Hey babes! Back again with a new chapter for ya! Something happens here that I think some of ya'll have been seriously waiting for.
Enjoy!

"First game back tomorrow, are you ready?" Clarke asks her boyfriend as they sit together on the couch in his living room, her legs resting comfortably in his lap as she munches on some apple slices. The TV is on, mostly for background noise so it's not completely silent as they relax.
Bellamy lets out a heavy breath, one hand mindlessly rubbing her calf. "I think so. We're up against Polis and they've always been our toughest competition. So the game could go either way."
Clarke's hands immediately still at the mention of the other high school. She shifts so she can look directly at Bellamy. "Wait, you're playing Polis?"
Bellamy nods, a slight furrow to his brows. "Yeah, why? What's so…oh." Recognition and realization pass over his face in an instant. "That's…"
"Finn's school," Clarke finishes with a nod when he trails off. "I am praying he won't be there, but I know he's on the team, so there's a chance we might run into each other at some point." She swallows thickly, one hand coming to rest protectively over her belly. "I don't know if I'm ready for that."
"You don't have to go if you don't want to risk seeing him."
Clarke tilts her head, giving him a small smile. "That's sweet of you to say, but I'm going. Little Bean and I can't wait to cheer you on."
Bellamy smiles, placing his hand over hers. "It's gonna be amazing when they're actually here and can go to games for real. I can't wait for that."
Clarke chuckles lightly. "Considering that I still have a few months left until I give birth, I think you can wait just fine."
His smile turns sheepish. "Sorry, I know. I guess I'm just excited. I was talking to some other dads recently and they were all saying that it just flies right by, and before we know it, we'll have a screaming baby in our arms to take care of."
Clarke tilts her head a little as she looks at her boyfriend, her brows furrowing slightly at his words. "You were talking to other dads? Who? And when?"
Bellamy glances down, removing his hand from her belly to rub at the back of his neck. "Uh, just some...just some guys I met on this forum. It's for dads, and it's there for trading parenting tips and discussing all sorts of different things. It's been...very eye-opening."
Clarke blinks a few times to try and clear away the tears she can feel building up, forever amazed that she lucked out with having Bellamy Blake in her life. "How long have you been in this forum?"
"Uh, not...not long? Uh...right after that first ultrasound you let me go to."
"But we weren't even dating yet."
He shrugs. "I know. But I was researching some stuff so I could help you better and I came across this forum so I decided to check it out. All the guys on there welcomed me with open arms, even though I told them I wasn't the biological dad and that you and I weren't dating. But they still gave me a lot of tips and advice to help you through your pregnancy when I told them the biological dad wouldn't be around. They were all beyond thrilled when I told them we got together on Christmas."
Clarke's smile widens as she leans across the couch to kiss him, one hand resting on his cheek, her thumb subconsciously brushing over his skin. "I love you, Bellamy Blake."
He smiles brightly. "I love you too, Clarke Griffin. And I love this baby," he says, resting his hand gently on her belly again.
"They love you too," she remarks. "You're going to be the best dad."
"I hope so."
She shifts her hand down to cup his chin to get him to look at her properly. "Hey. You are. You're already a great friend and a great brother, so it's reason to believe that you're going to be a great dad too."
"If you insist."
She smiles. "I do insist." She takes a deep breath and leans back, her hand dropping back to her belly. "Now, are you excited for the game?"
Bellamy lets out a breath and nods. "Very much so."
"Good. It'll be my first time attending a game as your girlfriend, so I can't wait to cheer like crazy."
Bellamy chuckles. "You already cheer like crazy."
"True. But when you guys win, and I come onto the court to meet you, I'll get to give you a congratulatory kiss," she says with a wink.
Bellamy grins. "Well, then I guess we're gonna have to win tomorrow's game."

"Where do you guys want to sit?" Clarke asks as their group makes their way through the crowded gymnasium of Polis High. They've only ever been inside the gym for away games to support their own school, though it's built mostly like any other high school gymnasium in existence.
"How high up do you think you can climb?" Harper asks her instead. "Whatever you think you can do, that's how high we'll go."
Clarke smiles at her friend. "You're sweet, Harper, but I'll be fine. And honestly, I think the higher, the better. Less chance of Finn potentially seeing me. I hope."
