Bad Deal
After obtaining the sixth Cosmos Stone, the Space Pirate and their Spectral armored dinosaur burst out of the wall.
"It's the Space Pirates!" Max gasped before checking his Dino Bracer. "I have the ship's signal. Let's just hope it's not too late!"
Before their Spectral armored dinosaur attacked them, the group was teleported back in the Backland just in time and blasted off to the time warp.
"Is everyone all right?" Jonathan asked.
"We are now, thanks to you, Jonathan." Max said as the Alpha Gang sighed.
"Yeah, thanks for almost giving me a heart attack!" Ursula sighed.
"Don't blame Jonathan, it wasn't his fault." Max said, "My Dino Bracer wouldn't pick up the ship's sig…"
When he pounds his Dino Bracer, the small luminescent moss drops out from it.
"Yeah, 'cause it was filled with muck." Rex said.
"I guess that would explain that really bad smell, too." He said as the others shakes the gunk off from it.

Traveling in the time warp, the Space Pirates returned to their ship after failing to acquire the sixth Cosmos Stone.
"Thanks to you clods, those pesky little kids and their metal friend got the green Cosmos Stone instead of us!" Shear exclaimed.
"I beg to differ." Foolscap said, "It was a collective effort."
"That's right and it's like they say, 'You get an A for effort' so I doubt Spectre will be too mad at us!" Gabbro said.
"You get an A?" Shear said.
"That'll be the day." Foolscap said.
They then heard Spectre's singing.
"~The stars are looking fine today."
"The planets are all winking my way,
but you still all will dearly pay.
If you didn't find me another Cosmos Stone to display!~"
The holoscreen of him and Brontikens appeared as he hummed.
"Catchy tune, don't you think?" He said. "I wrote it myself, including the lyrics. So…"
"So we, uh, did find it." Shear said, stammered.
"You made my day! Not that there are really days in space, but still!"
"Of course, finding it was the easy part. It was hanging onto it that proved a bit tougher." Foolscap explained before chuckled, nervously.
"So you're saying that you failed me?" He frowned, making them whimpered.
"Well, yeah, I guess." Gabbro explained, frantically. "But we did try really hard and you know what they say, 'A for effort', Am I right, huh?"
"A, B, maybe even a C, but the point is we really try our hardest, Spectre." Shear said, sweated nervously.
"At least, I did, so if you happen to be grading on a curve, then I should probably get the highest marks." Foolscap chuckled, nervously.
Spectre growled before snapped. "If I were to grade any of you nincompoops, you all would've flunked out!"
"We'll make it up to you, Spectre, promise!" Shear said, "We'll get back the two Cosmos Stones those kids took."
Spectre looked at them, disappointed before leaning back in his chair.
"Yes you will, in addition to the one that remains."
"Huh?" They said.
"The black Cosmos Stone is still unaccounted for and it cannot be allowed to fall into the hands of those children." Spectre said, "You must find it, do you understand?!"
"Of course, Spectre, you can count on us!" Shear said.
"But that's just it, I can't! time and time again, you three have failed me. Well, failure is not an option this time."
"Huh?" They said.
He chuckled. "The moment has finally come for me to unleash my secret weapon."
Meanwhile in the Taylor's house, Spike was looking outside their house after their attempt to escape failed.
"Things are quiet out there, too quiet if you ask me." He said.
"The word is that Spectre is in a terribly foul mood." Aki said.
"I would be too if I were him." Dr. Cretacia said. "After all, he has to listen to himself sing all the time!"
"Hmm…" Dr. Ancient hummed. "More likely, it's because he hasn't found any new Cosmos Stones with the detector we built for him."
"Got that right!" She smirked and pulls out the computer chip. "And he won't so long as we have this chip!"
"If Spectre hasn't snatched any new Stones, maybe Max and the others have." Dr. Taylor wondered.
"I sure hope so." Aki said. "After all, the entire universe is at stake."
"We have to believe." Mrs. Drake said. "I just wish there was something we all could do to help the children out."
"Me too." Dr. Drake nodded.
"Then let's quit lying around here and do something!" Dr. Cretacia said, "Come on, let's use our heads, everyone. Isn't there some way we could hack into Spectre's communications hub and then get in contact with Terran and children?" He looked at her husband. "Well, honey?"
