When the next morning came, the guest room was the first to get the sun shining through the window. The insectoid inside turned in her sleep, her long arms and legs hanging over the bed and touching the floor.

The... floor...? And... bed...?

Wait... Something wasn't right here...

Utsushiki's eyes slowly creaked open, and she groaned as her vision adjusted to the light. She was in a... a normal room... And a normal bed...?

Oh wait... Now she remembered... She remembered everything from the day prior. Somehow, the second greatest hero in the world understood her better than anyone, and not only allowed her to stay alive, but also live with her. She... never imagined something like THAT would ever happen.

...It was a sign. She had a second chance now, and she was NOT going to squander it! She'd killed the man she wanted to, she would kill no one else.

She stretched her arms, her now healed wings fluttering and buzzing behind her, then hovered off the ground, pulling the blinds down from the window and peering outsite, lifting an arm to block the sunlight as she looked down at the city below. People were bustling about, cars honked everywhere...

A crash was heard in another room, followed by a string of loud, explicit curses that made Utsushiki blush slightly. "Oh... My new... um... friend is awake..." Was she a friend...? She felt like one...

Well, she certainly was understanding better than anyone. Being experimented on...not wanting to be the weak little damsel that gets saved...she could get that. And she was glad the Tornado did too.

Huh...she didn't even know her name. He real name, not her hero title. She would need to fix that. Ask her when she had the chance. Probably now.

Getting away from the window before anyone spotted her, Mosquito Girl approached the door and opened it, looking out to see the green haired esper sitting at the table, arms crossed, pouting and looking positively...adorable. Like a little kid who didn't get any candy and was now cutely stewing in the corner. The other woman looked at her, before blinking and realizing who she was looking at. "...Hey..." She greeted awkwardly.

"Hey..." Was Utsushiki's response..

And an awkward silence manifested in the room. One that Tatsumaki couldn't handle. "...Sleep well? Bed might be a bit small for you, I should replace that..."

"Oh, you don't have to do that, really..." Utsushiki tried to deny, but Tatsumaki shook her head.

"Nope, Nuh-uh. Noooo way I'm letting you stay uncomfortable after I trapped you in that cage for a full day." She said with a light huff. "Like... Honestly, a proper bed's the LEAST I could do. So... A two-person bed oughta be enough to cover those ridiculously gangly limbs of yours, right?"

"G-Gangly...?" Utsushiki winced slightly.

"Uh... I mean, I didn't say it was a bad thing! Anyway, off topic, maybe get some renovations done to actually fit that bed in, that room's WAY too cramped anyway..."

Utsushiki smiled softly. "I... really like how you're so different towards me... Now that we've... come to an understanding and all..."

Tatsumaki nodded. "Of course. I've... never had anyone really get me before... Not even my sister, really... Didn't expect a monster to be where I found it... But I'm not complaining, it's... not lonely, I'll say that much..."

Utsushiki tilted her head. "Lonely... I can't imagine you being lonely... Does your sister not visit often?"

Tatsumaki grimaced. "She... NEVER visits, actually. I haven't even heard from her in the past two months... Uh... it's totally just cause we're busy with hero work! Especially her, with all her... ugh... 'hunts'... Her and her stupid lesser ranked hero friends... And flattening the ones that turn her down, yeah, real solid friend structure you got there, sis, TOOOOTALLY worth neglecting your big sister for, right?"

"That uh... That does NOT seem nice. At all." Utsushiki remarked. "...Your sister sounds kinda mean, no offense."

Tatsumaki sighed. "Honestly, normally I flatten anyone who says stuff like that, but... yeah. Let the runts do their thing and stop bullying them into your little stupid clique, it's useless, they don't offer anything meaningful anyway! I don't THINK she means anything bad by it, but come ON!"

"I... understand what you meant by attacked on sight, I... don't think your sister would't immediately try to splatter me on sight..." Utsushiki sighed.

"Yep. That's why it's better you stay here until I can get things sorted out for you." Tatsumaki nodded. "Well, if you want any breakfast, I was about to make some before heading off to work. do you know how to cook? Cause you're on your own for lunch."

Utsushiki nodded. "I... did all the cooking for my friends... When I still had them... Um... I'll manage!"

