If you're just joining us, our heroes and their friends and rivals have entered the Club Battle tournament in Nimbasa, hosted by Don George. We're now down to the final four trainers in the semi finals. Ash versus Hugh, and Elliot versus the mysterious and powerful trainer Dino. Up on the field first is the match between Ash and Hugh, how will our hero manage?

"Pikachu let's go!"

"Alright Ash, time for my secret weapon, come on out Panpour!" Hugh called out.

"Hugh is aware that Panpour is weak to Ash's ace, and Ash sent out Pikachu first, right?" Rosa asked.

Round 3 Match 1

"Pikachu use Charge Beam!"

"Panpour use Dig!"

Panpour dove underground, avoiding Pikachu's attack.

"Pikachu hit the hole with an Iron Tail!" Ash called out.

Pikachu rushed around to the hole, slamming his tail down onto the opening.

"What was the point of that Panpour isn't over there." Hugh taunted, only for the water type to reemerge holding his hands over his ears.

"Echoes." Ash said with a smirk.

"Now Pikachu use Quick Attack!"

Pikachu raced towards Panpour, slamming into the water type as it was still recovering from the previous onslaught.

"Panpour use Scald!"

Panpour stood back up, releasing a stream of water, right at Pikachu.

"Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed, from the hot water dousing him.

"Pikachu!" Ash exclaimed.

"Pi!" Pikachu called back affirming his trainer he was good to keep going.

"Alright then, Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

"Panpour use Dig!"

Panpour dove back into the ground, easily avoiding Pikachu's electrical attack once more.

"This is a great plan and all, but kind of cheap." Stephan commented.

"And it relies on Panpour being quicker than Pikachu, and I have a feeling that's hes just been lucky these times." Elliot commented.

"Pikachu ready a Thunderbolt!"

"Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed, charging up with power, electricity sparking from his cheeks.

"Now Panpour, from below!" Hugh called out.

The ground beneath Pikachu's feet gave way as Panpour leapt up, sending the electric type into the air.

"Now Pikachu!" Ash called out.

"Panpour back underground!"

Panpour took a moment to understand the command, and then paused as sparks traveled across their body.

"Paralysis, engenius." Elliot remarked as Panpour was struck by the bolt of electricity.

"Maybe, but Hugh did just make sure that in the final fight, Pikachu will be in no condition to battle if they win." Jeb pointed out.

"Pikachu use Charge Beam!"

"Panpour dodge it!"

Pikachu sent out a beam of electricity once he'd landed, the attack connecting with Panpour as the water type collapsed on the ground.

"Panpour is unable to battle, making the winner Pikachu!" Don George declared.

"Good idea Hugh." Ash said. "Not good enough, but definitely a better idea than our previous matches."

"I'll figure out a tactic one of these days to beat you." Hugh said with a smirk.

Round 3 Match 2

"Okay Porygon2 come out!" Elliot called out.

"Predictable, you've been relying on them the past two rounds with no changes, but you won't get that lucky this time." Dino said. "Come out Heatmor!"

"Porygon2 use Psybeam!"

"Heatmor use Flamethrower!"

Heatmor sent out a stream of flames, swirling around Porygon2 as the fire type was lifted into the air.

"Heatmor use Focus Blast!"

"Porygon2 use Signal Beam!"

Heatmor sent out a blast of energy from their snout, countered by Porygon2's light green beam, the two attacks colliding in midair and sending off a cloud of smoke.

"Heatmor use Flamethrower!"

"Porygon2 use Ice Beam!"

Porygon2 fired off a freezing beam with the hope of it counteracting and nullifying Heatmor's flames to no effect as the normal type was quickly engulfed.

"Now Heatmor use Focus Blast!"

Heatmor took the opportunity to send off another attack, knocking into Porygon2 and sending it collapsed to the ground in defeat.

"Porygon2 is unable to battle, the winner is Heatmor." Don George declared.

"I hope you have a plan Ash." Elliot said, knowing that this would not be an easy fight.

Round 4 Championship Match

"Alright, Snivy, I choose you!" Ash called out.

"Druddigon let's go!" Dino called out.

"Elliot, anything you can tell us on Druddigon?" Rosa asked.

"They're powerful and rare and dragons." Elliot said.

"Which means the only things good against them are ice and other dragons." Rosa sighed.

"And Druddigon resists both of Snivy's offensive types his Aqua Tail, Vine Whip, and Energy Ball will all be at half strength." Elliot said.

"So you're saying this battle is likely already decided." Hugh questioned.

"It would appear so." Elliot remarked.

"Snivy don't listen to them, use Energy Ball!" Ash called out.

Snivy flipped into the air, sending out a ball of green energy at Druddigon, the dragon type easily shrugging off the attack.

"I was hoping to fight that Pikachu of yours, or even that Braviary you all had been talking about, but a win is a win in my book." Dino said. "Druddigon use Dragon Claw!"

"Snivy dodge it!"

Druddigon marched forward with surprising speed, slashing at Snivy and knocking them backwards.

"Snivy get up and use Aqua Tail!"

"Druddigon use Crunch!"

Druddigon rushed forward, biting down on Snivy's aqua tail, tossing them to the side.

"This isn't even fair, at least Braviary would have had a size advantage." Rosa argued.

"That's the way of this kind of battle, make a choice and stick with it." Stephan said.

"Snivy use Energy Ball!"

"Druddigon use Dragon Rage!"

An orb of blew flames shot across the field, striking Snivy while they were still down.

"Come on Snivy, don't go down like this." Rosa said leaning forward.

"Sni." Snivy said already struggling.

"If Snivy cannot get back up the match will be called here, even with them still conscious." Don George declared.

"Snivy, it's your choice, either way." Ash said.

"Vy!" Snivy said, standing tall as he was bathed in light.

"Wait, what's happening?" Rosa said in shock.

"It's Snivy, he's, evolving!" Elliot said in shock.

"Servine." The newly evolved Pokemon said with confidence.

"Now we're talking about a bit of a challenge. Druddigon use Dragon Claw!"

"Vine!" Servine declared, leaping at Druddigon, it and it's vines entangling the dragon type, keeping it from attacking.

"What was that?" Rosa asked.

"Wrap, it can stall out your opponents and even keep them from switching in battle." Elliot said.

"Druddigon use Crunch!"

"Vine Vine Vine!" Servine said, flipping their tail about as a whirlwind of leaves surrounded the two battling Pokemon.

'That's Leaf Tornado!" Stephan said incredulously.

"Druddigon enough messing around, use Fire Fang!"

Druddigon opened their mouth filled with fire, biting down on Servine, causing the grass type to release its grip and go limp.

"Servine is unable to battle the winner is Druddigon. The Club Battle tournament victor is Dino!" Don George declared.

"Impressive fighting skills Ash." Dino said, walking over. "Tell me are you taking on the gyms here in Unova as well?"

"Yeah, I've been trying to come up with a plan for my fourth badge." Ash said.

"Well I'm sure with Servine by your side they won't stand much a chance. Seems he evolved just to try and not give up." Dino said. "I'm sure we'll see each other around."

"I'm sure we will Dino." Ash said, shaking his opponents hand. "And Servine thank you for that awesome fight, we might not have won the tournament, but you evolving is more than enough of a prize in my book."
