One whole week after that night...

Izuku ran as fast as he could from his house to the apartment complexes southwest. With all his training it didn't even strain him, not to mention the adrenaline pumping through his veins helped immensely. Once at the stairwell, he leapt up the two flights with ease before knocking rapidly on the door. Seconds later, it swung open to reveal a girl with gleaming emerald eyes.

"Two knocks is enough, you know?" Ciana deadpanned but immediately froze when she saw what Izuku was holding.

His letter from UA. Just like her own. It was time.

"I got it! I... hah... hah... ran as fast as I... could," He huffed, shaking his head to stand up straight again.

Cianas eyes widened when she saw the letter in his hand, knowing it's going to hold the results of his test. Ciana wasn't too worried about what it could say… as she felt she had a good feeling about what it might say. "What are you waiting for then? Get in here so we can open them together!"

Ciana shouts excitedly as she ends up taking a hold of his arm to drag him in, already she grabs her own letter as they sit with each other on the couch.

The two stared at them like they were bombs ready to go off at a small nudge. "So... lady's first?" Izuku smiled forcefully. Translation, he wanted to avoid opening his.

Ciana could see he was nervous to open his, so she just smiled and nodded before her eyes landed back on her envelope. Slowly Ciana opens her letter and pulls the paper out from it, reading it over… Cianas eyes widened in shock and disbelief when she read the results.

"I… I-I got in!" Ciana stared at the paper in shock, hardly believing a regular girl like her managed to get into a real superhero school.

Izuku's smile couldn't have gotten wider for her. Those months of self doubt he had seen her beat into herself had simply been as they were, empty thoughts. She did it, and he had no doubt she would, "That's amaz-"

~I Am Here, as a projection!~ To frighten the teens on the spot was what fell out of the envelope after Ciana had tossed it onto the coffee table. It was a holographic screen recording of All Might himself in a clean yellow suit. ~It's been quite some time since we last spoke, hasn't it, Young Finley! I've heard your progress in training has born fruit in the form of your quirk, well done!~

~As for your results; while you written exam only scratched by the required grade, a pass is a pass - but where you shined greatest was in your Combat Exam!~ All Might then showed a projection with her name on it, there, to the right of her name was her score. 67. Her jaw dropped and her eyes nearly popped from their sockets trying to formulate a response to what she was seeing. ~With a number like that you cracked the top ten, you should be proud, Young Finley, you doubts were all for naught-~ With his hand outstretched to the camera, his constant smile seemed a little lighter. ~-welcome, to the Hero Academia~

The recording cut off soon after.

Ciana never expected not only did she get a letter of passing but a hologram of the famous hero All Might messaging her personally, she was very speechless as she continued to stare at the device despite its message being over.

Cianas gaze slowly turned to Izuku as she had no idea what to comment about this. "I… I-I got in the top ten?!" Ciana was beyond shocked, she never guessed that would happen. "H-how…?"

"Why are you so surprised? You helped so many people out there, and your training clearly meant a big difference in power," Izuku explained like it was so easy to see. He waved his arms wide. "Ciana, you made it this far because you wanted to, all that hard work was you alone, you are strong, with or without a quirk you did this," His words were from the heart, he meant every bit of it.

Ciana was still beyond speechless still, but hearing his words not only brought a smile to her but some tears in her eyes as well… after the vision she had Ciana didn't think it was very possible to attend the same school with Izuku, but knowing everything she work hard for after all… Ciana felt so happy for her efforts as she immediately flung her arms around Izuku, her tears continuing to fall but in a happy way.

"I-I would've never made it this far without you Izuku… I-I didn't think I ever be qualified but…" her arms around him tightened. "Because of you and everyone here… I-I feel I finally lived up to my mom's expectations."

He was, of course, surprised by her embrace, but smiled as his arms wrapped under her arms to hold her shoulders. "Yeah, you did it, Ciana," Once she pulled back from the brief embrace, Izuku eyed his letter with trepidation. "...okay, guess it's my turn,"

Picking it up, Izuku had given it a lot of thought in the coming days; now, all of his, All Might's, and Ciana's efforts were to be tested today. He ripped it in half with some effort, the letter landing in his lap while another metal disk clattered next to Ciana's. Just like before, a flash of light and All Might appeared once more.

