Chapter 6: Porygon Covenant
You guys remember Electric Soldier Porygon? Well, since it seems like since Porygon is out of the picture in the anime, unfortunately, it needs a chance to shine in a fanfiction.
Liko and her Miraidon, along with a Porygon, go to a mysterious adventure in Nurse Joy's computer because well... something magnificent is trapped in there.
At Naranja Academy.
Ms.Briar called upon a meeting in Jacq's classroom to discuss the majestic goal terms from Liko's doings of catching Arceus. Rika, Geeta, and Director Clavell are participating.
"So, I wanted to share some exciting news that had something related to one of our finest students", Ms.Briar addressed.
Geeta and Rika were standing their, interested to find out what all of this was about. They are excited with pride and wonder and they wait as if there was a reward that was about to be granted at them.
Clavell however stood in nervousness and sweating and looking at Rika, shaking with goosebumps as if he just watch an unnerving scene in a horror film because he knows Rika is strict about certain things.
Ms.Briar turns on the smart board and shows them the prophecy which is painted of the pendant, Terapagos, and Arceus, along with the colorful markings.
While explaining, Ms.Brair points at the parts of the picture of the prophecy. "We just found an amazingly fancy research regarding the pendant Liko possesses. From a most interesting article, ones who are going through pain, trauma, depression, dread, ect., they can be healed by having the Pokémon Legends of heroes help them through. And it is connected to Terapagos and the pendant. Deoxys, Mew, Lugia, Lunala, and Terapagos are the key to Arceus. Liko's family must've found the ancient pendant from somewhere. And now Liko became a coincidence. Isn't that just fascinating?!"
Geeta claps her hands joyfully. She didn't know Liko had such a dark but historic arc that she is now dealing with. Did anyone know this? Of course not! But now it is clear that this will help Liko with her struggles of life.
"Such a grand and great hero. We understand any pain that was caused to her.", said Geeta, feeling huge sympathy for Liko.
Rika twiched and was about to turn from happy to angry and disappointment. "Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. What has Liko been doing then?", she questions.
"She was spending her time focusing on becoming champion of Paldea while searching for Legendaries and Mythicals around the region. That includes Area Zero."
After Rika heard this answer from Briar, she sarcastically smiles and walks over to the announcement telephone. "You don't mind if I utilize this for 2.5 seconds due you?"
Clavell quickly waved his hands and nodding no at Rika as a sign of "No! Please Don't do it!". He doesn't want Liko to feel like she's in trouble when in reality, she actually isn't. Geeta had no answer as she is smiling nervously knowing what Rika will do next. Ms.Briar bowed to Rika as a response to make an announcement amongst the academy.
As Liko is walking in the halls, she starts looking at her pendant. She really like how it shines throughout the daytime. She looks at herself through the reflection coming from the pendant then somehow imagines Carmine in the reflection. "Carmy-Carms?", she said in confusion.
She then rubs her eyes for a few seconds and then looks at the reflection on the pendant again. Carmine wasn't there. Liko's cheeks blushed red. She really misses Carmine.
Something tells me I miss her. But why? Why is that possible...? What is this feeling I have?
Her mind was about to be off of Carmine for a while as soon as a beep from the halls appeared.
*Beep! Boop!* LIKO! THIS IS RIKA SPEAKING! REPORT TO MR.JACQ'S HOMEROOM RIGHT NOW, YOUNG LADY!!!
Liko sighed in discomfort like she wanted to hit her head on a random locker multiple times. "What did I even do?!", she says in frustration. She huffs and puffs and walks to Mr.Jacq's homeriom class. "If it has something to do with that Anniversary Party last night, I'm gonna lose it."
At Mr.Jacq's classroom, everyone including Liko gathered near the smart board. "You have been what??!! You fool! I warned you!", said Rika, scolding Liko like a parent.
Clavell says this to Liko quietly with a nervous amd scared face, "She warned you..."
"Rika, please consider this", Geeta told Rika calmly.
"I'm trying to consider this! But she's sitting here going to Area Zero with absolutely ANY permission!!!" She then points to Liko in so much upset and anger. "And you! Did you even manage to at least stay away from Arceus because of how dangerous he is, according to research? Of course not. By allowing this Chose One arc to run down to you in some happy story folly you have endangered everything we have ever built here!"
A curios and confused Liko was scratching her head. She wanted to know why Rika was so upset by the whole "never go to Area Zero" thing and why is it even a rule. "If you don't mind me asking a personal question, who made this rule to begin with?"
"Good question.", said Rika. "These rules we're implied by Sada and Turo if something tragic ever happened to them. Which it did. To keep us safe."
Liko blinked in uncertainty of this. "That makes since, but at the same time it doesn't! If Arven's parents died, the rules wouldn't impact anyone else, would it? You can't just send these rules out to-" Liko put her hands on her head and decided to forget about the concept of Area Zero's restrictions. "Look, I'm sorry. But I have to follow that mission now. I need to make my friends proud. Even my family..." she frowned and looks down a bit.
Rika was about to get cranky about letting Liko do this crazy operation. But she took a deep breath with vexation. "Oh... fine. But only because Geeta and the others are fond of what your doing."
Liko gasped, smiling softly and then runs up to Rika to hug her. "Thank you so much!" Rika's had vacant look on her face and didn't even want to hug Liko back. "Okay. Alright. Get off me."
Liko quickly broke the hug after she was told to get off of Rika. "Sorry!" Suddenly, not a even a second later, Murdock kicks down the door. "Liko! We have an emergency! Remember when you got Miraidon from the Pokémom center?!"
