While riding in a train:
"Even if he's still an immature child..." Sai speaks.
"Hmm?" Naruto narrows a bro, sitting on the opposite side of Sai and Tsukauchi.
"I think it's too big of a risk to allow someone we don't even know about into Musutafu." The Anbu chief states.
"That's a reasonable concern." The number 2 gets it.
"I gotta agree." Tsukauchi nods, "It would be like handling a kindling that could burst into flames at any moment." He adds, "Even to the fact that Kara's frantically searching for him."
"If they come to try and take him back... it'll be at a worse case scenario." Sai gazes in thinking.
Knowing what that means, "The city will become a battlefield again." Naruto finishes that statement.
This is when they receive a call from Komago about the situation with Kawaki.
After hearing the call in speaker, "Yeah... got it." Naruto nods and hangs up, "Now we've got an urgent crisis on our hands."
"Indeed... "Sai trails in unease, "First he escapes from the Ryukan lab and now he's roaming around free in Osaka."
"To make matter worse, we won't just be having to deal Kara going after this boy... but the League of Villains too." Tsukauchi adds as well, annoyed with this, "We'll have to start by going to Osaka.
"Right. We'll join in on the search and get to the kid before either Kara or the League does." Naruto decides, gazing through the window to know that things could get serious during this search.
Several random pros from cities close to Osaka have been notified, keeping their eyes open if they spot Kawaki on site, which would be hard to do as Kara, the League, and other villains are also in the midst of searching from in other cities. Things are on edge and anything could happen in this current pursuit.
Meanwhile:
Hawks recives the call while floating in a relaxed position via wings, "Oh-ho? affirmative... shouldn't be too hard since we're in Osaka city right now." Hawks reveals before hanging up with a relaxed gaze and floats down as soon as Fumikage sees the villains they've beaten turned over to the cops, "Well Tokoyami, we're in luck, cause you and I are going on a quick side-quest."
"A side-quest? What type is it?" The bird teen asks.
"There's a fugutive kid that's running around in this city and serveral pros are looking for him." Hawks explains.
"Do they know what he looks like?" Tokoyami asks.
"Hmm... he has hair that's half-blonde and wears a boue sleeveless vest." He explains, finger under his chin.
"Isn't he the one that caused a fight at the diner of this city?" He recalls the news and Hawks confirms it, "In that case, it won't be a problem if you spot him while flying above." The bird teen notes.
"It wouldn't, that's true, however..." Hawks adds, "We still have to keep our guards up, because the League of Villains and this 'Kara' are also involved in tracking this kid."
Tokoyami recalls back to the league that attacked the USJ, particularly Kurogiri, while this Kara is unknown to him. He replies with a nod, "Yes sir. Where should we begin?"
"Good question. Where too..." Hawks thinks with a finger under chin.
Meanwhile, having arrived at Osaka city through unknown means, Delta steps into the open space as the crowd walks through, "Ha! I made it here before the other Inners... what slowpokes." Delta smirks in a chuckle, "Now then Kawaki, where could you be hiding?" She starts to move as her cloak breezes through the air.
Opening 7 "Hajimatteiku Takamatteiku" by Sambomaster
Starts off with the introduction of Kawaki, who slowly turns around and menacingly raises out his right hand. As he does that, debris starts to levitate around the air as we zoom out to the destruction of Japan before the series title reveals itself.
As the song picks up, we see shots of a few U.A. Students, Boruto(who looks down before gazing up), Izuku(who looks at his scared right hand before gazing forward), Katsuki(who glares with one hand in pocket before un-tightening his right hand to do a mini-explosive), Sarada(who takes off her glasses and activates her Sharingan), Shoto(who looks upward and blows ice fog from his mouth), Mitsuki(who has a snake around his arm/gazes up while sitting on a tree). Next shows some of the Pro heroes(Naruto, All Might, Sasuke, Endeavor, and Shota).
We then cut to the League of Villains, Tomura (with gazes from his hand-mask) the Shins(both serious with their Sharingan's active), and Kurogiri(who opens a portal to his side), along with new recruits: Dabi, Nanashi, Himiko, and Shizuma. With all of them being in the shadow of All for One (who has his back turned in not revealing himself).