~Booyah, I Am Here as a projection!~ He stated again. ~I know it's been a while, but with great power comes a great amount of paperwork! Apologizes, young man-~ All Might coughed and did a formal bow with one fist on his heart. ~-I didn't come to this city just to fight villains, you are looking at UA's newest faculty member!~

"You're seriously going to be working at UA!?" Izuku asked and as if by prediction, All Might nodded. Izuku's excitement reached untold levels. "This is amazing! The Number One hero is our teacher!"

Just then, a hand popped out at the bottom right of the projection, waving their hand clockwise. ~Yes, what's the matter? Who's showboating? Sorry, I'll wrap it put but I have to show him something first~ Then the hand put up one finger as All Might's brow actually raised with a worried state. ~Wait, I have to do how many of these things? Ugh...~ He shrugged at the camera. ~Right! So, moving on!~ He put his hand out as the other hand did an 'OK' sign.

~Right, even though you passed the written test, you still got zero Combat Points in the practical exam, sorry And like that, Izuku's whole world collapsed. He knew it... as much as Ciana assured him he felt it deep in his gut... how useless it was.

"I know that... of course I know," His voice broke a little, gripping his trousers tightly as his fist shook, trying to hold back his emotions. "It's all I've thought about," He was a failure.

Ciana was quite shocked by what she was hearing so far, Cianas gaze turned to Izuku in a very concerning and sad manner. Ciana could hardly believe this and wasn't sure what to say to comfort him. "Izuku…" Ciana softly said his name in a sad manner.

She knew it wouldn't be enough… but she placed her hand on his shoulder as comforting as she could be, she wouldn't go to the school if he wasn't going to be there with her. Ciana was quite serious about that.

~Fortunately, there were other factors~ All Might continued, and slowly, Izuku's head rose again to the projection. ~But before that I have another surprise!~ He turned with a remote to a screen to his right as the camera followed and zoomed in. ~Here, a short clip for your viewing pleasure!~

~Hey, do you have a sec? Sorry to interrupt~ It was the same brunette they met at the entrance to UA?

~She had a lot to talk about you after the exam, you know?~ All Might added. ~What did she have to say? Well stay tuned to find out~ He hit play again.

~You know that kid with the messy green hair and all the freckles, it's kinda hard to describe his face... he's kinda plain-looking? He doesn't really stand out or anything, you know?~ She looked to be struggling for words. ~I was wondering, is it possible to give him some of my points from the exam?~

Izuku's whole body relaxed in surprise, she... was willing to give up her own score for his sake? But why? She could jeopardize her chances too.

~I heard him talking about wanting to get just one point in, it just seems crazy, how can someone who took down that large machine all by himself not have any points in the end?~ She explained. The girl hadn't realized how much of an impact that had on Izuku. The times Katsuki shot him down. The Pros that said he was in danger or in the way. ~He would've had more points if he didn't stop to rescue me! He saved me, I have to make it up to him! Please sir, can you just give him my points?~

All Might stopped the recording as Izuku fell back on the sofa, completely in awe.

Ciana very much recognized the girl who they bumped into, glancing at Izukus expression made her feel… she honestly wasn't sure what to feel, but it sounds like it was because of her… that he managed to get into the school. "So that's how he got in…" Ciana mumbles to herself, her heart clenching in her chest. But… she is the reason Izuku got in so Ciana was very grateful towards her for stepping in like this.

"Izuku you…" Despite the pain she was feeling in her heart, Ciana is very proud of her friend as she smiled as happy as she could look. "I told you your efforts would pay off!" Ciana expressed cheerfully, knowing all along Izuku would get in the school.