Tatsumaki nodded. "I'd also appreciate if my kitchen didn't get ransacked by accident, but... well, I get it if it happens." She turned away and approached the stove. "All right, you have any cravings?"

"Um... No, this is your house, it's up to you." Utsushiki denied.

"All right then." And with that, Tatsumaki set to her cooking.

A few minutes later, she slid over a stack of pancakes and a jar of syrup.

The esper rubbed her arm. "All right, go ahead and taste it, and tell me what you think..." She muttered. Utsushiki obediently helped herself, and her face lit up immediately, because the pancakes were absolutely delicious! The genes of a mosquito greatly enhanced all her senses, and as a result, food was just that much tastier to her. If the pancakes were this good... "You're an awesome cook!" Utsushiki chirped.

Tatsumaki smirked and proudly propped her hands on her hips. "Glad someone can finally appreciate my culinary skills!" She declared.

Utsushiki giggled. "I REALLY struck a jackpot here, huh? A nice home with a cute girl who knows how to cook awesome food, is an awesome hero, and understands my pain, which is awesome." Tatsumaki blushed at the compliment.

"Cute?! I am NOT cute!" She snapped angrily. "How can you even look at me and say I'm cute?! I'm literally the second most powerful hero the world's ever seen!"

"Well, then why do you look so adorable when you float up to my face then?" Utsushiki replied. Tatsumaki's face turned even more red.

"Oh... just... just EAT!" Tatsumaki huffed as she took off her apron and telekinetically grabbed her usual black dress and zoomed out the window in mere moments without pause.

Utsushiki laughed at her embarrassment. "Wow. I really didn't expect the Tornado of Terror would be so adorably sweet, but it just goes to show how much I actually knew about heroes. ...And I was a huge fan of hers too, back when I was still human..." She paused. "...She was my favourite... ...The old me is LONG gone... but... old habits die hard..." She smiled to herself. What kind of fan didn't dream of meeting their hero, let alone living with them?

Okay, so their first meeting was on less favourable terms, and all the pain and suffering really did slightly dampen her love for the hero, but... that talk... She really did feel better about her now. She was certainly nice, albeit a little rough, she was a good cook, and WOW she was even hotter up close than she was in any of those photos.

And then... there was...

She thought back to when she had nearly broken down in fear, the the Tornado had used her powers on her... What WAS that? Why did it make her feel so warm, and pleasant...?

She wanted to do it again... She wanted to feel that... that GOOD again... But... would she be willing to do it...? Would she be okay with indulging her...?

Maybe once... Yeah... Every once in a while, she'd ask... For now, she had to wait for her to come back from work.

Work...

Could... Could she become a hero too...?

Oh... Oh, that was a strange idea... But she was interested... She always did wonder what it would be like... To fight alongside the titans that were the S-class heroes... What a thrill that would be! Maybe they would let her in...? If she proved herself, then surely...

And hey... She had the number two vouching for her. HAD to be some potential there.

Nodding, she decided. She would ask her new friend about both of these things when she returned from work. But for now, she had to figure out what she was going to do. Flying to the couch, she turned on the TV to see what she could the news...

And also because she hadn't watched TV in almost two months.

She immediately stumbled upon a news channel, one currently recording a monster attack in City Z. Some sort of gigantic blob monster from the looks of it. The reporter was speaking excitedly as the camera zoomed in on something flying through the air, and Utsushiki could easily make out the green hair and a black dress. Hell yeah, she was about to see her hero in action! She flew towards the monster, slamming straight into it-

And then, a loud BOOM sounded out from the far distance, the apartment reverberating from the impact. Utsushiki blinked, turning back to the TV to see the monster had been splattered against most of the city, now likely dead. She guessed with that kind of impact happening on the daily, she could get the 'Terror' part of her name. She watched as Tatsumaki collected all the splattered, messy remnants of the monster, all held together by that wonderful, warm, green glow... and then it was crushed into nothingness. Erased. She watched as another camera panned to her flying down to acknowledge the civillians below, her dress flapping about majestically in the wind, showing off her generous amount of leg.

"...Yep. She's hotter up close and in person." Utsushiki declared.