Liko stared a Murdock with an uh oh kind of look. "Your kidding?"
Murdock chuckled timidly. "I wish I was..."
Liko slowly started walking backwards to exit the classroom. "I'm so sorry, but I have to go."
Ms.Briar, Geeta, and Clavell wave goodbye to Liko.
"Happy trails!"
"Make sure to relax and live your life well."
"See you later, our fellow student."
Rika crossed her arms and looked away in disappointment. "Hmph!"
Liko continues walking backwards and eventually exits the classroom and then her and Murdock jog in the halls.
At the airship in the sky, Murdock is supervising the sky while Liko is sitting on the pilot seat. "Keep up the good work, Captain Pikachu.", said Liko.
"Pika Pika!" Captain Pikachu was navigating the pilot wheel.
"Where are the others?", Liko wondered.
"Waiting for us.", Murdock answered. "I already called that we are on our way to then immediately.
Liko gets an unexpected beeping noise on her crystal watch. It had a contacter appear on that watch. It was the name of Attack Form Deoxys. It messaged Liko with these strange words.
ŸÖÜ ÄŘË ŇÖŤ ÄŁÖŅË. ŞĂVÊ MĘ.
That sounded like an extraterrestrial alien saying. Liko shrugged her shoulders and typed to Attack Form Deoxys on her Rotom Phone in return.
Not sure what that means. Please elaborate.
Attack Form Deoxys then texted Liko back in weird encrypted messages.

Confused by this haunted encryption, Liko tilts her head sideways for a bit.
What? What is Attack Form Deoxys telling me?
Then she realizes that the Pokémon that's calling out to her is the next one she mist capture.
Wait! He's the next Legendary and or Mythical I need to catch in the prophecy markings. Don't worry, Deoxys! I'll save you!
I understand. I'll save you.
Attack Form Deoxys texts her back one last thing.

Liko lightly smiles. She knows in her heart that the Pokémon will be saved. But where did that poor thing get trapped into?
Murdock yawned. Orla walked over to see how everything is going. "Is it my turn to keep the fuel running?", asked Murdock. "Go ahead.", said Orla.
"Yes!"
Murdock rushed downstairs.
Orla took out a logo chair and sat next to Liko. "So, did you make any new friends?"
Liko smirked softly. "I made a new one..."
Orla gasps with excitement. "Oh! Really?! Who?!"
"Carmine."
Orla was fascinated by the name of Liko's new friend. "Ooo! Carmine! That sounds like a nice name."
Liko blushed a bit. "She's been really nice to me ever since I met her. But she left... she went to her home at Kitikami."
Orla felt a bad for Liko. Her friend leaving her sounds like it was sad. "Aaww. Well that's not far from here, but you totally get to see her again."
Liko's lips quivered. Her body then quivered too. She didn't know if it was okay to let out this information to Orla about Carmine or if she should keep it at bay. She doesn't know how Orla will react.
I guess I should tell her that thing, huh? It might ne embarrassing...
Liko breathed deeply before she spoke. "I think I'm starting to love her..."
Orla's face was in emotionally happy and proud shock. She covered her mouth with her hand. She and the Rising Volt Tacklers know Liko enough already to know that she's been lonely without a romantic love life around her. But hearing this almost wants to make her squeal with cheer.
Liko rubbed her thumbs together nervously. She feels unnerved telling Orla this, but decides to admit it further. "I know... shocker. But, I never dated a boy, nor a girl like me. I've been a lone wolf for a while. No one to love, no one to cuddle me, no one to share my feelings with romantically, all of those things. It sounds weird, I'm sorry..."
Orla comforts Liko by putting her hand on Liko's hand. "Liko! It's not weird! Your allowed to love any gender you want. I've seen lots of movies and TV shows to understand that. Your feelings matter to Carmine. She'll love you deeply for it."
While Liko leaks a tear, hearing the helpful words from her, she looks at Orla. "Are you sure? Even after everything I've been through? Even after what happened to..." she was going to mention her grandmother and her mother again, but decided not to. But she does end a question with, "You think Carmine would help me?"
Orla understands Liko's pain. She rubs her hand gently. "Of course she will, just like we're all helping you." Liko wiped her tear away after Orla answered her question. "Especially that Arceus thingy!" Orla laughed after that. The Arceus mention made Liko giggle. "Thanks, Orla." Orla nodded her head. "Your welcome, sweetheart."
"Pika-Pika!!!", Captain Pikachu said in "destination ho!" form.
At the Pokémon Center, Orla, Murdock, and Liko arrive.
Captin Pikachu runs up to Friede's shoulder. "Pika pika!"
"Perfect timing all of you.", said Friede.
"What's the situation?", said Murdock.
"The Wifi in here has been tampered due to a thunderstorm that happened this morning at 3 AM to 7 AM", Dot answered. She walks over to monitor Nurse Joy's computer. "And everything is back on line, but the thunder hit the Pokémon Center's network signal before that. And it caused a weak internet connection corruption to Nurse Joy's computer. It needs fixing."
"That ain't good.", said Liko in a bit of worry.
"That's what Nurse Joy's Porygon is for!", said Roy.
Friede chuckled. "That's correct. Nurse Joy's Porygon would know what to do, but it might need help. Liko, you've study Porygons at Naranja Academy before, correct."