He didn't speak, however, solely looking up at All Might's grin. ~You have a quirk now, yes, but like someone important to you once said, 'being a true hero is not from the strength of your muscles, but the strength in your heart'~ This time, Izuku smiled, it was small but held all his hope and relief toward the girl he made a quick glance to. ~Which is why I am here! You see, the Combat Exam was not graded on that alone~

After All Might crossed his arms into an 'X', the recording of the girl and Present Mic continued. ~Thanks for coming to the station with your request, but there's no reason to give him your points~ He patted the girl on the head. ~The kid's charting well on his own~

All Might stepped forward.~How could a Hero Course reject someone who is committed to saving others, no matter the consequences to himself? After all, that is what makes a hero~ He turned fully to the camera as Izuku stared in disbelief. ~And that is what UA is all about, training those who would risk their lives for the greater good~

A new tally board appeared with those in the top ten. Number One was Katsuki with 77 Villain Points, but to the right was another column, one he scored zero in. Rescue Points. ~So we have Rescue Points!~ All Might explained. In the chart, Ciana was ranked 5th, with Izuku in 8th. ~A panel of judges watches and award points for heroic acts beyond just fighting villains - Ciana Finley, 37 Rescue Points, and Izuku Midoriya, 60 Rescue Points! And Ochaco Uraraka, 45 Rescue Points!~

~You all passed the exam~ At his declaration, Izuku's eyes started to tremble as he bit his lip, unable to stop tears from forming.

"Is... is this some kind of joke?" He trembled, his smile shaky but remained.

~Welcome, Izuku~ All Might offered his hand. ~You made it, you're now part of the Hero Academia!~

"Thanks...!" He sniffed as the recording ended, leaving him to wipe his tears of joy. He did it, he truly achieved his hardest goal yet.

Ciana was taken back when she heard the message, she not only told Izuku her metaphor but their mentor as well… someone important to him? H-he meant her? Ciana blushed just being mentioned again in Izukus recording, but found it odd he knew about her metaphor. "Did Izuku tell All Might about what I said to him?"

Though despite finding that part strange, she was incredibly happy for Izuku as she glanced back to see his smile, Ciana always knew he had what it takes to be a hero and he really proved that when he saved that girl…

Without saying another word yet, Ciana gave him another hug. Very proud of her friends' hard work and effort. "I knew you had the heart in you to get in… I knew it, I never ever doubted you. Congratulations Izuku! You really earned this just as much as me." She tells him proudly, very happy that Izuku will be going to the school with her after all.

His arms coiled around her tightly too, burying his face against her shoulder with a warm smile. "Thank you... thank you..." He repeated under his breath, squeezing her close. Soon, they'd be on their way to becoming heroes, and to uncovering Ciana's connection to Meru Zena.

Ciana smiled more just seeing how happy he was, it warmed her heart to see how proud he now is of himself, Ciana held him tightly back as her head laid against his own. Her smile stayed as bright as the sun just knowing Izuku's dreams are another step closer for him. "I'm so proud of you, Izuku…"

She softly tells him as her arms stay around his warm embrace, Ciana is very much looking forward to many more exciting experiences with her friend. Ciana just hopes he still won't forget about her, that thought still made her worried as her expression frowned just a little as she kept it hidden from sight from him.

"Oh! Why don't we head out to the cafe we always meet at to celebrate?" Izuku suggested, emphasizing his point with his finger. "We've never actually sat in to try their sweets before, so why not now? Or do you have any suggestions?"

This is definitely a great time to celebrate their achievements, Cianas smile smile rose back up as she nodded at his suggestion. "Yeah! I think that's a perfect idea, this is the best opportunity to treat ourselves after all the hard work we done."

She responds very cheerfully, already Ciana grabbed her purse from off the couch as she was excited to head out with him.

Having simply been dragged into her home, Izuku was ready to go again, picking up his acceptance letter and the recording and stuffing them into his bag for safe keeping. "It's only the afternoon so they should still be open long enough by the time we get there," He had to make sure to phone All Might to meet up later, if he'll answer this time now that the results were out. "Ready?"

Ciana already stood by Izuku's side as they headed out of her place, nodding in a very cheerful manner. "As always!" Ciana responds as they now start walking down the stairs, feeling happy inside after today.

This almost felt like a date to Ciana, already blushing from the idea as her gaze turned away shyly by the thought. "So, did you… by any chance tell All Might what I said about what being a real hero is about?" Ciana asks as she wants to start up a conversation.

