Chapter 138: Preparing a defense part 2
After their brief reunion togehter along with a slightly filling meal everyone decided to immeidaitly get to work on planning a defense for when havan academy is attack. As right now in the academy their were several people and faunus all preparing for the defense against hava,
As luckily talking with the guards of the situation which they didn't belvie but after some convincing even the police started to get involved. With some swat officers right now helping set up barricades with the local gangs they have to deal with. But they decided to put their difference aside for now to work for a common goal. They may be crooks but they aren't this devious.
Along with that the faunus where all preparing themselves as blake was giving a small speech to them again to them prepared for the coming battle. While the deasprdo got busy helping finish up setting up on nearby rooftops. With a few of them bringing deadly marksmen to hit any one from long range.
While the branwhen tribe warriors were their as their tribe leaders order but right now they were listening to mai and verona. As the two told them what they needed to do while raven and qrow had a talk with some family as of right now. But all of them were busy working together to make sure they don't lose another kingdom at that moment.
Although right now walking around the courtyard of the academy was miyuki who was talking with some others. Mainly being yumi, cardin and eden right now just chatting it up. As the four where preparing for whats to come.
"Man i can't belvie their are this many people here that want to defend havan right now. I means…wow"cardin said in shock at all the help their getting
"You said it i mean when those mercs got on board. I was surprised but hey we got yahto ugly mugg here. Though…"the panda saighed pausing for a moment
"It seems that none of us win the bet. With feathers apparently daring adam tarrus….i mean i never saw that happening"she added still shocked
Jay laughed close by"dude you have no idea what we saw back home. I mean those two always being at each other throats at time. Along with saying they don;t like each other but they do"he said walking over joining
"And uh you are?"cardin asked as the cat faunus offered a hand as he shook it
"Names jay i'm a friend of the blonde chick since we were kids"jay answered
"What you know how bad her puns are? Because i've just met her and i mean seriously shes terrible with them. Like a disease or soemthing"miyuki groaned as they laughed thinking about that right now.
"Though you need something? Because were kinda preparing for the battle ahead of us right now"Eden asked as the cat thought for a moment nodding
"Sort of. You guys nervous at all what will happen because i'm just gonna say i'm very nervous being here right now. I mean we have to fight four large armies with them having grimm knights on their side. Thats freaky"jay admitted
They themselves where nervous about it but they coudln't let that cloud their emtoions right now. Because weather they like it or not they need to help stop the attack on havan before anything else bad happens to the other kingdoms
"We got this okay. Look we might have a tough time fighting them off but…we aint just gonna back down and let them kill us"yumi said in confidence as they all nodded at that
"Your not wrong though….i wonder if piper will be safe here. I mean when you guys said she snuck on board to see eria. This place is dangerous someone her age"miyuki said with worire
As glancing close by they looked at about twenty uras that seemed to be on their side. Along the way of their landing they grabbed a few more to add their company. If they were gonna use grimm against them they might as well return the favor.
Though the uras faunus right now was petting one of the uras right now as it enjoyed the pets. With midney and billy their standing guard. Which eden shared the same worries sighing rubbing her arm
"I'm worried about her too because who know what might happen today. I mean i know this'll sound bleak i mean this might be some of our last days here"the bear admitted making it sound very bleak.
But as they sat their soon enough eden felt a pair of hands on her chest as she felt them squeeze her chest. The bear growled throwing the hands off before drawing both her machetes ready to fight whoever was their. But she was met by coco who had a grin on her face
"Seriously coco? You want to tease someone now of all times where about to go to war pretty much"cardin replied
"I mean it what she does though something up adel?"yumi asked
The girl wearing shades hummed tapping her chin because she might want to do something for her faunus teammate real quick. Mainly because the girl might never get the chance because next thing they know the grimm hybrid has to go into hiding the rest of his life.
"I don't know how about you five come with me because we need to discuss a very important thing right now"Coco said confusing them as they followed her.