Far away, with Tatsumaki, the psychic stared down at the people below her as they cheered and asked for autographs and interviews. And just like always, she ignored them, refusing to even entertain such frivolities. They were just a bunch of rabid fans who would likely throw her away as soon as she became even just a smidge less popular. She'd let some filming to appear on TV and that would be it. Nothing more.

TV...

She blinked and realized Utsushiki would likely be watching the TV too. Possibly the same program she was being shown on. Blushing a bit, she flew upward so she wouldn't get spotted with a red face. Shaking her head, she quietly wondered why that mattered. So what if she saw her on TV? What did that matter? Everyone saw her on TV. Why was she any different? What was so special about her seeing her on TV?

Then she realized. The angle those cameras were filming her from...

Tatsumaki's face became even more red than before, and she blasted off into the distance with a small sonic boom, far too embarrassed to be around any of those people below. The cameras just filmed under her dress! Who knew what kind of stuff they just caught?! There were children who could be watching TV at that moment! She couldn't be caught showing something inappropriate like that in front of impressionable eyes! Worse, Utsushiki might see her too!

...Wait, why was that last part important?

"AGH, WHAT AM I THINKING?!" She screamed in frustration. She took a few breaths. "Screw it. I'm gonna go hang around the association a bit... Maybe I can make fun of the rookies struggling miserably to get a position. Yeah...yeah, that would be cool... Watching helpless noobs try their best would make me feel better..." She flew off towards the association. '...Ugh... Why am I so worried about what SHE thinks?! I literally just met her! Why would her getting a peek suddenly be important?!' Sure, it was embarrassing, but it'd normally just have her feeling embarrassed and angry. Here she was, just...embarrassed and that's all. No anger. No indignation. She just felt flustered without actually being angry. That didn't make sense!

And what was even more weird? No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't seem to find herself angry even in a scenario where she directly and personally saw Utsushiki seeing her like that. Embarrassed? Yes. Flustered? Definitely? Angry?...No feasible way. But why!? Sure, the poor woman wouldn't think of anything unsavory seeing her like that, but she'd still be seeing her regardless! It would be humiliating! Undignified! Her guest would see her publicly showing herself off and she'd think of her like...like...

Why did she suddenly care what she would think after seeing her? She said she wouldn't think of anything unsavory, right...?

Back at the apartment, Utsushiki had only one sentence to say.

"I wanna tap those thighs."

Back with Tatsumaki, the esper nodded. Indeed. Nothing unsavoury or undignified. Just like she didn't think anything of her well built body, her shiny wings, her cute little mosquito head on her human one, her absolutely gorgeous curves...

...

'Oh what the hell?! What are you doing?! That's no way to think about a guest!' She slapped herself to force the inappropriate thoughts away. She couldn't be having thoughts like that when they'd already been hurt! Especially not someone currently living in her home!

Arriving at the association, she slid in through the window, paying no mind to the security measures, and landed in the hallway. Heading forward, she eventually arrived at the observatory overlooking the training grounds for the rookie hero wannabes. One of the judges began stammering like an idiot, and they all immediately got up and started grovelling like a bunch of lame, wimpy sheep at her presence. Tatsumaki simply used her powers to move one of them aside so she could sit in his chair. She let out a huff and snapped her fingers. "Someone get me something to eat, I'm starving here!" She demanded. One of the judges bowed and spent way too long complimenting and kissing her ass before going to actually do as she had requested.

The last judge gulped. "M-Miss Tornado, might I ask... why you're here...?"

Tatsumaki rolled her eyes. "Isn't it obvious? I wanna watch the wannabe nobodies compete, just for the hell of it."

"...I've heard she was sadistic, but not to this extent..." The judge muttered under his breath.

"I'm sorry, did you say something just now?" Tatsumaki demanded, eyes narrowed. The judge tensed up, and attempted to apologize... She used her powers to give him a rough shove into the other room, where he ended up bumping into the tray of snacks the previous judge had been carrying, spilling everything all over the floor. "And what the hell's going on with those snacks?!" The two judges exchanged worried looks before rushing off to gather more. The green haired woman sighed, leaning her cheek on her hand as she sat and waited for the event to start. She'd MUCH rather be with Utsushiki at home than here...