"It's worth a try!" Dr. Ancient said.
"Then that's the plan." Spike said. "Let's get started!"
"Yeah!" They said.
Dr. Taylor then looked outside and sees Seth on the balcony.
"And let's hope Seth doesn't get in the way." He muttered as Seth leaves. "But knowing him, he will. All the more reason for us to hurry!"
Back at the Backland, the group went to the lab and gives the sixth Cosmos Stone to Dr. Z for research.
"So now I have the red Cosmos Stone and green?! Excellent!" Dr. Z beamed.
"I think you mean 'we' right, doctor?" Zoe corrected.
"Yeah, I mean, we were the one's that found them after all." Rex said before Dr. Z walks away with the green Cosmos Stone.
"Finding them is one thing, figuring out how they work is something else." He puts the green Stone in the machine with the red Stone.
"So then you've found out how the red one works?" Max asked.
"Ah… no. There is an unimaginable amount of energy sealed into these Cosmos Stones. It will take time to figure how it functions." Dr. Z explained before thinking. 'And to figure out how I can harness it all and become the Dinosaur King!'
"Well, we believe in you, doctor." Ursula said, "After all, you've never let us down!"
"Yep, that's right." Zander said. "Not even way back when we were little kids!"
"You always came through when it counted, dad- I mean doc." Ed said.
"Say what? What are you three going on about?!" Dr. Z questioned, puzzled.
"Oh, well, back on Paris, it kind of came out how you adopted us all back when we were orphans." Ursula said, remember the time Dr. Z adopted them and Rod and Laura's dad.
"And how you're really just a big softy at heart." Ed smiled.
"And how you used to let us climb up and down your beard like a big tire swing." Zander said.
"Quiet! None of that is true!" Dr. Z protested, never wanted to admitted that he cares for them. "Lies, I tell you! All lies!"
He then kicked the trio away before walking back to the machine.
"Now, back to my research."
The group headed back to the bridge as the Alpha Gang aches after Dr. Z kicks them.
"The Doc sure kicks hard for an old softy." Ursula groaned while Zander massage her back.
"So now that we have the red and green Cosmos Stones, what's the plan?" Rex said.
"Well, I figure the Space Pirates must be pretty desperate to get them back." Max said, "So I'd say we have ourselves a good chance at trading them in exchange them for our parents!"
"A really good chance since we have two Stones to barter with." Zoe said.
"Right, and with one Cosmos Stone still up for grabs, even with our two stones, the Space Pirates will still need to find the last stone to carry out their evil plans!" Rex said. "So what do you say, Max? Should we try and make the trade?"
"Without of doubt!" Max said, "And then we find that last Cosmos Stone before the Space Pirates do and save the universe!"
"Sounds good!" Zoe agreed.
"Agreed." Terran nodded.
"Yeah, I just hope it works, because let's face it, there aren't going to be any chance or do-overs this time around!" Rex said.
They nodded in agreement.
"Guess now we just have to hope the Pirates agree to the trade." Zoe hoped.
"Right, but only if it includes all of our parents." Rex said.
"Oh, it'll be for all of them, all right!" Max said. "Otherwise, no deal!"
"Right!" They said.
"Wait a sec, did I hear right?" Ursula asked. "Don't tell me you're planning to trade away the Cosmos Stones we that we all risk our lives for!"
"Unless it's for some good grub!" Ed said.
"You heard right, but it's not for grub!" Max said. "It's for our parents!"
"Huh?"
"Jonathan, initiate a comm link with with the Space Pirates." Rex instructed before checking his TPS. "I know we can't lock onto their exact location, but with this TPS tracking our parents, we should be able to secure a transmission."
"I'll make it so!" Jonathan nodded.
At the Space Pirate's ship, they received a transmission signal from the Backland which surprises them.
"The children gave contacted us?" Spectre said, surprised. "Why?
"I'm not sure." Shear reported. "All they said was that they wanted to make some kind of deal."
He chuckled. "Excellent, you know what to do, Shear."
On the other end, The group managed to contact them as Gabbro answered their call.
"Our boss, Spectre, has agreed to hear what you have to say." He said, "I'm patching him through now."