The five of them followed the fashion monoger for a bit until she lead them to their desiantion. That being a small little spot devoid of anyone but right now waiting for them where a few people. That mainly being katherine, meg, nolan who was with scarlet. As this confused them right now
"What are you four doing over here right now?"yumi questioned
"We do not even know because the wolf chick dragged us over here. Saying its something important to do with my best friend"nolan said waving his hand around
"He right because we need to start preparing for the enemies coming our way"scarlett supported
Though katherine hummed for a moment eyeing coco as the two of them shared a look for a moment laughing at each other slightly
"Its nothing well…i mean it seems that someone might have some regret or a secret they need to get out right now. In this little group of people"katherine said confusing some for a moment though eden knew what she was doing.
"Uhhh what are you talking about ? Because we really need to go get things ready along with that. I gotta make sure my baby sister understand that she needs to stay out of harms way"eden said
Though as the bear was about to leave miyuki noticed something that she was blushing. Immeidlaty the winter maiden stopped her best friend laughing slightly because that what this was about right now.

This caused the bear to turn mad red right now as her ears flopped over completely crossing her arms over her bust. Immedialty that why they were here for some odd reason as cardin spoke up
"Uhhh is this about how weird you acted toward some of the people in the group during that small dinner we all had"Cardin asked making the bear turn away slowly nodding yes
"So where here to play match maker? We have more important things to do than do this"Scarlet reminded firmly though coco decided to press the bear on who she liked
"Awww come on i mean your boyfriends best friend is apart of this. I mean he might wanna be involved in it"coco clued in as it confused him but nolan immediately pieced it together staring at her
"Ohhh you like those guys…huh so your wondering if she can ask out my best friend. Along with her new partners in that relationship of hers. Also doing that because this might be the last chance she gets because we don't know how things will play out"nolan explained as that was the gist of it.
As some of them sat frozen as meg shared a look with katherine who laughed with her hand over her mouth
"It seems someone else is fancying your daughter. Because someone little sister let it slip out she found the rabbit…cute"katherine cooed making meg sigh rolling her eyes shaking her head staring at the girl who was blushing mad red right now.
"Let me guess you want her to ask if she can have my blessing."meg asked
"Sort of but hey i thought lets do this real quick. Before we have to fight for a whole night then be sore for like two months. Because oh boy tonight will be very long"coco said stretching her arms out with a pop being hear dstaifying her
"Just going to say this we do not have time to play matchmaker."scarlet remind firmly against they can't do this but cardin decided to point something out

Katherine nodded at that before glancing at piper"well you are right but well they already added her. Along with that she really cared for your baby sister alot saying how she wanted to show someone kindness. Mainly because of the experience she went through"she said making the bear stunned slightly but sighed before deciding to get this over with right now.
Although right now with that specific polyamry couple it was weird for the boy in that group. Mainly because zane wasn't getting slurs thrown at him or bottles right now. People telling him to stay back from anything or he might sabotage them
But instead he was finally met with some kindness by the faunus and their were even a few that apolgized to him. Which surprised him along with even the branwhen tribe treating him with some kindness and respect. Their was the despardos too which he found strange as he didn't expect blake speech to result in this.
"Man i can't believe blake deciding to reveal the chimera grimm and them showing you killing grimm. Well resulted in this"may said in shock
Velvet smiled at that"you mean how not all of them are throwing bottles at him or insulting him. Its…actually resuring that people are listening that he never really had control"she admitted
Onxyia stared at her leader and boyfriend who had the smallest smile on his face making her smile because she hasn't seen that in a long time
"Well i'm sure its made you happy. Because right now i have a great feeling that we will win this. We have enough people here to stop anyone that want to come destory havan. It…actually nice seeing my people take a stand against the fang now"onxyia said as he sighed nodding
"Same here…weird being…told sorry i…still feel guilty for that crap. But i wanna try to make it right saving menagerie and here might put me on that path"he said wisly making the three find that strange but as they continued to talk for a bit.
As walking over was eden who glanced nearby to see coco and the others as the girl gave her a thumps up. The bear groaned because this was just embarrassing as she began to walk over as velvet noticed her
"Oh hi eden do you need help finding your baby sister?"the rabbit asked sweetyl making her blush slightly
"No i mean well sort of…because i uh…umm.."she stammered with her words confusing them. Before long someone rushed over hugging a certain wolf legs that being piper. Though instead of a smile she saw she had a scared expression shivering
"Sweetie is everything alright. We told you to stay by someone at all times to make sure you are safe"oxnyia said picking her up as the uras turned into her chest scared. Though soon it was revealed which was a certain weasel making trouble right now of all times
"What she scared because i said she better stay out of my way. Because if she didn't i might mistake her for a freak"seth taunted with his cronies except a couple of them by his side as ava snickered at that.