...

"Okay, this is getting ridiculous."

"What's ridiculous?" One of the judge asked.

"Nothing!" Tatsumaki said defensively. "Why would you assume something's ridiculous?! You trying to butt into my personal life?! What are you?! A stalker? A paparazzi? A fan? A spy? What would you get from knowing every detail about her personal life?! You wanna know what I eat too?! What I do for a hobby?! What I read?! What I watch on TV?!" When she snapped out of her flustered state, she saw that the judge was now out cold, foaming at the mouth while being crushed by her psychic powers. Her eye twitched, and she clicked her tongue. "FORGET IT!" She yelled before sitting back in the chair.

The judge from before returned, carrying snacks for her in a hurry. He placed the tray in front of her and she snatched it immediately, stuffing her face with candy. "Idiots... Butting into my life... Don't need to know what pretty girls I have in my house..." The judge blinked and opened his mouth, but one glare from Tatsumaki told him to ask would be to invite hell upon his entire existence, which instantly shut the poor man up. The competition began.

"Um... Miss Tornado...? You'll... have to take over as judge, all the rest are... indisposed of..."

"Yeah yeah yeah..." Tatsumaki waved him off as she kept eating, looking at the current competition of a race. The winner passed over the line...and immediately a loud buzzer with a 0 appearing on the screen signified that he failed. Courtesy of Tatsumaki glaring down at everyone with a candy cane in her teeth.

Next came weightlifting. One contestant managed to lift over 200 pounds with one arm.

Loud buzzer and a fail, Tatsumaki chewing on a cookie.

Vertical jumping. A contestant got all the way to a 6 meter jump thanks to super strength.

Loud buzzer and a fail, Tatsumaki eating from a bag of potato chips.

Punching machine. A decent dent was made on it.

Loud buzzer and a fail, Tatsumaki slurping on a soda.

Sideways jumping. Over 45 in under a minute.

Loud buzzer and a fail, Tatsumaki casually popping a bubble of bubblegum.

Whack-a-mole. Everyone expected a buzzer...but nothing came. Tatsumaki slurped on some noodles, not failing them because that one was pretty fun to watch, so she'd give a pass.

The contest soon ended...and everyone failed, walking out of the training room with dejected looks, upset they'd have to do it again at a later date. Tatsumaki chewed on a chocolate bar as she stared off through the window at nothing in particular. "...Did you have to fail EVERYONE?" The judge asked.

"Mind your own business, loser." Tatsumaki huffed. The judge tried to argue, but Tatsumaki swallowed the chocolate and floated out of the chair. "Anyways, I'm out. This is lame." She walked out of the room, before approaching the same window she flew in through and zoomed right through it and outside, back in the fresh air again.

She took off towards the mountains off in the distance. She flipped herself into a reclining position, then sighed softly and gazed up at the sky. As she idly looked up, she began to think. Why DID she fail those people...? They did do genuinely well. Several high scores were made in all disciplines, worthy of at least B class hero title. So...why? Why did she not at all care about doing what she did? They were genuinely putting in effort to show that they were worthy, but all she could see when looking at them was...a chore. Like she'd rather be doing something else...so she failed them to just get through it as fast as she could.

But what could she want to do? Fight more monsters? Other S class heroes could solve that. Save people? Again, for other heroes to solve. And she was NOT wasting time on mundane crap like saving a cat from a tree or helping an old lady cross...okay, she could do that, old people deserved the assistance, but...everything else would just be taken care of by every one of her colleagues. So...that only left going home and being with...with...

WHY WAS IT HER AGAIN!?

Tatsumaki grabbed at her head and let out a LOUD scream. One that echoed through the mountains she was close to. So much so that the mountains shook and cracked, one's peak even crumbling into rubble that soon rolled down...and caused an avalanche...Tatsumaki winced. "I... really hope there was nobody down there... I REALLY don't feel like making collateral today..." She did a quick look-around to ensure no one was harmed by thecrumbling mountain, then zoomed off before she was spotted. As she flew, she let out a sigh. "Why is she still on my mind...? Eh, screw it, I'll go and hang with her today... One day off can't hurt, right?"