Liko nodded in response. "Yes! All of the three evolutions are born to be virtual adventurers. Basically it supposed to be like a whole cyber antivirus ordeal if something bad happened to peoples computers."
"And that's what Nurse Joy is for." After Friede says that, Nurse Joy shows up running in a speedy pace before stopping and taking a breather to explain her side of the Wifi error story.
Orla smiles, shaking her head. "Speak of the devil.", she said.
"Thank goodness! I heard you know about Porygons, Liko! Do you think you could help fix my computer?", Nurse Joy said in panic.
"Sure. Some sort of computer virus or something? Maybe a Wifi virus?", Liko asked.
"No actually, more like a WiFi internet problem. Apparently there is this Attack Form Deoxys I need to transport here since I'm selling Pokémon for free. Kind of like a get your free new Pokémon as a pet day. But I can't seem to get the Wifi working. So I was wondering if you can venture with my Porygon here to help fix the problem."
Liko looked at Porygon sitting next to her. "Hi! I'm Porygon! The Virtual Pokémon! And I would like to reach an agreement!"
Liko crossed her arms in fascination. "Enlighten me."
"If you help the nurse transport this Doexys here, we can give it away to you as a gift. Do we have a deal?"
Liko definitely was going to accept this offer. She thought to herself feeling confident about her efforts of fulfilling the prophecy.
If I go on this mission, this'll be a easy already. Attack Form Deoxys is my next catch! This will bring me one step closer to catching Arceus and becoming the Pokémon Master.
She lends out her hand to Porygon. "It's a deal. I will help you."
Porygon flipped and flew around in circles. "Oh joy! I can't not wait to start this mission with you."
Liko thought about something and took out two pokéballs. "There's just some Pokémon of mine I would like to bring with me. Floragato! Iron Serpent! Emerge!" Floragato and Iron Serpent are spawned.
"Flora"
"Mirai!"
Liko crouched down to Floragato. "Now I know I haven't utilized you in a while, even though we beat Gym Leader Brassius before school this morning, but you'll definitely be able to come along with this, okay?"
"Flor!", Floragato said in response.
"Look at you. Your still cute." Liko gently pets Floragato's head.
Friede, Murdock, and Orla we're suprised for Liko. They didn't know she caught a legendary Pokémon. They get a view of Miraidon.
"Is that Miraidon?! Very impressive, Liko.", said Friede supportively.
"Thanks. I nicknamed it Iron Serpent. And to make it more powerful... I thought it would be time to bring something up for it to eat." Liko started taking out a salad with random Herba Mysticas on it from her backpack. She hands it over to her Iron Serpent. "Eat up!"
"Mira? Don-don!"
Iron Serpent eats the salad, and it now starts shining brightly for a few seconds.
Everyone including Liko had a blank stare on their faces.
"Hmm. That's funny, for a second I thought something—"
Before Roy could even finish, Iron Serpent starts going into it's powerful form. A powerful form that the other Miraidon out there somewhere has.
"... epic was going to happen."
This took Liko's breath away. She gazes upon the form of Iron Serpent. "Oh my gosh! Iron Serpent! You're beautiful!"
"Miraidon!! Mirai-rai!"
Liko zipped up her backpack and puts it back on. "Alright! With the stuff I packed in my trusty backpack, and of any pokéballs to catch new Pokémon, I'm all prepared!"
Nurse Joy was pleased about that. "Excellent! Please step into the cyber transportation platform and you'll be all set to go."
Liko, Floragato, and Miraidon stood on top of the platform. Porygon hovers next to Liko. "It's cyber traveling time!", it says in excitement.
Roy and Dot walk up to Liko, playfully giving her the drama treatment.
"Liko! We just want you to know, we're gonna miss you if you die!!", Roy says while fake crying.
Liko start cracking up in laughter.
"Rest in peace, friend. Rest in peace.", says Dot, playfully dramatically.
Liko smiled nervously, being okay with the playful drama even if it is a bit weird. "Guys, let's not get sentimental. I promise, I'll be safe."
"Yeah, we know. We're just messing with ya!", says Roy.
"Stay safe out there.", Dot said lightheartedly.
They both did a salute pose to Liko. Liko did a salute pose back. Friede, Orla, and Murdock joined in with the salute posing. "Good luck, kiddo.", Friede said.
Liko nodded to Friede with determination.
Nurse Joy was typing in a few more things on her transportation machine and started the platform. "It's ready! Have a fun mission!"
Liko, her Pokémon, and Porygon are now virtually traveling into Nurse Joy's computer.
As the entered the cyberspace, they see that it is like they are in an outer space-esque void.
"Wow! This place is..." Liko wanted to say the word "cool" but she's mesmerized by the cyberspace to even speak.
"There's a lot of fun to be had here! But no time. We gotta save that Deoxys and Nurse Joy's WiFi connection.", said Porygon.
Porygon grew into a larger size. "Hop in! All aboard the Porygon express!" Liko and her Pokémon hop on Porygon and Porygon takes them into a wormhole gateway. "The WiFi must be stuck due to Deoxys being trapped in there. Once we get him out, the WiFi will be back online and we can get out of here before that Antivirus shows up."
"What Antivirus?", Liko asked. "Well, you see... the Antivirus searches for things that are living and breathing. And if it finds us for example, it'll think we'reviruses. What'sworse is it'll make you vulnerable if you start thinking about your worst fear."
Liko shook like she was cold a bit with goosebumps on her arms. She was accidentally thinking about her wors lt fear already. "I have a fear, but I must not tell it."