This made them all just stare them down right now as eden felt disgusted that he would do that to her sister right now.
"Are you serious? How stupid do you have to be to hey lets cause trouble right now of all times. Drop the attitude because we might be fighting side by side soon"may stated as kai scoffed before staring at zane directly.
"Maybe but you better watch out their too freak. Might…accidnelty shoot you too in the back. We know what you are now with that thing in your back. Is it gonna reveal itself and take over to try and kill us."kai taunted
Though zane stared him down exhaling because he warned them as he walked over feeling the tendrils wrap around his brain. Then he opened them revealing crimson red startling them as they backed up with a few nearby noticing that keeping an eye on him

Sigma is a vicious murderer like her host who loves to tear and dissect people for fun. Kiyo loves to feed people to her pet snake….yes they have pets. King or queen grimm along with being bigger and stronger thant the rest. Then they also have semblances which some don't or can't figure out how to use. But…"he paused before grinning at the weasel who began to shake
"My host gave you a warning….your lucky we have to fight for another kingdom right now. But if you cause trouble again i'll take over. He may hold back but i won't….stay away from the uras girl or else"he threatened as soon enough a warm liquid was rushing down seth pants as onxyia noticed it laughing at him right now.
"Oh…oh you pissed your pants. Awww is the weasel now scared of the big bad grimm because if you even hurt piper. I'll get invovled along with the twenty uras by her side"the wolf warned as katherine snickered at that with cardin taking video of it. Though bane jumped at the group making them run away as he laughed releasing control of his host
"Dude did you have to scare them like that? I mean they deserved it but come on theirs a little kid here"zane said as the parasite laughed in his head
"But it was fun. Besides lets be prepared for when my siblings come if we need to i can turn your pain receptors off and go monster. But…well i say it when the time comes"bane said as he nodded. Though eden cleared her throat bringing them back
"Oh right you were going to ask us something"may said as the bear nodded mustering up the courage to do it. But instead of her doing it instead it was her baby sister

"Okay huddle up"may said before onxyia set piper down near eden as the four walked back leaving the blushing bear by her lonesome with her sister.
"So…we need to have a meeting now on this because now another person fancys us. Great…this is so awkward right now"may admitted blushing as onxyia glanced back for a moment taking in the girl appearance blushing looking away which velvet noticed
"Let me guess…you actually find her attractive"velvet asked as the wolf blushed but slowly nodded
"I..i..guess but how would we exactly do this? I mean five people? How would that even work by sharing the love equally"onxyia asked as the three girl found that a problem but the only boy spoke up
"I can share it equally i mean i've managed just fine with the three of you despite her just joining"zane admitted making the three girl stare at him. Though they quickly whispered something to each other confusing him before turning to him with an answer
"Okay we'll…allow another girl to join the group. But…"velvet siad because their was always a but to it
"But after where done here we should do something special together. I mean we can't exactly go to a restaurant maybe if we hide you. But you need to treat everyone with the same affection no matter what"onxyia firmly stated as her tail swayed
"Yeah also you need to sing each of us a song now and make some brownies and a nice meal for a week"may added as he took in their demand nodding. Then the four returned to the blushing bear as velvet sighed walking over kissing her on the lips making eden have steam come off her face
"And now welcome to the little couple….their better not be like fifteen more people joining in. then i'm out"may said as they laughed for a moment at the new person added to the couple already. Though close by the others shared some looks before fist bumping together was cardin and coco at a job well done.
Elsewhere in the courtyard as over near a small area testing out their weapons and doing maintance on them was rogue and her father. Though the blonde was testing out the new weapon she got as she laoded in a grenade shell. Then she placed the stock against her shoulder
Then she pressed down on the trigger firing off the shell that went flying as it hit its intended target destroying it. As the blonde was squealing holding brimstone in her hands in joy.