When Gabbro patches the communication to Spectre, they only see Brontikens chewing the camera.
"Huh?!" Max gasped. "That's your boss?!"
"He really needs to work on his oral hygiene." Zoe said, winced.
"Back away from the camera, Brontikens." They heard him as his pet moves away for him to face them. "Now then, I am Spectre and you must be.. Whoa!" He then noticed their appearance. "What are you guys, like two years old or something? Shouldn't you be at school?"
The kids winced at his comments.
"Ugh, I already don't like this guy." Zoe cringed.
"You've got to be kidding me. I knew you were children but you three are practically still in diapers!" He mused. "And you're the ones who've been giving me all this trouble?! That's a good one."
"You got that right!" Max spat. "Guess that just goes to show you how lame your little Space Pirate henchmen really are!"
"Hey, I'm not gonna fight you on that point." He said.
"Now then, let's get down to business." Spectre said, "I heard you wanted to make some kind of deal?"
"Yes, we have what you want and you have what we wanted the most." Terran said.
"Yeah, we want our parents back!" Max said.
"Ah, let me guess: you're willing to trade for them." He said, "Well, I think you know what I want. Full dental coverage for my sweet Brontikens. It might help with his bad breath."
He smiled, making them groaned.
"Brontikens?" Terran repeated.
"Yes, he's my sweet and special one."
"Look, Spectre, are you gonna be serious about this or what?" Max said.
"What?! So no dental coverage?" He cried before biting his handkerchief. "Oh, he'll be so crushed!"
"Cut the charades, we want to know what you really want!" Rex demanded while Zoe turned her back from him. "The two Cosmos Stones we have."
"Fine." He said, stopped sobbing and chuckled. "For the red and the green stones, I'll return your parents. Plus, one of you flosses my Brontikens."
Terran and the boys looked at each other as the disagree about it before looking at Terran.
"Great! He prefers mint flavored."
"Ugh! Seriously? Fat chance, Spectre!" Terran said, making him fumed as he bit his handkerchief. "You ever thought about rinsing with mouth wash or something."
As he fumed, he receives the signal from his henchmen as they were able to pinpoint their location.
"Hmm…" He hummed. "All right, I have your offer, let me chew on it for a while. That is, after I finish chewing up the rest of my cape."
"Chew on it? how long?" Zoe questioned.
"It usually depends on how hungry I am but I'd say at least a couple minutes."
"Do you want the Cosmos Stones or not, because that offer do not last and will expire soon." Terran said.
"Oh yes, that offer!" He said as he was stalling. "Well, I'll have to weigh all the pro and cons, the pluses and minuses. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure I have a scale to weigh everything on, so I'll need to buy one of those…"
Terran and the kids was growing weary with him.
"Unless you have one I can borrow? No, why would you, you're all so fit!"
"Is it just me or is he stalling?" Zoe said, getting a suspicious feeling.
"Yeah, it seems that way." Max glowered. "But I'm sure why… Maybe he's really mulling it over or maybe-"
"Or maybe I'm having my Space Pirates zero in on your transmission so I can find your coordinates!"
As he said that, they felt that their ship was hit.
"Something just hit us!" Ursula exclaimed.
"Yeah, and it hit us hard!" Zander said.
"Laser fire!" Jonathan alerted them. "It seems that we're under attack!"
"I bet I know from whom!" Max said.
"So I've chewed on it.." Spectre said. "And I'm afraid my answer to your request is no. Now hand over the two Cosmos Stones you have or I'll blow you out of the sky!"
"Consider our offer withdrawn then!" Terran said, ending the transmission as the Space Pirate's ship fires at their ship.
"Jonathan, Quick! Return fire!" Max said.
"He can't!" Ursula said, "The Backland is not equipped to wage battle!"
"What?!" Zoe panicked.
"She's right!" Terran said, "The Backland was design only to travel through time!"
"Well, can we at least try to outrun them?" Rex said.
"It's worth a try." He then turns to Jonathan. "Jonathan!"
"I'll attempt to, hold on!" He said, steering the ship away from firing range and vanish in the time warp.
Their ship arrived in the time period and crash landed in the forest.
"Guess that's one way to outrun someone." Max said.
"Is everyone okay?" Rex asked.