Porygon sighs and shakes its head. "Listen. If you keep thinking of your worst fear, that Antivirus will attack you. Think happy thoughts!"
It seems that everything Porygon was saying might be true. Liko took a very deep breath and closed her eyes. "Okay, I'm thinking happy thoughts..." Then she started picturing things in her head. "Okay so there's... My friends, The Rising Volt Tacklers, my Family, Carmine, me trying to become a Pokémon Master, and then...Ash Ketchum??!!" She opens her eyes.
Porygon looked at Liko. It makes a cheerful face as it is proud of Liko for thinking happy thoughts already. "See?! You got this! That Antivirus will definitely not stop us now."
Liko had a grouchy expression as she was disgusted thinking about Ash. "Yeah. Uh huh. Thanks.", she grumbled.
Back in reality in the Pokémon Center, Friede and Nurse Joy monitor Porygon, Liko, and her Pokémon heading towards the WiFi location.
"How's Liko doing?", asked Friede.
"She's heading to the WiFi area.", answered Nurse Joy. "But something tells me that annoying Antivirus I installed might be trouble...", she informed Freide in concern.
"What?!", Freide gasped.
Murdock showed up in worry. "You mean to tell me that you installed an Antivirus?! What if it mistakenly takes Liko and those Pokémon for Viruses?!"
Nurse Joy does her best to stay calm after being asked that question. "She's going to be okay. I swear. This Antivirus' codes are always difficult to command. I try to stop it from marking people and Pokémon as a virus, but... No luck."
Orla raised her hand in joy. "I have an idea!" She then points her hands at Dot, who's taking a nap on the couch with Roy. "Why don't we have Dot help? She's great with computers."
Friede liked the idea and nods his head, he then walks over to Dot. "Alright. It looks like someone is napping on the job." Friede looks at Dot sleeping for a second. He whistles to Captain Pikachu, calling him over. "Pika-?!" Captain Pikachu springs up and hops on Friede's right shoulder.
"Do my a favor bud. Wake up Dot here will ya?" Captain Pikachu followed what Friede told him and jumps on top of Dot. It stands up and stretches its arms. It then uses a Thunderbolt on Dot and she gets painfully zapped. "Wwwoooaaaahhh!!! Ouuchh!!" Dot quickly gets up. She rages and grits her teeth hard at Pikachu, like she was going to strangle it. "CAPTAIN PIKACHU??!!!"
Captain Pikachu gulped and shivered in fearfulness. "Piikkaa..."
Friede pats Dot's shoulder to calm her down. "Hey, don't blame Cap here. We just needed your help."
Dot acknowledged this and breathed. "Okay. But next time you can shake me to wake me up. I'm not a heavy sleeper you know."
This made Friede feel bad for Dot and regret he ever made Captain Pikachu do that to Dot. "Oops. Didn't realize that. I'll know that for next time".
Dot goes to help out Nurse Joy. "Okay. So what is it exactly that you want me to do?", Dot asks. Nurse Joy steps aside and allows Dot to walk near the computer. "I just need you to see if you can devise a code for my Antivirus so that Liko and Porygon don't get into trouble." Dot cracked her hands together in confidence and starts typing on the computer. "Leave it to me."
At the wormhole, while on a ride of Porygon, Miraidon and Floragato are playing while Liko is sitting in bordem pouting. "I'm bored. How much longer?" Porygon giggled, thinking it was funny. "Just about a minute and thirty seconds." Liko looked up for a few seconds in relief. "Thank Arceus! We've been traveling through this wormhole for 7 minutes."
Porygon couldn't stop staring at Liko for one minute. It was curious of her. Human Liko? If you don't mind me asking, is something on your mind?"
Liko looked at Porygon, feeling extremely uncomfortable. "How would you know?" Porygon looks away at Liko now, understanding boundaries. "I was scanning your brain." This made Liko scoff at the Pokémon. "Unbelievable! But fine. Just keep it between us. Please?" Porygon nodded, responding as a yes to keep, whatever Liko was thinking about, between them.
Liko starts explaining to Porygon in a serious tone. "Okay. I have trauma. Okay? Trauma. You know what that is?" Porygon started processing information by circling its eyes around like a chameleon. It blinked afterwards. "Oh yeah! Oh, that's terrible. Why tell me this?", asked Porygon with curiousness.
Liko starts leaking tears. "I don't know if one of my family members are alive! Okay?! The Explorers took everything from me! Amethio, Spinel, the leader Gibeon, all of those evil members. Diana is dead, my mother Luca is unknown to be out there somewhere and I can't do anything about this because I'm too much of a loser!!! But the Rising Volt Tacklers and Roy and Dot are helping me! But at the same time, it hurts... It hurts having PTSD from this.
Iron Serpent and Floragato overhears everything and comfort Liko.
She wipes away her tears. "That's why when I complete my prophecy as "The Chosen One" and capture Arceus, I won't be only the strongest Pokémon Master, I want the Explorers to suffer and be brought down. To be obliterated once and for all.", She states in a very voice of darkness and hatred. Her face was dark and brooding in anger and depression. She really despises her arch enemies, The Explorers. She wants nothing more just to see them die.
Porygon had a blank face. It looked like it ignored the moment of what was happening with Liko. "Sorry. What was the thing about The Explorers being villains?"
Iron Serpent and Floragato seriously facepalmed. Liko decided to sit in a sad position. "Nevermind. Your probably not even understanding me."
Porygon saw the gateway they're approaching. "Finally! We made it!", Porygon yelled.