"This thing is awesome! I mean the spread and area of effect is awesome their like no recoil or kickback to it at all. Maybe if i use a gravity round or wind round"rogue said in complete awe
"Well i'm happy you have a new toy dear. Though just remember stay together and this time don't run off. Oaky"jaki warned as she nodded. Then she got to work loading up her pouches for the necessary equipment but someone was watching close by.
That being mercury who looked at his girlfriend worried right now thinking they handled it already. He really hates team BRAS for taking all his friends and cinder away. Especially her because she helped him through the grief of losing his dad. Saying how she had a similar experience with her own parents and they bonded over it.
With emerald checking her ammo along with her dust with eria doing maintance on her bat making sure it was in proper shape. Their was also calida their checking over her staff with vlad leaning against a crate. Along with dravan their talking with his wife.
But emerald soon noticed his worried gaze
"Hey merc you good over here you look stressed out right now."emerald pointed out
Mercury wasn't good as he shook his head toward her"no…i'm worried about her"mercury said as emerald knew who she meant.
"You mean my daughter you two idiots decided to support on going on a murder qeust"Caldia said though someone close by spoke up

"Kid…you don't gotta do that. Look lets all just watch each backs out their. From what my cold niece told me you seem to be good friends with them"Dravan compliemtned making him feel good hearing that
"Yes though i'm worried about your niece dravan. No offense but i've seen those eyes dozens of time and right now"vlad paused seeing the girl who was sharpening her axe with a confident look right now seeing those same fires that only lead down one path…blood.

"She well last night told us something. That she been having terrible nightmares for the last two month everysince pyrrha service. That she thinks its her fault that pyrrha died that day….because she went after tyrian"eria admitted making her mother eyes widden hearing that with some tears forming
Seeing her other daughter with her hair color staring at the shield in her hands with an upset look. Immediately calida marched her way over toward the blonde tinker. They all followed suit as right now rogue was staring at the many initials on the shield.
Because at times she still thinks that she might have to kill someone right now. If tyrian and selket are coming that means their out for her head right now. When that happens she doens't actually know if she could do it. Last time she cut his stinger off and now shes actually scared of what might happen tonight.
But soon enough footstep could be heard approaching her as she looked up to see her mother
"Oh hey mom wh–"she was stopped immediately
As calida knelt down pulling her daughter into loving embrace like a mother should. Because she didn't want to let go after what she just heard been plaguing her daughter for the past two months as she placed a hand behind her head gently petting it.
"Uh dear is everything alright do you want to hug our daughters again that badly?"jaki codly asked as he noticed her with tears as his wife asked the question
"Sweetie…why didn't you come to us to tell us you've been have nightmares. I…were your family you should have said something sooner"Calida cried stunning jaki as rogue flinch looking at her uncle who looked away
"You told them…i..i..we don't need to talk about this right now. We need to prepare for when they attack havan right now."rogue aruged though her new aunt shook her head
"Kid. i'm assuming they just had tis talk with you last night but seriously are you doing okay mentally up their. This may be our first meeting right now. But do you really think anyone will come back if you kill them"verona asked making the blonde look away but her mother moved her face to face her and them right now as she still held the embrace
"Sweeit we said we were going to talk about this. Right now i'm mad…mad that you would even consider that. Everysince you came back from vale you've almost gotten yourself killed….started fights with the neirbors. Ran away from home to kill people"calida said crying a little because it stills pain her she thought of doing this.
"Sweetie shes right because none of them would want you to do this. Because right now i don't want either of you to do something like that. Its…a line no one should ever cross because you could never cme back from it"jakis said with worry making rogue not like being psycho analysis right now.

This made her go wide eyed taking in those words they just told her. Then she stared at the initials on the shield staring at them right now wondering still how pyrrha would react. She would be devstated with her wanting to kill someone in her name along with that scold her. But tanner would probably become serious like he does at time and tell her he would never do that if he lost her. Instead stop them and lock them up maybe.
The blonde kept thinking about all the people she lost over the years as she just cracked. Her knees came away as she kneeled on the ground letting the shield go. It started to roll on the ground for a bit before landing face down showing the initials.
Calida pulled her daughter in as she felt her crying right now as rogue was beginning to shake like a leaf. Because she started to now realize what she was doing was just wrong none of them would want her to kill someone in their names. Her own partner and teammates with her other friends would be disgusted in her.
