood family"he asked as they nodded again which annoyed sombra who groaned.
"Yes! Because seriously its so weird hearing my best friend is even involved with that guy. Shes got an interesting boyfriend i'll say'sombra replied
Naca chuckled"funny though what we just gonna approach them and ask. Hey are you guys related to the guy on the news because we found this ring."she said sarcastcially making akata bonk her on the head as she rubbed the spot she hit.

Then he snapped his finger"oh right when they arrived i feel like i saw something weird. Their was some guy that looked like a bear faunus but i could've sworn i heard a bear growling. Then next thing i know that racist jerk with his hunters emerged from the fog. And they were very jumpy asking if they saw anything which was weird"he answered which got them to think about that.
"That seems very weird okay lets split up to search around the ship. Me and bastet will go question any of them in the lounge. Snowy you, taupe and jay look for that raize girl"she ordered
"Why should we go after her?"sombra asked
"Obviously because she might be the eaisert to integrate. She seems rather jumpy and shy so it makes her an easy target"roland answered as the lynx frowned who was with him right now.
"Really? I get the money grubbing vacuo chick and….you"he said directly to the crodcidle faunus who looked down in shame but his cousin pinched his ear as he winced rubbing it.
"Can it cousin…..look try not to start anything rather not have grimm on board. Good luck because these guys owe us some questions on who they are"Zoey said as they nodded in agreement splitting up right now.
Immediately with zoey and baset the two walked around the ship looking for any sign of these so called hunters. As they did the two had a bit of casually conversation along the way to catch up

"Right. Forgot that you and your husband where with my mom and her old girlfriend. Small world still how you guys where even friends with our family especially uncle ray"she replied as the lioness nodded at that but looked down upset hearing about that bowler hatted fellow.

"Thank you for the compliment dear. Though i'm still rather annoyed that my husband dragged us on the dumb family hunting trip this time of year"she said annoyed as sabrina peeked up glaring

Calida titled her head confused before notiicng zoey and bastet walking over waving them down
"Ah hello you two what brings you down here in the recreation hall right now?"Calida asked

"Mind your busy you blonde bimbo"sabrina growled back but megan went wide eyed before pulling her daughter away right now with a worried look which zoey noticed.
"Sweetie….i thought your father told you to keep your temper in check. And put your semblance away i rather not have you poke someone eye out"megan warned as sabrina stared at it before molting it off which calida noticed. The two faunus stared at him because he might just give it away immediately when they arrive.
"No because your going to listen to little old me. I've barely gotten to know you but i can already tell you got very loose lips"akata replied to his disappointment as they kept walking for a bit. Though as they did they noticed declan talking with a few other faunus right now. Saber being one of them as the two where on a break from their previous spar session.
"So dec you think arra is in the mood after were done here for a nice cold drink. We could even invite asher since his town close by"saber suggested
"Defintily because maybe ambroise that dumb owl faunus was lucky and got some help for us their already. Along with junior assisting him"declan reminded as they forgot about that for a moment before sombra whistles toward her uncle