Next shows Kawaki in the outskirts and deserted area of Japan as a flock of crows fly nearby. We then move on to Boruto (who's Karma seal activates in his right palm before he closes it) and Izuku (who activates the bio-electricity of One for All around him), along with the rest of Class 1-A in their hero costumes as they all stand in battle positions with firm expressions.
Observing the ruined land of Japan from afar is none other than Kara the Husk, who all have dark black cloaks as the wind breezes through them. We then cut to Kawaki being in what appears to be a test tube and blows a few bubbles as the eye of Kara's leader open gazes over him. This is when the Kara reveals their full appearances, starting with Jigen(who lets down his hood), followed by Delta(who puts a finger under her chin), Boro(who glares under his hood), Amado(who adjusts his glasses), Code(who stretches out an arm), Oga(who smiles nonchalantly), Deepa(who grins evilly), Victor(who frowns with cane in hand), Zorvus(who smirks while looking ahead) and Koji(who smirks with arms crossed over chest). It next shows all members assembled in an alley, with Jigen taking the lead on a stair, with a hand on the side of his head.
As the song heats up, we cut to the destroyed ruins of Japan, showing the entirety of Class 1-A dashing at high speed to engage the members of Kara, splitting up into different fights: Boro fighting off Tenya, Shikadai, and Fumikage before delivering a punch to the dark shadow, a kick to Fumikage, another to Shikadai, and an uppercut to Tenya's chin, knocking his helmet and glasses off. Delta taking on the 1-A girls, mainly 5: She swiftly smacks Momo via electric whip, side-steps a purple aura fist from Sumire and elbows here on the side, then grabs Tsuyu by her frog tongue(the latter tried to restrain the android but failed) and violently throws her into Ochaco(who tried to use her quirk to get a touch in but failed), and then Sarada jumps to try to get a strike in, but ends up repelled by the electric whip and punched in the face, knocking her glasses off. We then switch to Code doing a flip-kick to knock the hardened Eijiro to the ground, dodging snake-strikes from Mitsuki and palms him in the gut before dodging an Ice wave from Shoto, including his fire, before closing the distance and punches him in the chest that sends him flying, he then dodged an explosion from Katsuki, who proceeds to take him on. It next shows Koji engaging in close combat with Boruto, who manages to keep up and avoid his inflamed fists before jumping out the away as Izuku lunges at Koji with a smash, who avoids it at the last minute.
When the smoke clears, the two boys look around and are shocked to see their classmates defeated and unconscious around the battlefield. This causes Izuku to widen/grit his teeth in anger with surging red lines through his body while Boruto yells out in a fit of rage, activating his Karma throughout the right side of his body.
Next shows them fighting the 4 Kara inners, attacking nonstop. A combined attack is launched by Koji and Delta, and as it was about to land, Kawaki jumps into the fray and absorbs the attack, grimacing and revealing his own Karma seal. Surprised by this entry, Katsuki also joins the three, with them having no intention of giving up even while battered.
With the four of them united, they combat against the 4 inners. During this, Kawaki uses a red blast from his Karma, Bakugo uses his gauntlets to form a blast in the same manner respectively, Izuku throws his right fist forward, creating a massive shockwave that's on the level of his mentor while Boruto comes in through the smoke in mid-air and uses a gigantic Rasengan as the final blow. All 4 attacks create a huge explosion in the ruins of Japan, with the large sphere being enough to reach outside of earth.
Last panels show the smoke clearing and them being the only ones left, they're exhausted from fighting and look up at the sunset as it shines down on them and a crow flows by the three, including Kawaki, their new ally, before the song closes.
Chapter 80: The Hunt for Kawaki
Starting at there current setting, "First thing to do in situtations of tracking someone down, is to go to where they were previously." Hawks explains to his intern as they walk into the Classic meat diner, still being repair by constructed workers.
"Greetings Pro hero." The manager greets them at the entrance, "What brings you around?"
"We're looking for the kid that started the fight here:" Hawks replies, "He may still be in this part of the city somewhere. Have any leads?"
"Wish I did, but the brawl had my full attention." The manager shrugs in reply.