Ursula groaned. "That depends. Are they gone?"
"Jonathan, did we lose them?" Max asked.
"Yes, Max, I believe so." Jonathan said.
"Wonder where we are." He said as they noticed the forest they're in.
"According to the ship's time instruments, We just landed in the Jurassic Period." Jonathan informed.
Terran and the kids then left the ship to take a scenery.
"Hey, check it out, you guys!" Max said, pointing at something. "It's a group of Yangchuanosauruses!"
They see the group of wild Yangchuanosaurus migrating up the hill.
"Ooh, and her, look there!" Rex said, pointing at something. "A Shunosaurus and Tuojiangosaurus!"
They see the wild Shunosaurus and a few wild Tuojiangosaurus.
"And over there is a Saurophaganax!" Zoe said, pointing at the wild Saurophaganax.
"Yep, this is the Jurassic Period all right!" Max said.
"Yeah, but it would be a lot easier to enjoy if we had our parents here with us." Rex said. "Guess Spectre was never going to make that trade from the start."
"I know." He sighed.
"We were nuts to think that we could trust him in the first place." Zoe said.
"Guess that he wanted to find that last Cosmos Stone and then he'll come after the rest of them that we have." Terran said.
On top of the ship, the Alpha Gang inspecting the damage on it.
"Looks like the ship's pretty badly damaged." Ursula said.
"Small price to pay for shaking those Space Pirates!" Zander remarked.
It was then the Space Pirate's pod ship flew by.
"You were saying?!" She said before the pod ship over them as they ducked.
"Oh no, we didn't lose them!" Max gasped as they saw the pod ship.
The pod ship landed in the opening field near the forest and coming out of it was Seth.
"It can't be?!" Terran gasped.
"Is that…?!" Rex said, gritting his teeth.
"Yeah, our worst nightmare!" Max glowered.
They couldn't believe that Seth is still alive after the Black T-Rex incident while Seth steps off the pod ship with the mini dino Jark.
"I can't believe it! It's Seth!" He gasped.
"How is he still alive?!" Terran said.
As Seth walks, he suddenly collapse and fainted on the ground as the mini Gel Jark dino tried to comfort him. The kids went there to help, but Terran just stood there, wondering how was Seth is with Space Pirates.
A few minutes later, The group brought Seth onboard, but Dr. Z however wasn't very pleased to see him again as he hasn't forgotten after what Seth did while thrashed around.
"Let me at him! That traitor!" Dr. Z yelled while the trio hold him back. "Come on! Put up your dukes! Let's go!"
"Calm down, doctor!" Helga said, checking Seth. "Can't you see that Seth iz not well? Let him regain his strength und zen you can pulverize him!"
"Oh, that's a good idea."
"Doctor, please… hear me out…" Seth groaned.
"No, you double-crossed me!" Dr. Z snapped, crossly. "And nothing will ever make me forgive that!"
A mini dino Gel Jark walks over to Dr. Z, making look at it.
"What was I talking about? Hi."
"Oh, I see you've met my assistant." Seth said. "I made him myself."
"Ah! Why, he's…"
The mini dino Gel Jark plays around and lies down like a dog.
"Precious!" Dr. Z rubbed its belly. "Yes, you like getting your tummy scratched, don't you?"
"Indeed he does, and he also likes to play." Seth said.
"What a coinkidink! I like to play!" He then took his assistant away to play. "Come on you, let's have some fun!"
"Oh, you did that on purpose because you know the doc has a soft spot on Dinos!" Ursula accused.
"Yeah, especially super cute robot ones!" Zander added.
"You're a manipulative, shameful man!" Ed added. "Do you have another one I can play with?"
"Please, you must believe me. I really am sorry for betraying you like I did before." Seth said, honestly. "You can rest assured that it will never happen again."
"You expect us to forgive you after what you did?" Terran exclaimed. "Not a chance. Especially the part where you tried to reengineer to create a new dinosaur species! Even you miscalculated the limited power from the stone tablet! I should've known those dinosaurs that the Space Pirates have was part of your handiwork!"
"Yes, but that was against my will since they made me do it and I don't expect your forgiveness for what I did."
Ursula scoffed. "I'm not buying this one bit!"
"Me neither!" Zander said.