For a split second, Izuku had realized that All Might had let slip what he asked Ciana when they met again in the hospital, thankfully, he had an answer. "Well, it's safe to assume M-Mr Yagi told him what you said since t-they work together at All Might's Agency," Then he asked. "Will you be okay knowing All Might's our teacher? I mean, you were pretty anxious around him when you met."

"Hm? Oh I think I'll be fine around him now, when we first met I wasn't used to meeting anyone so big and powerful as him…" Ciana had her arms around her back as she still looked forward. "But after adapting to your world and meeting so many quirky people, he doesn't frighten me as much anymore. Besides he's a famous hero here so there's no reason for me to be afraid of a real superhero now after knowing a lot about him from you." Ciana looked back at Izuku with an amused chuckle, knowing how big of a fan he of that man.

Though expression turned into a little fear as her gaze went back to the road in front of them. "What I'm more afraid of is that man who pledged my dreams… he's ten times more frightening, I still wonder if he's watching me somewhere… I can't help but be on edge whenever I'm still by myself in my apartment…" Cianas eyes narrowed in concern, always she can't help but wonder when or how he will turn up…

It couldn't have been easy, Izuku thought. She had to live for months wondering if one day Meru Zena would suddenly appear to abduct her, so far, he's been silent. Watching her eyes wander with anxiety and worry, he nudged her side. "I know it's not a lot, but, soon we'll be in dorms with dozens of other students from the Hero Course, not to mention UA itself with several high-ranking Pros, he won't take you, I promise," Then he added bashfully. "Besides, w-we'll stick together,"

Ciana glanced at her friend when he nudged her, listening to his words was enough to relax her a little. Her smile rose back as she felt her heart race from his comforting words. "I admit I always feel safest whenever I'm with you… so I really appreciate you always being here for me…"

She responds happily and a bit bashfully herself, since the day they first kissed, Ciana began to feel a lot more flustered around him… but in a happy way.

"I'm returning the favour, you always stuck by me so it's only fair," He smiled reassuringly.

Their walk was a comfortable silence as their journey was brief as they came upon the street with the small cafe tucked among many unassuming buildings and shops. 'The Dicey Cafe' is read from a sign fixed above the door, a large window peering into the establishment to their left. Through the glass, the interior was cozy, several arm chairs were set around coffee tables nearest the window and along the right hand wall as you enter were tables for two separated by wooden beams. The counter to the left. In the back were the larger tables.

All of it was wooden in texture with a slate black floor and soft lighting say for the long counter itself. Izuku stepped in first, holding the door for Ciana as that distinct jazz music reached their ears.

Ciana thanked Izuku for the gentleman act as she walked in, the place looking so comfy and fun to hang out in as always. Ciana always enjoyed their short times here, it didn't take long for her to find a place for the both of them to sit. now glancing back at Izuku. "This place never gets old to me, it's so much fun to come here whenever we're so worn out from school or training." She says cheerfully, never going to many places like this from back in her own world.

He nodded in agreement, "Again, it's really convenient for both of us too," Sure, when they enrolled into UA, they'd be unable to come back here as often if they were ever in the area again they'd definitely drop in for a bit. Especially since those that worked here were really nice, that was proven more-so to regulars like the two of them.

"Hey you two, pretty late arrival dontcha think?" The one behind the counter, the owner himself, gave a slight nod as he eyed them curiously. He had greying black, spiky hair, faded red eyes, and slight stubble along his jawline. He wore a grey dress shirt, black dress pants and black dress shoes. He also wears a ring on his right index finger, two other rings on his right ring finger. While drying a cup in his hands he leaned forward to eye Ciana. "Kid finally asked you out or something?"

"Eh…?" Ciana's face became incredibly red at what this guy just asked her, glancing at Izuku then the man as her hands panicky waved in front of her in a bashful manner. "O-oh n-no no you got the wrong idea!" She quickly says before rubbing her neck shyly and laughing sheepishly.

"W-we're just friends, that's all. W-were just here celebrating our accomplishment of getting into UA." Ciana says, still very red in the face.