"I think I saw him run to the left as soon as he ran out." A male waiter shares, "He ran off with that little girl too." He refers to Eri.
"A girl, huh..." Tokoyami trails.
"Well well, he ain't alone." Hawks states, nonchalantly, "Thanks for the information, much appreciated." He asss to his intern, "We'll be off." He says in a laidback and cheerful manner before they leave.
Several minutes later, Delta also arrives at the classic meat diner, walking in, "..." She gazes around at the inside construction.
"Greetings." A female waiter blows her head, "We're currently closed due to construction... but how may I help you."
"The boy that started the start here." Delta speaks, "Where is he?" She asks bluntly.
"Uh... well..." She sweats a little in mutter.
"He ran out to the left direction, according to one of my emplyees." The manager walks up, "A Pro hero and his sideout came by awhile ago and asked the same question." He adds.
"What does this 'Pro' look like?" She asks.
"He has a brown jacket and red wings, why?" The manager asks, but Delta doesn't answer and immediately leaves the repaired-in progress diner, confusing the manager and female waiter, "What was that all about?" The manager wonders with the tilted head of confusion.
Meanwhile:
The cloaked Kawaki, with Eri beside his leg, uses stealth mode to blend into the crowd, putting his hood down lower whenever there's either a Pro or a police cop that walks by him.
When reaching the train station, "The ticket out this city..." He voices, but as soon as they make it elevated door, two pros hero's stand right in front of them, "!" This surprises the teen quickly, accidentally making his hood slide upward, revealing some of his face.
One of the two random pros recognizes this and exclaims out, "Hey look!" He points, "The Kid who started the commotion last night!" This alerts the police nearby and they quickly tell the civilians to move and dash toward Kawaki and Eri.
Seeing this and deciding to quickly change plans, Kawaki pushes the two random pros back through the train door, via wooden arm, making the door shut and he quickly smacks the income cops, "GUGH!" The police yell, smacked to the ground as Kawaki carries Eri under his left arm and quickly makes a run for it.
The two pros come out from the train door and attend to the cops who've been knocked down, "Medics please!" One calls out.
"Attention! All Pros in the area!" The second one uses his communicator, "We've found the Rogue Kid with the vest and the little girl with him!"
"Ah!" "Kya!" Some of the cilivans grunt or even hit the ground as Kawaki forcefully pushes through the crowd at the station.
"Move you assholes!" Kawaki exclaims out in annoyance as he dashes by and pushes through, with Eri in his left arm, who's startled at what's going on.
"Hold it right there!"
"Not so fast!"
A fat-sized Pro and a female pro stand in his way, using their quirks (Golem/Extension) to try and restrain Kawaki, only for the teen to dodge them with easy, surprising everyone that he can evade quickly, even with a child in his grasp.
"Move it!" Kawaki smashes into the fat Pro's stomach via wooden fist.
"GURGH!" Making him grunt and flying into a wall.
"No!" The female pro tries to extend her arm to attack, only for the half-blonde to easily catch and uses this to his advantage to fling her in the air, "KYA!" She screams before behind thrown to the ground.
After dispatching both Pros easily, Kawaki wastes no time in moving forward and leaving the station, with no other choice. Along the way, he would encounter a couple more copes and pro heroes, which slows him down a little, but still having no problems in knocking them out and proceeding. The only problem he has is that is it weren't for Eri being with him, he'd blitz through those Pros in a couple seconds, so he'd have to play defense a little before taking them out.
Meanwhile, after hearing the call from a random pro about Kawaki being near the train station, "Good news there." Hawks said.
"Seems they stopped him from getting on the train to escape. That's a relief." Tokoyami notes.
"No use in searching around here now right? Let's get a move on." Hawks says with a relax smile, readying his wings and carrying his intern (by shoulders) to fly ahead.
From atop a buildings roof, "Damn it!" Delta crushes part of the tank her hand is on in anger, "I've had it! I'm so peeved, I'm about to pass out!" She exclaims, angered with viens in his head, "Now I feel like I wanna slaughter somebody, anybody!" She grits her teeth, "Damn that Koji Kashin... this aimless search wouldn't have happened we had dealt with those heroes near the border and took Kawaki right there!" She refers to Uzumaki/Midoriya's group, still pissed off, "As if I'll let that Pro hero with the red wings and his little sidekick get to the Vessel first!"