"Yeah, same here!" Ed said.
"If you're a good guy again, why were you in that Space Pirate ship?" Max asked.
"Yeah, why were you, Seth?" Ursula inquired.
"Because I stole it to escape from Spectre." Seth explained, making them surprised. "I'm quite certain that you all remember when I was sucked into that fluxing portal…"
(Flashback)
After defeating the Black T-Rex and Max confronted Seth, he was being pulled in the vortex. He was taken in the cloaked Space Pirate's ship.
"What you don't know is that the Space Pirates found and rescued me on the other end."
Seth was seen talking to Spectre with the Space Pirates.
"Not long after, they discovered that I had a unique knowledge of dinosaurs and dinosaur cards. So the put me to work."
Seth was working in the cells with the dinosaurs as Gorgosaurus and Fukuiraptor was seen in the cell.
"At first I was all too happy to help them, but eventually I learned the truth about what it is they're planning and it's more terrible than you can imagine."
Seth was eavesdropping on their plans.
(Flashback ends)
"Yeah, the Pterosaur kind of filled us in." Zoe said.
"I see. So then you don't understand what's at stake here." Seth said. "All of space and time. The entire universe and more!"
"What exactly do you mean, more?" Rex asked.
"Yeah, after all, there can't be more than the universe." Max exclaimed. "I mean, the universe is everything, right?"
"You still don't get it!" Seth said, "The power of the Cosmos Stones is so great, it can destroy dimensions and worlds other than just our own!"
"Man, my head's spinning." Max groaned while processing the information.
"Is that true?" Terran asked.
"It's really quite simple once you understand how this power works." Seth explained, "And it all starts by understanding the stone plates that each of you possess."
"Stone plates?" Zoe said, looking at her Dino Bracer. "You mean what we have in our Dino Bracers?"
"That's precisely what I mean."
"But what does the stone plates have anything to do with the Cosmos Stones?" Terran asked.
"Because the stone plates are a positive power, the Cosmos Stone are negative." He explained, "They were spawned during a massive explosion that spanned the universe and were brought to earth by an asteroid during the Cretaceous Period. They were scattered throughout the lands but Spectre, knowing how powerful they were, resolved to find them all. However, when he approached Earth, the aftershocks from the asteroid caused his ship to malfunction and landed him in a kind of time wormhole. That is where he found me. But though I may have helped him in the past, I refuse to anymore and when Spectre attacked you, I saw my chance to escape. I stole a vessel and followed you here but the time-space jump took quite a bit out of me."
"Have you seen our parents?" Max asked, "do you know if they're okay?"
"Yes, they're all fine."
The kids sighed in relief that they're parents are safe while Terran has serous doubt about Seth.
The kids and Terran then escort Seth in the room.
"I'm sure you'll feel better in the morning, Seth." Max said.
"Yeah, just get some rest." Zoe said. "And we'll have Helga bring you some food and water, okay?"
"And thanks for understanding why we have to keep you under lock and key for now." Rex said. "It'll just be until we're absolutely sure we can trust you. Good night."
Terran didn't say anything as he glowers at Seth before closing and locking the door. After they left, Seth then used the bracelet and pressed a few buttons.
In the study room, mini dino Gel Jark's eye flashed as if it responded by Seth while Dr. Z looks for it.
"Little robot dino! Where are you?" He called as it left the room. "It's my turn to hide and your turn to seek! Yoo-hoo! Come, come out, where ever you are!"
It turned back to its original form and find Seth.
Still not trusting Seth, the Alpha Gang stood by the door.
"Come on, let's make sure our friend Seth isn't up to no good!" Ursula said while trying to hear him through the door.
"I don't know, Ursula, maybe he really has changed." Zander said.
Suddenly, Gel Jark sneaks up behind them and wraps them, making them yelped in surprise before it dislodged its limb and knocks them away.
"But then again, maybe not!" He said as they rolled to the chute.
Gel Jark then access the lock on the door and opens for Seth.
"Right on time." He smirked.
Outside the ship, Jonathan lowers down a bit as he repairs the ship while Terran and the kids explore the forest.
"We knew the universe was at stake, but if what Seth said is true, it sounds like all life everywhere might be on the line." Max said.