"Huh, no kidding?" He blinked slowly, then smirked sharply. "Well, not quite what I was expecting for an answer, but hey, congrats - best school in the country no less, hah," He raised his empty cup to them. "Well, you know the drill, come up when you're ready to order, kiddos," Then he added before walking away, giving them a cheeky grin. "Oh and no one here believes that about you two for a second," Then he walked to the opposite end of his station with a whistle, leaving the pair of blushing teens to themselves.

Ciana had no idea what to say after that comment, what did he mean by no one here? Was he implying more than one person thinks that here…? Ciana glanced at Izuku to see he was just as red as her, she tried to laugh it off to ease the awkwardness. "Hehe… t-that sure was unexpected." She responds while picking at her cheek.

"I wonder what gave him that idea anyways…?" The red on her cheeks doesn't even light up just yet.

"It... it uh m-might be because we've always c-come in here so often, a-and the waitresses that w-work here often called us c-cute when they though neither of us were paying a-attention," Izuku had done his best to tune it out but over the course of several months it became harder as he started to fall hard and fast for said girl right in front of him. "G-guess we kinda never r-realized it."

"Hehe, it's cute that they think that though." She continued scratching at her cheek, wondering if it's even common in Japan for a boy and girl to hang out as friends without being mistaken for a couple.

"I never realized we became the top gossip for the employees here." Ciana giggles. "Say, has our mentor ever said the same thing to you Izuku?" She now asks in curiosity, remembering he mentioned Izuku spoke highly of her.

"Uh, well..." Izuku's gaze went to the table in thought.

"You know, she's a lot like yourself, young man," All Might debuffed spoke after Ciana went on her circuit of the beach, leaving Izuku with his mentor and idol.

"She is?" He asked, curious by what that meant.

"I can see it, she doubts herself capable of keeping up with you, just as you yourself struggled in your first few weeks of training with me," All Might noted, watching her maintain her breathing as she kept a good pace with a firm glare. "But her spirit is as fiery as yours," Then he chuckled, nudging his elbow against his successor. "You both can get lost in your own little world together, you both clicked almost instantly,"

A hot flush appeared on the greenette's face, waving his hands frantically. "W-we're just g-good friends!"

All the skeleton man did was laugh, patting the boy's back roughly to get him back onto the sand. "Sure, sure, youth and their mixed feelings, now, hop to it, Young Midoriya, this beach won't clean itself!" He rallied.

Izuku sighed, closing his eyes with a tired smile. "...I'm starting to think everyone thought of us that way..."

"Hm?" Ciana stared at Izuku with a look of wonder, blinking her eyes a few times as she tried to predict what he meant, tilting her head in a more curious manner. "Does… that idea bother you by any chance…?" Ciana was a little concerned as she noticed Izuku looked almost uncomfortable by the idea of that…

Realizing how it sounded, Izuku quickly waved his hands, "N-no, that's not it! I... erm... just d-don't like people assuming t-things, that's all," He reevaluated, looking toward the counter. "A-Anyway, want to order now? Before our time's up here?"

Ciana didn't really take that entirely well… but she kept on her smile to not make anything more awkward between them. "Y-yeah we might as well, I think I'll just have some ice tea and their strawberry chocolate cake." She suggests for herself, pulling out her purse to take out her wallet.

But a hand stopped her as Izuku nodded. "I got it," He offered a polite smile, turning to go and pay for her order himself. "And no, you don't owe me,"

Ciana was a bit surprised by the kind gesture, not that she didn't appreciate it but she wouldn't want him to spend his money on her. "A-are you sure? I mean I don't mind paying for my half, but that's sweet of you to do." She responds with a little smile and blush on her cheeks.

Shaking his head, Izuku added before he went up. "It's fine, just consider it my thanks, Ciana," With a sweet smile, he walked up to the owner to ask for their order, the man nodding with a smirk as Izuku's face went a little pink as he said something in return, causing the older man to laugh and nod along as he went to work.

Ciana watches as he makes his way to the counter and notices their reactions, seeing Izuku acting all bashful as usual she can guess they made another comment about them being a couple. Ciana chuckled from where she was as she still watched. "I wonder how Izuku would be if we actually did date, he clearly isn't used to the whole idea of romance very much."

She comments to herself with another giggle. "I'm glad he at least didn't seem too bothered by the whole test thing we did a week ago, I think…" already she blushed a bit more pink at the memory.