It took just a few minutes to reach her house. She slid a window open and slipped in, looking at the clock. 11:36 a.m. Had the exams really taken that long? She was snapped out of her thoughts by a smell. A very tasty smell. Was something being cooked? She peeked into the kitchen, spotting her guest, frying what looked like...mushroom sticks? Indeed, kebabs of meat and mushrooms were sizzling in a pan manned by the mosquito woman...

Wearing a really small and form fitting apron.

Tatsumaki blinked, then forced her eyes over to the skewers, focusing on their glistening forms, their round-NO! 'Ugh... My eyes hurt...' She groaned internally. With a sigh, she lifted her hand and knocked on the wall lightly. The noise caused Utsushiki to perk up and turn to see the Tornado of Terror floating in the doorway.

"Hi, welcome back!" She greeted cheerfully before tilting her head in confusion. "Uh... Why are you covering your eyes?"

"No reason. ...Fought a monster... Flashed my eyes with some bright light. That's it." Tatsumaki replied.

"Oh no, are you okay?" Utsushiki asked in concern, hovering over her with her wings as she looked her over. "Need some time to rest? Getting blinded like that could be dangerous to your vision y'know."

"Stop, I'm fine, I don't need rest, don't treat me like I'm some kind of little kid!" Tatsumaki complained. "Now YOU should get back to cooking or whatever you're making is gonna burn to a crisp."

Utsushiki looked ready to argue, but relented. "Fine, if you're sure, I'll leave you alone..." She muttered, going to tend to the food. Tatsumaki, taking care not to open her eyes and get an eyeful of something she'd enjoy, felt around and picked out a chair to sit on. Still keeping up the act, she massaged her temples, though in truth it was to calm her thoughts and get anything dirty out of her head. 'Stop it, she's your guest, you can't do that! You almost TORTURED her, you don't get to find her hot!'

After several minutes, Tatsumaki sighed intenally. 'What am I even freaking out about?! She wasn't wearing anything at all when I brought her in! She... goes around... naked all the time...'

At that, no amount of managing could fix the short circuit Tatsumaki's brain had suffered. Her eyes shot wide open, pupils narrow like pinpricks, and her mind SLOOOOOOOOOWLY caught up to what she just realized. Meanwhile, Utsushiki was finished with the kebabs, neatly arranging them on two plates and turning to Tatsumaki. "All right, what do you want with your kebab?" Tatsumaki...said nothing. Her eyes were now wide and she was just staring at the table with her hands on her head. "Uh... What's going on?" She asked, approaching her and waving a hand in front of her face. No response. Her face turned worried. "What's wrong?!" She asked, shaking her by the shoulder. Immediately however, she found herself seized in Tatsumaki's grip, the emperor staring right into her eyes.

"YOU DON'T WEAR CLOTHES!"

Blinking, Utsushiki could only weakly ask "Huh?"

"YOU HAVE NO CLOTHES, YOU'VE BEEN GOING AROUND NAKED, PEOPLE STARE AT YOU, YOU'LL GET COLD OR A FEVER OR WHATEVER, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO WHEN IT'S COLD?! AREN'T YOU EMBARRASSED WALKING AROUND NAKED?!"

Utsushiki blinked owlishly, then snickered into her hand. "In order: Clothes literally don't fit me anymore, people are gonna stare at me regardless just for being half blood sucking parasite, the doctor told me that I'd be naturally resistant to cold temperatures, and no, I'm not embarrassed at all, because my exoskeleton's covering the parts I want to keep hidden."

Tatsumaki stared at her. "...You're one of those weird nudist people, aren't you?!" She demanded, pointing a finger in accusation.

"What?! No!" Utsushiki exclaimed.

"Yes you are! That's why you're making a big fuss about clothes!"

"Who's making a fuss? You're the one all flustered and shouty and stuff!"

"Don't spin this around on me, you're the one that's butt naked!"

Both women continued exchanging words like this for several minutes before finally calming down and looking each other in the eyes. Then, Utsushiki began to laugh into her hand. Tatsumaki stared for a moment, then crossed her arms over her chest, her cheeks puffing out slightly in a pout. "Fine, don't wear clothes, I don't care! I don't! I really don't!" Tatsumaki insisted.