"But only if Spectre gets all seven Cosmos Stones." Zoe said as their dinosaurs is playing.
"Jonathan, how are the repairs coming?" Rex asked.
"Slowly but surely." He said before hoisting back up.
"Keep at it!"
The group then explored through the forest for sightseeing as their dinosaurs went ahead. Chomp went to interact with wild Tuojiangosaurus as Ace looks at the dragonfly and yelped when it zipped flying. Wisp interacts with wild Camarasaurus and Paris drinks the water hole until the rock rises up and slides her down.
"Paris!" Zoe shrieked but sighed as it turns out it's a wild Shunosaurus.
"They all seem to be right at home." Rex smiled.
"Well, in a way, they kind of are." Max agreed.
"Good point. Guess that's why they're having so much fun."
"Well, what do you guys say we go out there and join them!" Zoe said.
"Why not!" Max agreed.
Rex then noticed that Terran wasn't speaking ever since Seth was brought onboard.
"Hey, you okay?" He asked. "You look like you weren't in the good mood whenever you used to take care of dinosaurs."
"Yeah, was it because of Seth?" Max said.
"Isn't it obvious?" Terran spoke. "Of course it's about Seth. I thought he was long gone when he was sucked in the vortex after he created the Black T-Rex and wanted to create his own dinosaur species. I should've known that the Space Pirate's dinosaurs that we fought was part of his handiwork."
"Now that you mentioned it, Seth did create the Black T-rex." Zoe said.
"Yeah, he even wanted to create his own evolved dinosaur species." Max recalled.
"Guys, you overthinking it." Rex said, "I mean, he did escape from the Space Pirates and even told us that our parents is okay."
"Yeah, but don't think that I can forgive him because he made Dr. Z eject your parent in the time warp to who knows where when you were a baby, Rex." Terran stated. "I lost my memories because of him."
"Well… I guess I've forgotten about that." Rex said, thinking about when Jonathan told about his birth parents.
"Guys, let's just worried about it later after Jonathan repairs a ship." Zoe said. "Why don't we just join some fun with them?"
"Right." The boys said before they join in.
Meanwhile, Dr. Z was wandering in the hall while looking for Seth's assistant.
"All right, already, little robo dino!" He called out. "I give up! You win! Did we start a new game already?!"
He then checked the lab and to his surprise, Seth was in there by the machine.
"Seth?! What are you doing in here? This area's restricted!" He exclaimed.
To his shock, Seth has two Cosmos Stone under his arm.
"The Cosmos Stone! Put those down this instant!" Dr. Z demanded. "Don't make me—"
Gel Jark snuck behind and grabbed him.
"Hey, put me down this instant! Let go!"
"Let go? What? You don't want to play with my assistant any longer?" Seth mocked.
"What?!"
"Now if you'll excuse me." Seth then contacted in his bracelet. "Spectre, I have the Cosmos Stones."
"Oh no! Where are the others?!"
Back with the group, the kids and their dinosaurs is playing in the pit while Terran is watching them.
"Come on!" Max said as Zoe and Paris climbs up.
As they climb, they see Seth running through the trees.
"What in the—" Zoe gasped when she sees him.
"Seth!" Max gasped. "How'd did he get out?!"
They received a call in Rex's Dino Bracer as Rex answered.
"RED ALERT! RED ALERT!" Dr. Z shouted.
"Seth has escaped and he has the Cosmos Stones!" He said in the telephone while Helga pinned Gel Jark down.
"He did what!?" Terran said, shocked. "I knew it! I knew he couldn't be trusted!"
"Come on, we have to stop him!" Max said.
Terran and the kids ran to stop Seth but suddenly, Gigas appeared and barred their way.
"I don't think that's native!" He gasped.
"It's Gigas!" Terran said, "If that's here, that means Gabbro is here!"
"You got that right, but he's still gonna primal on ya!" Gabbro said, flew in.
Seth then saw that as his chance to make it back to the pod ship.
"Dino Slash!" Terran and the boys slashed their cards on their Dino Bracers/Wrist Controller, summoning their dinosaurs in full-size.
"Element Booster! DinoTector, on!" They plugged their boosters in their Dino Bracers/Wrist Controller, equipping their dinosaurs with element armors.
