"Okay everyone relax, food is coming right now." Rosa said, setting down food bowls for the groups Pokemon.
Minccino, Herdier, Pikachu, Servine, Dewott, and Riolu all gathered around to get the food as Rosa set down the bowls.
"Hey Elliot, any idea where Ash is?" Rosa asked.
"He said something about training Larvesta and Darumaka." Elliot said.
"Alright, that's all the mouths accounted for then." Rosa said, knowing Ash would make sure his fire types were fed once they were done.
"Foon?" A Pokemon said, hopping over to Minccino's food bowl.
"Min? Min!" Minccino said in shock, trying to move the Pokemon away with one of her tails.
"Foon!" The Pokemon responded hopping back over, trying to get some food.
"Min!" Minccino said, trying to keep it away with one of her tails.
"Elliot, what Pokemon is that?" Rosa asked.
"What Pokemon?" Elliot asked looking up to notice the Pokemon being pushed by Minccino. "Oh no, that's a Foongus."
"Why do you say oh no, he looks so cute." Rosa said.
"Foon!" The Foongus said, fed up with Minccino not sharing as it released a colorful group of pollenous spores on the group of Pokemon.
"That's why!" Elliot said, covering his mouth as Rosa did the same quickly.
"What was that?" Rosa asked.
"It's Foongus's ability, Effect Spore." Elliot said, as the Foongus continued releasing the spores.
"Larvesta use Ember!" Ash called out, scaring off the Foongus as he arrived with Larvesta and Darumaka, also dispersing the remaining spores. "What happened?"
"That Foongus spread it's spores over all of our Pokemon." Rosa responded.
"Weirdly not the first time something like this has happened, just last time I was hit." Ash said. "Elliot is there any cure nearby, I don't think we can safely transport all of our Pokemon back to a Pokemon Center."
"I can check." Elliot said, opening his computer. "Ah ha here we are, Heal Powder, it's made by crushing some green mushrooms with yellow spots up into a fine powder."
"Okay, we just need to find some green mushrooms, any chance that we can find them around here?" Ash asked.
"If Foongus are nearby there's a good chance that these also grow nearby." Elliot responded. "Look for damp and dark locations."
"Alright, we'll go and look for some." Ash said. "You guys stay here and keep an eye on our Pokemon."
"We can help." Rosa offered.
"You are, bu keeping an eye on our Pokemon." Ash said. "Make sure to keep them cool and their airways clear."
"R-right, I'll make sure to do that." Rosa said.
"What about me?" Elliot asked.
"Porygon2 is an artificial Pokemon, so it shouldn't be effected by the spores, if the Foongus comes back, protect everyone." Ash said, taking charge. "Come on Darumaka we need to find those mushrooms, I have an idea where to start."
"Daru!" Darumaka said, following after Ash, still holding Larvesta.
A bit of a ways off
"There we are, right near the river over here, green mushrooms with yellow spots." Ash said, seeing them in a small area.
"Foon!"
"Foon!"
"Foon!"
"More Foongus, alright Larvesta use Ember!" Ash called out, the bug type having gotten a lot of experience and training as of late.
"Vesta!" Larvesta called out, sending out a spurt of embers at the Foongus from enough of a range that their spores couldn't hit him or Darumaka.
"Alright, wrap them up with a String Shot!" Ash called out.
"Lar!" Larvesta exclaimed, sending a string of silk out at the trio, only for it to wrap around something much larger.
"Moongus!" The larger Pokemon said angrily, pulling on the string, launching Larvesta closer to them before punching the bug type.
"Daru!" Darumaka exclaimed, rushing forward, striking the large mushroom Pokemon with a Fire Punch.
"Darumaka be careful!" Ash shouted, as the mushroom Pokemon, knocked Darumaka away with ease, tossing Larvesta behind them.
"Alright, Darumaka use Flame Wheel!"
Darumaka rolled forward, engulfing herself in flames as she aimed at the large Pokemon to no avail as it threw her back once more.
"We're not leaving without Larvesta or those mushrooms! Use Fire Punch!"
Darumaka rushed forward, striking the mushroom Pokemon again, only to be blocked once more before being struck by an Energy Ball.
"Daru!" Darumaka said angrily getting back up.
"Moon Moon Moongus!" The mushroom Pokemon chuckled.
"Daru!" Darumaka exclaimed, as she was engulfed in light before launching at the mushroom Pokemon once more, striking it hard enough to cause it to flinch.
"Darumaka you evolved!" Ash exclaimed.
"Darmanitan!" The newly evolved Pokemon called out, slamming it's fists against their body.
"Alright then Darmanitan, time to show off your upgraded strength!" Ash said enthusiastically.
"Manitan!" Darmanitan said, leaping and spinning in the air before swinging her arm down like a hammer on the mushroom Pokemon, freeing Larvest who rejoined the larger fire type on top of her head.
"Alright, use Flame Wheel!"
Darmanitan rolled into a ball, with Larvesta scattering across before slamming into the large mushroom Pokemon once more, causing it to run off.
"Alright, we got the mushrooms." Ash said, picking enough for the other Pokemon hopefully.
Back with Rosa and Elliot
"We've got the mushrooms!" Ash said as he ran with Darmanitan back to the group.
"That's great." Rosa said, double checking on Minccino's temperature. "Let's get started on preparing them right away."
A few minutes later
"Alright Pikachu, I know this will taste bitter, but it will make you feel better." Ash said, giving a small spoonful of the powder to the electric type.
"This is actually surprising Ash, how did you know how to do this?" Rosa asked, as she took care of Herdier.
"I used to travel with a trainer named Brock, he was really smart about things like this and is actually working on becoming a Pokemon doctor right now. I learned a lot about caring for Pokemon illnesses from him." Ash admitted.
"And today wasn't a total loss, Darumaka evolved and is huge now." Elliot commented, as he finished administering the medicine to Servine.
"Yeah, she's a lot more powerful now, but I think her and Larvesta don't even care." Ash admitted as Darmanitan rolled around with Larvesta still on top of her.

Real quick answering this before it gets asked, no Darmanitan will not have her Zen Mode ability, not that I'm against it, but the ability is odd that you switch a physical attacker to a special attacker when under half health, Zen Mode will be shown at a later date with a different Darmanitan.