"We didn't ask you if you were related to them. "Jay added making her go wide eyed then she dashed sprinting away from them. They began the chase as someone her size was very fast maybe from her being an acrobat. The group kept chasing down the girl until she rounded a corner
"Ha! That way only leads to a dead end we got her now"saber said as they turned the corner to catch her. But to their shock they were met by a dead end that had a small vending machine full of snacks. Although their was no vents or anything their. This confused them.
"I uh…where did she go? Theirs literally no way she could have gone?"sombra said confused
"I don't know but lets head back to the others. This is weird"akata said as they walked away but after some time. When they were far enough on one of the walls a pair of eyes looked scared as it seemed to blend into the wall.
Inside the lower decks of the ship right now their was one thing going on right now after the little sparring incident after aruna learned something. Mainly being that pearl used to be a guy?! And how she actually likes girls and not boys since xander and her knew each as kids. But right now she was just flustered with some others right now.
"So your asking us for help on asking out that little wolf tonight?"coco aksed since her, pearl, jae, jazmine and eden where their right now since she thought they might be able to help her.
"Yeah you think this is a good idea right now since i don't know….uh he might reject you"jae pointed the obvious out as aruna went flush
"You don't think i know that! And also you guys suck for hiding the fact that she used to be a guy!"aruna shotued back pointing at pearl who nerovusly laughed
"I though you could tell…because no offense i've known him since we were kids. I like girls more"pearl reminded as the bengel fauna whined as her tail swayed around like crazy.
"Well were sorry because you never did ask. Besides it was so funny seeing you be the jealous type though don't worry we'll help you"kazmine said
"And right now you got an expert right here because i've dated several ladies and boys over my two years. Though none of them stuck since a few where a few one night stands if you know what i mean"Coco said sedecutivly as they stared at her.
"Did not need to imagine that but what exactly is your plan to ask him out and why do you even like him?"jae asked as the girl thought for a moment shuffling around in her bed.
"Well um i like him because he was very sweet when we were kids. I did mess with him alot as kids but one time when they visited dryshore I had this bullie when I was a kid. Believe or not i wasn't much of a fighter except more of well...a kiss up"She started
"Over maybe like two years i did what they were told, giving them food or money that my parents gave me. Though thing is they told me to steal some old ladys medicine to teach her a lesson for kicking them out of her store. I refused next thing I know they try to cut my tail off"she continued before smiling slightly
"Though he comes in tackling one of them to the ground stopping them. But he got beat up because of it until mom and uncle came to the rescue. Though after that I kinda fell for the guy."aruna said smiling at the thought as jae tapped her chin
"Wait didn't you date like another guy back in dryshore from what I heard?"she asked before an annoyed look came to her face as she gagged
"Ughhh him god don't even talk about that creep he was like eighteen or whatever. Thought he liked me but no he was going for all this"aruna said gesutirng to her body as coco snickered slightly as her stroking the girl tail making her flush
"Awww does that mean you'll let the wolf hit it"coco teased with a long whistle as the cat pulled away covering herself up right now.
"Okay now i'm scared of you because seriously you tease everyone here like crazy."jazmine added to their amusement though as they disucssed a small plan with each other coco was curious about the other person who was very quiet the entire time.
"So eden you date anyone before in the past or no?"coco asked startling the young faunuss who blushed slightly messing with her wrist sleeves for a moment looking away
"Oh me? Well…i…i…um dated a couple people here and their. A guy at first then I found out i like both genders so i dated a girl from the village for a bit. We ended things off after i found her cheating on me…first well…he was very rude."eden explained for a moment looking down rubbing her wrist eyeing her scars on her wrist looking away for a moment.
"Oh that sucks….hey maybe when were done with bengel tail here we help jae then you. Theirs gotta be someone you fancy"jazmine stated as a bright red flush happened on her face as she covered it. Though close by was piper who stared at her sister.
"Is big sis thinking about the pretty bu–"she was stopped as eden covered her mouth blushing mad right now because her little sister knows who she has a crush on and wants to keep it hidden to avoid the teasing. But coco ears rang hearing part of it.
"Wait a minute…do you have a crush on someone in our group?"coco asked seductvily
"No!"eden quickly shotued back as she kept blushing like crazy until piper removed her hand with an innocent gaze announcing something
"Big sis said she liked the pretty bunny rabbit"piper cutely announced as they got silent for a moment staring at the tot who just sold her sister out because she doens't really understand whats going on. As they sat in silence for a moment coco began to snicker then laugh pointing at her pounding the table. As did the rest of them
"Oh…oh my god you like velvet!?"jae asked laughing her butt off
Aruna laughed snorting"Seriously what the heck is with you guys….oh…oh what don't tell us you like cousin and her boyfriend"she asked making the bear blush even brighter.
"Oh my god she does…oh man okay i'm interested now. Since well for starters bun is my remaining teammate but i'm very willing to help you out after this"coco started peeking her interest
"Oh uh….i guess their no use hiding it. I regret telling you little sister because you don't know how to keep quiet"eden said pinching her little cheeks gently as piper shook her hands away sticking her tongue out.
"look…I…fell for your teammate for one obvious reason for how kind she is. Seriously she got stuck watching me most of the time while i was in that bed and on the way here. I kinda appreciated it alot actually. And uh well…i sort of like xander sister"eden cotninued confusing them
"Why sort of?"jae questioned
"Well i do find her very attractive i'll admit….but mmm i feel like she be the jelous type having to share her partners with another person"eden admitted as that was a possibilite but they don't know what that couple did recently.
"Okay that makes sense but what about grimm boy?"coco questioned as the girl then glanced toward the main reason being her little sister as they figured that out immediately.
"Oh i get it….you like him for saving your sister and since you guys well…share some history sort of"jazmine pointed out as she nodded
"I do….i…i was so scared when hassan had me and when i finally got to see vale again but it was in ruins. While I was very weak at the time he…offered himself up to save me which made me confused. Then he said my baby sister says hello…then I see how she keeps following him around the place."eden said smiling at her little sister for a moment
"I'm happy someone unlike me knows the pain she went through. Though…you think that…maybe they might let me join in. when this is over?"eden asked as they thought for a moment as coco hummed
"Well maybe….though you might wanna hurry bun told me she had her eyes on may before finding her boytoy. Who knows if they added another person to their little couple"coco added confusing them but they decided to help prepare a girl to ask out a certain wolf tonight to ease their love struck tension with each other.
In this chapter it seems that these hunters are more supcious than the group thought. Along with that blake seems worried that adam is going to backstab them. But also eden seems to fancy a rabbit with aruna working the courage finally to ask someone out.
