Ash slowly opened his eyes, seeing he was in a white room.
"Ash, are you awake, like actually awake this time?" Rosa asked.
"I'm guessing there's a reason for asking that?" Ash groaned.
"You were found outside the Pokemon Center with all of your Pokemon around you, bleeding pretty bad." Rosa said. "What did you do?"
"Would you believe me if I say I went and fought the monster in the chasm?" Ash asked.
"Yes, I would very much believe you." Rosa said. "What happened, and tell me the other guy looks worse than you do."
"The first one did." Ash groaned.
"The first one, was there more than one monster?" Elliot asked.
"You believe it now?" Ash asked.
"It's that or you fought a small army." Elliot commented.
"Both actually." Ash groaned, trying to sit up.
"Just relax, and what do you mean a small army?" Rosa asked.
"Last night, Zekrom woke me up, and directed me to the giant chasm where he fought an icy dragon. Both returning to their stone forms afterwards." Ash said with a groan.
"You found the gray dragon?! That's incredible, but that doesn't explain the small army." Elliot said.
"As soon as they returned to stone forms these metal rods pierced the ground around them, creating a cage of sorts, and then we were ambushed." Ash admitted.
"By who or what?" Rosa asked.
"Team Plasma." Ash said with a grunt.
"Seriously, but those two are nothing." Elliot said.
"No, not the same two we keep running into, they kept calling this one man Lord Ghetsis, and there was this team of ninjas." Ash said, putting a hand on his head, feeling bandages up there.
"Ninjas, you honestly want us to believe you fought ninjas." Rosa questioned.
"Look, I'm just telling you they looked like ninjas and there were three of them. And, and Colress was there too." Ash groaned.
"Colress, where is he, is he okay?!" Elliot asked in shock.
"Yeah, because he was with them." Ash said apologetically.
"No. We helped him, I, I helped him created things to control Pokemon!" Elliot said in shock.
"We've all messed up, and we can't focus on that right now." Ash said weakly.
"Why, what happened?" Rosa asked.
"They took Zekrom." Ash admitted.
"Which means they also took the gray dragon." Elliot realized.
"Okay, but they still don't have Reshiram right? I mean we have no idea where the Light Stone landed. Tell me they don't have Reshiram Ash." Rosa said in a panic.
Ash remained silent, causing Rosa and Elliot to realize the severity of the situation now.
"They have all three dragons." Elliot said in shock.
"They're not awake yet, so we have time still." Ash said.
"Time for what, you couldn't even stop them before they had all three!" Rosa exclaimed. "What are we even going to do?!"
"We continue to Opelucid City and do my fourth movie." Ash said, with a grunt as he sat up. "Once there we send out a message, to all of Unova about the true dangers of Team Plasma, they won't be able to hide or operate anywhere without people knowing then."
"And from there, gym leaders, trainers, even members of the league could all work together to stop them at every chance!" Elliot exclaimed.
"Rosa, what do you think?" Ash asked.
"I think it's dumb and risky, but so are most of your plans, so rest up and we'll get going tomorrow morning." Rosa said. "Just hope Stu Deeoh doesn't flip about what happened to your face."
"My face?" Ash asked, as Rosa held out a compact, showing his busted lip and a scar over an eyebrow.
"Like we said, it looked like you fought a small army." Elliot commented. "Get some rest man, your Pokemon are getting it too."
Later that evening
"Ash what are you doing?" The Nurse Joy asked, watching him get up out of his room.
"Just stretching my legs for a minute, I feel fine, just bored. Is that okay?" Ash asked.
"Just don't go out for too long." The Nurse Joy said.
Ash walked outside the doors to the Pokemon center, feeling the breeze of the night air. Not freezing like yesterday, but cooling. As Ash took a deep breath he could feel someone was approaching him.
"Look, whoever you are, I'm not able to battle right now, you'll have to wait until tomorrow morning." Ash said, turning to see the blue Pokemon from the night he'd caught Dewott. "It's you."
"Balion." The blue Pokemon said, their hooves tapping against the stone walkway.
"You, I recognize that sound, you were in the chasm last night!" Ash exclaimed, the Pokemon only nodding in response.
"Ash, thank Arceus, Nurse Joy said you went outside and…" Rosa paused seeing the Pokemon as Elliot joined them.
"Ash, what's going on?" Elliot said carefully.
"This Pokemon, I've met them before, the night I caught Dewott, and they were in the chasm yesterday, I think they're the one who rescued me." Ash said. "Why didn't you help! Zekrom was taken and I could've used your help!"
"Okay, but what about the other two." Rosa said.
Ash looked up to the rooftops to see two other Pokemon, one green and slim and the other brown and bulky.
"What are they?" Ash asked.
"If I had to guess, these are the Swords of Justice." Elliot said in shock. "Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion."
"Swords of Justice! Why didn't you step in! Team Plasma has all three dragons! We could have stopped them together!" Ash argued angrily.
"Co!" Cobalion countered angrily.
"No, you do not yell at me, you're legendary Pokemon, you could have helped, we were out numbered!" Ash argued.
"Co!" Cobalion said again sternly.
"What do you want from me?!" Ash asked angrily.
"Co!" Cobalion ordered.
"Now?!" Ash said angrily. "I can do this just fine now!" Ash countered holding up a fist with electricity.
"Balion!" Cobalion commanded.
"Are you getting any of this?" Rosa asked.
"Not a bit." Elliot admitted.
"My powers, but there's nothing of my powers that I could have done to stop them last night!" Ash argued.
"Cobalion!" Cobalion argued, pointing his horns at Ash directly.
"Me?" Ash asked, with Cobalion nodding. "They have Zekrom but they still need me, don't they." Ash realized.
"What are you saying Ash?" Rosa asked.
"Back in Vale, Damon he needed me for Zekrom, apparently we're bonded now, and he couldn't wake him without me." Ash said.
"Meaning that not in your hands, the Dark Stone, is just that, a stone." Rosa realized.
"But it's a stone Ash doesn't have and if they can awaken the other two will the third really matter?" Elliot asked.
"We'll find them and get Zekrom back and the others before they awaken any of the dragons." Ash said in confidence. "But that still doesn't explain why you three didn't step in."
"Maybe because you needed this." Rosa said.
"What I needed to get beaten and left for dead?" Ash asked.
"You said you now know that Team Plasma has all three dragons, when did you find that out?" Rosa asked.
"It was as they were leaving, Ghetsis thanked me and gloated that they had all of them now." Ash said.
"So now we know that Team Plasma has all three, we just need to find them before they wake them up now." Elliot said. "If they'd stepped in earlier, you wouldn't have been told that, and Reshiram would still be completely lost."