They finally arrived at the WiFi system. They can see Attack Form Deoxys, trapped in a binary code design cage.
"There it is!"
Attack Form Deoxys looks at Liko and Porygon. The purple crystal on its chest to indicate that its typing another message to Liko into her Rotom Phone again.

Liko beams proudly at Attack Form Deoxys. "Yeah. That's Deoxys alright."
Porygon teleports a virtual key. Floragato grabs it and decides to unlock the cage. Attack Form Deoxys is free.
"Yippee! Now let's get out of here before that Antivirus shows up!"
But it was too late. The Antivirus arrives. It teleports on the top of the cage. But it wasn't just any Antivirus, if was Porygon-Z. "Hello. You are intefering with Nurse Joy's computer. You are all viruses." Porygon-Z starts shaking around along with its head. It looks like it behaves like having a seizure.
"Aw! He's cute! I wonder how he's protecting the cyberspace." Liko was interested in observing Porygon-Z but she knows there's no time to do that as they need to leave the cyberspace.
"That's the problem though. This is my brother. And he's the Antivirus. He protects, yes. But he does it a bit too well."
Porygon-Z dances around a bit. "I help. It's what I'mprogrammed to do."
Liko was heartwarmed of Porygon's brother trying to help. "I know. But can you let us leave by any chance? I promise, we were just here for maintenance.", Liko says calmly to Porygon-Z.
Porygon-Z gets worried a bit. He starts shaking a bit more. "I must... not comply... to a v1rus."
Liko then made the situation worse by thinking about the worst fear mention. "Hold on? Porygon, didn't you say your brother makes viruses vulnerable if we think to much about our worst fear?"
"MI-!", Iron Serpent freaks out that Liko thought of that again.
"FLORAGATO!" Floragto scolds Liko.
Liko was embarrassed that she humiliated the mission. "Oh dear. I didn't mean... well... we may be viruses, but it can't get any worse right?"
"IT CAN!!!", Porygon yelled angrily at Liko.
Porygon-Z starts to transform itself into a dracula vampire. Liko was outraged and cleched her fists. "What??!!"
Porygon, Iron Serpent, Deoxys, and Floragato felt intimidated by Porygon-Z's transformation.
"No. I think you guys just became my next victims.", Porygon-Z as a vampire says in a vampire accent.
Liko was still tempered about Porygon-Z'z strange ability. "Errrgghh! You never told me your brother could shapeshift!"
"That's why you don't think about your worst fear.", Porygon says sarcastically.
Liko gives Porygon a blank stare.
"OBVIOUSLY I DIDN'T THINK HE DID THAT EITHER!!!", it screams rhetorically.
"Well that's fine. We just need to distract Porygon-Z. But first..."
Liko scans Porygon-Z with her pokédex.
Porygon-Z, the Virtual Pokémon. A Normal Type. Other than just inside conputers, it's said to also travel alien dimensions. It's Dubios Disk was supposed to be a success after the evolution from Porygon-2, but failed. It has caused Porygon-Z to make shaky motion movements in a convulsing state. This behavior is bizarre and weird since it acts like it's in the form of having an epileptic episode.
Liko nodded her head, understanding the issues of Porygon-Z. "I feel bad for this Porygon evolution. It doesn't deserve that. But we must escape before this thing is out to get us. Floragato, use Energy Ball!"
"Flora-ga-to!" Florgato throws an Energy Ball at Porygon-Z.
"Ouch! How dare you, you victim!" Vampire shapeshifted Porygon-Z shakes violently in anger.
Liko and the Pokémon hop on to Porygon. "Hurry! There's no time to lose!"
Back with the Rising Volt Tacklers and Nurse Joy, the situation is getting a lot worse.
Access Denied!
Dot was typing rapidly of frustration. "Come on! Poor sweet innocent Liko needs our help!!! Just change Porygon-Z's programming! Please!!!"
Access Denied!
"COME ON!"
A.C.C.E.S.S D.E.N.I.E.D.
Dot ragingly bangs the keyboard with her fists. "SON OF A-! ARCEUS FREAK MAN!!!" Dot covers her face and looks like she's on the brink of tears.
Nurse Joy and Orla comfort Dot. "It's okay, Dot. Liko is finding a way out of there. Just breathe.", Orla says while comforting Dot.
Roy wasn't giving up on his friend either. "I know Liko and the Pokémon will escape! No matter what, we are counting on Liko."
Friede was pacing back and forth. Something was bothering him about Porygon-Z. "There's one thing I don't get."
"And what does that seem to be?", asked Murdock.
"Why did Porygon-Z shapeshift into a vampire out of all things. I'm starting to believe it's only less threatening with those types of shenanigans it just pulled off."
"I can answer that question.", said Nurse Joy. "Porygon-Z does this if people think of their worst fears. And it makes me worried more for Liko and her safety."
Murdock grimaced while rubbing his arm. This was starting to become bad news already. "This ain't good. Liko is afraid of vampires."
Nurse Joy confirmingly nods. She then looks back at the monitor cam. "It's true. But according to monitoring her from my computer, she doesn't tend to show it. And I wonder why."
After rapidly warping back into the main cyberspace entramce from the wormhole, Porygon tries to find a way to get his pals out of there. "Oh no. I just realized! We need to wait for a portal! Liko, could you contact Nurse Joy or anyone?"
"On it!", She starts using her watch to contact Nurse Joy.
Nurse Joy picks up her phone and answers it. "Liko! Are you okay?!"