With her cloak flapped upward, a pink-triangle sized drone comes directly out of her back like a machine, having it float in the air with pink eyes on each three ends, ones that resembles her eye colors, "With this guy here, the Pro's won't be paying any attention to him." She then orders, "Go." She adds, "Tell me where Kawaki is." The Sky Drone complies before flying off into the city to spy around for the half-blonde teen.
Meanwhile, after evading the last couple pro's and hiding behind a box in an alleyway, "Tch! Manage to shake them off..." Kawaki scoffs, putting Eri down after, "I need to find someway to get on the next train, without any other damn heroes spotting me..."
"..." Eri gazes down, sadly.
He looks down at her, stating this, "Eri, I'm telling you this right now." He frowns, "I'm not keeping you with me."
"Huh...?" Eri widens in surprise.
"At this point, you're a liability and I'm not gonna get caught all because I'm protecting you." He adds, "So you're getting dropped off to the next town and I'll be on my way."
"B-But-!" Eri stammers.
"This isn't up for discussion." He interrupts, serious about this, "I'm not gonna risk getting caught, or even getting hurt cause of you."
"!" This cause the girl to recall Overhaul's words, about that dying or getting hurt all because of her... and hearing Kawaki state the same thing hurts her inside, while makes her go silent with a sad expression.
"..." Kawaki only lightens his gaze a little, still grimacing, "Let's go. There's only one more shot at getting on that train and we're not slowing down." He walks on, and Eri does follow, but keeps her head hung down in depression at earlier statement.
A few minutes later:
While airborne, Tokoyami spots the two cloaks, "Hawks, down there." He points, "There are two of them with cloaks, one medium-sized and one small."
"Hmm..." Hawks trails, gazing, "That could be our guy, along with his little companion." He adds, "We'll stay on him from way up here."
"Right." Fumikage nods as they proceed.
On the Ryutan Train:
While in their seats, "Kuh... we wasted time waiting for this train." Boruto scoffs, sitting with Izuku and Torino, "That guy could be out of Osaka city's range at this point and he's far too dangerous to run free."
"I wouldn't be so sure, Uzumaki." Torino said, "All Pro heroes and police near or in Osaka have been notified about the boy, so escaping will be far more difficult for him, no matter how fearsome he is."
"That's true... but there's still that fact that Kara and the League of Villains are after him too." Izuku adds, "So we'll have to move fast and get to him before they do."
"We will, but first, we get through this train ride to the city of Genozu, another city close to Osaka." Torino said, "Let's hope we encounter him there."
"Right." The boys agree.
Osaka:
After doing stealth mode through the crowd, Kawaki/Eri make their way into the Osaka park, where their are less civilians around, "..." Kawaki gazes around, "No sign of any Pros and cops... should be good for now."
"I wouldn't be so sure about that."
The two gaze up to see Hawks in the air (carrying Fumikage by under his shoulders).
"This is as far as you go." The bird teen adds.
"Oh great..." Kawaki scoffs, with Eri quickly hiding behind him, "More of you pro assholes to get in the way."
"Guilty as charge." Hawks chuckles sarcastically before he and his intern land, several feet away from them, "If I gotta be totally honest, it's best if you just come with us peacefully." He adds, "We have no intention of fighting or harming you, which goes for the girl you have there too." He eyes Eri as well, "So how about it?"
After looking through her drone with her eyes shut, "Found him!" She opens them and smirks, "The others Inners, even Koji, are still searching for Kawaki." She adds, "It's gonna be a pain, so it doesn't really matter at this point." She hops from building-to-building, "I could care less if even the weak heroes see this. It's an opportunity I won't miss." After doing a big leap into the air, her legs modify into rockets and takes high-speed flight through the air, launching over to the Osaka park.
"Forget it, asshole." Kawaki declines in a blunt manner at the Winged hero, "The last ones who said that end up putting me in a cell and examining me at their dumb little lab." He adds, "From here, I'm not listening to a thing you scumbag heroes have to say... cause they're just lies all the same."
