Hello everyone, I'm back with chapter 2! Hopefully this one will be longer than the first. As mentioned in the end of last chapter, Izuku's quirk works by him turning the oxygen he inhales into the element he wants to use. I plan on using total concentration to have him come up with interesting moves. Please read and review!

Chapter 2: From Here to There?

There was a heavy silence after Izuku managed to create fire from just a kick. Dr. Tsubasa then noticed that the boy's shorts were slightly singed at the ends.

"Woah, my boy. That was quite the surprise!"

The doctor said as he grabbed a wash clothe to pat down the singed area. The burnt part of the fabric should of burt Izuku by being so close but he showed no pain from the heat. Inko was about to faint from the fire coming out of nowhere but manged to rush to Izukus's side.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay Izuku?! Where does it hurt?? Does it burn?!"

While the adults were busy making sure his leg wasn't burned, Izuku was currently stuck in his head.

'I just kicked fire?! This is almost like dad's quirk! But he was only able to breathe fire. Does mom's quirk amplify dads quirk enough to come from my whole body?!'

While the boy was stuck in his head, hus mouth was also going off on a mumbling spree again. Dr. Tsubasa heard every other thing that was mumbled and looked at Izuku with an impressed smile. Inko on the other hand was in full mother mode, still trying to see if any mark of injury was on her baby boy. After the leg was check on and cleared of any burns everything calmed down.

After the display of a new ability, Dr. Tsubasa grew more intrigued with Izuku. Taking what he heard the boy mumble he asked Inko to have a seat and took one himself.

"Alright Ms. Midoriya, I apologize for the long wait but were almost done here. Your boy has a very unique ability."

Inko nodded and have a weak smile.

"It's no problem doctor, I'm sure you get surprises like that all the time. I'm actually surprised that Izuku got a variation of his fathers quirk."

Dr. Tsubasa gave her a small grin. He took a quick glance at Izuku, who was busy playing with his All Might figure and trying to kick fire again.

"Not only that ma'am, but he also has yours as well. Not separately of course, but your quirk and your husbands quirk both combined and formed Izuku's quirk."

Inko took his words in and tried to make sense of them. She didn't have the brain her son has for quirk theory. What would fire breathing and weak telekinesis do?

"Thank you Dr. Tsubasa, you have been a very big help. What do you think we should do to try to have him control the fire he can make?"

Once Izuku heard that, he jumped up and ran to his mother's side ready to listen as well. Both doctor and mother chuckled.

"With Izuku's quirk, it's gonna be tough to master. Most fire users tend to have their emotions be the key to how they use their quirks."

Both Midoriyas listened carefully as Dr. Tsubasa gave some advice on how to work on controlling one's own emotions. When that was done, Izuku let out a loud yawn and started to rub his eyes.

"That's our signal to head home now. Again, thank you so much Dr. Tsubasa."

Inko went over to Izuku and scooped him up in her arms. He was too sleepy to resist so settled on giving the doctor a sleepy wave. The doctor walked the pair to the door and smiled widely.

"It was my pleasure. You two get home safely."

As Dr. Tsubasa closed the door, a faint dark laughter could be heard but was quickly covered.

-two days later-

Izuku sat infront of the computer screen like he usually does before bed. The video of All Might's debut played for the hundredth time yet he still has the same excited look as if it was his first time watching it. The school that the greenette attended allowed him a week off as to get use to his quirk. It had been a couple days since the check up and Izuku had been doing small experiments with the fire he can produce. Being five years old, he couldn't produce anything too spectacular. The best he can do is have fire follow his limbs when he throws a sloppy punch or a messy kick.

The audio from the video went over Izuku's ears as he pondered how to make his fire bigger. He wish that his father was here to help him, but he knew that something happened between him and his mother. Not wanting to think about that right now, he decided to do some more research. There weren't too many things that he could do at his age without injury besides simple exercise. He could probably have is mom enroll him in some sort of quirk gym as well. He hoped that they would have other fire users.

"Dinner will be ready soon Izuuuu!"

He heard his mother call out from the kitchen. Looking at the clock, Izuku didn't even realize he'd spent half the day looking up information on fire based quirks.

"I'll be down in a minute, shutting off the computer!"