"Yes! But you must hurry! Porygon-Z might find us any minute! I'm kind of scared of vampires so I don't feel safe! Porygon-Z as a vampire is mad at us!", Liko says in panic.
Nurse Joy gasped in horror. "Okay! Hold on tight, okay?! I promise you'll be okay and I'll get you out of there!"
Nurse Joy hangs up the call and types in the teleportation code. "She'll be okay. She'll be okay. She'll be okay. She'll be okay! She'll be okay!!!" Nurse Joy kept repeating that over and over, trying to quickly get Liko out of her computer.
Meanwhile, Porygon-Z's voice can be heard. "Come out come out wherever you are."
Liko screamed. "Oh Giratina no! He's here!"
Porygon and Liko's Pokémon shushed Liko, getting her to be quiet. Porygon spawns in a Bark Tree. "Let's hide behind this tree I teleported." Porygon takes them to the tree to hide behind. "You can run but you can't hide, victims."
Liko was panting fast as if she was about to have a panic attack. "Liko. I know you're scared. But just know this, that's not a vampire. Porygon-Z just did that to make you feel fear. You can do this."
Liko stopped for a minute. She also remembered the encrypted messages Attack Form Deoxys gave to her. She knows what she must do. With determination of bravery, she stands up and grips a Great Ball in her hand. "Deoxys?"
Deoxys looked down to Liko. "Your the reason I'm happy to be on this adventure. I know we shall finish this in style. So will you be apart of my team?"
Deoxys stood there in thought of the question. Deoxys purple orb crystal on its chest started glowing. It nods its head yes and started communicating with Liko.
"Deo-Deoxys."
Liko smiles softly at Deoxys. She walks towards it and throws a Great Ball at it. She successfully catches Attack Form Deoxys. "Finally. Another one caught. Two more to go." Liko took a peak of Porygon-Z as a vampire behind the tree. It was just floating there, waiting to end its purpose of the mission against viruses.
"Porygon. Unteleport the tree."
Porygon makes the tree disappear. Liko hops off of Porygon and walks towards Porygon-Z heroically.
The Rising Volt Tacklers and Nurse Joy are watching this. They cheer for Liko for standing up to Porygon-Z.
"Go Liko! Take it down!", Roy cheered.
"You can do it!", Dot yelled.
"Ayo, Porygon-Z!", Liko shouted. "It's check out time!"
Porygon-Z convulses in lots of pent up anger. "You cannot escape this place! All of you shall be my victims!!!"
Liko takes out the Great Ball. "Heh. Yeah. Right. Go Deoxys!" Attack Form Deoxys is spawned.
"Deo!!"
Liko confidently focuses on Porygon-Z. "And by the way, I'm not afraid of vampires any longer. I know your not one anyway. So stray away from that shapeshifting form and become Porygon-Z again coward."
Porygon-Z got a lot more tempered. It shapeshited back into its normal self. It looks at Liko menacingly. "Do you really think you can escape alive??!!"
"I do actually think that. My family is counting on me and my friends are counting on me."
Porygon-Z laughs in insanity and anger. "OH PUH-LEASE! Your probably doing this to impress someone your in love with too!!!"
As Porygon-Z mentioned that, Liko blinked. She blushed as she went into the thought of Carmine. She smiles as her heart felt enlightenment of love. "Your right. And when I see her again one day, when the time comes, I'll tell her exactly how I feel. Because she was the most beloved out of anybody to understand how I feel. Not Ash, not anyome else! And so I will fight you now to end this once and for all. Sorry about this, Porygon-Z! Deoxys, USE PSYCHO BOOST!"
Attack Form Deoxys throws a Psycho Boost at Porygon-Z. Porygon-Z is damaged. It fights back charging Dark Pulse. The Deoxys flies around swiftly, dodging all of Porygon-Z's Dark Pulses.
"Now use Psychic!"
Deoxys locks on to Porygon-Z with telekinetic power and activates its Psychic. It controls Porygon-Z to go up, and then slams it to the ground.
The seizure boogaloo looking Pokémon gets back up and starts spinning its head around in circles with angry eyes. "Enough! My turn!"
It flies right to left and left to right: using the move Agility to raise its speed stat.
"Don't let its Agility get to you." Liko cheered on to her Deoxys. "We are stronger than this. Get ready for Psycho Boost!"
The Attack Form launches its first Psycho Boost. But Porygon-Z dodges it. It kept firing more Psycho Boosts and Porygon-Z was zigzagging through all of them. This made Attack Form Deoxys tired. Porygon-Z then threw a ball of electricity at Deoxys. It was Zap Cannon! And it looked like a huge one. There's no way Deoxys could not dodge that.
The Pokémon at least tries to attempt dodging Zap Cannon, but the right side of its body gets scraped off.
That scared Liko. Her Pokémon must've gotten injured. "Oh Deoxys! Are you okay, buddy?! Speak to me..."
Deoxys looked at its own damage. It hastily recuperated its body back to normal. Liko breathes in much cheerful relief. "That's awesome! But you don't have to keep fighting if you want. I just don't want that to happen again."
Attack Form Doexys side eyes Liko with assurance. It nodded to her, telling her to not worry.
Liko cheerfully smiles at the Pokémon. "Okay. I trust you."
Porygon-Z scoffed aggressively and growled furiously. "Enoughwith the Arceus dang emotional stuff!!! Let's end this!!!" Porygon-Z charges at Attack Form Deoxys with high velocity. It's Agility is still kicking in.