Chomp and Ace surround Gigas, both attacking, but he stops them with his head and easily shoves them back, Ace slamming into a tree and Chomp skidding along the ground as Wisp charges towards Gigas and headbutted his head, but Gigas gets the upper hand and tail slam his head, stunning him.
"Aw yeah, and there's a lot more where that came from!" Gabbro swipe the move card on his chest plate. "Like this! Magma Blaster!"
Gigas used the Magma Blaster move and fires at the armored dinosaurs.
"Get out of my way! Aurora Wavelength!" Terran activates the move ability.
Wisp charges as he used the Aurora Wavelength while cutting through the fire move and rammed Gigas, sending him flying towards the Seth's pod ship and crashed into it.
Seeing that the pod ship is destroyed, Seth then ran the other way.
"Go on and hit him again, Gigas." Gabbro told it as Gigas gets up.
Gigas used the Magma Blaster move again at Wisp.
Terran and the kids yelped and ran away as the fire is spreading over the trees and the wild dinosaurs is fleeing from the wildfire. The Backland is starting up as it raises from the crash spot.
"Shear, go and help get Seth back to the ship!" Spectre instructed.
"Yes sir, right away!" Shear said.
At Taylor's house, Dr. Ancient has managed to connect the TV from communication system.
"There! I've hacked into Spectre's imaging system." He said. "Now we can see what he sees."
"My goodness. Look at that fire!" Aki gasped in shock when she sees the wildfire spread in the forest.
"Oh, those poor dinosaurs!" Ms. Drake gasped.
"Oh no! the children!"
"They're trapped by the flames!" Dr. Drake said.
They see their children as they're surrounded by wildfire while Terran contacts the ship.
"Max, can you hear me?!" Spike called, "Rex, Zoe?! Say something! Terran!"
Even he tried calls them, they couldn't hear him when they tapped in the camera feeds.
"We can see them, but they can't see or hear us!"
"And that means we won't be able to help them." Dr. Cretacia said, concerned.
At the ground, Seth stopped at the cliff before the Backland corners him.
"There he is!" Dr. Z exclaimed as they found Seth cornered. "There's nowhere left for him to run! We've got him!"
They felt a rumble their ship is hit by a laser from Space Pirate's ship.
"That is if the Space Pirates don't get us first!" He panicked as Jonathan steered the ship away from fire.
As the Backland drives away, the Space Pirate's ship hover over Seth and teleported him back in the ship.
"I'm locked onto your location." Jonathan said he hovers the ship over them. "Prepare to return to the ship!"
"Right, we're on it!" Max said.
Terran and the boys recalled their dinosaurs back into the card as Gigas tries biting them. Once they have their cards back, They immediately teleported back into the ship before the wildfire spreads even more.
"That was close." Dr. Ancient sighed as the Backland timed warp away. "Thank goodness they've all escaped safely."
"But that fire rages on." Spike exclaimed. "And if those flames continue to spread, it may change all… of history."
As the Space Pirate's ship left the Jurassic Period, the wildfire continues to spread all over the forest.
At the present time in the D-Lab, Reese is still working to contact the Backland after the last two attempt before Rod and Laura brought in with pizza and sodas.
"The pizza just got here, so whadaya say we dig in?" Rod smiled.
"Yes, let's." Reese said as Dr. Owen and Patrick came in.
They then enjoy eating the pizza after trying to contact the others in Backland.
"Good food and good friends equal good times!" Laura said while eating the pizza slice. "Nothing can ruin this moment!"
While they're eating the pizza, the plants begins to sprout and grow outside the lab as the everything around them is growing rapidly.
At the bridge, Terran and the kids arrived after teleported away from the wildfire.
"Wow, that was a close one!" Max said,
"Thanks for saving us again. Jonathan." Rex said.
Suddenly, they receive a transmission alarm.
"We're receiving a transmission!" Jonathan said, bring up the screen.
"This is D-Lab, please respond immediately." Reese said while having a staticky communication transmission.
"It's Reese.. but what's she saying?" Zoe gasped.
"Something terrible has happened. The fate of the world, it's changing."
"Reese, come in!" Max said, as the communication is breaking. "You're breaking up… Come in, Reece!"
The communication to the present time was cut off.
"Reese!"