Over by the counter, Izuku fared no better, "Listen, kid, you clearly like her so what's the issue?" The owner, Hanzo, asked as he prepped the tray with their drinks.

"T-that's the thing, I-I'm really not sure if she l-likes me, o-or is just embarrassed around me," It was very hard for him to tell the two apart, he wasn't an expert in this field, and nothing he thought of could help him understand further. "I just... feel scared I'll mess things up,"

Hanzo nodded slowly, placing one slice of strawberry chocolate cake and a slice of Victorian sponge cake on their respective plates, "You've gotta stop overthinking these things, Midoriya, sometimes, it's just as simple as she likes you and vice versa, can't really be all that complicated," He rolled his eyes, placing the tray forward as Izuku paid but instead, Hanzo took a smaller amount. "Hey, you're treating her and you've both been working hard for this, so take the price cut and enjoy - but also," He jabbed Izuku in the chest as he leaned forward. "Just do what ya think is right in the moment, no need for dramatics, kid," Ruffling Izuku's hair, he went back to work cleaning the counter.

"Th-thank you, sir," He bowed his head quickly and made his way back to his table. His grip on the tray tightened. "He's right, maybe not now but... if the opportunity arises I'll... try,"

As Izuku was doing his own thing, Ciana pulled out her phone as she fidgeted around with it. Curious to know if it even works in another world or not. "I never got the chance to find out if my phone even works in this world… I mean I clearly can't reach my dad but it's hard for me to tell if this would even have any connections to this world, I wonder if I should get a new phone?"

She asks herself in wonder as she stares at her screen, though soon Ciana noticed Izuku was taking quite some time. Ciana glanced over her shoulder to see why he was busy but could see he was coming back by the time she glanced over to him. "Oh hey, I was just wondering what was taking you. Did you have a hard time deciding what you wanted?" She asks as her eyes are now on her friend.

"Uh, a bit? Mr Hanzo wanted to talk a little too," He replied honestly, setting their order down. "Hm?" He noticed what was in her hand. "Your phone? I thought it was useless in this world aside from a few functions?"

"It is, at least I think it isn't…" Ciana glances back to her phone as she was still unsure about it. "I never got the chance to find out if I can use it here, calling my dad sure didn't reach… I was kinda wondering if I should get a new phone here or not." She responds while still staring at it, narrowing her brows in wonder.

"Though I'm worried if I'll spend too much if I do get a new one, after all I have to use my new allowance wisely." Ciana knew how pricey some phones can be and was worried it would take up too much of her food money.

Rubbing his chin in thought as he sipped his tea, Izuku made a few calculations in his head. "Your allowance has been enough to keep you going with Mr Yagi's meal plan, as well as clothing, and other essentials, I suppose if you subtract any clothing purchases that aren't necessary, even cut back on certain foods or find cheaper options you could set money aside," The nerd muttered slowly, "UA is another month away, by then, you should have enough saved for an older but lasting model,"

"Yeah… I guess I could." She stared at her current phone in thought as she took a bite of her cake. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to take a look first, plus that way we can finally keep in touch better." She expressed happily at the idea, Ciana always wished she could have her friend's number to chat with.

"I'll see if I can't narrow down some options when I'm home, there's a few I can think of that are very reliable," Izuku offered, digging into his own cake with a satisfied sigh. He couldn't help but hold a small smile, the music, the atmosphere, most importantly, the company he had. Izuku felt lost in bliss again, he felt normal and safe here without a care in the world. "I'm glad we decided to come here,"

Ciana took a sip of her tea a few times as she listened to the music, seeing Izuku perk up put a smile on her face. "Me too, I'm glad you showed me this place before. I always enjoy whenever we come here together." She says cheerfully, taking another bite of her cake.

"I admit I'm a little nervous about UA, it was nerve wrecking enough attending a new Japanese school with super powered students, but now going to a school to learn to be a superhero… sounds just as intense."

"You and me both, I just hope I can learn to control my power in a short time," Izuku admitted, looking at his palm as he chewed. "I'm just missing something, but what?" It frustrated him that he had already met a dead end.