"I…i..don't know what to do…i…i just want my friends back…i want my sister back. I want pyrrha to come back…iit should have been me"rogue cried and cired as her mother pulled her back to show her still crying as she whipped the tears away with both thumps
"Don't you dare ever say that again. Look i know it hurts when you lose a friend to something like this. But i viewed her just like my own daughter just like the two of you. Thetis had the same thinking i'm sure but look at you. Your still a child and this type of reasoning will not help you in the slightest right now. We are going to stop them from destroying this academy…and…"She paused before pulling both her daughter in an embrace
"I am not letting some grimm freak and her psychotic husband with their even creepy daughter hurt you two. Because then mama magma will hurt them"Calida said making the two sister stare at their mother but dravan couldn't help but laugh
"Mama magma? God i forgot you called yourself that when they were younger"he snickered but his wife gave him a look
'Okay daddy dravy"verona ratted out making the man feel embarrassed as they earned a good laugh at that. But rogue felt a little better needing to hear that right now.
But elsewhere in the academy right now shen mei made her way back into the academy at that moment. As the women saw how many more people where here on the academy grounds which caught her offgaurd. Though with her right now was adder who was wearing some casual clothing to fit in with the faunus in here.
As the two were sneaking around looking for where the artifact was to quickly snatch it up then return back to the camp.
"So where is it? Because you must know where it is at least?"adder whispered
"I don't know. My guess is that ozpin is keeping it safe or he has it"mei replied making the snake go wide eyed staring at her right now as he just heard that man reincarnate. Quickly he grabbed her arm pulling her in close as they talked
"Are you telling me the headmaster is alive? I…how? Because i thought he wouldn't reincarnate so soon"adder whispered surprised as the womenw as surrpsie he knew about that before thinking this might actually get her on their good side
"Oh right he did…i forgot what he looks like since their group was quite big. But hes carrying that cane with him. Though…"she paused before eyeing a nearby door as she narrowed her gaze with a smile.
"I think they might be in their its just a hunch but they could be holding it their. That room is a storage closest with only one entrance"she added whispering
Then she began to tip toe over as adder looked worried right now for whoever that dreaded vessel was for the man. As the two walked over they stood their seeing everyone busy right now waiting for the right time to sneak inside the room
While they did mei peeked inside to see two of students their that being bombay and thsiites. As she noticed them guarding a very small box in their as she smirked
"It seems that they are guarding something in their. Along with that i know this school like the back of my hand…theirs a vent right here that leads directly into the room. Your semblance can knock them out correct?"she asked as he nodded
The snake faunus knelt down as she kept watch as he began to spray green gas from his hands into the vent. But inside the room right now the two girls had their weapons at the ready along with making some casually conversation
"Man i cannot wait to be done tonight. Because i mean our whole team is back together now which is just awesome."bomaby cheered with her tail swaying like crazy
Thistie chuckled"ahh it seems that you are anxious for tonight my feline partner. Because i'm happy too because once where done i'm thinking of performing for the group maybe. "Thsitie replied as the cat faunus sighed smiling
"Maybe you could though at least we got help for this. Still weird that kid is you know ozpin."bomaby replied
The two girl sat their just guaridng the artifact though soon enough thisite coughed for a moment. But then started to notice something that being a thick green smoke covering the room. The girl kept coughing and coughing from it. As bombay coughed a little feeling very sleepy right now herself yawning
Then the two tried to call out for anything till they both fell down to the ground. Immediately the door was slightly cracked letting the gas dissipate in the room. Then the two walked in as mei walked over opening the box to reveal the artifact
"We have the key…now we bring this back to your mistress. Then she can let me speak to my wife again"mei cheered quietly about to leave but adder stared at the two on the ground epsiecally bombay. The snake eyes his sword in hand walking over riaisng it above her. But mai stopped his gripping his wrist
"What are you doing?"she whispered in shock as he stared at her
"I have orders to eliminate these two…what you becoming sympathetic right now traditor?"Adder asked as she shook her head
"No its just…their just kids…i mean…you must have a rule on that. Sage lost her entire family when she was young."mei said making him freeze slowly sheathing his ssword. But he thought of one thing salem views those with silver eyes as threat. He might as well make her not a threat so she can live an easy life.
