Following the events of Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask, Link struggles to adapt to a civilian lifestyle. His obsession with his mission leads to him needing to be rescued by Malon. The bond the two develop after helps him accept his new fate. However, his destiny is still uncertain as he must deal with a conniving Ganondorf, an army of Gerudo & the consequences of Zelda's spell.

Tetra is a simple country girl, stuck in a Cinderella-like situation. After her father remarries & then passes, her stepmother plans to sell her to a slaver named Ganon, forcing her to flee and steal away to the high seas! Eventually finding herself on a ship belonging to a young captain named Link, he may be the only one who can save her from her past, and restore her future.

Set immediately after the end of Breath of the Wild, Zelda has returned to an unfamiliar land and a world that she is now free to explore. Despite the many set backs of those that want her on the throne, she thrives to live life like a normal Hylian, with Link by her side to protect and guide her though all the challenges and threats.

Link knows he will eventually have to face Demise's Curse, and has been training obsessively for 11 years in preparation. But when the Master Sword is cursed so badly it can't even be put to rest, and monsters are attacking, and the enemy is still nowhere to be found, the Hero and the Princess are left with nothing but unsolvable problems.

She looked up at the Great Plateau towering above, and back to the boy on the ground. No one could have survived that fall, but she could tell from his groan he had. "Are you okay?" She called. She approached him but kept a hand on her knife. The figure remained still for a moment before he coughed, raised a hand, and formed a wobbling thumbs up. (OC not shipped w/Link)