"Wait, didn't I tell you?"
Clarke turns toward Murphy. "Tell me what?"
His brows furrow. "I didn't tell you?"
"Now would be a great time to do so."
Murphy nods. "Right. Finn's not on the team anymore."
Clarke's eyes go wide. "What? When did this happen?"
Murphy shrugs. "I don't know. I was hanging out with a couple of guys I know from Polis and they were talking about it. Apparently, he didn't make the cut this year and was super pissed about it. Basically threw a tantrum about it."
"I'd say that's karma," Jasper chimes in. "With what he did to our Clarkey, I think he deserves it."
Clarke snickers at the nickname. "Well, that's a new one."
"He had a little too much pot before we got here," Monty explains with an exasperated sigh.
Clarke raises a brow. "And you didn't?"
"I am trying to start practicing not smoking weed all the time so I can be a good example to the baby once they're born."
Clarke keeps staring at him with that same raised brow.
He sighs again and then mumbles under his breath, "Jas smoked it all before I could."
Clarke laughs. "That sounds more like it. Think you can keep him reigned in for the entirety of the game?"
Monty shrugs. "I don't know. You know how he gets."
Gaia steps forward then, resting one hand on Monty's shoulder and the other on Jasper's, keeping the lankier teen from wandering off. She smiles slightly. "I think I can manage them."
Clarke chuckles lightly. "Gaia, if you think you can handle it, then be my guest. But don't feel like you have to or anything. They're mostly capable of taking care of themselves."
Gaia shakes her head. "I don't mind. I've never been the biggest fan of basketball, but something tells me keeping these two reigned in will be plenty of entertainment."
Harper snorts. "It's like she's always known them."
Clarke nods. "It really is. Now let's go find somewhere to sit so I can get off my feet, please and thank you."
Their small group quickly finds an area to sit, being greeted enthusiastically by other kids from their school who are decked out in the school colors. They get settled on the bleachers and Clarke is only somewhat regretting not getting some kind of cushion to sit on. The game hasn't even started yet and she's already getting uncomfortable from the wooden seating. She's certainly not looking forward to that for the rest of the night.
"Clarke!"
Turning, Clarke smiles brightly when she spots Aurora and Octavia making their way up the steps to join them. She scoots a little closer to Harper to make some more room on the bench for the duo, immediately pulling Octavia into a side hug when the young girl sits next to her.
"I was wondering when you two were going to show up," she says to them.
Aurora laughs quietly. "Octavia couldn't find the shirt that you helped her make."
Clarke nods. "Ah." She glances down at the young girl wearing the handmade t-shirt to support Bellamy. "But I see you finally did."
Octavia grins. "Yep. I'm so excited. I hope they win."
"Me too," Clarke admits with a grin.

"Hey, I'll be right back," Clarke says, leaning a little closer to Harper, one hand resting on her belly. "Little Bean's wreaking havoc on my bladder again."
Harper smiles and nods. "Okay. Do you want someone to go with you?"
Clarke shakes her head. "I'll be fine."
"Okay. I'll let you know what you missed when you get back."
"Thanks." She stands and shuffles her way through the bleachers, apologizing a few times when she accidentally bumps into someone.
It takes her longer than she'd like to find her way to the bathroom, getting turned around a couple of times and having to double back. But, thankfully, she manages to make it there right as she starts feeling like she's going to explode.
She quickly relieves herself and then washes her hands, taking a moment to look at her reflection in the mirror. She's been looking more and more tired these days, despite how often she takes naps throughout the day whenever she gets a chance to do so.
And her face isn't as thin as it used to be, a very clear sign of her pregnancy if the belly wasn't already enough of one. She's grateful that her belly isn't as big as some of the pictures she's seen, and she prays that she stays on the smaller side for the duration of the pregnancy. The last thing she needs or wants is to look like a whale at the end of the school year.
Glancing at the time on her phone, figuring she's been away from the game for long enough, Clarke pushes off the edge of the counter and turns toward the door. Her shoes echo against the tile as she walks across the floor, pulling the door open and stepping out into the nearly empty hallway.
She follows the sound of cheering, using it as her guide to get back to the gym for the remainder of the game. Bellamy's been on a roll the entire game, and she's eager to see him keep playing.
"Uh, excuse me? Are you Clarke Griffin?"