Fumikage is on guard before saying to his mentor, "I can tell he's not one to be reasoned with..."
"Appears so." His mentor nods.
"So what should we do, Hawks?" He asks, which the winged hero thinks for a second until, "!" He gazes upward to see the incoming Kara Inner.
"So, this is where you were!" Delta exclaims out in a smirk before landing hard to the ground, smoke arising.
"What was that?!" Fumikage widens.
"?!" Kawaki, Hawks, and Eri too as their attention turns to the rising dust.
When it does begin to clear, "You assholes...!" Kawaki curses, recognizing the her shape, "Delta!"
After the dust clears completely, and with her arms crossed over her chest as the wind blows through her cloak, "It seems you remember how sublime my punishment is..." She grimaces darkly, "judging by the look on your face. Kawaki."
"..." Kawaki sweats a little, but is on guard.
"Who is she?" Fumikage wonders, on guard, "Is she with the league... or this Kara...?"
"No idea..." Hawks trails, dropping his relaxed mood a little, "But judging from how she landed, and how cautious he is of her, "He refers to Kawaki, "She might turn out to be a tough customer to handle." He states in honesty, readying himself in advance.
Ending 7 "Datte Atashi no Hiro" by LiSA
Opens up in the morning skies above Coruscant as it changes to shots of the training grounds, highways, and speeders flying through the air.
We then see Padawan Izuku leave his coordinates and happily running off to training, but ends up tripping/falling on his face, upon looking up, he sees fellow Padawan Boruto extending a hand to him with a grin, with Padawans Ochaco, Tenya, and Sumire being there too. Izuku smiles brightly as his blonde friend helps him up by hand.
Next shoots to Shoto in his coordinates, in a sitting position and as closes as he meditates near his opened window. After being done, he opens the door to see the MC's and his fellow padawans, which makes him crack a smile. As they walk in the hallways, they greet Sarada, who waves, and Mitsuki, who smiles casually, both Padawans as well. The group walk by the training grounds to see Katsuki cutting down a couple trees with his lightsaber in fury. When they call out in telling that it's time for training session with Jedi Master Aizawa, the hothead exclaims at them dramatically in not needing it.
This is when the sky goes dark/overcast and all Padawans look upward to see Kara Droids levitating above them, forcing the teens to get in battle positions, igniting their green Lightsabers with serious grimaces. We cut to the young Padawans taking on multiple Kara Droids: Uzumaki slicing one down by it's head and Midoriya slicing one in the middle. As it appears though they're surrounded, they receive backup from the rest of their fellow Padawans (Eijiro, Shikadai, Tsuyu, Iwabe, and everyone else in the class with their green lightsabers ignited). The MC's grin/smile with a nod before they continue the fight with increased numbers.
As the fight continues in the destroyed field, everyone starts to tire down, and another unit of Kara droids approach, the renegade Sith apprentice: Kawaki, ignites his red Lightsaber and uses force-lightning to electrocute half of them, surprising the teen Jedi's at his arrival. He grimaces at the Padawans, but decides to fight in lending a hand.
With this extra amount of strength from a new ally, the group stands united and perseveres in dealing with the rest of the Kara droids: Kawaki force-crushes two, Bakugo slashes one with a battle cry, Sarada and Mitsuki doing a combined slash, and Shoto force-pushing one into the other. With the droids dealt with, they face the last one, an enormous Kara Mega-Droid towering over them.
Despite how bruised, battered, and tired they are, the united front aren't ones to give up and the MC's charge before doing a Jedi high-jump in meeting the foe head-on. Everyone roots for the duo to finish this fight, including Bakugo(who grins) and Kawaki(who grimaces with wide eyes). Uzumaki's lightsaber changes to dark-blue while Midoriya's changes to light-blue, and with the final blow, they slash the enormous Mega-droid in half, defeating it and ending the battle.
It goes white as it was the pages read in a 1-A textbook before the song closes.
The first fight of the Pursuit mission, Delta and Hawks! How will this fight for who catches Kawaki first, go?