Elsewhere their was adam walking around the place but could tell the faunus were giving him glares. Because hes made a mockery of their name over the last few years. Making them all feared as monster and animals proving the public points that they are just animals
But right now he coudln't help but have a feeling in his gut right now. Not because he was sick but it did feel like he was sick. Maybe because he saw the man who took him in where he had no where to go after he escaped atlas. Raised him like his own son and this is how he repays him by making his peaceful group of protestors into terroist.

Then their was his old flame blake that ran away from him because of his hatred toward humanity. And he finally sees reason…he returns it by cutting off her arm
As he kept walking soon enough someone stopped him clearing her throat
"So from what the branwhen tribe and verona told me is true. You did leave the white fang tarrus"sienna said walking over toward him as he sighed
"Hello…miss..khan its nice to see you again after…..you left me and ollie in charge"adam shamefully greeted as he leaned against a pillar looking down. The bengel faunus stared at him for a moment before standing next to him staring at all the faunus here now wanting to prove to people they arne't just animals.
But as the two stayed silent for a moment the bengal decided to ask him a very simply question in mind
"So…i'm assuming that your nervous to be near the belladonnas. The same apply to me obviously."sienna said making his one eye go wide but he exhaled nodding slowly.
"I..i do…because right now after so many choices and actions i did in the name of our people. It finally hit me how stupid and idiotic i was. That…it took me chopping off someone i used to love arm off like it was nothing"he sadly replied making her surprised
The women studied his conviction seeing a boy who feels shame and guilt for what he helped caused. Then after a few minutes of silence she laughed slightly at him which confused him right now

Bowing to her as a sign of respect he began to search for her. As he asked a few faunus but they ignored him at that moment. But he asked weiss who pointed him to her direction. Blake right now was just finishing up organizing some faunus with her sister by her side. Jazmine was making sure her porthsetic leg was in working order. But walking over was adam as she glanced up noticing him
Then she placed a hand on her sickle glairng him down"what do you want tarrus? Come to take my sister other arm"she asked making him freeze up looking upset as blake turned to face him jumping slightly
The two former lovers stared at each other as amber met with his one eye along with his eyepatched eye. The two stayed in an akwrrd silence as she sighed.
"What do you need adam….i'm….busy right now"blake asked hesitantly as he stared at the ground with a sorrowful look. The faunus stared at her metal arm as he exhaled looking down
"I'm sorry and you were right"adam simply said making her confused staring at him as her sister was confused. Which gave him the go ahead to continue from their silence
"That i know you probably would like nothing more than to hit me in the face. Stab me…shoot me…or even rip out my other eye as payback for what i did. Back at beacon i…i took in those words that day in for a long time. That what i've done is just make our own people viewed as nothing more than animals"he started staring down at wilt as he clenched his fist tight.
"When i finally stop to listen…i return it by cutting off your arm after you tell me about an order to kill anyone who leaves. When you left their were times i thought you were a coward…but no it was because of me. I was the coward listening to that so called friend of mine. I'm…deeply sorry for my actions"adam finished with a bow to the two faunus girls
This stunned them right now as jazmine though he'd be weird like he uusaully was. But blake stood their taking in what he just told her how he actually listened to her. How what they were doing with the white fang was wrong. As they stayed in silence he decided to take his leave
"I'll leave you two alone….sorry for bothering you"he said walking away but then he felt something lunge at him from behind. Glancing behind it was blake who was hugging him with tears forming slowly smiling slightly
"I…i…its…nice to see your finally seeing reason.i..know we aren;t a thing anymore but….your on the right track owning up for your sins"blake siad spearing making him stunned for a moment turning back around giving her a nod seeing all the faunus here right now because of her words and her leadership.
"Its nice to hear that….though i'm sure your father is proud of you right now for bringing our people here together. To make us not be viewed as monster"adam said as blake smiled apprecaitng that as the two stayed silent for a moment
'You two gonna make out like you did before or what?"jazmine asked making the two shoot her a glare now.
"I'm dating yang thank you very much"blake said
"And i'm dating lazuli now right now i just hope where friends again"Adam said as the girl rolled her eyes as adam seemed to be trying to fix his relationship with the belladonna family and his people.