Stopping and turning toward the vaguely familiar voice, Clarke's brows furrow as she takes in the brunette standing in front of her, racking her brain as to why she looks so familiar. "Yeah, I am. Do I know you? I feel like I know you."
The girl shifts on her feet, her hands wringing together in front of her. "Not really. We briefly met once, about five months ago, and I—"
Clarke's eyes go wide. "Wait. You're…you're her. You're the other girl. Well, I guess technically I was the other girl in the situation."
"Yeah. I'm Raven. Raven Reyes."
Clarke swallows thickly. "What are you doing here?"
"Trying to support my school."
Clarke shakes her head. "No. I mean why are you out here with me?"
"I wanted to talk." She glances toward the gymnasium doors and then looks back at Clarke. "Do you have a minute?"
"I might. What did you want to talk about?"
"About what happened."
Clarke shrugs. "There's not much to talk about. Finn was dating both of us at the same time, consistently lying to each of us about it. I got pregnant, he tried to convince me to have an abortion and then broke up with me when I wouldn't agree to it on the spot." She rubs her hand absentmindedly over her belly. "So now I'm having this baby but don't plan on him ever being a part of their life."
"Hang on," Raven says, holding up a hand and shifting. "He tried to strong-arm you into having an abortion?"
Clarke breathes deeply and nods. "Yeah. He kept trying to convince me to agree to it at the moment. I told him the same day I found out and he tried to get me to commit to a decision on the spot."
Raven blinks. "Wow. What an ass."
Clarke scoffs. "Tell me about it. So I'm done with him. I'm keeping my baby and I have plenty of friends to help me and a boyfriend I'm in love with who's in love with me and is going to love my baby like his own."
"That's good. I'm glad you have a good support system behind you. If it was me in your position, I honestly don't know what I'd do. My parents are basically never around and would probably kick me out. As for friends, well, I don't think too many of the ones I do have would help me with something like this."
"Maybe you just need new friends."
Raven lets out a breath. "Yeah. Maybe. Well uh, I guess that's…everything. I just wanted to see you. To talk to you. I'll let you get back to your friends." She turns and slowly starts to make her way toward the exit.
"Can I ask you something?" Clarke calls out before Raven gets too far away.
"Sure."
"Did you…are you the one who started telling people I was pregnant?"
Raven sighs heavily. "Not intentionally. I swear. I was ranting to this girl I know and I guess she decided to tell more people. I don't know why, though. I didn't think anyone from our school would know you that well. Which is why I thought it would be fine."
"Well, it wasn't. It made its way to my school and people found out before I wanted them to. It felt like my entire world was falling apart."
"I'm sorry," Raven says, taking a small step closer. "I really am. I know it probably doesn't mean much, but I swear I never meant for that to happen."
"Well, whether you meant for it to happen or not, it still happened. But thank you for apologizing." She gestures over her shoulder. "I should get back before someone sends a search party for me."
Raven nods. "Right. Uh…good luck. With everything."
"Thanks." Without giving the girl another look, Clarke spins on her heel and walks back into the gym. She joins her friends and then glances up at the scoreboard, grateful to see that their school is still in the lead.
"You okay?" Harper asks her after a moment, the other girl's brows furrowed in concern. "You seem a little spooked."
Clarke shakes her head. "It's nothing. I just…" She lets out a sigh. "I ran into Finn's other ex-girlfriend."
Harper's eyes go wide. "What? Where?"
"In the hallway. I don't want to go into the details right now."
"Okay, that's fine. You're okay, though? She wasn't nasty to you or anything?"
"No, thankfully." Clarke takes a deep breath and sits up a little taller. "But right now, I just want to put that girl out of my head and focus on cheering on my boyfriend."
Harper smiles, linking their arms together and giving her a side hug. "I think that sounds like a great idea. And you know, I think Bellamy's ass looks just as good in those basketball shorts as it does in his football uniform."
Clarke can't help but laugh and nod in agreement at Harper's statement. She tugs her friend a little closer and leans their heads together for a moment, a permanent smile etched on her face as she watches the rest of the game. She's never been more grateful for her group of friends until she wound up pregnant, and she knows for certain that she wouldn't survive any of this without them. Not even for a second.
So? What did you think? Let me know in a review down below. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Until next time,