"Well, that's what the hero school is all about right? Learning to use your powers more wisely? Since All Might will be there as our teacher I'm sure he will help you control it." Ciana says, knowing the topic back on his hero would probably excite him.

"And besides, if you get into any trouble again I'll be there to boost you back up." She expresses reassuringly, giving him a wider smile.

Chuckling a little at her enthusiasm, Izuku stared at his murky reflection in his tea. "I know, and I appreciate that, it's just... everyone has years of experience compared to me, even you've managed to tap into your power with months of practice, I've... only got today and we've seen how that went," His face was a little red from how mortifying that was. "Everyone probably thought I was a glass cannon after that stunt,"

"I wasn't there to see you, but watching that message about what you did for that girl should have given you more confidence." Her eyes stayed on him as her smile also stayed to comfort him. "I mean you proved exactly what you wanted to do as a hero and it was enough to show how worthy you are, hero's always do some reckless things when they want to help others."

Her expression now began to look more serious. "But that doesn't mean you should do it often, I know you'll always keep surprising everyone with what you can do. But make sure you still be careful and not do something that will cost you your life..." Her eyes soften a little to look almost fearful, hoping he doesn't die from doing anything rash…

"I-I won't, I swear, though... I may break more bones in the process - but nothing life-threatening!" He raised his hand in a solemn vow to the often scary girl who worried for his health, it was a good balance if he was honest. "Still, it's nice to know that two people we've met are certainly getting in, aside from Kacchan, that being that Kirishima guy who helped you and the girl I saved, Uraraka, was it?"

Ciana sighs, but nods agreeing what he said. "Yeah that's is great at least, it's nice to know we will be getting new friends in school." Ciana's eyes wandered down at her cup of tea, maybe a little worried how far the relationship would go with Izuku and Uraraka. "I'm sure that girl is even looking forward to seeing you again after you saved her like that…"

He made a tilt of his head, "Probably, but really, i-it was nothing, I'm just glad no one else was seriously hurt - t-though she was willing to give up some points for me, I should definitely thank her when we do meet," It wasn't needed as shown but the thought was more than enough to make him grateful.

Ciana nods in response, perking up a little smile at least thankful to her too for being there for Izuku. "You should, I think I will too for her looking out for you. I bet you both even made a great team out there during the test." Ciana had a lot of things to think about, the vision before still bothering her… Ciana started to even wonder recently if being here was really a mistake.

"W-well, all I did was break my body and punch a robot, she just slapped my face to stop me from breaking my fall with my face," Izuku laughed slightly at his misfortune.

Eventually, their celebratory meal was gone without a trace under their small talk before they knew it. The pleasant atmosphere had completely swept time away from them before they realized that the cafe would be closing shortly as the last few customers had already left ahead of them.

She does take notice of that, probably their cue to take off as well. "Well that sure was a sweet treat for us, we probably should start heading back unless you want to go anywhere else?" Ciana sits up to hear any more possible ideas from Izuku, her cup and plate both now empty.

Izuku opened his mouth to say something, but then his phone buzzed as he quickly took a peek at who it was. In surprise, it was from All Might, he wanted to meet him at the beach, thankfully, Ciana couldn't see it. "Well, I-I have to get going but I've got time to walk back to your place if you want?" He'd at least do that much for her.

Ciana was kinda bummed he had to go as her expression looked a bit disappointed, but guessed his mom wanted him back. "Well alright, did your mom want you back sooner for something?" She asked in curiosity as she now stood up with her purse over her shoulder.

"Something l-like that, as I said, can't really prolong her questions forever, hehe..." He really didn't want to lie to her but what else could he say? 'Oh, I'm going to the beach to talk with All Might about my quirk I got from him', sure, he hoped he'd agree to let him tell Ciana about it soon to avoid any other issues like this one, but as of now, it was just safer, even if he hated it. "S-sorry, I... wanted to spent a l-little more time with you,"

"It's alright I understand." Ciana still smiles as she walks out with him, though she can't help but feel Izuku is keeping things from her sometimes… glancing at her friend in wonder of this. "Hey Izuku, not that it's any of my business but… are you by any chance keeping some kind of secret from me?" She asked as her eyes stayed on him out of curiosity.