"Deoxys? Don't attack yet. I have an idea."
Deoxys agreed to this and kept its focus on Porygon-Z.
Porygon-Z prepares another Zap Cannon.
"Wait for it..."
Porygon didn't know what strategy Liko was up to. But it was disturbing to see Liko's thinking process like this. "What are you doing! Command that alien looking Pokémon already!" If she doesn't do something soon, Attack Form Deoxys is finished. "Oh I can't watch...!" Porygon turns around and looks away.
Porygon-Z gets closer and raises its left arm up as it is ready to strike its Zap Cannon.
"NOW!", Liko commanded.
As Porygon-Z flings its Zap Cannon at Attack Form Deoxys, it dodges the Zap Cannon. Porygon-Z had a fearfully surprised face and trembled. Knowing that the Pokémon quickly dodged his Zap Cannon, Porygon-Z slowly looks behind him. Attack Form Deoxys levitated above Porygon-Z glared at him with dominance. Porygon-Z screamed and started moving in a glitchy motion. "NO PLEASE! NO MERCY!"
Attack Form Deoxys flew backwards to keep a distance. Porygon-Z was confused but felt grateful Deoxys didn't attack. "Phew. That was a unexpected turn of events. But what kind of dumb strategy was that."
Liko grinned to Porygon-Z. "Oh it wasn't dumb."
Porygon looked back. Florgato was cheering. Porygon also did the same.
"HUH?!" Porygon-Z quivered as it turned over to her Moraidon, Iron Serpent, who was ready to help finish the fight. "I was just having my Iron Serpent be a helping hand to my Deoxys."
Porygon-Z's eyes went bigger.
"Iron Serpent! Use Electro Drift!"
Iron Serpent roared. "MIRRAAIII!" And then rolls into an electric spinning ball. It rolls its way up to Porygon-Z and bashes it with Electro Drift. Porygon-Z gets knocked backwards servely. "AAARRRGGGHH!!!" Attack Form Deoxys battered up Porygon-Z with a Psycho Boost. Porygon-Z is sent flying to the sky in the cyberspace void of nothingness. "NNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
Liko started dancing with victory. "We won! We did it! We defeated Porygon-Z!"
Porygon went to give Liko a hug. Then they both give high-fives to each other. Attack Form Deoxys and Iron Serpent do a fist bump.
"That was crazy!", Porygon said, getting all amazed.
"It was!", Liko agreed. "Sorry about your brother though..." She felt bad for Porygon-Z.
Porygon didn't care, however. "He'll live. He's been through worse. What matters now is, you faced your fear."
She starts realizing the fear she faced as Porygon mentioned it. She proudly smiles for herself. Her bravery made her feel like she's even more stronger and more ready to be a heroic Pokémon Master. "I'm no longer afraid of vampires then. You know, I've never been able to accomplish something like this before. When I was 10, I was always terrified of those things. But not anymore."
Deoxys lands to the ground near Liko. Liko looks up to Deoxys while bringing up a beautiful smile that appeared on her face. "Deoxys. I'm glad your my new Pokémon. And we're going to do lots of training, adventures, and everything. Come here." Liko puts up her arms towards the Attack Form Pokémon. Deoxys leans towards Liko and she gives the Pokémon a hug. Deoxys hugged Liko back.
Porygon got emotional at this moment. "So cute! Why do I feel like crying?!" Floragato pats Porygon's head. "Flora-Flor."
Liko recalls Attack Form Deoxys in the Great Ball. Liko looks at the Great Ball, Deoxys is in one last time. "You are not alone either, okay?" She was referring to the alien-esque line Deoxys messaged her through her Rotom Phone.
A portal started opening up the sky of cyberspace. "That is our cue to leave!!!", Porygon says with joy. "Let's go!" It grew back to larger size again.
Liko, Iron Serpent, and Floragato take one last ride on Porygon. They all head up into the portal.
Back at the Pokémon Center. They have teleported on the platform. Liko yawned amd stretched with exhaustion. "Good grief. It's finally good to be back."
"You can say that again", Porygon concurred.
"LIKO!"
Roy and Dot run to Liko and pinned her down for a group hug. "We thought you would never make it! Don't scare us like that!", Dot said in emotional tears.
"Your alive! We saw your battle against that Porygon-Z! It was awesome!", Roy said with amazement.
Friede, Murdock, and Orla all smiled together.
Nurse Joy cupped her hands together. "Seeing those three together reminds me of starter Pokémon. It's beautiful. Those kids look like really strong trainers even."
Friede crossed his arms while happy of Liko returning. "Yeah. Especially Liko. She's been through some terrible wild stuff back then, but she's a tough cookie. She's been training the Pokémon she's collected ever since."
"Well. I did it. I fixed your WiFi problem."
Nurse Joy laughed. "Thank you."
Liko still can't get over facing her fear for a while. "I still can't believe I finally put my fear of vampires to rest though. Feels great knowing it took a lot of courage to do that."
"And we're glad.", said Friede. "Now we should get going since our work here is done."
Liko turns to Porygon. "I guess this is goodbye."
"Yeah. It was funtraveling the cyberspace with you. Not only that, your agreement to travel with me gave you the chance to capture Deoxys."
Liko was impressed with her successful catch of Deoxys. "I'd call it more like a cyber type of covenant if anything."
Porygon giggled. "See you around, Liko."
"You too." As Liko was about to start walking, Porygon had another thing on its mind. "One more thing, actually."