"I think I'll take you up on that." Utsushiki said with a wink. "Now what do you want with your kebab?"

Tatsumaki pouted and looks away. "Just sprinkle some chilli powder on..." Utsushiki raised a brow. "What? I like spicy food, sue me!" Shrugging, Utsushiki did just that, putting some chilli powder on the food before bringing both of their plates to the table. Tatsumaki observed the food, before taking one of the kebabs and taking a bite out of it. And immediately the taste was palpable. The spiciness was JUST the right amount of strong. The meat was soft and spongey, the mushrooms were dripping with juices that washed over her taste buds, and it all slid off the stick without anything getting stuck.

"WOW you're a good cook..." Tatsumaki remarked.

"Yeah, well, I WAS the designated cook back when I still had friends..." Utsushiki shrugged.

"Hmph. Sounds like they were pretty lousy friends if they just threw you away because some jackass threw around middle school-ass rumours." Tatsumaki snorted. "Sure as hell didn't deserve cooking like this."

Utsushiki blinked, then laughed softly into her hand. "Strong language."

"Ah, lay off me." Tatsumaki rolled her eyes. "I'm a grown-ass woman, I can say all the bad words I damn well please."

"All right, fair enough." Utsushiki giggled again before taking a seat and starting on her own portion. After a while, both sides were fed and satiated, and Tatsumaki let out a soft sigh in content.

"Beats the hell out of cupped ramen noodles..."

"Glad you liked it!" Utsushiki chirped. "...I might need to make my meat a little bloodier next time though, the way I am now, I think I kinda need at least a little bit of blood..."

"Feels like we should... do something about that, definitely don't want you killing people and drinking their blood." Tatsumaki remarked.

"Oh right, I wanted to ask you something. Uh... Can you come with me to the living room for a minute?" Raising a brow, Tatsumaki shrugged and followed the insectoid woman over to her living room. Utsushiki fluttered onto the couch and patted the spot next to her, inviting the esper to join. Tatsumaki took her up on it and floated into place. A moment of silence before Utsushiki spoke again. "So... Yesterday... in the cage, when I was scared and panicking, you did... something with your powers that calmed me down, and... it made me feel... strange..."

Tatsumaki blinked as the moment came back to her. Her face turned slightly pink, and she nodded. "Yeah, it... was a bit weird for me too..." She admitted. "Um... Why?"

Utsushiki looked away rather shyly, her own face blushing ever so slightly. "Can... Can you do it again...?" She asked timidly. "Whatever it was...?"

"Oh, uh... I mean, I only really raised up your body temperature to warm you up, I don't see what's so special about it..." Tatsumaki muttered.

"Well, I'm half insect now..." Utsushiki reminded her. "I may be able to handle the cold thanks to the doctor's enhancements, but... it does make warmth feel really, REALLY nice..."

"You're cold blooded, but you don't feel cold. Yet you're still chasing after warmth. Wow, this whole thing is confusing..." Tatsumaki muttered. Then she thought back to the way she'd behaved when she'd performed her trick. Moaning. Squirming. Blushing. It had been... quite embarrassing to watch, and not for the mosquito girl either.

Utsushiki seemed to catch on. "I-I'm not asking for anything TOO intense... Just... a little boost in temperature, you don't have to overdo it..."

Tatsumaki considered it, then sighed and pouted slightly. "Fine. But not now. Later. Like... tonight or something."

"Okay, sounds good!" Utsushiki agreed, the two women shaking hands on it.

"So... do you usually come home from work this early?" Utsushiki asked.

Tatsumaki slumped. "No, I just... don't really feel like working right now."

"Really? Why not? Are you sick?" Utsushiki asked.

"No, I'm fine, just... a bit out of practice, kinda dulled... I don't feel the same way when I'm working... It usually feels fun, even if I'm just sort of flying around, but suddenly it's just kinda tedious and lonely. I dunno. I'd rather be here hanging out with you."

Utsushiki blinked as she registered what she'd just said, then giggled a little. "Aww, that's sweet. It IS a bit lonely here, and... the fact that I can't go out and talk to people sucks. I'm happy to hang out whenever you're feeling bored, cause... yeah, I trapped myself in a pretty boring life. But... will your work suffer...?"