Oh crap. His whole body locked up at her intrigued gaze, even as the night slowly rolled in, but that alone couldn't hide his stuttering expression. "W-what? No, I, uh, j-just have something p-personal to handle... at home! I-it's really nothing, trust m-me!" This was bad, he couldn't lie to save his life, she knew this! "What do I do? She's going to ask me to elaborate or she's aware I'm lying!"

Judging by the way he was stuttering and panicking… Ciana could tell he is keeping something from her, narrowing her eyes in suspicion of this reaction… "He's definitely keeping something from me… is it really my place to ask though?" Ciana ended up sighing as she looked forward. "Alright, if you say so…" She surprisingly responds, Ciana hoped he wasn't doing something dangerous behind her back. But sometimes she couldn't help but feel she was getting in the way with any progress he's trying to achieve…

After walking in silence for another five minutes, Izuku found his voice. "...it's about my quirk, or... part of it I guess," He admitted, playing with his hands without looking directly at her. He couldn't lie to her, not if he could eventually tell her everything. "...I... just can't say why yet, it's... not entirely my place to say, sorry... but I'll tell you... someday," It was the best he could hope for right now. The more that know the greater the risk, but he trusted Ciana to hold onto this secret too.

Ciana was a bit surprised at what he admitted so far, her gaze turning back to Izuku in concern. "Huh? Your power? Your… y-your not doing something dangerous behind my back with your new power are you…?" She now asked with a lot of concern and seriousness in her tone, already beginning to worry he's doing something rash again.

"No, nothing like that!" He immediately answered, motioning with his hands to calm her down. "It's... very complicated, but I'm perfectly fine, I swear, what happened today was about the worst of... well any of it actually,"

Ciana managed to calm down a little but her eyes still held some concern for her friend. "What do you mean? Is this really something important you can't trust me enough to handle?" She asks kinda sadly.

"Like I said, it's not just my place to say, I want to tell you... more than anything, but..." It was still unknown if he could, and now that she was aware, Ciana would start to question the truth further. "Please, I... really need you to trust me," He grabbed her hands tightly, begging her to at least wait longer. "Please, Ciana."

Ciana blushed by the sudden grab of her hands, staring into his eyes in silence for a few seconds. Ciana sighed but perked her smile back. "Alright, I guess I can understand if there's something too important for you to say. After all, all superheroes have their secrets they need to keep for good reasons." She responds softly, at least not taking this too personal.

"Thank you..." He breathed a sigh of relief, bowing his head until it almost touched their joined hands. Raising his head again he still looked bothered, frowning constantly. "I'm sorry,"

She wasn't mad at him as Ciana could tell Izuku had his reasons, surprisingly she leaned her head onto his shoulder as she still softly smiled. "It's okay, just promise me you won't do something rash that'll end up getting yourself hurt…" Ciana softly asks as she gripped his hand and tightens it a little.

His eyes widened, and slowly, his head landed on her shoulder, squeezing her hand back. "I promise," He whispered.

Eventually, they parted and he tugged on her hand, "Come on, I said I'd take you home before I left, right?"

Her heart felt warm at the same action back as it made her smile more… Once they parted, Cianas smile grew more with a pleasant giggle. "You did and you better still keep your word." She playfully teases as she lets her friend tug at her hand.

While Izuku took Ciana home before his secret meeting with All Might, the night sky was lit by starlight as they walked down the streets, completely unaware of the one watching them from a rooftop. They didn't hear the conversation, nor did they care, but the pair were close, that much the watcher could tell from a glance. This may complicate things.

Raising their petite fingers into their black hood, they spoke with a soft, cold, feminine voice. "Should I intercept?" They asked, watching the pair walk away.

~You only need to observe, there's time for her to grow, UA is only around the corner, but good work nonetheless~ A smooth, deep voice replied. ~Anything to add?~

"Nothing. She remains ignorant to me." The girl was anything but self aware, the last five months were proof of that say for the times Detective Tsukauchi appeared. "I will return now,"

~Standing by, Rift~ The girl stood tall, and with a snap of her fingers, a red tear in the air appeared, allowing her to slip away unseen with a distinct 'pop'.