"Huh?"
Porygon remembers Liko telling it about her problems. "It may take a bit more time for me to understand humans, but whatever your goingthrough, make sure to kick some explorer butt!"
Liko softly smiles. "Thanks, Porygon."
Friede hears the conversation, he is happy that Liko is lending out what's happened with her in the past with not just people, but Pokémon too. Even talking ones at best.
The gang leave and Nurse Joy and Porygon wave goodbye.
Back at the Airship, everyone is relaxing after a long day at the Pokémon Center. Murdock watches Roy and Dot at the Airships battle arena having a fun Pokémon Battle.
"Crocalor, use Fire Pledge!", yelled Roy.
"Quaxwell, use Water Pledge!", Dot commanded.
Two pledged elements sparked hugely.
Murdock was in huge entertainment. "Epic battling you two! Keep it up! Ha-ha-ha-ha!"
Liko is in the living room of the Airship, watching her favorite show. "Hahahahaha! Destroy that tower! Get them, Groundon-zilla!"
Friede and Orla check in on her for a bit. Orla looks closely at the show she's watching. It was adorable seeing Liko enjoy herself. "Aaww! She's watching Groundon-zilla! My favorite show!"
Friede smiled softly at this. "She deserves a break after all of those shenanigans from earlier today. We should give her some time alone for a few minutes before we check in on her."
"Yeah. I know."
Liko's Rotom Phone makes a ding sound. She looks into it. Carmine gave her a text message and she looks at it.
Liko! You won't believe this. Kiki thought he saw his idol, the legendary Teal Mask orge Pokémon, but all he found was our legendary Bloodmoon Ursaluna! Isn't that hilarious!"
There were laughter emojis at the end. Liko cracked up in laughter. "Her brother is so stupid! Hahahha!!!"
Friede chuckled nervously but loved how happy Liko was. "What's with that...?", he asked nervously.
"Let's just say, that must be her crush talking to her from far away of Paldea."
As Captain Pikachu heard that. He looked like he was about to barf. So he walked to the bathroom. Friede laughs at Captain Pikachu's reaction. "Oh don't worry, Cap! You might find someone too."
Captain Pikachu got embarrassingly upset. "PIKA! PIKA PI!" He ran away to the bathroom.
Both Orla and Friede laugh harder.
Back at Naranja Academy, Ash was in his hotel room and contacts Professor Oak on his Rotom Phone. He had a serious look on his face after what happened at the Anniversary.
"Hello, Ash! I hope you-" But looking at Ash made Professor Oak a bit worried about him. "Why the long face my boy?"
"Professor Oak. This is important. There's this Pokémon Trainer who's crippled me in battle and has Legendary and Mythical Pokémon even. It's urgent that you transport some of my Pokémon here for me."
Professor Oak nods, knowing what Ash needs. "I understand. Your already a Champion Monarch, and there is someone trying to take your title away. Professor Oak smiles with encouragement. "I'll bring you your best fighters! You can count on me!"
Ash is more cheered up. "Thanks, Professor! So I need Solgaleo, Lucario, Naganadel, Melmetal, Sirfetch'd, and Dracovish here."
"I'm on it. Why don't you go to the nearest Pokémon Center in Paldea. You should have them transported to you tomorrow."
"Understood Professor Oak. Thanks for everything."
"No problem."
Ash hangs up the call. Pikachu looks at Ash. Ash looks back at Pikachu. "Alright, Pikachu. If we're going to show Liko what it means to be a true Pokémon Master, we need to not focus on her right now and focus on being champion of Paldea. Then will give her a real battle."
Pikachu gets pumped up and determined. "Pika-pi!"
Ash turns his hat backwards like he always does when getting serious in a Pokémon Battle. "Now let's get out there and end this madness. Once and for all."
Back at Area Zero. AI Sada and AI Turo look at the results from Liko.
"She's caught Deoxys. Two more Pokémon to go.", said AI Sada.
"Excellent. And the Iron Serpent will help more fluently for that since we found Herba Mysticas laying around. Luckily there are still lots of them out there." AI Turo looks into information of Ash Ketchum on his computer. "We must not let the boy enter our lab. For the sake of our Paradise Protection Protocol. And our other alternative programming."
AI Sada agrees. "Liko is our source. She is the true protector. Once she has her Arceus, Ash will not succeed in saving Paldea. We will make sure of that."
There is a huge crystal room with some sort of platform that is below the lab of Area Zero. And Mew is having fun roaming around there.
"Mew." Mew then laughs. "Meweweweewewwewew!" It flies around and disappears to travel more of Area Zero and Paldea.
And Ash will finally have his old Pokémon return to him. Man this'll be fun! Chapter 7 will be even more fun and actually funnier. And I'll give you a hint, it's going to be an Arven chapter. Why? Well find out for yourself.
I have heard something's from you guys about Ash Ketchum's personality and let me explain what I've did. So Ash in this story is a teenager. I made it so that he has a really more opened heart and is selfless and puts everyone else before himself because he's understanding people and their emotions more as his mind and age develops. Not saying he did back when he was 10. But he's no longer 10 and has matured to understand people and Pokémon a whole lot more.
But also, I promise to make sure he acts like how he was in the anime and not what happened the last chapter. And I will make sure Ash has his development of showing everyone why he's a true Pokémon Master.
As for how he might help Liko though, it might take time, but she'll get a redemption arc for sure. Liko is basically a for now false Pokémon Master. But she'll learn eventually.