Tatsumaki scoffed. "Hero work is just kill monsters and help the losers when their cat gets stuck up a tree or whatever, way too easy. I'm the number two, those things aren't hard at all, it gets so old and boring sweeping through all the problems in town in under an hour, it's nice to have a change for once. Some company is... surprisingly nice, I can kinda see where my sister's coming from now..."

Utsushiki smiled warmly, then hugged the small esper close. "Aww, you're so cute when you're not being all mean and scary!" She cooed.

Tatsumaki's eyes widened, her face turned red and she began to sputter in indignation. "I-I am... I'm not-I- Y'know what?! I can be cute whenever I feel like it, I just don't feel like it most of the time, so... shut up, you're dumb!"

Utsushiki smiled and kept hugging her. "You're ADORABLE!" Tatsumaki continued to blush at the compliments, as well as the VERY close contact.

She gently pushed at the mosquito girl. "Get off of me!"

"Aww, but I don't wanna let go, you're so cuddly." Utsushiki teased.

"Hmph..." Tatsumaki let out a soft huff, but didn't do anything otherwise. She simply opted to stay still and let it happen. It didn't feel... bad, she supposed. But she wasn't gonna let Utsushiki know that! And so she did her best to continue looking annoyed and unhappy about it.

And the whole time, Utsushiki couldn't help but smile in amusement at the pouty little esper in her arms, looking like a grumpy kitty that secretly liked to be held but outwardly pretended to hate it. She watched at the girl in her arms crossed her own as her cheek puffed up in a pout that looked irresistibly adorable. Gaining a cheeky grin, Utsushiki lifted her hand and gently poked Tatsumaki's puffed up cheek. Tatsumaki's eye twitched. "What do you think you're doing?!"

Utsushiki idly looked away. "I don't know what you're talking about." She replied... while still poking the smaller woman's face.

"Stop it."

"No."

"Stop it."

"Nnnnno!"

"Stop! It!"

Utsushiki just stuck her tongue out and poked again.

"That's it, stopping it myself."

...And she did nothing. She made no move to stop it. At all. Utsushiki waited...but no. Nothing happened.

Utsushiki blinked. "Um... Are you... gonna... do anything...?"

Tatsumaki remained silent, keeping her arms crossed and pouting a little. "Ah, forget it, I don't care, not one bit, nope!"

Utsushiki shrugged, then continued to poke at her face. Occasionally, she would switch over to using her claw to gently comb through Tatsumaki's green hair, gently petting and stroking her. Tatsumaki reacted by... closing her eyes and breathing through her nose, trying to restrain the little hums of satisfaction she desired to let out. Eventually, the small esper uncrossed her arms and relaxed, allowing her new friend to comfortably play with her head and treat her like a spoiled little cat. It was... nice... receiving this kind of affectionate gesture...

Utsushiki felt relaxed herself. Her hairs bristled, then became... fluffier from the comfort she felt. Her wings were flapping behind her, carrying her towards the couch until she took a seat, her hand still resting on Tatsumaki's head. The mosquito girl let out a soft yawn. "Ah... I'm a bit tuckered out... I could use a... ah..." The mosquito girl closed her eyes and drifted off into a light slumber.

Tatsumaki opened one eye, seeming annoyed that the affection had stopped, before noticing her guest had fallen asleep. Utsushiki eventually relaxes too, the actions of petting and playing with Tatsumaki's face and hair slowly causing her mind to relax significantly. Her hairs all bristle and become more fluffy from sheer comfort, and her wings almost don't exist. Her eyes flutter, until her hand rests on Tatsumaki's head, with the Mosquito girl lightly falling asleep. Tatsumaki opens one eye, humming in confusion, before turning to look at her guest who has fallen asleep. She smirked and rolled her eyes. "Napping in the middle of the day? Heh... What a baby... Ugh..." Tatsumaki wasn't one to talk. Normally, Utsushiki's hairs were so unnoticeably that it felt like touching bare skin, but when she was happy, they seemed to become more prominent. And very, very fluffy and cuddly...She couldn't help it... She snuggled into the soft hairs, allowing herself a little nap as well.