He shouted back. After shutting down the computer he hopped off the chair and sped walked to the kitchen. The growling in his stomach could be heard as he entered the kitchen. Inko chuckled and started to dish out their food in separate bowls. Once Izuku saw the meal, he let out a happy whoop.

"Yay! We're having momma's yummy katsudon!"

Izuku started to bounce around in his chair happily while Inko got the bowls ready.

"I didnt have the ingredients to make it after your check up but I still wanted to celebrate with your favorite."

She said with a mother's smile. She truly wanted to support her son in anyway possible. Once the food was prepared, she took hers and Izuku's bowls and out them on the dinner table. After a small prayer of thanks the both of them dug in. Izuku ate more than both of them thought he would.

Izuku laid in bed on the verge of falling asleep. The night was nice and cool so he left the window open with the screen protector. A soft light filled part of the room from the beautiful full moon. Posters of various heroes scattered the walls with the most being of All Might. Taking one last yawn, the greenette turned to his side and fell into a peaceful slumber.

-Elsewhere-

A dingy light connected to a rotting cable flickered in and out, showing a figure seated in a large chair. Various cables and tubes connected to the mask that the person wore. The combination of the poor lighting and the medical tools around kept his face just out of view. Even though it was obvious he is severely injured everything about the man screamed 'FEAR ME'.

"Ah, doctor it is a surprise to see you visit me tonight. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

The man's voice came out robotically due to the machines keeping him from speaking properly. The tone was friendly but laced with something cynical.

"Master, I believe that I have found something worth investing in."

A man took a step closer into the flickering light wiping a pair of goggles with a handkerchief. After putting them back on and adjusting them, he let out a manic grin.

-Back With Izuku-

Izuku was a little confused at what he was looking at. In front of him were small embers of each element. There was fire, water, lightening, earth, air, and something else he couldn't quite make out. It was some kind of green light with black smoke or fog around it. Being the toddler he is, this frightened him naturally.

He took a few steps back as to get some distance from the embers. As soon as he moved the embers moved as well, surrounding him. Izuku tried to jump back but halted when he noticed something. The fire although small was burning very intensely. Out of the other elements, fire seemed to be more lively. Slowly he reached out his hand towards the flame.

The flame burned hot, very hot. The only thing is that Izuku didn't feel any pain. He felt the warmth and intensity of the heat but no pain. Hesitantly moving forward, he opened his hand and slowly closed it around the fire. The light that came from the flame vanished as did the other embers. For a moment it was calm. Izuku took the faint second to realize that he was literally nowhere, a void. A second later a bright flame engulfed Izuku.

He wasn't afraid at all. The flame made him feel strength he never knew someone could have. Izuku didn't know what to think or say. As the flame burned around him it started to turn green. Then something strange happened. There was a faint voice heard from outside of the flame. Izuku whipped his head around searching for who was talking.

"Take a deep breath..."

The voice was only a bit above a whisper but Izuku heard it as clear as day. It was as if instinct took over his small body as he inhaled deeply. The green flame that surrounded him suddenly started to be inhaled by the young boy. The feeling of power rushed over Izuku's body again. This time when Izuku looked at his body, he could see the green flames go throughout every muscle, organ, and bone. The feeling was overwhelming his small body and suddly everything went dark.

-Midoriya Apartment-

The smoke detectors could be heard going off early in the morning. Inko jumped out of bed and instinctively went to check on her son. As she got to Izuku's room she could hear that it was the alarm in his room. Not bothering with the door, the mother used the adrenaline from fear to force it open. What she saw nearly gave her a heart attack and faint at the same time.

Izuku wasn't having a good morning to say the least. After having that weird dream in the dark place, he woke up to find his pj bottoms were on fire. Naturally, this would cause any five year old boy to freak out. The only thing is, is that Izuku is much more intelligent that a normal five year old. The fire didn't seem to hurt him at all. Seeing as it was a small fire at first, he was able to get out of bed without damage to his beloved All Might sheets.

He stood infront of the mirror that was on his door and watched the fire spread around his pjs. Once it got to the size if his small fist he noticed something. It started to burn the bigger the fire got. Snapping out of his amazement he started to pat out the fire which causes smoke. He fell to the ground in an attempt to remove the burning pj's and thats how his mother charged in to see him. On the floor with smoke coming out of his pants.
